[8:51][Music] [Music] [Music] Please join me in giving our condolences to the
[9:23]Imam of our time on the waf of his beloved grandmother B
[9:28]Fatima.
[9:31]As mentioned yesterday, the Jamaat Treasury has set a target of £5,500
[9:37]to fund the running of the programs for Ayami Fatima.
[9:40]This year we have alhamdulillah managed to raise £2,645 so far.
[9:46]I encourage myself and you all to contribute generously towards this noble
[9:50]fund and I thank you for your support.
[9:53]We will now play a short video on behalf of the World
[9:57]Federation about their emergency fundraising initiative for Gaza in the face of
[10:03]winter.
[10:03]As a This is an emergency.
[10:14]There are currently over 1.6 million people displaced inside Gaza.
[10:19]Vast swades of the north have been cleansed of its population with
[10:24]people forced to find safety in the south.
[10:28]With water, food, electricity, and fuel cut off, the people of Gaza
[10:33]are left desperately trying to survive.
[10:35]But as winter begins to take hold, the already catastrophic situation is
[10:40]fast becoming a dystopian nightmare.
[10:42]WFA's Winter Appeal is raising emergency funds to support our partners on
[10:50]the ground.
[10:52]Every penny counts at this very difficult time.
[10:54]Thank you.
[11:04]Before tonight's majus, we would like to play a video and hopefully
[11:09]we can all follow and recite this together.
[11:12]It is one of the munaj of our ninth imam, Imam Muhammad
[11:14]Tak Jawad Alisam.
[11:20]It's known as kashif eliminating persecution and oppression.
[11:25]It is only a few minutes long but let us all inshallah
[11:28]recite this with a near for Allah subhanana wa ta'ala to ease
[11:31]the pain and suffering of the of the oppressed around the Good.
[13:33]Allah [Music] beloved.

[17:05]Muhammad Hassan Al- Shar his topic for tonight will be the forgotten
[17:09]sisters of Sa Fatima.
[17:12]Let us welcome him to the member with three loud salawat.
[17:31]Thank you so much.

[19:00][Music] [Music] Alhamdulillah.
[19:18]foreign [Music] [Music] Holy Spech.
[20:11][Music] Respected scholars, brothers and sisters, did lady have sisters?
[20:43]Are there additional daughters for the messenger of God?
[20:48]Is lady fat an only child?
[20:51]These are common questions that are studied within the field that are
[20:58]studied within the field of Islamic history and historioggraphy.
[21:02]When examining personalities of ancient history or medieval history or antiquity, one
[21:11]always comes to a common question around the nuclear family of whoever
[21:19]you are studying.
[21:18]Many times questions arise regarding prophet Adam and his nuclear family.
[21:23]How many children did he have?
[21:25]If he was married to one woman, Hwa and Eve, then how
[21:30]is it the case his children who were the only progeny could
[21:33]breed and continue procreating?
[21:38]These are questions that are often asked and research has been done,
[21:42]efforts have been made.
[21:43]And likewise, we pursue proceed and continue with the messenger of God
[21:48]himself.
[21:49]Beginning with Adam, ending with the final, we look into the nuclear
[21:56]family because it gives us questions to ponder on with respect to
[21:59]Adam.
[22:00]It's a theological biological one.
[22:02]How can the human race proceed if this is a nuclear family
[22:07]that began it?
[22:07]Which is a discussion for another time.
[22:09]And with respect to the messenger of God, we observe the following
[22:13]questions that we have made a consensus.
[22:16]The general agreement is that the messenger of God among his greatest
[22:22]of children and offspring is lady fat.
[22:32]In addition to a consensus regarding her two brothers that passed away
[22:41]during their infancy, the messenger of God, he is known as Abel
[22:46]Kasim, the father of Alasim and oftentimes as was the common practice
[22:50]of the 7th century Arabian Peninsula is that when you have a
[22:57]new child, you also give them a title alongside.
[22:58]There weren't really last names back then.
[23:02]So you would name the child and you would give him a
[23:07]title.
[23:07]So for example, Imm Hussein as he was born he was given
[23:09]a name and a must to do so.
[23:11]This is a practice that still is going on today around the
[23:15]world of the Middle East.
[23:16]It's a cultural practice but it's also from the Sunnah of he
[23:21]was given Abu Abdah.
[23:21]Now of course I im Abu Abdah he has the eldest of
[23:27]alkar ali Akbar.
[23:27]However, that's a that he received Abdah.
[23:30]Likewise, our 12th im may Allah in his reappearance is known as
[23:38]what?
[23:36]Alahi.
[23:37]But the thing is we understand that the journey and the timeline
[23:43]of Imam and Mahi doesn't record for us a marriage especially during
[23:46]the minor occultation and we're not too sure about what goes on
[23:50]in the major occultation in regards to the imam's private life save
[23:52]a few and details regarding the advent of his appearance but it
[23:59]is the common to give common practice to give a title this
[24:02]is not a title for him this is his identity my boy
[24:07]the first of My sons is also or otherwise known as soasim
[24:23]and abdah passed away though during their infancy.
[24:27]He then would later have from Maria Maria the Coptic who embraced
[24:36]Islam and formerly was a Christian.
[24:39]She gave Ibraim.
[24:39]Now it's important to understand the nuclear family as we mentioned because
[24:43]there are questions pertinent to the theology to the history that give
[24:50]us a better understanding ultimately an appreciation for the sacrifices our leaders
[24:54]went through.
[24:56]So he had Ibraim from these would be his three children the
[25:01]boys from the messenger of God.
[25:05]All of them we know exactly where they are buried in there
[25:08]was a map.
[25:11]It's no longer available that is distributed back in the day for
[25:16]those who did go to Hajj or did go or simply Z
[25:19]will remember that when visiting that there was usually a map that
[25:25]there was a way to identify whose grave is what that you
[25:27]are looking at.
[25:29]For those that have gone as soon as you enter to the
[25:31]far left is who then to you as you walk to the
[25:36]far right there are four graves are who the four at the
[25:38]head of them is Abbas the uncle of the messenger of God
[25:42]and then you keep proceeding you see some interesting Islamic figures you
[25:45]only heard about but now you're visiting their graves this is why
[25:47]z is important now you look at who's this who is thisman
[25:53]who is this abdah who is this and you're looking at these
[25:58]graves and now what was once story becomes manifest.
[26:03]Hence it's important to take yourself your children so that the events
[26:08]of are no longer just stories I am here now which manifests
[26:12]into a reality that can never shake away especially when you visit
[26:19]Medina and there are a number of graves however you can still
[26:22]identify who is who by some old maps that are available that
[26:26]identify the markings that this is Abdullah the son of this is
[26:34]alas the son of Ibraim the son of we know exactly where
[26:37]they are buried this is in regards to who the boys from
[26:42]the prophet who all died in their infancy back then it was
[26:45]complicated that a child would survive child um the childhood it was
[26:52]very difficult with what the circumstances were like we're not as privileged
[26:56]or that that society was not as privileged as this one was
[26:59]whereby you can provide them protection from the elements of that society.
[27:04]Now they were all born when after the of the messenger of
[27:10]God after he began the mission of Islam publicly.
[27:15]With respect to his daughters however or the acclaimed daughters of the
[27:19]messenger of God you will find two different opinions.
[27:24]However, the vast majority of Shia scholarship and our heritage and the
[27:33]overwhelming majority of the non- Shia scholarship have confirmed that there are
[27:38]only four daughters to the messenger of God biologically.
[27:42]Another opinion proposed by that suggests that the additional three daughters to
[27:49]the messenger of God from Lady Khadijah are his adopted daughters from
[27:59]Khadijah's sister.
[28:00]That lady Khadijah had a sister by the name of Hal that
[28:06]her husband passed away and they were unable to take care of
[28:11]one another financially.
[28:11]It's a woman and her three children.
[28:14]And back then it was a labor intensive society.
[28:17]The only source of income was by what you make by your
[28:19]hands.
[28:20]And farming was difficult for women of that society.
[28:25]building, working, war, trade.
[28:25]And so they found themselves stranded and this is Khadijah's who sister
[28:30]and her nieces and so she invites them come live with us.
[28:34]So some historians have proposed of the likes such as as well
[28:45]as Abdul Kasim Ahmed al Kufi who is a 4th century scholar
[28:50]who wrote a book called who says and he was the first
[28:56]to propose that the additional daughters are not his daughters.
[28:59]These are who his adopted daughters.
[29:01]He mentions the contemporary and the classical scholar that they came and
[29:06]lived with and it just became confused.
[29:09]It came a matter that was for people unsure are these his
[29:14]daughters or who are they because they lived in the residence and
[29:17]so it's difficult to make clear who is actually related to who.
[29:22]So simply assume that these were the daughters of the messenger of
[29:29]God.
[29:30]What is the Shia view by the consensus overwhelmingly of the of
[29:35]regarding this?
[29:35]Now, this doesn't mean whether or not a person embraces one opinion
[29:40]or the other that we go after individuals who disagree with us.
[29:44]I've seen many who made a clamor, how dare you say that
[29:48]the messenger of God had additional daughters.
[29:49]This removes from the of Lady Zaham.
[29:53]When in reality, if she had a million sisters, she remains father.
[30:01]Nothing changes about her.
[30:01]Her and do not waver based on who's related to her.
[30:06]Abuahab is the uncle of the prophet.
[30:07]But did that affect the holy prophet of Islam's greatness?
[30:09]Not at all.
[30:11]And in fact, it shows the opposite that even within a wonderful
[30:14]house, you can have a bad apple, but don't let the bad
[30:19]apple affect the other good ones.
[30:21]And likewise you can have from a very poor tree one good
[30:24]apple shine.
[30:25]We don't judge others on basis of marriage.
[30:28]We judge them on merit.
[30:28]And at the end of the day Allah is the judge not
[30:32]us.
[30:33]We don't know their backstories.
[30:33]But in this case the proposal is the following.
[30:40]from both scholars who came and suggested that to say the prophet
[30:45]had more daughters than Lady Zah is incorrect because of the following
[30:48]two reasons.
[30:50]Everyone pay attention to this.
[30:51]Number one, if you look at the daughters that are suggested, who
[30:56]are they?
[30:58]The oldest is the daughter.
[31:01]Then the second isool and lady Zah would be the youngest of
[31:24]them.
[31:22]The eldest would be the oldest by about 10 years difference from
[31:28]Lady Zah.
[31:30]All of the three were born during the days of Jahyah.
[31:32]Lady Zah was the only one born during Islam.
[31:36]The scholars that suggest that these are not the actual biological daughters
[31:42]of Allah proposed the following.
[31:44]Number one, Zab and were married to Mushri.
[31:51]They were not just unmarried, they were older.
[31:53]And so they had gotten married during the days of Jahyah.
[31:56]And who were they married to?
[31:58]As for Zanab, and we praise these women, by the way.
[32:03]We have nothing to say on them except good words.
[32:06]As for Zanab, she was married to a man by the name
[32:10]of Abn comes from the family and he was a mushik.
[32:17]At the end of the day, people in the days of Jahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
[32:20]if they were not on the way of what were they following
[32:29]either Christianity orah the ways of paganism was a mushik and so
[32:36]the messenger of god before Islam you could still be on the
[32:39]right path in which sense we don't believe Ibraim was anything besides
[32:46]a Muslim as the Quran suggests whatif he wasn't Jewish nor was
[32:57]he Christian he was a Muslim by the sense of the one
[33:01]who has submitted himself or herself to the way of Allah and
[33:04]the will of Allahh so Jesus was a Muslim and so was
[33:08]the messenger of God Islam was Islam before the prophet announced it
[33:12]publicly because the messenger of God needs to wait for the command
[33:16]of Allah now make it public.
[33:17]If Islam was revealed from the very beginning of the human timeline,
[33:21]things would not make sense because society is not ripe enough for
[33:26]this.
[33:26]Every era has its own circumstances that need to be addressed particularly.
[33:31]Imagine if the Holy Quran was revealed during the time of Adam
[33:37]or Isa or MS or Noah and they read it and it
[33:40]says, "Who's that?
[33:41]Who's Abu?
[33:43]He never came.
[33:43]Where's the hikma?
[33:45]So the society needs to get ripe enough so to speak, ready
[33:48]enough such that in when the year is 611 of the common
[33:56]era.
[33:57]Remember these dates in human history 611 of the common era announces,
[34:06]"Oh man and woman kind sayahillahill you will be victorious coming down
[34:11]from." So when he does that now that means the admission has
[34:18]commenced.
[34:19]The thing was Abdul the son-in-law of the messenger of God as
[34:25]many have proposed was not a moah on the way of Ibraim
[34:31]nor was he a Christian nor was he even a Jew so
[34:34]he can be a monotheist.
[34:34]He was a mushik.
[34:37]So some have now said how can he be the son-in-law of
[34:39]the messenger of God if he's married to who?
[34:43]the messenger of God's daughter who is not a mushri and can
[34:45]a non-mushri marry a mushri or can a non-mushri marry a mushri
[34:52]in the religion of Islam no so that's one observation the second
[34:58]was who lady the second eldest daughter of was married to Abuahab
[35:05]where do I even need to begin is condemned forget Abuahab his
[35:12]wife is condemned And is additionally condemned in the holy Quran.
[35:18]His son was just as evil as his mother and father.
[35:22]As we know this family, you can have the good and the
[35:26]bad and the ugly.
[35:26]We don't judge people based on who they're related to.
[35:30]Prophet Adam had but he also had prophet Noah had a son
[35:36]that disobeyed him.
[35:35]Many of these had wives that were rebellious.
[35:39]It can happen, brothers and sisters.
[35:41]Well, in this case, the son of Abuahab, what was he like?
[35:44]Of course, he had heard his father become condemned that this ayah
[35:50]was revealed.
[35:50]May Allah's condemnations be upon the hand of Abuahab.
[35:54]This hand which he uses to point at the messenger of God,
[35:56]go after him, go and make fun of him, mocking the messenger
[36:00]of God.
[36:02]Abu would do that constantly, harassing his own nephew.
[36:04]So God condemned the very hand he would use.
[36:08]What did his son do?
[36:08]He would use his hands to mock the holy prophet of Islam.
[36:13]So he would recite poetry and make hand gestures as such because
[36:16]oh you're going to condemn my father's hand.
[36:19]How about my hand now?
[36:19]He's doing these that acting foolish insulting the holy prophet of Islam.
[36:24]Word reached in Medina that is making a mockery of you and
[36:31]he thinks nothing's going to happen.
[36:33]He's challenged you and the divines.
[36:35]So what did Allah say?
[36:38]He said, "May Allah impose on him a dog from the dogs
[36:49]of hell." What the heck does that mean?
[36:53]A dog from the dogs of hell.
[36:55]That sounds scary.
[36:58]And so word reached the son of Abuahab that the prophet made
[37:01]a dua rather on you.
[37:02]and he doesn't believe in Islam but little and slowly he started
[37:10]becoming hysteric he says a dog from hell what is that going
[37:13]to mean so whenever would travel in the desert he would never
[37:16]travel alone because he's worried maybe a dog might come at me
[37:21]and whenever he hears barking he would never go to sleep it
[37:24]haunted him for the rest of his life because he made a
[37:27]dua because he knows the prophet's prayers are always going to be
[37:30]answered as he has seen and so one the son of Abuah
[37:34]who by the way let's not forget this is just context he's
[37:36]married to who the daughter of the messenger of God it's his
[37:43]son-in-law is traveling in the desert with a group of his Shabbab
[37:46]his friends and one day they become tired they said why don't
[37:50]you rest a little bit he said no just continue like we
[37:53]know let's just rest no just please continue let's not rest in
[37:56]the middle of the desert wild animals are here so they continued
[38:00]walking then they said listen buddy we're going to sleep right here
[38:02]cuz we're tired.
[38:04]He says, "Fine, I'll sleep on one condition." He's like, "What?
[38:07]How about you stack all the beds and I sleep on it
[38:09]so it's very high from the ground?" He said, "Yeah, Jaban, what
[38:13]are you afraid of?" He says, "I want to be high and
[38:16]you guys sleep around me like a circle and I'm in the
[38:18]center.
[38:19]It's like a a protective se circle.
[38:20]I don't know.
[38:22]It's like don't step over the line, you'll get in trouble." He's
[38:24]thinking, "Maybe this will protect me." And I sleep on top of
[38:27]it.
[38:27]So, I'm on a mount.
[38:30]He goes to sleep.
[38:30]Suddenly the hadith is found in every sah material from the works
[38:35]of Bkari from the works of the and elsewhere.
[38:37]It's found by a lion appears.
[38:41]What did the prophet say?
[38:45]A dog from the dogs of hell a lion appears comes and
[38:51]as everyone is sleeping it sees on top and it jumps and
[38:54]grabs him and eats him alive.
[38:55]His buddies wake up and they begin to narrate the hadith that
[39:02]was eaten by a lion.
[39:02]If a dog in the eyes of Allah is seen as a
[39:05]lion, what is a lion seen seen as in the eyes of
[39:09]Allah then?
[39:08]So this man was eaten up and destroyed.
[39:10]But who was he first?
[39:14]Married to who?
[39:13]The claim is the daughter of the holy prophet of Islam.
[39:19]So the scholars that proposed that this is not the case, they
[39:22]might have a point here because today if a man proposes to
[39:27]your daughter and he says, "I'm a wonderful man.
[39:30]I have a wonderful background, but I'm a kafir." You're not going
[39:33]to do that.
[39:34]Or how about if they're married and later on Islam comes, what
[39:38]happens to that marriage?
[39:39]Is it nullified or no?
[39:42]The response comes from the scholars who refuted this opinion.
[39:45]They said, "No, they were married to the daughters of Allah." However,
[39:51]when Islam began, it didn't begin when these people got married.
[39:58]So, there was no for them beforehand.
[40:01]Later on, it became haram to marry a man so to say,
[40:07]or a mushri if you were a m lady.
[40:10]But the and the ruling has not been revealed at that time
[40:13]period.
[40:14]That's why in respect to uh when a person embraces Islam, all
[40:20]their past is what?
[40:20]Forgiven.
[40:21]And you're given the option embrace Islam or no.
[40:25]Later on you will see what did in regards to the husbands
[40:28]of his daughters.
[40:32]What happened as for Z?
[40:34]These are we described by the way the forgotten sisters of she
[40:39]grew up with them.
[40:42]She saw them.
[40:41]Whether you believe that they were her cousins, the daughters of Hal,
[40:47]or that they were her actual sisters, it shows you that she
[40:50]at least was so familiar with them.
[40:51]They were in the house.
[40:52]That's for sure.
[40:54]In both cases, they lived with the holy prophet.
[40:56]What happened?
[40:59]Zan, the event of the battle of Badr occurred.
[41:04]her husband aln joined and she was unable to go and be
[41:14]with her father because the man has this iron fist over his
[41:16]wife and doesn't want her to go and join the messenger of
[41:20]god who he's going to go to war with so he keeps
[41:21]her in the home and he goes and joins the problem is
[41:25]what happened in the battle of bed who won the muslim so
[41:31]his son-in-law fell captive Andoolah says to him, "Go and bring back
[41:36]my daughter and I will relinquish you.
[41:40]I'll leave you.
[41:42]Just go and bring her." So Abu says, "If that's how I
[41:46]will win my freedom because we're all held captive and you know
[41:50]remember what the conditions was.
[41:51]If you want to be free, teach 10 children how to read
[41:54]and write.
[41:54]We'll free you." Abu didn't know how to read and write.
[41:56]So I was like, "I'm stuck now.
[41:57]How do I teach children if I don't know what to do?"
[42:01]So says no for you go and bring my daughter and I
[42:04]will give you your freedom and I will separate you.
[42:06]So the man says deal goes back to where Mecca.
[42:11]As he goes to Mecca he says you go and be with
[42:17]your father and I will stay.
[42:18]As she's on her way she gets on top of a carrier
[42:23]over a camel and she's with a few people that are returning
[42:26]her to Medina.
[42:28]her husband stays back in Mecca because he didn't embrace Islam.
[42:31]On her way, a man by the name of remember this man
[42:43]orb sees them leaving and he says, "Was that Zan, the daughter
[42:47]of the man we're fighting who just beat us in battle and
[42:50]now he's going to bring his daughter big humiliation.
[42:53]How is it the case that we're going to get insult on
[42:58]injury that he also wins and he wins his daughter back?
[42:59]You know what?
[43:01]Let me let me see to this.
[43:03]So, what does he do?
[43:04]Goes with a few of his buddies and thugs and they go
[43:10]and surround her camel and they begin to frighten it.
[43:14]In one report, they scared her as she's on top and the
[43:17]camel.
[43:17]They came close and it she fell off.
[43:21]In another report, they got a spear and they lunged at it
[43:24]without looking cuz the carrier has concealed with the curtains.
[43:28]You can't see who's inside it.
[43:30]And they just kept doing this until she fell.
[43:33]When she fell, she landed straight on her stomach and she was
[43:36]pregnant and she aborted the child on accident.
[43:38]And she had a miscarriage then and there.
[43:41]She began to cry and she was unwell and whoever was there
[43:45]taking her back began to fight off and his friends and then
[43:51]they retreated.
[43:49]The lady was returned back to Mecca.
[43:54]She couldn't continue.
[43:53]She was too close to Mecca anyways.
[43:56]She didn't make any progress and she was wounded and hurt and
[43:58]needed help.
[43:59]Where did she go back to?
[44:01]Has already migrated to Medina.
[44:05]Look at the oppression on the daughters of and not many people
[44:08]could relay them to you.
[44:08]So she goes back.
[44:10]Where does she go?
[44:10]She has no one.
[44:12]She can't stay with her husband because Allah separated them.
[44:14]So you know who she goes to?
[44:16]The only lady willing to receive her is hend.
[44:17]Hend.
[44:18]She stays with her because that was the only option.
[44:23]And Hen begins to rebuke her.
[44:23]She says, "All this has happened to you, it's because of your
[44:26]dad." And this is the oppression that they had to face then.
[44:34]News reached and you know how angry got as narrates, I understand
[44:38]the discussion is quite comprehensively historic, but people like history.
[44:42]As Duber narrates that I saw him frown whereby an anger on
[44:49]his face emerged the likes of which we've never seen.
[44:52]And he said that when we have the chance, he is wanted
[44:59]dead or alive.
[44:58]Allah rarely did that.
[45:01]Dead or alive.
[45:03]Bring him to me.
[45:05]Anyone that goes, catch him.
[45:05]I don't care.
[45:07]So he's angry and he's furious.
[45:09]So he's sending people and returning and no one can find him.
[45:16]And then he decides to still bring back his daughter and she's
[45:19]going to come now.
[45:19]She's vulnerable.
[45:20]Who does he send?
[45:23]He says, his adopted son.
[45:28]He sends him and he goes and brings her and this time
[45:33]quietly in the night and takes her away and she arrives to
[45:39]Mecca and she resides and stays there.
[45:43]Later on the second eldest daughter of Allah by the name of
[45:47]Kulum her husband we spoke of him Ib who Abuahab also dies
[45:53]because of the dua of and so now he has two of
[45:58]his daughters with him.
[45:59]We also mentioned he has so what happens in this circumstance gets
[46:04]married to who?
[46:09]The third which is for many a dilemma.
[46:15]How could the holy prophet of Islam marry his daughter to someone
[46:18]we may not necessarily venerate?
[46:21]observe the following which is also a incentive for many to conclude
[46:26]that it's hard for me to accept that the prophet had actual
[46:29]biological daughters because then we have to come to terms with the
[46:34]fact that the daughters of the messenger of God married people we
[46:38]dislike a lot and so the insisting on they are not biological
[46:41]has also this push behind it but it's not the case that
[46:47]because you marry someone that immediately means means full veneration as we
[46:52]mentioned prophet his wife would be fully venerated all of a sudden
[46:55]but she's not Allah says in the holy Quran that God gives
[47:05]an example of wives the wives of Noah and and Noah likewise
[47:12]so just because someone marries off someone or his his or her
[47:15]daughter to an individual that doesn't mean that individual is completely endorsed
[47:19]all of a sudden absolutely loved.
[47:21]I'll give you an example.
[47:23]Even the children there was an by the name of a uh
[47:32]he was beheaded uh sorry he was hunged rather in the period
[47:38]of Iran.
[47:40]There's even a photo of him in early in the early turn
[47:42]of the 20th century.
[47:45]In the moment he's being held up and hung up.
[47:47]The crowd that is surrounding him among the crowd is his own
[47:53]biological son and he's watching and he's clapping and people are observing
[47:57]that you are the son of that and and this is how
[48:02]you react to your father.
[48:02]Later on, it was discovered that this individual never was truly raised
[48:08]by his own father because of the circumstances at the time and
[48:16]that he was breastfed from a woman that wasn't his own mother
[48:20]who was a Mina, but rather it was from the neighbor because
[48:23]she had milk so that she could give.
[48:29]And it turns out that the neighbor was she despised and it's
[48:32]as if subhan Allah that what you give to your children early
[48:37]on will impact them later on in life.
[48:40]So definitely it's not a case of whether who you're related to
[48:43]can grant you a way to get to Jenna.
[48:46]In addition to this, an eye of the Holy Quran emerges, brothers
[48:49]and sisters, whereby it states clearly.
[48:55]We open up the discussion with this.
[49:01]Say to your believing wives and your daughters to cover up their
[49:15]figure with full covering as the practice of the time and the
[49:18]custom was that women would cover but not fully.
[49:21]And the messenger of God is being told by example of his
[49:26]own women.
[49:24]They were all covered.
[49:27]But Allah in order to deliver the message to the ummah would
[49:29]use the prophet as the best example here.
[49:31]But what does the ayah say?
[49:33]Tell your wives and your daughters with an s plural.
[49:37]If it was one daughter, many that have this opinion will come
[49:41]and tell you then it should have been.
[49:44]But the the plural of bent singular is now some might say
[49:50]but wait a minute in the Arabic language there's something called where
[49:55]you come and make a royal we this is called pluralis magistatis
[50:02]where you look at say you we shall make a decision.
[50:05]you're the only one making a decision.
[50:07]But when you use the plural, it's emphasizing a majesty that someone
[50:12]of a high supreme position will speak in plural.
[50:16]And also when I refer to youum and I look at one
[50:23]person, I say you multiple are from my family.
[50:26]But I'm talking about one person.
[50:28]This is only to honor you.
[50:29]You are worth more than one individual in my eyes.
[50:33]You are like multiple.
[50:33]So it's in that meaning.
[50:36]So, can God use this in regards to his daughter and say,
[50:39]"I'm going to refer to the one daughter of the messenger of
[50:45]God in the plural to honor her." The reply is the thing
[50:49]with that is Allah then continues to say afterwards and the women
[50:59]of the believers because God says and your daughters and the women
[51:09]of the believers.
[51:12]If the word daughters was meant to simply honor someone in this
[51:16]context, there's no form of honor here.
[51:19]It's simply tell your daughters because is coming.
[51:23]This is not a description that's meant to present an example.
[51:26]It's I'm trying to give you a ruling here.
[51:29]And so in ruling, you have to be very clear.
[51:32]So if you have multiple daughters, Allah will say in there are
[51:35]multiple daughters here.
[51:37]Some say but the plural of the daughters is in reference to
[51:42]all the women of the because every mmin lady is like a
[51:48]daughter to the problem is the prophet the ayah already says when
[51:51]right afterwards and so in this case many conclude that the ayah
[51:56]is clear oh messenger of god you have daughters advise them to
[52:01]continue maintaining their garments so that their figure is not shown but
[52:06]that they uphold hold utmost modesty and this is a research effort
[52:10]now the main issue for many was I can come to terms
[52:15]that there could be multiple daughters to the prophet but it's hard
[52:18]pill to swallow that marries that's complicated well it's not too complicated
[52:29]when you realize what that relationship was like number one we've seen
[52:36]a movie before where a great lady married a of her time
[52:40]and so it can happen in that case.
[52:45]But in this situation and the third Khalifa an event occurred that
[52:52]has been accepted unanimously that man's uncle alb was wanted by he
[53:06]was a serial killer and so very rarely would al would say
[53:11]that I want this person dead or alive.
[53:13]We said was one of them.
[53:14]And then this serial killer.
[53:16]Find him, capture him.
[53:18]But he happened to be related to who?
[53:20]He was his uncle.
[53:22]And so he was a bounty was on him.
[53:26]People were searching for him.
[53:26]Man knew where he was.
[53:30]And so he hid him in his own home.
[53:34]And what would he do?
[53:34]He told his wife, "Do not tell your dad about where I'm
[53:41]hiding my uncle." And his wife said, "How can I hide from
[53:48]my father what God has told him to do?" Because he doesn't
[53:54]act on his own accord.
[53:55]Whatever he does is revelation.
[53:58]And so he's told her, "Don't tell your father that I'm hiding
[54:02]my uncle here." Suddenly Allah receives revelation.
[54:06]The reality is you can receive revelation here.
[54:08]This hadith is found in ali narrates that received where his location
[54:16]was.
[54:17]Who does he send?
[54:21]Immin go and capture him and on the spot get rid of
[54:26]him.
[54:24]Immin goes to his home and in the home of man he
[54:29]doesn't find him.
[54:31]The man saw the imam coming from a distance and he hid
[54:33]him further and so the imam returned back to Allah and said
[54:38]yahasoolah I did not see himoolah says give it some time he
[54:41]will appear himself man couldn't handle hiding a wanted man so he
[54:47]decided to grab his uncle and said let's go to the prophet
[54:50]and we'll say you became Muslim that's the plot so the prophet
[54:57]is received by them amen to I've made him a Muslim.
[55:03]Allah says, "You haven't made him a Muslim yet." He says, "Yeah,
[55:06]I promise I made him a Muslim." Allah says, "No, you haven't."
[55:10]He says, "A third time, but I I promise he became Muslim,
[55:12]so free him." He says, "No, you haven't.
[55:14]And you have four days to be truthful with me or else
[55:20]I will come myself." And so took his uncle back and in
[55:22]those four days began to think what he could do.
[55:26]He had two options.
[55:28]either he said follows what the prophet said bring him back and
[55:32]just don't disobey the messenger of god or continue hiding him and
[55:35]ultimately face a doom what did he do he took a third
[55:40]option you go out medina and run away he says uncle I
[55:42]think you should go away and so after the fourth day dispatches
[55:49]I am again but this time he's already fled Medina IM Ali
[55:53]was told by through the revelation of Allah where he was hiding
[55:58]ing outside of Medina in the outskirts behind a tree.
[56:00]The hadith says, "Im goes and finishes him." When he finishes him,
[56:07]man heard that his uncle died by the hands of Imam Ali.
[56:13]Who did he unleash his anger on?
[56:16]His wife Kulum.
[56:14]He began to beat her severely.
[56:19]It was your you told your father and I told you not
[56:21]to until she sent news to the messenger of God that I
[56:26]am in this situation.
[56:28]Their of uh Hisham andb make mention very clearly also makes mention
[56:35]to this that he beat her black and blue such that she
[56:40]sent a message to the messenger of God through a person that
[56:43]went to the messenger's house and said this is her status.
[56:47]sent who again?
[56:50]Go and get and he says the following.
[56:54]Go and get go and get the daughter of your cousin.
[56:58]I am your cousin.
[57:00]Go and get the daughter of your cousin.
[57:01]So when he says the daughter of your cousin, it clearly means
[57:04]that this is my daughter.
[57:06]As I im the messenger of God are cousins and this is
[57:10]narration is indicated in kafi.
[57:11]So as he goes inside, Im Ali helps her, brings her to
[57:16]the messenger of God away from she goes to the messenger of
[57:21]God.
[57:18]He does something.
[57:20]What he now does is an indication that she is to the
[57:24]messenger of God.
[57:26]She says, "Oh, he hurt me and he hurt me in my
[57:31]back." And so she removes from the clothing of her back showing
[57:34]him the bruises.
[57:37]And in one observation if Allah was not to her, how could
[57:40]he see her in this manner?
[57:43]Another observation is noah is the messenger of God.
[57:44]He's the he needs to figure out the rule here.
[57:47]So he's given an exception like a doctor is in this situation.
[57:50]Either case, he sees the bruises and he keeps her here in
[57:55]the home until from her wounds she dies.
[57:58]She passes away and man is in this hysteric situation and state.
[58:06]And during her funeral, the women all come out and they carry
[58:10]her around Medina sayingahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahillah and they're going to bury her in at
[58:18]the head of these women is lady and before they bury her
[58:22]who prays on her body herself that couldn't handle standing looking at
[58:29]his daughter who was hurt and you know where your minds take
[58:33]you from that moment on but keep it to yourself for right
[58:35]now that if Allah can't handle seeing his daughter hurt such that
[58:41]he gives the salah of janaz to someone else then how could
[58:43]he handle what would befell his daughter later on in life but
[58:46]in any case ladies prayed upon her and who attended the funeral
[58:52]procession himself says and any hypocrite in this session needs to leave
[58:59]right now he's indicating you don't come in attendance because you were
[59:02]the cause of this So he's saying something in general.
[59:06]Any hypocrite in attendance, leave.
[59:07]Says it three times.
[59:09]After the third time, the messenger of God says, "If a hypocrite
[59:14]doesn't leave, I will call him by name." Doesn't want to be
[59:18]isolated like this.
[59:18]So he comes to the messenger of God and says, "Yah, my
[59:21]stomach hurts.
[59:22]Can I be excused of this gathering?" So let's go.
[59:24]You and your stomach.
[59:28]And so the man leaves as such.
[59:29]Later on the situation in Medina.
[59:32]Now the dilemma is not here.
[59:33]The dilemma is coming.
[59:35]By the way is very complicated financially and economically.
[59:39]The wars of battles and have taken a toll.
[59:47]So the messenger of God said who here is willing to spend
[59:51]in the way to arm the soldiers and to build the wells?
[59:57]Who here is ready to spend their money on doing that?
[60:03]I will promise for him a house in Jenna is very wealthy
[60:08]by the way.
[60:10]He says I will but I'll do it.
[60:12]However, I have one request.
[60:13]Can I marry your other daughter?
[60:17]This can be a problem for some because if you were the
[60:21]reason for the death of his other daughter, why on earth would
[60:23]you think he will give you his other daughter?
[60:26]Can I marry says it's not within me to make that decision
[60:32]right now.
[60:33]Let me ask her what she's want what she's want interested to
[60:36]do.
[60:37]And in the narration according to some that he asks her are
[60:42]you willing to sacrifice yourself like did upon marrying a tyrant of
[60:48]her time for the sake of Islam.
[60:51]She says indeed but under one condition.
[60:53]This is what that you said I promise whoever supports us financially
[60:58]right now a what in Jenna a house give me the house
[61:02]not to him says for sure of course he tells him but
[61:04]by the way when I said the house in Jenna you can
[61:07]marry her on the condition the house goes to her look they're
[61:09]talking about in Jenna he says that's the condition he says I
[61:15]will he does marry her but never consumates the marriage doesn't live
[61:19]with her doesn't move in with her and she becomes ill and
[61:21]passes passes away before the marriage was ever consummated in this circumstance.
[61:28]Now when all of these occur in the surrounding and life of
[61:36]the messenger of God, the one who saw all of this was
[61:39]Lady Zahar herself.
[61:41]It was so tumultuous.
[61:41]It was so complicated that she had to deal with problem after
[61:46]problem and miscarriage and that would later see after miscarriage that she
[61:53]would take it upon her to tend to her sisters and these
[61:58]were upright and chase women.
[61:59]They were examples for the in fact in the work of of
[62:05]he mentions aith of among the greatest the most beautiful praises to
[62:16]Imam's Hass Hussein.
[62:13]The messenger of God says How do you want me to tell
[62:32]you about the best of people?
[62:33]From their mother and their father, from their grandmother and their grandfather,
[62:38]from their maternal uncles and their paternal uncles, maternal aunts and paternal
[62:45]aunts.
[62:46]What goes on here?
[62:49]He says alass Hussein their mother is Fatima and their father is
[62:53]Ali.
[62:53]Their grandfather is Muhammad.
[62:55]Their grandmother is Khadijah.
[62:56]Their paternal uncle is also because the son of the holy messenger
[63:09]of God is Alas.
[63:09]So he makes mention to him and their their maternal uh paternal
[63:13]aunts paternal to whom are mentions by their name.
[63:26]And whoever loves them, Jenna is promised for them.
[63:31]And we today testify, ya Allah, we love the family of the
[63:34]messenger of God from all the sacrifices they had to endure.
[63:42]and from one daughter to the next.
[63:47]How you were furious that that the Abdul and contributed to the
[63:54]miscarriage of one daughter Zanab your oldest come and look at the
[63:59]miscarriage of your youngest because it wasn't an easy circumstance immediately after
[64:06]Fatam loses she's in a situation whereby look at the oppression She
[64:13]loses her hak of her property that belonged to her.
[64:19]She loses the respect of the town that respected her from how
[64:23]much she would mourn.
[64:25]The authorities would come and tell imming us.
[64:40]They are annoying us.
[64:44]So what would Im do?
[64:44]He went outside Medina and built a small home called the house
[64:50]of sorrows and he for her to cry outside of Medina.
[64:54]And from then on she would continue mourning Allah outside of Medina.
[65:00]Her rights were violated every which way.
[65:03]Even when it came to having a proper burial, she would say
[65:09]meaning I request from you.
[65:14]Make sure I am buried in the darkness of the night.
[65:17]Make sure those who brought upon difficulty and oppression upon me do
[65:27]not attend my funeral.
[65:29]I will for you the following.
[65:33]Make sure you watch after my sons Hassan and Hussein.
[65:38]Make sure the enemies of Allah do not harm them and pray
[65:46]and beseech Allah that justice will be served.
[65:50]Immin retreats to the grave of is with baby in the home
[66:02]and baby sees unable to move much.
[66:11]She says to her is there anything I can serve you?
[66:15]Zahar says, "Oh fah, I will retreat to my room and from
[66:24]there I will read the book of Allah and if you don't
[66:29]hear my voice, understand that I then return back to Allah.
[66:33]But one thing I require.
[66:37]Should Hassan and Hussein enter my home?
[66:41]Before you tell them what happened, make sure they go and eat.
[66:46]She's only thinking about their well-being.
[66:49]For if they hear that I am no longer present, then wallah
[66:56]they I fear will no longer eat.
[66:59]A say Zaharat retreated to her room with agony and pain over
[67:04]an ummah that betrayed her and an ummah that showed her injustice.
[67:09]Beginning by reading the word of Allah, saying [Music] Allahbar [Music] She
[67:32]begins to read the book of Allah would check on her and
[67:39]see is she continuing the recitation or not.
[67:42]And as she would check, she would hear her voice becoming quieter
[67:47]and quieter until she went to the room and no longer heard
[67:52]her say recides.
[67:54]until then she entered the room and she saw laying down with
[68:04]her eyes closed.
