[0:53]with two companions at your side at all time but these aren't

[1:01]any average companions because you cannot see them they are completely invisible

[1:09]but they're always at your side they always surround you no matter

[1:14]where you go these two companions are not just invisible but they're

[1:19]completely silent you never hear them speaking they don't talk to you

[1:23]they don't engage with you all they do is they watch you

[1:33]they monitor you and they just write and write and write every

[1:37]word that you utter they write it every glance that you take

[1:45]they write it every move that you make they write it in

[1:48]a book and there is no way that you can run away

[1:53]from these two anywhere you go they'll come after you they'll be

[1:56]with you you can't hide from them you can't run away from

[2:02]them and once they complete this book they will present it to

[2:05]you and you will have a chance to read everything that you

[2:10]did and said in your life it will be number one the

[2:16]longest book you've ever read in your life it will be the

[2:19]most important book that you ever read in your life and that

[2:24]is because that book will decide your fate on the day of

[2:31]judgment that book that will be presented to you will either make

[2:33]or break your day of judgment these two companions brothers and sisters

[2:38]are angels that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has set and appointed for

[2:46]every human being Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala when the human being becomes

[2:51]M when be when we become responsible adults and Allah aael starts

[2:56]holding us accountable for our Deeds Allah subhah wa ta'ala appoints two

[3:03]angels for every human being these two angels just keep track of

[3:11]our he says in the Holy [Music] Quran Allah says there are

[3:26]Keepers that record everything that you do there are Keepers that watch

[3:31]monitor everything you do they know everything that you do everything you

[3:34]say and they will write it and these are the two angels

[3:40]that Allah subhah wa ta'ala has appointed for every human being every

[3:44]human being has their own personal to Angels the one on the

[3:48]right Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala instructs to write your good deeds the

[3:53]one on the left Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala instructs to write your

[4:00]bad Deeds Allah says in the Holy Quran Allah subhah wa taala

[4:10]says that these two angels are to your right and to your

[4:13]left they're just monitoring what you do watching closely what you do

[4:17]and they record tonight I'd like to speak about the these two

[4:22]angels brothers and sisters so that we can understand we are never

[4:25]alone in life yes there is the shatan who's always there and

[4:28]he's always whispering and he never never leaves us alone but Allah

[4:31]subhanahu wa ta'ala has also entrusted two angels to constantly monitor oural

[4:38]our actions and not just monitor it but they recorded in a

[4:44]book that will be presented to us on the day of judgment

[4:47]so who are these two angels what exactly did they record and

[4:52]how can we be on their good side because you want these

[4:54]two angels to be friends to be allies not foes you would

[4:59]not want them to be your enemies when they know everything that

[5:02]you did and they wrote it who are these two angels the

[5:07]say the one on the right that writes The Good Deeds his

[5:10]name is ra ra and the one on your left his name

[5:16]is so everyone has his own it's not one for every human

[5:22]being no I have my own and I have my own and

[5:27]every single one of you the same thing now what exactly did

[5:30]these two Angels write these two angels write three things brothers and

[5:35]sisters listen carefully number one the first thing that that they are

[5:40]ordered by Allah to monitor closely and to record is your words

[5:44]every word that you speak they write it on that book Allah

[5:50]says this in the Holy Quran every word that you say that

[5:59]you utter every word that you utter in life you will find

[6:06]and they are ready to write these words if it is something

[6:11]good RA will write it on the right side if it's something

[6:17]bad if it's something impure then the other angel will write it

[6:20]on the other side everything we say brothers and sisters and you

[6:26]would be appalled brothers and sisters when you read about studies that

[6:30]tell us how much an average human being speaks per day how

[6:35]many words do we say per day when you realize how much

[6:41]we talk then you understand why it's important that Allah subhah wa

[6:45]ta'ala writes all of that because there's so much it has to

[6:48]be written and recorded how many words do we speak on average

[6:52]brothers and sisters you can Google this there's been many studies the

[6:57]average human being according to most studies says 16,000 words per day

[7:03]per day we're a very talkative creation brothers and sisters 16,000 words

[7:12]per day and this is the average there are people that talk

[7:15]way more than that right people sometimes whose job requires more talking

[7:21]teachers speakers like me probably 60,000 words especially when I have lectures

[7:26]and U people who have to answer phone calls the whole day

[7:29]couns but the average is 16,000 now I have seen certain studies

[7:35]that differentiate between men and women real studies that state women on

[7:42]average speak more than men sometimes twice as much 1.5 times as

[7:46]much now not all studies they agree but you will find a

[7:49]large amount of studies they all mention this that an average women

[7:56]speak more than men why so that's a different topic and that's

[7:58]why I've I've heard from and marriage counselors they say that when

[8:04]a husband and wife come the most common complaint that they hear

[8:09]from husbands is my wife talks too much she talks too much

[8:11]and I can't I can't handle it anymore and when you ask

[8:16]the wife she says the husband doesn't communicate properly he doesn't talk

[8:21]he doesn't say anything so this is a trend that sometimes is

[8:24]found because some people they want to vent maybe this is their

[8:27]way to vent uh they talk they want to communicate and other

[8:31]people maybe they're not that comfortable in communicating like that but the

[8:38]average is 16,000 words per person that we speak now these poor

[8:41]Angels they just have to write these 16,000 words every single day

[8:47]now 16,000 words brothers and sisters on standard paper that's about 35

[8:53]pages every single day we produce 35 Pages worth of talk every

[9:00]10 days that's a volume that's a whole book there are some

[9:05]people that say I've not written any books I wish one day

[9:07]I can write books no Habi you've written hundreds of books without

[9:13]even you knowing it every 10 days we produce a book on

[9:17]average every month three books right if it's every 10 days one

[9:20]book so every month we produce three books every year it would

[9:27]be how many books 36 now if you live for 70 years

[9:33]7 years of after being M how much is 70 * 36

[9:35]those MA mathematicians 2,500 volumes brothers and sisters and Allah subhanahu wa

[9:41]ta'ala says that the this book of your Allah will present it

[9:47]to you I don't know who which poor Angel has to carry

[9:50]those 2,500 books some now that we see everything is digitalized maybe

[9:57]it's it's like an a tablet an iPad or something like that

[10:01]the point is 2,500 books and that's just the words that you've

[10:06]spoken imagine if Allah wants to go through every word that you've

[10:10]said and hold you accountable just reading that boring annoying book how

[10:14]many times we say w probably a thousand times every day right

[10:19]so they wah is the most common word probably here I think

[10:23]so just reading that book brothers and sisters will take forever let

[10:27]alone imagine Allah wants to ask you why did you say this

[10:30]why did you say that why were you so mean why did

[10:34]you yell why did you this why did you that that's why

[10:36]the day of judgments brothers and sisters is a very long day

[10:40]why because Allah subhah wa ta'ala wants to hold us accountable for

[10:43]what we say the problem is we talk too much we make

[10:48]our own trial more difficult on the day of judgment that's why

[10:50]you see here cops they tell you when they want to arrest

[10:52]you you have the right to remain silent brothers and sisters the

[10:56]best thing you can do in life is to remain silent for

[10:58]your in fact if all you do in life is you remain

[11:03]silent this is the easiest way to go to paradise first of

[11:07]all it's the fastest way so you can skip all that nonsense

[11:10]16,000 words a day and second of all what's in those 16,000

[11:17]words do we think about what we say brothers and sisters those

[11:20]words are they well thought of am I just being impulsive how

[11:23]many times do we disrespect other individuals do we hurt their feelings

[11:30]we backbite we lie so many of these words brothers and sisters

[11:33]when we say them they will come back to haunt us on

[11:37]the day of judgment when Allah subhanahu waala shows me my book

[11:40]of and that's why there's aith from where he says most of

[11:51]our mistakes and our sins are from our tongue it's a very

[11:57]small organ brothers and sisters but it's a very destructive Ive organ

[12:02]this organ the small organ the tongue and there's a famous Hadith

[12:06]that says if you think your speech is worthy it's valuable it's

[12:14]silver then silence is gold we've heard this right this is a

[12:17]Hadith silence is gold because if you're silent at least the least

[12:24]thing you're not sinning and said maybe I'm not doing good deeds

[12:28]yes when you speak speak you can do good with your tongue

[12:31]but the least thing that you can say is that when you're

[12:35]silent you're not doing Haram and this brothers and sisters not doing

[12:38]is the best thing you can do and this is what told

[12:42]after he gave us about the month of Ramadan the beauties of

[13:31]stay away from problems and and danger just control your tongue and

[13:34]you will see how everything will be so much better for you

[13:37]so this brothers and sisters is the first thing that the Angels

[13:44]these two angels are instructed by Allah to record everything we say

[13:49]once it comes out of my mouth but there's no way to

[13:52]retract it it will be recorded in that book this is number

[13:58]one number two the second thing that they are required to include

[14:02]to record Monitor and record in the book is our actions everything

[14:11]that we do everything that we every decision that we make every

[14:15]movement they will record it in that book likewise there's a study

[14:22]that I've seen from Robert University of New York it says that

[14:26]on average how many decisions conscious decisions does an a average human

[14:30]being make on a a 24 hours how many do you think

[14:37]60,000 words every single day how many conscious decisions 35,000 35,000 decisions

[14:48]conscious decisions yeah when you're sleeping probably you all left and right

[14:54]if you're sleeping next to your wife or husband you smack them

[14:56]but that's not conscious right that's not on purpose we're talking about

[15:02]conscious decisions 35,000 so on average every 2 seconds you're making a

[15:08]decision and when you make that decision they will write this is

[15:14]what he decided to do now why every two seconds how does

[15:17]it come all the way add up to 35,000 because when you

[15:22]look at certain acts that we do brothers and sisters it's not

[15:25]one act it's really a bunch of Acts together for example right

[15:50]5 minutes they will leave after 10 minutes they will leave after

[15:55]15 minutes after 20 are all these people equal obviously not the

[15:59]person who stayed for the 45 minutes they exercised much more decisions

[16:02]they did more than the person who attended 5 10 minutes right

[16:09]so some individuals they stay the whole 45 minutes they don't leave

[16:13]thank you to those that stay the 45 minutes but the Angels

[16:15]they will write minute one they listen minute two they listen minute

[16:18]three they it's not just they attended a lecture no this is

[16:23]not just one thing you have to break it down and even

[16:28]while you sit and listen brothers and sisters you're not just listening

[16:32]some people may think while I'm sitting I'm doing all the Talking

[16:36]you're listening you shouldn't be talking or at least I hope you

[16:38]shouldn't be talking right but all you're doing is listening but no

[16:45]think about it how many things do you do movements decisions while

[16:49]you are listening because we human beings number one we can multitask

[16:54]right and number two just monitor yourself how many times during your

[16:59]lecture do you reach for your phone because you got a notification

[17:03]that Angel's going to write it he looked at his phone 730

[17:08]times during the lecture sometimes we'll even take it and we'll start

[17:11]messaging I see some people laughing in the middle of the lecture

[17:14]crying everything different world I'm talking I think they're laughing at my

[17:18]joke seems like no they're laughing at a joke they're having a

[17:23]conversation with their friend right some people you just see them type

[17:26]type type I give them the benefit of the doubt inshah they're

[17:28]right my lecture hopefully they'll make it into a book but no

[17:34]they're probably working on their school their paper for school or I

[17:36]don't know something else but the point is every time you reach

[17:39]for your phone this is a decision you this is a movement

[17:43]it will be written in your book every time you look at

[17:47]your watch what time is it when is the say going to

[17:49]finish his boring lecture this is something that will be written in

[17:52]your book ofal you have a drink with you you take a

[17:56]sip of that drink of the juice of the coffee the whatever

[18:02]that will be written in your book of sometimes you just reposition

[18:06]the angels are ordered by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that they have

[18:11]to write even this because this was a conscious decision and it

[18:15]was an act that you did sometimes you yawn the yawn will

[18:18]be written sometimes you may just exercise or stretch right not exercise

[18:22]stretch in the middle of the lecture this will be if you

[18:26]pick your nose please don't pick your nose just example this will

[18:29]be written in your book of everything you do brothers and sisters

[18:32]and that's why that's why the study says 35,000 conscious decisions every

[18:41]day brothers and sisters it is all written and on the day

[18:43]of judgment we may be overwhelmed when Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala shows

[18:50]us all of that remember we said 16,000 that turns to 2500

[18:54]volumes that's just your words your actions is probably 5,000 volumes 10,000

[19:00]volumes and on the day of judgment brothers and sisters this is

[19:07]this will be one of the worst moments for us when Allah

[19:10]shows us that book the Quran says there are Traditions that state

[19:21]when your book ofal is complete there are Traditions that state this

[19:25]happens in the grave an angel will take that book and he

[19:31]will place it around your neck like a necklace the Hadith says

[19:34]you will feel as if the mountains the mountains have burdened you

[19:40]and you will carry it with you everywhere you go until Allah

[19:43]asks you about your deeds and holds you accountable the Quran says

[19:48]every human being here means their book their book of in their

[19:57]neck and on the day of judgment we will present a book

[20:07]to them you will find your book of opened Allah will tell

[20:13]you read read your book see what you did what you said

[20:17]you know what you did so you go you scroll through those

[20:22]pages and many of the Deeds that you find you did you

[20:27]will realize you will remember and many of them you won't remember

[20:29]we forget but Allah subhana wa tala doesn't forget those angels have

[20:32]recorded every single thing so this is the second thing brothers and

[20:39]sisters that they record everything we do is recorded everything we everything

[20:44]we say is recorded number three there's a third category of of

[20:48]things that they write what's what else remains if we say they

[20:51]record everything you do and everything you say what else is there

[20:59]for them to record they will even record some things that you

[21:03]did not do but you should have done at Salah time Allah

[21:11]calls you for Salah you ignore the Adan you're busy you're at

[21:18]work Sal you're sleeping you're watching a game you're eating you delay

[21:23]and delay and delay until the Salah becomes the time of the

[21:27]Salah expires now you you didn't technically do anything here you failed

[21:33]in doing something that angel on the left will right this person

[21:39]did not pray so there's a list of things that I didn't

[21:42]do and I should have done in addition to what I did

[21:46]what I didn't do but I was requested to do by Allah

[21:47]subhanahu wa ta'ala this person did not pray today it will all

[21:53]be written by Allah subhana tala by these two angels one of

[21:56]theat one of the obligations of Muslims is to enjoy the good

[22:05]and forbid the evil when I see someone committing evil brothers and

[22:10]sisters and I stay silent and I can speak up I can

[22:16]forbid the evil the angels will write this someone performed in front

[22:21]of me I was in a s was performed and I laughed

[22:27]with everybody else I did not forbid that evil that will be

[22:30]written or said I stayed silent I didn't do anything even if

[22:34]I stay silent Allah subhana wa tala will write that because I

[22:39]should have told that person look don't backbite don't make fun of

[22:42]other people this is Haram and the least thing brothers and sisters

[22:45]the least thing that we can do when someone performs and we'll

[22:51]talk about the tomorrow night I believe or the night after inshallah

[22:55]we'll speak about the righteous sahas how to have an Islamic sah

[22:57]what we can do what we can we talk more about this

[23:00]inshallah the least thing is don't laugh if someone is making fun

[23:03]of someone else frown in their face this is the the weakest

[23:09]of IM and this is a way in which you can protest

[23:12]the person that is committing that Haram so anytime that I fail

[23:18]in forbidding the evil it will be written I fail in doing

[23:21]a waj it will be written in that book so these are

[23:25]three examples of things that will be written in the book of

[23:28]my on the day of Jud now the question is what about

[23:33]our intentions your thoughts right now there's so many thoughts that are

[23:42]going through my mind nobody knows my thoughts Allah subhah wa ta'ala

[23:46]knows my thoughts do the two angels can they read our thoughts

[23:52]do they write our thoughts sometimes we will be thinking of good

[23:56]things sometimes we will be thinking of bad things so if I

[23:59]think of something bad something that is sinful will that be written

[24:02]when I think of something good will that be written my thoughts

[24:09]and my intentions there's a Hadith that Z one of the narrators

[24:14]narrates from IM or one of these two imams the IM says

[24:20]in [Music] theith or the angel has not been given the power

[24:31]from Allah to read your mind so if you are thinking of

[24:36]something then that angel doesn't know what you're thinking about so as

[24:45]long as he doesn't hear it as long as he doesn't see

[24:47]you doing something it's just a thought an intention he doesn't know

[24:51]about it he's not going to write about it the question is

[24:56]but wait a minute don't we have certain recommended acts that you

[25:03]can do in your mind and there are certain recommended acts that

[25:07]you can do without speaking without moving like what remembrance of Allah

[25:15]subhah Waal remembrance of Allah is a recommended brothers and sisters to

[25:20]do verbally to do it loudly and you say Subhan Allah alhamdulillah

[25:26]right but it is also recommended to remember Allah silently Allah says

[25:31]this in the Holy Quran he says and remember Allah subhah wa

[25:42]taala silently in your heart in your mind and also verbally say

[25:48]it loudly or you know move your tongue and say it read

[25:50]it so what if I remember Allah subhah wa ta'ala in my

[25:56]heart right now in my heart I'm saying Subhan Allah alhamd I

[26:00]just have a feeling of gratitude towards Allah subhana wa tala and

[26:05]I say Allah thank you for all your I say it in

[26:06]my mind the angel cannot hear this so he's not going to

[26:12]write that for me says thus when you remember Allah in your

[26:21]the angels will not write this who will write this for you

[26:27]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala you see Allah has placed these angels and

[26:32]they do not record everything they don't even know everything we said

[26:38]three things your words your actions and your failure to do theat

[26:42]but your intentions or let's say your thoughts this they don't have

[26:49]any access to that and thus the IM says only Allah knows

[26:52]the of any type of that you have in your NS that

[26:59]you don't verbally say and Allah Asel himself is the one that

[27:01]will reward you for it so it's not even going to be

[27:05]found in your book of because the Angels don't know about it

[27:07]Allah subhah wa ta'ala knows about it and he will reward you

[27:12]this is one example another example we have multiple Traditions from the

[27:17]telling us that when a human being this is one of the

[27:24]blessings and the mercies and the gifts of Allah to us when

[27:26]we make a good intention a that is good I intend while

[27:31]I'm sitting after the lecture finishes inshah I'm going to go to

[27:34]the mjid I'll pray two I'll read a page or two pages

[27:38]of the Quran you make a good intention numerous traditions of from

[27:45]from the IMs of they will tell us that you get rewarded

[27:50]just for making a good intention and not just you'll get rewarded

[27:54]the angels will write your good intention and this is the brothers

[28:00]and sisters listen to this even if you end up not doing

[28:02]it so I make an intention after this lecture I'll go and

[28:07]pray two ra when the lecture finishes H you know what I

[28:11]don't feel like it I'm tired you go home the angels will

[28:13]write in your book of that you went and you prayed the

[28:16]two the angels will write they won't write that you intended they

[28:22]will write that you actually did it and if you do it

[28:27]Allah will multiply it by 10 Allah subhah wa tala if I

[28:32]actually go and do it Allah will now write that I prayed

[28:35]not two 20 and Allah says in the Holy Quran when you

[28:43]do a good deed Allah multiply by 10 but if you intend

[28:50]on doing a good deed Allah gives you the Ed of that

[28:52]good deed anyway just for making the intention now the question is

[28:57]if our two angels if they cannot read our minds then how

[29:03]are they able to write the good intentions that we make it's

[29:08]intention is just a thought right it's just something in your head

[29:11]it's a decision in your head but you didn't do anything you

[29:15]didn't even act upon it they will write while he was sitting

[29:18]listening to the lecture while he was fasting whatever he was doing

[29:23]he made such and such intention to do good right they were

[29:26]right he did that good Allah subhana wa tala will give you

[29:30]the Tha they will write as if you did it how do

[29:32]they know that there's aith from IM the seventh Imam was asked

[29:40]one day how do the two angels know that we're going to

[29:45]commit a good deed the Imam says yes they cannot read your

[29:49]mind but when you intend on doing a good deed Subhan Allah

[29:54]this is the Hadith of Al IM Al and this is part

[29:59]of the world of the Unseen that we spoke about when you

[30:03]intend on doing a good deed the Imam says your NFS your

[30:11]R will release a good smell a good smell that we cannot

[30:18]smell the angels of Allah subhana wa tala will will be able

[30:21]to smell so how does the angel know when you intended on

[30:27]doing good he can detect with his nose that you made a

[30:31]ni that was good and likewise the Imam says if you intend

[30:36]on doing bad after this lecture I'm going to do this and

[30:40]this the Imam says that you will release a foul smell and

[30:46]that's how these two angels know of your intentions when it comes

[30:52]to good and bad so they can't read your mind but it's

[30:55]like you expose yourself because when you think of good you release

[30:58]good when you think of bad you release bad now the beauty

[31:04]of the system of Allah subhana wa ta'ala is that when you

[31:07]intend on doing good it counts for you but when you intend

[31:12]on doing bad it doesn't count against you theith of IM says

[31:16]when the angel the angel on the right side when he senses

[31:23]that good smell he tells the other Angel back off this is

[31:26]my territory now and he starts writing your good de deed and

[31:30]he waits until you do it when you do it multiplied by

[31:32]10 but the IM says but when you when the other Angel

[31:39]senses the foul smell now he tells the angel on the right

[31:41]now it's my turn and he can't write by the way he

[31:45]can't write he waits he knows that you've made the bad intention

[31:48]he waits if you actually do it this is when he writes

[31:53]it but if you don't nothing is written so you see how

[31:56]the system of Allah subhana T is biased it's biased for you

[32:00]why does Allah write your good intentions but not bad intentions is

[32:04]that fair it's not fair but it's in your own interest because

[32:08]Allah is merciful Allah wants this system this life to be easier

[32:15]brothers and sisters don't think that it's hard to please Allah subhana

[32:19]tala it is not we read in Du Allah is so easily

[32:26]pleased it is much easier to please Allah than any human being

[32:30]just make a good intention Allah rewards you for it even if

[32:35]you did nothing but if you have a bad intention Allah says

[32:37]as long as you don't act upon it I'm not going to

[32:42]do anything I'm not going to look at it I will ignore

[32:45]it and what's even better brothers and sisters there's a Hadith from

[32:49]where the Prophet says in the Hadith these two angels are are

[33:01]not equal the one on the right has more Authority and power

[33:03]than the one on the left why because the prophet says when

[33:10]you intend on doing something good he writes when you do that

[33:13]is what is good he writes it right away he doesn't even

[33:19]ask the one on the left but when you intend on so

[33:21]doing something bad we said it's not written even when you write

[33:26]it even when you do that bad thing the Haram the the

[33:28]prophet says the one on the left takes out his pen he

[33:33]wants to write it the one on the right tells him wait

[33:36]do not write it the one on the left says but he

[33:38]did it he did the Haram it wasn't just a thought the

[33:41]one on the right the prophet says tells the left I know

[33:45]but give him seven hours this is the famous Hadith of the

[33:47]seven hours this is the command of the one on the right

[33:51]and the one on the left has to listen the prophet says

[33:53]he says give him seven give him or her seven hours why

[33:58]seven hours because he may repent and if he repents your angel

[34:04]on the right tells the one on the left you're not allowed

[34:06]to write it it's not that he's going to write it and

[34:10]then erase it he cannot even write it and during those seven

[34:15]hours the Hadith says the one on your right is just praying

[34:18]please repent please repent please repent because the one on your right

[34:23]doesn't want you to commit har please maybe some good ideas some

[34:29]good thoughts he'll try to put in your mind you there's 6

[34:31]hours left 5 hours left 3 hours left 1 hour left please

[34:36]don't let that guy there's a competition between them the right and

[34:40]the left don't let the one on the left write it the

[34:46]seven hours is dwindling it's going to finish he's more concerned about

[34:48]me than I am and I'm completely in a different world so

[34:52]the Hadith says if you repent he's so happy he says you

[34:59]have no right to write it anymore back off and that one

[35:05]on the left can't do anything but if the seven hours pass

[35:08]and I do not repent to Allah subhah wa taala say feel

[35:13]regret and say Allah forgive me the one on the right is

[35:16]devastated and he says I tried my best to protect you I

[35:22]tried my best to prevent my partner from writing but you were

[35:26]sleeping you were another world you were completely negligent of Allah subhana

[35:32]T and of your own and then he says I can't do

[35:39]anything now you have no shame no ha in front of Allah

[35:40]now but it has to be written now remember even if it

[35:45]is written it doesn't mean you can't erase it you could still

[35:48]do Toba later but Toba brothers and sisters asking Allah for forgiveness

[35:53]when the sin is still fresh is much greater than when you

[36:01]do Toba later on and one reason behind that you know why

[36:04]is because usually why 7 hours because if you you usually if

[36:10]you don't repent that day you're going to forget about it usually

[36:14]if you want to do something you'll say I'll do it later

[36:16]on after a couple of hours but you're not going to do

[36:21]it you're going to completely forget about it so Allah wants to

[36:24]encourage you you did a sin it's okay repent but repent now

[36:27]because first first of all you're going to forget there's going to

[36:30]be too many things in your life that will distract you and

[36:32]we never know when we're going to die so that's why Allah

[36:36]wants to encourage us I'll give you 7h hour grace period don't

[36:39]sin the angel on the left has no right to write no

[36:44]right or I ght to write w r i t right it's

[36:48]like a tongue twister he has absolutely no hack no right to

[36:50]write anything against you to record anything against you Allah wants to

[36:54]encourage you Allah subhana wa ta'ala has made the system so easy

[36:57]brothers and sisters Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala doesn't want anyone to be

[37:01]punished on the day of judgment and that's why the system is

[37:07]tipped in our favor yes it's a it's it's a system that

[37:09]isn't equal but it's an it's not equal in our favor so

[37:14]we shouldn't be complaining we should be thanking Allah subhanahu wa taala

[37:19]and finally brothers and sisters the Traditions tell us that these human

[37:25]being these two angels are two companions they will accompany us our

[37:29]entire lives until it is time for us to depart this world

[37:34]when it is time to depart this world and move on to

[37:40]the next life the imams of ah bate state that if the

[37:43]person who's dying was a righteous person they will thank that person

[37:48]they will tell him Habibi thank you so much because you allowed

[37:54]us to write so many good things and you didn't preoccupy us

[37:57]too much with writing Haram because they don't like writing the one

[38:00]on the left doesn't like writing sins but he is commanded by

[38:05]Allah thank you so much for allowing us to write all these

[38:08]Good Deeds thank you for always keeping us in a good environment

[38:14]because these two angels they're stuck to you wherever you go they

[38:17]have to go you go to the Masjid they come to the

[38:21]Masjid they love being at the Masjid so they will tell you

[38:23]we will make sure to defend you any way that we can

[38:29]when Allah holds you accountable we will be the first two that

[38:31]will speak and say yaah Allah we witnessed him committing this good

[38:35]deed we witnessed him praying doing Salah Dua paying charity helping other

[38:40]people we will be an ally to you but the IM says

[38:45]but if the person was a wicked person constantly committing sins those

[38:50]two angels will tell you [Music] ald Allah the worst thing he

[38:58]did to us was to force us to be with you your

[39:02]life cuz all you did was Haram we just had to listen

[39:03]to music the whole day we had to listen to the whole

[39:07]day we had to come with you to all these Haram places

[39:10]that you went they will tell you may Allah not give you

[39:15]anything that is good and they will tell you that on the

[39:21]day of judgment we will be your foes we will witness against

[39:24]you don't think you can deny all those bad Deeds that you

[39:29]did because you gave us such a hard time in the D

[39:30]and we're going to give you a hard time on the day

[39:34]of judgment so these two angels say look Let's Make a Deal

[39:39]from now Habibi you treat me good now you don't do bad

[39:42]Deeds don't take me to bad places I will take care of

[39:46]you on the day of judgment but if you don't you neglect

[39:48]me you have no shame in front of Allah you have no

[39:52]shame in front of us and we have to follow you everywhere

[39:56]now we will teach you a lesson on the day of judgment

[39:57]brother and sisters from now on make a deal with them tell

[40:01]them my dear Angels on the right and especially the one on

[40:09]the left I will try my best to not get in trouble

[40:11]I will try my best to not not make you hear or

[40:16]see Haram and anytime there is Haram I will be the first

[40:20]one to forbid that Haram and in that way brothers and sisters

[40:23]they will be your allies they will help you they will support

[40:26]you Allah subhanahu wa taala will force them to do that so

[40:32]this is something that we have to be always careful of and

[40:35]I'll end with this beautiful story of 5 minutes and we'll end

[40:39]brothers and sisters a beautiful story that is narrated by Abu d

[40:45]one of his companions he says that I was in the Masjid

[40:50]of one day some of the companions started to mention the they

[40:53]were the the most of them second generation of the sahab they

[40:57]started to mention the great Companions of and which one was the

[41:04]greatest of the Companions and each one he mentioned a name and

[41:07]then they mentioned a virtue of that companion he says when it

[41:14]was my turn Abu D he said let me tell you who

[41:18]I think was the best companion he was probably the poorest companion

[41:22]didn't own anything from the dun but he was the most God-fearing

[41:26]he was the most righteous of them they said who Abu says

[41:32]he says everyone in the Masid they turned their face away from

[41:38]me they frowned at me yeah the name of Imam Ali brothers

[41:41]and sisters was too heavy on the hearts of some people they

[41:47]could not even hear the name of Ali and this is the

[41:52]man that saved Islam that protected Islam if it wasn't for him

[41:54]there would be no Islam but Subhan Allah look look at what

[41:57]happened after IM Ali died and how the people betrayed him such

[42:03]that when you mention IM Ali in a good way people are

[42:05]frowning at you what are you talking about they don't they don't

[42:10]even want to hear the name of Ali Abu D says but

[42:13]wait give me a chance let me tell you what I saw

[42:14]this isn't a Hadith I heard no this is what I saw

[42:18]he says in the city of Medina many years ago one night

[42:22]he says I was outside Medina and a of farms he says

[42:29]I was doing something there all of the sudden I hear some

[42:31]movement he says I hear some movement and I go and I

[42:38]look I see it's he's all by himself in the farm area

[42:42]so I start following him what is Ali doing here he says

[42:46]until he goes in an area the Imam couldn't see Abu D

[42:50]he made sure he's all alone he says all of the sudden

[42:53]the Imam began to read beautiful M all alone outside why did

[42:57]the Imam do that because the Imam wanted to do it by

[43:02]himself he wanted private time between him and Allah subhana wa ta'ala

[43:05]so that no one so it's pure between him and Allah no

[43:09]saysi didn't sense that I was there but all of the sudden

[43:15]I started to hear IM Ali reading the most beautiful words of

[43:18]Maat I'll just read you two three lines of these Maat of

[43:22]Amir brothers and sisters so that they can soften our hearts a

[43:26]little as we Embrace and welcome the final tomorrow brothers and sisters

[43:32]hopefully these words of IM aliam can open our hearts to Allah

[43:36]subhanahu wa taala so we can collect the Rah of Allah subhanahu

[43:42]wa taala he says I heard IM Ali says he says Ya

[44:15]Allah maybe I have spent my entire life sinning and IM Ali

[44:20]was sinless but this is how he used to speak to Allah

[44:22]because no matter how much he would do for Allah he still

[44:27]felt as if he had not done enough so IM Ali tells

[44:29]Allah yaah Allah maybe my entire life I have spent sinning negligent

[44:34]far away from you maybe this what Imam says when you look

[44:38]at my book of you will see many sins but no Ya

[44:41]Allah I will always be hopeful in your mercy I will never

[44:46]give up in asking for you to forgive me AB says the

[44:53]most beautiful words of from IM Ali and he mentions the book

[44:58]of in so many instances it's a longer but I'll just mention

[45:01]these passages that have to do with the book of he says

[45:05]the IM then continued so beautifully he did ma prayed and continued

[45:09]in his Maat he said then he said this he says yeah

[45:29]Allah I'm in a dilemma why why is IM Ali in a

[45:33]dilemma he says because from one side I think about your mercy

[45:35]and all of a sudden my sins I belittle them Allah but

[45:39]he says at the same time I remember that Allah subhanahu wa

[45:43]taala is just and he will hold me accountable for every deed

[45:48]and everything is written in a book and I cannot Escape that

[45:52]accountability so he says when I realize that all of the sudden

[45:55]my sin begin to burden me and I begin to feel as

[46:00]if I'm desperate I'm losing I don't know what to do so

[46:03]I'm in this dilemma when I think of the of Allah I

[46:05]belittle my sin but when I think of Allah subhana wa tala's

[46:08]accountability all of a sudden no I see that my sin is

[46:13]huge because I will be asked by Allah subhanahu wa taala and

[46:16]then look at the Hadith look at the the speech theat of

[46:21]this is for us brothers and sisters not for IM Ali he

[46:25]says the IM then he says yaah Allah woe unto me when

[46:49]that book ofal is given to me on the day of judgment

[46:53]and I start flipping the pages and I see so many sins

[46:56]that I have done that I have forgotten but Allah subhanahu wa

[47:00]ta'ala has forgotten what do I Do Ya Allah I deny them

[47:04]but there are so many witnesses that will testify against me Ya

[47:08]Allah please have mercy upon us on that day our books contain

[47:11]so much that we don't want you to see please forgive us

[47:16]so the IM is saying on that day of judgment what am

[47:20]I going to do with that book and Allah subhana wa tala

[47:22]gives us a glimpse of this on the day of judgment he

[47:25]says the book is distributed to every human being when the evildoers

[47:34]will be told by Allah go and read your book they're afraid

[47:37]their hearts are trembling because they see five 10,000 volumes everything they

[47:44]didn't said they start flipping the pages and they say oh my

[47:56]God what type of book is this every small every large deed

[48:01]to the most small to the smallest of things that I said

[48:05]and did it's all recorded recorded here what do we do Ya

[48:08]Allah Allah subhah wa tala wrote everything so IM Ali says Ya

[48:14]Allah please help me on that stage so that I am not

[48:16]amongst those people that I am constantly surprised by my I did

[48:22]I forgot I did this I forgot I did that problem is

[48:24]when we forget to repent to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala the Imam

[48:27]continued it's a very beautiful Maat brothers and sisters keep this Maat

[48:35]in your mind tomorrow night as we inshallah welcome Saturday night it

[48:39]is the night of repentance I'll speak about tomorrow night and what

[48:43]we can do to receive the r of Allah subhah wa ta'ala

[48:47]and the Forgiveness of Allah subhah wa tala raise your hands brothers

[48:51]and sisters Ya Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah let
