[24:44]Now help me welcome our dear respected S Muhammad Hass with a
[24:49]loud salawat Muhammad Ali Muhammad to remember Hussein Alisam salawat.
[25:04]Okay.
[25:36]In honor of those who have contributed throughout these nights, the sponsors
[25:40]and for the families of the and the let us give them
[25:47]a Alhamdulillah.
[26:14]Alhamdulillah.
[26:25]Muhammad.
[26:47]Allah.
[26:52]for foral.
[27:48][clears throat] foreign.
[28:19]Respected brothers, respected scholars, brothers and sisters.
[28:49]History knows remembers conquerors.
[28:55]Revelation remembers.
[28:59]Before there was an army and before there were followers and before
[29:07]there were multitudes of loyal supporters, there was one woman.
[29:11]She stood with him despite him being claimed and called delusional.
[29:18]And she stood with him to the very end.
[29:25]Such that he said in very strict bold words, "Had it not
[29:28]been for the sword of Ali and the wealth of Khadijah, Islam
[29:34]would have perished." Tonight, we don't only honor a woman who came
[29:39]in history and left her mark in history.
[29:42]We honor a woman who left one of the biggest marks in
[29:45]Islam.
[29:46]Who left a impact that till today reverberate in its influence, in
[29:53]its sacrifice, in its loyalty, in its obedience.
[29:57]Despite the whole world going one way, she stood firm because she
[30:04]knew wherever the truth goes, I go that way.
[30:05]And it doesn't matter whether the numbers are on our side, the
[30:11]media is on our side, whether we have money or not.
[30:14]Everything we have comes from God.
[30:18]And if God is with you, nothing can destroy you.
[30:20]Such was the legacy, the epicness of She generally speaking is cocooned
[30:35]to her role as the wife of the holy prophet of Islam.
[30:40]Whereas earned that title and earned that status by taking the initiative
[30:45]on multiple fronts.
[30:45]Oftent times there are social standards for how a upright woman ought
[30:51]to behave in society especially when it comes to her potential prospect
[30:59]and her future.
[30:58]Say understands that the role of society is not in favor of
[31:05]women.
[31:05]At that time period you were lucky to be born alive.
[31:07]It was rather the case that if you were born to a
[31:11]family who had a degree of intelligence, they would consider not bearing
[31:16]you alive, as the Holy Quran records for us.
[31:22]And if the infant child on the day of judgment comes forth,
[31:26]she will say, "For what crime was I killed, burying me alive?"
[31:29]What's the deal here?
[31:30]misogynistic, backward, hated, very vile, oppressive, barbaric, bloodthirsty society is not going
[31:41]to look out for the best interest of a lady upright, pious,
[31:47]god-fearing, chasteed, modest such as a khadijah.
[31:52]But she played her cards right.
[31:53]See, lady, she is known to be very wealthy and successful, entrepreneurial
[31:58]if one might even describe her.
[32:00]But that didn't come out of the blue and it's not simply
[32:05]a matter of inheritance as many historians and orientalists have reached a
[32:08]conclusion towards that she became very successful because of you know her
[32:12]father and his father and so forth to because she is also
[32:21]a distant relative cousin to Allah.
[32:23]They meet in the grandfather, the common grandfather by the name of
[32:28]see he isoolahbin Hashim if I can go on I I'll take
[32:46]too long but so he's about six generations back she meets back
[32:49]at that same grandfather as well her greatgrandfather father when he passed
[32:55]he left behind that massive inheritance that then generationally went down.
[33:01]The thing that's impressive isn't the fact that she just got this
[33:03]much money and dealt with it.
[33:07]Is the management of that such that she made it into a
[33:13]successful ongoing and passive incomedriven business whereby she would simply be recognized
[33:18]as the most wealthy woman of all of Quraysh.
[33:23]One hadith by the book alum mentions this book is a nonia
[33:27]historian but he just simply dictates and shows us look at the
[33:32]wealth that she amassed it's not a matter of it's just standard
[33:35]history say according to one tradition owned has a this is a
[33:42]very bizarre number because each one of these is tantamount to a
[33:46]car today 80,000 camels a camel back then if you owned it
[33:52]and you didn't rent It it was like you could say, let's
[33:54]call it like a G Wagon because it lives very long, minimal
[33:59]maintenance, although G Wagons need a lot of maintenance.
[34:02]I don't know how I know, but I just hear and uh
[34:06]the insurance is high and this and that.
[34:06]This was extremely valuable and especially the different qualities and types there
[34:11]are out there.
[34:13]She owned 80,000 of these and so she would rent them out
[34:15]to businesses, to people that needed them.
[34:18]She would also have the caravan and she was the dictator of
[34:23]this business.
[34:22]She would dictate as such and she would make wise decisions.
[34:27]That's what's impressive that it's not a matter of inheritance.
[34:29]So people inherit.
[34:31]If a father has one lone daughter, she's going to inherit everything.
[34:35]But what was impeccable is that even though her father left the
[34:39]world when she was a young age, was her father by the
[34:45]name of kind of reminds you of the uh mother of immorts
[34:51]back then however and so her father passed in one of the
[34:56]early wars in the period of Islam and she grew up an
[34:58]orphan.
[34:59]These are common things that one can imagine would be something they
[35:04]could bond with.
[35:06]She grew up an orphan.
[35:07]Allah grows up an orphan.
[35:10]They share common denominators.
[35:11]They are distant relatives as well.
[35:14]Yes, she inherits this but she manages to make it expand exponentially.
[35:19]She invests it properly.
[35:21]She doesn't rob or cheat or steal or use interest and usery
[35:26]to make it difficult on others.
[35:28]She maintained such a successful business that she was completely independent in
[35:34]her own life choices such that she was called.
[35:37]She's if you look at her, she's pretty much a princess.
[35:40]Where did her wealth come from?
[35:41]She made it.
[35:43]She got it.
[35:44]She amassed it.
[35:44]Not only that, another famous well-known title of hers, and this one's
[35:51]impeccable.
[35:50]Pre-Islam, she's called Yeah.
[35:53]I mean, where's Tahara pre-Islam?
[35:54]Show me.
[35:55]I can't find a single one except a few households.
[35:58]Ali and then for example imminad show me pre-Islam they had no
[36:07]concept or conceptualization of purity be it spiritually nor physically and then
[36:14]to be titled that you're not given titles nor accolades unless this
[36:18]is something that has merged into your identity we call it it
[36:23]has merged in her qualities that she no she's if you in
[36:28]Mecca.
[36:29]Oh, you're talking about aren't you?
[36:31]She's pure.
[36:32]Impurities never reached her.
[36:33]Alcohol was never around her.
[36:35]She would always be upright.
[36:39]And furthermore, she followed the path of Abraham.
[36:43]She never came near idolatry.
[36:46]And she was that unique.
[36:48]It's in fact quite bizarre to see this.
[36:51]Unless the hand of God is behind this.
[36:55]Allahel is tailoring her.
[36:56]One hadith mentions that a monk emerged and began to foretell a
[37:03]group of women who were gathered at one point and he said
[37:06]to these women in Mecca that you women it is perhaps the
[37:10]case and this was a monk who would have access to ancient
[37:13]scripture.
[37:13]By the way, till today we have some of these scripture and
[37:17]even back then they had more access to it where it foretells
[37:22]the coming of a last final messenger from the town and city
[37:26]of Mecca in that Pan Valley as according to the Old Testament
[37:33]that God showed his manifestation on Mount Pan.
[37:35]These are all references but to them the early monks they had
[37:40]direct access to these scripture and it mentions that there will be
[37:44]a final messenger one of you woman would marry him.
[37:48]The other women took this as some kind of joke.
[37:49]Khadijah remembered this.
[37:53]She recalled this and many people raise question that for her age
[37:58]to not be married is quite bizarre is out of the ordinary.
[38:05]She would be about the age of 28 years old, single, but
[38:07]by her own accord.
[38:10]It's her own choice.
[38:10]She's no one's no one's forcing her.
[38:13]She's her own woman.
[38:15]She can make her own decisions.
[38:17]And many historians reach a conclusion that it's not because of her
[38:21]social status necessarily because what there are other men who are rich.
[38:26]Abu Sufyan actually proposed to her.
[38:28]Yuck.
[38:29]Abu Sufyan, Muawi's dad, proposed to someone known as you.
[38:33]You can see the rejection letter came in flying like that.
[38:37]It's because of her high standards.
[38:42]And it's interesting to see that Khadijah's standards were so important and
[38:50]they were so to her necessary that she is willing to postpone
[38:54]ever getting married if unless I find these standards.
[38:58]It wasn't a matter of preference rather it was conditional and you're
[39:02]entitled to have preferences.
[39:03]No one's going to blame you for having a preference from perhaps
[39:06]a certain region of the world certain for example profession that one
[39:11]entertains certain age range.
[39:14]These are all preferences but there are conditions and these conditions she
[39:18]did not compromise with.
[39:20]Some of these conditions involved period it would be a lottery to
[39:27]find someone who had some sort of was non-existent.
[39:29]No way.
[39:31]Back then racism they would be extremely drunkered gambling was common.
[39:39]Unfortunately exposure people would not really dress.
[39:40]The Quran records for us a glimpse that they would do circabulating
[39:47]the cabba unclod what left the window exited the chat in Mecca
[39:51]pre-Islam where was that to her that's conditional you can be as
[39:54]good-looking you can be very wealthy you could be strong you can
[39:59]own a lot of like you can sway you can try swaying
[40:01]hey I have thousands of uh horses and camels and livestock oh
[40:06]yeah well I have 80,000 that's not going to win me over
[40:08]plus she's not materialistic her standards which is a lesson to us
[40:12]both men and women by the way that if it comes to
[40:17]the case of standards never compromise Dean is something you should never
[40:20]compromise in be in any aspect of life be it for a
[40:25]potential prospect for marriage or be it for someone that you're willing
[40:28]to get closer with business-wise familial you can entertain their world but
[40:34]there are certain exemptions that if a person does not fear God
[40:38]they're not going to fear viol violating God when it comes to
[40:42]you.
[40:42]If they disobey God, what?
[40:43]They're not going to disobey you.
[40:45]These are things you can't be naive to.
[40:47]Preferences you're entitled to have, but the priority goes to these conditions.
[40:52]And asoolah says, do you know who that criteria is faith and
[40:59]you can have, but if you don't have faith, it doesn't match.
[41:02]But you can have faith.
[41:06]Where's the they have to be symbiotic, brothers and sisters.
[41:08]say because of that she delayed it which was bizarre 28 what
[41:13]are you talking about that you hear about children getting married at
[41:15]that time period 6 years old 9 years old 10 years old
[41:17]you know 11 years old there was a famous story by the
[41:21]way where a young man I don't want to even call him
[41:26]a man a young boy got married at 10 in the period
[41:28]pre-Islam he had his child at 11 and then when he became
[41:35]21 years old his child became 11 and he had a child.
[41:42]He became a granddad at about 21 22 a grandpa and he's
[41:47]going to community college.
[41:48]That that was then you have an upright chase lady at her
[41:54]in her late 20s.
[41:56]It is a matter that is interesting in the school of we
[42:01]reject the historical analysis that she was in her late 40s or
[42:04]in her 40s.
[42:05]To us, by the way, it doesn't make a difference.
[42:07]Her status is her status.
[42:08]It doesn't affect us whether she's 40, whether she's 28.
[42:12]But we're more concerned for the truth.
[42:15]And historically speaking, it does not consist with the history that she
[42:20]would be 40.
[42:20]Because here are a few reasons why.
[42:21]In her life, Alam from the time she was born, you're we
[42:27]know for a fact 5007 578 of the common era of the
[42:35]current calendar.
[42:36]500 rather 568 of the common era.
[42:40]She is born 3 years before Allah 571 of the common era
[42:43]and we know exactly when she died.
[42:45]She died in those last three years of the Medkin period such
[42:51]that we mentioned last night it would be referred to as the
[42:54]year of grief of of the same year Abu Talib died.
[42:58]So we know these two numbers but there was an attempt especially
[43:01]by those who would concoct traditions to for them it would be
[43:08]belittling that is an elderly lady and so they would make her
[43:13]older for first of all it doesn't change a thing for us
[43:16]whether she's older whether she's not but we're more concerned for the
[43:20]truth.
[43:19]Furthermore she was not previously married brothers and sisters nothing in history
[43:24]has proven this.
[43:26]It's all speculation.
[43:25]She did not previously get married, nor did she get divorced from
[43:29]that marriage, nor did she have a pre-existing child from that marriage.
[43:32]And then she married Allah.
[43:36]But the disclaimer is this still does not change anything.
[43:38]Even if she was, what's so wrong about that?
[43:40]Even if she was, she moved on from a that doesn't change.
[43:45]But for us, we understand the intention behind many of these claims
[43:49]that there were certain partners of the holy prophet of Islam that
[43:54]sought to bring down the status of a khadijah and in their
[44:00]limited understanding.
[43:58]One way to do so is to adjust some of the societal
[44:06]expectations of what is beauty.
[44:08]Make her older, make her a divorce.
[44:10]Well, earth to you, a divorce is not someone who loses status
[44:13]in the eyes of God.
[44:15]So, what does that even mean?
[44:16]Someone who's older doesn't mean that they're less significant in the eyes
[44:20]of Allah.
[44:21]What why are you even attempting that for us?
[44:22]It's more about let's find the actual truth.
[44:25]And more consistent to the historical record was that she was 28
[44:29]while the prophet was 25.
[44:35]And she noticed that time moved on and that there was this
[44:40]individual outstanding in his character, impeccable in his remember it was about
[44:48]character, morale and ethics, never once known to cheese, never once known
[44:51]to steal, never once known to use profanity.
[44:54]That's his status.
[44:57]And so she consulted one of her closest friends.
[45:02]And this is a way that we now understand is an approved
[45:05]manner to go and inquire about others.
[45:07]That she asked her friend by the name of a nephisa.
[45:15]Nafisa understands that she has a a brother Mes who would go
[45:21]with the prophet during some of these caravan trades.
[45:26]And so see she said let me inquire from my brother how
[45:30]he is like because I don't see him but I know my
[45:35]brother does.
[45:36]Now do you see the barriers between andoolah people a friend and
[45:41]a brother not this directness that many people have unfortunately been desensitized
[45:47]to that the best way to go and understand from someone if
[45:50]it is appropriate if it is befitting if it's done with consent
[45:56]of families then there are ways to do that and halal but
[45:58]the majority of ways these are conducted are you're just sliding into
[46:03]DMs if you are personal messaging, direct messaging, the same and rules
[46:10]and and Jewish students apply like you would if you were talking
[46:14]to them in person.
[46:14]Don't send emojis that are and haram like you wouldn't say words
[46:19]that are and haram.
[46:18]Don't try to be flirtatious.
[46:22]That is haram.
[46:21]What if it doesn't go through and you flirted?
[46:24]What are you, Mr.
[46:24]Smooth?
[46:25]What are you doing?
[46:27]The the girls probably grossed out and weirded out, too.
[46:29]And sometimes, brothers and sisters, if you forget these messages, they stay
[46:34]that one day Allah is going to bless you inshallah with a
[46:38]potential prospect.
[46:37]What about these messages that pre-exist now?
[46:39]Do they come back to haunt you?
[46:40]They're going to come back to haunt you.
[46:42]I mean, take it easy, man.
[46:43]Social media people take screenshots.
[46:45]Don't send pictures.
[46:48]Don't entertain things.
[46:48]Don't talk.
[46:50]Don't I have to say it it's horrible.
[46:52]I've had a case where a brother came and he was paranoid
[46:54]saying I found the one but there's this haunting me saying you
[46:59]can't delete it no I can't what if I delete it that
[47:03]she has it and she's angry at me why is she angry
[47:04]at you because she found out I was learning about her while
[47:09]I was talking to her and I was I was looking at
[47:13]both my options whose fault is that I mean I can't save
[47:14]you here be honest be open there were mistakes that were made
[47:18]and just move on here but there are ways to do this
[47:20]one the best ways is this manner this protocol, this metric that
[47:27]you implore someone who has who cares about you that that someone
[47:32]implores their brother who's a friend of them.
[47:36]That is the mostal clean way ever whereby you're not directly getting
[47:41]involved lest you say something haram.
[47:44]We have a hadith.
[47:44]Whoever uses out of place language with the opposite gender.
[47:56]Allah will imprison them with every word.
[48:00]Sorry, y word.
[48:03]I wish it was word.
[48:02]With every letter f 1,000 years.
[48:08]So it's like, "Hey girl," and then H E Y.
[48:12]That's three.
[48:13]So that's 3,000 years.
[48:14]I'm doing the math here.
[48:18]Girl, he probably spelled it wrong.
[48:19]Gu L.
[48:21]So 1 2 3 4.
[48:21]So three plus four.
[48:24]That's seven.
[48:23]7,000 years.
[48:25]Enjoy it, mate.
[48:27]Hold on.
[48:26]Very nice.
[48:27]That good.
[48:28]Good on you, bro.
[48:28]It's like have some decency.
[48:32]Have some masculine prerogative.
[48:33]And I know I'm I'm I'm I'm bashing the boys here and
[48:36]the guys here.
[48:38]I'm not going to entertain what goes on in the sister world.
[48:40]I don't know.
[48:42]But I suppose we have equal fights as well.
[48:45]So what goes on here must go on here sometimes.
[48:49]But let's not judge.
[48:49]In this case, Islam has emphasized confidentiality, privacy.
[48:52]You're not a billboard and you have value.
[48:55]You have sanctity.
[48:57]You're not someone that just tries and goes and people can try
[48:59]on you and go.
[49:01]That doesn't work this way.
[49:02]The halal and most clean clear way is through mutual contacts who
[49:06]have your best interest in mind.
[49:08]They're not billboards.
[49:10]Al also one brother once told me he said I asked my
[49:12]aunt if you can keep an eye out there.
[49:14]She just texted the group chat with all the community members in
[49:19]it too and she put his image.
[49:21]It was a billboard advertisement 27 named this works this.
[49:25]Sometimes he doesn't send messages but he will remember you this and
[49:29]that that he's like I was embarrassed I was exposed.
[49:32]I'm like hey you first do your due diligence man okay you
[49:37]have to figure figure out the source that you go to.
[49:39]Some of the best source is uh a community member that you
[49:45]is known for known for contacts and network.
[49:48]These are things you can do as well to keep in mind.
[49:50]Family is also very good but you have to do your homework
[49:53]at the same time.
[49:53]You don't want to go down Ford Road and see a big
[49:57]billboard with your face on it and single if you're interested call.
[50:00]He really needs help or she really needs help.
[50:03]Or there are websites Musm I'm going too far into this muz
[50:06]match.
[50:07]I once saw a website called Shia match and there was a
[50:13]a brother showed me it was there was a section because it's
[50:16]all about who you are your profile.
[50:18]One of the sections said which med if this person follows.
[50:20]This person showed me he's like this individual says none like also
[50:24]there are their own mush head here all of a sudden.
[50:26]Yeah people the lengths people go is quite bizarre.
[50:30]It's easier than that.
[50:30]Don't go that far.
[50:32]Ask a member of the community who's known to maintain privacy for
[50:36]you that you can trust an upright figure this and that.
[50:41]You look at the model that she laid out asks her close
[50:44]friend who she knows is trustworthy who can ask her brother.
[50:48]So it's still within the control of communication who then says I
[50:54]suggest something go and dispatch another caravan.
[50:56]Even if you've heard things this is the other lesson it's interesting
[51:00]even she heard after all that she was informed she says let's
[51:03]still give it a shot in the sense of try one more
[51:07]attempt in figuring him out.
[51:08]How do you know if someone is who they claim to be?
[51:13]By traveling with them.
[51:14]Travel with someone brothers and sisters.
[51:16]their true color show.
[51:19]It's genuinely the best way to learn more about someone.
[51:22]You know why?
[51:24]Because when they get little sleep and they be get a bit
[51:27]fatigued and they become a bit stubborn and they lose patience, that
[51:30]character that was so calm and patient suddenly begins to crumble and
[51:36]they might snap one moment.
[51:37]Then do you want that?
[51:37]How would you discover that?
[51:41]I remember going to hydr 2019.
[51:43]We had to share a room and each room had three beds
[51:46]and so me and a brother and then we had a spare
[51:51]bed and we decided who could we let come with us.
[51:55]We want the quietest person.
[51:56]Not someone who is known to talk, not someone who's going to
[51:59]bother us.
[52:00]Yeah, find the quietest person.
[52:01]We found the quietest person in the hamlet in the group.
[52:05]This person never speaks a word.
[52:06]I don't even think he knows how to talk.
[52:08]But when you talk to him, you can barely hear him.
[52:12]He makes dua like this.
[52:12]That's how he talks.
[52:14]One day as we're sleeping, the room next door, the guy is
[52:21]smoking.
[52:19]The guy that we have that we brought, thinking he's the quietest,
[52:24]easygoing, not going to bother us is going to let us sleep,
[52:27]has a hate to cigarette smoke.
[52:29]And suddenly he gets up and he opens the door.
[52:32]And we're thinking he's going to go say, "Awan knocks on the
[52:36]door.
[52:36]Could you not smoke?
[52:37]We're next door.
[52:39]We can smell it." Suddenly, he screams.
[52:40]He begins to yell from the top of his lung, "How dare
[52:46]you smoke?
[52:47]We're next door.
[52:47]Don't you know I have a I guess allergy to smoke?
[52:51]We're in Mecca." And his veins are showing and he's fatigued and
[52:55]he's screaming.
[52:56]The guy comes out, "Who are you to yell at me?" And
[52:58]they're about to fight and the cabba is right there.
[52:59]We had to break it up.
[53:02]What's going on?
[53:01]And then after we calm things down, I looked at my friend.
[53:04]I thought you said you brought the quietest guy ever.
[53:06]He's like, "I didn't know he had the capability to scream." Subhan
[53:11]Allah.
[53:10]Very loud.
[53:11]What happened when you travel with them?
[53:14]When you learn imbal says this beautifully in cases where circumstances change,
[53:28]the true reality of men show.
[53:30]Change his zone.
[53:29]Test him a bit.
[53:31]Push him a bit.
[53:32]Then you'll see what he's really like.
[53:33]if he's still patient, if he's forbarent, that's going to be someone
[53:37]who's going to be tolerant of kids that will scream one day.
[53:42]Or a woman who's not going to snap when one day, for
[53:44]example, her husband comes home a bit late or suspicion happens, but
[53:50]it was just jumping to conclusions.
[53:51]Change the environment just a little bit because this is what you
[53:54]see is what you're used to seeing and what they're used to
[53:57]dealing with.
[53:58]They've truly ironed out and solidified their situation, changed that situation a
[54:04]bit.
[54:04]She says, "Let's send them on another caravan trip where they go
[54:07]to Sham.
[54:09]You may accompany him.
[54:10]See what he's like.
[54:11]Does he rob people?
[54:12]Does he cheat people?" We know he's called the truthful and am
[54:17]as well trustworthy.
[54:17]But just see him cuz this is where a true color shows
[54:23]after the month journey has passed.
[54:24]I say, "Look how long she's willing to wait too." Not, let's
[54:30]give it a month.
[54:31]I don't even care.
[54:31]There's a hikma that says if a person waits all their life,
[54:37]half their life for the potential prospect that they would not have
[54:41]wasted their time.
[54:41]You're talking about someone who's going to carry on your legacy and
[54:46]is going to change and raise your descendants.
[54:49]After the month passed, she inquired through her brother, what's the status
[54:56]update on this man?
[54:56]And he replied by saying, "Wallah, he shocked me." No man has
[55:05]ever done business the way he does.
[55:07]How?
[55:08]He says, "Most people, they scam a bit.
[55:12]They steal a bit.
[55:12]When they trade spices, they might add pebbles in the bottom of
[55:15]the bag to make the bag heavier." He double checks that container,
[55:23]making sure there was nothing.
[55:25]He once found a twig.
[55:25]He threw that out.
[55:28]He does not cheat for a little bit more money.
[55:32]And him, because he doesn't cheat, he somehow still gets more profit
[55:37]than the most than the majority of others.
[55:40]Him, while not cheating, still manages to get the most yield in
[55:44]the business transactions.
[55:44]You would think someone who's so truthful with the market and how
[55:48]it's played will get the market quality and the market return and
[55:54]yield on investment.
[55:53]He gets more than that.
[55:54]and he doesn't cheat.
[55:57]That was quite impressive.
[55:57]Furthermore, he has upright.
[56:00]He met with Christians and Jews and he treats them like he
[56:03]treats the others that were with him.
[56:05]There was another thing I noticed while others bowed down to Allah
[56:08]and the small idols they brought.
[56:11]He's out in the distance looking up in the sky.
[56:16]And when it was very sunny, oh, when it was very sunny
[56:19]and everyone had to shade themselves with like makeshift umbrellas, he didn't
[56:24]have any.
[56:26]Why is that?
[56:28]Because Allah as if would send a cloud over his head to
[56:31]shade him.
[56:33]It's like the universe loves him that he would go outside, no
[56:38]need to cover his own head.
[56:40]The clouds would formulate above him.
[56:42]Everyone loved him.
[56:42]He was so honest and truthful.
[56:45]Not only that, no one could take advantage of him.
[56:47]He knows business properly.
[56:50]When they would all marry make at night and drink, he's standing
[56:53]over there by himself alone thinking, reflecting.
[56:58]I have never seen a man like him before says then I
[57:01]am open to marrying him finally.
[57:02]Oh, go and tell your brother a proposal has happened.
[57:08]Typically, what you should you do?
[57:10]Go talk to your dad.
[57:11]her dad had passed away.
[57:11]She speaks to her uncle and her uncle the problem is Allah's
[57:17]dad is also not around.
[57:21]So he speaks to his dad archetype and you know who that
[57:27]is practically his father and they meet together and they instantly agree
[57:34]that this union should happen.
[57:36]Look at this foresight.
[57:39]Despite her being older by three years, despite her being the one
[57:43]that initiated the proposal, despite her being wealthy, the hadith says the
[57:48]response from the prophet said, "Me when I am a poor man
[57:51]and she is someone who is well off, why would I be
[57:55]of interest?" The response came back, "It's not because you're poor.
[57:58]It's because you're rich in the eye of allahel.
[58:01]You're rich in you're rich in demeanor.
[58:04]Who cares about wealth?" This is also a lesson for us today.
[58:07]Who cares about this?
[58:10]It's in's hands.
[58:10]Allah who gave you can take away your but the true is
[58:17]morality.
[58:18]That's valuable.
[58:17]How many couples would pay that the other partner has a bit
[58:23]more patience that's true wealth more foresight more sympathy more compassion more
[58:28]empathy more passion.
[58:30]These are invaluable.
[58:30]Who cares how much they have?
[58:31]I mean that's going to be torture in three years time when
[58:35]you buy all the purses when you buy all the G wagons
[58:36]when you buy all the houses when you buy all of this
[58:41]that dictator that in your house what about him could you buy
[58:47]for that person you can't and even then Allah will give because
[58:51]Allah does not let his chosen servants on this dunya doing his
[58:54]good work on this dunya suffer and if there is suffering it's
[58:59]for our own benefit because no pain no gain brothers and sisters
[59:02]And says, "It's not because you report.
[59:04]I don't look at what you have.
[59:06]I look at your relationship between you and Allah." And that was
[59:09]impeccable.
[59:10]They get together.
[59:14]Say's uncle Allah's Yes, you can say his father Abu Talib his
[59:18]uncle as well.
[59:21]And Abu Talib begins to preach.
[59:22]We skimmed through the of their wedding.
[59:25]Abu Talib said say the he tried to speak.
[59:28]He couldn't.
[59:30]The hadith said he had a state of awe.
[59:35]Interesting where the father potential father-in-law is in a state of awe.
[59:38]He couldn't talk.
[59:40]He was just he sees someone like and he sees someone like
[59:42]Allah and he knows the family they come from.
[59:44]He just was I guess insecure which is out of the ordinary
[59:47]in the state says I will speak and so she spoke on
[59:51]her own as you could say and she began to speak about
[59:57]the merits of her family his family and she spoke on her
[60:03]and not just that the mah of the relationship was on her.
[60:06]She paid for her own mah breaking social taboo one after the
[60:10]other like a domino effect.
[60:14]impeccable outstanding.
[60:14]Why?
[60:14]And then they made fun of the uncle of Khadijah.
[60:19]They said, "Your niece, we've never seen women pay for their own
[60:22]mahar." And he said, "But you've never seen a man like Muhammad
[60:25]sallallahu alaihi wasallam." >> Trust me, him it's worth all the treasures
[60:33]of this dunya.
[60:36]Brothers and sisters, tonight we honor her.
[60:39]We remember her sacrifices.
[60:40]The emphasis that she gave in the sake for the religion of
[60:44]Islam for its life.
[60:47]She was its lifeline.
[60:46]Say Khadijah was the best support to the prophet he could ever
[60:50]have besides Im Alib.
[60:53]And when he would feel low, do you know what she would
[60:58]do?
[60:55]She would recite poetry to him to uplift him.
[60:59]Some of the most beautiful poetry you've ever seen.
[61:03]A true relationship is like this.
[61:05]where one remembers the other in beautiful words and uplifts the other's
[61:09]mood despite the hurdles of society.
[61:13]The Bihar mentions one of her lines of poetry.
[61:20]If I had all the blessings on this earth and I had
[61:29]everything this earth had to offer and the kingdoms of all the
[61:32]Caesars, To me, none of that is worth the wing of a
[61:42]mosquito.
[61:45]If my eye was not looking at your eye, all of this
[61:49]is useless.
[61:50]Yahoo Allah, look at the deep love.
[61:52]Look at the affection.
[61:52]Look at the care.
[61:55]Look at listen to me.
[61:56]Riches, gold, this and that is not worth anything if it's not
[61:59]worth the time I spend with youallah.
[62:03]He would always come to her in times of distress when everyone
[62:07]abandoned him.
[62:06]She believed in him that such that one time he's on he's
[62:12]receiving revelations.
[62:12]She would go up the mountain and bring him food.
[62:16]Have you been to Mecca?
[62:20]You see when you go up it's literally a quad and calf
[62:22]workout up the mountain then all the way back down.
[62:28]She would go every day.
[62:28]He would spend two months out of the year up on that
[62:32]mountain every single year.
[62:33]When the revelation first came, he stopped.
[62:35]But he would go two months and shah Ramadan.
[62:39]When she would go every day to feed him, imagine she's carrying
[62:41]containers of food.
[62:44]A woman who's going up this mountain.
[62:46]I mean, look look at the emphasis.
[62:49]Look at the look at the dedication.
[62:50]And Allah is so pleased of that that she's taking care of
[62:54]her husband that Allah dispatches and Gibbra says and with her is
[63:10]a container of food and when she arrives then send your then
[63:19]send salams from her Lord Allah sendum to her and from me
[63:26]I send my salams to her as well and give her glad
[63:30]tidings.
[63:30]She's going to get a house in Jenna.
[63:32]When Khadijah came, he said to her, "Oh my beloved wife Khadijah,
[63:35]Allah send salams upon you." Send salams upon you and I say
[63:43]salam to you as well.
[63:44]Do you know what she said?
[63:45]It is the most wise response you'll ever hear.
[63:51]The most beautiful response you'll ever hear.
[63:54]You can't say to Allah.
[63:58]You're making dua that Allah is in peace.
[63:59]Allaham.
[63:59]So guess what she says indeed Allah is peace and upon is
[64:20]my salam because you can send to and upon you is my
[64:23]salam and the mercy of Allah and his baraka as well.
[64:27]She didn't saylayum ya Allah because that's not wise.
[64:29]How do we say?
[64:31]She knows the relationship.
[64:32]She knows.
[64:34]She knows theology.
[64:35]She knows intelligent, impeccable, wise, but also sacrificing.
[64:39]Had it not been for the wealth of Khadijah, Islam would have
[64:44]perished.
[64:43]Such that in those three arduous, tumultuous, difficult years of the of
[64:50]spent everything she can that such that she prioritized her own well-being.
[64:56]Whatever she had, she would give to him.
[64:58]She would feed him.
[65:01]She gave it all till you know how much money she had.
[65:06]We said it all became net negative.
[65:08]She would eat grass.
[65:09]And those final moments that pain and fatigue came on her.
[65:18]The embargo of was put on them.
[65:22]Three years suffering, hunger, thirst, abandonment.
[65:25]The women folk of society abandoned her camping in the valley of
[65:30]Abu Talib until the very last stretch.
[65:35]Sayam is about 6 years old.
[65:38]She's tending to her mother just after they got released.
[65:40]Remember on the pact that they made between Abu Dasool Allah and
[65:47]Qur if you all see that the letter has been eaten except
[65:50]the word of Allah you let us go.
[65:52]A month or so after that Khadijah is in her home as
[65:56]Zah is with her.
[65:59]She notices her mother hadn't recovered.
[66:01]Three years of starvation is not easy.
[66:04]Barely making it in the woods, in the cold as such, until
[66:06]she sees that her mom's time is becoming very difficult and heavy.
[66:13]And Khadijah notices that it's probably time to wish Allah goodbye.
[66:17]just says, "Go and inform your father that I want to ask
