[0:05]foreign [Music] economy [Music] foreign [Music] and tonight if Allah gives us

[2:01]Tau fear we will be discussing verses number 17.

[2:02]2 20.

[2:05]in the earlier verses that we discussed we were talking about or

[2:13]Allah was telling us about some of the signs signs in the

[2:16]universe as well as signs within us as we read in another

[2:22]Ayah in the Quran where Allah says we will show them our

[2:24]signs in the universe and in themselves within themselves so these are

[2:31]the signs and Allah spoke to us about the Earth about the

[2:39]mountains and then about how he created the humans and pairs and

[2:43]then Allah spoke about the sleep the night the day the rain

[2:52]and the benefits of the rain and so on so forth these

[2:57]are all signs from Allah now when we take a look at

[3:05]all these signs Allah is trying to tell us all human when

[3:08]you take a look at all this universe and you take a

[3:13]look at yourself you will come to one conclusion it is impossible

[3:18]that all this came through a coincidence without a designer without a

[3:25]planner without a maker rather there must have been someone or some

[3:32]deity that created all this planned all this with purpose now once

[3:41]there is a purpose to all this then the human being will

[3:46]start to reflect well what is the purpose for all this so

[3:49]then we start inquiring you start asking to help us with those

[3:57]inquiries Allah sent us Prophets by intuition we can recognize the existence

[4:04]of a creator of an acre that's what the Quran refers to

[4:10]us that's that intuition that Allah has put the inherent ability within

[4:18]every human being who uses his intellect to deduce through logical deduction

[4:27]the existence of a creator but then what does that Creator want

[4:33]of us that we need help with because our human intellect cannot

[4:39]have that abilities so Allah then AIDS us helps us by sending

[4:44]the prophets you see if you remember a few days ago when

[4:50]we started our discussion about Surah if you remember back in those

[4:53]days I mentioned one thing unique in the religion of Islam especially

[5:00]the madhub of Allah is that our solid Deen the roots of

[5:05]our religion meaning what identifies us as Muslims can all be proven

[5:11]through logic and reason and they all what they say make sense

[5:14]so once you prove that there is a Creator there is a

[5:18]maker and over the past few nights we've discussed this several times

[5:21]so I will not get back into it again but once you

[5:26]prove that there is a maker then the next logical question is

[5:28]what does he want of me why did he create me so

[5:32]then he sent me Prophets that's why then our belief in prophets

[5:36]comes also as a logical deduction after our belief in his existence

[5:44]so then we come to the prophets so the prophets come to

[5:48]teach guide us that he wants you to worship him well how

[5:52]do I worship him what do I do the prophets then teach

[5:55]us that we are unable to deduce on our own our human

[6:00]intellect cannot teach us this how does he want to work me

[6:04]to worship him there is no way through my intellect to figure

[6:06]out that he wants me to fast the month of Ramadan there's

[6:11]no way no way for me my human intellect alone to recognize

[6:14]that he wants me to pray five times a day at specific

[6:18]times in the day for that we have to have a prophet

[6:22]a messenger Messengers and Prophets and guides who would come and teach

[6:26]us all these details and so that's why we believe in these

[6:28]prophets and these Messengers because they're guiding us they're teaching us they're

[6:34]instructing us they have to be perfect themselves they have to be

[6:39]individuals who practice what they preach imagine you have someone who's telling

[6:44]you be kind pray to Allah he himself doesn't pray for example

[6:47]would you believe such an individual would he have much an impact

[6:51]on you of course not so in fact live alone a Divine

[6:58]being who's teaching us religion a medical doctor you know some of

[7:01]you may have experience sometimes you might go to a physician he

[7:06]misdiagnosis you go back to him again a second time maybe he

[7:10]again misdiagnoses after a couple misdiagnosis you say you know what I

[7:15]don't want to see this physician again why not I mean okay

[7:17]maybe he's a human being at the end of the day he

[7:20]may just forget it this guy doesn't know what he's talking about

[7:22]you lost your trust in a physician who's diagnosing an illness he's

[7:30]not saying I am from Allah I am Divine I'm receiving and

[7:33]water nothing but tell us you don't trust this guy anymore so

[7:37]imagine if a prophet someone comes to you as a prophet of

[7:42]Allah says I am from Allah Allah sent me I am here

[7:46]to guide you and then for example God forbid he lies He

[7:51]Cheats you know obviously we're not going to trust such an individual

[7:55]anymore or even he forgets so if he forgets then what else

[8:00]has he forgotten did he forget also some other messages again your

[8:04]trust in such an individual would start to shake that's why Again

[8:08]Naturally logically we did not use any Ayah from the Quran any

[8:15]Hadith from the prophet Allah the MBR the prophets and those who

[8:20]are guiding us the guides have to be muscle mean they have

[8:24]to be impeccable they are representing Allah Allah is the complete perfection

[8:32]so they have to be example of the greatness of Allah subhanahu

[8:39]wa ta'ala not they are like Allah but when we look at

[8:44]them if they are so great we say subhanallah then how great

[8:46]is he glorified be he the greatest of the creators so they

[8:56]have to be perfect they have to be perfect divine okay so

[9:02]they teach us we pray we fast they teach us be good

[9:05]be nice so on so forth then what if I don't be

[9:12]nice if I don't be good if I cheat if I lie

[9:15]what's the difference why should I be good why do I have

[9:20]to be good they say well in the Dunya it's beneficial okay

[9:22]well I don't care about Dunya you know I see other people's

[9:25]lying cheating whatever they have mashallah living like billionaires and some of

[9:30]them become presidents of countries masha'allah and they have really good life

[9:34]so why should I be honest say there has to be accountability

[9:40]there is going to be an accountability and therefore you need to

[9:45]be honest and the analogy I gave if you remember a few

[9:47]weeks ago or a few days ago the taxman you guys have

[9:53]the taxman now coming after your doors these days pretty shortly because

[9:57]you know there's a tax man all masha'allah your accounts are very

[10:04]well put together they're all organized because there's accountability if the tax

[10:08]man comes and says show me the records and you're a business

[10:13]person for example if you don't show him the records then there

[10:16]might be a fine it could be our accountability if however you

[10:20]know there is no accountability then you don't care yeah okay let

[10:24]me cheat the system who cares but people are afraid because of

[10:27]accountability when you're driving if you're not worried about maybe some policeman

[10:33]hiding somewhere with a camera if there's no accountability people would speed

[10:39]any way they want they don't care but because there's accountability so

[10:43]naturally Again by intuition we as human beings recognize and realize when

[10:48]there is accountability we become a bit more serious about implementing the

[10:54]rules that's how we work as human beings similarly when you do

[11:01]deeds in Dunya there has to be accountability interestingly there was a

[11:06]study done by the University of Oregon some researchers at the University

[11:11]of Oregon in the state of Washington in Oregon Oregon state in

[11:17]the United States they showed that societies that believe in a day

[11:25]of judgment are more disciplined as a society than those who do

[11:29]not believe in a day of judgment so as a society you

[11:35]know when they believe there's a day of judgment the whole society

[11:38]in general in general have more discipline than the society that does

[11:43]not believe in a day of judgment when they do the census

[11:45]for example and majority say we don't believe in a day of

[11:50]judgment such a society does not really is not as disciplined because

[11:53]there's no accountability who cares then okay so that's why again logically

[11:59]then we can come to the conclusion there has to be a

[12:00]day of judgment a day of accountability and so this is where

[12:08]the ayat of Surat Now take us Allah spoke of his science

[12:12]to tell us that there is a Creator there is a maker

[12:17]and when we when he made all this there is a purpose

[12:23]for it this purpose is so that you attain his pleasure and

[12:27]the benefit is for you not for him he does not need

[12:32]it but you benefit then he transitions once he basically gave us

[12:36]all these signs now the ayat in verses 17 to 20 Allah

[12:41]talks about the accountability Allah says about the day of judgment now

[12:48]he switches he says surely the day of fossil FAS means segregation

[12:55]the day of segregation as a predetermined time and Hajj and Hajj

[13:03]those of you who inshallah go to Hajj if you haven't been

[13:05]there in Hajj if you have you know that before you enter

[13:11]the Haram before you enter the Haram There Are Places called me

[13:20]at is a designated place where you have to stop and enter

[13:27]the state of ehram as they say before entering into the Haram

[13:33]the Haram is greater than Mecca it's bigger than Mecca McKay is

[13:38]inside the Haram but there are any thoughts so for example a

[13:42]lot of you meaning may go to Mecca from Medina so you

[13:48]have a Miracles you know AKA you know so that's where you

[13:55]stop and become enter the state of Iran before entering Mecca because

[14:02]it's a designated place that you have to stop at before entering

[14:08]the Haram the Haram has a sanctity sacredness you cannot enter it

[14:15]without being in a state of some sacredness so Allah refers to

[14:22]the day of judgment as my God because it's a designated time

[14:25]we don't know what the time is and Allah kept it ambiguous

[14:32]for us so that we are constantly prepared otherwise if he had

[14:40]revealed the time people would say oh it's like a thousand years

[14:42]from now alas I have plenty of time I don't have to

[14:47]worry about it you never know it can be tomorrow Allah Allah

[14:50]chooses Allah chooses it's not up to us so he kept it

[14:55]ambiguous the analogy to this is like a professor coming to the

[15:00]class on the first day of University and in the school and

[15:02]he says in the semester that guys you have your midterm exam

[15:06]on so and so date and you have your final exam on

[15:08]so and so date in the middle there will be three quizzes

[15:13]and I will not reveal the dates of these quizzes so then

[15:17]what happens the students have to constantly be ready because the quiz

[15:20]could be any day they don't know when the quizzes so they're

[15:25]always on guard because they're worried that he comes in and says

[15:33]constantly being prepared and that's the analogy Allah wants us to be

[15:38]constantly prepared he'll first do it as a day of segregation things

[17:37]people he had to innovate certain rules certain laws he comes up

[17:42]with them for example he came to the people and said people

[17:59]the mother of the Believers es um that there his wives mean

[18:10]what means you cannot marry them that's what really the whole essence

[18:16]of the mother of the believer that's it it's a title given

[18:18]to them because if you read the ayat in Surah Allah says

[18:25]you are not allowed to marry the wives of rasulullah this is

[18:30]some Hokum specifically for rasulallah for the dignity or Dignity of rasulullah

[18:34]for the sacredness this is Allah that applies only to him there

[18:44]them his wives cannot get remarried so therefore they are like your

[18:49]mothers just like you cannot marry your mother you cannot marry the

[19:00]an analogy Allah is giving us an analogy they are like your

[19:08]mothers so he said people my sister is um that makes me

[19:18]Believers since when do we have Uncle of the Believers and Aunt

[19:20]of the Believers and the grandfather of the Believers and grandmother but

[19:25]he comes up and you know there was a saying in in

[19:41]people of Shan who became Muslim if you know during the time

[19:43]of the second Khalifa that's when sham was conquered and it fell

[19:47]under the umbrella of Islam so most of these people had not

[19:50]met rasool Allah he comes to them and says [Music] he's now

[20:08]the uncle of the Believers married to his sister this man is

[24:01]point they killed him read the history why he was why did

[24:08]he die how did he die this is how he died they

[24:11]beat him up ulama book of like I told you one of

[24:21]the six books is so then they say and then they they

[24:23]just beat him up to the point where he died because of

[24:28]this this is how America people manipulate others they start introducing first

[24:35]of all they have desires but to accomplish their desires and serve

[24:40]their desires they start manipulating the religion then he says certain groups

[24:47]start to be taking power over another group of people those who

[24:51]have the desires the leaders leaders in Mischief try to manipulate those

[24:58]who don't have much knowledge okay then he says the following he

[25:04]says if the truth was clear if the truth the haq was

[25:09]clear yeah and you have something and says it's labeled truth and

[25:12]the falsehood is also labeled falsehood he says then there would not

[25:18]be any dispute amongst people because it's all labeled clearly he says

[25:22]however what happens the way Allah out of his wisdom when he

[25:26]created this Dunya is the truth and the false said sometimes are

[25:30]mixed together yeah neither the false does not have a label on

[25:33]his forehead I am falsehood and the truth has a label I

[25:38]am truth so then he says that's when people get confused so

[25:42]that's where we have to pray to Allah to keep us and

[25:48]to be able to distinguish because sometimes like this man who came

[29:25]a confusion in the ummah in the followers so that's why brothers

[32:58]back from nothing subhanallah Allah is capable of doing everything when he

[33:12]commands something to happen it happens and the so he doesn't have

[33:31]to say Kun fire cone anyways so everything everyone will be in

[35:38]it it has no life and shortly it will become cold and

[35:42]so there are certain rituals to be performed on this body after

[36:52]scared and respond tell them Allah and if they ask you about

[36:57]your Prophet tell them and if they ask you about your book

[37:05]tell them if they ask you about your tablet and if they

[37:11]ask you about your religion tell them and if they ask you

[37:16]about your imams tell them Imam and so on so forth Allah

[37:27]so why do we tell him this we're trying to remind him

[37:31]reminding him this is like you know someone before you go into

[37:35]the test have you seen some people before the test they open

[37:37]up and they quickly try to review this is analogy just as

[37:42]an analogy this is now before his test his final test and

[37:44]this is the biggest test bat of life this is the Eternal

[37:50]test we're trying to remind him don't worry about it this is

[37:53]what you answer this is how you say things it is said

[40:41]can hear me and if Allah gives them the permission to answer

[40:47]back they will tell you in [Music] the best preparation you can

[40:58]have in this journey is it's a reality inevitable because once they

[41:11]put us in that cup over there then you'll realize this Dunya

[41:15]was not worth it it was worthless someone did not pay the

[41:25]whole the homes for example he says I wish I had paid

[41:28]it now I realize somewhat disrespected his parents or her parents he

[41:33]says I wish I had not done so I wish I had

[41:38]listened to them someone did not for example obey Allah with all

[41:42]the rulings don't think that even a tiny little bit say I

[41:47]am alhamdulillah a good person yes you'll be rewarded for your goodness

[41:50]but Allah is not going to let go the other things as

[41:51]well you say Allah you say yes but Allah he's also just

[41:57]yeah and you have someone for example who's a good mom I

[42:01]mean and she's been wearing her hijab her whole life and she's

[42:03]a good person versus someone who is a good lady a good

[42:07]person but doesn't work hijab you think they'll be judged equally it's

[42:11]not fair Allah will judge equally he'll judge fairly so he'll judge

[42:17]this lady and give her her award this one says you did

[42:21]good things so we'll give you all the credit for these but

[42:23]the hijab you did not wear so it's time to to pay

[42:26]for it I have to pay for this so there will be

[42:31]punishment Allah is fair Allah is fair and whatever argument you give

[42:37]back Allah will counter the argument you say Arabi I was you

[42:40]know homes was too much money say well look Allah will bring

[42:45]you someone Allah will bring somebody he said look he was a

[42:47]millionaire and he paid his homes you you were not as rich

[42:52]as him so what's your excuse me Ya Allah you did not

[43:52]now no excuse subhanallah whatever argument comes to your mind yeah and

[43:56]you can be playing games with Allah Allah will answer you because

[44:03]no excuse so it's better that we prepare from now from now

[44:07]you prepare for that time I know the Knights of Qatar are

[44:13]over but the holy month of Ramadan is not over yet foreign

[45:58]were not youthful people they were senior people they were strong in

[46:07]we increase in their guidance Iman you do the struggle you initiate

[46:26]can wake up he gives you opportunities like the day of hadir

[46:28]so that you wake up he gives the opportunities like Ashura so

[46:35]you wake up but then if someone doesn't wake up Allah tells

[46:40]them it's your fault we'll finish with this one in the Holy

[46:49]Quran in the Holy Quran Allah mentions the death of two prophets

[46:53]only two Prophets Jacob and Suleiman and Suleiman in another Surah where

[47:08]Allah where Allah asks them about their death Allah mentions the time

[47:22]of their death interestingly Allah says when the death Came Upon him

[47:25]he called his sons and he told them sons are you on

[47:29]the faith of my forefathers they said yes we are following the

[47:35]religion of your forefathers Ibrahim Ismail and his heart interestingly those two

[47:45]prophets and this is my deduction why would Allah mention the death

[47:48]of only these two Prophets the first one had how many sons

[47:55]you should know no 12 yeah 12 sons eleven well plus Yusuf

[48:02]that's why you get confused one of them had 12 sons that's

[48:13]Yahoo the other one had a kingdom that had never seen before

[48:16]him power money wealth the ins and the Jinn and the animals

[48:22]were working for him Allah it's like Allah is telling us your

[48:34]sons you have 12 sons they will not be able to guard

[48:39]you against death death will come to you even if you have

[48:41]12 sons and even if you have the power if you have

[48:48]the kingdom of Suleiman still you cannot stop that it is narrated

[48:52]that Sulaiman told the Jinn to build him a chamber a chamber

[49:00]so high from which he can see the whole Kingdom so they

[49:06]did they built him the chamber the Jinn built him the chamber

[49:09]once the chamber was built he told them I don't want anyone

[49:15]to enter I'm gonna go in the chamber and no entry forbidden

[49:18]for anyone until I give you permission he went inside this chamber

[49:26]the doors are closed unlocked and he was leaning against his stick

[49:33]and looking from the glass windows over his kingdom someone comes he

[49:41]says how could you come I gave strict permission you know instructions

[49:46]nobody is allowed to enter he said yes yes except me he

[49:51]said who are you said I am the angel of death foreign

[50:05]death will come upon you even if you are in well-guarded Tower

[50:09]subhanallah Allah may be hinting to us here is a well-guarded tower

[50:16]he says to him you're coming to visit me because my local

[50:24]mot used to visit the prophet sometimes he comes to visit them

[50:27]so said you're coming here to visit me or to take my

[50:33]soul he said no I've come to take your soul so why

[50:36]don't you tell me you know give me some heads up notice

[50:40]he said Suleiman I did I said when you know you're checking

[50:45]messages here no nothing on WhatsApp nothing on text messaging email no

[50:49]voicemail nothing he says Suleiman where is your father dawood he said

[50:58]he died where is your mother she died where is your son

[51:04]Suleiman had a son who died in his lifetime he lost his

[51:07]son hey where's your son he died he said so how many

[51:13]messages do you want yasuleiman your father died your mother died your

[51:18]son died then what did you expect I sent you many messages

[51:27]yasuleiman now it's your turn and Quran then tells us Allah took

[51:33]his soul while he is leaning against his stick because he had

[51:37]given strict instructions no one is to enter the chamber so that

[51:41]Jinn would see him from below from down they see him standing

[51:45]there looking no one is allowed it is set for one year

[51:48]one year the kingdom was running with him just looking at the

[51:58]window until Allah sends a tiny termite small organism to start chewing

[52:05]on his stick and then when he collapsed Allah says that Jinn

[52:13]realized how ignorant they are the Jinn thought they were all knowing

[52:18]animasha'allah because they're so powerful the Jinn then they realized the whole

[52:22]Eve had gone by and Suleiman had been dead and they are

[52:26]unaware of it so brothers and sisters this is a lesson for

[52:32]us are we ready so let's prepare for the afternoon genuine repentance

[52:43]and make sure that you implement the rules of Allah whatever he

[52:48]asked of you do it Haram stay away from it religion is

[52:52]not the way we like it it's the way he likes it

[52:57]the way he dictates it not the way we want it otherwise

[53:00]this is not the religion of Allah because religion Allah and the

[53:03]religion is so easy to implement brothers and sisters that's why we

[53:07]have a term means what means easy to implement and Allah says

[53:18]Allah wants to make your life easy not difficult you have to

[53:25]pay for Quran is free but if someone wants to listen to

[53:32]music you have to download for them and you got to pay

[53:34]for them or attend concerts and pay for it Salat is free

[53:40]soyam is free you gotta pay you pay and you go to

[53:51]Johanna what a terrible business Jannah is free go for the free

[53:59]and even from a business-minded perspective go for the free stuff and

[54:03]end up in general eternity although they don't discuss to us in

[54:09]Surah about this journey in death and belzach but I thought we

[54:14]should touch upon it and then tomorrow insha Allah will continue discussing

[54:18]about them briefly and then we'll go on to the next ayat

[54:21]where Allah talks about jahannam and then over the next couple of

[54:28]nights we'll talk about Jannah because Allah first starts and then he

[54:32]talks about and the beauties of Jannah so we'll discuss those and

[54:38]then shall Allah if Allah gives us by Thursday which will be

[54:43]the last night insha Allah for our discussion we'll try to finish

[54:47]again this is a very brief discussion of the Surah otherwise if

[54:52]we really wanted to go into detail it would have taken us

[54:54]months to discuss but at least now insha Allah by the end

[55:00]of the series on Thursday insha Allah when you pick up and

[55:03]you read it you will have some understanding of what the ayat

[55:09]are talking about what does Allah trying to teach us and admonish

[55:12]us about so brothers and sisters these last few nights in the

[55:17]holy month of Ramadan sees the opportunity we have about five six

[55:21]nights left give or take don't give up hope try to aim

[55:28]for Jannah but you got to put in the effort it's a

[55:30]free but you have to work for it a little bit raise

[55:34]your hands in the Dua we ask Allah to make us among

[55:40]the people of Jannah may Allah fulfill the hijab [Music] us about

[55:52]them some of them are in the hospitals undergoing certain procedures may

[55:58]Allah grant them a quick and complete recovery insha Allah oh Allah

[56:03]the straight path and make us among those whom you are pleased

[56:10]with Ya Allah forgive us if you have not forgiven us thus

[56:12]far yeah Allah as of tonight as of this moment make us

[56:17]among the people of Jannah and release us from the Hellfire Allah

[56:22]keep us among the ranks of our Imam make us among his

[56:36]Shia and his companions and supporters all right
