[4:46]respected brothers and sisters one of the most important prerequisites and conditions

[4:53]for our deeds and our worship to be accepted is sincerity to

[5:01]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala an action that is done without sincerity an

[5:09]action that is done without meaning without genuine sincerity to God Allah

[5:16]subhana wa taala does not accept this is why one of the

[5:24]first prerequisites of every act of worship any worship whether it's Salah

[5:29]or or anything that you do the first prerequisite is the intention

[5:35]the ni you need to know what you're doing and you need

[5:38]to know who you're doing it for if I'm doing something but

[5:44]it's for other people then how can I expect Allah subhah wa

[5:48]ta'ala to reward me and this is why it's very important for

[5:53]us to purify our intentions to make sure that we go back

[5:57]to our intentions and we make sure that what we are doing

[6:02]is for Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala because this is the only way

[6:09]to receive reward from Allah if we are doing what we are

[6:12]doing whether it's Deeds or worship or whatever it is we have

[6:18]to be doing it purely for Allah subhanahu waala in a he

[6:29]says that God says God says I'm the best partner if you

[6:37]say God has a partner Allah subah wa tala will say let

[6:40]the partner reward you for for if you're doing something for anyone

[6:43]other than God Allah will say so say for example I prayed

[6:52]but I'm praying for people to give me credit and for God

[6:54]Allah will say let people give you credit I'll give it all

[6:59]to the people but if you do something purely for Allah subhanahu

[7:04]wa ta'ala then Allah will reward you and Allah says in the

[7:09]Quran in one of the first conditions of Iman and belief is

[7:26]to give an offering Allah is not asking for much but Allah

[7:31]says whatever you do you have to do it purely for Allah

[7:37]subhah wa ta'ala and this is why we have to purify our

[7:44]intentions Allah says the Deeds Allah subhah wa taala will reward you

[7:52]for the Deeds based on the intention not based on the act

[7:55]of the deed maybe I'm doing something that is huge but I'm

[8:00]doing it for people to praise me but maybe I might be

[8:03]doing something that is small but I'm doing it purely for Allah

[8:07]Allah will give me a reward for the smaller thing but because

[8:11]the intentions are pure the Quran gives us examples of those who

[8:16]gave one example is the story of the sons of Adam gabil

[8:22]and habil they both made a sacrifice but one of them made

[8:29]a sacrifice that was purely for God with genuine sincerity and the

[8:34]other one was doing a sloppy job the other one just wanted

[8:37]to get things done did not have the pure sincerity for Allah

[8:43]subhah wa ta'ala and therefore Allah accepted from the one who had

[8:47]a pure heart Allah says in the [Music] Quran they both gave

[9:00]a sacrifice but only one sacrifice was accepted so then the one

[9:05]who who whose Cain the one whose sacrifice was not accepted he

[9:15]tells his brother I'm going to kill you Hab says one of

[9:21]the conditions of our deeds and our actions to be accepted is

[9:27]that it has to be out of righteousness it has to be

[9:30]out of genuine sincerity and getting closer to Allah subhah wa tala

[9:35]there's another story of giving in the Quran and that is the

[9:39]story of the the family of the Prophet where they slept hungry

[9:44]for three days and they gave their food when they were fasting

[9:47]they gave their pieces of bread now a piece of bread is

[9:54]not expensive in quantity it's not much but in quality it's a

[9:57]lot Allah in chapter 76 speaks about that giving they gave the

[10:09]food when they needed it when they wanted to eat from it

[10:11]when they were hungry and then the verse clarifies we're doing it

[10:26]for God today A lot of times we might be doing good

[10:29]deeds needs but we do it for other people to praise us

[10:33]we do it for other people to say wow mashallah look at

[10:39]this person what they're doing we do it for credit for worldly

[10:44]credit the when they slept hungry for three days the Quran says

[10:52]we don't want you to say thank you the says that they

[10:57]didn't even tell that to the people they just gave them and

[10:58]that's it they weren't looking for any credit they weren't looking for

[11:05]any appreciation from people and this is something very important that we

[11:11]have to instill within our hearts within our Deeds so that our

[11:15]actions and deeds can be accepted there's a story of a lady

[11:24]a poor lady during the time of IM the seventh IM of

[11:29]she was living during the time of IM sad and she was

[11:32]living all the way in Nur which is close to the grave

[11:41]of Im so in the Far East at that time and there's

[14:23]God Centric in our life let everything revolve around God I'm doing

[14:27]a good deed I do it for God anything I believe in

[14:30]I I believe that it goes back to Allah subhana wa ta'ala

[14:33]and nothing else when we have when we have that sincerity in

[14:37]our lives you will see that your life will be transformed you

[14:42]will see everything will be changed and there are many benefits ofas

[14:46]and having that genuine sincerity to Allah subhana wa ta'ala in the

[14:52]Quran from amongst the first benefits is that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[14:58]will accept your Deeds no matter what it is if you're doing

[15:04]it purely for God then know that it will be accepted by

[15:08]Allah subhanahu waala and the whole point of all of our actions

[15:17]all of our worship is that Allah accepts if the whole world

[15:22]recognizes me and the whole world claps for me and recognizes me

[15:25]and and gives me a reward but God does not give me

[15:28]a reward is it worth it it's not worth it in the

[15:32]end of the day I have to make sure that God is

[15:35]pleased with me I have to make sure that whatever I do

[15:37]is for Allah subhah wa ta'ala sometimes we get caught in the

[15:44]traps of this dun and we want recognition and fame and acknowledgement

[15:49]from people that we start focusing on people and we start putting

[15:54]Allah subhah wa ta'ala behind and we don't even do what we

[16:00]do for Allah subhanahu wa taala and then you find when people

[16:05]are in this trap of wanting to please people then they fall

[16:09]in this trap that they will never be able to get out

[16:15]of because there's a rule in life that people you will never

[16:17]be able to please no matter what you do you'll never be

[16:22]able to please people people they come and they try to become

[16:24]millionaires thinking that people are going to approve of them they're not

[16:27]going to approve of them they want to become power powerful wealthy

[16:30]thinking that people will approve of them no one will approve of

[16:33]them people don't approve anyone if we are looking for approval if

[16:40]we are looking to please anyone we have to make sure that

[16:43]we please Allah subhana wa tala you could please God but you

[16:47]can't please people people won't be pleased with you and this is

[16:51]the reality even if you're a good person people are not going

[16:54]to be pleased with you mam Prophet M he was a prophet

[16:58]of God they used to harass him the people people his own

[17:00]people they used to verbally assault him and harass him one day

[17:03]Prophet mus he tells Allah can you stop these people from talking

[17:57]people so that now this person who's a nobody who no one

[18:22]are willing to do for other people's satisfaction and you could never

[18:34]God's satisfaction you will be able to gain that second my dear

[18:38]brothers and sisters one of the second benefits of having and sincerity

[18:46]is that shitan will not be able to come to you shaan

[20:01]purely for God El is not going to be able to come

[20:06]to you third benefit ofas according to the Quran is that you

[20:14]will have easy accountability easy on the day of judgment the day

[20:20]of judgment is a very difficult day where Allah subhah wa ta'ala

[20:24]will judge Everyone by their actions every Adam's weight of good Allah

[20:36]will hold it accountable every Adam's weight of bad Allah will hold

[20:41]it accountable but the people who have Allah will be very easy

[20:44]going with them because everything that they did in this dun they

[20:47]did it purely for God so therefore their is going to be

[20:53]very easy on the day of judgment Allah says in the Quran

[20:55]in Surah zumar chapter Z verse 68 Allah says in the Quran

[21:11]on the day of judgment everyone will go to be judged and

[21:15]have a very strict judgment except those who are an exception okay

[21:23]so there's a category of people their their accountability is going to

[21:27]be very easy on the day of judgment who who are those

[21:29]people inah saat verse 127 Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala explains who those people

[21:36]are Allah says in the Quran Allah says they will all be

[21:48]gathered and joined to be held accountable for all before God except

[21:54]the except those who are sincere Allah will give them an easy

[21:59]path pass have you seen in the airport when you're traveling there

[22:02]are some people they have to wait on the long line and

[22:06]then there are some people they just pass by they have the

[22:56]easy to get God's satisfaction everything you do you could do it

[23:00]for God you wake up and you want to go to work

[23:08]work bring you clear closer to God you say I'm going to

[23:13]work so that I could provide for my family I drink water

[23:18]I eat food I say I do that how because I want

[23:22]to have the strength to worship God I want to have the

[23:24]strength to bring me closer to Allah subhana wa ta'ala you get

[23:28]up and you visit your parents you say anything you do keep

[23:31]God in the equation and Allah will reward you for it so

[23:36]then you will see on the day of judgment your reward will

[23:38]be very great and Allah says in the Quran Allah says everyone

[23:56]will see reward for their actions except the the their reward is

[24:00]special their reward is going to be amazing it's going to be

[24:02]different than anyone else why because everything that they did in this

[24:09]life they did it purely for God therefore Allah subhah wa ta'ala

[24:12]will give them a great type of reward the fifth benefit my

[24:19]dear brothers and sisters is that the one who hasas the one

[24:22]who has sincerity the one who everything they do they do it

[24:28]for God Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will give this person wisdom Allah

[24:31]subhana wa ta'ala will give this person the ability to make sound

[24:35]decisions in life in the of he says if 40 days you

[24:53]have everything be sincere to God 40 days can we do that

[24:59]40 days let all all my actions everything that I do revolve

[25:03]around God he says the the Springs of wisdom are going to

[25:20]be revealed from this person's heart on this person's tongue and this

[25:26]person will become a very different person and this is the reality

[25:33]because if I'm if I'm sincere if everything I do is for

[25:35]God then my objective I'm going to have Clarity on life I'm

[25:41]going to have a clear purpose in life I'm going to know

[25:43]exactly what my purpose what my mission in this dun is therefore

[25:48]I'm going to be wiser therefore I'm going to know how to

[25:50]deal with people sometimes people are being difficult with me I'm going

[25:56]to know not to fall in traps of anger and traps of

[25:58]and I'm going to make sure that I'm doing that which Allah

[26:03]subhah wa taala is pleased with me because my life won't be

[26:06]dictated by wealth my my life won't be dictated by dun my

[26:12]life won't be dictated by anything superficial and this is why when

[26:19]we have thatas Allah subhah wa ta'ala will be the one guiding

[26:23]me Allah will be the one taking my hand and guiding me

[26:27]and from the sixth benefit of is that we will have better

[26:33]relations with people if I'm sincere to God my relations with people

[26:36]are going to be better why a lot of times we expect

[26:39]people to appreciate us because I did something and I want them

[26:45]to appreciate me and they don't appreciate me then I get upset

[26:47]but if I'm doing things purely for Allah subhana wa tala am

[26:52]I still going to expect people to appreciate me I'm not going

[26:55]to expect it anymore so my attitude and my philosophy towards people

[26:59]is going to be very different therefore I'm going to have healthier

[27:03]relations with people we ask Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala to increase our and

[27:10]to grow our sincerity in action alhamdulillah [Music] muh I Muhammad Al

[29:40]also very important from an Islamic perspective to be sincere with people

[30:24]clear when a person is not sincere to towards other people they

[30:28]only get themselves in worse trouble and theith says you really want

[30:37]to be saved be honest with people be clear with people maybe

[30:41]sometimes telling someone what they don't want to hear for a brief

[30:47]time this is better than telling them something that is not true

[30:52]but then it will later on reveal you to be someone else

[30:56]and this is something very true this is why when we look

[31:01]at the prophets we look at the imams one of the first

[31:02]qualities of the righteous is that they were honest people you don't

[31:08]lie teach yourself to always be clear and straightforward with people in

[31:14]AI from he says being truthful that is what will save you

[31:23]that is what will help you that is what will continue to

[34:07]politicians in the US government in Europe in the Muslim World they

[34:10]come out and they talk about the suffering of the people of

[34:13]gazah the suffering that is intolerable of what's going on with the

[34:20]people of gazah and how they're suffering and then you come and

[34:23]you see the reality is that they are the ones who are

[34:27]contributing to the suffering they are the the ones who are allowing

[34:30]the suffering to continue allowing this and funding this genocide to continue

[34:36]today there's a debate they come and they make it look like

[34:42]it's a debate as what's going on in Gaza whether it's a

[34:44]genocide or not they come and they say no no no it's

[34:48]not a genocide then what is a genocide if what's going on

[34:56]yesterday one of the most recognized uh humanitarian organizations Amnesty International they
