[0:00]foreign foreign foreign Muhammad the master of the movie occurred and last
[1:36]few days of the holy month of rajab specifically on the 25th
[1:41]of the holy month also at about the same time as the
[1:51]wafat of Abu Talib foreign and defended him until the last minute
[2:13]of his life we'll be talking a little bit about both of
[2:18]their lives in light of the Ayah that we just recited from
[2:28]work the Ayah once we discuss it in sha Allah sheds light
[2:35]about building the Islamic character the Ayah gives descriptions or characteristics of
[2:46]because the Ayah just before with Allah says in a paradise basically
[3:03]of your lord and I'm paraphrasing the Ayah that has been prepared
[3:09]for them now what are some of the characteristics and the attributes
[3:13]that's what Ayah is talking about before I get into the Ayah
[3:19]it's important to know that in Islam a special attention is paid
[3:24]to the building of the society and to the benefit and the
[3:29]advantage of the society as opposed to the individual for example before
[3:33]few verses before this verse from Surat Ali Imran that talks about
[3:39]the and some of their descriptions Allah talks about interest foreign trust
[3:48]are non-believers why because interest is something that only serves an individual
[3:55]whether this individual is a person or whether it's a corporation it's
[4:02]for the interest of this Corporation the recent collapse we saw not
[4:06]too many not two years not not too many years ago a
[4:08]few years ago the recent collapse of the whole system the financial
[4:15]system from which until today until today you read in the news
[4:20]some major countries they're waiting for bailout until today and other countries
[4:25]are waiting for bailout entire economy is collapsed some countries failed an
[4:33]entire country the economy of a country failed several Banks and institutions
[4:37]were gone millions of people were forced to go on the streets
[4:46]literally their homes were taken away why I mean if you think
[4:51]about it what does it boil down to if you think about
[4:58]it somebody giving a loan with interest and he doesn't care what
[5:02]happens to your business what happens to your life I don't care
[5:06]at the end of the day you're gonna have to make these
[5:10]payments if anything doesn't happen if the payment doesn't come call us
[5:15]you're gone whereas the Islamic system for example now I'm not here
[5:17]to talk about the financial system this is just you know an
[5:21]example one day I gave a whole TV interview about the Islamic
[5:25]Financial system it was about half an hour long they wanted to
[5:28]discuss How could a bank have no interest how does that work
[5:33]and in simple terms it's called the system means the bank becomes
[5:39]a partner becomes a partner and the venture so when it becomes
[5:46]a partner it doesn't just give blind loans like what happened a
[5:49]few years ago anybody who comes tick tick I don't care does
[5:55]the bank does do its homework no I don't really care because
[5:59]you have to pay the money and if you don't then khalas
[6:01]will take your house away and that's what happened I still remember
[6:05]a few years ago when the crisis that was at its peak
[6:10]I still remember I read in the newspaper one million homes were
[6:14]foreclosed and one country alone one major country one million homes and
[6:18]one month in one month one million were taken away I mean
[6:24]no wonder that crisis was so severe and until today they're still
[6:27]trying to recuperate the world is trying to recuperate because people are
[6:33]giving Lending don't care whereas when a person or the bank or
[6:36]the institution becomes a partner then they'll say you know what let's
[6:40]study this a bit more carefully this business you're doing or this
[6:46]house you're buying or whatever it is you're doing you know because
[6:49]now I'm a partner if you win I will win if you
[6:54]lose I will also lose but if it's a situation where if
[6:57]you win you'll have to pay me and if you lose you
[7:00]still have to pay me so why should I care that is
[7:03]the interest that's the Reba system the interest Islam comes to say
[7:10]this does not serve the need of the society at large it
[7:16]serves the needs and the interests of a certain individual those who
[7:21]are rich will become richer and those who are cool will become
[7:23]poorer and if you take a look at the statistics today these
[7:28]days I mean read the newspapers these days those of you who
[7:30]follow the newspapers look at the debt ratios masha'allah on the rise
[7:36]here in this country in this country the debt ratio is rising
[7:40]to an alarming rate where some analysts now say even the house
[7:44]market might collapse everything might collapse because of this issue the new
[7:49]graduates for example new people who graduate the average debt is about
[7:52]nineteen thousand dollars people who graduate from University these days and within
[8:00]six months interest starts they have to start paying interest now to
[8:04]pay back these loans nineteen thousand dollars they say that they did
[8:10]the statistics this was in the news yesterday statistics they say the
[8:14]graduates are a bit optimistic about paying back the loans they're optimistic
[8:18]they say we can pay back the loans within five years but
[8:20]he said in reality it doesn't take that you know takes longer
[8:24]than that longer than five years to pay back all these loans
[8:27]Islam came to say this is a system that only benefits certain
[8:34]individuals certain organizations certain groups are getting richer the debt ratio is
[8:39]rising this does not serve the whole society at Large and that's
[8:43]why Islam comes and says you have to look at what the
[8:49]society benefits what the society gets Advantage from not just the individual
[8:54]and so when it states its laws they are for the benefit
[9:02]of the individual and also the benefit of the society here in
[9:09]these verses talking about the building of the character of the Islamic
[9:15]character of the individual because once the individual builds himself becomes built
[9:20]becomes a decent citizen becomes a Pious individual then that will be
[9:28]reflected on the society and if the society does the same thing
[9:31]then perfect you have a perfect Society a society like at the
[9:37]time of rasulullah in Medina and in Mecca when he became the
[9:40]head of the state that Society was elevated at the end to
[9:45]a society where people had peace security some of the shop owners
[9:52]did not need to close down their shops there's no need to
[9:55]there were no thieves nobody no thieves around so it was a
[10:02]perfect Society what they call Al Madina that's the term they use
[10:06]the honorable society which is basically the society inshallah that will happen
[10:12]again when our Imam appears Sharif so this is what Islam looks
[10:18]like building the Islamic character this Ayah speaks about some of the
[10:23]important characteristics an individual must have so that he can build himself
[10:26]and in turn build a society what are they let's take a
[10:33]look at them Allah says those who spend at the time of
[10:44]ease and at the time of difficulty at the time of ease
[10:52]and the time of difficulty they spend now at the time of
[10:58]ease people can understand okay somebody has money he spends money he
[11:05]gives generous people they give and that's something that's mandated but basically
[11:20]they funneled out to one thing they say whenever you see a
[11:25]poor person it is because there is some rich man who is
[11:28]not paying his dues that is a very nice simplification of the
[11:37]poverty in the world the financial system of the world very really
[11:40]nice if you would think about one sentence if all the rich
[11:45]people in the world were to pay their Charities were to think
[11:49]of the others you would not have a single poor person in
[11:52]Africa alone 300 million people live below the poverty line people who
[11:59]live off one dollar a day I went to Africa and I
[12:04]met such people they make one dollar a day some make two
[12:06]dollars a day that's it so in the whole month they make
[12:11]thirty dollars or sixty dollars and the whole month think about it
[12:16]sixty dollars I mean if you give somebody an allowance these days
[12:21]sixty dollars your child will tell you what is this you know
[12:23]I can't even buy chewing gum with sixty dollars these days you
[12:27]know so that's how much a family lives off in some parts
[12:33]of the world today they're thinking about solving energy you know there
[12:41]is an interesting map if you go one day maybe right now
[12:43]to the internet afterwards not now and don't leave the messages now
[12:45]after the match list you go and you search the energy map
[12:52]of the world see where there is most light and when there
[12:56]is lace light places where they have electricity and places where they
[12:59]don't have electricity you'll see for example certain countries in the world
[13:04]they glow lots of electricity and there are certain countries in the
[13:08]world that are complete darkness complete darkness they don't have electricity they
[13:13]don't have anything and some people now are saying you know this
[13:16]is not fair we should have a whole distribution but then they
[13:20]think they're thinking how can we support also this much electricity if
[13:23]there were to generate so much electricity and use so much electricity
[13:26]how you're going to generate that much electricity to support it nonetheless
[13:31]if people were to share this wealth then we would not have
[13:35]such a huge problem in the world today but unfortunately people take
[13:39]and take and take and take and don't give so they give
[13:43]at the time of ease and at the time of difficulty now
[13:47]at the time of difficulty one wonders how could one give at
[13:50]the time of difficulty well first of all nothing is too small
[13:55]and the eyes of Allah nothing sometimes a person if he can
[14:00]afford only one cent that scent and the eyes of Allah is
[14:04]not too little that's how much he can afford one penny we
[14:10]have many many in masha'allah when there is a need for people
[14:15]for example who who need in some impoverished countries we have many
[14:19]meaning who come forward and they give some give a little bit
[14:24]some give more some give less but each one is giving what
[14:26]he can afford or what she can afford and the eyes of
[14:30]Allah this is all great and sometimes the person who gives one
[14:37]dollar might earn more than the one giving 100 dollars the one
[14:43]who gives one dollar maybe all he has in his pocket is
[14:46]ten dollars he's giving ten percent but the one who gives a
[14:48]hundred maybe he has ten thousand he's not giving the same ratio
[14:55]so that is what Allah is trying to say that in the
[14:59]society nothing is too small give try to train yourselves to give
[15:04]the second thing is giving is not necessarily just money sometimes because
[15:11]it's the most precious to the person a person loves money you
[15:14]know difficult to give it away but there are other things sometimes
[15:19]people give away their time sometimes people give away their wealth sometimes
[15:25]people give away their lives he did not have much money he
[15:31]was not a rich man yet after his father he became the
[15:38]head of quraish he became the leader and he used to spend
[15:43]whatever he can afford it is said that when the hajjad used
[15:46]to come for Hajj because people used to come to Hajj even
[15:49]before Islam the non-believers Mecca was a sacred place to people of
[15:56]Arabia so people used to stop in Makkah for pilgrimage at the
[16:04]time of pilgrimage views to feed people from zamzam the water of
[16:09]zamzam The Well of zamzam he used to give them water but
[16:13]because the water of zamzam it comes from a well and because
[16:16]it doesn't taste very pure it's not a pure water it comes
[16:20]from a well so there's some salt taste to it he used
[16:24]to mix it with dates and with raisins so that the judge
[16:30]those pilgrims who come they feel the sweetness of the dates and
[16:33]he that's how what he used to give to the hajjas not
[16:37]just water by itself he quenches their thirst and he also feeds
[16:41]them one year he didn't have much money so he went to
[16:44]his brother Abbas and he told him lend me ten thousand Dirhams
[16:47]so then I can buy the dates and the raisins he gave
[16:51]him the money he said inshallah by next year I'll give it
[16:53]back to you through the year he couldn't he couldn't make enough
[16:58]money so he came back to his brother again he said brother
[17:02]I don't have the money but again I need more money for
[17:06]the judge I don't want to leave them so lend me another
[17:11]14 000 Dirham last year you gave me 10 this year I
[17:14]need 14.
[17:14]he said this time I'll give you the money but with one
[17:17]condition he said what he said if you don't pay me back
[17:21]by next year then next year I will be giving the secret
[17:24]I'll be feeding the hajjaj it's an honor to free the judge
[17:27]even back then and one day inshaallah we'll talk about do you
[17:34]make the feeding of the judge from The Well of zamzam and
[17:39]the keys to the cab holding the keys to the Kaaba is
[17:41]that equivalent to the one who believed in Allah and migrated in
[17:45]the path of Allah that is something that's a very interesting story
[17:49]inshallah one day we'll talk about it in the future was something
[17:54]honorable amen something of Honor Abdel AB used to do it and
[18:00]then his son Abu Talib inherited it said if you don't give
[18:04]me back my money within the year then I will take that
[18:07]from you that task I'll perform it he said agreed if I
[18:11]don't give you back the money next year you feed the judge
[18:15]and indeed he didn't afford the money so next year that zakaya
[18:18]was transferred to so even when he didn't have money he still
[18:27]went and tried to give to give when the people of quraish
[18:33]decided to boycott the Muslims in the Valley of the sheb of
[18:43]Abu Talib and that Valley they put them there at night every
[18:48]night now they stayed some people say they stayed in that Valley
[18:51]for two years some say three years what he used to do
[18:56]is in that Valley at night when everybody goes to sleep he
[19:04]would not and then he would make sure everyone is asleep then
[19:08]he goes he tells the prophet he tells him or my nephew
[19:16]get up wake up and he wakes up his son his own
[19:20]son he tells you go sleep and Muhammad's bed or Muhammad is
[19:27]basically area and you Muhammad you come and sleep in my son's
[19:29]place why just in case somebody from the people of the Muslims
[19:38]his heart softens a little bit oh he gets fooled a little
[19:47]bit by money or one of them comes in at night and
[19:51]he wants to kill the prophet they wouldn't kill the prophet they
[19:53]would kill his son he will tell him you saved the prophet
[19:58]so you sleep in his place every night people wouldn't know he
[20:03]waits everybody goes to sleep and then he wakes up he tells
[20:07]the prophet to come and sleep in Imam Ali's place and Imam
[20:09]Ali goes and sleeps in the prophet's place since that day from
[20:16]that day and he tells him he tells his son my son
[20:20]you have to protect this man you have to protect him and
[20:23]we have to protect him so he gave whatever he could I
[20:29]mean what's more precious than one's own son he gave it he
[20:33]wanted he was ready to give him away for the sake of
[20:37]the holy prophet and for The Message of Islam to stay alive
[20:42]after all this people still come and say he was not a
[20:45]Muslim I mean the man who is giving away his own son
[20:48]so that the message stays alive what else do you want and
[20:52]how else can somebody affirm his tawheed and one of his prophets
[21:00]he tells the pro in one of his poetry he tells the
[21:02]prophet he says Muhammad Anthony you are the prophet Muhammad he says
[21:20]you are the Prophet Muhammad muhammadu I mean what is the difference
[21:27]between this and between saying what is the difference when he says
[21:31]you are the prophet so what is the difference but you have
[21:37]some people the poor man his fault is that he is the
[21:39]father that's that's his fault that's his crime otherwise if he was
[21:45]the father of so and so people would have elevated him but
[21:49]because he's the father of Ali how can you go and attack
[21:56]Ali you can't there is nothing wrong in this man he's perfect
[22:00]did he prostrate to uh an idol no he didn't since his
[22:06]childhood he prostrated to Allah and all Muslims agreement may Allah bless
[22:11]his face because he never prostrated to an idol so he never
[22:15]did that okay what can you do here the first man to
[22:17]believe the first person to believe in rasulullah okay what can you
[22:20]do he's the first person to believe him then they came okay
[22:23]he's the first child to believe in rasulullah then we have the
[22:26]first man and then we have the first woman well who was
[22:29]the first person person to believe in rasulullah and then he is
[22:35]the hero always with rasulullah he is the one who slept in
[22:37]the prophet's bed he's the one whom the prophet made him his
[22:40]brother he's the one who were fought in bedok and so once
[22:41]where can you attack him nothing so where can we go let's
[22:46]go to the father that's that's the part his father was not
[22:50]a Muslim but the other man's father he was a Muslim nonetheless
[22:56]anyone the man is saying you are the Prophet Muhammad lots of
[23:04]poetry those of you are interested I have a book of the
[23:08]Poetry he used to recite many cases and many occasions he would
[23:11]say that we will defend this prophet he will defend this Muhammad
[23:15]with our lives so he gave he gave everything he had he
[23:24]gave his money for the sake of Allah he was willing to
[23:29]give his son for the sake of Allah he gave his life
[23:34]for the sake of Allah protecting his Prophet until he died when
[23:39]he died all Muslims they used to teach us in books I
[23:42]remember in the in the school and the school they used to
[23:48]teach us that when he died came down to the prophet and
[23:54]he said Allah Allah sends you his salaam and he tells you
[23:59]leave Mecca now migrate your supporter and Makkah has died so migrate
[24:09]now after the death of and the prophet declared that year as
[24:14]the year of foreign foreign somebody says you know he's his uncle
[24:30]okay well his uncle what the other guy was also his uncle
[24:33]why did he declare your husband for him as well so unfortunately
[24:38]you know the facts are so clear but you have some people
[24:43]with agendas you know they can't they can't you know digest the
[24:46]facts they can't digest them so they come up with excuses this
[24:48]is when they give at the time of ease and at the
[24:52]time of difficulty the characteristics one of those who gave at the
[25:00]time of ease and at the time of difficulty everything he had
[25:03]then what else the word in Arabic you know back in the
[25:14]old days I don't know how many of you used to go
[25:17]buy a well and you would rub a bucket into the well
[25:18]I mean I don't think any of us actually maybe have seen
[25:21]any of this you know I don't think we maybe even grandfathers
[25:25]maybe grandfathers great grandfathers maybe those people we're aware of the age
[25:30]of you know the mashallah technology here so when they used to
[25:37]go and drop that bucket into the well and then they would
[25:39]tie the bucket well they would tie it well when it becomes
[25:43]full they tie it very good so that it doesn't you know
[25:46]fall the bucket doesn't fall when it becomes full so that is
[25:52]called cavame when you tie something well and is the state of
[25:59]anger that arises from one's own desires the state of anger because
[26:04]of somebody who makes him anger there's somebody who comes and makes
[26:09]one angry so he becomes fueled fueled fueled finally heal her up
[26:14]like a volcano that's real means to tie to tie his anger
[26:22]tightly so that he controls it that's basically what it means means
[26:28]those who control their anger they don't have anger management issues like
[26:33]sometimes we have in the communities masha'allah you have some people who
[26:38]have anger management my anger issues he comes prays fast but at
[26:45]the very thing you know if it doesn't go the way he
[26:47]likes he erupts I want to complain about what I don't know
[26:51]I'm here to complain yeah let us discuss no discussion I want
[26:58]you to listen to what I say and you must listen to
[27:01]what I say I know there's freedom of speech but let us
[27:06]discuss and you have them subhanallah these individuals they're always there the
[27:12]prophet comes the prophet one year he saw in the dream that
[27:18]he is doing so he told his companions that we will be
[27:24]doing tawaf around the club so in the year six after Vegeta
[27:29]this was in the U6 after Hijra the prophet takes some of
[27:34]his companions and says we're heading to Mecca they go the people
[27:38]of quresh come and they prevent rasulullah from going to after some
[27:44]discussion they agree on doing a peace treaty known as they write
[27:56]the treaty and everything is done he's not that Shia he says
[28:09]some hypocrites some of the hypocrites started asking didn't he tell us
[28:14]that we will be doing tawaf around the cabin you know he
[28:19]told us so where is that we didn't go to the cabin
[28:27]mentions the name we won't mention who at The Alibi says the
[28:35]hypocrites ask question States the name of the person who came and
[28:40]asked the question one of the big muffa Serene again and if
[28:45]you want read the texture of Surat al-fat in the Quran you'll
[28:50]find the story mentions as well mentioned it if you want references
[28:56]I'll give them to you but these are two for the sake
[29:02]of time this man came to the prophet and he said didn't
[29:05]you tell us that we will be going forth around he said
[29:11]yes but did I say it will be this year did I
[29:14]tell you it was going to be this year he looked at
[29:19]rasulullah and he said no you didn't he said so then what
[29:23]I said will become true but not this you you will go
[29:28]unto with me but not this year and then he protested he
[29:35]protested he complained why did you do this until the prophet had
[29:39]to tell him he said Allah I am the Messenger of Allah
[29:46]foreign ER he had to tell this man he started yelling at
[29:58]rasulullah read the books of History but rasulullah controls his anger controls
[30:08]himself if what this man said to rasulullah if he today would
[30:13]have said it to some of those leaders of the countries today
[30:15]some of the leaders in the countries that we see what they
[30:18]do to their Nations he would have probably be in prison oh
[30:21]he would be gone he'd be gone if what he said to
[30:27]rasulullah he would say today some of these leaders so-called Muslim leaders
[30:32]unfortunately but he knew Allah is he does not he controls his
[30:40]anger and he told him I am rasulullah indeed I am the
[30:43]Messenger of Allah and I would not disobey Allah in other words
[30:48]he's reminding him that you know what I am Guided by Allah
[30:53]whatever I do is from Allah Allah commands me to do this
[30:56]so I'm doing it in other words who are you to discuss
[31:01]with me but the prophet is very polite he doesn't use these
[31:04]languages that we use that's our language he doesn't use this language
[31:07]so then and he says he is going to support me you
[31:14]have such individuals unfortunately pray they fast some of them but this
[31:19]is their issue the problem is anger anger and they start saying
[31:24]things that you know subhanallah so this is an issue that as
[31:30]much we have to control it is embarrassing for a community or
[31:36]an individual who claims taqwa and then erupts like a volcano and
[31:42]in debates in discussion those of you who study debating if you
[31:48]go to a debating class they'll tell you in a debate you
[31:54]should never Raise Your Voice never the minute you raise your voice
[31:59]you've lost the argument even if you are right it's gone call
[32:04]us that's why sometimes professional Debaters what they'll try to do is
[32:08]to intimidate the other end they'll try to intimidate him they try
[32:12]to provoke him even if they know their grounds is weak they
[32:15]try to provoke the other end so that he starts yelling or
[32:20]shouting and he loses the argument they win that's one of the
[32:24]methodologies of debate and discussion but on the contrary if the person
[32:29]maintains his cool then they start getting you know more fuel than
[32:34]fueled themselves so this is a one who does not say you
[32:41]must listen to what I say that is or I am here
[32:46]to express my opinion and you have to listen to my opinion
[32:49]that is foreign they should have the control of their anger not
[33:08]only do they control their temper they forgive people they go a
[33:13]step further you said something wrong I forgive you I forgive you
[33:19]forgive them only no Allah and Allah loves who those who do
[33:25]kindness those who give not expecting anything back in other words you
[33:31]said something to me not am I going to control my anger
[33:37]only not only will I forgive you but I will also help
[33:41]you I'll help you that is to said one day a maid
[33:47]of Imam was pulling him some water he was washing his hands
[33:51]she was overwhelmed by the Alama by the greatness of the Imam
[33:56]she was overwhelmed so she started shaking and she dropped that's for
[34:00]example the whatever you call it that was she was pulling from
[34:06]and it was made of metal back then they used to make
[34:09]them a metal so they were heavy so it fell onto the
[34:14]forehead of the Imam and Imam started bleeding she got scared she
[34:19]looked at the Imam and she said she said all the ones
[34:29]who control their anger he said I control my anger and those
[34:34]who forgive the people he said I forgive you Anki foreign she
[34:44]said that people Allah also loves those who do kindness he says
[34:49]go you're a free lady go after hurting the Imam making him
[34:56]bleed s one day a man comes and attacks him Allah people
[35:12]around the Imam got angry at these words he's insulting the Imam
[35:18]in the Masjid of rasulullah they became angry they came to kill
[35:22]him he said wait wait wait wait hold on that's how we
[35:25]see sometimes in the community people mashallah also jump here let's jump
[35:29]yeah Ali you know and you have others masha'allah cheering them yes
[35:35]go go get him as well try to be a good player
[35:40]Yani Comfort things calm things down don't add fuel to the fire
[35:42]but that's what some people like you know they you know they
[35:46]fuel of it you know they really like it I mean amazing
[35:48]it's great they Thrive of it that's what some people are against
[35:53]amazing personalities we have nonetheless so people jumped on this man instead
[35:59]of giving him more of a talking to him no they wanted
[36:03]to beat him Imam will come and said wait wait wait let
[36:05]him speak they left him he said whatever he wanted to say
[36:14]then he left he had a farm on the outskirts of Medina
[36:16]Imam the next day took some money with him rode his donkey
[36:22]and he went to visit this man in his farm he enters
[36:26]the farm this man looks at his Imam will call them he
[36:28]says don't come you're not welcome here but Imam started continued coming
[36:33]continued entering he started stepping over some of the crops of this
[36:39]farmer so he started yelling what you're destroying my crops what are
[36:43]you doing here your mama called him then smiled at him with
[36:48]all kindness humbleness this is when he controlled his anger then he
[36:54]forgave this man and then what else he's kind to this man
[37:00]he tells him how much is this crop worth if you were
[37:06]to sell this today in the market take everything that you have
[37:10]so how much are you expecting for it he said maybe two
[37:13]or three hundred dirhams he said take this money 300 Dirhams it's
[37:16]all yours in addition to that whatever you sell is also yours
[37:21]everything is yours are you happy now the man was embarrassed he
[37:31]was really Amazed by the manners of the Imam sometimes people all
[37:39]they need is a little bit of attention all they need is
[37:42]a little bit of patience give them these patience don't rush when
[37:48]someone makes a mistake try to forgive him be kind to him
[37:54]or her then the next day people saw this man in the
[38:00]Masjid of rasulullah praising Imam Al-Qaeda they said they came to him
[38:06]they said yesterday you were insulting him you were saying this and
[38:09]this about him Allah knows whom he chooses to carry his message
[38:17]Imam then turned to his companions and said see yesterday you wanted
[38:23]to kill him today look at him what is better what you
[38:28]wanted to do or now what I did with him a little
[38:35]bit of anger control a little bit of forgiveness and a little
[38:40]bit of kindness transforms people changes their lives that's what we need
[38:51]to do to establish that Islamic character to build that Islamic character
[38:55]the concept of giving the concept of donating the concept of controlling
[39:05]the anger forgiving and being kind that's what we learn from those
[39:10]whom we claim that we follow and if we truly follow them
[39:16]let's Implement that in our lives words are easy to say words
[39:18]are easy to say people you find them sometimes coming every majless
[39:23]every imageless they'll come which is good they read the Salah they
[39:28]pray they fast doesn't match and that is what people see of
[39:35]you that's why the prophet says religion is not about you know
[39:40]religion is about how you deal with other people that's religion you
[39:45]pray and fast go pray as long as you want as much
[39:48]as you want but if you are not going to reflect that
[39:51]who cares about you Salat What's it gonna be to me what's
[39:54]my benefit of you same thing brothers and sisters what people see
[40:00]of us on the outside world what people see of us they
[40:04]see our manners they don't care if we praise Allah they want
[40:09]to come they see your honesty are you an honest person or
[40:14]not are you a kind person or not do you cooperate in
[40:15]your workplace with people or not are you a team player or
[40:20]not do you want to make things go or you want to
[40:24]create obstacles are you the type of a boss where people when
[40:26]he turns away say may Allah may Allah makes a whole you
[40:31]know and if he falls in his holy that's the way or
[40:33]like you know a brick falls on his head you know he's
[40:36]that type of a person you are oh the type of person
[40:40]where people long for him when he leaves they say we wish
[40:42]he comes back again that is what is meant in Islam that
[40:48]is the Islamic character and that's what the Quran wants to build
[40:52]for us brothers and sisters that's what Islam expects of us we
[40:59]find despite their difficulties despite the oppression they faced their never changed
[41:07]never Their Manners never changed put in the prison first he was
[41:13]taken to the prison of Basra from the Masjid of rasool Allah
[41:17]and they took the Imam they didn't even let him pray his
[41:25]Salat I have seen it in Mecca myself with my own eyes
[41:27]if you go sometimes you see people there you know the progeny
[41:33]of that Khalifa The progeny has progeny his descendants they don't let
[41:37]people finish their Salat sometimes I've seen it with my own eyes
[41:39]in the middle of the Salah they drag them they push them
[41:43]I've seen it the same thing they did with Imam Al Kalam
[41:47]they dragged him from the middle of the Masjid while he was
[41:52]praying and he looked at the rasulullah he said my grandfather bear
[41:58]witness to what they're doing to your grandson and they took him
[42:02]away it's difficult for a little bait when they leave Medina very
[42:05]difficult if you think about it think of the last day when
[42:08]you go for ziagara of rasulullah the last day when you read
[42:10]the ziara of Wada think how difficult it is at that moment
[42:15]for you when you leave the Wada This Is Us what about
[42:23]Imam al-qaam Imam Hussain alaihissalam when he wanted to leave Medina about
[42:32]the day or like a day like today or tomorrow when he
[42:36]left from Medina went to Mecca he went to the grave of
[42:42]rasulullah the whole night the whole night he was weeping on the
[42:47]grave of rasulullah that whole night and he tells him he says
[42:53]oh grandfather take me take me they're forcing me to leave the
[42:57]city they're forcing me to leave but I have no choice I
[43:04]have no choice until he it is said he slept for a
[43:10]few moments and he saw Allah saying you are coming to us
[43:14]shortly don't be sorry shortly you'll join us it is difficult same
[43:18]thing with Imam al-qadam when they took him he said or grandfather
[43:24]bear witness what they're doing to your grandson they're taking me away
[43:28]from you and indeed they took Imam al-qadam first to they put
[43:32]him in the prison of somebody's house and then he was transformed
[43:39]from or transferred from that prison to another person in Baghdad they
[43:44]put him in his house and father says that every day I
[43:49]see him praying night and day since the day he came to
[43:54]my house until today until they transferred the Imam to the prison
[43:57]of ascendi IBN shahik and that was a true prison for the
[44:02]Imam dark complete darkness they put the chains in the hands of
[44:05]the Imam and the feet of the Imam they started tightening things
[44:10]on the Imam alaihissalam but all this it is said one day
[44:17]they entered a lady a bad lady to the Imam they thought
[44:20]that they can you know brainwash the Imam they don't know who
[44:23]the Imam is so they made this lady enter to the Imam
[44:26]to try to attempt the Imam to commit a little while later
[44:32]they saw this lady doing sujud next to the Imam doing sujud
[44:35]and saying this lady was transformed transformed he transformed her she became
[44:59]a muttati a lady of taqwa piety so they realize nothing will
[45:05]work against this man nothing that's when Haro and finally ordered the
[45:08]Sindhi bin shahik to give some dates poison dates to the Imam
[45:15]alaihissalam they gave him the poison dates and then look at this
[45:18]leader what we see today of the leaders you know that's what
[45:23]they learned from he said open his chains open his chains and
[45:26]let him sit in a comfortable place and let people come and
[45:30]see him to see that he is fine nothing is wrong with
[45:33]him we haven't done anything to him so people started to come
[45:38]and see the Imam alaihissalam one of them by the name of
[45:44]al-musayyab he says I came to see the Imam and people of
[45:46]the Khalifa were telling me look at him he's fine we didn't
[45:51]do anything to him I'll look at him Imam said no they
[45:54]have given me the poison and in three days I'll be leaving
[45:57]this prison this man said I called the Shira and I told
[46:03]them to gather around the prison of Baghdad because Imam al-qadam will
[46:08]be leaving the prison he told me he's going to come out
[46:11]of this prison in three days he said we were standing there
[46:15]at that gate of the prison of Baghdad after three days the
[46:19]gates of the prison opened then we didn't see the Imam but
[46:23]we saw the guards of the Khalifa carrying the body of the
[46:31]Imam and they were calling this is the Imam of the Shia
[46:38]they do is the term the rejecters this is and they brought
[46:42]the body of Imam on the bridge of Baghdad that's when the
[46:48]Shia started work walking towards him weeping and crying then by the
[46:54]miracle of Allah came he took the body of his father he
[46:57]washed it he shrouded it and then he buried it where it
[47:03]is today in Baghdad in the cemetery of manipulation or people of
[47:10]quraish and at that moment I tell Imam al-kavam and Imam when
[47:17]you buried your father did you remember your father Hussein he was
[47:27]lying there on the plains of karbala with no one to help
[47:33]him or support him and zainab was there to see him and
[47:38]sukina it said Wednesday she looked after the children she missed sukhaina
[47:44]so she went looking for her she saw her hugging the body
[47:50]of her father foreign she said I saw sukina hugging the body
[48:23]of her father then I asked okay now what are you doing
[48:28]here she said oh my aunt zainab when the people raided our
[48:35]tents and they burned them I didn't know where to turn so
[48:40]I said I will turn to my father to protect me but
[48:42]when I came to my father I saw that he is a
[48:47]body without a head I hugged him and I started calling him
[48:55]I am your daughter or my father get up and protect me
[49:02]but I realized that my father is a body without a head
[49:08]how can he help me in this state foreign foreign the gates
[49:49]of need and any man who is here in the middle of
[49:53]Imam salaam Allah the guest of the Imam be assured that Iman
[49:59]is too generous to turn anyone of his guests without fulfilling your
[50:03]hajjad so remember to pray for all those who requested those who
[50:08]are ill and requested lacking Security in the world and requesting pray
[50:14]for everybody including for yourselves your parents your children for everybody all
[50:20]together without a single one who's quiet everyone Bismillah foreign um Allah
[51:32]foreign foreign foreign why the skin again foreign but moms
