[15:30]gifts the Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has given every single one of

[15:36]us is the gift of time the time that Allah has given

[15:42]you is the life that God has given you some people Allah

[15:48]gives them a long life others Allah gives them a short life

[15:54]but at the end of the day it doesn't matter how long

[16:00]the life that God has given you is but what matters is

[16:03]what you do with the time that God has given you some

[16:09]people their life is long yet they're not productive during the time

[16:15]that God has given them their time has no blessing their time

[16:22]has no value and you find others that live a short life

[16:25]the time on Earth is not that long yet every single moment

[16:33]and second is a blessed moment for them so the shorter time

[16:37]could be more blessed it all depends on what you do with

[16:44]the time that God has given you and how we spend our

[16:46]moments how we spend our days and nights defines who we are

[16:54]as a person and defines our life the story of our life

[17:00]and in a he says if someone wants to summarize a person's

[17:07]life your life could be summarized into days every day that passes

[17:15]a chapter in your life has come to an end a moment

[17:20]in your life has come to an end just as a book

[17:26]every page that you flip that book will come to an end

[17:29]and the moments of a person's life eventually come to an end

[17:36]when is that end the end is a journey that we will

[17:43]all meet at the same place and that is when we meet

[17:50]Allah subhanahu wa taala oh insan you are struggling you are striving

[18:03]towards your lord until eventually you will meet your lord yes different

[18:11]people meet their lord in different ways there's two possible outcomes either

[18:19]Eternal Victory or Eternal damnation the one whose book is given to

[18:34]them in their right hand then the of this person will be

[18:37]easy and this person will be happy however a group they will

[18:53]fail the test after living a long life after living for 70

[18:57]80 however long years at the end they come and they tell

[19:03]them we are sorry but you failed the test in life because

[19:05]you did not use your time wisely you did not take advantage

[19:11]of the moment that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala had given you in

[19:15]this life so my dear brothers and sisters time is very precious

[19:18]a lot of us we waste our lives we allow the days

[19:24]and the weeks and the months and the years to pass and

[19:28]we have not accomplished many goals s we have not done anything

[19:32]many of us we are so distracted we waste our time swiping

[19:38]through Tik Tok and Instagram and social media hours and hours are

[19:44]wasted through these distractions but my dear brothers and sisters time is

[19:51]very important time is very essential and God will hold us accountable

[19:55]for every single moment and second of our life now when it

[20:03]comes to time we often hear some of the younger people and

[20:08]you've probably heard someone say this before at one point in your

[20:11]life what do we always hear this is so boring I'm so

[20:18]bored why is this so boring this is a statement we always

[20:23]hear this is so boring I'm bored we always hear young children

[20:31]youth even Sometimes some of the adults they say this and this

[20:37]is a statement that you often hear despite all of the entertainment

[20:41]despite the many many things that we can do we always hear

[20:48]people saying I'm bored this is so boring now there are some

[20:51]things in life that are truly boring like for example watching a

[20:55]baseball game that's just something that is really boring and there are

[21:02]other things that you could watch for hours upon hours and you

[21:04]would never get bored like my lecture for example I'm just kidding

[21:08]maybe it's the other way around but when we talk about boredom

[21:15]when we study boredom psychologists they have studied boredom why do people

[21:24]get bored and in fact boredom is something very unique to humans

[21:29]animals don't get bored you see a cow eating the grass for

[21:34]hours upon hours and they continue doing that and they've contined to

[21:37]do that ever since they've existed that's the way they live their

[21:41]life but humans we get bored really quick we're doing something then

[21:48]a short while later nope we want to go and do something

[21:50]else we keep wanting to do something else and this my dear

[21:56]brothers and sisters is a gift from God to you because God

[21:58]does not want you to remain stagnant God does not want you

[22:03]to stay doing the same exact thing every day in your life

[22:05]Allah subhah wa taal wants you to improve Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[22:09]wants you to advance your life become a better person do something

[22:16]new something exciting every day in your life and in fact if

[22:20]your days are all equal then you're losing why because we don't

[22:27]have infinite number of days there's going to be a time where

[22:31]they'll tell you this is time for you to check out of

[22:35]this d whether you like it or not it's time to leave

[22:37]and my days are all the same every day I'm sitting I

[22:41]go to work I come home I check my phone I do

[22:45]this we all do the same thing Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala wants

[22:48]you to advance Allah subhanahu wa taala wants you to not become

[22:55]stagnant theith of says the one whose days are equal to one

[23:04]another then this person's being cheated you're cheating yourself because we don't

[23:09]have an infinite number of days our days are going to come

[23:14]to an end and yet we're living exactly the same we're not

[23:16]improving Our Lives we're not becoming better if our ancestors they decided

[23:24]to not Advance if they didn't get bored of the lifestyle that

[23:28]they were living we would still be living in caves it was

[23:34]because our ancestors and groups of people Society they got bored they

[23:38]kept wanting to advance and advance and Advance today we see the

[23:44]high advancement and technology that we have otherwise we would still be

[23:48]riding horses and living in a cave and living that lifestyle that

[23:52]caveman lifestyle it's because the human being God gifted you with the

[23:56]ability to be bored and that gift gift makes you advance that

[24:00]gift makes you become a greater person and do things different in

[24:06]life because you always want to be challenged the brain wants to

[24:09]be challenged the brain gets tired of the same thing you want

[24:15]to do something different so this is why being bored is not

[24:18]always a bad thing sometimes it could be a mercy to you

[24:22]it could be something that gets you out of the hole that

[24:24]you're in you have to get bored so that you advance so

[24:28]that you do something different so that you become creative so that

[24:32]you have that Ingenuity Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala wants us to be

[24:39]Innovative Allah wants you to use that full potential that he gave

[24:42]you you have been created with potential you have been created with

[24:46]gifts don't let that be wasted and this is why we get

[24:50]bored and in fact it's the nature of human beings to get

[24:56]bored right now what is the most EX exotic place that you

[24:59]could think of imagine that in your head and imagine you're stuck

[25:05]there for 1 year 2 years 3 years four years sitting on

[25:09]the beach and Drinking Your Juice and enjoying it at the end

[25:15]eventually there's going to come a time where you're going to get

[25:20]bored right you're going to get bored because you have not been

[25:23]created for this Dy you have been created to achieve things in

[25:26]life and Allah subh wants you to advance to excel to progress

[25:34]in life there's only one place that no one will get bored

[25:39]of other than my lecture of course and that is jna jna

[25:44]the only place that no one gets bored Allah subhah wa ta'ala

[25:52]has created it in a way that you would not get bored

[25:54]otherwise anywhere think of the most tropical the most beautiful island or

[26:00]wherever it is you're going to go there for a couple days

[26:04]years weeks whatever it is and then you're going to get bored

[26:06]J Heaven is made in a way that you don't get bored

[26:10]Allah says in the Quran Allah says in the jna is eternal

[26:31]and it's made in a way where you're not going to want

[26:35]to go out and go somewhere else Allah subhah wa ta'ala will

[26:38]constantly make it a place that fits your needs and my dear

[26:45]brothers and sisters psychologists when they study boredom they say it's actually

[26:50]healthy for a person's brain to have a pause sometimes we're always

[26:54]the brain the mind is a machine that is constantly working it's

[26:59]constantly giving orders and processing information giving orders processing information and sometimes

[27:07]it needs a break and experts a neuroscientist says that actually when

[27:13]you put your brain on autopilot mode sometimes when you let it

[27:20]relax when you it let it relax and you put it on

[27:22]autopilot mode that will be good and healthy for your brain and

[27:28]it is is during those moments when your brain is resting when

[27:32]it's on autopilot mode those boring moments that is when you will

[27:37]become the most creative that is when your brain is able to

[27:41]go into the creativity that is when the brain is able to

[27:49]become Innovative when you allow your brain to rest a little this

[27:52]is why some of the most important ideas that we have in

[27:55]life are probably an idea that we thought in the shower or

[27:59]something that you think of when you're driving something that is very

[28:03]not not something so exciting but that's the time that your brain

[28:08]is actually working that's the time that your brain is going to

[28:13]go towards the Ingenuity and being Innovative and being creative so sometimes

[28:18]it's not always a bad thing that you're bored and you're not

[28:22]doing something exciting with your life however we live in a Time

[28:31]time of constant bombardment of information and that takes away our creativity

[28:37]that takes away our Innovative skills and Innovative gifts that Allah subhana

[28:41]wa ta'ala has given us you have these phones and the phones

[28:45]are constantly sending you notifications WhatsApp you wake up to 50 messages

[28:50]Facebook you wake up and you see all of these notifications Tik

[28:55]Tok all of these notifications there's constant information where being bombarded with

[29:00]information that's not giving our brain and intellect the ability to be

[29:06]creative because you're constantly bombarding yourself with all of this information and

[29:11]in fact studies show that the more a person spends on social

[29:15]media the less productive they will be the more you spend on

[29:22]Facebook and WhatsApp and all these social media tools the less creative

[29:26]you'll be the less Innovative you you'll be because you're distracting yourself

[29:31]you're distracting your brain and you're not giving it the time to

[29:37]be Innovative and research shows that a a on average a person

[29:43]checks their phone at least or on average 84 times a day

[29:47]84 times a day we just take the phone sometimes we didn't

[29:49]get a message but I just want to see did anyone message

[29:53]me Did anyone say anything to me we just look at it

[29:55]just because we're afraid that we're going to miss one of of

[30:00]these notifications as if it's going to be the end of the

[30:02]world if we miss that notification right and on average people spend

[30:12]about 5 hours on social media every day and my dear brothers

[30:15]and sisters other than the time that is being wasted we have

[30:20]to be very careful of what we expose ourself to should I

[30:24]expose myself to everything that's out there every every Tik Tok video

[30:31]that comes out every real on Instagram every Netflix video every episode

[30:35]that comes out some people they have to watch it oh a

[30:37]movie on Marvel came out I have to watch it if I

[30:41]don't watch it what's going to happen you have to watch it

[30:45]and these things they're the distraction that keeps us away from being

[30:50]creative that keeps us away from being productive you have to be

[30:57]very careful how you spend your time how you spend your Moments

[31:00]by the way a lot of what's out there in social media

[31:05]a lot of these WhatsApp groups do you have to be in

[31:08]every single group is there a verse in the Quran that says

[31:13]you have to be in every single group out there no do

[31:17]you have to watch every single Netflix episode that comes out no

[31:20]but some of us we live by it as if it's something

[31:24]no this episode came out I have to watch it this movie

[31:26]came out I watched the first and the second now I have

[31:31]to watch the third we live our lives as if we are

[31:33]burdened and we have to watch this and this is something that

[31:40]takes away and wastes our time my dear brothers and sisters a

[31:43]lot of what's out there in social media and these gadgets is

[31:51]a distraction a lot of it is toxic a lot of it

[31:53]will destroy you if you have all types of food if you

[31:58]have many different typ of food does it mean that I have

[32:01]to come and taste everything out there no because some of the

[32:05]food is not healthy for me some of the food is not

[32:06]good for me some of the food could be poisonous some of

[32:10]the food could destroy me or sometimes I'm not hungry do I

[32:16]have to eat everything out there no why is it that I

[32:18]have to consume all of this information that's out there why is

[32:23]it that I put myself in front of all of these videos

[32:26]and clips and reals and these d on Tik Tok and all

[32:30]of these things that are destructive to a person's morality to a

[32:34]person's ethics to a person's faith and religion we spend hours just

[32:40]scrolling up up up up and you're just watching these clips that

[32:43]are made these 3 minute 2minute Clips 30 second Clips they're they're

[32:46]only 30 seconds but if you calculate the time that you've wasted

[32:50]and spent it goes into the hours and then we miss why

[32:57]because I stayed up at night going through these clips it takes

[33:03]away the Baraka from your life it takes away the bar the

[33:09]blessing from the time that God has given you a lot of

[33:12]the Haram that we look at a lot of the Haram that

[33:16]we expose our eyes to and our ears to just because something's

[33:19]out there doesn't mean I have to look at it just because

[33:22]a new song came out doesn't mean I have to listen to

[33:25]it all that Haram has an impact on us some of us

[33:29]we think that yeah it's okay nothing happened I just looked at

[33:32]something I just heard something it's not a big deal no it

[33:36]is a big deal because that thing that you looked at during

[33:38]the day will have an impact on you at night or that

[33:41]thing that you looked at and you're listening to at night it's

[33:44]going to have an impact on you the next day one day

[33:49]a man comes to and he tells him I missed I didn't

[33:52]pray the midnight prayers tells him it's because of your sins it

[34:02]must have been something that you did during the day that took

[34:06]away that opportunity to speak to God in the middle of the

[34:10]night something that you did during the day something that you must

[34:14]have said looked at a glance at something and that took away

[34:17]the Baraka that took away the privilege and some of us we

[34:23]spend hours upon hours and we miss the F prayer the prayer

[34:25]the prayer M days and we're so busy as if it's been

[34:31]written down in the Quran that we have to look at all

[34:36]the information that's out there my dear brothers and sisters being bored

[34:40]sometimes is a good thing it Sparks creativity but sometimes it could

[34:46]become dangerous when we are afraid of being bored and what do

[34:50]we do we go and we throw ourselves in the Haram we

[34:54]go and we look at the Haram we associate with bad friends

[34:57]we put ourselves in a bad environment because we're afraid that we're

[35:02]going to get bored sometimes you tell someone don't hang out with

[35:07]this friend this friend is bad for you don't spend time with

[35:11]this group of people they're not good for you they're not good

[35:13]for your life they're not good for your afterlife they're not good

[35:15]for your grades they're not good for everything that you do they

[35:19]say but I'm going to get bored if I don't have friends

[35:21]I'm going to get bored you're afraid of getting bored but you're

[35:27]throwing yourself in a bad atmosphere it's better to not have any

[35:32]friends than have bad friends or some people they go and they

[35:36]throw themselves into drugs into intoxicants into things that will destroy their

[35:43]life and flip their life upside down destroy families we've seen this

[35:48]we've seen this because they're afraid they're going to get go get

[35:54]bored they go in order to amuse themselves they go and they

[35:57]fall in the Haram go going to concerts hanging around with bad

[36:02]friends doing things that are destructive to your life and even if

[36:09]it's not something that's Haram this time that God has given you

[36:12]is precious this time is a you're going to be asked about

[36:22]that blessing even if even if you're not looking or doing something

[36:26]Haram you have to think how you're using that time you know

[36:29]I read a post once it says a Netflix subscription doesn't just

[36:37]cost you 1799 it cost you hours upon hours of your life

[36:40]and those hours are precious hours you could have been doing something

[36:44]that is precious you could have been doing something that is very

[36:50]productive my dear brothers and sisters we try to keep ourselves distracted

[36:59]we try to keep our s amused by going after the dya

[37:01]but we will come to a point of realization some people they

[37:06]understand it some people it's too late by the time they understood

[37:10]it that this dun is going to kick you to the curb

[37:16]we run after this dun we compromise our relationship with God for

[37:19]the sake of this dun but this dun does not want you

[37:21]this dun at the end of the day it kicks you to

[37:26]the curb no matter what you had in this dun at the

[37:29]end of the day you're going to lose it all invest in

[37:35]God invest in Allah subhana this D is not worth it some

[37:39]of us for the S because we're afraid of being bored or

[37:43]because we're worried we don't have friends we don't have we're going

[37:46]after the duny and money and all these things we end up

[37:49]compromising and sacrificing our work for the that is what will remain

[37:56]that is the real pleasure pleasure that you will have that's the

[37:59]only real pleasure all other Pleasures come to an end just as

[38:05]we mentioned this gets boring you go and you stay in the

[38:07]most exotic island at the end of the day you're going to

[38:11]get bored you have millions of dollars at the end of the

[38:13]day what are you going to say I want another million I

[38:16]want another million is there going to be a time that we're

[38:18]going to be content no so in the beginning just say let

[38:24]me turn to God because real pleasure rests with God real pleasure

[38:31]real satisfaction is with Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala there's a very beautiful story

[38:41]of prophet isaam Jesus which teaches us how to focus and how

[38:46]to where to shift our attention and focus in this life prophet

[38:51]isaam he was traveling with his companions and they reached a piece

[38:57]of land and in that piece of land the Companions and The

[39:02]Disciples of Jesus they said there's a treasure hidden somewhere here so

[39:07]we're going to stay we're going to dig until we find and

[39:10]discover this treasure that is hidden here Prophet Isa he left his

[39:20]companions to discover the treasure and he tells them I am going

[39:23]to go in the town There's a town nearby he tells them

[39:27]I'm going to go in the town town and in the town

[39:29]There's a treasure that I will discover his disciples they didn't know

[39:33]what he's talking about so there's one there's one treasure that they're

[39:38]looking for they're digging for and there's another treasure that Jesus is

[39:44]looking for and that is within the town so Jesus leaves them

[39:51]and he goes and he stays in this town and he stays

[39:56]in this town he goes and he stays at that time they

[40:01]didn't have hotels they didn't have a Motel 6 they didn't have

[40:04]holiday in all these things so he goes and he stays at

[40:09]a house of a family he stays at a family's house there's

[40:12]an old lady and she has a son he goes and he

[40:17]stays there and the son of this lady he is working a

[40:23]very difficult job every day he goes out he collects pieces of

[40:28]wood and then he comes he goes in the desert he collects

[40:33]these sticks and wood he comes back to town he sells it

[40:37]and he makes a living a very difficult job and he looks

[40:41]very miserable so his mother she comes to him and she tells

[40:44]him you look like you're very miserable we have our guest this

[40:52]man Jesus go and ask him talk to him maybe your life

[40:55]can improve maybe your life can become better so this young man

[41:01]he goes to Jesus and he tells him my life is difficult

[41:06]I'm going through difficulties I'm going through challenges Jesus tells him what's

[41:09]your problem he says my problem is a problem that cannot be

[41:14]fixed I don't have a solution to my problem tells him why

[41:17]what's your problem everything should have some type of solution he tells

[41:22]him I go and I collect these pieces of wood and on

[41:26]my way to town I pass by the the Palace of the

[41:28]king and when I passed by the Palace of the king one

[41:33]day my eyes fell on the princess and I fell in love

[41:37]with her and now I want to marry her and I don't

[41:39]want to marry anyone else Jesus tells him that's your problem he

[41:45]says yes Isa tells him okay then why don't you go and

[41:48]propose why don't you go and ask for her hand in marriage

[41:53]tells him look at me I don't have anything I'm so poor

[41:55]where am I and where is she Jesus tells him it doesn't

[42:00]hurt to go and ask go and ask and see what will

[42:02]happen so the young man he goes and he asks he stands

[42:07]in line he sees the king and the King tells him yes

[42:11]I will give you my daughter but you have to give me

[42:12]two bags of gold and silver so this man came back to

[42:18]Jesus even more depressed even more sad that now he knows what

[42:23]it takes but this is something that is impossible Prophet Isa he

[42:28]sees some stones on the ground rocks on the ground he asks

[42:31]Allah to turn these stones into gold rubies and jewelry Isa he

[42:37]used to raise the dead he used to cure the leper so

[42:44]these rocks they become into gold jewelry rubies the man he takes

[42:48]them in a bag and he goes and he gives them to

[42:52]the king the king says I want another bag so he comes

[42:54]back to Jesus Jesus asks Allah to make another bag of gold

[42:58]gold and silver and then he goes and he gives it to

[42:59]him he tells him I'll give you my daughter this is how

[43:02]of course some fathers are they just want to sell their daughter

[43:05]to the highest bidder as if it's a market thing anyways he

[43:12]tells he tells his he tells the young man I'll give you

[43:17]my daughter and the young man he comes Jesus does the nikah

[43:22]he gets them married he gets married the third day or the

[43:25]second day after the marriage the King dies now this young man

[43:35]yesterday he was empty he was he didn't have anything the next

[43:39]day he marries the princess the third day he becomes the king

[43:45]there's no one else there he becomes the king he's sitting and

[43:47]he puts on the crown of the king and he puts on

[43:52]the cloak of the king and he's sitting on the chair and

[43:54]Jesus comes to him Jesus tells him I'm going to leave he

[43:58]was a visitor Jesus used to travel in these Villages and towns

[44:01]he tells him I'm going to leave the young man who has

[44:07]just become a king now he looks at ISA he tells him
