[0:01]foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] foreign foreign which is basically losing faith
[1:11]at the time of death we said multiple times that tries to
[1:19]pull one last attack against the human being uh in fact he
[1:26]does pull that attack and tries to mislead him at the time
[1:31]of death so that the human the believer may die as a
[1:35]disbeliever or a hypocrite or a polytheist or at least a person
[1:42]in doubt someone who doubts in the truth is very dangerous very
[1:48]dangerous thus we have certain supplications where the imams or at least
[1:55]one of the imams asks Allah to protect him from now obviously
[2:01]we know that the Imam will never be Muslim they are the
[2:05]infallibles they're the guides but they make such duas to teach us
[2:11]what to ask Allah in order to be protected from adilah uh
[2:17]sins and their likes thus we mentioned last year and also this
[2:26]year in the last lesson we mentioned a bunch of Deeds that
[2:32]protect us against in the last lesson specifically we mentioned Fatima has
[2:44]that effect if someone uh continuously constantly performs foreign then it will
[2:56]protect him from hadila because Imam assadic said what he said to
[3:02]one of the companions he told him that no slave of God
[3:13]has adhered to the Fatima and has ended up as a shaki
[3:19]we said means what it means someone who's unhappy and in this
[3:24]context it means someone who is from the Dwellers of Hellfire because
[3:30]the Dwellers of Hellfire will be afflicted with unbelievable grief unbelievable unhappiness
[3:39]so we understand from the narration of Imam that there's someone constantly
[3:47]performs then it will protect him from deviation it will protect him
[3:53]from deviation throughout his life and especially at the time of death
[3:57]hence when he dies he will not be a disbeliever not be
[4:03]a polytheist or a hypocrite rather he'll be a motman or a
[4:06]momina he'll be a believer in Allah now performing constantly does not
[4:18]mean a person you know performs let us be every single minute
[4:21]in his life no that's not doable rather it means that he
[4:26]takes the habit of performing for example he performs at USB when
[4:36]he wakes up before he goes to sleep and after every Salat
[4:40]this is a person uh this is a person who is adhering
[4:47]he's holding on to this possibly the imam's narration includes a person
[4:53]who performs this once every week possibly right but we understand from
[5:02]the narration of Imam in general that uh the more we attach
[5:11]ourselves to this then the better it will be for us and
[5:14]the safer we will be we will be you know safer from
[5:20]um deviation insha Allah so that was one of the Deeds we
[5:28]mentioned we also mentioned uh we mentioned and how that protects a
[5:38]person from in hadida that being said today inshallah we're going to
[5:42]mention a few other deeds and by now it should be clear
[5:50]that there is what there's a there's a long list of Deeds
[5:52]that protect a person from in hadina and this is truly a
[6:00]manifestation of Allah's Mercy because Allah does not want us to fail
[6:04]the test in this world yes he does want to test us
[6:09]but he wants us to succeed he wants us to pass the
[6:11]test thus Salaam several Deeds many Deeds which protect us from Al
[6:28]hadina for example or he teaches us several Deeds many Deeds that
[6:37]will uh uh cause the the Erasure of our sins or he
[6:43]teaches us many Deeds which uh bring us closer to Allah's Mercy
[6:53]which make us Worthy of receiving Allah's Mercy subhanahu my mercy here
[7:01]I'm talking about special Mercy that the Believers receive and special assistance
[7:06]that the Believers receive from Allah so the first deed we're going
[7:13]to mention today is reciting how color does anyone know what how
[7:22]color is any idea how color is saying so the word refers
[7:47]to that statement it means there is no power nor might except
[7:56]in Allah be exalted the Great how color is a vicar it's
[8:06]an invocation that has many effects or several important effects on a
[8:17]person and is truly one of the you know uh one of
[8:24]the spiritual Treasures greatly stressed on such that you find Imam and
[8:41]Hussein on the day of Ashura performing uh several in fact many
[8:49]times for example when the fight began between the Imam and the
[8:55]Army I mean after the martyrdom of his companions and family members
[9:01]when he was all alone and he was fighting 30 000 individuals
[9:10]at at the beginning was you know uh fighting in an offensive
[9:18]manner as in he was charging at the enemy and attacking although
[9:23]the whole fight was a was a defensive fight was it a
[9:26]defensive battle but the you know the fight continued the battle continued
[9:36]until it became more defensive as in the Imam Ali salaam would
[9:40]wait in a specific spot the enemies would come to him and
[9:45]so he would fight them he wouldn't charge anymore right nonetheless the
[9:51]Hadith says what it says would charge at the enemies and you
[9:58]know strike them kill a bunch of them they would run away
[10:03]from him although he was outnumbered one against thirty thousand when he
[10:08]would attack they would run away from him similar to how a
[10:13]flock of sheep run away from a wolf when the wolf attacks
[10:17]then he would come back he would come back to his you
[10:22]know let me call it his base the location where he would
[10:27]stand before he would charge which was right in front of the
[10:30]the camp the husaini camp when he would come come back he
[10:36]would be saying what is so he uttered that word several times
[10:48]in fact many times on the day of ashwara this Hadith in
[10:52]itself is enough to know the importance of uh it's a very
[10:57]important so what do we need to do exactly to be protected
[11:03]from adilah do we have to keep on saying day and night
[11:09]no no now the more you say it the better but there
[11:11]is a recommended D taught by animal bite which is seven times
[11:25]after and seven times that's it that's it seven times after South
[11:33]and seven times after if you do that how do we know
[11:45]this we know it from a few traditions in the book alcafi
[11:52]let me send you the tradition actually I sent it to you
[11:57]on the chat section these narrations are in alcafi let's read the
[12:15]first tradition says if you remember we said I will see it
[12:35]was one of Imam closest companions man was very knowledgeable because he
[12:41]learned from his imams such that in some traditions Imam assadiq referred
[12:49]certain people to Abu Basir that's how knowledgeable he was foreign [Music]
[13:09]foreign that if a person says in the name of Allah the
[13:26]benefits and the merciful there is no power nor might except in
[13:29]Allah the exalted the great seven times after Salah and after Salat
[13:35]Al Maghrib will push away from this person 70 types or kinds
[13:48]of calamities 70 types or kinds of tragedies and trials can you
[13:56]give us an example of some of these you know calamities he
[14:01]gives what a few examples so he says the easiest or the
[14:15]simplest of these calamities are what Madness actually becoming you know crazy
[14:22]delusional that's a calamity so if you're afraid that you know when
[14:29]you grow old for example you'll become delusional reciting this thicker after
[14:37]Salat seven times of course will protect you from uh becoming delusional
[14:44]rights is leprosy it also protects from lovers leprosy he says and
[14:51]it seems from the context that it's a specific you know illness
[14:59]pertaining to the digestive system which causes you know complications and whatnot
[15:05]so these are examples of the calamities that the Imam is speaking
[15:14]about he's saying these are the slightest the simplest calamities out of
[15:19]the 70 he mentioned foreign [Music] who says that vicar seven times
[15:41]after and after he is unhappy as in he's following the wrong
[15:48]path is on the path of unhappiness the path which leads to
[15:53]Hellfire what will happen will push him to the other path and
[16:00]he'll he'll you know Aid him in a way that he will
[16:06]be on the path of happiness meaning on the right path the
[16:09]path which leads to heaven he says possibly on top of whatever
[16:28]we mentioned Imam assadiq is saying possibly that you know there's a
[16:32]there's a book or a tablet where Allah writes statements so if
[16:40]Allah has written that this specific person is a shaki he's unhappy
[16:45]why did he write this because the person is misbehaving he's committing
[16:50]evil Deeds which will lead him to Hellfire that statement will be
[16:56]erased and the new statement which will be written will be that
[17:06]this person will be happy or this person is happy as in
[17:10]he's on uh the right path the path of happiness okay just
[17:25]give me one second Hamza arrived let me just uh open the
[17:29]door for him I'll be right back just one minute pause the
[17:36]recording okay sorry about that so we were saying that saying Bismillah
[17:50]seven times after and after will do what it will protect the
[17:59]person from because if the person is a shaki so he is
[18:11]um on the wrong path he's on the wrong path on the
[18:17]path of unhappiness so he'll be his his uh unhappiness will be
[18:28]erased they'll be moved from the path of uh falsehood or from
[18:36]the wrong path to the path of Truth which is the path
[18:41]of happiness there is a similar Hadith in al-khafi um which says
[18:53]the same thing except there's a slight difference at the end let
[18:58]me share with you that Hadith so here said the same thing
[19:25]except that he said the following this is the difference with this
[19:31]version of the Hadith after speaking about the 70 calamities or tragedies
[19:40]that are pushed away from the person who says seven times the
[19:50]Imam says the slightest or the simplest of these tragedies are Junoon
[19:55]Madness do them is a disease that would strike people um during
[20:06]the you know ancient times and even during the times and it
[20:12]would basically cause a person to lose his flesh so the the
[20:17]Flesh of the the human being would kind of um start uh
[20:24]breaking into you know tiny pieces and falling off the body um
[20:31]so that they could protect from us leprosy then he says he
[20:48]says that if the person is a shaki if he's someone who's
[20:53]unhappy by now I think it's clear what we mean by unhappy
[20:56]I I will have hope to Imam says that Allah will move
[21:02]that person to what to happiness to the path of happiness So
[21:13]based on the last statement in both versions of the Hadith we
[21:20]can deduce that this vicar leads a person where it leads him
[21:25]to happiness to lead them to heaven if you're that to happiness
[21:31]and you're that to Heaven it means you will not uh you
[21:34]will not give in to the uh you know the Whispers of
[21:41]the devil at the time of death he won't be able to
[21:43]fooled you into disbelieving or even doubting in the truth before you
[21:50]die um Sheikh I have a question when you said baros leprosy
[21:56]what does that mean leprosy yeah of uh illness oh okay yeah
[22:07]thank you I know seven any questions comments objections no uh actually
[22:22]yeah uh aspect Butters I think is that when you have like
[22:27]white hair you don't live that long like everything is white uh
[22:31]your eyebrows your hair it's about us and your skin and those
[22:37]people don't live long is that what but us is uh if
[22:42]you want a detailed uh description of it I can find out
[22:47]for you if you'd like okay I was just wondering I was
[22:51]just you know one okay thank you hi so this is the
[23:02]first teeth okay first deed for today the second deed is quite
[23:14]simple and can be performed in the month of rajab so this
[23:19]one is quite interesting it's a prayer that said mentioned in his
[23:28]book was a great scholar it was from The Descendants it was
[23:40]one of our greatest Maharaja in his book is cites a book
[23:51]called fatelab inad there's a narration there by rasulullah what does the
[23:59]prophet say he mentions a prayer that can be done on the
[24:05]22nd Eve of tonight we're living the eleventh Eve of so 11
[24:12]days from now okay you can perform the Salat on the 22nd
[24:18]Eve of Raja what is the Salat and what is its effect
[24:25]let's hear the narration he says so to perform the prayer you'd
[24:51]have to pray uh Prophet mentions that whoever performs meaning two by
[24:59]two every two of the cards you perform with the shahud and
[25:02]teslie it records in each once seven times and when you finish
[25:16]the prayer you perform salawat Allah Muhammad 10 times and you perform
[25:24]you seek forgiveness from Allah ten times for example you say ten
[25:33]times or ten times if you do that the prophet says whoever
[25:37]does this will be given the following reward Dunya foreign he will
[25:57]not leave the current world known as Adonia until he sees his
[26:01]uh his place in heaven as in he sees where he will
[26:08]reside in heaven that's a good reward right yes question for you
[26:17]so after every two records you say ten times well after that
[26:25]after the eight records okay thanks yes no problem yes sister uh
[26:43]caffeine yes so this is the first reward he will not leave
[26:51]the current world until he sees what where he will reside in
[26:58]heaven so he sees for example the Palaces the the trees the
[27:01]surroundings of that place jayat he'll see where he'll resident happen now
[27:05]if he'll see where he'll reside in heaven it means he's from
[27:10]the Dwellers of Heaven which means he will die as a woman
[27:15]when he dies he will not be a disbeliever or a polytheist
[27:20]or someone who doubts in the truth so he confirms this issue
[27:31]even more he says and when he dies that person will be
[27:37]a Muslim so he won't be an apostate for example he won't
[27:40]be someone who disbelieves in Islam and he will receive the reward
[27:49]of 70 Prophets what is it awesome praying it once will give
[28:02]him that reward as long as he doesn't you know uh uh
[28:08]do a deed which nullifies the prayer later on make sense yeah
[28:16]I'll share yes sister and it can be done right after Elisha
[28:23]well you can wait it's better to wait like a little bit
[28:29]like after midnight you just saying as long as you're doing it
[28:34]on the the eve of the 22nd uh of rajab then you're
[28:41]okay now the the night the night begins with Maghrib and it
[28:46]ends uh according to say this is so uh that being said
[28:53]make sure that you perform the prayer in between those two times
[29:00]thank you so much foreign disbelief right committing this belief or uh
[29:42]becoming a hypocrite God forbid becoming a policiest these you know actions
[29:49]will will this will nullify the the Deeds we're talking about they'll
[29:54]nullify you know this prayer or similar prayers because because if someone
[30:00]performs the Salat right and then after let's say five or ten
[30:04]years he becomes a cafe and he dies as a cafe the
[30:12]Salat will not protect him from from you know from Hell Fire
[30:18]anymore or from certain forms of punishment it will not bring him
[30:22]into heaven because he nullified it through his disbelief correct for for
[30:30]this prayer and also other prayers mentioned by other Deeds which have
[30:39]similar effects these Deeds will lead you to these effects unless you
[30:48]do what you create a blockage which stops the effect from taking
[30:55]place that's what I mean to say and if it's give I've
[30:57]given this example before I'll give it again when you have my
[31:01]thought on fire okay you have a lighter and you're trying to
[31:06]burn a paper diet the the lighter is working so naturally the
[31:11]paper should be what burnt so but if you place a substance
[31:16]which protects the paper from the fire suppose there's a substance that
[31:23]will kind of block the fire say it then even if you're
[31:26]using the lighter the paper will not will not burn anymore because
[31:29]of that substance foreign this is an issue that we need to
[31:36]keep in mind to understand these narrations and their likes what the
[31:40]prophet is saying is that this deed will lead you there that's
[31:43]the natural effect of the deed but if you humans create a
[31:48]blockage which stops the effect then the effect will not happen make
[31:53]sense so here this is where you know taqwa comes in handy
[32:02]being pious why because sins are connected to each other minor sins
[32:07]lead to major sins so if someone gives himself the green light
[32:14]of sinning and he performs these Deeds possibly these deeds will not
[32:22]take effect possibly it depends on what he does and possibly they
[32:26]will take effect right it all depends on what he does and
[32:29]how he behaves um if he gives himself the the green light
[32:35]to sin then his sins ultimately will lead him to what to
[32:43]more sins and those extra sins might lead him to major sins
[32:48]and the major sins might lead him where this belief or hypocrisy
[32:56]or polytheism and that's where he's in ultimate trouble right so we
[33:02]need to do these Amal right these Amal are necessary I'm not
[33:08]saying they're watching right but they're very beneficial but at the same
[33:13]time we need to keep in mind that okay if I do
[33:19]it doesn't mean the test is over and I've succeeded nah I
[33:25]still have to remain Pious because if I fool myself into believing
[33:29]that khalas there's no more need for piety because the prophet said
[33:32]if you do that you're going to see your you know your
[33:36]Palace in heaven your castles in heaven and that that idea might
[33:44]make me lose the palace that rasulullah is talking about it might
[33:49]make you make me lose the reward that he just mentioned makes
[33:53]sense yeah so that's what I meant by we have to watch
[33:57]out from nullifying these These are men here one might say so
[34:10]do we need to be muscle for these Amal to take in
[34:16]fact no the Amal were prescribed for a fallible human beings the
[34:19]masum can't do them obviously right that's that's not a problem but
[34:25]but when rasulullah taught us this deed for example he knew that
[34:30]most of us are fallible and he still said if you do
[34:33]what you will get the following reward so you don't have to
[34:39]be masum for the effect to take place but let's you know
[34:41]try our best to um obey Allah at all times make sense
[34:51]now there's a big difference between someone who justifies his sin he
[34:59]says it's okay what so what if I sin so what if
[35:03]I do this bad deed or that bad deed and a person
[35:07]who says no I won't allow myself to sin but sometimes he
[35:12]falls into it because of you know desire or anger or other
[35:15]reasons the second one is better because his intention is what his
[35:20]intention is to not do it when he wakes up his intention
[35:22]is that today I'm not going to sin at all right Allah
[35:28]if he falls into sin then through tauba he can he can
[35:34]erase the sin and through these Deeds taught by rasulullah he can
[35:37]compensate for his sins any questions about this issue any questions yes
[36:04]it doesn't happen to every human being but in shaytan he he
[36:12]uh he tries to lead us into Adida right yeah he tries
[36:20]to lead us into okay we have one more deep dimension before
[36:35]we take a short break and then have our second uh class
[36:46]the last deed for today is also a Salat but this one
[36:50]is performed in Shaban this one is performed in Shabbat it's also
[37:02]mentioned by and the book and in that beautiful book he shares
[37:16]a narration by rasulullah the prophet mentions a prayer that can be
[37:21]done on the sixth Eve of Shabbat so night six the sixth
[37:29]Eve bear in mind that every night of rajap and every night
[37:36]of Shaban and every night of Sahara Madan has its own recommended
[37:39]Salah some are super easy as in they're not too long and
[37:44]some are quite long so a person you know can do whatever
[37:51]he uh finds himself able to do again these salawat are not
[37:55]wajib they're recommended but they have tremendous effects and Rewards so he
[38:01]says [Music] that on the Eve on the eve of the sixth
[38:24]of Shabbat the sixth Eve of Shabbat one can perform a Salat
[38:33]which consists of four erikas again two by two so at the
[38:39]end of the second you will do the shahada slim he should
[38:46]recite Surat and 50 times this is what this is the exact
[38:58]format of Imam Ali Salat Imam Ali has a Salat which is
[39:03]recommended not worship that's the format for Imam Ali's prayer once 50
[39:11]times four records two by two so the prophet says the person
[39:18]who performs the Salat on the sixth Eve of Shaban when Allah
[39:25]takes that person's soul meaning at the time of death he will
[39:32]take it as the soul dwells Inward and happiness which means that
[39:39]the person will come out of this world as a movement he
[39:42]will not have lost his faith so he'll be said his fate
[39:48]will be a happy faith in the hereafter he will you know
[39:52]dwell in Eternal happiness on top of that he will be comfortable
[40:04]in his grave so his life in the grave will not be
[40:08]a tight life as in it will not be disturbing he won't
[40:10]be in pain he will be comfortable and when he comes out
[40:19]of the grave meaning on the day of Resurrection his faith will
[40:23]resemble the Moon meaning his face will be beautiful awesome and possibly
[40:29]also bright so his face will be beautiful the Arabs when they
[40:35]want to you know present a simile which alludes to Beauty they
[40:43]say this person's face resembles what the Moon or it resembles part
[40:47]of the Moon hence our master was titled kamaru Dani Hashem the
[40:55]moon of Banu Hashem it was extremely beautiful Hassan he says his
[41:05]face resembled part of the Moon why part of the Moon because
[41:10]it was small he was a boy right his face was small
[41:17]so he said his face as if it was part of the
[41:24]Moon so the Hadith says the person will come out of his
[41:26]grave his face will resemble the moon as in his face will
[41:33]be beautiful and he will be saying I testify that there is
[41:38]no God other than Allah and that Muhammad is his slave and
[41:44]messenger so we understand from the narration that the Salat mentioned by
[41:53]rasulullah helps the person when at the time of that and in
[41:57]his grave and at the day of Resurrection alhamdulillah
