[0:00]ethical mother [Music] [Music] um [Music] may Allah grant us all his

[0:42]life and this in the next life illuminate your hearts and magalies

[0:55]with a loud salawat for Muhammad respected brothers and sisters when Allah

[1:14]subhanahu wa ta'ala decided to manifest his highest level of his rahma

[1:23]of his Mercy he did so by sending Prophet Muhammad as a

[1:30]messenger Muhammad and thus the holy prophet was the walking manifestation of

[1:42]the mercy of Allah and Allah mentions this in the Holy Quran

[1:47]Allah says in the Holy Quran why did God decide to send

[1:57]Prophet Muhammad as a messenger Allah said I sent you as a

[2:02]mercy that's the reason why Allah sent our messenger he sends him

[2:05]as a mercy to humanity to all of humanity so this means

[2:11]that before the prophet there was Mercy other prophets also showed Mercy

[2:19]but the level of Mercy that was shown exhibited by rasulullah was

[2:24]never seen before how was Allah a mercy to humanity let's go

[2:29]back to the time of jaheliyah when rasulullah was sent to his

[2:35]people not only did he have to teach them to be merciful

[2:37]he had to reintroduce the concept of Mercy because what had happened

[2:45]in the jahiliyah was that people no longer saw Mercy as a

[2:48]virtue can you imagine a society that does not value Mercy that

[2:55]sees Mercy as a vice whoever is merciful that was considered and

[3:00]looked at as a weakness forgiving and showing Mercy was a weakness

[3:04]so only the weak would show Mercy if you want to be

[3:10]strong you want to show chivalry masculinity then you have to be

[3:15]fierce then you have to be cruel this was considered as a

[3:20]virtue in the jaheliyah and that's why the honorable individuals in the

[3:25]jahiliyah the exalted in their communities were the ones that had killed

[3:30]the most people they would brag about killing people I have killed

[3:34]700 people now I have killed 800 it was all a competition

[3:39]and how much blood they had shed because to them Mercy was

[3:43]not even a good thing and it's not just with Mercy you

[3:46]see with other ideas the people of jahili had completely lost their

[3:51]moral compass they no longer understood what was right and wrong and

[3:55]because of that you find some parents some fathers they would take

[4:00]their own daughters their own daughters one-year-old two-year-old five-year-old daughter and they

[4:07]would bury them alive they did not see this as a crime

[4:12]they did not see see this as a bad act in fact

[4:14]they saw this as an honorable virtuous act a good father is

[4:19]the one that is able to go and bury his daughter that

[4:21]was doing the right thing in the jahiliyah it was difficult for

[4:27]the father because this is natural that a father loves his daughter

[4:30]but he had to do the right thing even if it was

[4:31]difficult take your own daughter some fathers they would be crying shedding

[4:36]their Tears while they were burying their daughters but to show their

[4:41]masculinity to be righteous to show that chivalry they had to do

[4:48]it because the the girl that daughter was a source of stigma

[4:52]for the father and the family they had to get rid of

[4:54]that stigma so to them to be a neighbor a noble individual

[4:59]meant that you bury your own daughter because Mercy was not seen

[5:03]as a virtue it was seen as a weakness sometimes we hear

[5:07]some stories about rasulullah tried to instill Mercy to us now it

[5:13]sounds very cliche there's nothing you know special about it for example

[5:19]we hear that rasulullah would always play with Imam Hassan and Hussein

[5:23]right when they were young he would kiss them he would carry

[5:27]them right now when you hear these stories big deal so what

[5:30]this is normal a grandfather kissing his grandchildren right today it's normal

[5:35]during the jahalia that was abnormal one day a man came to

[5:41]rasulullah his name was playing and kissing was young he was shocked

[5:48]rasulullah a dignified man is kissing a child this is showing emotions

[5:53]right you're showing emotions Mercy this is a weakness some you know

[5:58]people would be embarrassed of doing that in front of others in

[6:01]the community so that man was saying you're kissing your grandson in

[6:05]front of the people it says if the prophet was doing something

[6:09]bad you know this is I don't do it and then this

[6:14]man said ya rasulullah I have ten kids and I have never

[6:20]kissed any one of them and he said it in a bragging

[6:22]way he was boasting about it can you imagine someone wants to

[6:27]brag about his relationship with his kids he says 10 kids I

[6:30]never kissed any one of them and he's bragging about it this

[6:34]was how the people of jahaliah the Prophet replied to him he

[6:37]told them if you do not show Mercy how do you expect

[6:40]Allah to show your mercy if you don't show Mercy to your

[6:43]kids then how do you want Allah to show you Mercy they

[6:45]say one day the prophet was speaking about Paradise he was speaking

[6:49]about the pleasures of paradise in paradise there are rivers of milk

[6:57]and honey and wine there are trees there are this Mansions palaces

[7:01]all of the pleasures of paradise someone from those Arabs of the

[7:09]Bedouins he interrupted the prophet he said Allah when will you get

[7:12]to the part about fighting in Paradise the prophet said what are

[7:17]you talking about there is no fighting in Paradise Paradise is it's

[7:21]a place of peace there's no fighting in Paradise he said you

[7:26]mean there are no swords there's no combat there's no fighting there's

[7:29]no Bloodshed in Paradise the prophet said of course not he said

[7:32]I don't want this paradise what is this this is the type

[7:37]of community and Society the prophet was sent to they had no

[7:41]mercy towards their own family members their kids let alone their enemies

[7:47]you can imagine what they would do with their enemies if they

[7:52]buried their daughters alive if they did not kiss their own children

[7:55]rasulullah was sent to such a people who were completely lost morally

[8:00]they didn't know what was right and wrong and by the way

[8:03]don't think that after 1400 years it's too much better now once

[8:09]again we are regressing and going back to another today 2022 we

[8:12]are in a new jaheliyah because once again we find that the

[8:20]moral compass of many individuals especially in the west is being completely

[8:26]lost many of the good virtues are looked down upon today they're

[8:30]seen as vices and some of the vices they're seen as good

[8:33]let me give you some examples a couple of years ago I

[8:37]read online in the news in France a girl is called out

[8:44]of her class one day the teacher kicks her out of class

[8:46]why because of her because she was wearing a dress now what

[8:54]was the problem with the dress you would imagine that the dress

[9:00]was too short right so it is for example a modest for

[9:03]her to come to school a public school in France wearing this

[9:07]short dress but to your surprise brothers and sisters the reason why

[9:13]she was kicked out of the class because her skirt was too

[9:16]long this is a violation of the dress code can you believe

[9:21]that and she was shamed your skirt your dress is too long

[9:25]you have to shorten it so modesty right now is no longer

[9:31]thou has no value anymore in the West for a woman to

[9:33]be modest to cover up her body this is look down upon

[9:37]someone that comes covered this is looked down upon and someone who

[9:42]comes half naked yes this is this is the good citizen so

[9:47]once again this is another example recently I read about a case

[9:51]that happened in Canada in British Columbia a father has a son

[9:57]you can Google the whole story the father's name is Robert hugland

[10:02]Hoogland this father has a 14 year old girl that goes to

[10:07]high school I think ninth grade he notices that his daughter wants

[10:12]to change her gender she no longer feels like a girl she

[10:18]feels like a boy so she changes her name and she wants

[10:23]to be called with male pronouns he him the father was completely

[10:31]against it the father continued to call her she and continue to

[10:36]call her call her by her name by her female name the

[10:41]school got involved and they started to threaten the father that if

[10:47]you do not consider your child as a girl then we will

[10:51]file the lawsuit against you she's a girl she's a boy if

[10:57]you don't consider her as a boy if you stop if you

[11:01]continue calling her using female pronouns you're going to get in trouble

[11:05]he says the entire School ganged up against him so that his

[11:08]daughter who was going through gender dysphoria as they call it now

[11:12]all these terms that the shaytan is teaching us right he says

[11:18]the entire school was against me and in the end they took

[11:22]me to court and he says even the court cited against me

[11:24]the courts went against me and they Banned Me from calling my

[11:31]daughter using female pronouns until he was finally arrested brothers and sisters

[11:37]and jailed why because he called her his own daughter she and

[11:41]her do you see what's happening in our country do you see

[11:45]what's happening in the west brothers and sisters someone that tries to

[11:49]be moral that tries to raise a family the correct way this

[11:51]person is shamed this person is stigmatized this person is penalized this

[11:56]is exactly what was happening in the jaliyah you want it to

[12:01]be merciful you would be looked down upon you would be stigmatized

[12:04]and shamed and this is happening once again today and that's why

[12:08]we are going through another jahiliyah we have to be very very

[12:11]cautious what what they teach our kids in school the brainwashing that

[12:18]our kids are facing in public schools brothers and sisters we have

[12:22]to be alert we have to be aware or else we will

[12:24]lose our children so anyway rasulullah was sent to a society that

[12:31]did not understand what Mercy was they did not value Mercy it

[12:34]was not a virtue so not only did he have to teach

[12:38]them to be merciful he had to convince them that Mercy is

[12:43]a good thing so you find rasulullah began with his own family

[12:46]he showed so much respect to his daughter which was abnormal when

[12:52]she would enter the modulus he would rise and stand kiss her

[12:56]respect her because back then father would not do that would not

[13:05]show emotions publicly he would kiss Hussain he showed Mercy towards his

[13:10]companions towards his friends he was the most merciful individual the Holy

[13:14]Quran says rasulullah is one of you he loves you he cares

[13:26]for you and he is merciful and compassionate with the Believers and

[13:32]not just with the Believers even with his own enemies rasulullah was

[13:37]merciful when rasulullah conquered Makkah he took all of his enemies he

[13:43]put them in a court he put them he gathered them all

[13:44]in one place and then he told them you bothered me so

[13:48]much you waged Wars against me now I will forgive you he

[13:51]told them three words you're free you can go they had never

[13:56]seen such signs such love such Mercy from any human being because

[14:03]remember Mercy was never a good thing to begin with Allah was

[14:08]a source of Mercy to everyone around him and he was able

[14:14]to reinstill this as a value and the hearts of the people

[14:19]but the Holy Quran brothers and sisters tells us this that the

[14:29]prophet was sent as a mercy to all Humanity to everyone so

[14:35]the people that lived during the time of rasulullah it's obvious how

[14:41]they benefited from his Mercy but what about us today how do

[14:46]we benefit from the mercy of rasulullah the Quran says we say

[14:49]rasulullah as a mercy to Allah mean all people doesn't matter what

[14:57]day and age even a thousand years after rasulullah even two thousand

[15:02]years rasulullah is still a source of Mercy but how do we

[15:04]know if someone was to ask me how does rasulullah serve as

[15:12]a mercy for me today in 2022 how would I reply and

[15:18]this is what I want to speak about tonight I want to

[15:20]shed some light on how we brothers and sisters today we continue

[15:27]to benefit from the mercy of rasool Allah in countless ways ways

[15:31]that we are not aware of and I will mention three ways

[15:34]that we benefit from his Mercy today number one we benefit from

[15:42]the esterfar of rasulullah what do I mean if you read the

[15:46]Holy Quran you will find a general theme when Allah used to

[15:50]send a prophet to the people to warn them to be good

[15:55]to follow Allah follow the messenger when they would disbelieve and misbehave

[15:58]what would happen what would happen usually God would punish those people

[16:04]God would send down his wrath and Destroy some tribes read the

[16:10]story of prophet tuluth and his tribe the tribe of Sodom and

[16:13]you know the story of Sodom and Gamora what did Allah do

[16:19]to them the Quran tells us when they disbelieved in the prophet

[16:22]and they kept on sinning and transgressing the Haram act Allah punished

[16:30]them in this life Allah destroyed that town he sent down rain

[16:35]but what type of rain it was raining bricks it was raining

[16:43]Stone people would would see huge pieces of stone kind of like

[16:47]hell but much worse and then there was the a loud cry

[16:52]that some people died just from listening to that cry and then

[16:55]finally a huge earthquake that killed everybody why because people did not

[17:01]listen to the messenger so Allah was very strict you listen to

[17:05]My Messenger I give you Paradise you're successful you don't not only

[17:09]is there hell leave hell I will punish you in this life

[17:14]and then other times Allah would punish some people in a less

[17:18]severe Way for their sins let me give you two examples let's

[17:21]go to the Jews when the Jews were transgress when they would

[17:27]defy the orders of Musa for example or any of their Prophets

[17:34]You Know Allah azzawajal would punish them two ways the first way

[17:38]that the Quran indicates how Allah azzawajal would punish some Jews if

[17:42]they defied the orders of their prophet was that Allah would ban

[17:50]certain Halal act and make it haram what do I mean let

[17:54]me read you a verse Allah says in the Holy Quran had

[18:01]him the Holy Quran says that because the people the Jews because

[18:19]they transgressed they sinned and they went against some of the laws

[18:23]of Allah Allah all the sudden made some Halal things halam for

[18:31]them so you wake up one day all of a sudden an

[18:35]entire category of food is Haram starting from today you ask why

[18:39]because you've been sinning too much imagine we wake up one day

[18:43]and we receive Revelation that chicken is no longer Halal all forms

[18:47]of chicken why because we've been sinning too much can you imagine

[18:51]what would happen to us and then the next week we'd wake

[18:55]up again you guys are still sinning now beef is Haram this

[18:57]was the way Allah punished the Jews the Quran says this so

[19:01]Allah would make some of the Halal acts some of the Halal

[19:06]foods why to punish them for their deeds can you imagine if

[19:09]that happened to us I remember once I was at a brother's

[19:14]house they brought a type of donuts from a store I won't

[19:15]mention which store and I had read before that these Donuts are

[19:20]Haram because they contain alcohol so I told that individual that be

[19:26]careful that this donut is from this store has alcohol do you

[19:31]know what happened to this person it's as if I told him

[19:33]your father has died are you serious no way and then you

[19:39]know what he told me why did you tell me why didn't

[19:43]you leave me in ignorance so that I can enjoy my Donuts

[19:45]he was about to have a heart attack because a specific type

[19:49]of donut I didn't tell him all Donuts only from this store

[19:53]is how long and every time I see this brother he reminds

[19:56]me you ruined my life say it because I can't eat from

[19:59]those donuts anymore from after that I stopped telling people you know

[20:03]that this donut is held on because I realize how much people

[20:09]love it imagine if an entire category of of a food you

[20:11]wake up it's Haram because we've been sinning too much this is

[20:16]how Allah was with the Jews he was strict very strict with

[20:18]them was it lenient this is one example in the Quran let

[20:23]me give you another example Allah says in the whole in the

[20:27]Holy Quran foreign Allah says and you know what happened to the

[20:34]people of the Sabbath the Saturday what's the story of the people

[20:39]of the sept Allah azzawajal told the Jews that you're not allowed

[20:42]to go fishing on Saturday any other day during the week you

[20:46]can fish the problem was they come on Saturday they see the

[20:53]rivers or the pools and the wherever the Seas filled with fish

[20:58]filled with fish but they can't fish on Saturday it's Haram so

[21:02]they wait until Sunday they come Sunday they say there's no fish

[21:05]Monday There's no fish Tuesday there's no fish until Friday when did

[21:11]the fish show up only on Saturday but what's the problem you're

[21:13]not allowed to fish Allah was testing them the fish is there

[21:18]you can easily catch it it's like a form of fasting right

[21:20]when we fast the food is there but you can't eat it

[21:24]so Allah tested them through this obligation now what did the Jews

[21:28]end up doing they tried to find a loophole now sometimes we

[21:31]try to find loopholes through our taxes and whatnot so what did

[21:37]they do on Friday they set a trap for the fish so

[21:39]that when they enter on Friday on Friday they put a trap

[21:45]so that when they enter on Saturday they'll be stuck the fish

[21:48]will be trapped and then they can go fishing on Sunday sounds

[21:53]very clever right no because you're playing games with Allah now so

[21:57]they technically put it on Friday they didn't do anything on Saturday

[22:02]but the fish was trapped on Saturday and then they would go

[22:04]collect it and hunted on Sunday Allah azzawaja through his Messengers warned

[22:08]them this is don't do it you're playing games with me they

[22:12]said no how did Allah retaliate against those individuals continue with the

[22:18]verse in the Holy Quran Allah says Allah transformed those Sinners into

[22:30]monkeys this is the Quran all of a sudden Allah turned them

[22:38]into monkeys and everyone knew that this person had turned into a

[22:43]monkey Allah exposed them that was the biggest stigma for them that

[22:47]they would walk in the streets as monkeys why because they defied

[22:51]the orders of Allah so Allah was playing no games with anyone

[22:56]during the time of the Jews if you don't abide by my

[23:00]rules and laws there will be a penalty that you will pay

[23:02]in this life this is with the Jews Allah was very strict

[23:07]you defy his laws he punishes you something Halal makes a Haram

[23:11]he turns some of the Sinners into monkeys let's come to the

[23:16]Christians we also have a similar incident Allah tells us in the

[23:21]Holy Quran the prophet Jesus made what did Jesus says Jesus I

[23:41]ask you to bring down a meal a Heavenly meal from Paradise

[23:47]so that first of all it could be a celebration for us

[23:53]we can celebrate this meal we can have a festivity and second

[23:56]of all it could be a sign to everyone that I am

[24:01]a messenger because this is a miracle if you see a meal

[24:02]coming down from the skies you should believe in ASA this is

[24:09]a miracle Jesus made that Dua the next verse Allah says that

[24:12]Allah answered the Dua of Jesus but with a disclaimer with a

[24:16]warning the next verse says I will bring down that meal and

[24:26]I will show the people the miracle but then Allah warning family

[24:32][Music] but if someone from the people of Asa sees the miracle

[24:42]and still disbelieves then I will punish him in a way that

[24:46]I have not punished anyone a unique punishment so Allah is not

[24:50]talking about the fires of Hell something different when the meal came

[24:56]down some people disbelieved they saw the miracle and they still said

[25:00]no they still defied Allah and his messenger how did Allah retaliate

[25:04]against those individuals the imams of tell us what happened Allah azzawajal

[25:09]turned those individuals into what into pigs Allah turned them into pigs

[25:17]because they what they went against the words of the messenger of

[25:20]Allah and that's why there's a verse in the Holy Quran where

[25:22]Allah says that some of them Allah turned into monkeys others Allah

[25:28]turned into pigs this was many Israel the Jews and the Christians

[25:31]so we noticed this theme throughout the Quran that when people would

[25:36]defy Allah and disobey him he would punish them in this life

[25:41]but all of a sudden rasulullah our Prophet is sent he is

[25:46]sent with the final Message of Islam to his people he begins

[25:52]to show them Miracles he begins to invite them to Islam to

[25:58]the belief in one Allah many people disobeyed many people defied rasulullah

[26:02]many people fought rasulullah but yet we don't find any incident of

[26:10]divine punishment why why did the law of Allah suddenly change do

[26:15]you think it's because the people who are good the tribe of

[26:21]rasulullah was good no way they bothered and oppressed rasulullah so much

[26:25]such that the prophet said he said no Prophet was bothered and

[26:31]oppressed like me rasulullah from day one when he announced that he's

[26:38]a messenger they attacked him in every way they attacked his character

[26:43]they attacked his Integrity they physically attacked him they waged Wars against

[26:48]him they even called for an embargo they placed an embargo sanctions

[26:53]against him for three years the prophet went through starvation from his

[27:00]own people the people of Christ the people of Makkah they killed

[27:04]his uncle Hamza they forced him to flee to leave Mecca and

[27:11]go to Medina why did Allah azzawajal not punish them do you

[27:16]know why brothers and sisters because rasulullah was sent as a mercy

[27:21]to humanity every time Allah would ask him do you want me

[27:27]to destroy these enemies for what they did every time an angel

[27:29]would come to rasulullah should we topple the mountains of Mecca on

[27:35]these pagans on these enemies the prophet would always say no I

[27:39]was not sent as a curse I was sent as a mercy

[27:47]so rasulullah was unique and that he was the only messenger of

[27:51]Allah that despite all the Disobedience despite all of the crimes that

[27:57]were committed against him his enemies were never punished by Allah azzawajal

[28:01]through a Divine punishment even after many people became Muslims some of

[28:09]the sahaba of rasulullah sometimes they would defile rasulullah did Allah makes

[28:14]her and Halal upon them never why is that it's all because

[28:21]of rasulullah and Allah tells us in the Holy Quran Allah says

[28:29]Allah would never punish the people even if they're evil people as

[28:35]long as you Muhammad are alive so the mere existence of prophet

[28:38]Muhammad was a source of mercy upon everyone during this time even

[28:43]the enemies the reason why Allah spared them and didn't punish them

[28:48]and this Dunya was because of the existence of Muhammad what about

[28:58]after Prophet Muhammad after a prophet Muhammad died we find that the

[29:06]mercy of Allah continued Allah did not start punishing people for their

[29:11]sins why is that the Quran continues the Quran says the second

[29:27]reason why Allah would not punish people for their sins was because

[29:30]of esterfar because of people doing asking Allah for forgiveness now I

[29:40]ask you from the time rasulullah died until now how much sins

[29:45]were committed brothers and sisters how many crimes were committed after rasulullah

[29:49]died were people doing we find most people all of a sudden

[29:52]became Noble they became virtuous and they would constantly do it they

[29:59]would constantly repent and ask Allah for forgiveness is that why we

[30:03]find the Divine punishment of Allah still did not come down upon

[30:09]the inhabitants of Earth obviously not look at what the people did

[30:13]after rasulullah died the prophet was being buried and there was what

[30:17]and there was a plan to overthrow Imam Ali alaihissalam there was

[30:23]a plan to go against the teachings of rasulullah every Imam was

[30:27]killed look at what they did in karbala look at what they

[30:31]did to every single Imam so why all of a sudden Allah

[30:33]has lenience are they doing there is a Hadith in which rasool

[30:41]Allah explains and shows us that till this very day brothers and

[30:45]sisters the reason why Allah doesn't punish us for our sins we're

[30:49]all sinners for our sins in this life and he doesn't retaliate

[30:53]just like he would do with the Jews and Christians he doesn't

[30:57]turn us and transform us into animals is because of rasulullah how

[31:04]the prophet one day told his companions he told them [Music] he

[31:11]says Muhammad the prophet says that in my life there is rahma

[31:18]for you and even after I die I am still a source

[31:22]of Mercy for you so the companions asked him when you're alive

[31:25]we understand as long as you're alive Allah won't punish anyone what

[31:28]about after you what is how are you a source of Mercy

[31:33]for people Generations that come after you Allah says as long as

[31:40]you're alive there's no punishment but what about after you the prophet

[31:44]read the continuation of the verse where Allah says as long as

[31:52]the people do is not punish them do the people do in

[31:57]general no this is where rasulullah comes into play The Prophet told

[32:01]his companions that your after I die will be shown to me

[32:07]every week brothers and sisters our Amal our sins are shown to

[32:11]rasool Allah the prophet is the one that is constantly doing for

[32:20]us every single day when we forget to do as the father

[32:26]when we are so distracted by the Dunya and we are so

[32:28]distracted and busy with our life and our Dunya and our work

[32:32]and our wealth and our school who is doing this for us

[32:39]brothers and sisters constantly doing this for you and I he loves

[32:42]you more than you love your own self he cares about you

[32:46]more than you care about yourself many of us a month will

[32:49]pass by we don't say for Allah even once but yet we

[32:54]find no punishment why because we have a messenger a loving merciful

[32:58]messenger rasulullah who is doing this for us a source of Mercy

[33:04]for us today brothers and sisters do we not have to thank

[33:07]Allah that he gave us such a beautiful messenger that he continues

[33:12]to do his father for us even when we fail even when

[33:15]we forget to do so the first way that rasulullah is a

[33:20]source of Mercy for every single one of you here 1400 years

[33:23]after rasulullah died is that it is the prophet that does for

[33:30]you every single week and because of this he does not send

[33:37]his wrath upon us even if we commit the biggest of sins

[33:42]this is number one number two the second way rasulullah is a

[33:46]source of Mercy for us today is you see brothers and sisters

[33:55]the first way which we called rasulullah only grants us protection from

[34:00]the punishment of Allah in the Dunya but on the day of

[34:05]judgment we will still have to what we will still be held

[34:07]accountable for our sins no more punishment this was because of rasulullah

[34:13]what about the day of judgment if I committed a sin and

[34:19]I want protection from my sins on the day of judgment what

[34:25]do I do brothers and sisters now obviously you will say repentance

[34:30]if you repent to Allah Allah will forgive you but how do

[34:34]we repent to Allah and how do we ensure and guarantee that

[34:39]Allah will forgive us one of the best ways and the easiest

[34:41]ways for Allah to forgive your sins so that on the day

[34:47]of judgment Allah does not hold you accountable for your sins it's

[34:51]through doing Muhammad and this is where Allah introduced the idea that

[35:02]if you want to repent after rasulullah has sensed there's an easy

[35:06]way go to rasulullah he will do is for you you don't

[35:10]find this about any prophet let me give you an example Prophet

[35:15]Musa he went to the mountain to do to Allah correct how

[35:21]many days he told his people Allah has promised me 30 days

[35:28]I will go to the mountain do prayers and I will come

[35:32]back after 30 days meanwhile my successor is Haroon listen to harun

[35:37]Once Musa went to the mountain Allah in the End changed the

[35:43]plan instead of 30 he added 10 days so it became 40.

[35:52]Allah made it into 40 days so the people of they had

[35:59]heard Musa promised 30 days day 30 comes Musa doesn't show up

[36:05]day 31 comes he doesn't show up day 32 comes he doesn't

[36:06]show up what do people start doing they start disbelieving in Allah

[36:12]after everything Allah did for them he saved them from Allah split

[36:16]the ocean and he saved them from his tyranny and oppression they

[36:20]found a calf and it wasn't a real calf it was a

[36:25]calf that was made from jewelry from gold they started worshiping that

[36:29]calf and they forgot about Allah Musa comes back and he sees

[36:33]that his people just because he was late 10 days they had

[36:38]forgotten Allah and now they were worshiping this calf the people of

[36:43]Beni Israel wanted to repent they felt bad how did they repent

[36:48]Musa taught them how to repent you think it was easy for

[36:53]them to repent their repentance was a very difficult repentance put yourself

[36:57]in the shoes of many Israel they asked Musa how should we

[36:59]repent you know what Musa told them he told them Allah will

[37:03]forgive you but you have to do something very big very difficult

[37:06]the Quran says all people of mine you have committed a great

[37:20]Act of Oppression toward yourself because your nafs deserves better than to

[37:25]worship a calf it deserves worshiping Allah so you have committed a

[37:30]huge sin by worshiping this calf and then Musa told them you

[37:36]can repent to Allah how do they repent to Allah kill yourselves

[37:44]this is the Quran if this was in the Hadith people would

[37:48]say no we're not accepting this Hadith this is in the Quran

[37:50]Musa tells the people of many Israel if you want Allah to

[37:57]forgive you for that sin of worshiping the calf you have to

[37:59]kill each other Traditions tell us Musa took his people and he

[38:03]made them into two groups as if there are enemies fighting he

[38:07]gave them all swords and he told them just fight until everyone

[38:10]is dead if you do that Allah will forgive you he'll send

[38:13]you to Paradise yes your Dunya will be over but at least

[38:18]you will secure your and this is what happened you see how

[38:21]difficult Toba was when you made such a big mistake and you

[38:26]wanted to repent Allah would forgive you but why there was very

[38:30]difficult conditions when did that change that change with Prophet Muhammad sallallahu

[38:36]alaihi wasallam the Holy Quran tells the sahaba of rasulullah that when

[38:41]you disobey rasulullah when you defy his orders you don't have to

[38:44]kill yourself you don't have to kill anyone the Holy Quran clearly

[38:47]says in a beautiful verse the people of Beni Israel did themselves

[38:55]they had to kill themselves in order to reap the Forgiveness of

[39:01]Allah but the people of prophets Muhammad Allah tells them in the

[39:04]Holy Quran all they have to do is they would find Allah

[39:24]being merciful all you would have to do if you committed the

[39:27]greatest crime during the time of rasulullah just go to rasulullah for

[39:35]me do it for me the prophet says okay you see how

[39:37]forgiveness and and repentance became so easy why because of rasulullah because

[39:43]of God's love for rasulullah he decided to make life easier for

[39:50]us repentance became so much easier for us until this day brothers

[39:52]and sisters if I have committed any sins if I have been

[39:59]far from Allah negligent I miss my Salah I disrespectful with my

[40:02]parents I backbite I look at Haram things I eat or drink

[40:04]Haram I engage in any actor that is Haram remember brothers and

[40:11]sisters that the easiest way for you to reap the Forgiveness of

[40:15]Allah the easiest way for you to repent is through rasool Allah

[40:23]because even if you do not deserve being forgiven once you go

[40:31]through rasulullah Allah will honor your request because of rasulullah you know

[40:35]there's a Hadith about this that's man narrates Salman says I heard

[40:40]rasulullah say a Hadith from Allah it's called the Hadith Divine Hadith

[40:44]where Allah one day says all people isn't it that when someone

[40:50]wants something from you and you don't want to give that thing

[40:53]to that person but they go to you they come to you

[40:57]through someone that you love you will grant that thing not because

[41:00]you love that person but because the intermediary is somewhat important let

[41:03]me give an example let's say someone wants something from me wants

[41:08]to borrow money money from me I don't know that person too

[41:12]well so I may reject him but let's say someone calls my

[41:15]father and he tells my father please tell your son say let

[41:19]him give me a thousand dollars can I say no now I

[41:22]can't say no why because if I say no I'd be saying

[41:26]no to my father this is the whole concept of what tawasun

[41:30]if you go directly to Allah maybe Allah will tell you no

[41:34]because you've committed so much sins because your Dua may not even

[41:37]reach Allah so Allah says I work in the same way when

[41:45]you have committed too many sins and you want my forgiveness you

[41:52]want the guaranteed forgiveness from Allah Allah tells us that come to

[41:56]through the people that I love the most and they are Muhammad

[42:00]and Ali and father and Hassan and Hussein because even if you

[42:04]do not deserve my forgiveness but I can never say no to

[42:06]Muhammad Muhammad if I tell rasulullah Allah I've lived a life that

[42:19]I was so far from you Allah I want you to help

[42:24]me I want you to go to Allah and I want you

[42:27]to ask Allah to forgive me Allah will never say no to

[42:32]Prophet Muhammad he may say no to me but he will never

[42:33]say no to Prophet Muhammad so was a beautiful Mercy that Allah

[42:40]taught us brothers and sisters through Muhammad Muhammad and this is something

[42:45]that we should not take for granted any time you had any

[42:47]sin or any hajja anyone should make sure you go through that's

[42:52]why we beautifully recite every Tuesday when do we want Allah to

[43:00]forgive us what do we say we say yes raise your hands

[43:07]brothers and sisters and supplicate to Allah through his messenger yes we

[43:21]take you as our Wasilla to Allah azzawajal we ask you to

[43:27]intervene and intercede on our behalf and then we say and Allah

[43:34]is that means you have a lofty position in the eyes of

[43:43]Allah Allah will never say no to you is ask Allah to

[43:49]forgive us Allah will never tell you no wallahi God will never

[43:52]reject you if you go through rasulullah so the second way that

[43:55]rasulullah is still a form of Mercy for us today 1400 years

[44:01]after he has died is that we have access to the tawasal

[44:07]of rasulullah that forgiveness of Allah has made easy through the door

[44:10]of rasulullah so number one we said is all the time thus

[44:17]we find the protection in this Dunya number two on the day

[44:22]of judgment if I want Allah to forgive me the easiest way

[44:25]is to repent to Allah through the holy messenger because Allah never

[44:29]declined the prophet and number three brothers and sisters one of the

[44:33]greatest ways that rasulullah is a source of Mercy for every single

[44:40]one of you is the shafa of rasulullah on the day of

[44:44]judgment on the day of judgment every single one of us will

[44:48]need the shafa of rasulullah intercession why because the day of judgment

[44:52]is the day of desperation brothers and sisters the Quran gives us

[44:57]some pictures some glimpses of what will happen on the day of

[45:03]judgment when we are in despair when we see our sins are

[45:05]so much and they are outweighing our Good Deeds we will start

[45:12]to panic we will become desperate the Quran says the Quran says

[45:27]on the day of judgment you'll see be so desperate that you

[45:32]will ask Allah to take your children just take them kill them

[45:36]put them in hell just save me that's how desperate we become

[45:39]our kids that we love so much in this life that we

[45:44]are willing to sacrifice for them in this life on the day

[45:47]of judgment the Sinners Allah says they will want to sacrifice their

[45:53]own children just so they are saved from the punishment of Allah

[45:56]because they find they find themselves that they don't have enough Good

[46:00]Deeds so they will tell Allah take my kids take my spouse

[46:05]take my wife take my brother take the whole world just save

[46:08]me why do we say that because desperation does this to us

[46:13]it's a day that we need any help we can find brothers

[46:15]and sisters another verse Allah gives us another picture the Quran says

[46:24]um [Music] Allah says in the Holy Quran on the day of

[46:38]judgment we will run away from our own family members even your

[46:41]parents your father will come to you we'll tell you my dear

[46:44]son I raise you I spent so much on you I paid

[46:47]for your college tuition I bought you an expensive car I gave

[46:52]you a credit card and you can spend whatever you want okay

[46:54]what do you want now dad just give me 20 Good Deeds

[46:58]because I need just 20 Deeds so that I can tip the

[47:03]balance so that I can tip the scale because I I am

[47:04]sure just of 20 Deeds you know what the Quran says the

[47:09]Quran says you will run away from your own parents you will

[47:15]tell your father get away from me I want someone to give

[47:19]me his Good Deeds now you want me to give me my

[47:22]good deeds to you no way you run away from your father

[47:26]you run away from your own mother the Quran says your mother

[47:28]will come to you my dear son my dear daughter I raised

[47:32]you nine months you were in my stomach I raised you I

[47:34]fed you I took care of you please just help me donate

[47:37]some of your good deeds for me the Quran says you will

[47:39]run away from your mother from your father from your siblings from

[47:45]everyone because everyone is thinking about themselves on the day of judgment

[47:48]because if you donate your own good deeds and then you end

[47:52]up going to hell what's the point of that right everyone is

[47:54]greedy for their own Good Deeds we need them on the day

[47:59]of judgment so everyone will be thinking about themselves and this is

[48:03]a Hadith that the prophet himself says he says that told me

[48:06]on the day of judgment every human being will tell Allah me

[48:13]me we will all become selfish even the most selfless human beings

[48:18]on the day of judgment they become selfish because they want Paradise

[48:22]not just Paradise they want the highest levels you're just concerned about

[48:27]yourself and your faith so tells the prophet on the day of

[48:30]judgment everyone will be thinking about themselves except Allah you will be

[48:38]telling Allah Allah forgive my ummah forgive my ummah he and his

[48:43]household are the only individuals that will not be selfish on that

[48:46]day they will be thinking about you they will be asking begging

[48:51]Allah to forgive every single one of us and this is the

[48:56]shafa that Allah has given to rasulullah because Allah says in the

[49:01]Holy Quran he tells the holy prophets Allah tells the prophet that

[49:12]of the night so that Allah will give you Mahmoud is a

[49:16]position on the day of judgment that only rasulullah has what is

[49:22]that brothers and sisters according to Allah will give him the power

[49:30]of meaning he can intercede he can ask Allah to forgive our

[49:32]sins and the prophet will not forget us on the day of

[49:37]judgment wallahi he will be there for every single one of us

[49:40]asking Allah please forgive him please forgive my followers please forgive my

[49:44]nation please forgive my ummah there's a Hadith that is narrated from

[49:48]he as the narrator what is the verse in the Quran that

[49:55]gives us the most hope the most hopeful verse in the Quran

[50:01]so the Imam asked him what do people say meaning the other

[50:09]Muslims the narrator tells they say the most hopeful verse in the

[50:13]Quran is the verse of tawba where Allah says committed so many

[50:27]sins never did be despondent never lose hope in the mercy of

[50:30]Allah because Allah will forgive all your sins if you ask for

[50:36]repentance said yes this is a good verse but there is a

[50:38]verse that even gives us more hope than the verse of tawba

[50:42]can you imagine it gives us even more hope why because the

[50:49]verse of Toba means that you actually have to go and do

[50:54]Toba so many people don't do Toba right on the day of

[50:57]judgment Allah will ask us didn't I allow you to do tawba

[51:01]to repent why didn't you repent what's my answer why it was

[51:04]so easy the door to tawba was open you just had to

[51:08]say I'm sorry you just had to show some regret and promise

[51:10]not to do it again very but you didn't we will be

[51:18]so regretful even then many of us are lazy we don't take

[51:21]the time to repent brothers and sisters says there's a verse in

[51:26]the Quran that gives us even more hope even if we don't

[51:28]do tawba there's still hope for us which verse is that says

[51:33]where Allah says in the Holy Quran Allah tells his messenger Muhammad

[51:43]on the day of judgment I will give you and give you

[51:46]and satisfy you until you are completely satisfied whatever you want o

[51:51]Muhammad I will give you on the day of judgment you want

[51:54]me to take a billion people out of the fires of hell

[51:58]and put them in paradise I'll do it just for you you

[51:59]want me to forgive anyone I will forgive them and then it

[52:07]is intercession of rasulullah rasulullah will intercede upon anyone that deserves intercession

[52:12]now there are some acts brothers and sisters that deprive us of

[52:16]intercession one of those acts is what the prophet himself said this

[52:30]you want him to help you there is a condition the prophet

[52:34]says just do one thing do not take your Salah your prayer

[52:37]lightly don't take it lightly make sure you pray it on Time

[52:41]You Prayed every day you pray correctly the prophet says just do

[52:44]this for me and I guarantee you I will intercede on your

[52:49]behalf I will intercede on your behalf so that your sins will

[52:52]be forgiven but if I don't pray the prophet can't help me

[52:55]on that day brothers and sisters because that's his promise so the

[52:58]least thing we can do brothers and sisters so that we on

[53:01]that day of desperation we have rasulullah there for us is to

[53:06]make sure that you take your Salah seriously or else we will

[53:09]be deprived from the rasulullah so rasulullah is one of the greatest

[53:16]ways that we all of us will benefit from on the day

[53:20]of judgment as her father rasulullah my dear father where will I

[53:25]find you on the day of judgment the prophet tells you will

[53:29]find me by the gate of paradise and I am asking Allah

[53:36]to forgive my ummah I am telling Allah all he cares about

[53:41]on the day of judgment is that his ummah his nation is

[53:44]not punished they are forgiven and taken to Paradise he will find

[53:49]me by the gates of paradise interceding on behalf of my people

[53:53]number two Fatima says what if I do not find you by

[53:58]the gate of paradise he tells her then come to the house

[54:04]there's a huge pool on the day of judgment it is called

[54:05]the pool of kauthor that every believer will be fed from the

[54:11]hands of none other than before they go to paradise if you

[54:17]do not find me by the gate of paradise you'll find me

[54:19]by the pool of el kother and I will be asking Allah

[54:23]to forgive my ummah Fatima said what if I don't find you

[54:29]by how the rasulullah said then come to the Sarat Sarat is

[54:32]the bridge there is a bridge over the fires of hell and

[54:38]it takes you to the paradise of Allah you will find me

[54:41]by the Sarat asking Allah Allah protect my nation protect my people

[54:46]forgive them grant them access to Paradise she then asked him what

[54:51]if I don't find you there rasulullah said then come to the

[54:55]Mizan another station of the day of judgment is the Mizan the

[54:57]scale where Allah weighs our Good Deeds against our bad Deeds I

[55:02]will be there and asking Allah to forgive my ummah Fatima says

[55:05]what if I don't find you there rasulullah rasulullah finally says you

[55:10]will find me right by jahannam you will find me right by

[55:16]jahannam and this is the last effort of rasulullah to save his

[55:18]ummah and I will be telling Allah Allah please forgive my ummah

[55:24]please do not punish them in the fires of hell do you

[55:27]think Allah will tell the prophet no do you think Allah will

[55:33]disappoint Allah when he says in the Holy Quran Allah will give

[55:37]you until you are satisfied Allah he will not rasulullah brothers and

[55:42]sisters is our greatest inspiration he is the greatest source of Mercy

[55:46]on the day of judgment everyone will wish that they were a

[55:51]follower of Muhammad because of how much they see from the forgiveness

[55:55]and the rasulullah and this is the greatest honor brothers and sisters

[55:59]take pride in the fact that you are a follower of Muhammad

[56:02]not only does he do for you every day and because of

[56:08]that Allah protects you in this Dunya not only can we easily

[56:11]repent through Muhammad through tawasun not only we have all of that

[56:19]through rasulullah but on the day of judgment rasulullah will help us

[56:23]through his so hold your head up high and show that Pride

[56:28]that you are followers of this great man Muhammad 1400 years later

[56:33]and until eternity Muhammad will always be a source of mercy and

[56:38]we thank Allah azzawajal that he created us and we were born

[56:42]knowing Muhammad we did not have to go in search for this

[56:45]beautiful Prophet this Prophet that is the embodiment of Mercy and On

[56:51]A Night Like This tonight tomorrow the day after these are the

[56:55]nights that this embodiment of Mercy finally left this Earth and with

[57:04]him that huge manifestation that divine origin of Mercy was buried six

[57:12]feet under rasool Allah was on his deathbed he was very sick

[57:19]it was his last days these were very difficult days upon why

[57:24]not only are they losing rasulullah who is the most merciful being

[57:30]that you could see it's not easy losing such an individual who

[57:34]had such beautiful who had such beautiful manners who was so merciful

[57:42]and respectful and compassionate and loving but in addition to that because

[57:47]knew that as long as Muhammad was alive no one would bother

[57:54]them they knew that their protection from the enemies from the Hypocrites

[57:58]was rasulullah and as soon as rasulullah would die all the animosity

[58:03]would be Unleashed upon his family all the Envy would be Unleashed

[58:08]upon that's why these were difficult days and they were difficult upon

[58:19]rasulullah because he knew after leaving what they will do after him

[58:21]all the oppression that his family will face and that's why on

[58:27]the last day of his life it is reported that rasulullah would

[58:33]constantly say Habibi I want to see the one that I love

[58:36]my Habib one of the wives of rasulullah went and brought her

[58:42]father rasulullah said no another wife brought her father he said no

[58:47]someone else brought a third person everyone was trying to bring someone

[58:52]to see is this the Habib of rasulullah the Prophet would say

[58:55]no I want Habibi the one that I love my beloved it

[59:00]was then that IBN Abbas understood he came to the house of

[59:05]Fatima he told her Allah it's his last moment it's his last

[59:13]days rasulullah wants none other than Imam Ali comes to the house

[59:19]of um he sees rasulullah is very sick it's the last day

[59:23]of the life of rasulullah what difficult day it is to lose

[59:28]his brother to lose his mentor to lose his prophet rasulullah so

[59:34]he sits down besides rasulullah he holds the head of rasulullah he

[59:42]places the holy head of rasulullah in his lap and rasulullah begins

[59:45]to give him his final Wills after him and this was one

[59:49]of the greatest accolades one of the greatest virtues of that he

[59:56]would always say rasulullah died while his head was in my lap

[60:02]meaning I am the closest person to rasulullah and rasulullah wanted me

[60:07]he summoned me in those final seconds rasulullah is in the lap

[60:12]of Salam comes Imam Hassan and Hussein they are young they come

[60:20]they surround rasulullah they're all crying and lamenting because they know they

[60:27]will lose rasulullah it is the last day of the life of

[60:32]rasool Allah is crying weeping the prophet tells her come to me

[60:36]O Father he whispers something in her ear it is reported that

[60:43]Fatima alaihissalam smiled when rasulullah told her she was asked later what

[60:47]did rasulullah tell you that all of a sudden after crying you

[60:49]smiled she said rasulullah told me that if Fatima you will be

[60:55]the first one from my family to join me you will be

[60:59]the first one to die after me look at how happy Fatima

[61:01]was at that news because she knew what the people will do

[61:06]to her she knew all the calamities that would befall her after

[61:10]her father rasulullah they would not even allow her to cry on

[61:12]the grave of rasulullah they prevented her from mourning her own father

[61:19]the messenger so she was looking forward to the day that she

[61:23]leaves this Dunya and she joins rasool Allah Imam Hassan and Hussain

[61:29]they come they cry they loved rasulullah he was like their father

[61:33]he raised them they threw themselves Imam Ali didn't want Imam Hassan

[61:41]and Hussein to burden the prophet so he told them to go

[61:43]away from the prophet don't throw yourself on the Prophet The Prophet

[61:47]told them please keep them on me why because in a few

[61:53]days they will become they will become garib they will see so

[61:58]many tragedies and calamities they will become your team it's as if

[62:03]he is their father and they're losing their father so let them

[62:06]spend their final moments with me he told us my dear daughter

[62:19]you have to be strong and patient after me because after me

[62:28]the people will abandon you the people will oppress you how far

[62:34]from imagine not being surprised have they even ban you from crying

[62:41]over my grace so you have to be strong and patient after

[62:52]me and then he told the mirrors they will all team up

[63:01]against you to overthrow you and to take the position of khilafa

[63:09]from you yeah Ali be patient if you saw that you have

[63:12]supporters to defend you then fight back but if not then practice

[63:16]patience be patient and then he looked towards Imam Hassan the young

[63:27]Hassan he told them as for you Hassan you will be poisoned

[63:43]you will be killed in the land of Kerala by my own

[63:49]people you will be killed while you are thirsty in the land

[63:58]of Kerala one of the last things rasulullah did and this truly

[64:07]breaks the heart he took the hand of Lady Fatima Allah he

[64:10]placed it in the hands this is my Amana in your hand

[64:22]this is my trust take care of her yeah don't let anyone

[64:27]bother her don't let anyone oppress and that's why after Fatima died

[64:34]after he buried her he turned towards the grave of rasulullah he

[64:41]told them [Applause] peace be upon you o rasulullah from me and

[64:51]from your daughter Fatima and then he said this remember the trust

[64:59]that you gave me that you entrusted me with I have given

[65:06]it back to you but in one condition and what condition has

[65:09]she come back to you ask her and she will tell you

[65:14]she will complain to you she will be coming back to you

[65:17]with a broken chest with a chick that was slapped by the

[65:22]enemies with a child that was miscarriage it she will come while

[65:29]her heart is filled with anguish is filled with sorrow ah uh

[65:41]Allah brothers and sisters let us raise our hands supplicate to Allah

[65:57]everyone ten times together Allah [Music] I know many of us have

[66:23]had many of us have wishes many of us are sick or

[66:29]have sick ones anyone that has a hajjah let us turn to

[66:33]rasulullah let us ask Allah to forgive our sins let us ask

[66:41]Allah to answer our wishes to cure our sick ones let us

[66:56]all raise our hands together [Music] and everyone together [Music] foreign [Music]

[67:53]foreign we ask you to forgive us of our sins we ask

[68:02]you to grant us our cure anyone that is sick we ask

[68:10]you to hasten the reappearance of our mawlana make us amongst his

[68:18]companions amongst the martyrs under the Imam grant us this in this

[68:23]life grant us there is in the next life grant us that

[68:30]an ability that we can follow and continue in the footsteps of

[68:34]Muhammad Al Muhammad let us resigned us Muhammad
