[0:28]m in our last lesson we were mentioning an narration by IM
[0:57]where the Imam once again explains what happens at the time of
[1:06]death and the narration basically mentioned that the Believers will experience different
[1:12]issues depending on their piety so the pious believer obviously will see
[1:21]what will make him rejoice and will be in a state uh
[1:23]in a wonderful State the state that other people will wish to
[1:28]have where as the impious believer the one who did not look
[1:36]after his brothers and sisters in faith the one who was somewhat
[1:39]selfish that person's fate will be different and we said that this
[1:45]narration in itself is very important because it reminds us that believing
[1:51]in through our hearts is not enough we need to believe in
[1:58]them that's a given we need to love them it's also a
[2:02]given it's w but on top of that we need to translate
[2:06]our belief in our love for into actions into words and actions
[2:14]so we praise we defend B through our words but we also
[2:21]Implement their teachings we pray we we fast we respect our parents
[2:25]we uphold our ties or preserve our ties with our family members
[2:31]Etc today inshallah we're going to read another tradition also speaking about
[2:39]uh what happens at the time of death and this one is
[2:44]by Imam Abu jaar uh and I told you before when we
[2:46]mention Abu ja when the tradition says that Abu ja said either
[2:53]referring to IM Muhammad albak or IM Muhammad alad both were known
[3:00]as Abu ja yes sometimes uh Imad is called the second AB
[3:11]ja so if you see you'll know it's immad if you don't
[3:18]see a the word aani then it could be alad or could
[3:24]be Al if you have knowledge regarding meaning you studied you know
[3:28]the uh the history of the narrators um then you might be
[3:34]able to pinpoint which Abu jaf were talking about by looking at
[3:39]the person who narrating what Abu ja said make sense nonetheless so
[3:44]we're going to look at that narration and inshallah if we have
[3:47]enough time we want to pose a question regarding the presence of
[3:54]um beside people at the time of death and uh um inah
[4:01]once we post the question we'll also present the answer don't want
[4:03]to PO the question right now and then leave it unanswered but
[4:07]inah if we have enough time we'll pose that question and answer
[4:11]it subhanahu waala so start with the narration naration of IM and
[4:23]we're going to realize that this narration although it is a short
[4:27]one um it contains um very important information similar to any narration
[4:36]given by but on top of that there are certain segments in
[4:42]the narration that need to be uh studied carefully so let me
[4:44]send it to you right so this narration is in who by
[5:11]the way was one of our greatest you hear one day someone
[5:18]you know speaking negatively about know that his words are incorrect was
[5:25]a respected uh scholar and aidite nonetheless he mentions he cites the
[5:34]book Mahin and then he mentions the chain of narrators and Muhammad
[5:41]so a narrator called Muhammad says that he heard Abu saying the
[5:54]following so firstly IM AB or and they're both one light he
[6:05]says fear Allah meaning uphold your duty towards Allah and refrain from
[6:13]sin I want to summarize tawa for your tawa is what to
[6:16]refrain from sin right to refrain from disobeying Allah subhana wa ta'ala
[6:21]but then he says and seek help seek help through what and
[6:28]for what he says so he says seek help through which is
[6:39]piety seek help through or if I want to give a better
[6:47]translation it's abstinence absence from sin and through through exerting effort or
[6:53]all of your effort in obeying Allah subhana wa tala so seek
[6:58]help through these two Deeds and for what he says seek help
[7:08]through those two Deeds so you may remain faithful so you may
[7:12]remain on the path of because the literal translation of is so
[7:23]that you may continue following the path that you are currently on
[7:27]that's the literal translation make sense so here IM is teaching us
[7:41]a very important matter and that is the Good Deeds that we
[7:45]perform and the abstinence of sin when we abstain from sin The
[7:53]Good Deeds we perform and also abstaining from sins these actions uh
[7:58]help us maintain our faith in the truth help us maintain our
[8:04]faith in so imagine this your faith is like fire right when
[8:13]you want to keep the fire ignite it what do you do
[8:19]you add wood or fuel to the fire right if the Fire
[8:26]gets weaker you add fuel to make get stronger s so the
[8:31]same applies to our faith sometimes a person's Faith becomes stronger and
[8:37]sometimes no it becomes weaker and you feel it sometimes you feel
[8:40]that you're gradually drifting away from the path of or you feel
[8:48]that for some reason your faith is becoming weaker that's the case
[8:51]IM tells you what or they say use use obs from sin
[9:02]and and exert effort or all of your effort in obeying Allah
[9:07]subhana T because if you do that it will strengthen your faith
[9:12]so here we understand that there's a strong relationship between beliefs and
[9:20]between practices let's go to the board so we can explain that
[9:25]relationship inshallah Tal so we're looking at what we're looking at beliefs
[9:55]and we're also looking at practices by practices I mean what good
[10:05]deeds Good Deeds whether that good deed is done by actually performing
[10:18]a particular thing like praying or going to Haj or it's done
[10:23]by abstaining from a particular thing or deed like abstaining from drinking
[10:28]wine abstaining from from backbiting abstaining from dancing those are good deeds
[10:34]right when you abstain from what's unlawful you're doing something good you're
[10:38]doing what pleases Allah subhana wa tala so when we say practices
[10:41]we're talking about both the the things that you do and the
[10:47]bad things that you stay away from the bad Deeds you stay
[10:49]away from so there is a strong relationship between beliefs and between
[10:54]practices the beliefs are what they are the essence they are the
[11:07]essence or say the base the foundation of our practices why do
[11:24]we for example uh pray five times a day why will we
[11:30]fast the month of Ramadan in two weeks inshallah subhana wa tala
[11:34]why do we go to ha why do we perform various types
[11:42]of worships yes to worship God which means we believe in God
[11:46]and why do we do these worships the way muhamad did them
[12:05]but I'm looking for a different answer your answer is correct but
[12:08]why do we do it the same way the prophet did it
[12:10]sallallahu alai yes he's the messenger and we believe in him right
[12:18]so we pray five times a day we go to ha we
[12:25]do these Islamic practices because we believe in God and we believe
[12:28]in and we believe in so these practices are a result of
[12:34]our faith of our IM our belief in these uh in God
[12:41]subhana T and his vice jants thus you find that the atheist
[12:45]will not pray five times a day right he won't the Jew
[12:50]will not pray the same way you pray the Christian will not
[12:55]pray the same way you pray yes Jews have their own prayer
[12:57]they have their own Salat Christians have their own prayer as well
[13:01]their own Salat but they don't do it the same way we
[13:05]do it why because they don't believe in muham makees sense all
[13:12]right we perform certain practices uh differently than other uh other Islamic
[13:24]sects right so for example we and other Islamic sects pray but
[13:28]there's a few differences some differences between our prayer and theirs why
[13:33]because we follow because we believed in so we followed their commands
[13:41]and their recommendations regarding Salat in fact regarding all parts of religion
[13:46]make sense so our practices are what they're a result of our
[13:53]beliefs if we didn't actually believe in the truth we didn't believe
[13:58]in Allah then we wouldn't Implement these practices but now we find
[14:08]that the practices affect the beliefs although the beliefs are the foundation
[14:13]they're the base of the practice meaning our practices are built on
[14:17]our beliefs but the practi have an effect on the beliefs and
[14:22]that's what we mentioned earlier so the practices the practices the Islamic
[14:35]practices strengthen our faith or let's say and or help us maintain
[15:01]our faith so they strengthen our faith or they help us maintain
[15:19]the faith maintain our faith in Allah this brings us back to
[15:39]the topic of belittling sins you know we tell some mu who
[15:46]have misunderstandings who have misconceptions regarding the intercession of do not give
[15:55]yourself the green light to commit any sin thinking that you'll be
[16:01]saved on the day of judgment don't do that don't want you
[16:07]to do that yes will intercede for us they are the intercessors
[16:12]inshallah but we have to do our part we have to uh
[16:20]exert effort in obeying we have to try as hard as we
[16:28]can to to do as many Good Deeds as we can so
[16:30]we may ensure that we're saved on the day of judgment or
[16:35]let's say so we may be closer to being saved on that
[16:40]day the M who gives himself the green light to sin thinking
[16:43]that you know what at the end of the day will grab
[16:48]me with his fingers and he'll throw me in heaven he has
[16:52]a misunderstanding because number one aliam was the IM of the pious
[16:58]Ali was the IM of the pious he himself was the embodiment
[17:00]of piety and he wanted us to be Pious number two when
[17:05]someone gives himself the green light to sin and he goes on
[17:12]sinning right and left possibly these sins will lead him to abandoning
[17:17]his faith such that by the end of his life he leaves
[17:20]this world as a cafir as a disbeliever now once he leaves
[17:28]the world as a cafir he will not be saved by anymore
[17:31]right because he's no longer one of his followers he has severed
[17:37]the connection that he used to have with IM Ali and hence
[17:42]he doesn't deserve doesn't deserve intercession in fact he's not even worthy
[17:48]of receiving the intercession of this is one reason why a person
[17:53]should not give himself the green light to sin and we've said
[17:59]it once and we'll say it again there's a big difference between
[18:02]someone who allows himself to sin and someone who who tries his
[18:10]best not to sin but sometimes he falls into sins because of
[18:14]certain weaknesses all right let's continue the tradition so he says here
[18:57]IM is addressing the sh the people who believe in the people
[19:05]who follow their teachings he's saying when one of you when one
[19:13]of you oh our followers reaches the brink of the Hereafter meaning
[19:18]he's what he's about to die so he's about to enter the
[19:21]Hereafter and he gets to a point where his worldly uh uh
[19:29]uh matters are detached from him why because he's about to die
[19:34]he says when he reaches that point when one of you reaches
[19:41]that point he experiences what he experiences the most intense type of
[19:50]Happiness most intense why because he sees heaven and he's told that
[19:59]this is where you're going to be you will dwell here he
[20:03]as they're pleased with him but again we're talking about who the're
[20:08]talking about the the pious M the pious believer and so the
[20:17]IM says one that believer reaches that point point where he's about
[20:35]to leave D he's about to leave this low world and he's
[20:38]going to enter the world of the Hereafter at that point he
[20:45]will know that he is going to dwell in Bliss and that
[20:53]he will be honored by Allah subhanahu waala and he will also
[21:02]be given Glad Tidings that he will um enter Heaven or he
[21:08]will know that he will be given those glot Tidings in fact
[21:13]the Traditions are very clear that at the time of that he's
[21:16]he's uh he's given those GL Tidings he's given the good news
[21:19]that he will be from the Dwellers of heaven then he says
[21:26]at that point as well the believer will feel safe from the
[21:32]one he used to fear who would the believer fear Allah subhana
[21:40]tala right meaning he would fear Allah's punishment at that point he
[21:47]will know that he has nothing to to fear anymore because Allah
[21:51]has decreed to make him from the Dwellers of heaven so he'll
[21:56]feel safe from the punishments of Godel then he says and at
[22:06]that point the believer um becomes certain he feels certainty experience it
[22:14]certainty he becomes certain that he was on the right path that
[22:19]he was on the path of Truth and he also becomes certain
[22:27]that those who followed a path different than his path were on
[22:33]a path of misguidance and as a result they were following a
[22:38]path that leads a person to Doom he becomes certain at that
[22:47]point and this obviously brings a question to mind isn't a Believer
[22:51]supposed to be certain that he's on the truth before he passes
[22:56]away he should right shouldn't we have certainty from now that we
[23:03]we are on the path of Truth or is it that we
[23:07]should wait we should wait until we die and then at that
[23:09]point we'll see if we're actually following the truth or not which
[23:15]of the two the first we should know from now we should
[23:19]have certainty from now that we are following the truth we're on
[23:26]the path of Truth and we are path of Truth is the
[23:29]path muham that's the case then why does IM or say that
[23:38]when the believer is about to die he about to enter the
[23:42]Hereafter he becomes becomes certain that he's on the path of Truth
[24:03]beautiful so basically basically the Imam is telling us that at the
[24:12]time of death the believer's certainty reaches a higher level so when
[24:17]you are in adun when the believer is in adun he knows
[24:23]that he's following the path of Truth he knows it how does
[24:28]he know because of proofs and evidence there are logical quranic and
[24:35]ntional proofs confirming our beliefs beautiful but when we're about to die
[24:41]and we see and he tells us you know well done you're
[24:44]you're going to be from the Dwellers of Heaven you have nothing
[24:50]to fear you see and they're all proud of you they're pleased
[24:58]with you your certainty reaches a higher level which is normal it's
[25:04]normal for us to go through these changes where our certainty reaches
[25:11]higher levels all right so that's what the Imam is saying when
[25:15]he says he doesn't mean to say that previously the believer was
[25:19]not faithful or was not certain no he was certain that he
[25:25]was on the right path but at the time of death his
[25:27]certainty reach the higher level this is where we go to the
[25:32]board once again to understand the different types of certainty the different
[25:38]types of certainty uh that one may experience and that Al Quran
[25:45]Kim mentions all right let's go to the board once again so
[26:24]now we're looking at y Al y which means certainty bear in
[26:38]mind that one of the words used in reference of death is
[26:42]y okay so sometimes we mention death and we call it for
[26:50]example when we visitus you recite you tell the IM right so
[27:07]you testify for the IM that he upheld various types of worships
[27:14]various types of practices and you say until until what reached you
[27:21]here y means mouth meaning until you passed away sorry for interrupting
[27:28]but if it's possible just to adjust the camera a bit it's
[27:31]hard to see what's we on the board yes no problem I
[27:40]perfect thank is that better yes way better okay come on bye
[27:50]let me also change the angle of the camera is it still
[28:02]good Jam yes okay so regarding certainty we have three levels of
[28:09]certainty three levels number one we have what we call number two
[28:21]we have in number three we perhaps you've heard of these perhaps
[28:35]you haven't supposing that you have which of the three is the
[28:41]strongest type of okay so the first is the lowest is higher
[28:55]than is a higher type of certainty than than than and the
[29:03]highest is yeah but there are all types of certainty so what's
[29:14]the difference let's start with if you remember pretty sure many of
[29:22]you have it memorized Allah subh mentions these two in so what
[29:37]does that mean means that you have certainty in a particular being
[29:45]or a particular thing and your certainty is based on evidence but
[29:51]you have not witnessed that thing in which you're certain so you
[29:58]have evidence that something exists hence you have certainty in it but
[30:03]you haven't witnessed it with your eyes like what usually the scholars
[30:07]give this example regarding fire they say if there's a fire and
[30:14]you don't see fire but you see smoke based on the smoke
[30:19]you'll be certain that there is a fire you haven't seen the
[30:22]fire yet you haven't seen the fire but because smoke indicates that
[30:26]the fire is present you'll be certain that the fire is present
[30:33]that's what whereas is the certainty you have in a particular thing
[30:43]or being when you actually see it with your eyes that's so
[30:48]going back to the example of the fire if you actually see
[30:54]the fire you don't only see the smoke you see the fire
[30:57]itself s you'll be certain that the fire exists but now supposing
[31:02]that you saw the smoke before um now your your certainty will
[31:07]reach a higher level when you see the smoke you'll be at
[31:13]when you see the fire you'll because now you're seeing the fire
[31:17]so you don't need the smoke anymore you're seeing the actual thing
[31:26]make sense so you won't be looking at you won't be looking
[31:31]for the effects of the fire anymore why look for the effects
[31:36]when you're actually seeing the fire you're seeing you're seeing the thing
[31:44]itself you know there's this story where one of im's uh close
[31:52]companions named Ahmed he sees IM brings IM when he's a young
[32:05]boy and he shows him toed so after seeing IM Ali with
[32:13]his own two eyes he asks for an additional sign that would
[32:16]you know support the imamate of Im so IM M speaks at
[32:23]that point and he tells ahed meaning ahed you're seeing the IM
[32:34]right in front of you you don't need any more signs you
[32:36]don't need any more you know traces or effects you're seeing the
[32:42]Im so going back to topic is a type of certainty that's
[32:49]higher than because when you have you're actually witnessing that thing in
[32:56]which you have certainty that thing that you're certain of is that
[33:07]clear all right what about we said is the highest type of
[33:15]Y the type of certainty and that is when you are dwelling
[33:21]inside the thing that you're certain of all right so you're certain
[33:29]in the existence of a particular being or a particular thing you're
[33:37]not only seeing that thing rather you're in it so here your
[33:42]certainty in that thing reaches the highest level going back to you
[33:49]know fire we said if you see the smoke without seeing the
[33:54]fire you will have if you see the fire fire itself you
[33:57]will have what if you're inside the fire you're getting burnt by
[34:06]the fire you have now your certainty in the presence of the
[34:09]fire reaches a higher level because you're in it you're being burnt
[34:12]by the fire itself so if I wanted to give a theological
[34:24]example let's think about heaven right now the Believers have regarding heaven
[34:33]and regarding Hellfire because we have truths we have quranic proofs and
[34:38]the rational proofs confirming the existence of heaven and hellfire so we
[34:42]have regarding what regarding Heaven and Hell on the day of judgment
[34:47]when we see heaven inshallah and we see Hell Fire we will
[34:56]be at as we're seeing it and when we dwell inside heaven
[35:03]in will be now imagine if you know you're in heaven and
[35:08]some atheist comes up to you that's not going to happen I'm
[35:14]saying imagine and he tells you are you sure Heaven exists you'd
[35:17]laugh at him you're inside heaven you're inside of it J so
[35:24]your certainty in heaven has reached a very high level you're no
[35:29]longer at you're not even at because you're in it you're living
[35:33]the Bliss and the mercy the joy of Heaven clear come on
[35:49]I'll give one more example I like to give many examples as
[35:55]many examples as possible to clarify the the topic or the subject
[35:59]that we are tackling regarding do we believe in Mal yes or
[36:07]no we believe in do we have certainty in him yes we
[36:10]do because of and the narration of now when the time of
[36:17]death arrives and I see Mal right in front of me here
[36:18]my certainty in Mal will rise right now I'm at when I
[36:26]see him I'll be at I've seen him or maybe even because
[36:35]he will pull my soul out of my body so I will
[36:40]feel the effects of M H here of course we remember before
[36:57]I continue see how much time we have left now we have
[37:01]time we remember the word of which is a mesmerizing word when
[37:09]he says if the curtain was lifted for me my certainty would
[37:21]not increase is not you know simply talking in a poetic manner
[37:31]he's mentioning reality that this is part of reality the certainty of
[37:37]is at an extreme level of certainty such that if the curtain
[37:47]was lifted his certainty would not would not increase possibly here when
[37:51]he says if the curtain was lifted he's talking about um witnessing
[37:56]the the the Affairs and the incidents of the day of judgment
[38:03]so it's as if he's saying if you know the day of
[38:10]judgment begins and I witness everything that the people witness on that
[38:12]day and he will witness them he will witness the incidents and
[38:16]the the Affairs of the of the day of judgment if that
[38:20]were to happen my certainty would not increase so the certainty of
[38:29]am was uh was beyond imagination the level of certainty they had
[38:36]was beyond imagination y we have a question here by Sister Zab
[39:05]brother M is also uh sister Z brother M is also mentioned
[39:14]in the Quran somewhere similar to the other types of Y yes
[39:19]it's mentioned inah mentioned inah over there we find mentioning all right
[39:40]so we're going to go to the board again once again to
[39:46]tackle a question that I promised to present Allah subhana tala so
[40:06]let's erase the board and then we'll see we'll hear the question
[40:12]and answer it up until now we''ve uh read more multiple narrations
[40:28]regarding the presence of uh beside the believer at the time of
[40:35]death okay and we've we've said that anyone who passes away even
[40:44]if that person is a maaf even if he's a he's what
[40:47]hypocrite even if he's atheist or a disbeliever he Witnesses here a
[40:57]question comes to mind which is sometimes multiple people die at once
[41:05]at the same time you might have someone dying in the East
[41:13]someone dying in the west at the same time or mean you
[41:17]have a community a society that's bombed then you have tens or
[41:21]hundreds or maybe even thousands of people dying at once so the
[41:27]question that usually comes to mind when reading these narrations is how
[41:33]can be at different places at the same time all right if
[41:41]someone mean is a and he passes away let's say in the
[41:47]Traditions tell us that are going to be present beside him they're
[41:52]going to be present and in some traditions some Traditions tell us
[41:57]that some of them some of the members of speak to that
[42:00]individual all right then again if a cafir a disbeliever let's say
[42:09]passes away in Las Vegas okay he will also see um obviously
[42:18]they will not be pleased with him but he will see them
[42:22]so that question comes to mind how can be in different places
[42:27]and not the same time the question stems from where it stems
[42:32]from us comparing ourselves to number one and also comparing to number
[42:39]two so I repeat usually you'll compare yourself to I can't be
[42:46]in two places at once right so that question will come to
[42:55]mind how can how can how can be in various places at
[42:58]the same time that's number one number two We compare to this
[43:05]low world to the world of the Hereafter so what do you
[43:10]think before I give you my own answers um what do you
[43:16]think how can we answer this question your brother yes that or
[43:47]so the more Iman the more belief I have in IM ali
[43:52]uh the more belief I have in him the more connection I
[43:58]will have with the IM okay okay abdah okay MH okay so
[44:27]basically you're you're telling us so long that we believe that can
[44:34]collect the souls of of people and he does collect the souls
[44:38]of people and he's obviously present beside that person that's passing away
[44:44]if we can believe in that that why can't we believe that
[44:48]can be in multiple places at once right that's your answer J
[44:53]any other point or answer which guy oh the IM we don't
[45:09]want to say guy the IM let me present a few points
[45:17]that will help us understand this issue okay that will help us
[45:21]answer the question and understand this issue so the question is how
[45:46]can B how can be in different places say at the same
[46:08]time so again I'm going to present multiple points inshallah by the
[46:15]end of this session after we understand the points we're going to
[46:18]present uh I'm not going to say it will be clear for
[46:24]us how are present no we we will not have a clear
[46:28]idea on how they do it but we will know that this
[46:33]is possible it's not impossible for to be beside for example the
[46:41]M who's passing away in and at the same time to be
[46:44]beside let's say that kafir as they're displeased with him of course
[46:48]who's passing away in Las Vegas or to be beside multiple people
[46:54]at once I'm going to present multiple points that will clarify this
[46:58]issue inshallah number one we have to remember that Allah subhanahu wa
[47:16]supports and he meaning Allah is able to do anything so they're
[47:34]backed by God they're supported by Allah and Allah has unlimited power
[47:40]he's able to do anything when you know they're coming to different
[47:46]people who are passing away at the same time or they're present
[47:52]beside them at the same time are given Power by Allah subhanahu
[47:58]wa ta'ala to do that to be present beside these people who
[48:05]are passing away at the same time we always have to remember
[48:18]that the powers that are given or were given they were given
[48:24]to them by God Allah is the one who aided them and
[48:29]continues to Aid them and I'll be very blunt we don't know
[48:38]we don't know how much power Allah has given them you know
[48:44]we don't know the full reality of who are they and what
[48:48]were they given yes we know certain things that they were given
[48:55]by Allah but then again there are some Secrets or many secrets
[49:01]that have that we don't know about that we don't know that's
[49:05]number one number two one cannot compare this low world to in
[49:45]what sense in the sense that they're different yes they do share
[49:49]similarities definitely there are similarities between and right for example in heaven
[49:59]there's food and in there's food as well In Heaven There are
[50:02]there are drinks in adun there are drinks as well but there's
[50:06]a difference there's a big difference between the food of Heaven the
[50:10]drinks of Heaven and the food and drinks in this world one
[50:15]difference for example is that food uh is completely Hal right whereas
[50:21]the food we have here some is halal some is Haram some
[50:25]is lawful some is unlawful the same applies to the drinks number
[50:29]two the foods and drinks of heaven will never harm you yes
[50:35]go ahead in heaven yes yes there is wine in heaven that's
[50:42]different than the wine we have here and obviously that wine is
[50:46]Hal but that wine one difference between that kind of wine and
[50:52]the wine we have inun uh is that the wine of Heaven
[50:57]does not intoxicate you it does not intoxicate the human being another
[51:02]difference is which should be quite obvious the wine of Heaven is
[51:06]not impure and obviously is not um disgusting the wine in is
[51:14]disgusting you know it from the smell aldah we don't drink wine
[51:18]sometimes you know when you're on the airplane people drink beside you
[51:22]unfortunately so the scent of the wine of adun is is disturbing
[51:28]but the scent of the wine of Heaven obviously will not be
[51:35]disturbing because there's nothing disturbing in heaven so um I was saying
[51:42]that another difference is that the the the foods and the drinks
[51:45]of of Heaven they don't harm you you won't get a tummy
[51:52]ache for example if you uh if you eat the food in
[51:54]heaven if you consume the the drinks of heaven but in you
[52:00]might sometimes receive tummy aches because of the food or the drinks
[52:04]that you've consumed so when we say one cannot compare to we
[52:10]mean to say that you have to remember is a different world
[52:15]it has its own laws yes it does share certain similarities with
[52:20]a dun but then again it's also a different world if if
[52:26]we understand this point then um we won't um find it uh
[52:34]farfetched or too farfetched to say that can be present beside multiple
[52:45]people at once when those individuals are passing away because we don't
[52:51]know the laws regarding we don't know how that world actually works
[53:33]number three we have worldly examples meaning examples pertaining to our world
[53:53]the world of adun that help us understand and please focus on
[54:07]the word help that help us understand this issue meaning how can
[54:18]be in different places at once one of those examples is the
[54:31]Sun and also the moon so two examples actually the Sun and
[54:41]the Moon these are examples that help us understand the issue we're
[54:46]talking about how so well look at the sun um when the
[54:52]Sun is up J people who dwell in different locations different places
[54:58]on the planet witness the Sun so for example the people of
[55:07]let's say Toronto they see the sun they see it can they
[55:10]say that the the sun is you know present in our location
[55:16]yes they can s it's not super close but it's there so
[55:19]it's present the people of Windsor can do the same the people
[55:25]of monal can say the same so we realize that there's one
[55:30]son but people who dwell in different locations on Earth see it
[55:38]at the same time they witness it at the same time and
[55:42]all those people witnessing it can say that the sun is present
[55:50]wherever we are again it's all super close but it's there the
[55:55]same applies to the the moon the same applies to the Moon
[56:02]people who are you know in different parts of the world who
[56:06]are kilometers or thousands of kilometers apart will witness the moon at
[56:12]the same time and each person will be able to tell you
[56:15]that you know what the moon is present it is here so
[56:21]that's one example another example is the you know devices and the
[56:46]applications that humans have invented today through our laptops through our phones
[57:05]our iPhones our Samsung Galaxies and through the applications we have like
[57:11]Skype or Cisco WebEx or Whatsapp video Call Etc Jed through these
[57:22]devices and applications were able to um be at different places at
[57:26]once for example right now right now this class is being viewed
[57:35]by you the people who are in Windsor and people who are
[57:39]in Toronto and monal and possibly also other locations in Canada at
[57:44]the same time they're all witnessing this humble save over here physically
[57:50]I'm where in Windsor but there's another me in Toronto Another Me
[57:54]In in mon yes it's a virtual form of myself but it's
[58:01]me say it's an image sure no problem but at the end
[58:06]of the day I'm somehow in different places at once physically I'm
[58:09]only I'm only in one place but in the virtual world through
[58:15]the virtual world I'm also in other locations at the same time
[58:23]so the person who's let's say in Germany and he's talking to
[58:32]his relatives in Canada and in China and in Lebanon at the
[58:35]same time via Skype or via WhatsApp uh technically he's in different
[58:41]places at once physically he's in Germany but virtually he's also in
[58:47]Canada in China and in Lebanon make sense so here someone might
[58:55]tell tell me you mean to tell us that they're in heaven
[59:00]and they're going to for example use a particular application and that's
[59:04]how they're going to appear beside people no I'm not saying that
[59:08]I'm not saying that I'm just saying that these issues help us
[59:13]understand they give us more insight or more clarity on how can
[59:22]be present in different places at once in better terms they give
[59:32]us a better idea on how this can actually take place although
[59:36]as I told you uh we don't actually know how they do
[59:42]it we don't know we don't know the laws of yes we
[59:49]have some information about about the Hereafter because of what might have
[59:55]said and what the Quran has said but even then remains uh
[60:03]to be part of the Unseen part of the world of the
[60:09]Unseen which means we still have much to discover regarding the world
[60:17]of the Hereafter so this is the third point the fourth and
[60:21]last point I think I've exceeded my time limit today forgive me
[60:27]for that yes we've exceeded the time limit anyways the fourth and
[60:32]last point is remembering the angel of death inah we're going to
[60:40]have lessons about is when we understand or we have a better
[60:46]understanding regarding who is it will help us understand uh how can
[60:49]be in different places at once so the fourth point is remember
[61:01]the angel of death why does help us understand this issue more
[61:16]because he himself is responsible of collecting The Souls of every human
[61:21]being J yes he does have workers that work under him but
[61:27]he's responsible of collecting The Souls of everyone in the East and
[61:31]the West so once we study we understand who this Angel is
[61:42]what are his roles it will help us understand how can be
[61:48]in multiple places at the same time alhamdulillah
