[0:20]Before we begin, also for the continued success of all the volunteers
[0:27]who spent spent hours and hours looking after the parking lot, after
[0:35]the kitchen, preparing the food, cleaning this place, looking after the children
[0:39]and all those volunteers who may Allah bless them are working behind
[0:45]the scene.
[0:44]We don't even see them.
[0:47]Some of us may not even recognize who they are for their
[0:50]inshallah continued success, long life and health and continued iman.
[0:55]Please recite aloudham and for the of all the of these volunteers
[1:08]as well.
[1:08]My brothers and sisters, let's recite for God.
[1:52]Allahhammed.
[1:59]Alhamdulillah.
[2:22]Muhammad Muhammad.
[3:08]assalamu.
[3:32]Shahan Allah foreign.
[4:32]This is ayah number 10 of surah As we continue our discussion
[4:39]about these ayats, you can see several of these ayat in their
[4:45]hidden meaning refer to im refer to imi when that news came
[4:56]to the prophet especially in that second narration that we gave and
[4:59]the second reason for the revelation of this ayah the prophet sallallahu
[5:04]alaihi called Im Ali and told him to go investigate because he
[5:08]was the man of the challenges.
[5:11]When there is a challenge upon the Muslims would call and he
[5:20]would send him in the battle of when the prophet was left
[5:25]all alone and all the Muslims ran away except for Im Ali
[5:32]the mushri they said let's kill so they started sending groups groups
[5:40]of armies one group after another and the prophet would call yah
[5:45]Ali push this group away from me and Imm Ali would go
[5:47]and would fight that group push this pushes them away from then
[5:53]another group comes and the prophet would call Ali push them push
[5:59]them away and Im Ali would go pushing them away and continuing
[6:02]doing so until his body was full of wounds and blood comes
[6:10]to and says this is how one defend someone else.
[6:18]This is how one console someone else.
[6:21]Heb is going and fighting the enemies.
[6:28]He's putting himself in danger just to save you, just to look
[6:31]after you, to make sure that you are safe.
[6:33]He says I do you know why?
[6:35]He says why?
[6:38]He says, "Because I am of him and he is of me."
[6:43]And says, "And I am of you too as well." And then
[6:46]started crying in the skies and shouting, Yeah.
[7:05]And hence we read also in the other ayah Allah subhanahu wa
[7:13]ta'ala beautified im made beautiful in your hearts according to the hidden
[7:25]or the implicit definition of this ayah is referring to because we
[7:32]read in the hadith and On the day of the day, the
[7:38]all of the whole im has come out to face shik and
[7:47]that was facing.
[7:51]So Allah says Allah has made im beloved to you and indeed
[7:57]I iman is beloved.
[7:59]Im Ali Alisam is loved by his followers, loved by the Shia
[8:02]who are willing to give away their lives and in fact they
[8:05]are giving away their lives for the sake of Ali and the
[8:10]love of Ali and the love of Muhammad Aliham.
[8:20]In this ayah number 10 of the surah again it continues Allah
[8:27]says surely Allah is emphasizing on the brotherhood of the believers.
[8:37]They're brothers and sisters they need to be treated like your own
[8:43]brother and your own sister.
[8:44]This is how we need to look after each other.
[8:47]This is how much Quran values the ummah the community and the
[8:51]brotherhood in the community.
[8:54]Yeah.
[8:52]Brothers and sisters from tonight let's make sure that we look at
[8:59]each other as one family.
[8:59]In each family you may have differences in your own families.
[9:04]Sometimes those differences might be minor, sometimes major.
[9:08]You may have one supporting for example Man United, the other one
[9:12]supporting Liverpool.
[9:13]you know, they'll be like, you know, they still don't argue, but
[9:16]they're still brothers at the end of the day.
[9:18]They're still, you know, a brother and sister, and they have their
[9:20]ties.
[9:21]They may have different political views.
[9:22]Your own brother may have a different political view from you, different
[9:26]ideas about how to do things from you, but at the end
[9:30]of the day, he or she is your brother is your sister.
[9:31]You both live under the same roof.
[9:33]You look both take care of each other.
[9:35]This is how we are in the community, brothers and sisters.
[9:40]We have our differences.
[9:40]We have our ways of doing things but we need to make
[9:45]sure that we respect each other and we look after one another.
[9:48]The ayah says our brothers a companion of imuhammed comes to ask
[10:08]alah what are the rights of the believers over each other.
[10:15]Imam tells him I'm afraid if I tell you you will not
[10:22]fulfill these rights.
[10:26]So I'm worried about you.
[10:28]He says all the strength comes from Allah.
[10:32]Inshallah Allah will help me fulfill them.
[10:35]Tell me what they are.
[10:38]So now we're going to continue.
[10:40]If you don't want to listen, you may step out for about
[10:42]5 minutes and come back.
[10:44]Inshallah brothers and this way you say like I didn't know I
[10:46]don't know what those rights are so I don't have to fulfill
[10:48]them now.
[10:50]All right.
[10:52]So the im he says in this in this I chose this
[10:57]one because the imam lists only seven seven rights.
[10:58]There's another one where he lists 30 another one where there are
[11:04]70 you know.
[11:03]So the seven is the minimum here.
[11:05]Let's go with the minimum here.
[11:06]What what what are the rights?
[11:09]Listen to these rights brothers and sisters.
[11:12]And hopefully then this will make us really realize how we should
[11:16]be looking after each other as a community as an ummah.
[11:18]We are all the of So he tells him first he says
[11:34]these are seven things he says if he loses if he misses
[11:37]one of them one of he's missed one of the rights of
[11:44]Allah the h of Allah Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala wants to see
[11:46]this between the community between the shia between the what are they?
[11:53]One, you love for him what you love for yourself and you
[12:02]dislike for him what you dislike for yourself.
[12:05]That in itself is so difficult.
[12:06]Do we really like do I really like for my brother what
[12:11]I really like for myself?
[12:11]Do I like to sleep hungry?
[12:12]No, I don't.
[12:14]Why do I let my brother sleep hungry?
[12:16]Especially if I know if I know now sometimes we don't know
[12:21]but sometimes we should ask how is this brother for example this
[12:25]brother does not have a job or he lost his job okay
[12:29]well how is he surviving does he have money to pay his
[12:31]rent or his mortgage for example how is he looking after his
[12:36]family and sometimes it's common sense if he's lost his job what
[12:40]is he doing and there are some brothers and sisters they have
[12:47]you know what is andu word is that means honor, integrity.
[12:49]They they don't like to ask for people for help.
[12:53]They don't they would never go.
[12:54]They would come sit next to you and they smile and they
[12:58]talk and whatever.
[12:58]And if you then investigate, you say, "This poor guy, he's tomorrow
[13:01]they're foreclosing his house because he doesn't have the money to pay
[13:04]for it." But he he never asks.
[13:06]There are some people like that in the community.
[13:09]They have dignity, honor, integrity.
[13:11]So, we need to ask for them.
[13:14]We need to make sure that we look after them.
[13:17]When for example, if I have a business, the way I treat
[13:22]the make sure that the way I want them to treat me,
[13:26]if I'm selling something, if I'm buying something, I want to know
[13:30]if there is some faults in this issue and in this thing,
[13:32]be honest with me.
[13:35]Don't say, "No, no, business is business." You know, when it comes
[13:38]to business, keep everything to the side.
[13:39]And then the rest of the stuff, you know, we come and
[13:40]see you at mosque, my brother and all that stuff.
[13:44]We need to treat each other with dignity, with respect.
[13:48]The same way I would like him to sell me something, I
[13:51]sell him something.
[13:52]The same way I would like him to treat, for example, for
[13:55]example, if his son is marrying my daughter, how do I want
[13:59]him to treat my daughter?
[14:00]The same thing I need to treat his son as well.
[14:03]And so on so forth.
[14:04]brothers and sisters.
[14:06]It is said one day a man divorced his wife.
[14:10]He divorced his wife and this was back in the days when
[14:12]the woman would walk out on the streets covering their faces.
[14:16]Okay?
[14:17]So this lady was a mu she would always cover her face
[14:19]when she goes out.
[14:21]So no one has seen her face except of course he divorced
[14:25]her but then there was a dispute about the payments how much
[14:30]he pays her for example allowance etc etc the child support.
[14:33]So she goes to the judge and complains.
[14:36]The judge summons him.
[14:37]The judge comes.
[14:39]So they're both standing in front of the judge.
[14:42]She tells the judge that this man is not paying me the
[14:45]monthly allowance that he should pay be paying me.
[14:48]The man says, "No, I am paying her." So the judge says,
[14:51]"Well, I need you to remove your cover so that I can
[14:56]see who am I talking to so that I can ask.
[14:59]I can ask and confirm." The lady said, "I don't want to
[15:04]move my cover." The man who was her husband, he said to
[15:09]her, "Why do you want her?" He said to the judge, "Why
[15:12]do you want her to remove her cover?" He says, "Because I
[15:14]need to see her so I can investigate and I can tell
[15:17]them the people then who am I talking to?
[15:19]Is this really your your ex-wife, for example?
[15:22]So, I have to confirm this man who was the ex-husband." He
[15:26]tells her, "Wait, judge.
[15:29]Although I have divorced this lady, I have some issues with her.
[15:35]But this lady, no man has seen her face.
[15:39]No stranger has seen her face except her maharim, the maham, you
[15:42]know, her father, her brothers, etc., etc.
[15:45]And when she came to my house as a wife, I was
[15:47]the first man to see her face.
[15:50]I will not allow any stranger to see her face.
[15:53]I have issues with her, but you know what?
[15:57]I will start paying her.
[15:58]Whatever money she's asking for, I'll pay.
[16:01]I'll pay.
[16:02]But I don't want her to reveal her face.
[16:06]I will respect her dignity.
[16:07]I will respect her sanctity.
[16:10]So the lady said, "Judge, you know, since this man is so
[16:17]honorable, you know what?
[16:17]I also forgive him for the money.
[16:19]I let go.
[16:22]Allah subhana wa ta'ala will take care of my but this is
[16:26]mu this is a mu you see brothers and sisters this is
[16:28]how he treats the lady to save her dignity to save to
[16:34]protect her sanctity is this how we treat each other this is
[16:38]what the first one this is number one huh you like for
[16:42]your brother what you like for yourself you dislike for him what
[16:45]you dislike for yourself number one now most people will start leaving
[16:48]now you say this is number one is like Then what am
[16:53]I going to do with the rest of them?
[16:54]Okay.
[16:55]Number two, you support your brother with yourself, with your money, with
[17:09]your tongue, with your hands, and with your feet.
[17:11]Support him when he needs when he needs help.
[17:13]Help him.
[17:14]Help your brothers and sisters.
[17:16]Brothers and sisters, to the best of your ability, to the best
[17:22]of your ability, give on a daily basis, if there are some
[17:25]in London, and I'm sure there are some in London who are
[17:29]in need, you help them.
[17:29]You support them.
[17:31]If you don't know, you say, "I don't know, she I don't
[17:33]know of any M in London who's in need.
[17:34]Ask.
[17:35]If you can't find, then send it abroad.
[17:38]Send it abroad.
[17:40]That one pound that you might give every day to you might
[17:42]be little, but that 30 pounds at the end of the month
[17:47]may become a big amount for a mman who's in need.
[17:51]So let's try to help.
[17:51]You hear of a mman who requires for example is looking for
[17:54]a job.
[17:55]Go help him.
[17:57]Ask around.
[17:58]Anybody knows this is his qualification.
[18:00]Can you help him?
[18:00]Can you hire him?
[18:03]Etc.
[18:03]etc.
[18:04]To the best of your ability, help too.
[18:07]So you help him with yourself, with your money, with your tongue,
[18:12]with your hands and with your feet.
[18:14]Help him, support him.
[18:15]It is said there was a man.
[18:20]He was dying.
[18:23]He was dying.
[18:25]As he was dying, people were standing around him.
[18:28]They hear him say, "I wish it was the bigger one.
[18:40]Then a little while later, I wish it was longer.
[18:47]And then he says, I wish it was the newer one.
[18:53]People were thinking this guy is dying, so maybe he's losing it.
[18:59]You know, he's on his deathbed and he's losing it.
[19:01]Subhan Allah.
[19:03]This man does not die.
[19:04]He recovers.
[19:07]Dua.
[19:08]Brothers and sisters, don't underestimate the value of dua.
[19:12]There is a from Muhammad who says that dua Allah subhana wa
[19:25]ta'ala sometimes makes a command.
[19:29]He commands and he tells the angels execute this command.
[19:32]However, if the make dua, then don't execute it.
[19:37]This command, whatever it is, some some pain, whatever it is, Allah
[19:44]tells the angels, do it.
[19:47]However, if the pray, if they make dua, then don't do it.
[19:51]Now, Allah knows in his knowledge, he knows whether or not they'll
[19:54]make dua.
[19:56]The angels may not know but it is to give us the
[20:01]incentive.
[19:59]Pray to Allah.
[20:01]Turn to Allah.
[20:04]This person may be on his deathbed.
[20:06]Some maybe his brothers, his family members, his children were praying for
[20:10]him.
[20:11]So Allah accepted and pushed the death away from him.
[20:13]So he recovers.
[20:15]He recovers.
[20:15]They're asking them we need to move forward.
[20:17]Inshallah move forward.
[20:21]Let's move forward.
[20:31]A secondawham to become among his and his companions.
[20:39]A third loud salawat Allah.
[20:46]So when this man recovered, those people who were standing around him,
[20:53]they started asking.
[20:52]Now what was he saying?
[20:53]Do you remember what was he saying when he was dying?
[20:56]They asked him, you know, when you were dying, you were saying
[20:58]things.
[20:59]Were you just hallucinating or was it real?
[21:02]He says, let me tell you.
[21:04]So what was the first thing he was saying?
[21:06]He was saying, I wish it was the bigger one.
[21:11]The bigger one.
[21:12]He said, yes.
[21:14]He says, "As I was dying, I noticed a fire approaching me
[21:21]like the hellfire." He's seeing things, but we are not seeing anything.
[21:27]That's that transition.
[21:27]Just before we leave this dunya, people sometimes start seeing things.
[21:33]He says, "As this fire came, I saw a piece of bread
[21:40]appear." What is that piece of bread?
[21:42]He says, "One day I went to the baker.
[21:46]I bought two pieces of bread.
[21:46]One was small, one was big." He says, "As I was coming,
[21:52]I saw a poor man sitting on the street hungry.
[21:55]So I thought to myself, you know, this poor guy, I have
[21:57]two pieces of bread.
[21:59]Let me give him one piece and I'll keep the other piece."
[22:01]So which piece did he give him?
[22:03]Naturally, we are like human beings.
[22:05]What do we do?
[22:07]We give the small piece.
[22:08]You know, I'll take the bigger one for myself.
[22:11]He said that same small piece I saw coming as a barrier
[22:20]between me and the fire.
[22:19]The same piece anyone who does an atom weight of good deeds
[22:32]will see it and you'll he saw the same piece of bread.
[22:37]He saw it.
[22:40]Not the the bed itself.
[22:41]And anyone who does an atom weight of bad deed will see
[22:48]it.
[22:46]He said I saw.
[22:48]So I was saying I wish it was what?
[22:50]>> The bigger one.
[22:52]No.
[22:53]So at least the distance would be a little bit bigger.
[22:55]He says one day.
[22:58]And then what?
[22:59]What was he saying?
[22:59]He said I wish it was longer.
[23:01]What is longer?
[23:03]He says one day.
[23:06]One day.
[23:04]It was in the afternoon noon and it was hot.
[23:07]I just came back.
[23:10]You know sometimes brothers and sisters in uh Middle East the people
[23:13]at noon they close their shops and they come back home because
[23:16]it's so hot.
[23:18]You know they rest and then they go back for example.
[23:20]So this man says I came back home.
[23:24]It was hot so hot.
[23:24]He says the minute I arrived home I was tired.
[23:27]I was about to rest.
[23:27]I hear a knock on the door.
[23:31]So I go I open the door.
[23:32]He said, "Yes, this man, strangerum." He says, "I need your help."
[23:37]Says, "Well, help with what?
[23:37]At this time of the day, can you come back later?" He
[23:39]says, "No, really, please.
[23:41]I need your help." What?
[23:42]He says, "Your neighbor, next door neighbor, this guy.
[23:45]I owe him some money." And he keeps on asking me, "Where
[23:48]is my money?
[23:49]Where is my money?
[23:49]Where is my money?
[23:51]Can you please I heard that you have good relationship with him.
[23:54]Can you please come with me to him and ask him to
[23:57]wait a little bit, be patient until I have money?
[24:01]Inshallah, I'll pay him.
[24:03]please.
[24:02]He says, I was tired.
[24:04]I was really, you know, well, I thought, okay, poor guy, you
[24:06]know, at this time of the day, he's coming to knock my
[24:09]door.
[24:10]All right.
[24:09]Okay, I'll come with you.
[24:12]Now, back, you've seen the old homes, you know how dogs, well,
[24:14]well, not old homes here in London, I see them.
[24:17]Mashallah, they're like miniature world.
[24:17]Every house is like next to the other house.
[24:20]You see that?
[24:19]You know, like from one door to the next door is like
[24:24]maybe five steps, you know.
[24:24]So, he says, I I came out of my house.
[24:26]I came out of my house.
[24:29]What?
[24:28]Like about 10 steps, 12 steps, whatever it is.
[24:31]And I knocked on the door of my neighbor.
[24:33]My neighbor opened the door.
[24:34]Salamlaykum.
[24:36]Yes, neighbor.
[24:37]How are you?
[24:38]What do you need?
[24:38]I told him, you know, you see this M?
[24:40]He says, yes, he owes me money.
[24:43]He says, okay, can you please be patient?
[24:43]You know, I'm your neighbor.
[24:46]Please, you know, he doesn't have money.
[24:47]Be patient with him.
[24:48]Inshallah, when he has money, he'll pay you.
[24:50]So, he said, okay, just because of you, my neighbor, okay, I'll
[24:53]be patient.
[24:54]So, I fulfilled his Haj.
[24:55]This M said, Thank you.
[24:59]And he leaves.
[25:00]He said when I was standing there, now what was in front
[25:03]of him?
[25:04]Do you remember now as he was dying?
[25:07]What was coming at him?
[25:07]The fire.
[25:08]Now first that piece of bread came and he says I wish
[25:10]it was the bigger one.
[25:14]Now he says whatever steps I took those same number of steps
[25:17]let's say for example 12 steps for example it took me 12
[25:21]steps to go to my neighbor and knock on their door.
[25:23]Those 12 steps, I started heading back away from the fire.
[25:30]The exact same steps.
[25:30]So I was saying to myself, I wish it was what?
[25:34]Longer.
[25:35]I wish I had walked a kilometer, 2 kilometers to fulfill the
[25:38]need of this m.
[25:41]And then he was saying, I wish what it was the newer
[25:46]one, not the old one.
[25:51]Said what is that?
[25:51]He said, "One day I had a like this abaya, okay?
[25:54]And then it had a hole in it.
[25:58]Got a hole in it.
[25:58]So I thought, let me go buy a new abaya." Okay?
[26:01]So I went and bought a new one.
[26:02]As I came out after I bought my new one, I saw
[26:07]some poor man sitting on the street.
[26:08]So I thought, "Okay, why not give him the old abaya?
[26:12]Let him benefit from it." You know, some of those abayas, you
[26:15]know, they they they are warm.
[26:16]They're really good, for example, winter.
[26:18]So even if they have a hole, this poor man can still
[26:24]benefit from it.
[26:21]So I gave him what?
[26:26]My old abaya.
[26:26]He says, as I was standing there now, the piece of bread
[26:31]came.
[26:32]Then I took steps away from the fire.
[26:34]He says, then that old abaya came as a curtain between me
[26:40]and the fire.
[26:43]That same abaya, it came as a curtain.
[26:47]The only problem is what?
[26:47]It had the hole.
[26:50]So I could still see the fire.
[26:52]So I was saying I wish it was the new one because
[26:57]then I would have not the fire would have gone away from
[26:59]me.
[27:01]You see brothers and sisters.
[27:03]Now how many of us are ready?
[27:06]We are on im let's try our best to promise Im Ali
[27:15]im Ali I will become a good M inshallah from tonight if
[27:18]we don't take care of our salat let's start taking care of
[27:20]salat if we hurt some other brothers and sisters go and apologize
[27:27]now someone might say sheh it's embarrassing it's better to live the
[27:33]embarrassment in than to live the fire of the or the snakes
[27:37]and the scorpions.
[27:39]If you have said something bad to a m go apologize and
[27:44]if someone apologizes, forgive them.
[27:47]Tell them kalas because we need Allah's forgiveness.
[27:53]The says when a muman forgives his brother or sister, Allah turns
[27:57]to the angels and says my angels, the servant of mine is
[28:00]not more generous than I am.
[28:05]He forgave his brother.
[28:08]So my angels bear witness.
[28:11]I have what?
[28:10]Forgiven him as well.
[28:13]And that's what we need on this night.
[28:16]We ask ya Allah forgive us.
[28:18]Ya Allah forgive us from the hellfire.
[28:20]Delete our names from the hellfire.
[28:22]So you see brothers and sisters, this is the second one that
[28:28]you help him with yourself, with your money, with your tongue, with
[28:33]your hands, and with your feet.
[28:33]Number three and you try to please your fellow brother and sister.
[28:42]Stay away from angering him, making him angry, shouting at him, yelling
[28:47]at him, disrespecting him.
[28:50]And try to obey him.
[28:51]Of course, obey him in the good, not in the bad.
[28:55]Okay?
[28:55]And we'll come to that.
[28:57]That's number three.
[28:56]Number four, you become like his eyes, his guide and his mirror.
[29:04]What does that mean?
[29:04]Your M brother wants for example wants to start a business for
[29:11]example.
[29:09]You would tell him listen I know somebody who started this business
[29:14]before and it did succeed because of X Y Z.
[29:18]So I recommend if you want to start this business you go
[29:23]talk to this person so that you don't fail as well.
[29:26]This is now you're being his guide.
[29:29]You're being like his eyes.
[29:29]His mirror is what brothers and sisters, when we stand in the
[29:33]mirror, what do we see?
[29:34]>> Our reflection.
[29:35]And what do we see?
[29:36]Sometimes when we see there are some faults, we try to fix
[29:40]these faults.
[29:42]The only thing is about the mirror, the nice thing about the
[29:44]mirror, it only shows me my faults and shows me my reflection.
[29:48]It does not expose me in front of everyone else.
[29:50]So that's what we need to be.
[29:54]When you see your brother and sister having shortcomings, go to him
[29:59]privately confidentiality and tell him, "Brother, you're not taking care of your
[30:04]salat.
[30:02]Maybe it's time that you take care of your salat." This is
[30:07]and some people might be for example standing outside the masjid, spending
[30:12]the night outside the masjid.
[30:13]You tell them, "Let's come inside the masjid.
[30:15]Let don't don't this is not the night to waste outside the
[30:18]masjid talking and having convers.
[30:22]This is a night, a big night, our destiny inshallah.
[30:24]So let's come inside.
[30:27]You become a guide.
[30:28]You become someone who drags them to doing good.
[30:31]Not for example, try this vape, try that whatever, try this new
[30:35]flavor, try this is stay away from these things.
[30:39]Try to become a but maintaining confidentiality.
[30:45]Try to resolve the conflict.
[30:46]You hear a brother is having a problem with his wife for
[30:49]example.
[30:50]Try to support him.
[30:53]Help him resolve that conflict.
[30:55]Aman is in need.
[30:55]Help them.
[30:57]Number five, you should not be full while he's hungry.
[31:07]You are you quenching your thirst, but he's thirsty.
[31:10]You have thing something to wear, but he doesn't have anything to
[31:13]wear.
[31:14]So, we need to look after each other.
[31:16]This is number five.
[31:18]Number six, listen to this one.
[31:20]This is an interesting one.
[31:20]If you have a servant, now here in London, we may not
[31:24]have a lot of servants.
[31:25]Maybe sometimes in the Middle East, they people have servants.
[31:26]They say if you have a servant and he doesn't have one,
[31:29]he does not have someone to look after him, then you should
[31:32]send your servant to him to wash his clothes, to for example,
[31:37]prepare food for him.
[31:37]Help help your brother with your servant if you have them.
[31:40]Number seven, if your brother makes an oath, makes an oath and
[31:48]he does not have the means to executed, then you help him
[31:54]to execute his oath.
[31:57]Okay.
[31:59]Two, if he invites you, answer him.
[32:03]Three, when he becomes ill or someone becomes ill, go visit him.
[32:07]Go visit him.
[32:07]However, when you visit someone who's ill, don't stay for too long,
[32:12]brothers and sisters.
[32:12]Now, they're already ill.
[32:13]Some people, mashallah, they come to visit someone who's ill and they
[32:17]stay there for an hour.
[32:19]Chai, you know, coffee, tea, baklawa, the guy is ill already, you
[32:24]know, just stay for like 10 minutes and then it said one
[32:26]man there was he was ill.
[32:30]A man was ill and people came and because he because of
[32:32]his illness, he used to kind of, you know, put his back
[32:35]against the pillow.
[32:34]But when the guests come and he used to stretch his feet.
[32:39]When the guests come he would sit properly out of respect.
[32:41]The prophet sallallah.aii wasallam was never seen was never seen stretching his
[32:51]legs in front of people.
[32:53]I see some people in the mosque doing this.
[32:57]Try to avoid it.
[32:57]It's not haram but it's not respectful.
[32:59]Okay?
[33:00]It's not the of try not to stretch your legs in public.
[33:04]So this poor man this this m he's sick man when people
[33:08]used to come he would sit properly and one day some people
[33:11]came and they sat down and there you know he's waiting mashallah
[33:15]they're sitting and they're talking and they're joking and he's in pain
[33:19]at the end he got up and he picked up his pillow
[33:22]and started walking away people said where are you where are you
[33:25]going he says alhamdulillah I was sick but now I'm fine alhamdulillah
[33:31]get out enough guys Okay.
[33:36]So, one should not try but try to visit the sick and
[33:40]when there is a janaza try to attend the janaza to the
[33:44]best of your ability.
[33:43]These are all the the whether he's rich or he's poor.
[33:49]Whether he is someone who's well known in the community or someone
[33:52]who no one knows in the community, you respect them.
[33:57]give them dignity because you never know this poor person in this
[34:01]community could be the wi of Allah.
[34:04]How do we know who is the closest?
[34:05]Tonight, mashallah, we have hundreds of people here.
[34:09]Thousands maybe.
[34:10]How do we know who is closest to Allah?
[34:13]How do we know?
[34:13]Nobody know.
[34:14]Nobody knows what's in the heart.
[34:16]Only Allah knows what's in the heart.
[34:17]It's not the one who donates the most.
[34:20]Im Ali Alisam was not donating the most but he would donate
[34:26]with lasas with sincere and that's why Allah accepts his donation because
[34:30]he donates in the middle of the night when no one is
[34:32]watching except Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and he donates for the sake
[34:38]of Allah so attend the janaza help the people be together if
[34:42]we do this now the ria says and if he has a
[34:47]need then try to rush to fulfill his need before he even
[34:52]asks you for it.
[34:53]Before he don't even make him ask.
[34:59]Go help him.
[34:58]If you do that, the imam says you have connected your will
[35:05]with his and both of his will to your will.
[35:09]Now you have a connection.
[35:11]Well, this is in reference to ay 71 have some sort of
[35:22]a connection, a bond and that's why this ayah in says connect
[35:30]between your brother fear Allah when you have this Allah subhana wa
[35:38]ta'ala will send his mercy mercy upon.
[35:40]If we as a community start dealing with each other with this
[35:43]kind of the of Allah will be bestowed upon this community.
[35:48]How so?
[35:49]We'd find mashallah the in the community would increase the success of
[35:54]the community increases the the prosperity increases the brotherhood the bond all
[35:59]aspect of things.
[36:00]It is said when this ayah was revealed, the prophet sallallahu alaihi
[36:05]called the Muslims and he started establishing brotherhood between each and every
[36:11]one of them and then he turns to Imam and he says
[36:14]you are my brother.
[36:17]He is the brother of and he was the one who looked
[36:25]after the he looked after the rich and the poor.
[36:27]He looked after the weak and the strong.
[36:30]He looked after every and he looked after them because of their
[36:38]imaw.
[36:37]And that's what we need to do, brothers and sisters.
[36:40]You would find him at night in remembering Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
[36:45]but in the daytime he's going around helping people, serving people without
[36:51]them sometimes recognizing who he is.
[36:55]The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasall calls him you are to me like
[37:01]Harun is to MS but there is no prophet after me.
[37:07]And what was the status of read and make a successor of
[37:21]me of my family.
[37:26]support me through him or with him and make him my partner
[37:36]in the message.
[37:36]So when he tells him you are to me like to MS
[37:39]that means what is the status of imam the partner in the
[37:45]message but he's not a prophet of Allah and that's why when
[37:48]they ask him how is your relationship to Allah he says I
[37:54]am a servant of the servants of Muhammad.
[37:57]I serve but that is im the one who looks after the
[38:09]orphans the widows the poor the needy and that's how we should
[38:12]be the man who has compassion the man who loves Allah subhanahu
[38:15]wa ta'ala brothers and sisters this is the night when we turn
[38:21]to Allah and we say Oh Allah forgive us.
[38:27]Oh Allah have mercy upon us.
[38:28]Oh Allah make us among the of this great man after what
[38:35]kind of life he had a very difficult life with the loss
[38:41]of Allah.
[38:43]He was in pain and then just few days afterwards he lost
[38:47]his father and what a loss how he lost her.
[38:53]He saw the dog being pushed against her right in front of
[38:57]his eyes and his baby getting killed right in front of his
[39:00]eyes and Fatima collapsing to the ground bleeding right in front of
[39:08]his eyes.
[39:09]He was in pain.
[39:09]in pain and that's why a week approximately towards the end of
[39:13]his life just before his the end of his life a man
[39:19]asks him why don't you dye your beard he says dying the
[39:22]beard is a sign of joy a sign of zenet ornament and
[39:29]I am in a I am in pain the of the loss
[39:39]of and the of the loss of more than 30 years ago.
[39:45]He's still carrying that pain.
[39:46]And then he looks at his companions leaving dunya one after the
[39:50]other.
[39:51]Omar gets killed.
[39:54]Aik gets killed.
[39:54]Muhammadbl gets killed.
[39:57]Malik Aar gets killed.
[39:58]Yahan gets killed.
[39:59]Shahad detain gets killed.
[40:02]He's looking around.
[40:02]He's finding all his beloved supporters, his sh are gone one after
[40:07]the other.
[40:08]He would then turn and says, "When will you send the most
[40:15]wicked man so that he would die this from this dies my
[40:18]beard?
[40:18]When will the time come?" And then he would turn to death
[40:23]and start reciting verses of poetry.
[40:25]Oh death, who's not going to leave me alone?
[40:29]take me because you have taken all my beloved ones.
[40:31]I am in pain and I want to meet I want to
[40:40]meet on the after he buried her.
[40:46]He goes to the of and he says, this is after burying.
[40:58]He goes to the of to complain.
[41:16]I send the salam from my behalf and behalf of your daughter
[41:23]who's now next to you so quickly after you until he says,
[41:36]"My pain will be eternal and my nights will be sleepless Indeed
[41:43]this is how I im lived 30 years after he would remember
[41:56]he would remember and that's why on this night was on his
[42:14]deathbed and his children and family members all around him.
[42:19]I hass him, hugs him.
[42:22]A tear of Imul Hassan falls on the face of he opens
[42:33]his eye and says, "Oh my beloved Hassan, you're crying for me."
[42:45]Then I al Hussein hugs his father.
[42:48]Another tear of Im Hussein falls on the face of he looks
[43:00]at Im Hussein and he calls Hussein.
[43:08]My children do not cry for me.
[43:14]Here I see your grandfather and your mother standing in front of
[43:30]me.
[43:28]The angels are saying Jenna is waiting for you.
[43:35]We have decorated it awaiting your arrival.
[43:40]I am leaving you going to Jenna, going to your grandfather, going
[43:52]to your mother.
[43:54]The children start crying.
[44:10]Your im stretches his arms and his legs.
[44:22]Your imis and the soul of departs his body.
[44:48]LET THE THE HOUSE of started weeping and crying.
[45:05]Hass took the body of the and the then they put him
[45:19]on the as per his he told Hassan Hussein you carry the
[45:22]back of my the front will be carried by and follow them
[45:31]wherever they put my that is where my grave should be.
[45:38]So then they follow as they carry the of Hussein until they
[45:51]arrive at some place in the descends down.
[45:55]They dig the grave.
[45:59]They find a note written.
[46:02]This is the grave prepared by the prophet for Ali the of
[46:10]and they bury him right there between the two graves of Adam
[46:19]and then they cry.
[46:26]I say I als this great man.
[46:39]Then as they were walking back, they hear some old man crying,
[46:47]weeping.
[46:48]They approach him.
[46:48]They say, "Old man, what is the matter?" He says, "There was
[46:55]a man who was so kind.
[46:56]Every night he would come and he would give me some food
[47:03]and he would look after me.
[47:07]Even though I am blind, but I can sense his aura as
[47:13]he comes.
[47:15]For the past three nights, he has not showed up.
[47:18]I am all alone.
[47:21]He's not been there.
[47:25]Im Hass says, "Old man, do you know who this man was?"
[47:29]He says, "No, behind blind, I couldn't see who he was, but
[47:37]I can feel his aura.
[47:37]I can feel his presence.
[47:41]I can feel that he's a heavenly man." They said, "Old man,
[47:45]that was our father." And we just came back from burying him.
[47:54]When the old man hears this, he cries, "Take me to his."
[48:05]They take him to the of Im Ali.
[48:07]He falls on the crying until his soul departs his body on
[48:21]the of the im.
[48:20]So I immedain and ke and burial.
[48:27]Then they go back to the house and Zabas have you buried
[48:35]my father Hassan Hussein in 10 days it will be the day
[48:45]of Eid.
[48:46]But what kind of Eid are we going to have without a
[48:54]woman?
[48:54]This will be the first aid where our father is no longer
[48:59]with us.
[49:01]This is the first aid where we feel as if we are
[49:03]orphans.
[49:33]Raise your hands in the dua.
[49:37]Brothers and sisters, the says of is an act of worship and
[49:46]we just did the inshallah the gates of dua are open and
[49:51]duas will be answered.
[49:54]Let us all pray together.
[50:01]Amen.
[50:08]Amen.
[50:41]10 times together.
[50:45]Ya Allah.
[50:47]Ya Allah.
[50:45]Ya Allah.
[50:48]Ya Allah.
[50:51]Ya Allah.
[50:55]Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah Yes.
[51:45]All foreign.
[52:37]Ill andchech.
[53:10]Ask for your hajat.
[53:14]Inshallah they'll be fulfilled inshallah on this night.
[53:25]for together.
[53:34]Allah foreign.
[54:37]Muhammad.
[54:39]Mhammed loveham.
[55:00]Alhamdulillah.
[55:12]not participate in the tonight.
[55:17]Tonight our im is in he's in pain.
[55:21]He's in grief.
[55:22]Let us all participate and console him in the for the shahada
[55:27]of Hussein.
[55:30]>> Yeah.
[55:31]for zane.
