[0:18]la la a co-owner home alone and Bob respected brothers and sisters
[0:28]Salam alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh the human being is composed of two conflicting
[0:39]dimensions two powers that are constantly pulling you each one pulling towards
[0:49]its side there's two powers Alpo wa al apply Nia and wash
[0:55]away Nia the power of the intellect which is always at conflict
[1:04]with the power of desire so you have the intellect and the
[1:09]desire they're constantly struggling and conflicting with one another your intellect says
[1:16]one thing and your desire says something else and there's always the
[1:24]struggle between the two now we need both of them to survive
[1:27]of course one is more important than than the other and that
[1:31]is of course obviously the intellect however a loss of Hanna note
[1:40]Allah created us with the desires with the desire to eat and
[1:43]sleep and mate and rest and all of these desires that allah
[1:46]subhanaw taala has given us for the sake of our survival so
[1:52]that we live a better life so that we live a healthier
[1:57]life so that we live a happier life however some people they
[2:02]push aside their intellectual power and their desires overcome them and then
[2:08]they become just like the animal what's the difference between them and
[2:13]then in the and Allah gives us that example in the Quran
[2:15]Allah says in the Quran there are people that have that have
[2:20]the intellect but they don't think they have eyes but they don't
[2:23]see they have ears but they don't listen or like hell and
[2:28]I'm Bella home Avan they are like the animals no in fact
[2:31]they are worse than the animals because this is when an animal
[2:36]does something they do what they were born to do what they
[2:39]were created to do but the human being who has the akan
[2:44]who has the power of reason when they go against that and
[2:47]they do things that are worse than animals and they only worship
[2:52]their desires they become worse than the animals now the power of
[2:57]the intellect that Allah subhana WA Ta'ala has given us it is
[3:01]what made the human being the chosen creation out of the billions
[3:08]and billions of creation Allah subhana Allah out of all of the
[3:13]creation Allah chose the human being while a pet karana Bani Adam
[3:16]and we have dignified and honored the children of Adam what is
[3:25]it that made us so dignified is it our strength what is
[3:28]it that made us so dignified here we understand that it's due
[3:34]to the greatest gift that allah subhanaw taala has given us and
[3:38]that is the aachen that is the ability to make sound decisions
[3:41]in life to weigh between right and wrong and make a good
[3:49]decision and in fact it is the power of reason which is
[3:55]even greater than faith and greater than anything else that you might
[4:00]have because it's through a reason that you will reach allah subhanahu
[4:05]wa tada without reason even if you have reached god even if
[4:09]you have religiosity you display religiosity if it's not backed by reason
[4:14]then that's a flawed religiosity in a beautiful hadith by Amir al-mumineen
[4:21]idea by batalov alehissalaam he says that when allah subhanahu wata'ala first
[4:29]created Adam Gibran came to Adam the angel Gibran came to Adam
[4:34]and he tells him Oh Adam you have to choose one of
[4:40]three you either choose the intellect or you choose modesty Etha or
[4:48]you choose today on religiosity but you only can choose one and
[4:54]the other two will go away you can't choose more than one
[5:02]either intellect the power of reason or modesty that unfed that feeling
[5:06]where you want to cover yourself you want to protect yourself something
[5:10]that we all have or religiosity being a medallion adam alayhis-salam and
[5:17]the hadith according to amulet mumineen says that Adam chose the intellect
[5:23]he chose the Apple so Jibril being that he's a messenger he
[5:27]was ordered to do something he goes to the powers of religiosity
[5:35]and modesty and chastity and he tells them to go away because
[5:39]Adam chose Apple the intellect so they reply to Adam they tell
[5:45]him in now Oh Myrna and Natalia a knockin we were ordered
[5:51]to follow the intellect wherever the intellect goes we will follow it
[5:57]so through this hadith Amir al-mumineen he's teaching us that it's through
[6:02]your intellect that you become a religious person it's through your intellect
[6:07]that you will find God and it's through your intellect that you
[6:10]will become modest you might find people who are religious without intellect
[6:17]that religiosity is a flawed religiosity like the college they thought they
[6:22]were religious they went and they waged a war against immune minion
[6:25]or like Osama bin Laden he thinks he's religious but he's going
[6:30]against the religion or some people they think they're modest perhaps they're
[6:36]all covered up but they have the Apple they do not have
[6:42]the intellect so my dear brothers and sisters the greatest gift that
[6:47]allah subhanaw taala has given us is the power of reason and
[6:50]the intellect that's how we make sound decisions in life and that
[6:54]is how allah subhana wa ta'ala honors us and that is what
[7:01]makes the human being the chosen creation and it's through your intellect
[7:05]that you will reach god this is why the hadith says by
[7:08]allah who and beot leo Thira Dafa in allahu allah subhana wa
[7:16]ta'ala sends prophets and messengers not to invent a religion not to
[7:21]come and invent this concept in your mind all they do is
[7:26]they come and they bring out what's already in your intellect and
[7:30]they clear the picture imagine you're looking outside the window and the
[7:35]window is very dirty over time it gets dirtier and dirtier your
[7:39]perception is going to be flawed it's going to be different you
[7:46]won't be able to see so when someone comes and cleans the
[7:49]window then you're going to be able to see very clearly the
[7:55]prophets they didn't come and invent something outside the window all they
[7:59]did was they came and they cleaned the window of our mind
[8:02]so that we could see clearly and they brought out what's already
[8:07]within our mind so this is the power of the intellect but
[8:10]then we have another conflicting side another conflicting dimension and that is
[8:17]the desires in enough center a maratton Basu the desires they're constantly
[8:25]pushing you to obey them allah subhanaw taala as we mentioned gave
[8:30]us desires but these desires they're supposed to be led by the
[8:36]intellect but some people they allow the desires to lead them and
[8:43]and choose their destiny and the path that they choose to live
[8:47]their life on this person is going to be led by their
[8:51]desires and that is a harmful path that is a path that
[8:58]will lead a person towards destruction now another gift that allah subhanaw
[9:04]taala has given us is he's given us the APPA and the
[9:07]desires but allah subhanaw taala because he has honored the human being
[9:11]allah subhanaw taala says i'm not going to force you to be
[9:18]on the right path I'm giving you the respect and the authority
[9:21]to make your own decisions in life you have to be your
[9:26]decision maker if a loss of a no tie lasts forcing me
[9:30]to pray and forcing me to fast and make enforcing me to
[9:33]be this and that person then what's the value of heaven and
[9:38]hell on the day of judgement and this is what scholars call
[9:42]between the the conflict between jabra and tough wheels as God predestiny
[9:48]everything that we do no there's no job because if God is
[9:54]forcing us to do everything no one who did good Allah forced
[9:57]this person and the one who did bad God forced this person
[10:01]then what's the value of jolting them accountable on the day of
[10:04]judgment someone could say if there are some Muslims that believe in
[10:08]this concept by the way so someone could say that imam hussain
[10:14]he it wasn't his choice god forced him to be good and
[10:20]he goes to heaven and god forced here's eat to be a
[10:22]bad person and he goes to hell but that goes against the
[10:26]justice of allah subhanaw taala allah says in the quran in Naha
[10:29]day na ho sabine a massacre on when makkah fora we have
[10:33]showed you the way we have sent you prophets and messengers to
[10:37]guide you and show you the way all that you have to
[10:44]do is choose either you are grateful you accept the message or
[10:49]you reject the message now here allah subhana wa ta'ala describes the
[10:54]believers when you are going through that conflict in life between your
[10:59]intellect and between your desires Allah subhana Allah says in the Quran
[11:04]Sebastian I bad Lavine is Tamir Oh Nicole Fayette Beruna Oksana and
[11:15]give glad tidings to my bad to my servants who listen to
[11:19]what is being said to them and they weigh the options Fayette
[11:23]meruna Oksana then they follow the best of option Phaeton una escena
[11:32]who are they hola aquel novena ha da Hammad la wanna come
[11:36]on and Bob those are the ones who Allah has guided and
[11:42]those are the ones who have the intellect on al Bob my
[11:49]dear brothers and sisters in our lives we face constant challenges we
[11:54]every day we have to make a decision in life from the
[11:57]moment you wake up you make a decision when the alarm clock
[12:03]is ringing in the morning what decision do you make do you
[12:06]hit the snooze button or do you get up for federal prayer
[12:13]that's the first decision and then after that what are you gonna
[12:18]have for breakfast what are you going to eat what are you
[12:21]going to do are you going to do Haram are you going
[12:22]to do halal are you going to be productive in this life
[12:25]or are you just going to be laying around the whole time
[12:27]playing on your xbox what are you gonna do you make the
[12:34]decision a loss of hanate Allah says I'm not forcing you to
[12:36]make a decision we sent you prophets we sent you messengers we
[12:42]showed you the way a hundred and twenty four thousand prophets and
[12:45]messengers were sent just to guide people just to show people the
[12:48]way not to force them to make a decision but just to
[12:52]show them the way it's up to you to accept but just
[12:59]keep in mind whatever decision you make in life that decision is
[13:03]going to define you and that decision is going to be held
[13:07]on with you and you're going to be held accountable for that
[13:11]decision Allah says in the Quran McCullough in Sanon l-jamaa Hopa era
[13:18]who fear on okay one Oakridge allahu yo meltia etiquette are daniel
[13:27]kahneman surah and every single in san every single human being Elsa
[13:31]McCullough and Shannon and Zanna Hoopa era who fear on Oprah every
[13:36]single person they're going to be tied in chains with their own
[13:44]actions whatever you did in this life that's stuck with you that's
[13:48]that's something that you made that decision that's going to define you
[13:52]ba era who fear on okay when you're a Jew who yo
[13:58]meltia etiqueta Banja Luka home insurer on the day of judgment there's
[14:01]going to be a Kitab there's going to be a book that's
[14:07]going to be open and in that book you will see everything
[14:08]that you did in this life every single thing that you did
[14:12]now of course another topic which requires its own lecture is Allah
[14:21]is all forgiving maybe people won't forget maybe if you have a
[14:26]bad credit score it will take you I don't know what seven
[14:28]years for the credit score to to go back to normal a
[14:32]loss of hano attala it takes one hour it takes one moment
[14:38]of repentance one moment of turning to allah with sincerity and allah
[14:44]subhanho wa taala will clear you of your past with allah it
[14:47]will be it will be erased but the only problem is that
[14:52]when we commit a sin when we lit when we make it
[14:56]a habit of committing a sin that sin will not let go
[14:59]of me God will forgive but that sin it will constantly come
[15:04]back to me it's like a it's like addiction allah subhanho wa
[15:09]taala if someone did something Haram for example something that's addictive and
[15:11]something that's how long Allah will tell you I'll forgive you if
[15:14]you're if you're truly and sincerely repented but there are repercussions as
[15:19]a result of what you did if you smoked a cigarette if
[15:23]you drink if you do drugs some of them are addictive now
[15:28]you say you know and you acknowledge that you won't do it
[15:30]and you're not gonna do it but those addictive agents are going
[15:37]to keep haunting you until you overcome them so it's going to
[15:40]be more difficult to overcome them vocal ensign and algebra who fear
[15:48]on okay wha no courage Allahu yo man TMNT kitab and yell
[15:52]command Shura etiquette are back Cafe been fck glioma la caja Seba
[15:57]you read your own book and you judge yourself you see your
[16:02]own actions on the day of judgment there's no secret files that
[16:05]are going to be brought against you everything that you see is
[16:08]going to be everything that you did and you know yourself better
[16:12]than anyone else allah subhanaw taala will bring you to judge for
[16:19]yourself or against yourself and then Allah says in the Quran many
[16:23]tada phenom ayah to deal enough say whoever chose the path of
[16:30]guidance this person did it for their own good when you make
[16:33]a good decision in life my dear brothers and sisters the first
[16:36]beneficiary the first person who will benefit from that good decision is
[16:45]who yourself so allah subhanaw taala on allah is telling you to
[16:50]pray and fast and and live a lifestyle where you don't fall
[16:53]in the haram where you don't do things that are wrong and
[16:57]immoral you're going to be the first person who benefits in this
[17:01]life and in the afterlife many tada venom is a deal in
[17:07]upset one on one laughing am I of a lolly huh and
[17:12]whoever takes the wrong path then they are going to hurt themselves
[17:15]we don't go and do you know typically normal people they won't
[17:20]go and do something that will bring them harm in this life
[17:26]no one goes and drinks poison but a lot of people they
[17:30]don't see the repercussions in the afterlife and they go and they
[17:36]harm their afterlife they only go after this life while rejecting and
[17:40]neglecting the afterlife anta Allah says in the Quran well at a
[17:45]zero a zero 10 wizard okra juan acuña mode verbena hatun abathur
[17:52]isola well access zero wasiatun was Raqqa don't judge someone for someone
[17:58]else's misdoings this means that God is not going to judge you
[18:02]for someone else's actions on the day of judgment Allah is just
[18:05]one acronym at the bean hatun abathur ah sulla and we will
[18:12]not punish anyone until we send them a Warner until we send
[18:15]them a messenger until we send them a guide and in this
[18:20]life Allah subhana Allah is constantly sending us messengers and guides now
[18:27]my dear brothers and sisters we are faced with a challenge with
[18:32]an obstacle every day in our life and every single one of
[18:37]us our obstacle is different our challenge is different some people their
[18:44]challenge is for example when it comes to finances they're making Haram
[18:48]money some people their challenge is when it comes to relationships other
[18:54]people their challenges with their parents sometimes some parents their challenges with
[19:01]their children each person has their own challenge the prophets they were
[19:05]they were challenged the prophets they had to speak to people and
[19:08]guide people and people would not listen to them no sort of
[19:11]lalala Hani Hani he was with the people if you believed some
[19:16]did not believe prophet nooh or prophet ISA prophet Musa the Imams
[19:21]of the animate they all had their own challenges and we have
[19:25]our own challenges my dear brothers and sisters the Muslims they had
[19:30]challenges during the time of rasulullah salallahu alaihe wa some of the
[19:35]difficult trials that the muslims would have to face was that every
[19:44]few months the muslims were being attacked and the muslims had to
[19:49]come out and defend themselves for some they would come out and
[19:52]they would fight and they would defend and they would their honor
[19:58]and their religion and there were others who were lazy there are
[20:01]others who didn't want to go and sacrifice so they would come
[20:06]to Rasulullah sallallahu Island they would try to make an excuse to
[20:10]not be with the prophet and Allah describes that in the Quran
[20:13]whereas the nuke every 10 min home wait whereas that day no
[20:19]Furi Furi from min home and maybe yaku Luna in Naboo chana
[20:22]Ora wanna hear bear watching a URI Doudna Allah for Allah they
[20:30]don't want to join the barrel they don't want to go and
[20:32]defend the Muslims so they come and they told the prophets in
[20:36]the boots and our era we have excuses and we have to
[20:38]defend our houses and our and our families and allah subhanaw taala
[20:45]says in the quran all that they want is Ferrar they want
[20:47]to be of they want to run away that was a test
[20:50]let me give you this story the last expedition of rasulullah sallallahu
[20:56]alaihi wa an expedition to Tabuk Tabuk is a land north of
[21:05]saudi arabia north of the arabian peninsula and that was at the
[21:08]borders with the roman empire at that time so rasulullah sallallahu aleyhi
[21:13]al and he heard that there might be an invasion from the
[21:19]roman empire so the prophets and this was months before the death
[21:23]of the prophets rasulullah sallallahu alehiwassallaam us lumps were going to Tabuk
[21:30]now it was a very hot season it was in the summer
[21:37]and it was the harvesting season so the ones who have planned
[21:41]the ones who have farmed and planted this is the time that
[21:45]they come and they take their harvest they take their dates and
[21:49]it was a very you know it was hot it was summer
[21:55]so some of the hypocrites they did not want to go with
[21:58]the Prophet even the Muslims they found it difficult but the ones
[22:03]who were hypocrites they came and they started making up excuses so
[22:08]they start telling the prophets you know what we have to be
[22:11]here we have to rasool allah sallallahu alayhi wa d he decided
[22:16]to move and of course it was that event the last the
[22:18]last expedition of the Prophet also a lot left Ameer al-mumineen Andhra
[22:22]sort of lack knows that there's going to be no battle but
[22:26]the Muslims don't know that so rasulallah he leaves Ameer al-mumineen and
[22:31]and it was that event where rasulallah tells Ameer al-mumineen Antonini by
[22:36]Manzella T Haruna min Musa lalana BM in body you to me
[22:41]are like what Aaron was to Moses except there's no prophet after
[22:44]me what does this mean this means that when I leave I
[22:48]want you to be in charge and the Saudis that's accepted by
[22:51]all Muslims anyways Ameer al-mumineen you stayed because Rasool Allah ordered him
[22:57]but all of the men they had to leave as they were
[23:02]the caravans and the the army basically was moving going up north
[23:06]slowly some of the Muslims some of the hypocrites they would slow
[23:11]down their donkeys and then turn around and go back home go
[23:16]back to Medina so some of the Muslims they would come to
[23:19]rasulallah and they would tell him like a telephone on this person
[23:24]you know what they turned around and he's not with us anymore
[23:27]so allah would tell them itaku leave him if he's a good
[23:30]person if he's worthy he would join us and if he's not
[23:36]a good person then we don't even need him this happened several
[23:40]times until one of the great companions of Rasul Allah by the
[23:47]name of a Buddha have you heard of a Buddha before a
[23:49]Buddha was one of the greatest companions of rasulallah salallahu alaihe wa
[23:54]amudha was riding a camel his camel got tired and it started
[24:03]slowing down basically his camel got a flat tire so Abu that
[24:06]he's you know he's trying to get the camel to move to
[24:10]catch up with the Prophet the camel keeps slowing down and slowing
[24:14]down and there's a distance starts to emerge between the prophet and
[24:19]a Buddha Abu Dharr slowing and slowing and the caravan is so
[24:24]the Muslims once they couldn't see a Buddha anymore they come to
[24:30]rasulallah and they tell him that Allah for a Buddha Buddha is
[24:33]also he's one of those people sort of sort of laissez at
[24:38]Roku if he is good he'll join us he'll catch up with
[24:43]us and if he's not then we don't want we don't want
[24:44]someone who's not catching up with us so Rasul Allah moved on
[24:52]and the caravan stopped to rest a Buddha he got stranded in
[24:56]the middle of the desert his camel is not moving but he
[25:01]knows he has a duty towards or a sort of Lhasa of
[25:07]Lahani you had and how could he leave rasulallah so Abu Dharr
[25:10]being that he was from the desert Abu Dharr managed to find
[25:17]some water in the middle of the desert he finds water but
[25:20]he does not drink that water in his mind he's thinking that
[25:25]Rasul Allah might be thirsty so he carries that pouch of water
[25:32]with him and he leaves the camel and he starts to run
[25:35]in the desert he starts to run the Muslims they're sitting in
[25:43]their camp suddenly they see someone from very far approaching and they
[25:47]say we see a darkness approaching from the desert rasul allah says
[25:53]allah Amida Buddha oh Allah make it be a Buddha they see
[25:58]a Buddha he's running suddenly he comes to the prophet and he's
[26:06]exhausted he's thirsty he's catching his breath and they run but also
[26:12]lovely' tells them bring him some water he tells them I have
[26:17]water with me but I was carrying this water because I was
[26:19]worried about a sort of loss of Allah Allah God I was
[26:24]worried that a sort of LA might be thirsty and that's why
[26:26]I didn't drink from that water this is a buddha when rasulullah
[26:32]sallallahu alayhi wa sallam óbuda he says the rahamallah abathur may allah
[26:39]have mercy upon a bother young she what way a moot what
[26:47]were you baths owada he walks on his own and he will
[26:51]die alone as he died in robada all alone because of a
[26:56]decision he made because he decided to stand against the authorities because
[26:59]he decided to enjoin the good and forbid the evil they kicked
[27:06]him out during the Khilafah Osman they kicked a Buddha out of
[27:09]Medina and they allowed him to die Andromeda a land with a
[27:12]deserts between Mecca and Medina so rasul allah says yunxi what the
[27:18]hawaii muchas de were you bath owada why because of a decision
[27:25]he made now my dear brothers and sisters this was just a
[27:28]story of some of the challenges that some Muslims went through some
[27:35]of them they felled the tests they left the prophet and others
[27:41]they sacrificed and they went the extra mile to please or sort
[27:45]of lost a little Holly who are they because they know that
[27:50]pleasing rasulallah and satisfying rasulallah that is what will please allah subhanaw
[27:54]taala and when you please God you are doing what your uncle
[28:01]what your intellect tells you to do religion my dear brothers and
[28:07]sisters obedience to God it goes without them find me one ruling
[28:10]that doesn't make sense find me one ruling that country that totally
[28:16]contradicts the oven when a loss of high no time that tells
[28:21]you to pray your intellect knows that we have to show thanks
[28:25]and appreciation to the creator chakra and when I'm all even non-muslims
[28:29]everyone has a need to pray when our loss of a note
[28:35]Allah tells us to give zakat our intellect says that this is
[28:38]something that makes sense when allah subhana WA Ta'ala tells us to
[28:41]abstain from what from drinking alcohol from eating pork from drugs and
[28:49]lottery and gambling and all of these things why does a la
[28:54]semana tada tell us these things they go in line they go
[28:59]hand in hand with our intellect so whenever you're at a point
[29:02]where you have to make a decision ask yourself does this make
[29:05]sense does your mind accept this and does this please allah subhanaw
[29:13]taala does this please what sort of law yes sometimes there's a
[29:17]conflict between culture cultural norms and religion but we have to make
[29:21]sure that we make the right decision and whatever challenge we face
[29:25]in life now I'm going to go through some of the challenges
[29:30]that we face even though my intro was a little bit too
[29:32]long but I'll give you I'll give one example a while ago
[29:40]I was talking to someone and they were saying you know what
[29:44]I don't drink but sometimes I sit on a table sometimes we're
[29:52]out with our friends and some of my friends are drinking so
[29:56]this person didn't know and a lot of people I don't know
[30:01]if a lot of people know this or not but it's haram
[30:03]it's forbidden to be sitting on a table to be sitting on
[30:10]a session where someone is drinking alcohol even you're not drinking someone
[30:15]else is drinking it's haram to sit on that table now someone
[30:19]might say this doesn't make sense you know I'm not drinking why
[30:25]do i why is it haram upon me but here my dear
[30:29]brothers and sisters this is a challenge that some people face but
[30:32]we have to side with our intellect and side with our faith
[30:36]and I replied to this person I was saying that if someone
[30:42]passes by and they see that there's there are some people drinking
[30:46]on this table there's a big chance they're going to think that
[30:49]you're also drinking as well if you're sitting on this table where
[30:55]someone is drinking when people drink what do they do they lose
[31:00]their mind when people drink they're killing their their brain cells and
[31:05]therefore they won't be able to make sound decisions so you're putting
[31:09]yourself at risk you're sitting next to someone who has lost their
[31:15]mind because they're intoxicated because they're drinking and therefore they could harm
[31:20]you therefore they could do something but every now sometimes we understand
[31:27]what the wisdom is behind certain rulings and other times we don't
[31:35]not every time we we totally understand the wisdom behind certain rulings
[31:40]but if we are devout and sincere believers then we have to
[31:44]believe it because God says so a lot of times people ask
[31:48]me say it why is it that this why is it this
[31:52]why that the first answer I say is because God said so
[31:54]right I acknowledge that a loss of a note Allah is my
[31:59]Creator Allah is the most knowledgeable Allah knows what's best for me
[32:04]therefore God ordered me to do something sometimes your parents they tell
[32:08]you we want you to do something when you're young when you're
[32:11]a child you don't understand the reason behind it right they tell
[32:15]you because I said so and then once you grow older you
[32:19]understand the reason behind it but at that time when they were
[32:23]telling you and they were forcing you to do something you didn't
[32:26]understand the reason so when allah subhanaw taala orders of something it's
[32:33]because God said so but also sometimes there is a wisdom behind
[32:36]it so now my dear brothers and sisters should I start with
[32:46]these or these okay so okay if anyone has any questions you
[32:56]will have there's a paper and pen already on your seat or
[33:02]there's extra so you use that and you write down the question
[33:04]even though these are a lot so limits on getting to know
[33:11]the opposite gender how should you how long should you talk for
[33:14]now here this session was titled what should you do so a
[33:18]lot of people when it comes to getting to know someone the
[33:21]the session the the getting to know one another starts dragging on
[33:26]and on and on month turns into months and then it turns
[33:33]into years and then it become it becomes so long so yes
[33:38]when you get when you want when you're getting married you have
[33:40]to know who you're getting married to and you have to try
[33:43]to make sure that there's compatibility but sometimes in the process of
[33:48]getting to know someone you could fall in her on now yes
[33:53]you're allowed to ask certain things you're a lot to ask someone
[33:56]some of the most important things that are on your mind you
[33:58]have the right to ask if you're serious about marriage but some
[34:04]people they're not serious about marriage some people they're just you know
[34:07]they're just sitting and they're hanging out and they go to this
[34:09]restaurant one day and another restaurant and they're just chilling and then
[34:12]they say oh I'm just getting to know people I'm just getting
[34:15]to know her or she's just getting to know him don't cheat
[34:19]yourself you know yourself better than anyone else you make the right
[34:24]decision for yourself so I wouldn't I don't think it takes too
[34:28]long to get to know someone if you're gonna apply for a
[34:31]job if you're picking a university to go to how long does
[34:35]it take for you to decide takes you know a month two
[34:39]months three months more than that that's just going too much you
[34:43]make the decision yes or no you move on okay so this
[34:48]just says loneliness so I'm guessing what to do in times of
[34:52]loneliness what there are many things that you could do one is
[34:58]socialize with your family we have select rahem we have an obligation
[35:03]towards our family we cannot disconnect with our family not play at
[35:09]around disconnecting with the family is Haram so connect with your family
[35:14]with your loved ones make friends have friends there's nothing wrong with
[35:18]that aslam encourages socializing and having friends and as long as it's
[35:24]in the hell out there's nothing wrong with that and coming to
[35:27]the Masjid interacting in the in the house a Nia and mustards
[35:32]and places of worship these are all places where you find friends
[35:35]and I recommend that you find a friend that is on the
[35:37]same ideology as you when you find a friend who's who has
[35:43]a different ideology a different mindset I'm not saying that's Haram but
[35:48]there's a lot of chances of problems emerging like one one example
[35:52]of that that person that was saying my friends are drinking my
[35:55]friends are drinking how are you going to be hanging out with
[35:59]them how are you going to be sitting with them what are
[36:01]you going to you know a lot of problems are going to
[36:04]emerge so this is I don't know someone is joking and there's
[36:09]trying to find the right car I'm not a car salesman so
[36:15]I don't know showing the need to get married yes okay so
[36:23]you have to tell me let me know ok good so showing
[36:27]the need to get married yes it's a natural something natural that
[36:35]allah subhanaw taala created us with the first thing that will show
[36:38]you the need is your body it's going to start showing you
[36:41]the need to get married and it's not just a physical need
[36:47]there's a social need there's a psychological need there's an emotional need
[36:53]and marriage satisfies all of these when people they take the back
[36:57]route and they don't get married and they start having relationships outside
[37:01]of the bounds of marriage those temporary relationships they don't satisfy what
[37:10]marriage satisfies you know they say sleeping at right and the dark
[37:14]is much better than sleeping during the day when the light is
[37:17]on your body it might it might have slept less at night
[37:21]but your body is going to benefit more right I don't you've
[37:25]probably heard that you know that being said before similarly marriage it
[37:32]satisfies the needs that we all have the social need the psychological
[37:36]need the physical need the emotional need even the financial need according
[37:40]to the hadith of Rasul Allah whether you have faith in what
[37:45]the Prophet says that's up to you and the Quran says that
[37:47]in your corner for Cara you haven't home Elohim and from Allah
[37:50]so marriage satisfies the needs and when you begin to show those
[37:58]needs then that's the time that you have to put yourself in
[38:01]a position where you will be able to get married you can't
[38:05]just come out of nowhere and say okay I want to get
[38:09]married that doesn't things don't happen like that you have to prepare
[38:12]yourself you have to put yourself in the environment and then eventually
[38:16]you will find inshallah the right person to get married to trying
[38:21]to wake up for fejoe this is a challenge a lot of
[38:27]people they find that that that is a very big challenge for
[38:30]them especially in the summer because in the winter waking up for
[38:34]fudge was easy when when sunrise is at 7 o'clock it's easy
[38:39]everyone wakes up for in the winter but in the summer it's
[38:42]difficult when you have to wake up at 4:30 and 5 o'clock
[38:48]that's difficult and a lot of people one of the main reasons
[38:50]that people skip out on fejoe is what you're sleeping you're staying
[38:57]up till 2:00 a.m.
[38:58]you're staying up till 1:30 obviously it's going to be difficult to
[39:01]wake up when you're staying up so late you're not going to
[39:07]wake up early if you had a a job interview if you
[39:12]had an appointment if you're meeting someone who is very important you're
[39:17]going to make sure that you sleep early and you get your
[39:20]beauty sleep and your good night's rest so that you wake up
[39:23]and speak to that person right what about if that's a loss
[39:29]of Hana Hana the creator of the universe the one who gives
[39:32]you everything that you might need in life everything that you have
[39:35]in life is from Allah and no Salafi or no tsuki wama
[39:40]hi om Amati lillahi rabbil aalameen so my dear brothers and sisters
[39:46]nothing is impossible it's all about you prioritizing your prayer the moment
[39:53]you prioritize your prayer then you will be able to wake up
[39:56]and then there are other things that you could do for example
[40:00]you put your alarm clock not next to your head you put
[40:02]it somewhere you know a little bit further so you might have
[40:08]to get up so you do certain things or you have someone
[40:10]else in the house wake you up and you wake up that
[40:14]other person there's nothing wrong with waking up the whole house you
[40:17]know some people have the idea that at federal time we have
[40:21]to just keep it quiet and you know no one no one
[40:24]makes a sound no wake up and do Salah and do that
[40:30]on and it's much this is why the federal prayer and the
[40:33]measure and the shot prayer are the jari prayers meaning that when
[40:36]you recite the quran you have to recite bismillah r-rahman r-rahim al-hamdu
[40:40]lillahi rabbil aalameen not like the hora nozzle prayer where you're whispering
[40:46]so so that's one of the philosophies behind that is to wake
[40:52]people up during those times the embarrassment of shaking women's hands so
[41:00]alhamdulillah we are in the kovat era and there's no more shaking
[41:05]hands anymore so you don't have that problem anymore but sometimes before
[41:10]when you did have that problems or if later on you might
[41:14]have that problem you have to tell yourself who do I have
[41:22]to please who do I have to satisfy do I have to
[41:28]satisfy God or do I have to satisfy other people if you
[41:30]tell yourself and you make it a part of your in your
[41:37]mind in your that I can't disobey allah subhanahu wata'ala at all
[41:42]costs I can't disobey allah subhanho wa taala then it will be
[41:45]very easy to do whatever you have to do but if you
[41:50]keep compromising your faith oh I'm embarrassed to pray I'm embarrassed to
[41:54]do this I don't know how to do this then slowly you'll
[41:59]go you'll go down the you know it'll be a Lance it
[42:00]will be something that it's a slippery slope the moment you start
[42:06]compromising once then you tell yourself it's okay then it's going to
[42:10]be okay to keep compromising once again all you have to do
[42:13]is say you know Salaam you put your hand on your on
[42:17]your heart and you say saddam alaikum peace be upon you and
[42:20]this is my way of greeting if you had to if you
[42:24]were in a position that you had to you could be if
[42:29]you're wearing gloves then it's okay here scholars they say if it's
[42:32]extreme hamid if it's extreme you know it's something that is very
[42:38]difficult to endure something that's very difficult then it becomes hard but
[42:42]then this is the the law of Harwich where allah subhanaw taala
[42:46]does not want anyone to go through anything that's intolerable if you're
[42:50]starving in the desert and there's haram food then you would have
[42:54]to eat it so this law applies to everything it's not we're
[43:01]not just saying to shaking hands so this is this is the
[43:04]embarrassment if you tell yourself that I don't want to be embarrassed
[43:08]on the day of judgement then any embarrassment in this life will
[43:16]be okay when in that battle of tabuk some of them they
[43:19]were saying it's really hot so the Prophet tells them the Hellfire
[43:22]is much hotter keep that in mind the Hellfire is much hotter
[43:29]so how can I refrain from RIBA how can I refrain from
[43:32]backbiting this is a challenge some people they pray they fast they
[43:37]go to Hajj but there's one thing that they can't control and
[43:40]that's their tongue backbiting dancers don't do it 1/2 cup wah having
[43:46]table as telling yourself that allah subhanho wa taala is there Allah
[43:50]is watching me don't allow it if you see and how does
[43:58]Libra starts usually the people who are backbiting first they're attending the
[44:04]session where backbiting is going on so they're listening to other people
[44:08]they're listening they're listening and then they start also talking as children
[44:14]they start listening or use you you you want it becomes a
[44:16]habit once you start listening that seabeds when you're listening and when
[44:21]you're talking so one one person the one who's listening anyone who's
[44:25]sitting right away say let's change the topic right away stop this
[44:29]this is gossip this is immoral this is wrong and this is
[44:31]something that you have to stand against and it's according to traditions
[44:37]it is one of the kaabah era there is one of the
[44:40]great sins Reba backbiting Allah says in the Quran o hadouken and
[44:45]Allah if he may turn the character more does anyone like to
[44:52]eat the flesh of their brother when they're dead they can't defend
[44:55]themselves you're eating at their flesh do you like that no one
[44:58]likes to do that Allah says backbiting is the same backbiting is
[45:02]similar to that this person says something I have been struggling with
[45:08]this something I have been struggling with is tension in my family
[45:16]how can I fix this and learn to be more patient as
[45:19]we mentioned earlier one of our greatest obligations is to respect family
[45:27]and it's a test Allah says in the Quran Wakaba rabbuka and
[45:32]latamuda ya woman while edenia sana your Lord has your Lord has
[45:41]decreed that you don't worship anyone other than God and respect your
[45:46]parents it comes right after that and the reason why this is
[45:50]mentioned several times in the Quran M Maya blog Ananda calibre aahed
[46:00]Ohama Oklahoma philosopher Lama fny Latin Hara homopolymer Poland Karima when they
[46:07]become old don't even say off to them you know sometimes your
[46:12]parents tell you go do this for me don't mow the lawn
[46:18]go you know do something here and there and what are they
[46:22]what are some people say they'll do it but they'll say why
[46:28]do I have to do this Allah says in the Quran well
[46:30]at Oklahoma often in a hadith I believe from imam zain al-abideen
[46:36]alayhi salam he says that if there was anything less than this
[46:39]off the Quran would have mentioned it meaning that that's the least
[46:42]thing you could do now some people they start cursing they start
[46:48]talking back they start doing so much more so you have to
[46:51]tell yourself if this is a a something that starts tension in
[46:56]the family you have to tell yourself that this is my test
[47:00]this is something that I have to deal with and tell yourself
[47:06]that this is what God is testing me with God tests this
[47:09]person with something this person with another thing God is testing me
[47:12]with this do I show respect to the ones who cared for
[47:17]me loved me the ones who raised me or do I not
[47:21]now sometimes the parents are wrong in fact many times the parents
[47:25]are wrong however even if they're wrong you can't talk back to
[47:31]them these are the teachings of islam allah subhanaw taala wants us
[47:36]to respect our parents you give them the proper respect it doesn't
[47:41]mean you have to do everything they're telling you to do but
[47:46]you don't hurt them you don't disobey them where they become hurt
[47:50]so you have to make sure that you are always treating your
[47:54]parents with a son and in a hadith from imam sadiq ali
[48:02]salaam he says the person who the person who disobeys their parents
[48:09]allah subhanahu wata'ala will not accept this person's prayer even if the
[48:16]parents they are the volume even if the parents they are the
[48:20]oppressors well ho ma the whole Valley man what does this mean
[48:26]this means that you have to this is a test for you
[48:29]you have to treat them with their sign with kindness and even
[48:33]there are some verses in the Quran because some of the those
[48:35]who were becoming Muslim their parents were idol worshippers the Quran was
[48:40]these verses of respect to parents was when they are Idol worshipers
[48:43]even if their Idol worshipers you have to respect them but you
[48:46]don't obey them when they're telling you to disobey allah subhanaw taala
[48:49]because we have a general rule lapa attend Emma Luke FEMA Seattle
[48:56]conop you don't just you don't obey any creation at the expense
[49:01]of disobeying the Creator so you try to fix it by strengthening
[49:06]your relationship with your parents by talking to them by avoiding avoiding
[49:14]a topic that will ignite tension try to avoid that topic don't
[49:19]talk back try to put yourself in a happy mood where you
[49:23]don't have to talk about that don't start a topic a conversation
[49:31]that is going to cause problems for you people prioritizing culture over
[49:37]religion and marriage etc yes this is a challenge you see that
[49:41]when it comes to marriage a lot of religious people they forget
[49:46]their religion and they start going after culture we have to keep
[49:51]in mind that it is a loss of hano Matata that we
[49:55]have to please it's not the auntie and the grandma and whoever
[49:58]is attending the wedding they'll come if you didn't do this or
[50:02]if you didn't do that they're gonna complain anyways most of the
[50:05]time but you have to tell yourself I have to satisfy allah
[50:08]subhanaw taala I have to make sure that Allah subhana WA Ta'ala
[50:13]is satisfied with me and culture there's nothing wrong with cultures as
[50:19]long as culture does not go against religion you're allowed to express
[50:24]your culture you're allowed to celebrate in your way but the moment
[50:28]your culture starts going against what God is telling you to do
[50:31]then that becomes a challenge and you have to make sure that
[50:39]you prioritize your faith and prioritize a loss of Hanna Tala because
[50:43]it is Allah who will hold you accountable and it is Allah
[50:48]who will be rewarding you and it is a loss of Hannah
[50:50]Allah who we will have to stand in front of under their
[50:57]judgement Allah o yama is in bahaminy Bhavan I do inland muta
[51:00]Fein Allah says in the Quran all relationships will turn sour on
[51:08]the day of judgment relationships will turn into animosity on the day
[51:15]of judgment llame ephemeral min-hee well on me will be on the
[51:19]day of judgment the brothers they will say I don't know this
[51:23]brother anymore the mother she will let go of her son the
[51:25]father would let go of their children the children will let go
[51:30]of their parents why because on the day of judgment everyone wants
[51:33]to go into paradise everyone wants to be saved from the Hellfire
[51:37]but they'll come and they'll tell you listen you're not gonna go
[51:41]to heaven or you're going to be delayed five hundred thousand years
[51:45]because of this transaction that you did because you were trying to
[51:54]please this person then this person is going to say I wish
[51:57]I was not friends with this person yeah they eat any lemon
[52:04]at akkad rollin and Kalina only if I didn't take this person
[52:07]as a friend only if I didn't follow what they were telling
[52:12]me to do Allah we all man isn't Bottomly Bhavan I do
[52:15]Ellen what a pain the only relationship that will last until the
[52:21]day of judgement is a relationship that is based upon tawa upon
[52:26]piety your friends for the sake of Allah you were helping this
[52:30]person you were supporting this person for the sake of God you
[52:34]weren't colluding to do something Haram but you were together to do
[52:39]something good then that is it going to be a healthy relationship
[52:42]that you will be proud of and the same goes with culture
[52:47]and marriage or in whatever decision we make in life we have
[52:51]to make sure that we are pleasing Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala we
[52:54]got this question again how does one deal with being lonely and
[53:01]feeling lonely we mentioned family friends and of course there's a loss
[53:07]of Hana Hana the one who is there for everyone who's lonely
[53:10]the one who's there to listen to you when all others have
[53:16]shut the door in your face Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala Allah Allah
[53:20]that man envelope top terminal poop it is through the remembrance of
[53:27]Allah that the hearts will be at peace so if you're lonely
[53:29]and you see that you find it difficult to make friends you
[53:38]find it difficult to find good friends then you don't have to
[53:42]have friends at that particular time I'm your own minion Ali of
[53:46]nabi Talabani salaam all his friends were killed amar look dad look
[53:54]that wasn't I don't know if dad was killed but my dad
[53:59]died Malik Ashtar all of those good friends he stands in Kufa
[54:06]and he starts calling him he starts remembering them aina i'm erin
[54:10]what a nub not a johanna aina the shia detain where are
[54:12]those good friends that I had but then he says they all
[54:17]answered the call to Allah and they left this life Amir al-mumineen
[54:21]didn't have many friends Amira Nene he says being with the Haqq
[54:25]left Lee left me alone no one no one could stand the
[54:32]Justice of alia never thought it if that's the reason that you're
[54:36]alone then good for you but if you're alone because you don't
[54:41]have social skills then that's a different issue islam teaches us to
[54:47]have proper social skills be kind be generous invite people be giving
[54:52]smile with people these are all good things that the religion of
[54:58]Islam calls for if you don't have social skills try to work
[55:00]on those but if you do have and you don't have friends
[55:05]because of your religion that know that allah subhanaw taala is always
[55:09]a friend yarn or run most Ohashi nephilim a loss of a
[55:18]note Allah is the light of those or all along laziness that's
[55:23]all it says laziness I guess this person was too lazy to
[55:26]ask I'm just kidding I guess this Brit was too difficult to
[55:29]write down what is it anyways from what I understand is how
[55:36]to deal with Blasi Nisour what's the solution for laziness I don't
[55:41]know laziness is not encouraged you have this potential that allah subhanahu
[55:47]wa'ta'ala has given you a loss of hannah what allah has given
[55:54]you power Allah has given you mind Allah has given you energy
[55:57]you could do so much look at what so many people have
[56:03]accomplished so many people have accomplished so much every day they're working
[56:09]every every day they do something be productive my dear brothers and
[56:14]sisters especially during this kovat era during the stay at home order
[56:17]some people they just stayed at home they didn't do anything they
[56:19]didn't accomplish anything ask yourself what did you accomplish during this time
[56:25]it's summer what are you doing right now either find yourself studying
[56:33]find yourself teaching find yourself working find yourself doing something productive Amir
[56:40]al-mumineen he divides people he says people are in categories either eylem
[56:47]or much on them either you're a scholar that's teaching or you're
[56:54]learning last a billion a giant a loss of hanasanai wants us
[57:01]to be productive don't tell yourself oh it's I shouldn't do this
[57:04]and I shouldn't do that a lot of people right now they're
[57:07]just receiving unemployment benefits and they quit from their job the job
[57:11]is calling them telling them come back to work they say no
[57:18]I'm receiving my free money so we have to work my dear
[57:20]brothers and sisters in the long run working pays off more than
[57:25]sitting at home and not doing anything I'm you know I'm a
[57:28]man backer it has said that a mammal backer alehissalaam one day
[57:33]a man he saw a mammal battered out in the field he's
[57:36]farming he's working in the foreign and he's sweating he's sweating and
[57:44]you know the heat of Arabia the Imam Ali Saddam is working
[57:46]now a mammoth backer was a teacher and I'm and batgirl used
[57:48]to teach the highest levels of knowledge and I'm a banker was
[57:53]not a farmer but he used to go out and work he
[57:58]used to go out and plant and foreign so a man passes
[58:00]by and he sees a madman backward sweating he comes to him
[58:06]and he tells him yep never so Allah if you die like
[58:08]this what are people going to say you're killing yourself you're exhausting
[58:12]yourself you might die because you're out in the field working and
[58:19]I'm and Baca replies if I die in any other way while
[58:21]I'm at home relaxing and not doing anything what should I answer
[58:26]a Muslim I'm not tired meaning that there's no shame in working
[58:30]there's no shame in working your body working your mind going to
[58:35]doing things and a good Muslim a good movement is a hard
[58:42]worker I'm here on my knee Nadia blab you taught him he
[58:45]planted thousands of trees Amir al-mumineen he dug many wells probably hundreds
[58:55]of Wells amirul mumineen dug them in the Arabian Peninsula that was
[58:58]how a man Amir al-mumineen worked and he made money for that
[59:04]and the wealth that came to his children imam hassan and husayn
[59:07]a lot of it was because of the work their own work
[59:11]and the work of amir al-mu'minin he planned to trees and in
[59:15]Islam there is a beautiful rule where the is something that Islam
[59:21]brought Allah subhana WA Ta'ala says and the Quran not in the
[59:25]Quran the hadith of the Prophet Allah Rivoli la women America the
[59:32]earth belongs to God and whoever harvests harvest so if you're in
[59:37]the desert you go and you plant and you bring the water
[59:40]and you grow trees this land becomes yours according to Islam now
[59:45]today the government's they've taken everything and you know you have to
[59:51]go and buy and pay tax and Aslam says a lot of
[59:52]Allah when I'm in America you go out and you plant in
[59:56]this empty land that doesn't belong to anyone you didn't take it
[59:59]from anyone it was an empty land this land becomes yours so
[60:03]I'm not telling you of course to just go and take land
[60:05]right now because this will be against the law right now but
[60:11]this is the law that Islam would encourage and accept so laziness
[60:15]remove that from your life and our daily routine schedule when we
[60:21]have to wake up at fudger law and our prayer Megara banish
[60:26]our prayer the our prayer helps us schedule our day and that
[60:31]removes or should remove laziness daily challenges stay calm at all times
[60:40]so staying calm not being angry the the hadith says that anger
[60:45]burns the faith the same way fire burns the wood meaning anger
[60:53]will take away every good everything good that you've done you find
[60:57]some people they've worked so hard they've done so much but because
[61:00]they can't control their anger they do something which angers people and
[61:05]that is going to take away the love you have to control
[61:11]your anger the second is what to listen to in the car
[61:13]besides music I always listen to the podcasts lectures but what do
[61:24]you recommend instrumentals I mean podcasts lectures TED Talks anything that will
[61:31]benefit you benefit something benefits you for your acura like the Quran
[61:35]like lectures like Doha or something that helps you in this dunya
[61:39]you have a project you want to learn something regarding this dunya
[61:46]has something new listen to that listen to the news you'll be
[61:51]informed listening to music some people hours and hours go by and
[61:55]they're just listening to music and many times it's probably the same
[62:01]song so that's just wasting time you're wasting time you're not being
[62:05]productive how many hours are you behind the wheel and some states
[62:10]people they go one hour to work and then another hour coming
[62:13]back that's two hours every day you're in the car what are
[62:20]you listening to be productive during that time don't waste your time
[62:24]allah subhana wa ta'ala will hold you accountable and try to benefit
[62:27]from what you're listening to or you could be on the phone
[62:34]as long as you know you have the the driving what does
[62:36]it called the driving mode where the hands-free mode so you don't
[62:42]you know cause problems for yourself and for others call people call
[62:47]your friends call your family call your relatives and this is something
[62:51]that is encouraged fighting the urge to fight sins that everyone around
[62:55]you is doing for example listening to music and backbiting same thing
[62:59]my dear brothers and sisters don't fall for what other people are
[63:04]doing know that allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the one who we
[63:07]have to please and these relationships they will turn sour if they're
[63:11]not based upon the satisfaction of allah subhanahu wata'ala wearing a job
[63:16]when you receive death threats people being rude to you your family
[63:24]not liking you wearing hijab I mean I don't think people receive
[63:29]death threats because of the hijab if your life is in danger
[63:34]than the loss change obviously but I don't think you know maybe
[63:41]someone tweeted something thousands of miles away on the Internet you know
[63:45]something generally we live in a free society where Muslim woman there
[63:50]practicing her job and her job is generally you know especially in
[63:54]Michigan here it's something that is you see it very frequent and
[64:01]something that is generally accepted so that shouldn't be the case if
[64:05]you're receiving death threats then the laws would change because preserving life
[64:10]is more important but I don't think that that even happens or
[64:15]if it does happen it's not a direct threat but people being
[64:19]rude to you yes that might happen or your family not liking
[64:24]you or her job let them not like it allah subhanho wa
[64:27]taala likes it a loss of Hannah no Tyler wants that from
[64:31]you are you going to do what your family wants or what
[64:35]allah subhanaw taala wants we mentioned earlier napa art endemic Luke FEMA
[64:40]CEO Tim Qaeda you can't obey the creation at the expense of
[64:44]disobeying the Creator so you have to make sure that Allah is
[64:50]happy with you Allah says in the Quran that become far they
[64:53]would ridicule they would make fun of the prophets and the manin
[64:56]Allah says that Allah who Astacio be him Allah makes one of
[65:02]them as well on the day of judgement they're going to feel
[65:05]that they made the wrong decision but don't make you don't make
[65:10]the wrong decision if other people are making the wrong decision and
[65:14]the other point is we have to my dear brothers and sisters
[65:19]we have to convince people why we do things when I'm praying
[65:22]when I'm fasting when I'm practicing her job and modesty I have
[65:26]to be convinced with it one and I have to convince other
[65:33]people in a proper way I have to let them know why
[65:35]I'm doing this why this makes sense if you do that if
[65:40]you talk with people kindly people will listen to you trust me
[65:44]you show them the flower to the manners of Islam people will
[65:51]accept you people are willing to change you just have to show
[65:55]them but if you're going to have a bad attitude and you're
[65:58]not going to be willing to show them then yes people are
[66:02]going to give you bad manners but we have many examples of
[66:05]individuals who were able to change the perception that others had towards
[66:13]them because of a flaw because of their manners because of their
[66:17]kindness because of what they did this person who's rude to you
[66:20]you go and you give them a gift you smile in their
[66:24]face you show them an act of kindness and you will see
[66:26]that they will change what do you think about a girl and
[66:34]guy being strictly friends being strictly friends what does it mean I
[66:39]mean if someone is going to break the laws of a job
[66:44]and the laws of modesty and chastity then it becomes how long
[66:48]but if they're in a place at school at work and they're
[66:51]they're socializing and they're socializing is not going any further there's no
[66:59]bad intentions behind it then and they're working on something productive for
[67:06]example they're working on a project they're working at something at the
[67:10]Masjid at school work then there's nothing wrong with that but just
[67:14]to find a friend where it's just a guy and girl they're
[67:18]going gow and they just want to go have lunch together they
[67:20]want to have dinner together they want to go out for you
[67:28]know one of these ice cream places here Shatila then I mean
[67:33]that's not going that's going to look like it's it's a little
[67:39]bit you know it wouldn't it probably wouldn't be allowed because what's
[67:43]the purpose behind this what's the purpose behind this going out yes
[67:47]if you're being productive if you're working on something a greater goal
[67:53]there is room for it to be allowed as long as the
[67:57]environment as long as you're not in a secluded place there's something
[68:01]called Kahlua meaning a man and a lady a boy girl they're
[68:06]together in a room where the door is locked or no one
[68:12]has access to them they're sitting in a room and the doors
[68:16]locked this is how long this is called Kahlua can you imagine
[68:20]a BIA meaning that someone who's she's not related to you she's
[68:25]not your wife and you're together here Shaitaan could come and estimate
[68:30]earth nan Kenneth Anitha Homa a Shaitaan if to gather the third
[68:37]will be Shaitaan now you might say I have pure intentions and
[68:40]this and that but if you do then you have to make
[68:44]sure that if you're gathering for a work for something work-related or
[68:48]anything then you have to make sure that you're gathered in a
[68:51]public place where nothing had on nothing indecent can happen don't give
[68:57]people the excuse even when people see you they're going to say
[69:03]either they're married or they're going to say something bad is going
[69:08]on don't allow people to assume that in you protect your own
[69:13]modesty protect your own you know your own image one day rasul
[69:18]allah sallallahu alayhi wa know he was walking with one of his
[69:21]wives he was walking and the muslims they saw the Prophet SAW
[69:24]Rasul Allah they saw the Prophet walking with a lady Rasul Allah
[69:30]right away he tells them this is my wife so they tell
[69:32]him you know so Allah no one assumed anything no one doubted
[69:37]in you he tells them yes but rahamallah and jab bellybutton FC
[69:44]may the mercy of Allah be upon the one who stops the
[69:49]D but don't give people the opportunity to talk about you to
[69:52]say look what she's doing look what he's doing so he tells
[69:54]them this is my wife so that no one could come in
[69:59]question but sort of muscle on the Hani here on I am
[70:04]struggling with properly getting to know somebody how do I go about
[70:11]it so you have to before getting to know someone this requires
[70:14]a full lecture in itself but before getting getting to know someone
[70:18]you have to know yourself and you have to know your your
[70:23]your own priorities the process of finding someone it helps you find
[70:31]yourself it helps you discover yourself what do you like what do
[70:37]you want if you want a girl who is out and you
[70:38]know going out and every day she's socializing at this hookah lounge
[70:42]and at this place then that's the type of person you are
[70:45]if the girl wants a guy who is also you know careless
[70:52]about their income and careless about their interactions and who they sit
[70:57]with and who they socialize with then that will also reveal themselves
[71:01]so you have to get to know yourself first make a list
[71:10]of priorities write down write down what you want in a person
[71:13]and then when you think of a person see if they meet
[71:19]these qualifications but you have to know what qualifications to prioritize and
[71:23]what to not prioritize from the Islamic perspective you should prioritize faith
[71:27]and you should prioritize Manners a clap because a person who has
[71:34]faith and a flock they're not going to harm you they're not
[71:38]going to hurt you they have their own moral principles knowing God
[71:50]beyond my intellect I understand it all with my mind but I
[71:55]struggle hanging knowing God beyond my intellect I understand it all with
[72:02]my mind but I struggle hanging on to faith I feel because
[72:07]I don't know how to connect with him through my heart so
[72:13]faith is a challenge faith is a it's a test for everyone
[72:19]and that's why it's called faith because if it was something that's
[72:23]right in front of you something that is that is very easy
[72:28]then it wouldn't be called faith anymore so faith is believing in
[72:33]something that your eyes don't see your senses don't feel but your
[72:37]heart senses it your mind senses it this is what faith is
[72:43]right now do you guys all have faith that a virus by
[72:46]the name of Corona exists the corona corona or kovat yes it's
[72:53]the corona virus do you all have faith that it exists yes
[72:58]because scientists are telling us that it exists have we seen it
[73:04]no we have not seen it but we believe that it exists
[73:09]we have faith that it exists and therefore because we have faith
[73:13]that exists you're all wearing masks we're practicing social distancing we're being
[73:18]very careful we keep pumping the hand sanitizer in our hands and
[73:24]we're very careful because we have faith in what the scientists and
[73:29]what experts are telling us same with allah subhanaw taala when your
[73:33]heart and your mind tells you that how is there so much
[73:36]structure in this universe who created all of this this is allah
[73:44]subhanaw taala so once you believe in that tell yourself that there's
[73:49]accountability there's a saab allah subhanaw taala will hold people accountable and
[73:54]slowly your faith will grow and faith is not a light switch
[73:56]where you switch it on and off it's a process you have
[73:59]to begin you have to work on that process this is why
[74:02]we pray this is why we pray five times a day this
[74:06]is why we do with Lu this is why we go to
[74:08]Hajj this why we fasted Ramadan this is why we read Quran
[74:10]because everything that we do strengthens our faith challenging practicing Nos yes
[74:24]brother yes so Shaitaan tries to take us away from faith and
[74:35]Shaitaan his whole mission and his old objective is to make us
[74:43]lose faith in allah subhanaw taala by making us look at this
[74:47]dunya follow our desires but we have to have faith in allah
[74:51]subhanaw taala because allah says in the quran yeah I don't home
[74:56]escape on Lamai yeah I don't mom in la flora Shaitaan makes
[75:02]promises but he makes false promises he's trying to fool you who
[75:05]should I trust should I trust the one who created me the
[75:09]one who gave me everything that I have the one who loved
[75:11]me the one who nourished me in the womb of my mother
[75:15]the one who provided for me when all others shut me out
[75:18]or should I trust Shaitaan who wants to take me away from
[75:24]paradise I have to trust a loss of Hana Hana and when
[75:28]I tell myself that Allah is the one who has the blessings
[75:31]and the favour upon me then therefore my faith will slowly increase
[75:36]in allah subhanaw taala at that time okay challenges practicing a class
[75:43]and every day insecurity and loneliness once again so a class mean
[75:48]being genuine to allah subhanahu wata'ala being genuine to allah subhanaw taala
[75:55]being genuine in your faith if you constantly remind yourself that God
[76:03]is watching you right now you came to the Masjid did you
[76:06]come for other people there or did you come for God you
[76:08]whatever you do in your life you're you're doing you're bringing a
[76:13]cup of water to your parents are you doing that for other
[76:15]people are for allah subhanaw taala make sure that any act of
[76:20]good that you do in life tell yourself that this is for
[76:22]a loss of high note Allah make God a part of the
[76:26]equation make God a part of your life that is how you
[76:28]practice a class once Allah becomes a part of your life in
[76:34]times of struggle you tell yourself God can help me out of
[76:35]this in times of need you tell yourself God can help me
[76:40]out of this in all times you tell yourself God make God
[76:43]a part of the equation like Ameer al-mumineen he says I do
[76:47]not see anything except I see God within it before it and
[76:52]after it and therefore God becomes a part of your life God
[76:55]becomes a part of the equation and you will start having a
[76:59]class you will start doing things for allah subhanaw taala the last
[77:05]thing it says it's an Arabic are the socks I assume that
[77:09]it's for the ladies are they obligatory this is an issue where
[77:16]some scholars are have difference in opinion but the it's the obligatory
[77:22]precaution from what I believe is that the the top of the
[77:25]feet should be covered and that is also out of precaution it
[77:32]should be covered otherwise the the head job they say that the
[77:37]what's allowed to be revealed is the face and the hands other
[77:41]than that the body should be covered and the feet as well
[77:46]so with that we end and we ask Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala
[77:53]to bless you all and make us from the ones who are
[77:55]able to make sound decisions in our lives levena a tribunal bone
[78:02]fair table una escena well hamdu lillahi rabbil aalameen was Allah muhammadun
[78:08]wada pav Harry
