[37:53]says the door to a person will never be able to reach

[37:56]the highest level of my effort of understanding of allah unless it

[38:02]is saying one will be able to understand in one of his

[39:37]right so this understanding of how to approach what is the methodology

[39:50]have dedicated all their life to health to knowledge to science obviously

[39:57]they would be genius but they focused on you know quran and

[43:08]that highest level of understanding now what is the symbolic value of

[43:26]you know our first as being the kaaba what do we do

[43:31]after the tawaf of kaaba we go and such that you know

[43:35]we pray to our prayer behind ibrahim because the reward of doing

[43:41]that tawaf of you know going up the seven heavens you reach

[43:44]to the seventh you fall in sajdah which is you pray so

[43:49]when you do the tawaf of abu fazal you will reach the

[43:53]point of understanding that's what truth is right is that individual that

[44:02]personality through which hajjats are given and tonight is the night of

[44:08]the arab imam hussain so how can it not be possible that

[44:12]we attend to abu al-fazal first and then after that we you

[44:19]know do the seattle for the as we are looking at the

[44:37]etiquettes of siarat and the importance of sayarat and ziad being very

[44:43]central to uh our creed to our faith you know so much

[44:48]emphasis on zia there's a purpose and reason for that the reason

[44:52]for that is for example when i was just reflecting on a

[44:57]few points while looking at this earth we find that ziyarat is

[44:59]a treaty of faith when we are reciting it is a treaty

[45:04]of our faith we begin by pronouncing the shahada by acceptance of

[45:08]the prophet you know of the ambiya and everybody and then we

[45:12]give salutations and salam it's our or our treaty of faith zyarat

[45:20]is actually as an oath and our elegance to for what the

[45:24]imam has stood for for that truth and we are paying allegiance

[45:29]to that imam and our imam is alive so our visitation to

[45:34]the imam this walk of uh of uh from najaf to karbala

[45:40]and this work of arab is actually you know is is is

[45:45]paying allegiance to the imam that we are ready to walk on

[45:47]this path which imam hussain stood for if imam comes the 12th

[45:54]imam arrives ziyar is actually a stance we are taking a stance

[45:59]here when we are pronouncing all of those things in the search

[46:01]if we translate that this is my stance here this is where

[46:05]i am this is who i am this is how what i

[46:09]believe in you know imam you did this and those people for

[46:12]example in school you know reflect a bit tomorrow more that those

[46:16]people in order to achieve their dunya they have killed you you

[46:22]know in the end bit of this yard that's what we decide

[46:24]right and it's a pronouncement of our standpoint it's actually our worldview

[46:29]wholesaling is our worldview you know how we believe into the imams

[46:34]who they are what they are you know it is actually a

[46:40]definition an introduction of imams and masala so we have to pay

[46:44]attention to this way as they say that when we recite ziyarah

[46:48]the hijab the wales of understanding the wales of darkness is lifted

[46:55]from our heart by recitation obvious by visitation you know when we

[47:01]do the the the the hijab that that is on our heart

[47:04]that is lifted that is taken away we connect to the imam

[47:06]we connect to that modifier we connect to that spirituality that's the

[47:12]power in this of masumi or we feel it and we have

[47:17]seen it and that's why we yearn to go over and over

[47:19]again every time we go we see a new you know new

[47:25]world all together there in terms of our understanding and inspiration ziad

[47:30]is actually you know understanding of what existence is all about the

[47:36]whole existence what it is the existence the reality of existence is

[47:40]understood through they say that particularly is actually a methodology of spiritual

[47:51]methodology of self-purification is a complete methodology if somebody wants to know

[48:02]what are the different levels of purification one should really focus on

[48:07]the asura not just by reciting trying to understand the different levels

[48:10]that are in there there are so many duas in the ashura

[48:14]itself there are 11 different types of duas and there are 11

[48:17]different types or more of negative attributes of the enemies of imam

[48:22]hussain al-salam been mentioned there and also same in these as well

[48:28]so ziyarat is actually understanding the whole complexity of existence of of

[48:35]the imam existence of the self existence of the reality that is

[48:40]around that happens through you know through recitation of ziad and understanding

[48:44]it's actually our decision in life you know what is our decision

[48:50]the haqq is there what are we going to do you know

[48:54]are we on the side of the yazid or are we that's

[48:55]why we say that we are with you i wish i was

[48:58]with you oh imam saying and that i would have that have

[49:01]sacrificed that's what we say right it's actually a commitment to the

[49:10]imam like last night i was mentioning that you know [Music] they

[49:14]are very kind and caring for us they have done everything in

[49:20]honor that we reach to a higher level that we come out

[49:23]of this dunya in the best way possible that's what what because

[49:27]of their sacrifices you know we said drinking waters giving salams to

[49:35]imam sahab of namaze taking steps towards the imam every step that

[49:40]you take go visit the look at this one what could be

[49:53]the greatest and the best way to leave this dunya one would

[49:56]say that of course a person who is martyred who is shaheed

[50:00]that's the best death ever that a person is shaheed that's the

[50:04]best death because all of the imams were right except the 12th

[50:09]imam is his reappearance right so the best death is shahadah that's

[50:12]what imam was saying one of the hadith says that death is

[50:15]like a necklace every person have in their neck but the best

[50:19]death is considered right request imam with long life so we have

[50:33]to pray for a long life as well right you know last

[50:36]night it was a nice know-how was recited allah you know bring

[50:40]me to karbala and never return me back it's a very emotional

[50:46]way of saying it yes bring me to karbala and never returned

[50:50]me back to the dunya i could come back give me long

[50:53]life i go back again you know not that i come and

[50:59]die there okay fine let my dunya die there because when you

[51:01]do that you disconnect you don't have same interest as it was

[51:08]after this right after you do that you don't feel the same

[51:15]right you you you will fall in love with hussain and that's

[51:20]what we should ask for that we should fall in love all

[51:23]of the assad of imam was saying they were ashaykh they were

[51:28]lovers of imam hussain so when we love imam hussain then imam

[51:35]hussain will take us to the places where we cannot imagine and

[51:39]that's what he has done to his who was completely on the

[51:45]opposite but we look very mom sent to her right you know

[51:50]who was the reason why mum said got stuck in karbala was

[51:53]the reason why ibrahim came to kufa but look because of the

[52:03]love that he had for imam saying none of them were on

[52:08]the level where they are capable of seeing their positions in paradise

[52:20]showed them their their where they are in paradise right they you

[52:27]know what i'm saying exhilarated the process of their efforts accelerated their

[52:32]process of their understanding of reality of truth imam did that out

[52:37]of that love so if we have the love of your mom

[52:40]same thing happens to us as well he will accelerate that process

[52:43]like as i was mentioning look so that we reach you the

[52:49]highest level of reward in salah we say okay the best way

[52:53]of death he said ishad what is the hadith it says a

[53:09]person is dying you know in in bed because of illness whatever

[53:13]you know may allah give all our senior members our parents long

[53:19]life and health with loads of tofu heart to serve athlete but

[53:25]when the time comes it is fixed we all have to go

[53:29]you know maybe you know in a hospital for example or in

[53:35]a bed a person is dying but if he has the love

[53:36]or she has the love of it he's dying a death of

[53:44]shahadat what is that of shahadah so we put another hadees of

[53:47]the imam next to it shaheed is looking the law when he

[53:52]is dying looks at the face of allah when he is dying

[53:57]and he's about to die he's looking at the face of allah

[54:00]yeah that's why shahid shame is somebody who's witnessing witnessing what witnessing

[54:04]the reality and truth and that is you know there's no existence

[54:10]but the existence of allah he is give he's bearing witness to

[54:12]that and that existence of god you know he's looking at that

[54:18]reality that is a shaheed so a person who is in love

[54:23]who loves he has done nothing has that love his will be

[54:26]rewarded will be given the death of shaheed shaheed never dies the

[54:32]quran says that hadees is saying a person loves element he dies

[54:36]the death of just that loves is giving that reward of shahadat

[54:41]that the highest level that a person could ever imagine so this

[54:46]love that we have which has been cultivated installed by our parents

[54:53]may allah bless them by that young age they brought us here

[54:57]right that's why we are here today that's why when the name

[55:03]of hussain is taken in our heart shakes right and that's what

[55:07]we have to do to our children as well bring them here

[55:10]they may not understand just them being here their presence is very

[55:17]important you know angels right in this very place right here it's

[55:26]a very beautiful place very peaceful place the best place that we

[55:32]can ever imagine are our centers these are the lighthouses right so

[55:36]when they are just here you know things are taking care right

[55:41]so this love is installed in us is you know it is

[55:47]cultivated in our hearts from that very young age and we have

[55:51]to make sure that we maintain and protect and save this love

[55:53]that we have as our parents gives us so much and in

[56:02]return they don't really expect anything as such you know those who

[56:06]are not parents when you will become parent you will realize you

[56:10]know they are doing everything for their children selflessly they want their

[56:15]to be successful but when they realize that the child is into

[56:21]for example allah protect them you know and may allah bring all

[56:27]our youth out if they are into drugs and these type of

[56:29]things it hurts them because they have done everything they have provided

[56:36]everything or if they are not in education they don't want to

[56:38]study that they're lazy you know laid back they're not responsible not

[56:44]committed you know all of these things this kind of hurts but

[56:47]at the same time that love is there too still they will

[56:50]provide still they will give still they will take care right but

[56:54]it hurts them the same way you know what you call that

[57:02]the shaky lead you know the key the the master key of

[57:07]everything is imam saying the master key of everything whatever he wanted

[57:18]you know we passed away recently very great there's no time to

[57:23]discuss about the stories anyways what he says that you know he

[57:26]says he says if you don't get the hajj you know tell

[57:31]me i'll get that there was a saiyan you know about then

[57:34]he was right so what i'm saying is that they are giving

[57:41]and providing everything and they want the best for us but in

[57:43]return right they don't expect that oh i do zyalot every day

[57:48]i give salams to them every day no they they don't want

[57:53]us to deviate from the past they don't want us to you

[57:59]know you know uh commit sins commit things that will hurt that

[58:02]will you know dishearten them it hurts them right we don't want

[58:07]to hurt them it's enough they've been hurt you know already you

[58:13]know and then me as a lover do something that is nasty

[58:18]something that's not good you know it's not right it's not right

[58:23]it's time to be disciplined to be focused right maybe we never

[58:29]know as a badjad used to say maybe we take one step

[58:31]towards sin we don't know when the where the next steps will

[58:36]take us maybe we are taking one step you know we will

[58:40]look at once we don't know this looking at one's name how

[58:42]much of love or hussain is taken away from my heart i

[58:46]don't want that to happen this love is a special love i

[58:49]don't want to see something that will you know put my heart

[58:53]a bit harder and doesn't allow that love of hussain to remain

[58:58]in my heart i don't want to do that because it's a

[59:02]very special thing given to me this is not given to tom

[59:05]dick and harry it's given to me and we i and i

[59:08]know that this is very special this is the truth and this

[59:12]is the reality i know that right so we have to be

[59:16]careful so a person who dies a normal death just having that

[59:21]love by any way is rewarded that death that means that he

[59:24]may not have that modified that of allah that understanding of allah

[59:30]to that spiritual level as all of these scholars and aurapha and

[59:34]artists that we talk about these great scholars right spiritual masters that

[59:38]are there he may not have that i may not have that

[59:41]but at the end then i'm about to leave this world because

[59:46]i have love this will be exhilarated my understanding will quickly upgrade

[59:53]it you know allah will download things in my heart and in

[59:59]my mind that i will have the capacity to see the reality

[60:01]and truth when i am about to leave this world right that

[60:05]like for example in the margin they say that you know sadhara

[60:09]great philosophy since death itself is perfection of who of a muslim

[60:17]or a non-muslim or a death itself is perfection right yes where

[60:23]that person goes in balance that is something else we are not

[60:26]talking about that we are talking about what death is that is

[60:30]a perfection why because the the soul have reached to a point

[60:32]it has the capacity to dwell and to breathe in barzah and

[60:37]to see the reality in bazaar it's like the you know birth

[60:39]of a child you know coming to this world is perfection compared

[60:43]to the previous state because the previous state the eyes did not

[60:48]have the capacity to grasp the light the colors the taste you

[60:51]know the lungs were not ready to breathe in this world that's

[60:56]why the womb was there then finally when the lungs becomes perfect

[60:58]it comes to this world so that it can breathe here and

[61:01]survive here regardless of a child being a child of a you

[61:07]know muslim or non-muslim or what not a human being the same

[61:10]way death is a command is a perfection right because when it

[61:15]does when the soul is ready to dwell and be possible to

[61:19]live in bazaar it reaches there yes it may have done certain

[61:26]things which are good where it enjoys and have pleasure like for

[61:29]example the child may be born in a family where the azan

[61:33]and is given what you would like to mention is right but

[61:37]it could be born in a place where you know these things

[61:42]are not available for that person it requires that person that that

[61:45]has its own philosophy i don't want to get into that but

[61:49]so they ask him that how about people who die young you

[61:53]know if death is perfection that means that a person should get

[61:56]old and experienced and then eventually ready to leave the world that

[62:02]is the normal cycle of things right that's a normal cycle but

[62:05]what about a person who dies young he says that the process

[62:10]of the soul becoming perfect is accelerated for that person very quickly

[62:13]so that it is easy for that person to go in so

[62:17]the same way the process of of the heart is exhilarated because

[62:22]of the love of salah right when the asshaw of imam was

[62:28]saying love imam was saying that process of marijuana right it's a

[62:56]very symbolic story that has so many beautiful divine realities within it

[63:03]you know layla is in lay you know allah says right that

[63:11]lay anyway so majnoon would go the kiss major would go and

[63:14]kiss the feet of the dog they were asking are you crazy

[63:19]yeah it was much you know crazy so he said why do

[63:21]you do that he would say that because this dog sometimes goes

[63:24]in the house of layla that's the issue is actually not crazy

[63:42]huh this is a person he's very smart you know he knows

[63:48]who to love you know it's with full intellectual understanding it's not

[63:53]like junoon in that sense of any worldly or dunya we love

[63:58]no it's a true love that is called which of imam was

[64:07]saying where imam hussain is a person of the battlefield he said

[64:13]you're not going he's a man of the battlefield he's waiting for

[64:21]this moment you know he's all his life is that he said

[64:24]you're not going okay very simple right going to the furaat and

[64:35]not drinking very easy for a person to drink but he did

[64:38]not right so this is that sort of that understanding of who

[64:45]imam is right from that very young age to that age of

[64:48]36 that young age you know ready to rage and fight prepared

[64:53]for war right so the marifat now for ziyaran there are certain

[65:01]things as we said you know there are a couple of other

[65:03]points that i will mention it later ciaran itself is korbela his

[65:10]nearness to allah when a person performs you know he comes closer

[65:14]to allah by the performance of it he understand that you know

[65:18]i was sitting next to in thursday night you have the haram

[65:25]of abdullah and why command was going on sometimes it becomes very

[65:30]difficult that tawa to the imam or to allah you know it's

[65:33]like you know very difficult for me personally you know but then

[65:37]i said you know this is why kumail is from the imam

[65:42]and imagine imam with that command and perfection and infallibility and ismat

[65:51]allah he is reciting imagine what a lies right you know he's

[65:59]saying you know imam is mentioning that imam who is of that

[66:06]level imagine what allah would be so the more we love imam

[66:11]the more we understand imam the state of all the state of

[66:15]allah increases in our heart you know with that all right with

[66:22]that all power i mean moving in you know he goes in

[66:25]the wilderness and goes unconscious doing munajad right right he's scared of

[66:31]the qiyama hereafter what will happen who are we right that kind

[66:39]of shakes us you know it kind of puts us on guard

[66:43]you know where are we going what are we doing right so

[66:47]ziyarat is actually horrible it brings that nearness to allah apart from

[66:54]that that are all there we could feel it we know it

[66:58]when we do zeerath automatically we come closer to allah you know

[67:03]right and the other thing that is very important in ziyarat is

[67:09]the huzzur of the kala which is the presence of the heart

[67:12]now how to gain that presence of the heart there are few

[67:17]things which i would like to point out to when it comes

[67:20]to the presence of the heart one of the things in the

[67:23]presence of the heart to bring about is actually by attracting the

[67:29]luth the grace the mercy of allah we have to attract that

[67:38]perhaps because of this reason we have the aspect of you know

[67:42]we give gifts and tavarok and you know by more kids and

[67:47]all that that are there it's in order to attract that mercy

[67:50]charity giving charity attracts the loot for allah right is say for

[68:25]everything you will go ask him you know i have a problem

[68:30]i have this issue i have this problem with the intention of
