[0:03]ald all right so last week we were talking about Dua and
[0:39]we said is one of the uh one of the words that
[0:46]we should say to a person who is on the brink of
[0:47]passing away and we should tell him to repeat after us to
[0:54]recite those words du du du from the name itself you understand
[1:01]that it's a Dua that relieves an individual it's called Dua the
[1:07]the supplication of Salvation so it's recommended not W but it's recommended
[1:11]that when someone is passing away when for example you have a
[1:16]Believer who's on the brink of death you tell him to utter
[1:21]Dua today inshallah we're gonna mention another supplication or a few supplications
[1:31]that uh you say to the person who's passing away so you
[1:36]tell him to repeat after you to say whatever you're saying one
[1:40]might tell me what if he's unconscious you know he's in the
[1:43]hospital he has these tubes inside of him he can't even respond
[1:45]no problem speak to him J speak to him tell him to
[1:52]say these words do your part and leave the rest on Allah
[1:54]subhanahu so it's very important that when someone is on the brink
[2:01]of death we try our best when there's a m on the
[2:03]brink of death we try our best to relieve him to help
[2:08]him J and inshallah when Allah sees that we're trying to help
[2:14]fellow Believers uh fellow brothers and sisters we're trying to help them
[2:21]when they're leaving atun inallah when the time comes for us there
[2:25]will be someone beside us trying to help us to relieve us
[2:30]from our distrust in those difficult times for one of the supplications
[2:36]that um one should say when I say should I mean it's
[2:43]recommended to say these supplications is [Music] yeah okay let me send
[3:00]it to the students actually I'm going to send you a Hadith
[3:07]first we're going to read the Hadith inshallah and let me send
[3:14]you the the Dua this is a supplication that the prophet sallallahu
[3:18]alai taught to a man uh to a young man who had
[3:24]mistreated his mother and he was going through tough times at uh
[3:29]the time of Sak the prophet told him to say these words
[3:33]in the tradition I'm not going to read the whole tradition I
[3:36]made a video about it one day you can find it online
[3:39]um alhamd of course in the in the tradition the prophet tells
[3:46]his mother to to be pleased with him the mother was not
[3:48]pleased at the beginning but when the prophet told him told her
[3:52]to be pleased with her son she she became pleased with her
[3:56]son now the prophet told him to recite these words and those
[3:59]words him those words helped him okay so keep those words in
[4:06]mind the Dua is a very beautiful Dua Dua that we all
[4:14]need right oh he who accepts the Small Deeds meaning he accepts
[4:17]Good Deeds even if they're minute even if it's simply saying Allah
[4:26]or simply performing a two prayer and he forgives the many the
[4:37]Abundant Deeds meaning the Abundant sins we sin a lot and we
[4:41]repent Allah T accepts our repentance and forgives our sins we perform
[4:45]a minimal amount of Good Deeds he accepts The Good Deeds that's
[4:51]Allah accept from me the little that I've done the Small Deeds
[4:59]I've done and forgive me for the many bad Deeds that I've
[5:02]have done surely you are the all forgiving the all merciful okay
[5:09]one might tell me should we take the habit of reciting this
[5:16]Dua sure why not it's a beautiful Dua a very powerful one
[5:18]too but keep it in mind as well because you might need
[5:22]it one day to do when someone is passing away Ty this
[5:32]is one Dua there's another one that's similar to it and that
[5:38]one is found in a narration that I sent to you right
[5:43]now we're going to read the the narration and then we'll um
[5:50]we'll understand what is this Dua just give me one second here
[6:19]got it this one by the way the this tradition is in
[6:27]alfi there's a man who was about to die his time had
[6:49]arrived so at that point someone addressed the prophet and he told
[6:54]him oh messenger of Allah fulan is on the brink of dying
[7:08]the tradition says the prophet sallallahu alai Rose at that point with
[7:14]a group from his companions the prophet moved until he reached that
[7:27]individual and the individual was what was unconscious Prophet addressed the angel
[7:40]of death telling him oh Angel of Death leave the man alone
[7:43]so I may ask him a question Subhan Allah He commands Mal
[7:47]right of course he's he's the master of Mal so he tells
[7:53]him leave him alone you know other words give him a small
[7:59]break so I can ask him a question for at that point
[8:02]the man woke up which means that listened he obeyed the prophet's
[8:06]command and the man woke up the prophet told him what did
[8:14]you see man's in and at that point you start to see
[8:17]things that you don't naturally see you see the other world so
[8:22]he tells him they told them I saw a lot of white
[8:29]things things and I saw a lot of dark or black things
[8:34]here the white things that he saw refer to his deeds his
[8:42]good deeds and the black things or the dark things he saw
[8:45]refer to his sins in better terms these are manifestations of his
[8:52]good deeds and his bad Deeds so it tells the prophet sallah
[8:55]I saw some white things possibly light and I saw some dark
[9:00]things possibly Darkness an abundant amount of Darkness told him which of
[9:12]the two was closer to you said the darkness was closer which
[9:19]indicates that the man was in trouble here the prophet told him
[9:30]say the following now this is the Dua oh Allah forgive me
[9:41]for the Abundant amount of sins that I have committed and accept
[9:48]from me the small amount of Good Deeds that I've performed the
[10:00]small amount of obedience that I've uh shown you this is a
[10:07]Dua it's similar to the first Dua we we mentioned but it's
[10:11]a bit different here the man said the supplication then he fainted
[10:31]the prophet directed a second command to telling him Angel of Death
[10:38]means you know take it easy with him right relieve him to
[10:46]a certain extent so I may ask him a question the man
[10:55]woke up another time now the prophet asked him what did you
[10:59]see he was still seeing the same thing he told the prophet
[11:08]I saw many white things and many black or dark things he
[11:15]said which of the two was closer to you he said the
[11:21]white things now were closer to me so the darkness was more
[11:27]distant he told his companions Allah has forgiven your companion meaning this
[11:36]person's faith is heaven and the Hereafter Allah has forgiven him now
[11:52]after ning the story makes a comment he says if one day
[11:58]you are beside someone who's about to pass pass away then tell
[12:03]him these words meaning the Dua and tell him to say these
[12:10]words so whether the person is awake or not whether he's you
[12:17]know he he understands what you're saying it seems that he understands
[12:21]what what you're saying or not in both cases if you're beside
[12:24]him and you feel like he's on the brink of death or
[12:28]you know he's on the brink of death then tell himan say
[12:56]you mean for the one who doesn't know his Imam he dies
[13:03]like one who died in Jah so ultimately he's misguided right and
[13:10]the the fate of misguidance is what fate of the misguided is
[13:15]is hellfire right fate of those who are misguided is hellfire hence
[13:19]in we say do not make us from those who are misguided
[13:26]yes if someone was misguided because of ignorance and he was excused
[13:31]for his ignorance what we call then that person would be Exempted
[13:35]from Allah's punishment because he can't be blamed he was ignorant and
[13:41]could not have learned he couldn't have learned it was not in
[13:46]his hands but if someone was meaning he was ignorant but he
[13:51]could have learned however he chose not to that one will be
[13:55]held accountable by Allah will be or could be held accountable by
[13:59]by God in other words he deserves punishment because he didn't exert
[14:05]effort to know and to learn people say like what's the so
[14:27]unfortunately the enemies of um they um they spread false news about
[14:34]Abu Talib and the relatives of so they said that not only
[14:43]Abu Talib but even the prophet's parents they were AB Talib abdah
[14:48]they're all CF they're all going to jam that's what you know
[14:51]the opposite side what the the enemies of we say based on
[14:57]the teachings of that no ABD MB and Abu Talib are from
[15:04]the greatest Believers in Allah subhana tala and Abdullah and they're they're
[15:09]definitely they're also part of the Great Believers they're the parents of
[15:18]Allah chose them to have that honor to be the parents of
[15:20]the holy prophet sallallah alaihi wasallam now meanwhile as the enemy said
[15:28]you know Abu Talib died as a CAF M died as a
[15:31]cafir Abdullah they said but Abu sufyan was Allah he was guided
[15:38]to IM he was guided to Islam muaah Islam Subhan Allah Aban
[15:46]the arch enemy of rasool Allah the one who you know uh
[15:50]spent an x amount of years fighting Allah and the Muslim he
[15:56]ends up as a Muslim and he's you know he's respected and
[16:01]he has a status in the eyes of Allah subhana wa tala
[16:07]yet Abu Talib the man who protected in every single manner he
[16:11]could and he used any means he could use to protect even
[16:18]if that meant jeopardizing the life of his own son he would
[16:24]do that to protect Allah and to defend him that man ends
[16:31]up being a CF right one might one might um argue with
[16:34]us saying but hold on you know sometimes you have bad people
[16:39]and then Allah T guides them we don't disagree we agree yes
[16:42]you might have bad people and Allah guides them but with Abu
[16:48]sufyan there are there's evidence that the man did not become a
[16:51]Muslim the man said the Shah he said not exactly sure if
[16:57]he said Muhammad or not nonetheless suppose he said The Man simply
[17:01]said it because he was afraid he would get killed when did
[17:07]he supposedly utter the testimonies when when conquered meca and he saw
[17:15]this is it you know this is the end of the road
[17:19]if I don't as a Muslim most likely I will be killed
[17:23]why because of everything he had done in the past because of
[17:29]everything he had done in the past J he and his team
[17:33]he and his group were responsible for the killing of multiple Muslim
[17:39]including ham and that's something could not forget the killing of Hamza
[17:46]but even then Subhan Allah uh these people who were responsible for
[17:53]killing Hamza when he told them what do you think I will
[17:57]do with you they told him you know you're you're a generous
[18:01]or honorable brother and you're you're the son of a brother who's
[18:06]also honorable or generous he told them he didn't exact his revenge
[18:15]on them right he pardoned them not in the sense that he
[18:19]forgave them but he didn't punish them make sense go forth you
[18:25]are so uh Abu sufyan simply you know became Muslim to protect
[18:33]himself from the sword um after his so-called Islam the man revealed
[18:41]his his disbelief once again makes sense that's why we're saying Abu
[18:45]sufyan is is evil he revealed his disbelief once again in the
[18:50]era ofan for example there are proofs indicating that the man did
[18:56]not enter Islam uh he he was not a real Muslim that
[19:00]that's what I mean to say look at this the arch enemy
[19:09]ofas Allah ends up what being called a good respected Muslim the
[19:13]relatives of who are actual and some of them exerted a lot
[19:20]of effort to support they're called kuf this was part of the
[19:32]the attack on and uh long story short the enemies did this
[19:37]to uh put down the prophet or to put down IM in
[19:46]one way or another as certain individuals certain people say the enemies
[19:53]of could not find any defects in Ali he has no defects
[19:59]so in order to attribute at least one defect to the IM
[20:03]which is not really a defect they said his father is is
[20:07]a he di as a that's that's the issue when in reality
[20:13]there is plenty of proof confirming the Islam of Abu tal plenty
[20:23]of proof the man said the Shah multiple times in his life
[20:27]and his poetry found today if you want you can Google it
[20:33]you know Abu Talib has a dwan he would utter he would
[20:35]compose po poems in his poetry he Reveals His faith in the
[20:41]prophet sallallahu Al so what else do the do the enemies want
[20:43]as for our imams they defended abuali they defended Abu Talib and
[20:50]one of those imams was IM I'm going to conclude the lesson
[20:55]with with this word presented a beautiful proof confirming Abu talib's Faith
[21:02]he said I'm going to paraphrase his words uh when R Allah
[21:08]propagated the message there were certain women who became Muslim but their
[21:15]husbands remained cfir so the prophet basically separated the Muslim women from
[21:20]their disbelieving husbands because a Muslim lady can only marry a Muslim
[21:23]man but with f whom the Muslims agree she was one of
[21:29]the muslimat no one no one can debate this this issue she
[21:33]was a Muslim even sunnis believe that F was a Muslim yes
[21:37]they say she would worship idols before we say the mother of
[21:43]Ali will never worship an idol nonetheless she was muslima she entered
[21:50]Islam she was one of the greatest Muslim woman but the prophet
[21:55]never separated her from Abu Talib so if he was a cfir
[22:02]the prophet should have separated them right the fact that he's his
[22:10]uncle does not mean is not going to implement or apply the
[22:14]Islamic on Abu Talib correct that's it I'm sorry if the the
[22:21]answer was a bit longer than expected but there's a lot to
[22:26]say yeah and if he if he if he sought knowledge he
[23:00]thought he did his part he didn't know that there was more
[23:05]that he should have learned and then yeah obviously Allah would would
[23:09]excuse him y y yeah it all depends on his case uh
[23:28]if he wants to be safe what would be why is addressing
[23:30]a scholar and telling him tell me what's on me yeah right
[23:40]so the Dua that we should keep in mind is that's the
[23:52]first Dua the second is all right there's a third Dua let
[24:02]me quickly mention it and we'll finish the lesson for today there's
[24:07]a third Dua that mentioned in it's very short you should also
[24:16]tell the person who's passing away to say it and it is
[24:18]the following very easy oh Allah bless me for sure that you
[24:30]are merciful or you are very merciful
