[0:02][Applause] [Music] the migration of the holy prophet Muhammad s alai wasallam

[0:24]from mecah to this holy city Medina is a glorious chapter in

[0:28]Islamic history upon arrival here the holy prophet established a number of

[0:33]things they include Brotherhood building the mosque and the Medina Charter let's

[0:39]look at 10 ways this could help us all today number one

[0:42]promoting Brotherhood based on faith not blood when the holy prophet Muhammad

[0:48]sallallahu alaihi wasallam arrived in Medina he recognized the importance of unity

[0:53]the mun the migrants from Mecca and the ansar the natives of

[0:59]Medina were initially from different Tri tribes with different customs and histories

[1:04]to break the barriers of tribalism and establish a stronger Community the

[1:08]holy prophet s alai wasallam paired each muhaj with an ansar as

[1:12]brothers in faith this was a powerful shift from tribal loyalty to

[1:18]faith-based Brotherhood in today's world we often get divided by ethnic backgrounds

[1:23]nationality or social status as Shia and Muslims we should prioritize our

[1:28]shared faith above all else strengthen bonds within the community regardless of

[1:35]race or background and work towards Unity indeed the Believers are brothers

[1:41]as the Quran inat says number two support each other through hardships

[1:47]when the muhajirun arrived in Medina they left behind their homes properties

[1:52]and indeed wealth in Mecca the ansar in a show of extraordinary

[1:57]generosity shared their homes well and resources with the newcomers they even

[2:04]offered half of their properties and agricultural lands to the m the

[2:10]mutual support was a foundation for the community's growth and cohesion in

[2:15]times of Crisis be it beneficial struggles or personal difficulties we must

[2:19]offer our help to follow Muslims whether through charity kind words or

[2:24]practical assistance we should always be there for one another the best

[2:28]of people are those who are most beneficial to others according to

[2:33]the holy prophet Muhammad sah alaih wasallam number three create inclusive and

[2:39]just societies upon his arrival in Medina the holy prophet sallai drafted

[2:45]the constitution of Medina also known as the Medina cha now this

[2:48]document laid out the framework for governance and ensured the rights of

[2:56]all citizens in the city Muslims and non-muslims alike it established the

[3:00]principles of equality Justice and mutual respect ensuring the protection of various

[3:07]religious communities including the Jewish tribes we must work towards creating inclusive

[3:13]communities where justice prevails for all regardless of their religion background or

[3:18]status uphold Justice in our own work family and Society advocate for

[3:25]the rights of minorities and marginalized groups oh mankind indeed we have

[3:31]created you from male and female and made you people and tribes

[3:34]that you may know one another inat chapter 49 verse 13 number

[3:39]four encourage active participation in building the community when it came to

[3:45]the building of the mosque in Medina the holy prophet sallallahu alaih

[3:50]Ali wasallam did not just give orders to his companions he actively

[3:53]participated in the physical work of constructing the mosque here behind me

[3:58]he was seen digging and carrying brakes alongside his companions setting an

[4:03]example of leadership through action and hard work build your community Through

[4:09]active participation whether it's contributing time skills or resources each individual has

[4:15]a role to play in strengthening the collective don't wait for others

[4:19]to act be the change you wish to see the believer to

[4:25]the believer is like a building each part strengthening the other according

[4:29]to the holy prophet s number five value knowledge and education the

[4:37]holy prophet sallallahu alaih Al wasallam established the mosque not only as

[4:41]a place of worship but also as a center for education and

[4:45]learning it became a place where companions gathered to learn about Islam

[4:50]quranic Revelations and how to apply the teachings in their daily life

[4:54]the holy prophet sallallahu alai wasallam emphasized the seeking of knowledge as

[4:59]an obligation for all Muslims establish education on institutions study circles and

[5:06]discussions on Islamic teachings within your community prioritize seeking knowledge both religious

[5:11]and worldly and ensure that the younger generation is taught the values

[5:17]of Islam seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim number six

[5:27]promote peaceful coexistence the holy prophet sallallah Al wasallam recognized the importance

[5:33]of peaceful coexistence in Medina under the Medina Charter he ensured that

[5:36]non-muslims such as the Jewish tribes as well as the Christians had

[5:40]the right to practice their faith and maintain their own communities the

[5:44]holy prophet was fair to all promoting tolerance and peaceful relations between

[5:49]different groups in this city in a diverse world we should promote

[5:53]peaceful coexistence and respect for all religions whether at work in school

[5:57]or in our communities Embrace diversity and advocate for Harmony and mutual

[6:04]respect as the Quran says number seven establish strong moral foundations the

[6:10]holy prophet sallallahu alaihi Ali wasallam placed great emphasis on establishing a

[6:15]strong moral framework within the community he encouraged honesty trustworthiness and integrity

[6:22]in dealings for example he implemented a system where trust was key

[6:27]in financial transactions and the community was expecting to honor agreements and

[6:32]commitments made to each other we must embody the values of honesty

[6:38]integrity and Justice in our personal and professional lives strengthen the moral

[6:41]Foundation of our communities by being role models for the Youth and

[6:48]by holding ourselves accountable the best amongst you are those with the

[6:55]best character said the holy prophet s wasam number eight Foster spiritual

[6:59]and social responsibility the holy prophet sallallahu alaihi Ali wasallam made it

[7:04]clear that Muslims were responsible for one another's welfare in Medina here

[7:10]the ansar took on the responsibility of supporting the muhajirun the holy

[7:12]prophet sallallahu alaihi Ali wasallam encouraged individuals to care for the poor

[7:17]the orphans and those in need his leadership emphasized the social responsibility

[7:23]of each member of the community as Muslims we must realize our

[7:27]role in society take responsib ability for our own actions and the

[7:34]well-being of those around us offer help to those in need and

[7:38]promote the welfare of others both socially and indeed spiritually Allah says

[7:47]you are the best of the Nations brought out for mankind number

[7:51]nine encourage compassion and forgiveness even after facing tremendous opposition and persecution

[7:57]the holy prophet sallallahu alaihi Ali wasallam displayed immense compassion and forgiveness

[8:02]when he returned to Mecca Victorious he forgave many of those who

[8:06]had previously persecuted him this act of forgiveness helped heal the divisions

[8:11]and set an example for his followers lesson for today Embrace forgiveness

[8:19]and compassion in our own relationships when conflicts arise focus on reconciled

[8:22]rather than holding grudges the act of forgiveness strengthens bonds and paves

[8:27]the way for a harmonious Society the strong person is not the

[8:33]one who is able to overpower others but the one who controls

[8:36]themselves when they are angry according to and finally number 10 build

[8:45]resilient and self-sufficient communities the holy prophet sallallahu alaihi Al wasallam encouraged

[8:48]the people of Medina to become self-sufficient this was seen in the

[8:52]establishment of farming trade and AR agricultural activities Muslims were encouraged to

[8:58]work hard and build the community that did not depend on external

[9:02]sources but rather was rooted in selfreliance and mutual cooperation in today's

[9:08]world we should strive to build self-sufficient communities by investing in skills

[9:13]development Mutual support and assistance of others by becoming less dependent on

[9:20]outside sources and building local resources we strengthen the community's resilience may

[9:27]Allah subhana wa T grant us all to to follow in the

[9:29]footsteps of this great human being Muhammad mustafam and His holy progeny
