Muḥammad b. Ja'far b. Musa b. Masrur b. Qulawayh al-Qummi. He was a student of of Shaykh al-Kulayni and teacher Shaykh al-Mufid. The content of the book is the manner and rewards of visiting the graves of the Prophet and his holy household.
