[17:13][Music] m for [Music] [Music] [Music] everyone alhamdulillah inshallah I hope everyone
[18:21]is enjoying um our nightly programs here uh I congratulate all of
[18:26]you for reaching seven nights of the holy month of Ramadan and
[18:32]uh inshallah all of us have uh been benefiting from these sacred
[18:35]days and the holy nights of this uh month inshallah um announcements
[18:41]and updates for um for Mecca so tonight is a exciting fun
[18:45]youth for fun night for the Youth uh the youth have been
[18:51]looking forward to it there are some fun games and uh the
[18:53]cherry on the top is brother Hussein Shara as well as Hassan
[18:57]and rajab Ali is going to be joining the youth so um
[19:00]all of us here the youth as well as those watching online
[19:06]uh come on over uh for some fun night and um March
[19:09]14th is going to be another fun night that is next Friday
[19:15]uh at High Velocity the program here is not going to take
[19:18]place it's going to take place at High Velocity so the whole
[19:24]uh uh uh High Velocity has been R rented out by Mecca
[19:28]so that the youth can play sports it is going to be
[19:32]separate for ladies and men so the boys get your teams together
[19:38]the women the girls get your teams together we don't get this
[19:42]opportunity quite often so uh call up your friends family and say
[19:45]you know what let's have a sahur Fest at High Velocity in
[19:50]Canton so um make sure you get your tickets I know we
[19:52]kind of get lethargic during the month of Ramadan don't let it
[19:57]uh uh you know make you lose buying those tickets we do
[20:00]need to uh close uh the tickets as soon as possible as
[20:05]well last but not the least also buying tickets for a very
[20:09]important event at the end of the month holy month of Ramadan
[20:15]that is March 28th again do get your tables get your families
[20:18]and friends together you know host a sahur night for your friends
[20:25]and family at our dinner we do need all of the support
[20:28]Mecca needs all of your support we have uh you know Mecca
[20:33]won't be what it would be if it wasn't for our supporters
[20:35]so we thank all our supporters all our sponsors here that brings
[20:41]us to the sponsors of this night and which are let me
[20:47]just get to them uh the sponsor to of sponsors of tonight
[20:51]are we have an anonymous donor we have brother Imad aada and
[20:58]sister sua Zan I request f for all inshah may Allah accept
[21:21]all their sponsorships and Elevate the Stations of thein and Grant them
[21:25]intercession of Muhammad Ali Muhammad inshallah uh um uh the last thing
[21:32]a last request that I have from everyone is regarding the monthly
[21:36]recurring donors for our Mecha family I know a lot of you
[21:39]have been a part and have uh become part of the monthly
[21:43]donors I do want to put out that request again for some
[21:47]of our online viewers as well as some of the viewers here
[21:50]that might not have done so now let me just get into
[21:55]uh you know a quick explanation of why we need monthly donors
[21:58]what does a monthly donor do a monthly donors they decide basically
[22:02]that they help us plan the budget for mecca for the whole
[22:07]year because of course we need to know how much is coming
[22:09]to Mecca on a monthly basis so we can uh you know
[22:14]plan a budget second we decide the speakers and the reciters so
[22:17]I'm sure all of us uh enjoy the speakers here that come
[22:22]uh you know especially the past week you know the the lectures
[22:25]have been quite enlightening and elevating spiritually for for us so that
[22:29]helps us decide those speakers and reciters also putting together celebrations uh
[22:35]during the mids Etc put together plans for sisters and youth you
[22:40]know every company every organization looks into their basic budgeting when it
[22:45]comes the time to plan activities so you know it helps plan
[22:52]activities for sisters as well as uh youth especially the young girls
[22:56]also because uh those tend to take a backseat um sometimes when
[23:01]there is a shortage of budget uh take care of um any
[23:07]unexpected costs okay when we have a budget then we know okay
[23:09]if there is a sudden you know need for um you know
[23:14]either expansion or if there is something that we need mashallah every
[23:17]week um Salat jum the crowd is expanding so there could be
[23:21]some you know uh cost that are related to that and help
[23:28]us basically take care of the General needs of Mecca so that's
[23:32]why I stress upon becoming a monthly donor so um if you
[23:36]all can recite a salawat then I would go on to my
[23:40]next point is he here um last but not the least again
[23:51]I want to um you know from the mecca family from the
[23:54]board from Sayad s on behalf of Sayad S as well I
[24:00]want to thank our speaker for the past week um Haj hassanan
[24:03]rajabali for his enlightening speeches uh and for extending it for a
[24:10]day upon our request um I know it is a um you
[24:15]know it's it's a from Dearborn where um you know he's always
[24:18]found but then to take for him to take out time and
[24:23]come to the Canton family Enlighten us with our lectures they have
[24:27]been the lectures have been spiritual elevating this the lectures have been
[24:31]something that you know you you listen to a lecture and then
[24:36]you want to listen to it again so that's the kind of
[24:38]lectures that we are having in makah so I thank um Hajj
[24:43]for giving us our time from you know on behalf of all
[24:45]of us here and uh I'd like to welcome him and it's
[24:50]my honor to welcome him Hajj hassanan rajab Al to the podium
[24:54]Muhammad Ali Muhammad m alhamdulillah alhamd muhammadh [Music] Muhammad muham I bear
[27:00]witness that there is no God but Allah and I begin in
[27:04]his blessed name he is the cause of all good causes and
[27:09]he is the original cause as we call him meaning the cause
[27:13]of all causes the original cause and we arein we're the contingent
[27:19]existence meaning because of the will of God we have come into
[27:24]existence and as a result God has endowed us with the potential
[27:31]to exist eternally because he is eternal it's illogical for a created
[27:35]being to even talk about Eternity for there is no eternity in
[27:39]a finite entity but rather we all talk about Infinity in existence
[27:44]which is an impossibility unless the maker is infinite and therefore Allah
[27:52]is he is the as IM aliam says Allah is before even
[27:59]before before was before meaning he outside of time and he is
[28:04]after even after is after because we're so pegged in time in
[28:10]space and in matter then all our conversations are somehow pegged with
[28:14]the nature of time space and matter therefore when we talk about
[28:19]Allah it sometimes becomes impossible to describe Allah without some element of
[28:27]time matter or space space so it's we have to be very
[28:34]careful lest we as we do sh in other words lest we
[28:35]anthropomorph God into some shape or form and that is something that
[28:41]Allah forbids do not associate anyone with God not even in particles
[28:50]where we associate an object or some substance that makes Allah Allah
[28:55]makes everything nothing makes him and he Indescribable tonight there are many
[29:01]topics I'd like to touch as my final lecture I'd like to
[29:05]summarize some of the things but as you know the month of
[29:07]Ramadan is a month of seeking Grace it's a month ofar it's
[29:14]a month of meditation introspection um reflection and the Quran is the
[29:23]ideal Source by which to indulge in such positive directions for there
[29:27]is no book greater than the Quran and the Quran is the
[29:32]book that has the best moral principles this Quran guides you to
[29:41]that which is most upright therefore it's only logical that in this
[29:45]blessed month the objective of the individual is to attain tawa which
[29:49]implies that you want to be God conscious which implies you want
[29:52]to promote good which implies you want to forbid evil it's impossible
[29:56]unless we attach ourselves to a moral principle or a book of
[30:03]moral principles and therefore there's nothing better than to look at the
[30:08]Quran in its written form we say Quran you know and then
[30:14]of course the Quran the moving living Quran is the holy prophet
[30:19]and his muham Muhammad in Bak verse 2 86 Allah the last
[30:30]verse Allah says this verse is a universal verse in the Quran
[30:37]what I advise all of us to do when we do introspect
[30:41]or when we reflect on the Quran is look for verses in
[30:46]the Quran that are Universal there are specific verses about specific issues
[30:52]about specific period of time that describes historical effects describes the derivation
[30:58]of law but I would advise Muslims who are listening to this
[31:03]presentation to focus on the universal verses of the Quran for the
[31:07]universal verses of the Quran are the most powerful basis of everything
[31:12]else I don't have time to speak about this but in Al
[31:16]Imran verse number seven Allah talks about two types of verses that
[31:20]he has given us and I don't have time to talk about
[31:26]it but the Quran has a science of its own it's the
[31:28]only book that I know of in the world that presents an
[31:32]argument and defends itself and its argument is that my defense is
[31:38]immutable from the perspective that I will defend myself without any crookedness
[31:45]and that's impossible to do in nature but the Quran has that
[31:48]capacity meaning it's not dependent on outside sources for it to validate
[31:53]itself therefore Hadith which is very important in Islam Sunnah of is
[31:57]very important it is ancillary it is secondary it's dependent on the
[32:06]Quran but definitely the Quran is not dependent on the Hadith those
[32:11]who make the Quran dependent on the Hadith have gone asay people
[32:16]who have manipulated the laws of God and have eradicated or canceled
[32:20]some of the most fundamental laws of the Quran have done so
[32:27]using Hadith to negate the Quran impossible the Quran is the Criterion
[32:31]it's known as Alan it is the one that deciphers the gray
[32:34]into black and white not the other way around please I hope
[32:39]you understand this very clearly Allah in this Universal verse he says
[32:43]we don't put a burden on you except that which you can
[32:45]handle this is beautiful it's very beautiful because here now we see
[32:56]the diversity of the human race with regards to capacities there are
[33:00]those who are more intelligent than others there are those who are
[33:04]more endowed with wealth than others there are those who are healthier
[33:08]than others those who are stronger than others and we wonder where's
[33:12]the justice of God when we look at prophets of God they
[33:17]are more endowed with knowledge they have what we call Rus it's
[33:21]a special kind of knowledge that gives them the capacity to see
[33:24]the Unseen on Earth which then enables them to make judgment ments
[33:28]without any mistakes now that capacity you and I typically don't have
[33:35]we can get it but not to the degree that prophets have
[33:39]okay so we argue that prophets are ahead of the society so
[33:46]what's their judgment since they're so guided and we're so dependent on
[33:50]guidance and we're not quote unquote as guided as they are or
[33:53]as owed as they are what's going to happen on Judgment Day
[33:58]will they have their exclusive space in Paradise where none can enter
[34:03]except them no even the average person who may appear average to
[34:07]you and me could be the neighbor of the holy prophet sallam
[34:13]muham muhmad you might ask how when the prophet has done so
[34:22]much good he's infallible hasn't committed sins and he is so sub
[34:29]you know subservient to Allah who can be better than him and
[34:36]by that token how can the messenger have a neighbor who is
[34:39]anyone less than the messenger I mean we could see Ali we
[34:42]could see IIM we could see M Alam but how do you
[34:48]see an average Muslim and here what I mean by averages in
[34:53]our appearance obviously such people are not average those who can be
[34:56]in the stations with the messenger of Allah average but we don't
[35:00]see that so we use the term average but in reality what
[35:04]happens is that Allah says we don't put a burden on you
[35:07]more than you can handle and if that individual has been given
[35:09]less capacity but maximizes that capacity then on a relative scale they're
[35:16]deservant of reward like the messenger of Allah for the messenger of
[35:21]Allah's wings are the largest therefore there's an expectation that he should
[35:26]fly the highest whereas the other one whose wings are not as
[35:31]large should not fly as high so our visual expectation of the
[35:35]second person is less but from a qualitative comparison not quantitative then
[35:44]you find that such people are similar and that's the justice of
[35:50]God and then Allah describes it in other words what whatever you
[36:00]earn the good and the evil you will be liable for it
[36:07]when you do good you do good for yourselves and if you
[36:12]don't you are to be liable for it so therefore the justice
[36:15]of Allah is extremely elegant so when you look around and see
[36:20]people of different Fates let's say we see a person of a
[36:24]different Faith who happens to be woring let's say Idols you and
[36:28]I may say well that person is going to hell because that's
[36:31]an idol worshipper you and I cannot say that it's forbidden you
[36:35]and I can never condemn anyone to hell no matter how idolatrous
[36:42]they are idolatry should be condemned but the idolator be careful be
[36:48]careful if they're not troublemakers and they idolators then it's a different
[36:55]perspective but then the logic is that if you're a Muslim even
[36:58]a lover of and you're a troublemaker you should be condemned though
[37:03]the principles you uphold are the best therefore it's a meritorious it's
[37:10]a meritocracy system upon which the individual is judged on the basis
[37:15]of their merits so you and I need to be very careful
[37:17]when we judge people of other religions or when we see a
[37:22]sister not wearing hijab or we see a brother or a sister
[37:24]not maintaining their prayers or their religious duties and encourage them you
[37:29]know invite them to the way of Allah encourage them to do
[37:34]good but never condemn them and never judge them it's forbidden for
[37:40]justice with regards to the Hereafter is exclusively Allah's domain not even
[37:45]the messenger of Allah not even can interject those of us who
[37:53]think that on Judgment Day you know when the angel is saying
[37:55]to person X you're going to hell and then he interject is
[37:59]no no no he's my you know he's my companion he loves
[38:05]me no no this animation is belongs in fairy tales it's not
[38:12]true never happens will never happen never first of all there's an
[38:15]implication that the angel made a mistake and he's getting instructions from
[38:19]Allah and mallah IM Ali is correcting it what a Preposterous idea
[38:23]no never never now love of Love Of Love of the of
[38:32]is already built into the person's it's already built into their deeds
[38:37]on judgment day and it will be conspicuously seen that they may
[38:46]become the foremost of the foremost but but please let's not animate
[38:52]these ideas the command of the day of judgment is exclusively Allah's
[38:57]and the knowledge of the day of judgment is exclusively Allah's in
[39:03]mul the disbelievers asked the [Music] messenger when will this day happen
[39:15]Allah says to the messenger say this knowledge of the day of
[39:25]judgment is with Allah I am a plain Warner this is the
[39:33]principle according to the Quran we must understand now because this month
[39:37]as we say in Ramadan and of course all the 11 months
[39:42]are the months upon which Allah says you know hasten to forgiveness
[39:51]from your lord it's a command of God that invites us constantly
[39:54]to seek his grace so in this month of Ramadan while we're
[39:57]fasting and abstaining and becoming more God conscious then it's good that
[40:05]we when we read such verses the 286 that Allah is describing
[40:09]the the the principles of this trial upon which how you and
[40:15]I can pass and fail by the way this is common thing
[40:17]they say in Ramadan all the jins you know especially B is
[40:23]locked up in prison we've heard this well that's not true there's
[40:27]no animation of such things meaning El himself and his agents are
[40:32]not collected on when The Hil is shown and they're all now
[40:37]taken into prison and put in Chains and they're tied up and
[40:40]then you know when Eid comes they're all released no that's not
[40:46]what it means once again misunderstanding what it means is when you
[40:51]and I fast we become acutely aware of the mercy of Allah
[40:58]and we are constantly under the state of fasting abstaining from committing
[41:03]sins because we're fasting and we want to make sure that our
[41:07]fast is accepted and that's what incarcerates the ginat who are troublemakers
[41:13]so that means the rule is for the rest of the year
[41:17]for the rest of your life if you're Vigilant in the state
[41:20]of tawa you have incarcerated El you have put him in prison
[41:26]and that's a beautiful way to think about now Allah says for
[41:30]example so then he teaches us a Dua as you know the
[41:34]Quran is filled with prophets reciting right why is why are these
[41:41]verses Allah is showing me how to seek from him and it's
[41:47]interesting that in this verse Allah tala is showing that this trial
[41:51]is not easy as I mentioned in when he says he's Mighty
[42:06]forgiving but the preceding verse is to test us which of us
[42:13]is best indeed well God is telling me tacitly indirectly that most
[42:18]likely you will fail you won't be able to stand up straight
[42:23]just by nature of Life due to ignorance due to intrusions and
[42:29]Shan is attacking us from the right the left from the front
[42:33]the back so it's very difficult for us to stand upright and
[42:36]therefore Allah consoles me by saying I am mighty forgiving meaning don't
[42:45]worry that while you may be taken astray wow very powerful say
[43:02]when my Believers go astray not to lose hope in my Mercy
[43:07]I forgive all sins Allah forgives all indeed he is of protecting
[43:17]merciful and I want to to understand by the way that in
[43:23]Arabic has many meanings we think that when prophets ask for like
[43:26]Adam we think is asking for forgiveness I want you to please
[43:33]understand very clearly the Dynamics of how the Quran talks if you
[43:37]don't know you will misconstrue you will misunderstand what the Quran means
[43:44]many of us take it at the service level thinking that when
[43:48]they're seeking forgiveness that they've made mistakes but we know from core
[43:53]principles that prophets and imams are infallible meaning they can commit sins
[43:59]but they don't and they won't they can but they won't now
[44:03]we might ask the question that what does mean when Adam asks
[44:18]our Lord we have burdened ourselves here he's talking on behalf of
[44:24]himself and his spouse as soon as he was brought on Earth
[44:30]he made this prayer and if you don't here we translate if
[44:38]you don't forgive us the implication is oh Adam must have made
[44:42]a mistake in approaching the tree I'm just introducing it Adam did
[44:45]not make a mistake approaching the tree at all it was divine
[44:51]decree and he fulfilled the obligation of the decree very very systematically
[44:58]Quran masterfully presents this from the Quran as he uses Quran Quran
[45:06]in his and it's a brilliant presentation and I truly truly believe
[45:11]that this is one of the best explanations I've ever heard the
[45:15]whole situation of Adam eunus leaving the people those all those verses
[45:22]that appear you will find that actually prophets have not made mistakes
[45:27]they're Servants of God going through trials and they in their own
[45:31]perspectives given the obligations that they have when they talk to God
[45:40]no matter how infallible you are including the holy prophet who sinless
[45:46]with pure light can never compare himself with Allah therefore when you
[45:55]talk to God you feel you are nothing IM Al am [Music]
[46:10]says the constant comparison of God's in infinite Mercy compared to the
[46:20]created being who's talking IM aliam is talking you see we are
[46:27]weak weak you are strong Imam Ali Alam is describing but IM
[46:34]Ali was very strong he was very wise he was very jaad
[46:37]he was very giving but in front of Allah no so therefore
[46:44]when prophets are asking for forgiveness in the Quran it's not because
[46:49]they made mistakes it's the means by which they talk to God
[46:54]as as Servants of God it's the only lingo which is exactly
[47:00]what El wasn't using when he conversed with Allah he spoke to
[47:05]Allah with arrogance he was not submissive when prophets are submissive it
[47:10]doesn't mean they made mistakes and by the way this eye of
[47:15]Adam listen to the verse Adam should have said he didn't say
[47:30]that he said meaning I am burdened when Allah said meaning I
[47:36]warn you Adam although you decreed to approach this tree you are
[47:41]decreed why are you decreed well because before Adam existed Allah says
[47:51]Allah described that already before Adam was created Allah said to the
[47:55]angels I'm going to place on Earth my Khalifa did Adam not
[48:01]come to Earth as a Khalifa yes therefore it was the decree
[48:04]of God and what Adam did was the Fulfillment of that decree
[48:09]but Allah warned him that the approach to that tree will trigger
[48:15]your trial since you are not privileged to be a regular child
[48:18]who's given 15 years of incubation before you reach maturity that's therefore
[48:25]since you are in Paradise with your wife you will dictate when
[48:28]your trial will begin unlike a child who's born they are given
[48:32]a time scale for a girl to be around nine and for
[48:36]the boy to be around 15 lunar years not solar years so
[48:43]when you find that we find that the term the implication is
[48:49]protection please understand that I need to make this point so that
[48:52]anytime you read the Quran and you hear prophets asking for no
[48:57]it means protection not forgiveness and by the way ask the prophet
[49:04]are you asking for forgiveness the prophet will say 100% but you
[49:09]are sinless he says well how can I be sinless unless I
[49:16]ask for forgiveness so notice the logic but you and I said
[49:20]aha you see you're not infallible no that logic doesn't stand you
[49:25]when you say to people pardon me can I ask ask you
[49:29]a question forgive me I'd like to ask you a question you
[49:32]should excuse me forgive you for what in far you sayi you
[49:36]know in French you say paron so why do you say that
[49:42]you haven't made a mistake what what it means is should I
[49:43]make a mistake don't hold me liable protect me Ah that's beautiful
[49:48]linguistically that's what we do all the time so please be careful
[49:52]about when it comes to these matters to understand the language of
[49:55]the Quran and the Quran is so elegant in his presentation that
[50:00]it's testing you and me what do you think it is and
[50:02]I'd like that so when we're asking for you and I of
[50:08]course we make mistakes and of course for us primarily means forgiveness
[50:15]but should we not ask for protection my God how important is
[50:19]protection every one of us in Ramadan should be seeking protection not
[50:26]only forgiveness let's not wait to make a mistake to turn to
[50:29]God and ask him for forgiveness how about we ask God to
[50:32]protect us so that when we do make a mistake we will
[50:36]tell Allah that my intention was not to disobey you oh Allah
[50:40]and here Allah subh is telling me don't worry you will slip
[50:44]so Allah now with this Dua is teaching me something very elegant
[50:49]he says our Lord do not punish us if we forget or
[50:57]make a mistake God is telling me to say that to him
[51:03]that's incredible what a merciful god who's teaching me how to talk
[51:06]to him can you imagine a king sending you a sentences when
[51:09]you come to my court and you stand in front of me
[51:13]this is what you should say like wow that's incredible that's a
[51:16]formula given by God for me to talk to God how merciful
[51:20]is Allah for if you and I were told to go and
[51:24]speak to God you and I would be stumbling and mumbling not
[51:26]knowing what what to say but when God gives you the most
[51:33]elegant sentences by which to prescribe yourself under and ascribe the level
[51:37]by which you and I should seek Grace from God what better
[51:40]than to use his own words and then what does Allah say
[51:46]he says our Lord do not lay on us a burden as
[51:48]you did lay on those before us meaning don't put this on
[51:52]me more than I can handle and Allah has already said that
[51:57]we don't put a burden on you except that which you can
[52:01]handle so the Quran is already established it but Allah is saying
[52:05]to you and me within our myopic thinking and convoluted thinking and
[52:12]our jilah that when a trial comes we wonder why is God
[52:15]giving me this trial it's so difficult Allah says you don't realize
[52:18]the wings you have and it may appear difficult to you but
[52:22]actually I will never give you a difficulty more than you can
[52:25]handle even if it leads to your death for Allah is merciful
[52:30]so here Allah says do not lay on us a burden as
[52:32]you did lay on those before us and don't impose upon us
[52:36]that which we don't have the strength to Bear wow this is
[52:40]what you and I need to read every day because we're trying
[52:43]to get away from burdens pardon us forgive us meaning and grant
[52:49]us protection and have mercy on us you are our Patron so
[52:56]help us against the unbelieving people people meaning those who don't believe
[53:00]who are causing trouble around my life help me protect me guide
[53:04]me so I don't fall into ignominy this is beautiful this is
[53:11]verse 286 what a blessing it is so this is an important
[53:13]point I wanted to make now I want to jump into there
[53:16]are a couple of points I want to make so forgive me
[53:20]but they're all technically tied in together slavery you know brother Taha
[53:26]asked me many times he said please talk about slavery it's very
[53:29]interesting and this is something that triggers a lot of people yeah
[53:32]Islam is religion of Peace how does Islam deal with slavery because
[53:36]the Quran mentions you know that free a slave you know or
[53:40]what your right hand possesses you know does Islam allow slavery does
[53:48]Islam allow servitude what's the rule well there are many many aspects
[53:51]first and foremost let's understand the psychology the social psychology of those
[53:57]who are oppressed children for example who are oppressed who witness battles
[54:03]Wars and they're oppressed they are different psychologically and the society cannot
[54:10]just take them and throw them into the normal society and expect
[54:15]them to function normally now they're highly traumatized today the wars that
[54:19]are taking place in the Middle East especially and in Ukraine is
[54:24]a monstrosity that's going to take decades if not generation s to
[54:29]overcome we don't realize how detrimental and damaging Wars are those people
[54:34]sitting on their high chairs with cigars to use the metaphor who
[54:37]think that just annihilating a group of people or burning and bombing
[54:42]them because we made 2,000 PB bombs and now we're so powerful
[54:45]we can just drop it on people don't realize the kind of
[54:51]waves they're creating socially that becomes very very detrimental to society and
[54:56]to to change that child's uh perspective in life to quote unquote
[55:02]normalize them if you want to call that it takes a very
[55:08]long amount of time and a lot of patience that's just people
[55:12]are traumatized people who are enslaved upon which their rights are taken
[55:17]is a very very devastating reality when you look at the slavery
[55:23]in the United States it was one of the most vicious forms
[55:24]of slavery in the annals of History history while Europeans had slaves
[55:32]other countries continents had slaves and some were very vicious even in
[55:36]Asia and China there were some vicious enslavements of people that devastated
[55:41]their lives but in a general sense for you and I to
[55:44]understand slaves in North America in the United States were completely taken
[55:50]into such a state in the southern part of the United States
[55:54]where they were on these cotton fields in extreme temperatures because when
[55:59]they brought the Mexicans up and they brought the South Americans up
[56:02]they were all falling and dying like flies because the heat was
[56:06]unbearable but the African population blessed with Incredible amount of strength the
[56:13]black population when you look at their physical capacities is incredible they're
[56:17]enormously blessed even physically and unfortunately it became a curse upon them
[56:23]because of that and they became a commodity in the southern part
[56:29]to pick cotton because those Rich bigots of South the you know
[56:34]South the the southern part of the United States until today by
[56:37]the way abused these black people now the original slaves according to
[56:42]Howard Zin was white and blacks they were both kinds of slaves
[56:48]and interestingly bigotry did not exist among the slaves the white slaves
[56:52]and the black slaves actually worked together and they respected each other
[56:56]it's very interesting you and I might think that you know white
[57:01]people are just naturally racist no not at all not at all
[57:03]it's designed by a group of people to promote this poison as
[57:10]I mentioned yesterday institutional racism is not a natural thing a white
[57:14]person does not naturally think they're better than a black person there's
[57:18]some intrusion that comes into that interestingly these white slaves and black
[57:21]slaves according to Howard Zin who passed away states that they work
[57:25]together and the slave owners found this to be against their principles
[57:32]so they started giving land ownership to the white slaves and the
[57:37]black slaves were not allowed any ownership they had no income no
[57:41]salary they were objectified and they were sold like an object so
[57:46]that means when two slaves got together a male and a female
[57:49]in a compound and then they had children then the owner decides
[57:54]to sell the mother or the father or the children they would
[57:56]destroy the family and that went on for Generations so when you
[58:02]and I see the black population today suffering it's by design made
[58:06]them to make that way and if you see the incarceration rate
[58:10]of African-American people and the Hispanics it's not because genetically they're deficient
[58:15]they're socially engineered to be marginalized and it is the work of
[58:21]el and I beg us all you and I should not have
[58:25]anything anything to do with it and if anything there is to
[58:29]do with it you and I going to be opponents of it
[58:32]and we're going to be vocal Fighters against it for if there's
[58:36]one thing Allah despises is when the human race commits an injustice
[58:39]to another human being Allah loves when you and I are kind
[58:42]there's a beautiful Hadith of a man going to visit a sick
[58:46]man and a handsome man stands at the door of the sick
[58:52]man's house and this man is visiting and this handsome man says
[58:57]Salam he said alaykum Salam he said I have come to say
[59:03]hello to you the handsome man is saying to this man visiting
[59:07]the sick man he said this man you're going to visit is
[59:12]he related to you he said no is he your blood blood
[59:13]relative he said no he said why are you visiting he's sick
[59:18]and he's a Believer so the handsome man says Allah has sent
[59:23]me I'm an angel to send Salam to you for me I've
[59:28]have come to say Salam to you by the command of God
[59:32]that God is so pleased with you that you're visiting a sick
[59:35]man because that is the true actions of a Believer not to
[59:41]enslave them not to belittle them not to insult them that when
[59:45]somebody's even sick the messenger of Allah there was a Jewish woman
[59:50]who used to throw trash on him and the messenger would Ward
[59:53]it off every morning one day she didn't he inquired and found
[59:58]out she was sick who would go visit such a woman who
[60:03]was throwing trash on the messenger of Allah the actions of a
[60:06]Muslim who's the best role model for Humanity when Allah said here's
[60:11]the example of why he's the best role model he knocks on
[60:16]her door he enters the house and she inquires who is it
[60:18]she says this messenger she knew who he was she was surprised
[60:23]to see him he said I've come to visit you cuz I
[60:29]heard you're not well would you and I ever do that I
[60:31]promise us we are so vindictive if somebody says one bad thing
[60:36]we want their whole generation to disappear we're so angry how dare
[60:45]look at how the messenger was how loving forgiving caring sharing he
[60:50]was to the extent that he goes and visits this woman and
[60:56]inquires about her Al habashi was a slave so many slaves like
[60:59]that the messenger loved them so much he got them married some
[61:06]of them married the Arab women there was jaabir who was who
[61:10]was of African descent and he comes to the messenger says I
[61:14]don't have any money I'm very poor and the prophet says go
[61:16]to fulan bin Fan's house and ask for their daughter's hand who
[61:19]was this girl that he went to ask the hand for she
[61:24]was the richest most beautiful girl in Medina how many of us
[61:29]would give our daughters to such a person we look for who's
[61:33]rich even if he's stupid he's got money in his bank account
[61:35]yeah let my child marry this guy and he's going to inherit
[61:40]some money our criteria is so upside down and of course if
[61:44]he has any mixture with the African descent no the messenger of
[61:53]Allah is the Sunnah do we practice that no honestly we give
[61:56]lip service but we don't I've seen it too much within our
[62:02]communities people make derogatory comments and it really bothers me I've tried
[62:06]a few African-American brothers who came from Haiti who came from other
[62:10]parts of the world Highly Educated doctors looking to get married found
[62:14]them a perfect girl within our community the girl really likeed that
[62:17]person the family interject hi this guy's got that background we can't
[62:21]allow this mixture this bigotry is Haram no one is saying go
[62:27]out and marry people of other cultures marry your own culture but
[62:31]don't stop when there is belief when there is Harmony When there's
[62:35]love don't stop it it's Haram so he sends jawab jawabi knocks
[62:40]on the door and the father opens the door he says why
[62:43]are you here he said the messenger sent me to propose for
[62:45]your daughter he looks at him he says I think you got
[62:50]the wrong house he leaves goes back to the messenger the messenger
[62:54]Smiles he says go back this time it will work the first
[63:00]time when he came the girl was behind the curtain she heard
[63:03]the conversation the second time he came knocking she told her father
[63:07]let him in if the messenger has sent him then he must
[63:12]be somebody very special now would you and I have such criteria
[63:15]you know jaabir became Shahid in the Battle of um uh I
[63:23]think it was aood and he was an a who had reached
[63:28]Shah in fact and the Shia say that he comes to the
[63:33]messenger jaab he says Prophet When I close my eyes I see
[63:35]everything I see angels I see everything the prophet looked at the
[63:42]companion says bear witness this man has become Shahed he has already
[63:44]become Shahed by the way you don't have to die on a
[63:49]battlefield to become Shahed Shahed means you have 100% born witness to
[63:52]God and shitan can no longer touch you and you can be
[63:56]alive and become Shahid so he become Shahed and then he looks
[64:02]at the prophet he says that shahada that I got which God
[64:05]gives me when I close my eyes is the lower level it's
[64:09]a high level it's a high level in his mind it's very
[64:14]high he said but I need to complete it so he says
[64:18]to the messenger pray that in the next battle I become Shah
[64:22]for I want to attain both jar and so he goes to
[64:28]the battle and he becomes martyred he's married this beautiful girl by
[64:33]the way has children history says she comes to collect his body
[64:39]and the camel wouldn't move takes his body he pulling the body
[64:43]so one companion said to her don't move this body jawab had
[64:46]a will that wherever he Shahid he wants to be buried there
[64:51]now a man like him sent by the messenger of Allah is
[64:56]an indicator of what we call the real merits of a true
[64:59]Muslim the messenger of Allah was like that Did You Know by
[65:05]the way that more than 50% of our imams married slave women
[65:09]it's a surprise even our ninth Imam he was known as Aswad
[65:17]black people say really I said if I told you white you
[65:20]wouldn't say really why is it really like as if there's something
[65:25]cursed you know like really like if Imam Mahi came with you
[65:28]know darker skin really said he's going to be blonde hair and
[65:36]blue eyes masallah muham muham amazing when the entire human race is
[65:45]beautiful you know I go to Africa and I see these Africans
[65:49]they say Subhan Allah for how magnificent is this creation I see
[65:54]little kids running on the streets I say what a magnificent creation
[66:00]what has the human race done in their stupidity to do this
[66:04]Haram thing they have damaged them now let me get into the
[66:07]abolishment of slavery the wisdom of Allah subhana tala Abraham Lincoln signed
[66:14]the Emancipation Proclamation more than a century ago as the president and
[66:23]when he signed it he freed the black people the slaves it
[66:28]included the non-blacks what we don't realize is when that Emancipation Proclamation
[66:33]was signed it wasn't because there was a care for black people
[66:36]or for slaves it was because it was not economically viable anymore
[66:40]for the people of the South to maintain slaves they had had
[66:45]a double-edged sword now here's when the problem started they took them
[66:50]and said go go you're free what do I do never earned
[66:57]salary never had a job always been in in Chains and I've
[66:59]always been put in a cocoon moved from one place to another
[67:04]damaged damage damage now you're just releasing me how does a person
[67:07]do that we think oh we freed the slaves didn't we no
[67:13]you didn't you enslaved them a different way that until today the
[67:16]slums are filled with those same generations of slaves Islam took a
[67:22]different approach The Genius of Allah that Allah has pegged my faith
[67:27]into the freedom of slaves verse 177 of I mentioned one of
[67:39]the conditions of righteousness is you free a slave now how did
[67:43]Islam address it if Islam was to eradicate the existence of slavery
[67:50]it wouldn't be able to transact therefore it allowed that the existential
[67:55]nature of Slavery to be accepted from a transactional point of view
[67:59]which implied that a Muslim if they have wealth should go and
[68:04]buy slaves from the slave owner you might say but you're buying
[68:08]a slave yes because that transaction is essential and our imams and
[68:13]Prophet used to do that buy the slaves bring them into his
[68:16]house now another phase comes in was a three-prong attack one purchase
[68:24]them second raise them how do you raise them well you have
[68:28]to give them comfortable environments you cannot abuse them you cannot whip
[68:31]them the way the Christians and the Muslims and the Arabs used
[68:35]to whip a slave and then go to the mosque in the
[68:37]church and say hallelujah what a contradiction in life you just whip
[68:45]the creation of God and here you asking for you know forgiveness
[68:48]from God Allah says forgiveness you Monster look what you're doing how
[68:55]dare you belittled my creation you have the audacity to come and
[68:59]ask for prayers people do that slave owners did that in Islam
[69:03]the most elegant part of this whole eradication of slavery was as
[69:10]follows you and I as rich as we may be want Allah
[69:17]to forgive us it's called kafara kafara is a penalty you pay
[69:25]if you violate let's say fasting let's say you broke your fast
[69:29]without any reason okay then you're going to have to now fast
[69:33]for 60 days right or free a slave you see or feed
[69:40]60 there's a kafar you can afford but here's the masterful idea
[69:44]what happens is these slaves now are brought into the house and
[69:49]taught to read and write and transact and our imams and Prophets
[69:52]would pay them a stien a salary for working on the fields
[69:55]if they cleaned the house if they were Cooks whatever in whatever
[70:00]capacity they worked they were compensated for they are being brought gradually
[70:05]back into the normality of society in the sense that your Sweat
[70:09]Equity now is getting compensated before there was no compensation and Islam
[70:15]gradually approached that and therefore those slaves that were bought were brought
[70:18]into the house of the Believers and Allah says You must take
[70:23]care of them and their quality of life must be at a
[70:25]high standard similar if not a little bit less than you but
[70:32]they must be within that SC scale Kar who was a servant
[70:36]of Imam aliam Imam went and bought two shirts a used shirt
[70:41]and a new one he comes home and he gives the new
[70:44]shirt to karar says you're the master you're my master why are
[70:51]you giving me the new shirt look how Imam replies him he
[70:56]says you young young and beautiful and handsome you deserve it you
[71:00]didn't say I feel sorry for you you know you poor chap
[71:05]you know some people okay come let me give you $100 I
[71:10]feel sorry for you go go go kind speech and forgiveness is
[71:16]better than charity followed by injury oh I feel sorry for you
[71:19]how dare you do that to your poor servant our imams were
[71:23]like that they were so gentle that the Imam is looking at
[71:26]this servant of his and saying you are you are younger than
[71:30]me the shirt looks better on you this is the AK that
[71:32]you and I need to follow FDA who was the servant of
[71:36]faat Zahra by the way these servants were not really slaves they
[71:40]were freed slaves but they refused to let go they gave an
[71:47]oath to remain with the prophet like Z harth with the messenger
[71:54]of allahar you see f now the amazing thing about fiz I
[71:59]want us to understand think about this they say in her later
[72:02]life after the Quran was revealed she never spoke her own words
[72:05]till her death she only spoke the Quran now I would like
[72:11]for us to understand at what time did this servant get time
[72:15]to learn the Quran you know if you're a servant you making
[72:19]them work like donkeys in the house at what time did this
[72:26]blessed lady learn the Quran our lady fa Alam used to tell
[72:29]fza one day you cook one day I cook do we have
[72:34]owners like that who do who deal with their slaves that way
[72:40]no way I was in Africa visiting one of my relatives after
[72:42]I ate on the table I picked up my plate my uncle
[72:45]looked at me says what are you doing I said I just
[72:48]ate I'm going to take the plate to the to the kitchen
[72:52]he says don't do that I got the servants I said okay
[72:54]then I'm going to help the servants don't do that you'll spoil
[72:57]them man I'm damned if I do I die if I don't
[73:01]what are you talking about like let them be slaves and then
[73:06]if you serve them they may ask for more money hey since
[73:08]when are you so afraid of bankruptcy then maybe he should leave
[73:11]give him all your money and you should work and clean I
[73:15]didn't say that too much in my head I'm thinking like thank
[73:17]God I'm living in America I don't have servants in my house
[73:22]thank God I'm independent at least I cook and I clean myself
[73:25]and I'm not so lazy but we have that mentality we are
[73:28]paying you you better work our imams would share a day can
[73:36]you imagine who did this in history do we follow this protocol
[73:38]well all many of us we're Muslims go to the Middle East
[73:43]and see those you know Filipinos and people who come from Asia
[73:46]the way their masters deal with their servants like they are you
[73:50]know objects and abused and hardly paid salaries is that the Islam
[73:56]you and I need to follow I promises you go to Hajj
[74:01]you go to Zara you give all your charity in the world
[74:03]you do this Allah is probably going to throw all our Deeds
[74:09]away because it's no different than what El did in front of
[74:13]Adam I'm sorry to say that but that's my belief and you
[74:18]can hold me liable for it for all I care what I'm
[74:20]trying to say is the prong that was the most powerful prong
[74:26]was you train them then Aid comes IM IM they were known
[74:30]they had hundreds of slaves on their compounds hundreds they all learning
[74:34]Quran F learn the Quran with fat Z they used to sit
[74:41]and read Quran together I'm thinking my God I want to be
[74:44]that slave forever who gives me such privileges that's what it did
[74:52]and that's what they did and for a servant of that caliber
[74:55]how many of us follow that Sunnah we say you know mashallah
[75:01]masallah you know we praise Allah and praise but do we follow
[75:07]this come on Allah says you promote good on others and not
[75:15]upon yourselves the third prong was the best one what happen is
[75:23]when you take the slaves and you train them and then onid
[75:26]and on any big event the imams would free hundreds of them
[75:31]say go you're qualified to be independent look at the approach in
[75:34]Islam of the abolition and the eradication of slavery in comparison to
[75:40]the Western Emancipation Proclamation which till today has never worked and I
[75:45]swear go on all the continents find me a system that eradicated
[75:51]slavery the way it should have been done from a social point
[75:54]of view in the St of in the in in the sense
[75:57]of curing the damage psychological damage social damage that a person may
[76:03]have gone through as a result of slavery you will not find
[76:09]a system like that Allah says what will make you understand what
[76:16]is this pathway right free a slave Allah says now what happens
[76:24]is here I committed a sin and I can afford it Allah
[76:29]says okay there's kafar you want me to forgive you yes Allah
[76:32]please forgive me Allah says go take a slave and free them
[76:37]so I free a slave when I do free a slave I
[76:41]can never taunt that slave till judge forever why because my whole
[76:45]is dependent on that slave that's genius so the belief of the
[76:53]believer the non-slave is pegged on the freedom and the growth of
[77:00]the slave who's freed that combination you won't find anywhere in the
[77:04]annals of History so the eradication of slavery came as a three-prong
[77:08]attack and it was the most ingenious thing imaginable Sal Muhammad Muhammad
[77:17]final point I want to make it's very brief but I promised
[77:24]I will touch on it it is with regards to the Yen
[77:28]Yen is certainty if there is one thing you and I all
[77:33]want it is certainty if we can gain certainty then we can
[77:40]be very stable we can become more focused our vision can last
[77:45]longer certainty we love people who have certainty y our prophets and
[77:53]imams had certainty the messenger of Allah says to his companions tomorrow
[77:57]we're going to fight the mckans first first battle in Badr and
[78:02]that battle took place in Ramadan by the way in the month
[78:07]of Ramadan the companions looked at the messenger said there's an army
[78:12]three times larger than us you seem very confident that we're going
[78:16]to win this battle there's only 300 plus of us there a
[78:19]thousand of them how are we going to deal with this well
[78:23]the messenger says hold my hand they held his hand and he
[78:25]took a step and they were in bad historians say and the
[78:32]messenger said here is where we're going to fight you know how
[78:35]much comfort you get when a messenger holds your hand and looks
[78:41]at you and says don't worry to have and certainty is not
[78:47]a joke [Music] this is the definition of certainty that when you
[79:08]remember Allah your hearts starts to become alive and when the signs
[79:15]of God are shown to them their faith increases and in God
[79:21]they have trust it's the true definition when you look at it
[79:25]from that perspective how do you and I have that level of
[79:30]Consciousness that when God is mentioned somewhere our hearts Pulpit but a
[79:36]True Believer their hearts never stop pulita they're always in awe as
[79:41]Imam Ali says I see nothing but Allah that means his heart
[79:45]was always palpitating even in sleep for then he saw nothing but
[79:51]Allah like I don't see anything but Mercy Beauty well but guess
[79:56]what her heart is purp pulita but here Allah says your Iman
[79:59]increases how does it increase your conscious you're submissive y are of
[80:08]three different types there is there is what we call three types
[80:17]of one point I want to make very clearly you cannot achieve
[80:22]total y on this Earth no nobody can nope nobody can total
[80:33]y requires going to the next World so now let me give
[80:37]you an example so what is the definition the true definition of
[80:43]y is actually death death equals y in Allah says submit to
[80:55]your Lord and do the work of your lord until certainty reaches
[81:03]you that our say means until you die now how do we
[81:09]say that well the Quran in Allah says this is the first
[81:34]level second level of the third is so the simplest analogy even
[81:43]for our younger Generations is when you see a fire in a
[81:46]forest from far and you see smoke coming out you don't see
[81:51]the fire you just see the smoke your logic with says there's
[81:54]a fire behind there but you can't see the fire then you
[81:58]walk towards that fire you go through the woods and you see
[82:01]the fire that's known as and God forbid you jump in the
[82:08]fire or you get near the fire then you get you actually
[82:11]feel the fire the Quran talks about that but notice now we
[82:21]say about our imams like IM Hussein Alam we recite in but
[82:36]did they not already have prophets and imams already had y so
[82:42]what is the Zara that you did you did you did until
[82:44]you gave charity you kept prayers you did you did you know
[82:49]you did uh you submitted to Allah you served to Allah till
[82:53]you got what it means is until you died that's why Allah
[83:00]says maintain it for that certainty will come to you when you
[83:06]die so does it mean we are now flawed because we can't
[83:09]attain totality of certainty no Allah expects us to make to strive
[83:18]toward certainty but there's no expectation for you and I to achieve
[83:22]it as long as we're trying Allah loves that even if I'm
[83:28]in the wrong direction even if I think my certainty is somewhere
[83:32]else and I went astray because of misinformation slash disinformation Allah will
[83:38]not hold me liable because my intention was to gain certainty but
[83:42]once you die all Dimensions change and you start to your soul
[83:47]starts to see things that were impossible to see and the certainty
[83:51]become so real that you real realiz oh my god wow so
[83:58]please understand the definitions of certainty my final point I want to
[84:04]make is you and I need to have a level of certainty
[84:09]in mammad Muhammad many people ask how can this Imam be 1200
[84:21]plus years old I you know it really baffles me how humans
[84:25]can ask such silly questions how can you be trou I mean
[84:32]we know historically Our Generations used to live for thousands of years
[84:39]the carcinogens in in the air was much less and lifespan was
[84:42]much longer and in certain periods it were shorter in the Roman
[84:46]Empire average lifespan was 35 people died after 35 but in our
[84:51]modern day today it's over 80 mashallah and tomorrow it could be
[84:57]over 100 maybe 150 God only knows it changes but whether it's
[85:01]100 or 100,000 years come on please Shan has been living for
[85:05]thousands of years how is he living every all of us have
[85:11]no problem with Shan living for thousands years but how does a
[85:15]man live why what kind of a question is that Allah is
[85:17]the one who dictates who lives and who dies and if God
[85:21]decides for somebody to live for a billion years it's no different
[85:25]than a person person lives for a second for God decrees so
[85:27]let's not ask this question how can the Imam be 1200 years
[85:32]old it's only logical that Allah has kept him that way and
[85:38]let me tell you one of the reasons why in Bak we
[85:40]talk about you know they believe in the Unseen our modern Imam
[85:46]is the Unseen Imam our Imam let's go back in history and
[85:50]find out imams were seen among the people transacted what was their
[85:54]objective to guard and protect the message of the prophet and to
[86:00]reflect the message of the Prophet those people who took the seat
[86:03]of power they didn't reflect the message of the Prophet the the
[86:06]message of the Prophet they deflected the message of the Prophet they
[86:11]didn't reflect they deflected that's why we have so many schools of
[86:15]thought schools of thought that came were deflections not Reflections only the
[86:21]school of albate if you understand it carefully was a reflection of
[86:26]the messenger how come well they were the Guardians of the message
[86:29]he said the prophet said I am the city of knowledge Ali
[86:39]is the gate whoever wants to come into the city must enter
[86:41]the gate Imam is the guide and the protector our imams were
[86:44]Guardians and they were transactional for periods of time and they maintain
[86:49]the trajectory of expressing the Sunnah of the Prophet for a specific
[86:54]period of time let me explain very briefly I won't take too
[86:57]long the messenger of Allah lived for 63 years on Earth 40
[87:03]years he was silent that means he was active for 23 years
[87:06]after 23 years roughly 18 years he was on the battlefield defending
[87:10]against the enemies who were attacking him he was left with probably
[87:17]six seven years even at most eight years you cannot receive all
[87:20]the laws of God in terms of the Sunnah of the prophet
[87:25]in a span of 8 years within the time that they lived
[87:27]in especially when it came to Transportation when it came to information
[87:31]distribution we they didn't have internet they didn't have social media they
[87:36]didn't have fast moving cars they didn't have aircrafts it took time
[87:40]so if you want to understand the gravity of the delivery of
[87:46]the messenger of Allah it was very difficult to do so Allah
[87:50]is merciful and therefore he has given 12 imams who are his
[87:54]reflection a the prophet said that no religion by the way has
[88:08]this it's incredible when you study all the other schools of thought
[88:12]none of them have this okay so I'm out of time within
[88:14]this few minutes very very important to understand Imam M Alam has
[88:21]a unique position for the 11 imams they were delivering and reflecting
[88:25]the message of the Prophet so when people had any questions about
[88:28]the sun of all we had to do was look at the
[88:32]imams because they were no different than the prophet because Allah says
[88:37]why here in Arabic it's meaning it's singular in the Quran implies
[88:44]three groups of people are one whatever they do it is like
[88:47]Allah doing it therefore the third group who are the imams and
[88:49]the prophet are exactly what Allah wants and God gave us the
[88:55]sun of for a protracted period of over two centuries mashallah now
[89:02]that's fair get it but here's the dynamic that didn't happen that
[89:06]we were so dependent on our imams to give us rulings that
[89:11]IAD was minimum in our heads isad is the struggling to know
[89:14]the truth but because the imams gave us all the criteria and
[89:18]Allah has established it himself through 124,000 prophets and the prophet establishing
[89:23]the final of the religion of Islam we had all the foundations
[89:27]necessary for you and I to be independent thinkers while we submitted
[89:31]to the prophet and therefore it was only logical that when the
[89:37]Imam went into hiding itad became alive so the Believers were forced
[89:41]because the Imam was behind the curtain they were forced now to
[89:45]derive the dean that was left to them by the prophet and
[89:50]the imams the Imam is prevalent Among Us he does affect us
[89:53]he does does respond to us you might ask how well let's
[89:59]look at the antithesis of it Shan does disturb us he does
[90:03]whisper into us and he does cause US problems so why would
[90:09]he be allowed such and not the opposite H that's why Shan
[90:12]asked to be given respite till the day of judgment because he
[90:16]knew the agent of God will always be on earth till the
[90:18]day of judgment so I end with this inshallah and I beg
[90:22]Allah subh T to forgive us and give us the inshah to
[90:27]reach good spirituality and please I can't stress that if you and
[90:32]I want to be accepted by God as much as you and
[90:36]I should improve our prayers maintain our prayers improve our understanding of
[90:40]the Quran memorize the Quran take a Chapter and fall in love
[90:43]with it walk it and talk it all of these are essential
[90:48]but I cannot stress our social obligation of respect for each other
[90:57]Unity hold on to the Rope of Allah love each other forgive
[91:03]each other share our wealth for each other and don't allow backbiting
[91:07]and fault finding Allah despises it if you and I can maintain
[91:11]that kind of a behavior okay and we can love Humanity doesn't
[91:16]matter what religion you are and it doesn't matter what skin color
[91:21]you have you just see that person and you see God Allah
[91:24]says most likely your prayer is accepted but for you and I
[91:29]to be bigots and to look down on people and to create
[91:30]trouble while we pray and go for zat and we go for
[91:35]Hajj Allah probably throws it out the window because it doesn't make
[91:38]sense because the whole function and purpose of those transactions is precisely
[91:43]to make us submissive individuals that are amicable amiable attractive may Allah
[91:51]bless us inshallah I want to thank Maka I want to thank
[91:54]s and his team his wife I've seen her you know um
