[7:24]brothers and sisters tonight inshallah we'll spend few minutes just to summarize

[7:33]what we have been discussing over the past few nights about the

[7:37]whole concept of wilaiah and then inshallah we'll discuss about the representatives

[7:46]of imam al mahdi during his occupation and then inshallah we'll get

[7:55]into the discussion of the wilaya or the masterhood of the mumineen

[8:00]and muminat which is the fourth level of masterhood that is ordered

[8:06]by allah so first of all just to recap and kind of

[8:16]clear the picture in our minds my dear brothers and my dear

[8:20]sisters we've been discussing that wilaya consists of three main components declaring

[8:29]someone as a master consists of three main components one is recognizing

[8:36]the master and we brought in that definition last night when we

[8:40]said to recognize what that master also wants of us and then

[8:49]to obey that master once we've recognized him and recognized what he

[8:54]wants of us when i'm faced with a situation i have to

[8:58]follow him and obey him in a way that will please him

[9:04]and then not only following and obeying but i must also do

[9:09]it with love with compassion i must love this master and we

[9:15]said as per the holy quran allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has declared

[9:21]himself as a master of all the human beings but especially to

[9:27]those believers to those to those individuals who declared him as a

[9:31]master then allah takes special care of those individuals he guides them

[9:38]in this world he protects them in this world he takes care

[9:43]of them in this world which does not mean that they live

[9:47]a simple life life full of or free of struggles and difficulties

[9:53]no on the contrary it could be a life full of difficulties

[9:59]and in fact they may die in the path of allah subhanahu

[10:03]wa ta'ala for their love and obedience to allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[10:07]but allah will bless them in this world when people remember them

[10:12]they remember them and bless their lives they'll say may allah have

[10:17]mercy upon them this is the blessing in dunya and of course

[10:20]in the akhirah allah has prepared for them special rewards and then

[10:26]allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has ordered us to follow his messengers and

[10:30]apostles and for us we've been blessed to believe in the message

[10:35]of muhammad and we have to follow him and allah subhanahu wa

[10:46]ta'ala told us in the holy quran which is the direct word

[10:50]of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala revealed to the prophet muhammad that you

[10:55]have to obey all believers obey allah and obey the messengers and

[11:02]hence my dear brothers and my dear sisters we find that the

[11:05]messengers and then those divine successors they are the ones who most

[11:13]submit to allah because they best understand allah subhanahu wa ta'ala they

[11:20]have the best understanding of allah among his creation the best understanding

[11:25]and hence their complete submission and infallibility stems from their complete or

[11:34]from their comprehensive and best understanding of allah it is like for

[11:41]example having a king and then you've got a two year old

[11:46]in the front of this king this two year old does not

[11:50]recognize this king but a king or not king status doesn't care

[11:55]so you might find this two year old while the king is

[11:57]talking for example by them playing around maybe even not listening paying

[12:03]attention to what the king is saying maybe even making faces at

[12:06]the king joking at him because this little two year old does

[12:11]not comprehend then when another child for example a 10 year old

[12:16]this 10 year old has a bit more understanding and comprehension of

[12:19]the king and hence you might find them at least not running

[12:22]around but will sit down and bored when is he gonna finish

[12:27]boring you know i was like whatever so this could be the

[12:31]10 year old but when you have a mature wise person sitting

[12:36]down this mature wise person would listen tentatively to this king because

[12:41]he knows the status of this king he understands and hence there

[12:46]are those who are of course the prophets and the uliya the

[12:49]ma'asumeen who understand the status of allah who is allah who is

[12:55]the creator of this universe who is the one who has everything

[13:00]under his control and hence they never commit amasiyah a sin because

[13:06]of their understanding and comprehension not because they are programmed not to

[13:13]commit a masiyah they do have the choice to commit a masiyah

[13:18]a sin however because of their best understanding of allah subhanahu wa

[13:23]ta'ala they never commit the masuda whereas us depending the humans there

[13:30]are those who are two year olds you know the example of

[13:33]that two year olds who never care and then there are those

[13:36]who are little bit care but again when they start for the

[13:39]salat they stand for the salat their mind is elsewhere they wanna

[13:43]do certain actions their mind is elsewhere they commit the sin they

[13:47]forget about allah they don't realize how great allah is so depending

[13:53]on the understanding of and the submission of individuals of the greatness

[14:00]of allah that would be the degree of the ladder of spirituality

[14:05]and then allah ordered us to follow the messengers and he followed

[14:10]us ordered us to follow our beloved prophet and similarly those who

[14:14]understand the prophet the best they have the best understanding of allah

[14:20]as well because the prophet guides to allah he teaches people how

[14:26]to worship allah to the best level and hence you find those

[14:31]individuals they have absolute loyalty to the prophet and those are the

[14:38]likes of amir muminee and the masuminee they have loyalty to the

[14:42]prophets a loyalty that we may not understand you know it is

[14:47]said in najjbalah brothers and sisters towards the end of the short

[14:51]words of wisdom in nahjul balagha and nahjul balagha is a book

[14:55]that's compiled by a sharif ugarli which contains the sermons the letters

[15:00]and short words of wisdom of amir ugarli and hence it is

[15:03]divided into three sections one is the sermons of mumin one of

[15:09]his letters the letters he wrote and the third section are the

[15:13]short words of wisdom that he may have said that he said

[15:18]towards the end of the last section the short words of wisdom

[15:21]it is said that a man asked amir al muminee he said

[15:30]you amir al mumineen why don't you dye your beard it is

[15:33]mustahab to dye the beard he responded this is towards the end

[15:40]of his life they say amir al mumineen got killed in the

[15:44]year '40 after hijra '40 so just shortly before his martyrdom he

[15:51]responded he said he said to dye the beard is an ornament

[16:02]a sign of happiness and joy but we are in grief sharif

[16:09]umarli comments he says this is the grief for the loss of

[16:13]rasulullah the prophet died in the year 10/2011 after hijra ami ibn

[16:21]mumineen got killed in the year '40 after hijra so we're talking

[16:26]about how many years thirty years and ami ibn mumineen says we

[16:31]are in grief and one of the ulema says it also could

[16:35]be possible for the loss of fatima tazara because also in najib

[16:40]al arabah when he sat on the grave of rasulullah after burying

[16:42]fatima tazara he sat on the grave of and rasulullah and he

[16:47]said you rasulullah he complained and one of the sentences he said

[16:53]my nights are gonna be sleepless after fatima and my grief is

[17:03]for eternity so for thirty years amir al mu'mineen is in grief

[17:09]in aza for the allah and so are the mu'mineen on the

[17:15]day of saturday every day of the week there is a specific

[17:19]ziyara mentioned by sheikh abbasul qummim fatih urjanath for one of them

[17:23]on soumeen saturday is dedicated for rasulullah brothers and sisters try to

[17:29]read these ziyarat every day after salatul subha open up my fatih

[17:33]or sometime during the day and read the ziyarat of the masoom

[17:38]on that day saturday is dedicated for rasulullah sunday is dedicated for

[17:41]amir al mumineen and imam al raba jawad al hadi al hadi

[17:58]musalam thursday is for imam al asghari and friday is dedicated for

[18:03]imam al madhir mutalah on the saturday if you read the ziyah

[18:13]of the prophet on the saturday the ziyah one part of it

[18:18]in the middle says we have lost you we have lost you

[18:31]o our beloved one and what a great tragedy it is the

[18:40]the revelation stopped coming to us because we lost you after we

[18:44]lost you rasulullah no more jibra'i coming to descend and bring this

[18:48]blessings upon the the believers even fatima tazara said she said this

[18:54]also to rasulullah when she mourned him after his death that when

[18:59]we lost you we lost that revelation we lost that twahi so

[19:04]this is the loyalty that people have to rasulullah and hence they

[19:08]follow rasulullah to every letter that the prophet told them to do

[19:12]whatever he tells them to do they will follow him that is

[19:15]amir al muminia alaihi salaam and ahlul baytia alaihi musallam and then

[19:19]allah ordered us to follow and those who dedicate their time and

[19:29]their lives obeying and loving and recognizing those individuals will ascend the

[19:38]ladder of spirituality my dear brothers and my dear sisters such that

[19:42]they will become among the muttaqeen the pious ones who involve three

[19:49]components they will determine to stay away from the sins the maqsiyah

[19:55]they will determine to perform the musta chabad it is said sharif

[20:02]ul rabi this compiler of najjul bala'ala had a brother by the

[20:06]name of sharif ul mukhtaba sharif ul mukhtaba was a fatih a

[20:10]magja and sharif ul rabi used to pray behind sharif ul mukhtaba

[20:15]when their father died they inherited his library so they said let's

[20:20]divide the books accordingly you choose a book and i'll choose one

[20:24]book so they started choosing choosing choosing until there was one book

[20:28]there was an odd number of books apparently not even if i'm

[20:31]muttabah said to his brother sharif ul rabih i think the one

[20:35]who should have this book is the one who never committed a

[20:37]sin in his life referring to himself sharif ul rabih looked at

[20:43]him and said i think the one who should have this book

[20:46]is the one who never even thought of committing the masiya in

[20:50]his life so sharif al mutala smiled at him and said indeed

[20:56]you deserve it take it so how could a person who is

[21:01]not a masu not an infallible person sharif abu dhabi was not

[21:05]a masu how could he ascend that ladder of spirituality to achieve

[21:09]that level it's because of his faith and taqwa to to the

[21:16]prophet and then to allah in turn then he ascended that ladder

[21:23]praying salatul layl this must have had they determined themselves that we

[21:27]will pray salatul layl it is said the son of sheikh abbasul

[21:30]kummi one morning woke up he saw his father sheikh abbasul kummi

[21:34]the one who offered maffati ibn janaan he saw his father weeping

[21:39]he said my father what is the matter he said today i

[21:42]miss salatulay i miss salatulay and he was weeping crying in tears

[21:48]in pain for missing salat we miss salatu and we don't even

[21:52]care about it never mind salatu so that is the muttaqeen they

[21:58]determine to perform the good deeds to stay away from the bad

[22:03]deeds then they watch themselves as they're performing their deeds they ask

[22:07]themselves what are we doing here is whatever we're doing okay or

[22:10]not okay is allah pleased with us or not and then after

[22:14]they finish their deeds in the end of the day they sit

[22:17]down and they start thinking today what have i done is everything

[22:22]that i did was for the sake of allah today if it

[22:26]is then they thank allah for helping them and blessing them for

[22:31]this guidance if not they seek tawbah and istighfar they say my

[22:36]lord forgive us and this world before the hereafter comes when the

[22:40]punishment arrives so this is my dear brothers and my dear sisters

[22:46]the path of the muttaqeel people who ascend this path follow this

[22:51]path they ascend the path of spirituality people like salman al farasi

[22:56]who the prophet peace be upon him says salman is of us

[23:02]ahlul bayt how does salman reach that status it's true the staqwa

[23:06]and the piety and the faith in allah subhanahu wa ta'ala the

[23:10]belief and the obedience and the love to rasulullah and to ahlul

[23:14]baytia that's how we reach that status so my dear brothers and

[23:19]my dear sisters it is extremely important for us to pray to

[23:22]allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to increase in our guidance to increase in

[23:27]our knowledge and recognition of the ma'foo which in turn increases our

[23:33]knowledge of the prophet the infallible the the master of all which

[23:40]in turn increases our faith and understanding of allah we should pray

[23:44]to allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to make us always obedient and submissive

[23:48]to them and to make us love them unconditional love unconditional love

[23:55]this my dear brothers and my dear sisters inshaallah clarifies the picture

[24:00]of what we have been discussing for the past few nights then

[24:06]we come to the understanding so far that the twelfth imam al

[24:11]mahdi has gone into haifa occultation he is born and then he

[24:22]stayed five years with his father imam al asghari until his father

[24:27]got martyred he prayed the salat he took care of the janazah

[24:32]of his father salat al meyid he took care of the janazah

[24:35]of his father and then he assigned deputies he was followed and

[24:40]they wanted to kill him the government of his time wanted to

[24:42]kill him so he assigned deputies four deputies and that duration or

[24:49]that period lasted for about seventy two or seventy three years after

[24:54]which he went and this is known as the minor occultation then

[25:00]he went into the major occultation before he goes into this major

[25:06]occultation he made a writing that whatever events happen now go back

[25:15]to hadithina the people who narrate the hadith our hadith go back

[25:21]to them in other words you have to follow they are my

[25:34]representatives to you and i am the representative of allah upon them

[25:39]or to them which is the whole concept of following a maghjib

[25:44]or a fatih and hence we have to follow a living fatih

[25:51]we have to live follow a fatih the alim as per the

[25:55]hadith of imam al mahdi and those individuals imam al mahdi he

[26:05]guides them now how he guides them this allah knows best they

[26:10]say a story they narrate a story from may allah bless his

[26:14]soul one of the great ramadan najaf may allah bless his soul

[26:19]one of his students said i used to sleep in the haram

[26:25]of imam al ali if you take a look today inshallah if

[26:29]you go to the haram and get the ziyar and the chance

[26:32]to do the ziyar of imam al muminee so at night they

[26:50]would close the gates of the whole haram and those students would

[26:54]stay inside one of the students said the gate was closed one

[26:59]night and all of a sudden i was reading was spending the

[27:03]time at the night reading all of a sudden i hear the

[27:05]gates open and i was surprised what is going on here he

[27:10]said i took a look a peek from my room i saw

[27:14]al muqaddah al ghabiri our teacher is walking towards the baree of

[27:20]amiwal muminis he said i saw him he said i followed him

[27:26]without making a noise i stood behind him he went next to

[27:30]the bariach and he started talking to the bariach i couldn't hear

[27:34]what he was saying and then all of the sudden i saw

[27:39]him leaving he left he went back so i followed him i

[27:44]followed him i followed him he said i saw him standing somewhere

[27:49]outside the city on the outskirts of the city of najaf he

[27:54]stopped right there as if he was waiting for someone and i

[27:58]was hiding behind him until i saw a man who had a

[28:03]face so shining so bright he came approached him they had a

[28:08]conversation then the man left and my master or my teacher muqaddah

[28:13]al al abdibeedi also started heading back he said i was also

[28:17]following him at one point i cuffed you know what a terrible

[28:22]time but he said i cuffed he said when i coughed he

[28:27]turned back he said who's there then i couldn't hide anymore so

[28:32]i came out i told him he said what are you doing

[28:35]here he said soggy my teacher but you know what i've been

[28:39]following you he said since when he said since you went into

[28:42]the shrine of imam aniyyah mummini he said what did you see

[28:48]he told him well this is what i saw he said can

[28:52]you please the student told muqaddas can you please tell me what

[29:02]to promise me that you won't tell anyone until i die he

[29:07]said i promise you and may god be my witness he said

[29:11]i was researching tonight i was researching and he said i came

[29:17]across some questions that i could not answer i didn't know how

[29:21]to answer these issues these islamic laws some questions he says so

[29:28]i thought to myself let me go to ami ibn muminee he

[29:31]will answer them for me so that's when i went and i

[29:35]found the gates of the shrine of the court of the haram

[29:38]opening i went inside and i said you ami ibn mumini this

[29:43]is your humble servant standing here and i have some questions that

[29:48]i thought about i researched but i could not find an answer

[29:51]can you guide me to the answer he said i heard a

[29:55]voice from the ba'i'ah telling me go to so and so place

[30:00]meet my son al mahdi al mutabar the imam and he will

[30:05]guide you he will tell you what to do so he said

[30:09]then i left and i came to the place you saw me

[30:13]and that's when i met imam al mahdi and he told me

[30:19]what the answers to these questions are and now i'm coming back

[30:24]so my dear brothers and my dear sisters they are under the

[30:27]guidance now how qumran knows best but imam al mahdi ordered us

[30:34]to follow grand scholars those jewish who alaihi basically have the ability

[30:41]to derive islamic laws from the holy quran and from the sunnah

[30:47]of rasulullah wasallam either a person becomes a faqi himself he gets

[30:53]the ability he studies and spends time to have the ability to

[30:56]derive islamic laws from the quran and the sunnah the tradition of

[31:01]the prophet and ahlul bayt and by the way they don't do

[31:05]it overnight some people they pick up the translation of the quran

[31:09]not even the quran the arabic text they pick up the translation

[31:13]and they read and they started giving laws you know you tell

[31:16]them what understanding do you have of the arabic language of the

[31:19]books of tafasir no the ayat akhleeb the ayat akhleeb why do

[31:24]we have mashaallah people who spend thirty years forty years of their

[31:27]lives doing interpretation of the holy quran allah it took him twenty

[31:34]years to write tasir al mizon twenty years and and by that

[31:38]time he was already mashaallah alim fatih a scholar twenty years things

[31:43]don't happen overnight so many lessons and things they study arabic the

[31:49]grammar of arabic traditions the ahadid the fiqh the jewish prudence akam

[31:54]and so much until they get to that ability so either a

[31:59]person becomes a fakir or becomes a muftab which is even difficult

[32:04]which means that you have to learn all the fatawah of the

[32:06]ulama and follow the most difficult ones of them or the easy

[32:10]way out is to follow one of them to follow ataqi so

[32:13]it is important for a person to recognize this dear brothers and

[32:16]my dear sisters now having understood this we come to the concept

[32:23]of the wilaayah of the mumineen allah has put for the over

[32:31]one another the verse that we recited every year 71 of surat

[32:36]al tawbah allah says the male believers and the female believers so

[32:44]here allah is talking about both of them because of the significance

[32:48]of this they are the masters of one another now what does

[32:55]it mean that they have masterhood over one another in this case

[33:00]now we know we've defined masterhood as what the three components shall

[33:05]i still remember them what are the three components recognition then what

[33:10]and love so in this context how is it that we can

[33:17]have the of the mumineen over one another now we said when

[33:22]it comes to allah when it comes to the massoom their is

[33:27]over everything we do in fact if a massoom tells a person

[33:31]you have to get married to so and so like we saw

[33:33]last night he has to get married to so and so he

[33:36]doesn't have a choice if the for example hypothetically if tells me

[33:42]come and cut my grass for example i have to go and

[33:45]cut his grass i can't i can't argue this is the of

[33:49]the over the okay now what about the of the mumineen over

[33:55]one another well we still have to recognize the mumineen we have

[34:00]to know who the mumineen are we have a duty to our

[34:03]best ability to recognize the mumineen and we have to try to

[34:11]obey the mummeen but in what sense not in the sense that

[34:14]oh come cut my grass for me or come and for example

[34:16]paint my house so you spent five days for example painting somebody's

[34:20]house and you say jazakallah thank you very much may allah bless

[34:23]you my reward allah will give you inshaallah which is much allah

[34:41]each other to obey allah that is the kind of obedience and

[34:45]hence allah says in the quran that those what do they do

[34:51]the first thing allah says they do now since we came to

[35:01]this topic i'd just like to quickly go over it my dear

[35:04]brothers and my dear sisters requires four conditions the first condition is

[35:13]that the person who does should know what is and what is

[35:19]can't have somebody for example who thinks i think this is the

[35:22]way things should be done no you have to know what is

[35:24]and what is i remember one day i was invited to do

[35:28]the talk some place and due to a technical difficulty it was

[35:33]a hole they put the brothers in the front the sisters in

[35:37]the back and the sisters mashaallah were all in hijab and covered

[35:43]one person stands up and starts saying no haram haram this cannot

[38:03]bani ummayah they had arrogance but this man had special arrogance too

[38:08]much one day before he even becomes the khalifa before he became

[38:12]the khalifa one day he went to visit al kaaba to do

[38:15]hajj so one night he decides to go and kiss hajj al

[38:19]aswad but there were so many people that he could not reach

[38:22]hajj aswad he told his guards go use force to make way

[38:27]for me to reach hajjag al aswah masha'allah what a great hajj

[38:32]is performing so they went they wanted to make way they couldn't

[38:37]masha'allah many people going around the kaaba doing pawaf remembering allah even

[38:44]the army could not do anything so he said you know what

[38:48]okay that's fine let's just sit down here he'll bring me a

[38:51]chair so let me sit down and when the crowd decreases i

[38:55]will go and kiss hajj at that moment when he sat down

[38:59]on his chair imam al sajjat ali ibn pasey comes as he

[39:04]comes people automatically they start making way for him when they see

[39:11]him coming they see this great humble man coming they automatically open

[39:17]the way he goes very easily kisses hajar al aswad and comes

[39:22]out hashan becomes furious me with my men could not reach hajj

[39:29]al aswad who is this man to reach hajj al aswad who

[39:32]is he now al farazdak who was a poet he actually was

[39:38]the poet of bani ummahiyah but he was standing next to hashan

[39:42]he became so upset at this comment he is trying to insult

[39:45]imam asajjad who is this man but he knows hashem is not

[39:49]a person whom you can do what he sit down and lectures

[39:53]him he knows this guy is useless there's no hope in him

[39:58]but he gives him a beautiful poem a beautiful poem he says

[40:51]he says this is the man who descends as he is walking

[40:57]on the sand the sand can recognize his step can recognize that

[41:02]this is ali yogan hussein walking over it the house this kaaba

[41:06]recognize him this kaaba can recognize him all those doing torah all

[41:12]those people those who are wearing the ikram those who are in

[41:14]the state of ikram and those who are not in the state

[41:16]of ikram they all recognize him he is the son of the

[41:20]greatest of god's creation he is the pure the cleansed one he

[41:26]is the son of fatima his grandfather was the seal of the

[41:30]prophets and when you say who is he don't you think you're

[41:35]insulting him indeed all the arabs and the non arabs know who

[41:39]he is he comes from a family who their love is their

[41:49]love is a religion the religion of allah is to love them

[41:53]i don't ask you for a reward but to be obedient and

[42:00]loving to my kin as came in the hadith and the people

[42:05]asked you rasulullah whose kin define my is it my meaning like

[42:10]us we i for example have a father and a mother and

[42:12]a cousin and a sibling he said no no no not you

[42:15]can my can me rasulullah to my to my progeny so their

[42:22]love is the religion their hate is exiting religion and to be

[42:30]close to them is the safety in dunya and the akhirah will

[42:34]save the individual he realized this is hushan so this is what

[42:38]he told him you cannot do to this guy so the person

[42:43]who does should know that you know it will affect this individual

[42:48]the third the person who's doing or not doing that should be

[42:53]insisting on it for example there are some people who pray they're

[42:57]fast but insist on listening to the music which is haram try

[43:03]to give them the words of admonishments but you know what what

[43:07]is this gonna benefit you in dunya and akhira on the day

[43:09]of qiyamah when allah asks you about this what are you going

[43:12]to say is it really worth it or a woman who does

[43:16]not wear hijab she prays she fasts but she does not wear

[43:19]the hijab tell her you know on the day of qiyamah when

[43:22]allah will ask you what will you say is it worth it

[43:26]so that is the third one to insist upon doing the munkah

[43:29]or not to do the mawwuf and fourth thing is that the

[43:33]person who's doing mawwuf and nayyad al munkah when he does so

[43:38]it should not kill him should not harm him in any ways

[43:41]individuals like a hajj ibn yusuf al takafi hajj ibn yusuf al

[43:45]takafi if you tell him to pray or to fast or to

[43:47]fear allah he will immediately separate your head from your body in

[43:51]fact the first day he came to become the governor of kufa

[43:55]the first day he gathered everybody in masjid al kufa everybody and

[43:59]he said listen let me take a look at you people i

[44:07]see heads that have matured and it is time for them to

[44:11]be separated from their bodies that's what i'm seeing right now that

[44:16]is how can you do a to this man so these are

[44:21]the condition but the mumineen they call each other for example if

[44:27]a person is going to the center call someone that's your relative

[44:32]tell him you're mumineen oh believer come with me i know it's

[44:37]sometimes you're watching this live you know here and there or you

[44:40]watched on tv it's good people who are sick people who can't

[44:43]make it it's good my brothers and sisters to come to the

[44:46]actual place is different have you heard of aroma therapy to come

[44:50]to the majalis of imam hussain alaihi salam is a therapy to

[44:53]the spirits to come to the majlis because the majlis inshaallah is

[44:57]buzzing by the angels who are doing for the who are attending

[45:02]it the people who are sitting here they're being showered by allah's

[45:06]blessings and allah's mercy so to attend inside these places and these

[45:10]majalis is extremely important that's why they ordered people follow us obey

[45:18]us come to our majalis conduct these majalis for us and they

[45:23]used to always encourage people to conduct the majalis and to attend

[45:27]the majalis so it's different so always try to be of such

[45:31]case so these mumineen and muminaat when they command each other to

[45:36]do good to stop the evil we should listen to each other

[45:39]we should not have the arrogance we should not say you know

[45:42]what i don't really care or whatever who are you to tell

[45:45]me this oh my brothers and sisters we should have the modesty

[45:49]the humbleness in our heart to work together and then we should

[45:54]love each other allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in the quran believers

[46:04]are like brothers and sisters they have this bond amongst them so

[46:10]they have this love they should care about one another how many

[46:14]of us in this dunya in this world care about the mumineen

[46:18]other parts of the world the prophet says one who wakes up

[46:28]in the morning and does not even care about the condition of

[46:30]the muslims he's not one of them we have to really care

[46:35]about the womanin worldwide what are they suffering what are they going

[46:39]through and to the best of our ability to help them whatever

[46:42]we can help them with i know one of them he says

[46:46]every morning because of this hadith he said every morning after i

[46:50]pray salatu surah i pray two raka'a salat and i asked allah

[46:54]subhanahu wa ta'ala by the barakah of these two raka'a to save

[46:58]the mumineen who are suffering worldwide he said this is the least

[47:01]i can do at least at least i can pray this two

[47:04]raka'at and demonstrate to my imam to my master and demonstrate to

[47:08]allah that oh my lord i am remembering the mumineen but this

[47:12]is for them imam al mahdi and a lot of his dua

[47:18]that he taught us if you read them he prays for the

[47:22]mumineen in one of the short duas he said he says oh

[48:11]my lord i ask you by all those who are worshiping you

[48:15]in the seas and on the land to bless muhammad wa'alee muhammad

[48:22]and to bless the mumineen who are poor and destitute with your

[48:29]wealth you allah and to bless those mumineen who are sick with

[48:33]the health you allah and to bless that living with your kindness

[48:38]and mercy you allah and to bless that deceased the dead ones

[48:44]with forgiveness and your mercy you allah and to bless those mumineen

[48:49]who are away from their homes to come back to their homes

[48:52]safely this is imam imam is praying telling us this is how

[48:56]you should remember your mumineen brothers and sisters at least read these

[49:00]duas remember them pray for them those who are in need if

[49:04]you can help them physically go help them physically a lot of

[49:08]go volunteer to help them you can help them financially you help

[49:13]them financially if you can at least pray for them make dua

[49:15]for them try to help each other brothers and sisters it is

[49:19]said about hundred thirty years ago there was an island in the

[49:24]city of isfahan in iran by the name of al fusharaki this

[49:28]island the governor of isfahan wrote a letter to the king of

[49:32]tehran the king of iran he said this island is causing a

[49:36]lot of problems there are many people who are coming and visiting

[49:39]him and they're really loving him he's becoming very popular in the

[49:42]city of isfahan i recommend that you bring him next to you

[49:45]in tehran get him out of isfahan so the king he orders

[49:52]that this fusharaki this islam comes to tahran he summons them to

[49:56]come so they bring him to tahran in tahran there were two

[50:00]scholars two fukaha two miraj at that time and most of the

[50:06]people of toran followed them they had differences of opinion you know

[50:11]sometimes there are minor differences of opinions among the fukaha differences for

[50:15]example you know just to give you an example of the minor

[50:17]differences at the time of hajj when people put on their ihram

[50:21]at the miqat the place just outside the haram they put on

[50:26]their haram some of the fuquaah say that even if it were

[50:31]at night if you are in the state of haram you cannot

[50:34]travel in a car that is covered you have to travel in

[50:38]something that is open convertible convertible bus convertible car whatever it is

[50:44]has to be open other fukaha say no it's fine you can't

[50:48]travel in something that is covered if it is at night so

[50:50]these are minor differences sometimes you have between the fukaha minor issues

[50:55]so those two fukaha had some minor differences one night one of

[51:01]those fukaha's door got knocked his servant opened the door and who

[51:06]he finds he finds the other fakid the other alam he rushes

[51:11]he says this other alam is at the door he says make

[51:14]him come in so he came in he said did you hear

[51:19]what happened to fusharaki he said yes he said you know they

[51:22]summoned him to come here to tehran he said yes he said

[51:25]if we keep quiet tomorrow they'll summon us to go elsewhere we

[51:30]have to act we have to stop this you know that tehran

[51:34]is divided between you and i we have control over the city

[51:38]so he said what do you recommend doing he said i've been

[51:41]thinking about it i think what you should do is what we

[51:44]should do is tomorrow we issue a statement to all our followers

[51:49]that tomorrow we want you all to close your shops go outside

[51:55]of quran where fusharaki is coming from and you welcome him you

[51:59]do a mass welcome to fusharaki and you and i had the

[52:03]delegation we had the crowd he said that's a good idea we'll

[52:08]do that so indeed the next day they set out that everybody

[52:13]has to close their shops and go to welcome the foshariki so

[52:17]this king was sitting down and he's seeing all these masses thousands

[52:22]if not millions of people are walking towards this entrance of the

[52:27]city of tehran to welcome this aliyah he turned to his minister

[52:31]asad al alam he said what do you commit what should we

[52:34]do look at this chaos he said i think what you should

[52:39]do is the following you join them he said join them he

[52:42]said yes go with them when the fushariki comes you tell him

[52:46]ahlan wasehala welcome please come to our place let us serve you

[52:50]let us help you in any way he said do you think

[52:53]he said yes this is the best thing we do i said

[52:56]okay let's go so they go they join the crowd they join

[52:59]the crowd they welcome the feshawakhi at the entrance of the city

[53:03]of quran then this king says welcome what brought you here to

[53:10]tehran he said you brought me over to tehran said me he

[53:16]said yes you are glad to your governor anasfahan told me that

[53:19]you have summoned me to come here he said he's a liar

[53:22]what a liar he is please come to my place we'll welcome

[53:26]you we'll respect you we'll take care of you during your stay

[53:30]in tehran whenever you're done you can you're done more than welcome

[53:32]to go back to isfahan he said in that case i don't

[53:35]want to stay at your place i have some mumineen who can

[53:39]i can stay at their place and indeed he stayed at their

[53:42]place for a few days and then went back so the whole

[53:45]plot failed why because of the cooperation the unity of the mumineen

[53:51]now in this day and age how much unity do we have

[53:54]between the mummini you know what simple matters simple matters to important

[54:00]matters you know you find two people shopping in a home if

[54:04]they find a deal a discount they say don't tell anybody don't

[54:07]tell anyone don't tell let's keep it secret private after there is

[54:12]millions of items no no no we should not tell them about

[54:15]this this is from the insignificant matters to issues where mummeneen are

[54:21]dying and no one is saying a word no one is mentioning

[54:24]anything and there are other groups if a person of them sneezes

[54:28]or gets scratched you'll see the headlines headlines all over the world

[54:33]where are we where's the mummeneen where are they how can we

[54:37]live together like this if you read in the azariah the ziyarat

[54:43]of ahlul bayt they actually tell us about the significance of the

[54:46]wilaiah of the mumineen what do we say i am peaceful to

[54:59]those who are peaceful to you i am in war at for

[55:03]those with those who are at war with you and i am

[55:07]a wadi a master for those who take you as masters and

[55:13]i'm also not just a master but i'm also a servant helping

[55:17]those individuals and ziyarat amin allah ziyarat amin allah is a beautiful

[55:23]ziyarat don't have time to talk to you about the beautiful way

[55:26]it was narrated but i'll just tell you this it is said

[55:29]by imam al baqir whenever you visit any of us read because

[55:36]allah will take you which is the of imam alaihi salam read

[55:41]that at any of the any of the allah will take you

[55:46]and elevate it and he will put it on a plate of

[55:50]of noon and gift it to imam al madi so he will

[55:55]actually read that he will get that ziyah of yours so at

[56:00]the end of that ziyah the last paragraph the imam teaches us

[56:04]imam al sajat taught us the ziyatah he says o allah forgive

[56:11]those who take us as their masters and in dua al iftita

[56:19]imam al mahdi what does he teach us he says allah oh

[56:29]my lord we complain to you the absence of our beloved prophet

[56:35]our prophet and the occultation of our imam our our our and

[56:41]dua an nudbah imam al sajad imam al mandi he teaches us

[56:47]is there anyone who can help me to mourn and cry and

[57:05]weep for my imam al mahdi i wanna cry for his absence

[57:11]is there any i that is crying for my master i will

[57:14]come and assist it in the crying you see how all this

[57:18]concept of being together is mentioned by our imam we have to

[57:24]be like one camp brothers and sisters like a party you know

[57:28]sometimes in some parts of the world there are nominations for the

[57:32]head of the party so within the party you'll have people for

[57:35]example each one seeking the nomination to become the head of the

[57:38]party once a person is chosen then you find this whole party

[57:43]uniting behind that individual to what to have an elected in office

[57:47]so they work together now they might have differences among themselves but

[57:51]they try to at least work together to make their leader now

[57:54]getting elected we have the same responsibility brothers and sisters towards allah

[58:00]they have to work together as one unit one party and when

[58:05]we do so then inshallah our imam will be pleased with us

[58:09]brothers and sisters allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says whatever we do everything

[58:18]you do in this dunya rasulullah allah will of course is witnessing

[58:23]it the prophet the messenger is witnessing it and the mumineen who

[58:28]are these mumineen are the imams of our time peace be upon

[58:31]them the imams alaihi musallam imam al mahdi receives a document with

[58:35]our amman every single week he goes through it when he finds

[58:39]his followers are doing actions that obey allah he gets pleased have

[58:46]you seen a father when he goes to see you know the

[58:49]parent teacher night you know they have in some some schools they

[58:52]have the parent teacher night some parents they go meet the teacher

[58:55]they tell the teacher tells the parent your son mashaallah your daughter

[58:58]are excellent you know straight a's polite good people so see the

[59:04]joy on the parents face you know they become very proud know

[59:07]this is my son know mashaallah or my daughter this is the

[59:09]way i raised them that's good but what if they tell them

[59:12]that your son is terrible terrible he does not listen he skips

[59:17]school he's impolite you see how they become heartbroken imam nassir when

[59:25]he sees us following his path the path of allah he becomes

[59:31]proud when he finds that we are disobeying allah he becomes disheartened

[59:38]brothers and sisters do you want to please your imam or you

[59:41]want to dishearten your imam think about your actions think about the

[59:46]things we're doing and let us kind of recalculate our life and

[59:53]let us think as how can i best serve the imam such

[59:56]that he becomes proud of me so my dear brothers and my

[60:01]dear sisters that is our duty towards our mumineen and this is

[60:05]the wirayah of the mumineen we have to recognize the mummini worldwide

[60:10]one year many mummini there was an earthquake in one part of

[60:13]the world where many mummini many followers of al bayt lived there

[60:16]and it was in the december they lived in tents not even

[60:22]tents they did not have anything in the december no one made

[60:26]a word no one did much much things few people few individuals

[60:30]maybe came to their rescue and we don't even think about them

[60:34]we have to recognize those mumminin where are they how can we

[60:38]help them best we have to love for them what we love

[60:41]for ourselves we have to try to obey each other and encourage

[60:45]each other to obey allah subhanahu wa ta'ala we have to love

[60:49]our brothers and sisters there won't be any and you'll find my

[60:53]dear brothers and my dear sisters al qasim ibn al hasid he

[60:58]had this love towards his family members towards his brothers and towards

[61:03]his uncle he had that submission to his uncle he had that

[61:08]care for him on the way to karbala it is said that

[61:12]qasim was only about 12 or 11 year olds you know at

[61:16]the time of the battle he was very young his uncle imam

[61:21]hussein asked him he said oh my dear nephew what do you

[61:26]think about death my uncle if it's in the path in your

[61:39]way to support you which is supporting the cause of allah it

[61:44]is sweeter than honey allah says look at this teaching this 11

[61:48]year old or 12 year old has today if you talk to

[61:53]our 11 year olds they tell you psp the playstation and mashaallah

[61:57]playboy and this is what it is everything they will name every

[62:07]how many children he has what car he drives all that information

[62:28]alhamdulillah now that's unfortunately the status but look at this boy this

[62:33]is how much love he has to his uncle to his fellow

[62:37]mummini and then on the day of ashura my dear brothers and

[62:40]my dear sisters after the march with them of aliyeon al akbar

[62:45]when ali akbar who was the son of imam hussein gets martyred

[62:50]imam hussein starts looking around to see who is there who else

[62:55]is there to help her who is there to benefit from this

[62:59]great service to allah this great service to al bayt he looks

[63:04]and then he finds this young man this 11 12 year old

[63:08]coming out of the tent al qasim ibn al hassan walking slowly

[63:13]towards his uncle with all dignity and respect he said oh my

[63:27]uncle give me the permission to go and fight those enemies of

[63:34]allah imam al hassan when he looked imam al hussain when he

[63:39]looked at qasim ibn al hassan he hugged him he cried he

[63:45]said o my son your father gave you to me as a

[63:50]trust as an amana and every time i look at you remember

[63:55]my brother imam al al hassan every time i see you i

[64:01]remember my beloved brother imam al hassan and imam al hussain grew

[64:06]up together brothers and sisters that's why the loss of imam al

[64:08]hassan was very painful to imam al hussain they grew up together

[64:12]they're only six months apart age wise so it was very difficult

[64:18]and now when he's looking at the son of imam al hassan

[64:21]he's as if he's looking at his brother he used to hug

[64:23]him smell him he says in you i find the smell of

[64:26]my brother imam al hassan he said now that you want to

[64:31]leave me i cannot see you getting killed by the enemies of

[64:35]allah he said but my dear uncle i want to support you

[64:40]and i want to make my father imam al hassan proud of

[64:44]me on the day of qiyamah and i want to make my

[64:47]mother ramla proud of me on the day of qiyamah and i

[64:53]want to be with you and my dear cousin ali al akbar

[64:56]with my grandfather rasulullah then imam al hussein said okay my nephew

[65:07]come with me he went he opened the box from which he

[65:11]took out the turban of imam al hassan the sword of imam

[65:15]al hassan the cloak of imam al hassan the armor of imam

[65:19]al hassan he said my dear nephew wear these for they belong

[65:23]to your father imam al hassan alaihi salaam he wore them all

[65:29]and then he went to fight in the battlefield calling very proud

[65:34]proudly hassan is the grandson of rasulullah this is my uncle hussain

[66:16]is like a prisoner amongst you haddaf hussein amongst people who may

[66:24]allah never give them the rain and the drop of rain to

[66:27]bless their lives with he fought very bravely and imam al hussein

[66:34]was looking at him the whole time imam al hussein then mounted

[66:39]his horse waiting for the call of this child this child it

[66:43]is said fought very bravely he killed a few of the enemies

[66:48]until one man said i am going to kill him and make

[66:52]his uncle hossein feel the pain of losing this nephew of his

[66:57]this man's brother who says don't touch him look at this young

[67:01]boy my god if he comes to touch me and to kill

[67:04]me and kill all my children i would not dare to kill

[67:07]him look what a shining face he's got it's resembling his grandfather

[67:15]he said no i'm going to kill him then he ran after

[67:19]him muslim who was narrating the affairs of the battle he said

[67:25]as hassan was fighting one of his sandals broke off his shoe

[67:30]his foot he said and i remember it was the left sandal

[67:34]so he wanted to fix it as he was fixing it this

[67:38]enemy of allah comes to him he struck him on his head

[67:44]at that moment he turned he said oh my uncle i bid

[67:57]my farewell to you imam al hussein rushed to him he killed

[68:02]his murderer then he sat next to him he put his head

[68:06]onto his lap complain to your grandmother father complain to your father

[68:51]imam al hassan and give them all my salaam and tell them

[68:56]i shall be joining them shortly for i surely have missed them

[69:00]all and then when he died right between the hands of his

[69:05]uncle he carried him back to the tent when they heard him

[69:38]when they coming zainab came and she started shouting then it is

[69:50]said his mother came from there and she stood by her by

[69:54]her son she told him oh my son i never thought of

[69:58]a day that will come when i see you dead before me

[70:01]i thought that one day i will die and you'll take care

[70:04]of my burial she started crying brothers and sisters raise your hand

[71:05]for the dua it is the eve of friday with these tears

[71:13]in the eyes with these broken hearts turn to allah may allah

[71:17]fulfill our needs and make us with muhammad
