[1:03]we were looking at certain proofs that confirm his presence his existence
[1:10]on Earth we said that uh the existence of IM is something
[1:20]that we believe in and we have alhamdulillah multiple types of proofs
[1:26]that confirm his existence by existence we don't simply mean that that
[1:31]Allah T created him rather we mean that Allah tal created him
[1:34]and sent him to Earth so at the moment is with us
[1:43]on Earth we have logical proofs we have quranic proofs and we
[1:48]also have ntional proofs plenty of ntional proofs confirming his presence uh
[1:55]we looked at a bunch of proofs we mentioned the logical proof
[1:59]that I like to call the uh the uh protection proof or
[2:06]the proof of protection which basically pertains to the necessity of uh
[2:15]having an individual who protects the faith protects the religion after rasol
[2:22]Allah's demise or merer them we shed light on and as we
[2:32]were studying we mentioned that in itself indicates that exists how because
[2:48]says that he leaves amongst the nation the two heavy things or
[2:55]the two heavy wees qur him leaving alquran when he says that

[9:31]the same Quran that descended onam one might say wasn't the Quran
[9:40]in danger in some eras which took place after the prophet sallallahu
[9:43]alai wasn't there a possibility wasn't there a chance that someone was
[9:48]about to alter the Quran say yes the danger was there the
[9:52]Quran has enemies Islam has enemies the enemies of Islam obviously might
[9:57]or will try to alter the Quran right but as we said
[10:04]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala took it upon himself to protect the Quran
[10:09]and Allah one of the ways through which he protected and protects
[10:17]the Quran is the presence of the IM the IM is the
[10:21]protector of the religion and part of protecting the religion or say
[10:24]a major part of it is protecting the book of Allah subhanahu
[10:27]waala so again if and please draw you know uh thousand lines
[10:40]under the word if if the Muslims lost a chapter lost two
[10:45]chapters lost a 100 chapters the IM is there to tell them
[10:51]no no you've lost a chapter this chapter of the Quran cannot
[10:54]be lost this is part of the Quran I'm saying if of
[10:58]course to add Clarity to what we're saying take the example of
[11:06]a form of alteration which happen and continues to happen today there's
[11:12]a there's a form of regarding the Quran which happened in the
[11:17]past and continues to happen today this is a form that no
[11:22]one can negate and that is meaning altering the meanings of the
[11:27]Quran who dares to say that this did not happen it happened
[11:32]100% it happened and it continues to happen you have people until
[11:37]today you have people today in this day and age who ascribe
[11:44]the incorrect meanings incorrect meanings to the words of Allah subhanahu wa
[11:53]taala you're talking by St on purpose on purpose yeah yeah on

[12:09]place was when muaah hired someone he paid him a sum a
[12:13]large amount of money so he can tell the Muslim that the

[13:41]labels and whatnot who will also deliberately give incorrect meanings to the
[13:49]words of Allah subhana wa tala that's but not they're not changing
[13:57]the verse they're changing the meaning IM the IM is responsible of
[14:07]protecting the the word and the and the meaning hence when you
[14:14]look at their words regarding you realize how they would they they
[14:21]would present the correct meanings to the words of Allah tal to
[14:28]the verses of God subhah wa taala whilst their enemies or opponents
[14:33]or the people who uh did not follow their path were doing
[14:37]the opposite they were falling into grave mistakes regarding and the IMs
[14:46]were presenting the right meanings to keep Islam the right Islam the
[14:50]true Islam alive so regarding your question in the prophet is telling
[15:26]us that we need to adhere to both to be guided and
[15:30]uh if we adhere to both then we will never be misguided
[15:35]which means that if we leave one of the two we will
[15:41]be misled right you have to take both when he says both
[15:45]it means you have to accept all of both right all of
[15:51]and all of ALR I accept some members of and reject others
[15:55]then I I will be misled if I reject some if I
[16:00]accept some chapters of the Quran and I reject other chapters I'll
[16:03]be misled so I have to accept both but concerning existence do
[16:08]we need all of the members to exist at the same time
[16:10]in all areas to be guided it's known from other proofs especially
[16:19]logical proofs that no one member is needed you have more than
[16:22]the more than maror but one you need at least one but
[16:27]with the Quran you need the whole Quran one one M of
[16:32]is the complete but the Quran is the complete form is the

[18:52]in Allah says we've instilled the knowledge of all matters in an
[19:02]apparent IM the number of that verse is after mentioning you know
[19:09]the apparent IM the number 12 arrives in it's found in verse
[19:22]33 of chapter 33 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 is
[19:25]12 J here inah when Allah mentions you have the numbers five
[19:33]and nine five nine descendants ofin 14 infallibles one might say it's
[19:42]a coincidence I do not believe in that it's not a coincidence
[19:53]the concept of IM through the words IM and is mentioned 12
[20:01]times in the Quran yeah these numerical wonders of the Quran they're
[20:05]not accidents they're not uh coincidences Allah subhah wa ta'ala knows what
[20:13]he's doing and knows how to you know um how to uh
[20:22]structure the uh Holy Quran nonetheless so in this verse Allah says
[20:29]what oh you who believe obey Allah and obey the messenger and
[20:41]those who have authority over you now here we realize that these
[20:53]people called the people of authority must be infallible why for two
[20:59]reasons number one Allah tal places their obedience on the same level
[21:11]with The Obedience of Allah and the Messenger s and we know
[21:16]that one must obey Allah at all times Allah T commands us
[21:22]to do something then we have to obey him at all times
[21:26]regardless of what the command involves Allah commanded is to slauter a
[21:35]cow they had to submit but it's just a cow Allah tell
[21:38]you have to slaughter it you have to do it right in
[21:44]Allah tells us to to uh to do to Stone these poles
[21:53]called jamarat which represent thean one might say you know this is
[21:58]silly I'm stoning a pole seven times what is this it's not
[22:05]silly Allah telling you you have to do it and you have
[22:09]to do it you're a Muslim you submit to Allah's command not
[22:14]to forget that the deed itself is what is is symbolic it
[22:17]symbolizes stoning the devil when you're stoning the devil you're stoning evil
[22:23]you're becoming an enemy you are revealing your enmity towards evil you're
[22:31]revealing your enmity towards sins Shan represents what Disobedience so when you're
[22:38]stoning you're stoning for example backbiting you're stoning dancing you're stoning listening
[22:48]to music you're stoning causing FNA problems amongst your community Etc so
[22:57]they have to be in fallible because Allah T places their obedience
[23:03]on the same level with whose obedience with his obedience and The
[23:07]Obedience of the Prophet s and we also know that Allah wants
[23:13]us to obey regarding any matter any matter if the prophet tells
[23:18]you s Al to sleep after for example and it tells you
[23:25]you have to do it it's a must you know I'm not
[23:29]telling you this is must it's a command from we have to
[23:32]sleep after after but I have to go by my my medication
[23:36]I have to go to the to the market I have to
[23:40]do this and the prophet said sleep after you have to do
[23:43]it if the prophet says s Muslim were going to battle an
[23:49]enemy it's time to battle whatever we have to do s Alam
[23:59]when Allah says and he places their obedience on the same level
[24:06]with The Obedience of and The Obedience of Allah it means they
[24:10]have to be obeyed at all times which implies that they'll never
[24:15]tell you to do something wrong they'll never tell you to deviate
[24:21]they'll never tell you to disobey Allah if there was a chance
[24:27]they might tell you to disobey God Allah tal would have restricted
[24:32]their obedience and would have said obey them as long as they
[24:38]don't tell you to disobey with the parents Allah says that you
[24:48]should not obey them if they strive to make you mush if
[24:53]they strive to lead you to polytheism so that's number one number
[24:59]two we can also understand that their obedience is absolute meaning you
[25:06]have to obey them in all circumstances we can understand this from
[25:12]the word said obey obey them in What Ya Allah in Salah
[25:18]no not just in Salah all right obey them in issues pertaining
[25:25]to business no not only that which means obey them in regards
[25:31]to all matters in regards to any matter the IM tells you
[25:43]for example if a dad Mouse is found in a large container
[25:52]that contains 20 30 40 lers of olive oil not only olive
[26:01]oil good olive oil and he tells you this is please you
[26:06]know I'm going to lose 30 40 lers of olive oil it's
[26:11]me you cannot consume it because you found a dead mouse in
[26:14]it I have to obey now I can make use of it
[26:19]by doing something else I don't have to to to consume it
[26:24]I can use it for example to um as as fuel for
[26:28]my Lantern previously when people had lanterns they needed fuel for the
[26:31]Lantern and olive oil was was uh a form of fuel that
[26:37]they would use for um for the lanterns so you could still
[26:43]make use of it but you can't consume it or we'll give
[26:51]a another example which is more sensitive someone passes away and the
[26:57]Imam says all right based on your circumstances you do not deserve
[27:05]any part of the inheritance any part of the estate sorry although
[27:10]you're related to the person who passed away there are people who
[27:13]are closer to him than you so you get nothing they get
[27:18]everything if the tells me that I have to submit right I
[27:25]have to submit it's not up to me to choose but this
[27:30]is where some people fail the test when when it's an issue
[27:37]of inherit State and what not people sometimes will cross their limits
[27:41]and will take what is not theirs so when he says obey
[27:47]it means we have to obey them regarding all matters which indicates
[27:50]that they're what they're infallible they'll never mislead us they'll never tell
[27:55]us to do something wrong to commit a sin so that's that's
[28:01]what that's a manifestation of infallibility now the question is all right
[28:16]who are these mysterious people who are infallible you can know who
[28:22]they are by referring to the Quran and to the narrations if
[28:26]we've confirmed their infallibility it means that we have to look in
[28:32]the Quran and see has the Quran confirmed the infallibility of any
[28:37]Muslim other than and the answer is yes it has confirmed the
[28:41]infallibility of who in which Surah which verse 33 the verse of
[28:51][Music] Allah only wishes to deflect to push all impurities away from
[29:07]you away from you meaning the impurities are outside of Allah pushes
[29:12]them away makes those impurities more distant from and to purify you
[29:20]thoroughly beautiful so now if we connect both verses we understand that
[29:25]when Allah says he's saying might say wait wait wait wait this
[29:35]is your and we don't have to take your let's go to
[29:41]the narrations of if we disagree on a matter regarding the of
[29:45]or any any Islamic matter then we have to refer to because
[29:52]the prophet told us I leave amongst you the two heavy wees

[30:06]of we see this exact we have multiple Traditions confirming this reality
[30:22]in fact if you continue the verse Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says
[30:29]in the verse here and if you quarrel about anything meaning oh
[30:38]Muslims if you disagree on a matter and you dispute with each
[30:43]other in regards to that matter then what should you do refer
[30:52]to Allah and the messenger if you believe in Allah and the
[30:58]last day bring it back to Allah bring it back toam for
[31:01]example bring it back to alquran and see what what does the
[31:05]Quran say about this or bring it back to the Sunnah of
[31:07]the prophet and see what does the prophet say about this Sall
[31:12]alaih that being said inshallah next week if we're still alive we're
[31:16]going to present aith by himself which explains who are Hadith by
[31:25]the holy prophet and the nearer of that Hadith is who none
[31:30]other than the prophet tells ja who are in detail
