[0:03][Music] [Music] Abdul from Peace be upon you my master and messenger
[0:37]of Allah Muhammad peace be upon you and for your noble pure
[0:42]and oppressed family peace be upon you oh my master Hussein the
[0:52]ark of salvation and the lamp of guidance master of the martyr
[1:01][Music] The one for whom tears are rushed.
[1:11]The lonely oppressed one of Kerbala.
[1:14][Music] Peace be upon the blood.
[1:25]Peace be upon the dust covered cheek.
[1:31][Music] Peace be upon the blundered lifeless body.
[1:38]Though my body was not present in Kbala to answer your call
[1:44]and cry.
[1:45]Though my tongue could not speak in your defense.
[1:47]Today my heart, my hearing, and my eyes have all responded to
[1:53]your call.
[1:55]Jian all of us Hussein Hussein.
[2:14]This poem is about Abbas.
[2:19]The tragedy of tough weighs heavy on each heart.
[2:21]Its grief shall linger never to depart.
[2:26]The sorrow there its echo spends all time.
[2:30]The pages weep in verse in sacred rhyme.
[2:35]It's right the tears in torrent fall and flow for revelation wept
[2:44]in silent wall.
[2:43]Oh you who mourn Hussein in carbala let tears for his protector
[2:53]let tears for his protector freely fall his protector Abu FBA the
[3:01]shield of Hussein his trusted noble guide the moon of Hashim honor
[3:09]at his side he charged through ranks the stranger's loyal blade and
[3:16]turned where Hussein on path was laid.
[3:21]His soul he offered up without regret to guard the one whose
[3:29]pain all heaven met.
[3:30]But treachery the craft of coward kin divided them.
[3:36]The vile would always sin.
[3:38]So Abul Fu and Imam Hussein Alisam were fighting side to side
[3:44]and then they separated them and that's when when Abul Fu was
[3:47]able to reach the water of the Euphrates water al Farurat surrounding
[3:53]Haidar's son with traps so low they struck his hands no match
[4:03]on earth below with iron road they crushed his sacred bro extinguishing
[4:09]the I that saw death vo his brother came like lion fierce
[4:14]and brave yet knew the end would lead him to the grave.
[4:22]He cried my back is broken.
[4:24]Im Hussein is saying these words.
[4:26]He cried my back is broken.
[4:30]No my light.
[4:31]Your loss has brought me pain no strength can fight.
[4:37]Now I am weak and evil men rejoice.
[4:45]A cursed crowd Gibbrael damns their voice.
[4:46]Oh Abbas, after you no hope remains.
[4:51]Decree has come and none can break its chains.
[4:57]Oh abu father.
[5:01]Oh moon of fashion.
[5:02]Oh of Hussein, the guard of honors flame, son of Har, with
[5:10]your mighty sword you shattered the vile and brought truth named [Music]
[5:32]in the name of Allah the entirely merciful especially merciful the one
[5:36]who has created and designed everything the utmost perfection and the one
[5:41]who guided us to the light of Hussein and the ark of
[5:47]salvation.
[5:45]which is the school of that we inshallah able to extract all
[5:52]values and lessons so we can apply them in our time paving
[5:54]the way for the arrival of our imam of time the imi
[5:58]may Allah hasten his reappearance and make us all among his dedicated
[6:04]and sincere servants youth in Islam are the backbone of the ummah
[6:08]they are the driving force behind it strength fidelity and future They
[6:15]are our foundation upon which the community stand and the bridge between
[6:24]generations.
[6:22]The energy of our youth is a divine gift filled with passion,
[6:28]purity and potential.
[6:30]When guided by faith and values, it become the most powerful tool
[6:37]to change, reform and revive.
[6:41]And that's what the community is trying to do together when we
[6:46]are trying to come to this males is to pass down the
[6:51]values of Hussein because one day we will age and another generation
[6:54]will come and they have to in a way repeat the same
[7:01]cycle to keep this religion inshallah glowing until judgment day.
[7:06]Imam Alisam said the heart of a youth is like an empty
[7:13]land.
[7:12]Whatever is planted in it will be accepted.
[7:16]The more we start with them at a younger age, the more
[7:23]there's a higher percentage that they will give fruits, the fruits of
[7:29]light and guidance and purity and values and tenets especially of the
[7:35]so we have to plant faith, purpose and courage in these in
[7:40]the hearts and the minds of our youth.
[7:43]Inshallah tala im Ali Alisam if you're now let me say under
[7:49]the age of 40 IM is telling you two things are not
[7:54]appreciated until they are lost.
[7:59]What are the two nas the two blessings that we will never
[8:02]appreciate until we lose?
[8:05]Youth and health.
[8:07]Youth and health.
[8:10]So in many societies today there is a dangerous misconcept misconception by
[8:18]that in a phase where young people are free from responsibilities.
[8:22]They think when you're a teenager or young you have to be
[8:26]free from responsibilities allowed to follow their desires without restrictions.
[8:31]So they always motivate unfortunately the young ones to do whatever they
[8:38]want.
[8:38]Some believe they lack mental full mental awareness and should be left
[8:42]without guidance.
[8:44]That's why for example we have in our society something plus 17
[8:50]plus 18 plus 21.
[8:51]Even though in Islam we believe that when you hit the Islamic
[8:57]maturity or Islamic puberty then you're responsible in the eye of Allahh.
[9:03]True.
[9:04]Islam want the female to feel that she's responsible from the age
[9:08]of nine and the male to feel that he's responsible from the
[9:12]age of 13.
[9:13]Societies are making us unfortunately um in a way less mature.
[9:20]There is a study that was made that the full maturity age
[9:23]in the west or in the United States now it's 25 years
[9:29]of age which is very unfortunate unfortunately.
[9:30]Now seizing the opportunity of youth.
[9:33]Why is youth so important?
[9:38]All intellectual, political and social movement seek to attract and influence young
[9:44]people because they recognize their power and potential.
[9:48]Islam teaches that our responsibility toward our youth is a divine obligation
[9:53]and we will be held accountable if we neglect them.
[9:56]So we see for example imam he taught us engage your youth
[10:05]with the teachings of theam before others reach them first.
[10:09]So if you don't plant the seeds of the the school of
[10:15]thought the beliefs the foundation the ideology the values someone else will
[10:19]come and attract them to the other school of thoughts.
[10:25]Prophet Muhammad when he advised Abadar he told him take advantage of
[10:29]five before five.
[10:29]The first one is your life before your death.
[10:32]Makes sense.
[10:34]Second your health before your sickness.
[10:37]Third your free time before your work.
[10:42]Four your youth before your old age.
[10:48]And five your wealth before your poverty.
[10:49]You have to take advantage of these five before you lose them.
[10:52]This life is all about gaining and losing.
[10:55]You can't guarantee having these things all the time.
[11:01]Imam Alisam said, "Value your youth before your old age and your
[11:04]health before your sickness." The same thing.
[11:07]So, Alibab is trying to tell me and you that youth is
[11:11]a golden opportunity for self-improvement, knowledge, and service to Allahhana.
[11:15]If it's wasted, it may lead to lifelong regret.
[11:19]Now any place any religious place we feel that youth when they
[11:27]volunteer they actually moving move that place forward.
[11:29]Now why Islam focuses on youth?
[11:34]Imm Ali told us that the heart of the young person is
[11:38]like an empty land.
[11:40]I believe that the best age and the golden age to teach
[11:49]the full Islamic beliefs or Islamic law is between the ages of
[11:54]7 to 14 years of age.
[11:54]And I learned that from prophet Muhammad peace be upon him when
[12:00]he took Ali when Ali was just five years of age.
[12:01]He took him to the cave of and they started one-on-one lessons.
[12:07]And when the prophet started his public invitation of Islam and when
[12:12]he asked who want to be like support me, support Islam to
[12:19]be my successor and representative after me, we found that Ali Alisam
[12:23]he is the one who raised his hand.
[12:24]And the question is Ali accept prophet Muhammad peace be upon him
[12:28]accepted Islam from Ali in that age and he gave him that
[12:33]responsibility.
[12:32]Ali was able he understood the full message of Islam from the
[12:38]age of 13 years.
[12:45]Youth are the fastest to accept goodness.
[12:48]Immad Alisam asked one of his students Abu Jaffer, "How do you
[12:55]find people responding to the call of you know imr had the
[13:01]university of Islam the first Islamic seminary in his time and he
[13:06]taught students and after they finished uh learning he used to send
[13:10]them to other places to spread the message of the soak he
[13:16]asked him how do you find people responding to The call of
[13:20]B.
[13:21]Abu Jafar replied, the few are responding.
[13:24]Look what the imam told him.
[13:25]Focus on the youth for they are quicker to accept goodness.
[13:29]Meaning when we start educating the generation from a very young age,
[13:37]we will find more people accepting the message of the youth and
[13:43]political change.
[13:45]Im Jaffer Sadik said, "Oh youth, fear Allah and do not seek
[13:48]the company of corrupt rulers, for they will use you as weapons
[13:54]against the righteous." And Prophet Muhammad himself, he said, "When I started
[13:59]the message of Islam, the elderly left me and the youth supported
[14:04]me." Now, Prophet Muhammad also emphasized the importance of youth in building
[14:10]a righteous society.
[14:10]He said, "I advise you to be good to to the youth
[14:14]for they have the softest hearts.
[14:18]When Allah sent me as a prophet, the youth supported me while
[14:22]the elders opposed me." And then he recited this verse.
[14:24]Then the time became long for them and their hearts became hardened.
[14:30]Unfortunately, sadly, the more you grow, the more your heart become hardened.
[14:34]That's why it's very hard to change someone's mindset especially after 40
[14:39]years for example the more someone growing grow in age the more
[14:44]it's harder to change their what their mindset they become stubborn or
[14:48]that concept or that thought will become stored in their minds and
[14:52]hearts to an extent it will be very hard to remove bad
[14:57]habits and at an old age or a wrong misconception and develop
[15:02]the right one.
[15:05]Now when it comes to our scholars, some of our Maraj scholars
[15:10]said, "If you want to stand against falsehood without fear, if you
[15:14]want to defend the truth, and if you do not want the
[15:19]powerful elites and their conspiracies to control you, train yourselves in simplicity
[15:24]and free your hearts from attachment to wealth and status, and focus
[15:28]on the newer generations." Now on judgment day before I speak about
[15:32]Imam Mi and youth since yesterday we mentioned that the majority of
[15:38]the companions and the supporters of Imam Medi will be the youth
[15:42]the young ones.
[15:42]Look how Allah subhana tala will treat those who benefited from their
[15:49]youth age and they subhan Allah they used that energy at a
[15:52]young age and they concentrated that energy toward Islam and serving Allahhana
[15:58]tala.
[15:59]Prophet Muhammad said the feet of a servant will not move on
[16:02]the day of a judgment until they will be asked about four
[16:09]things.
[16:06]Their life, how they spend it, their youth and how they utilize
[16:15]it.
[16:14]Subhan Allah.
[16:16]Please sometimes when you visit your par your grandparents always ask them
[16:21]because they value youth age more than you because they missed that
[16:28]age and they wish that they used their youth age definitely in
[16:32]a more productive way.
[16:32]Imam Jaffer Saddak Alisam said among the pieces of advice that Lman
[16:38]gave to his son.
[16:38]He told him oh my son know that tomorrow when you stand
[16:43]before Allah you will be asked about four things.
[16:47]The first thing your youth and how you used it.
[16:48]Your life and how you spend it.
[16:53]Your wealth and how you earned it and how you spend it.
[16:55]And the fourth one is the love for the now wisdom is
[17:04]the secret treasure that majority of believers unfortunately they miss it.
[17:14]Knowledge is available but wisdom it's something it's a self you gain
[17:22]it at the self level through experience and through insight and through
[17:26]pondering and reflecting.
[17:28]Knowledge will never give you experience.
[17:30]Sorry, knowledge will never give you wisdom.
[17:34]It's the way you apply that knowledge and you gain experience then
[17:39]you will earn that wisdom.
[17:40]And the difference between a prophet and normal scholars is wisdom.
[17:49]Wisdom is what to say and how to say it in the
[17:53]right time and place and choose the best action and put it
[17:58]in the right time and place.
[17:58]It's not easy to be a wise person.
[18:02]Um if we if we're missing something in the Muslim nation is
[18:09]wise scholars.
[18:08]That's why leadership require wisdom.
[18:12]Nurturing and raising generation require what?
[18:18]Wisdom.
[18:18]Now pro prophet Aub said Allah places wisdom in the hearts of
[18:24]both the young and the old.
[18:26]If he grants wisdom to a young person, their age would will
[18:31]not lower their status among the wise.
[18:34]For they will shine with the light of Allah.
[18:36]The more you keep this heart pure and this mind free from
[18:43]distractions and corruption and doubts, the more you can gain that wisdom
[18:47]from a young age.
[18:50]Subhan Allah.
[18:51]There is a lot of virtue when it comes to a young
[18:56]worshipper in Islam.
[18:55]Really, I am pleased and satisfied and happy when I hear in
[19:01]this community that we have from our young that they pray.
[19:04]It's interesting to find that this this generation is actually seeking spirituality
[19:10]and building a stronger connection and relationship with Allahh.
[19:15]What made say the Zabisam in the night of the 11th of
[19:21]Muaram still pray after all the massacre and the tragedy and the
[19:25]trials and tribulations she faced other than her knowledge with Allahh.
[19:30]said that pray while sitting after the 10th of Mahar.
[19:36]Prophet Muhammad said the excellence of a young person who worships Allah
[19:43]in their youth over an elderly person who worships after an old
[19:46]age is like the excellence of the prophets over the rest of
[19:52]a humanity.
[19:52]So this is a motivation from the prophet to start building spiritual
[19:57]habits from a young age.
[19:59]You know, we all know that is 11 units, right?
[20:03]It's after salat 11 units.
[20:08]Scholars said if you're unable to pray all the 11, it's like
[20:11]five like fure and you pray one uh water at the end.
[20:16]So we have let me say it eight introduction.
[20:19]So you divide them four like then you pray two water then
[20:24]one shaf or two shaf one water.
[20:27]Now this prayer they said that the essence of salat is the
[20:34]last three.
[20:35]So you don't have to pray all 11.
[20:38]You can just pray the final three and Allah will accept inshallah
[20:40]that prayer as a fullat.
[20:42]If you're unable to pray the three, play just the last one
[20:48]which is one unit and say sistani allowed you to pray after
[20:55]aa prayer.
[20:55]But you tell me what is the key for me to permanently
[21:00]praise every night like the Zab is building the habit.
[21:05]Prophet Muhammad taught us that uh offering something small to Allah but
[21:12]with consistency is better than offering Allah with no consistency.
[21:18]That's in spirituality.
[21:21]Every single one of us has to have a spiritual program.
[21:23]like you have nutrition program, physical program, educational program, you must have
[21:32]spiritual program from a very young age.
[21:36]So teach our children for example after daily prayers to do at
[21:44]the endse has to be built.
[21:47]It's habits.
[21:49]Later on in life, they can start understanding them more in depth
[21:53]and connecting spiritually more.
[21:56]But we have to teach them from that young age as Imm
[21:59]Ali told us that your hearts are like empty lands and we're
[22:06]planting seeds in it.
[22:06]Whether it will be seeds of the B or seeds and I
[22:11]don't want to go into examples now what singers and and actors
[22:15]are teaching us out there.
[22:18]Now youth are the age that is concentrated by Allah himself.
[22:26]Prophet Muhammad said Allah loves the young person who dedicate their youth
[22:32]to obedience.
[22:32]Well, Prophet Muhammad said there is nothing more beloved to Allah than
[22:37]a young person who repents and there is nothing more disliked by
[22:40]Allah than an old man who persists persists into sin.
[22:47]Now also Allah boasts about the righteous youth to the angels.
[22:52]So now when he see the young praying on time or praying
[22:56]look what Allah will tell the angels about you guys.
[22:59]He said the most beloved Allah will say to the angels the
[23:03]most beloved creation to Allah is a young person in the prime
[23:07]of their youth who dedicates their lives to him.
[23:11]Allah boasts about such a youth to the angels saying this is
[23:14]truly my servant.
[23:16]You know how angels complained about the creation of Adam.
[23:18]Do you want to put on earth or cause corruption and shed
[23:20]blood?
[23:21]So Allah will boast to the angels about when he sees someone
[23:28]young still full energy full desires you know and still he's in
[23:32]a way um having that self-control and dedicating his energy toward Allahh
[23:38]and spirituality.
[23:39]Now the reward of the righteous youth on the day of judgment.
[23:44]Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said seven types of people will
[23:50]be under Allah's shade on that day when there is no other
[23:54]shade except his shade.
[23:57]One of them is a just ruler and the second a youth
[24:00]person who grew up in the worship of Allah.
[24:04]Grew up in the worship of Allah.
[24:06]So he need an environment to feel connected spiritually toward Allah subhana
[24:11]wa ta'ala.
[24:12]Now and their rewards will be multiplied.
[24:14]Prophet Muhammad said any young person who turns away from the distractions
[24:19]of this world and dedicates their youth to Allah will receive a
[24:23]reward of 72 truthful servants of Allah.
[24:29]Number 72 isn't familiar with you guys.
[24:32]the 72 companions with Immassam in Kbella.
[24:36]Now the quality of Islam of Islamic youth.
[24:40]What is the quality and the characteristics that the Muslim youth must
[24:44]have and his image at the social level?
[24:48]First worship and obedience to Allah.
[24:51]They must feel that they have social responsibilities.
[24:54]volunteering and helping others, political awareness and activism, seeking knowledge, striving in
[25:04]the way of Allah.
[25:05]Allahh said in the Quran, indeed speaking about the youth in the
[25:11]cave, the people of the cave, he called them youth.
[25:16]Abu Abbas was called fat youth.
[25:21]You know Abu Fu was 36 years old in Kbalah.
[25:25]Imm Hassan were around 56.
[25:26]Allah said about the people of the cave indeed they were young
[25:30]men who believed in their lord and we increased them in guidance.
[25:32]So when you believe when you're young Allah will increase you in
[25:35]your by the way we believe that our children must be better
[25:42]than us at all levels.
[25:44]At the Islamic level, intellectual level, spiritual level, social level, educational level.
[25:51]Your parents want you to be better than them.
[25:56]Always remember that.
[25:55]Prophet Muhammad said, "The best among you youth who are those who
[26:00]resemble your elders in wisdom.
[26:04]They don't inherit the wrong values or the wrong ways or the
[26:10]negative culture practices.
[26:11]They take the wisdom from the elderly." Now, I imam described a
[26:19]corrupt society as a society where those who speak the truth are
[26:25]few, honesty is rare and the youth are reckless and immoral.
[26:28]So, if you want to consider this society is pure, the youth
[26:34]must not be immoral.
[26:36]Now, if you apply unfortunately this on what's going on public schools,
[26:41]this society is corrupt.
[26:44]The immortal theor immorality and the unfortunately lack of ethics and respect
[26:52]and selfhonor unfortunately is rare in public schools.
[27:03]So the youth must one be balanced, wise and disciplined, two devoted
[27:11]to worship.
[27:12]They pray on time.
[27:13]Even if you don't feel connected spiritually in prayer, our scholars said
[27:18]if you want to reach Allah when you're young, the first scholars
[27:23]said three things.
[27:24]Do the waj don't do haram and pray on time with your
[27:33]heart connected to Allahhana tala.
[27:34]I think that was said who said that and he said if
[27:40]you don't reach Allah spiritually after years from doing that just do
[27:43]the waj don't do haram and pray on time with your heart
[27:51]connected he said come to my grave and curse me then his
[27:54]student one of his students I think she he added this he
[28:00]said I'm editing the statement of he said when you're young do
[28:05]the waj don't do haram and just pray on time even if
[28:08]your heart is not connected but maintain prayer on time just do
[28:15]waj don't do haram and pray on time even if your heart
[28:18]is not connected spiritually to Allah and he said if you did
[28:22]not feel after years that you reached that lofty station between you
[28:28]and Allahhana tala then go to his grave and curse at him
[28:32]it's very simple Simple.
[28:36]Islam is the simplest and the easiest religion to be religious in
[28:40]and I'm responsible on my word.
[28:42]Sometimes we think, "Oh, Christianity is easier or other religions easier." No,
[28:48]trust me.
[28:47]Unfortunately, the people that they follow different religions are not religious.
[28:52]They are not practicing fully their faith.
[28:55]They're not applying their teachings fully.
[28:58]The easiest religion to be religious in is Islam.
[29:04]Three, if you're young, you must be considered a seeker of knowledge.
[29:09]Imam Ali said, "Knowledge in youth is like engraving in stone and
[29:16]it will never it will last forever.
[29:18]It will never disappear.
[29:21]Four uses their strength for the sake of Allah subhana wa ta'ala.
[29:28]Five, protective and courageous.
[29:30]They have self honor.
[29:32]He prophet Muhammad said my father Ibraim was protected to his faith
[29:38]and I am even more protective than him.
[29:40]May Allah humiliate those who have no protective honor in their hearts.
[29:45]F six modest and well-mannered.
[29:48]Prophet Muhammad said faith and modesty are inseparable.
[29:53]Whoever lacks modesty lacks faith.
[29:56]Seven defenders of Islam.
[29:59]Imam Ali said, "Arm yourselves even with a small pierce of knowledge
[30:07]to be able to defend your ideology and your beliefs.
[30:13]Eight, follow the sunnah of the prophet." Prophet Muhammad be upon him
[30:17]said, "Whoever revives my sunnah has revived me and whoever revives me
[30:21]will be with me in paradise." Finally, there is narrations about youth
[30:32]from the Imam Bakr said if I see a young Shia who
[30:34]does not seek religious knowledge, I will discipline him.
[30:39]Prophet Muhammad said, Imam Ali said knowledge in in youth as we
[30:46]said is like engraving in stones.
[30:46]Now to finalize youth, you have the capacity for pure belief and
[30:54]total commitment.
[30:55]You have the passion.
[30:56]You have the energy.
[30:59]You have loyalty to truth.
[31:00]It's very simple to detach from worldly powers and corruption.
[31:03]Ali Akbar was young in Kbalah.
[31:07]Kasim was young in Kbala.
[31:08]There's a lot of companions for Im Hussein Alam that they were
[31:11]young in Kbala.
[31:14]The majority of the 72 were young.
[31:16]are not old and we found that for example Al Kasim 13
[31:20]years old will understand the concept of death better than any of
[31:25]us saying that death with my uncle Hussein is sweeter than honey
[31:29]Akbar the youth 27 years old some narrations some say that he
[31:33]was 18 19 years of age he heard his father Husseinam saying
[31:40]that saying a statement showing that he's close to death he said
[31:45]my Father, aren't we on the straight path?
[31:47]He said, yes.
[31:47]Then he replied, then we don't care if we went to death
[31:51]or death came to us.
[31:52]When you're younger, it's easier to detach.
[31:55]When you're older, sometimes it's harder to detach from this duny.
[32:01]And that's why Mi will rely on the youth because they are
[32:05]the generation who will hold the banner of Islam and will able
[32:08]to give the victory because they are filled with passion, love.
[32:12]final statement that we must instill the love for Islam and the
[32:17]love for and the love for Allah in the hearts of our
[32:19]youth.
[32:20]Imam he always said the religion is nothing but love.
[32:25]If we focused on fear they will run away.
[32:29]If we focus that we want our children to become like sheh
[32:33]Mhammed when they are 16 years of age then we are pressuring
[32:36]them and putting burden on them and unfortunately sometimes we are making
[32:41]them hate this paths religion is something heavy prophet Muhammad said grow
[32:52]in baby steps and that's how you have to attract your children
[32:58]step after step wisdom is to understand what is the first step
[33:01]then the second step then the third step and build them in
[33:07]that order Abbas Alisam he was the son of Im Ali Alisam
[33:10]but he was special because his mother also is banin IM Hassan
[33:16]had different siblings from different mothers other than Banini but they didn't
[33:20]give him victory like Abu Fu and his brothers Abu F Abbas
[33:25]was the main companion in Kbalah the main warrior Imam Hussein left
[33:34]him until the end as if Im Hussein he's having that internal
[33:39]tranquility when he's looking at his brother Abbass al Abbas was with
[33:44]Hussein when Al Akbar martyed Al Abbas was with Hussein when Al
[33:50]Kasim martyred Al Abbas gave aid for Im Hussein Alisam in every
[33:54]incident in Kabella some narration states that Abu Fu and Im Hussein
[33:59]were the last two warriors in Kabella.
[34:01]So it was hard on the heart of Im Hussein to hear
[34:08]that Abbas is telling him that he want permission to go to
[34:14]the battlefield.
[34:13]He told him, "My chest is tight and I'm tired of life."
[34:19]Not tired in a negative way, but these figures in Kabala, they
[34:23]knew that paradise is waiting for them.
[34:26]So waiting is hard is hard.
[34:29]He said, "I wish to take revenge of these hypocrites." So the
[34:32]imam said, "Then go and try to bring some water for these
[34:38]children." Al Abbas went to the enemy lines and advised them.
[34:41]Warned them, but it was of no use.
[34:45]Shimmer then said to him, "Oh son of Abu Talib, even if
[34:49]the face of the earth were filled with water under our control,
[34:53]we would never give you a single drop until you submit to
[35:00]the allegiance of Yazid." Al Abbas returned to his brother and informed
[35:04]him with the refusal while the children voices cried out, "Thirst, thirst."
[35:09]Abu F Abbas took his spear in the water kinba and set
[35:15]out toward the Euphrates River ahead of his brother Im Hussein Ali.
[35:20]They went together fighting side to side until unfortunately the enemies separated
[35:25]Albbas from his brother Al Hussein.
[35:31]But the forces of Sad encircled Al Abbas and separated him from
[35:34]his brother.
[35:35]So he fought alone, violently pushing through the rank until he broke
[35:41]through and reached the river bank.
[35:43]When he arrived to the banks of the Euphrates, he dipped his
[35:46]hand into the water and scooped a handful.
[35:49]But then he remembered the thirst of his brother Hussein and the
[35:53]woman and the children.
[35:57]Al Abbas was so thirsty, but he was selfless.
[36:01]He dropped the water from his hand and filled the water cannon
[36:05]instead saying, "Oh soul, after Hussein, you are worth nothing.
[36:15]After him, you should not even exist.
[36:18]Here is Hussein growing near to death and you wish to drink
[36:23]the cold water by Allah.
[36:24]This is not the way of my religion, nor the path of
[36:29]one truly certain in faith.
[36:30]He filled the water, kin, placed it on his shoulder, and left
[36:36]the river.
[36:38]The enemies attacked him immediately.
[36:38]They he drew his sword, fighting them like Ali.
[36:44]Al Abbas fought like a lion among them, chanting, "I do not
[36:50]fear death when it comes.
[36:50]My soul is a ransom for Hussein.
[36:53]I am Al Abbas and I bear the water.
[36:58]I do not fear death nor the sword when it clashes.
[37:01]They couldn't fight him because of his strength.
[37:04]They start hiding behind palm trees.
[37:08]And when the help Z struck Al Abbas on his right arm
[37:17]and severed it Abbas took the sword in his left hand and
[37:21]cried [Music] by Allah if you cut off my right hand I
[37:35]will still defend my religion.
[37:37]and the true Imam with certainty of faith, the grandson of the
[37:45]noble trustworthy prophet.
[37:45]He continued to fight fiercely until he was weakened.
[37:49]Then Ibnat struck his left hand from behind a tree.
[37:58]At that moment, Al Abbas proclaimed [Music] Oh, fear not the disbelievers.
[38:17]Rejoice in the mercy of the Almighty.
[38:20]With the chosen pure prophet you shall be.
[38:23]By their transgression they severed my left arm.
[38:25]So, oh Lord cast them into the fires.
[38:30]He now both arms severed.
[38:33]His only concern became delivering the water kin to the camp safely.
[38:39]Omar seeing how desperately Albbas protected the water.
[38:45]He said, "Woe to you.
[38:50]Target the water king with arrows by Allah.
[38:53]If Hussein drinks from this water, you will all be destroyed to
[38:58]the last man." Arrows started to rain on Albas.
[39:01]Arrows pierced his noble chest.
[39:06]One launched in his eye.
[39:08]He could not longer see.
[39:08]Blood collected in his other eye and he was left completely blind.
[39:17]An arrow struck also the water king.
[39:18]Its contents filled upon the earth.
[39:23]I imagine Alba standing confused.
[39:29]He has no hands left to fight, no sight to guide him,
[39:35]no water to deliver to Al Hussein.
[39:37]Then a cursed enemy struck him with an arrow rod upon his
[39:44]head, splitting his blessed skull.
[39:45]He fell from his horse to the ground and cried.
[39:53][Laughter] Peace be upon you from me.
[40:09]Oh, my brother come to me.
[40:10]A great scholar once said, "I saw Abu F Abbas in my
[40:16]dream.
[40:16]He was saddened reproaching the reciter saying he does not recite my
[40:22]tragedy properly.
[40:23]The scholar replied but I have heard him mention your martyrdom oh
[40:28]my master.
[40:30]Al Abbas replied no tell him to recite this particular tragedy.
[40:33]He said every night on the day of Ashur when they fall
[40:41]from their horses they places their pounds on the ground to catch
[40:45]themselves.
[40:46]But what if the one whose chest is pierced with arrows, one
[40:49]eye struck, the other sealed with blood, no right hand, no left
[40:56]hand, with what does he catch himself as he falls.
[41:00]Al Hussein rushed to his brother and before reaching him, the narrator
[41:07]says, "Im Hussein descended from his horse, picked something from the ground
[41:13]and kissed it.
[41:12]It was the right hand of Al Abbas.
[41:16]He walked further, picked up another piece of earth and kissed it.
[41:22]And we looked and it was the left hand of Al Abbas.
[41:27]He cried, "Oh Abbas, I feel you near.
[41:34]My brother, your blood stains, my tears.
[41:37]By Allah, I am lost.
[41:37]Oh Abu Fel, broken in pieces.
[41:41]your limbs scattered on the hot sands.
[41:45]When he reached him, he saw his brother, both arms severed, his
[41:53]forehead split, his eyes darkened and dimmed.
[41:57]He threw himself on him, sat beside his radiant head, lifted into
[42:03]lifted it into his lap, wiped away the blood and sand.
[42:13]Then he whispered, "Now my back is broken.
[42:20]My strength is gone.
[42:24]And my enemy rejoices in my pain.
[42:42]My brother, I cannot rise anymore.
[42:45]You've became the center of all my grief.
[42:48]After you, the enemies have left me alone.
[42:52]There is no one left to feel that.
[42:57]Imm Hussein gently placed the head of his brother Al Abbas in
[43:03]his lap.
[43:04]But Al Abbas moved his head back to the ground.
[43:05]Hussein lifted again and placed it in in his lap.
[43:09]But once more, Al Abbaz returned it to the dust.
[43:14]In the third time, Al Hussein asked him weeping, "My brother, why
[43:17]do you not let me hold your head in my lap?" Al
[43:23]Abbas replied, "My brother, you hold my head now, but in a
[43:25]short while, who will hold your head, oh stranger of Kbala?" And
[43:33]in that moment, the soul of Abu Fabbas departed while resting between
[43:41]the hands of his grieving brother Hussein.
[43:43]Imam Hussein rose from the body of his brother.
[43:47]His back bent, his heart broken, his tears falling as he wiped
[43:52]them with his sleeve.
[43:56]The enemies rushed upon his camp and he cried out, [Music] Is
[44:04]there anyone to help us?
[44:09]Is there anyone to respond to our call?
[44:13]Is there anyone who to seek justice and support us?
[44:17]Is there anyone who fears the fire and will defend the sanctity
[44:24]of the prophet's family?
[44:25]When Al Hussein returned to the camp, the first one who saw
[44:31]him was little Suka, she came running and asked with hope in
[44:34]her eyes.
[44:36]She told him, "Father, has my uncle Abbas returned with water?
[44:39]She was thirsty." Hussein lowered his head and said, "May Allah reward
[44:47]you.
[44:46]Your uncle Al Abbas has been martyed." She cried, "Oh, my uncle."
[45:00]Who heard there was Lady Zab.
[45:04]She heard her clar cry.
[45:08]She rushed forward, dragging her cloak, looked at her sane face and
[45:16]screamed, "Oh my brother, oh Abas," she cried in agony, "Brother, why
[45:27]did you leave me at this hour?
[45:30]Why did you go and abandon me after you will take us?
[45:36]How can I greet?
[45:38]Hussein responded to her with shaking voice.
[45:42]Hos Abbas is gone.
[45:59]The lion who raised our honor has fallen.
[46:09]Our brother is gone.
[46:17]The one who carries the sins of our father is no more.
[46:23]as if Zab looking to the area of Abu Fbas.
[46:28]She's saying when you fell we lost all secure who will take
[46:42]us back to Medina.
[46:48]I complain to Allah the beloved messenger.
[46:52]He told her, "Forgive me.
[46:58]My soul left me." My left and right arm were torn from
[47:10]me.
[47:12]It wasn't my choice.
[47:16]They surrounded me.
[47:22][Music] is a door for Allahhana tala to answer our call and
[47:40]our wishes.
[47:42]So make your prayers tonight inshallah and it will be accepted.
[47:47]for [Music] May Allah in the appearance of our im and make
[48:09]us all among his dedicated and sincere servants.
[48:11]Ya Allah.
[48:13]Oh Allah, shower your infinite mercy, forgiveness and blessings on the souls
[48:18]of our deceased, especially the souls of the scholars and the martyrs
[48:23]and the innocent around the world.
[48:25]We send them the gift of the reward of chapter al fat
[48:27]after [Music]
