[24:16]So I just like to share couple of observations and I sought
[24:24]permission from my sister to do First is that we get tested
[24:34]through wealth, through health and through children.
[24:43]When you pass those three tests, then there's a promise in Kabud.
[24:50]When God says what you will taste death, a friend of m
[25:17]So you'll taste death.
[25:20]So please if we were just looking at this, let me share
[25:26]a story.
[25:26]So yesterday Mahmud at about 8:30 p.m.
[25:34]left the subord.
[25:37]How did he do that?
[25:40]Mahmud and I were more than brothersin-law was mentor for me.
[25:51]At a very young age my dad went to Haj and he
[25:55]left me in Mahmud's care and he said Mahmud this is your
[26:02]thank you.
[26:01]I'd like to share with you what we played because I used
[26:08]to be with him at his hospital bed in the evening and
[26:13]that's when Mahmud woke up and would be nice and firm and
[26:18]talk about things with me.
[26:20]He remembered you brother Ashar quite few times in those conversations because
[26:25]of the food report you put he remembered your visits every time
[26:35]you saw him Jaff Khal every Friday they used to see him
[26:39]with brother Majjit there people came and saw him many times and
[26:43]he would tell me so what did we do with the two
[26:47]of us at that time we played with each other's thinking.
[26:54]That's what Mahmud liked.
[26:58]So Mahmud for his life could not actually tour his tongue like
[27:03]this.
[27:04]Yeah.
[27:05]He could not do it.
[27:07]And I used to say to him, I won over you.
[27:13]Why is that important?
[27:16]8:30 last night, he opened his tongue wide and left this place.
[27:29]You will taste death.
[27:32]If you're looking at that, the sweetness of the front of your
[27:38]tongue test your sweetness.
[27:42]So, I can just imagine how sweet death is to you.
[27:46]If that is so sweet to him, why am I shedding a
[27:50]tear?
[27:53]I'll read some um messages.
[27:57]Um I'm going to take a lot of your time, but I
[28:03]want to just share something with you.
[28:14]was a defer of odds.
[28:17]I have stopped counting how many times my sister would say to
[28:27]me, we need to do zasha because he's very ill.
[28:29]And when we did and he defied the odds yes all the
[28:33]time he defied the odds.
[28:35]He was a defier of odds.
[28:37]As a young man, he made waves in the community by being
[28:46]the youngest badminton player ever in Tanzanian history and won it.
[28:54]And because he was so good, when he went to Kenya to
[28:56]play, the people in Kenya would not actually allow him to play
[29:02]because they thought he was just a, you know, fly by night
[29:05]operator.
[29:06]He wasn't.
[29:08]He showed them how they did it.
[29:11]Who would have thought that the women team from a Navy town
[29:18]like Gosport would qualify England National Championship and win it.
[29:29]Mahm he was their he was their coach.
[29:31]cricket.
[29:33]He kept his first cricketing tour was to as a captain was
[29:41]to Nigeria and guess what happens because it was his first cricketing
[29:45]captain to he was youngest captain the team felt that he was
[29:54]not good.
[29:57]So what Mahmud did he's asking us to come forward.
[30:03]What did was he asked Bashani who's probably somewhere he asked the
[30:10]Jani his brother Ibrahimani to actually ask all the players [snorts] to
[30:15]say yes or no for his captaincy somebody who defied odds he
[30:23]he went and he got 100 yeses 100% sorry not 100 yeses
[30:26]100% he got it everyone wanted him to captain He played against
[30:34]India.
[30:33]He played against Pati remember him as Sharago's husband but you know
[30:40]that's that's what she did.
[30:41]He played against Podi Vishad and in Middle Sex he played with
[30:49]Mike Brley who was the England captain with MCC when they came
[30:52]to play in Tanzania.
[30:52]That's what he was.
[30:55]I want to just um share with you the one story or
[31:03]sorry one comment that's come it's not mine um I hate to
[31:10]call someone not good at this one it's asking something here okay
[31:13]so let me just share with you this particular message that has
[31:16]come through oh yes Mah you really are something aren't you um
[31:27]an interesting message from somebody from a long place from here and
[31:35]Mahmud has made an impact there.
[31:37]This message is come from apologies for the last name.
[31:48]Um it's come from A Quran Khani program for Mahmud is being
[32:03]organized at the Islamic Center in Kulna, Bangladesh and the Wafad program
[32:09]at Bifatima Zahra Alisam Lady Mary Community Center in I can't even
[32:16]pronounce this place Philippines on Sunday 23rd November.
[32:26]If the news of my death was received with the modus in
[32:31]Stanmore, I'll be delighted.
[32:37]Let me read this to you from another person.
[32:39]His name is um uh he sent the message that was really
[32:45]touching and he sent it to me.
[32:51]Yeah.
[32:51]It says um Salamasin this is Kuresh I've not been in touch
[32:55]with him at all.
[32:57]He is a childhood friend.
[32:57]I learned the sad today the sad demise of your brother-in-law Mahmud.
[33:02]May Allah rest his soul in peace.
[33:05]Amen.
[33:06]I used to know him when I used to play badminton in
[33:11]the Tanzanian team.
[33:11]He used to come to the Marata mundal at the time.
[33:16]Very good player.
[33:20]Won all matches against me.
[33:22]In any case, I contacted Maza friend to find out if it
[33:29]was the same person and he confirmed that it was and provided
[33:33]you contact.
[33:34]Okay.
[33:35]Mahm decided to connect friends.
[33:44]And our last message we like to [snorts] share is from somebody
[33:52]who actually um Mahmud loved to bits and that's Vizswan Bali.
[33:56]I was saddened to hear about the passing away of Mahmud and
[34:01]Vswan was quite close to Mahmud because he got a a or
[34:08]a B in maths for GCSE only because Mah was poaching him.
[34:12]You know, there was no way in God's earth the funeral was
[34:21]going to be today.
[34:23]Yes, every avenue had been explored and it was not going to
[34:29]be to fruition.
[34:31]But there was a masha behind it.
[34:33]What was the A mother is going to tomorrow receive her son
[34:42]in that graveyard and that mother knows that the cemetery pham cemetery
[34:51]is full of stones.
[34:53]She has to go pick them up like another mother in Kerbala
[34:57]where she wanted to make sure that her son did not land
[35:03]on stones.
[35:01]So she was picking up them with her hair, brushing the sand.
[35:07]Thank you very much for listening to me for such a long
[35:13]time.
[35:14]My apologies for the length.
[35:13]I wanted to share this Mira Judah Ros.
[35:47]Fore your for a ship.
[37:10]Thank you.
[37:28]>> [snorts] >> Muhammad Muhammad Salawat.

[45:27][singing] for Say >> [snorts] >> Alhamdulillah.
[47:30]Alhamdulillah.
[47:34]forumi.
[48:04]foreign.
[48:32]for We have gathered this evening for the mudless of one who
[49:17]is a beloved husband, a father, a brother, a grandfather and much
[49:26]more than that for one who has reached out the hearts of
[49:31]many not only within al- Mahadi Jamaat but also far beyond that
[49:41]and that is Mum Mahm Yusf Ali nor Muhammad.
[49:48]I would like to take this earliest opportunity to extend deepest sympathies
[49:53]and heartfelt condolences on behalf of myself and my family to the
[50:03]family of Muhammad Muhammad and I would like you to join me
[50:10]in raising our hands to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that may Allah
[50:15]subhanahu wa ta'ala by the was of the grieving Mother, grant Marm
[50:29]Muhammad with abundant mira with abundant rahma and make him to rest
[50:39]in the lofty abboard of none other than say zahamuhammed.
[50:48]And I pray to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that ya Allah especially
[50:54]in these days of ayat we ask you to grant sage jal
[51:03]to the widow of fatimai and to the beloved children and all
[51:09]believed family members.
[51:11]May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala accept our duas inshallah and we extend
[51:17]this dua also for the families of the and for the shahada.
[51:24]May I request to join me in reciter of Muhammad Ali Muhammad
[51:54][clears throat] m in life as human beings we all know that
[52:05]we can be very daring to take up different type of challenges
[52:09]and especially for those who are in the teenage age you will
[52:15]notice that they are very easy and welcoming to be able to
[52:18]take different types of challenges brought for them.
[52:22]You talk about the most roughest roller coaster.
[52:28]You talk about absailing over the very high heights.
[52:32]You talk about jumping down from the Niagara Falls as such and
[52:38]all these you will realize that human being and especially those who
[52:42]are of that younger age would be most willing and most daring
[52:45]to be able to take up these challenges so that they are
[52:50]able to set up a record as such.
[52:52]But mine there is one challenge in life which to the best
[53:01]of my knowledge up till now irrespective of one's age whether that
[53:06]person is a teenager or that person is what would say as
[53:13]an elder of the community when that challenge is given to that
[53:17]person that person is not willing to get up take up this
[53:21]challenge and I ask myself Why is it that that person is
[53:25]not willing to take up this challenge?
[53:26]Do you know which is that challenge?
[53:30]That challenge is the changing of residences.
[53:36]When I talk about residencies, of course, it is easy to shift
[53:43]from one house from one address to the other address and shift
[53:46]your residence.
[53:47]But it is not that challenge which I'm talking about.
[53:49]The challenge which I'm talking about is one where is asked to
[53:58]shift residence not the residence on the surface of this earth but
[54:01]the residence which is in the pit of the earth some sixt
[54:09]down the earth all alone in that solitary area in that darkness
[54:12]and this is the challenge which to the best of my knowledge
[54:17]till today nobody is willing to give into that challenge.
[54:21]One of the reasons for that is that we realize that in
[54:28]our life when we are able to use our senses, when we
[54:33]are able to see the space and the time and the distance
[54:35]and be able to link with all, what is going to happen
[54:42]in that new residence in that pit of the earth?
[54:46]We are not aware from the hadith of theam.
[54:50]What is narrated to us?
[54:54]We find that all our excellencies of sight, of hearing, of taste,
[54:58]of smell, of sense of time, of sense of distance, all this
[55:04]will be of no use for us in that pit which is
[55:09]six feet deep under the ground.
[55:10]Therefore, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in the surah which you have recited
[55:19]from Mul is mentioning to us with regards to this changing of
[55:23]the residences and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in surah mul surah number
[55:28]67 tells us about this changing of residences which is a form
[55:33]of challenge being given to us where he says Blessed is he
[55:45]in his in whose hands is all power is all sovereignity and
[55:54]know that he Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has power over all things
[56:04]he is the one Allah is the one who created mouth and
[56:09]hayat who created death and life.
[56:13]In our conversation we are talking about the shifting of the residences.
[56:18]He is the one who is making us to come into one
[56:22]residence and that is the residence of life and thereafter he is
[56:26]the one who has that power to make us go into that
[56:30]other residence and the residence of death.
[56:32]Why is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in this discussion talking about he
[56:42]is the one who has created death and life whereas you and
[56:49]I know that it is only after a person has been given
[56:54]birth is that when he's going to change residence to go into
[57:00]death.
[56:59]And it is obviously very logic that for something to die that
[57:05]thing needs to be alive first.
[57:06]We have never heard of the other way around that from death
[57:12]is when that person comes alive.
[57:14]We have never heard of any item or a thing or a
[57:18]creature from death or from death is where that thing comes alive.
[57:22]Rather the common understanding is that from life is where the person
[57:30]goes to death.
[57:29]A human being from life is when that person goes to death.
[57:35]A tree or a bush or an animal we see from life
[57:39]is where that tree or the bush or that animal will go
[57:43]to death.
[57:42]Perhaps a reason which scholars tell us over here is to draw
[57:48]our attention that when Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is utilizing the stage
[57:54]of death thereafter is utilizing the stage of life where he says
[58:00]he is the one who has created death and he is the
[58:05]one who has created life is to make us realize that when
[58:11]the mention of death is made first the way when I mentioned
[58:14]to you that you are being given a challenge.
[58:16]You and I are being given a challenge to change our residences.
[58:20]Not from the earthly residence but a challenge is to change residence
[58:24]into that speed which is 6 ft down under the ground.
[58:30]When we hear about death immediately there is a change of attitude.
[58:34]There is a seriousness in a demeanor which comes about immediately.
[58:39]So perhaps the and the are trying to explain to us that
[58:45]one of the reasons why Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is mentioning Allah
[58:49]is mentioning death first mouth first and thereafter he is mentioning life
[58:58]is to draw our attention to give us that to jolt us
[59:01]that it is now the discussion of death and when the mention
[59:06]of death comes or when the discussion of death comes comes what
[59:10]happens it immediately draws our attention hold on I need to change
[59:14]my way of living hold on I need to change my way
[59:20]of passing my lifestyle that is why Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala according
[59:24]to this one explanation is drawing our attention that when the Allah
[59:29]subhanahu wa ta'ala mentions death first before life drawing our attention in
[59:33]your ways of living in your ways of working here when you
[59:38]hear about death that is going to make us become more attentive
[59:41]and realized and focused in ensuring that hold on this life which
[59:46]I'm living in is one which is very temporary whose length or
[59:51]whose depth I am not aware of the reality is going to
[59:54]come and the challenge is for me to be able to beat
[59:58]that then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala continues in the ayah where he
[60:00]says why did he create these two stages stages of what we
[60:09]would say as the human being stay and that is the stage
[60:15]of life and the stage of death.
[60:15]He explains so that he is one who may be able to
[60:22]test you so that he be able to test you.
[60:29]Test you in what?
[60:28]test you to see that which one of you is which one
[60:34]of you is the best of your deeds.
[60:36]Thereafter Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala continues and he did know that he
[60:47]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is a is mighty is all prevalent and
[60:50]he is indeed the most forgiving.
[60:54]Look at the beauty which Alman Alim the most beneficient the most
[61:00]merciful is addressing his first he is jolting him bringing him into
[61:07]attention remember death is being taught it immediately draws attention become serious
[61:14]that makes me be able to see how I going to lead
[61:19]my life then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala knowing that this person who
[61:23]has now been challenged to leave this worldly life and go into
[61:30]that final life and that is into the grave is showing that
[61:32]he is not indeed one who is cruel.
[61:35]He's not one who is harming to that person.
[61:39]He is reassuring you and I when he says know that he
[61:46]is all prevalent.
[61:47]He is the one who is in control.
[61:49]He is the one who is mighty and he is the one
[61:53]who is alafur the most forgiving.
[61:56]This is indeed which gives us that biggest hope that biggest what
[62:00]we would say as a lifesaver a boy ring which is being
[62:03]thrown to us as we take up that challenge that no indeed
[62:09]he is the one who is most prevailing and he is the
[62:13]one who is most forgiving.
[62:21]No more meaning to prepare for this transfer of residence which is
[62:28]indeed the final abboard and which is one which is certain.
[62:32]We have been taught by the Salam not only during our lifetime
[62:38]but during the time of during the time of sakarat at the
[62:41]time of now in the final moments and also after the death
[62:46]as such one of the things which is being pointed out to
[62:52]us is to carry out recitation of different recital from the Quran.
[62:56]For example, it is recommended to recite surahul saf.
[63:00]It is recommended to recite yin.
[63:01]It is recommended to recite mul.
[63:06]It is recommended to recite ayati.
[63:08]These are a few recitations which have been recommended to recite inshallah
[63:13]in this mjim.
[63:15]I would like to share with you the significance for preparing ourselves
[63:23]for this transfer of that abort through the recital of mul.
[63:28]And I will use inshallah a few a hadith which explains to
[63:32]us the filah of the recitation of surahul.
[63:36]So that from there we are able to pick that these are
[63:38]the benefits of the recital of mul not only in the hayat
[63:43]not only in the lifetime but also in the mouth in the
[63:46]stage of death.
[63:49]So what meaning when we look at the the excellence of surah
[63:55]mul no doubt there are many as such but I will try
[64:00]within the time which which we have been allocated to share with
[64:04]you five of those excellencies with regards to surah al mul and
[64:11]based those excellencies we'll be able to pick up those benefits of
[64:15]recital of surahul mul so that inshallah you and I are able
[64:20]to once again be able to prepare ourselves for that greatest challenge.
[64:23]And inshallah through this mless beast becomes a a means for the
[64:28]isalab of theham Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala through our beloved prophet Muhammad
[64:48]Mustafa Sam [clears throat] has given us a lot of information and
[65:02]a lot of knowledge with regards to surah almul.
[65:07]One of the knowledges which have been given to us with regards
[65:11]to surah almul is with regards to the different names by which
[65:14]this surah surah number 67 is called.
[65:16]And one of the names by which this surah is called is
[65:24]al- mujah.
[65:22]Our beloved prophet Muhammad must mentions that is this surah is a
[65:39]surah in the Quran which argues which performs.
[65:46]So when the surah argues and it performs that mujadila it does
[65:52]that for its companion for the one who has recited and a
[65:56]result of that recital that companion is getting that da that Allah
[66:04]subhanahu wa ta'ala makes the benefit of this surah that this surah
[66:08]becomes a barister for this person arguing for this barister as a
[66:14]barister arguing for this mum to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala till that
[66:18]person is admitted to paradise.
[66:22]So this is one of the first benefits of the recital of
[66:27]surahul mul as taught to us by the prophet that you and
[66:35]I that when we take up this challenge of shifting over to
[66:39]that permanent residence and that is the hereafter take with you a
[66:45]barister take with you somebody who is going to argue on your
[66:48]behalf to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala such that he wins the case
[66:54]for you for Allah is when that barister when this Quran when
[66:59]this surah with the way you and I acted with this surah
[67:04]argues with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and succeeds that we are admitted
[67:08]to paradise this is the first benefit of recital of surah mul
[67:12]sallahuhammed the second name by which this surah is known is alman
[67:28]as we all know in our udu and also in our gujarati
[67:33]words is something where we say that is a barrier something which
[67:37]man so that means you are protect you are prevented from doing
[67:40]that thing so for example if there are floods to take place
[67:48]then you'll build walls as a defense to prevent that water coming
[67:52]to drown that person over there.
[67:54]This surah being called our fifth imuhammed explains that is know that
[68:11]is a barrier for you.
[68:15]It is a barrier.
[68:16]It is a defense which punishes from what?
[68:19]Which protects from what?
[68:20]It is a defense which protects you from the punishment of the
[68:27]grave.
[68:25]We know the rea tell us that indeed the time in that
[68:31]grave over there is one which is indeed frightening for a number
[68:36]of moment and one way for being able to protect oneself from
[68:40]this punishment of the grave from the hadith from the fifth imam
[68:44]tells us that alman the recital of surah al- is one which
[68:51]acts as a as a protector for you from the from the
[68:55]punishments of the gra.
[68:58]Then the imam continues to say that it is also written in
[69:02]the tawat that whoever recites this surah at night then he has
[69:10]performed a great and purifying act and he will not be counted
[69:14]amongst the from amongst those who are negligent people from amongst those
[69:20]who are the hitless people.
[69:22]So this is the second benefit for the recital of surahul for
[69:28]you and I to be able to build up that defense that
[69:33]protection for we know that our life in this world we are
[69:36]vulnerable prone to performing sins prone to falling into mistakes but Allah
[69:43]alur the one who is the most forgiving has given us a
[69:48]way of building up defenses despite our weaknesses despite our vulnerability.
[69:55]He has given us a means to be able to beat to
[69:58]build up that defense so that we can be protect ourselves from
[70:04]that adab of and that is the recital of mul and the
[70:07]recital of surahul mul as told to us by the fifth imam
[70:11]as was his practice to recite it on the night for a
[70:15]person who does that will be considered not from the will be
[70:18]considered not from the hitless heatless as such in other words what
[70:22]it means that through its recital It is going to make us
[70:29]to be attentive and to be careful in our hayat in our
[70:31]living in this world.
[70:34]This is the second benefit of the recital of surah alhamdu.
[70:41][clears throat] The third name which we get from the hadith for
[70:46]this surah mul is now here I just want to clarify that
[70:52]this is with aw it is notw with the is another surah
[71:04]in the Quran which is surah number 67 this name of surahul
[71:13]Yeah.
[71:14]And Allah subh and we are told in the hadith from our
[71:19]60 that the recital of or in other words the recital of
[71:34]its benefit is that that person as a result of that recital
[71:40]will be kept under protection of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala until the
[71:46]morning.
[71:44]For one who recites in the night, he is going to be
[71:52]kept under the protection of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala till the morning.
[71:57]And this is the third benefit of recital of surahul.
[72:00]Again linking to our conversation with regards the changing of residences that
[72:05]is the life one residence and the other residence which is the
[72:10]permanent residence.
[72:10]The residence of the hereafter the residence of the over here.
[72:14]Again we see that when the recital of this surahul mul is
[72:20]going to be something that it is giving us a protection that
[72:23]means it is going to bring about into us a change in
[72:28]our spiritual understanding a change in our nuffs that we protect ourself
[72:32]and we are on guard and this surah its teachings guards us
[72:36]towards seeking the pleasure and the kindness of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[72:41]and keeping away from that which is going to cause the displeasure
[72:47]of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and this is the third benefit of
[72:51]recital of so not only is the recital of mul for us
[73:04]as living ones beneficial for us it is also one which is
[73:11]beneficial for the person who has died And our sixth imaffi with
[73:22]regards to recital of surahul tells us if a person if surah
[73:29]al-mul is recited on a person who has died what happens then
[73:32]the soul the gets immediate relief.
[73:37]Subhan Allah.
[73:40]When we recite this surah for a person who has died, immediately
[73:45]the soul gets relief.
[73:47]So you can imagine the anxiety and the doubts and the worry
[73:54]and the apprehension and the confusion which you and I have with
[73:58]regards of what is going to happen in that life of that
[74:02]permanent award over there.
[74:03]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is giving us another of his kindness and
[74:09]mercy to tell us have no fear.
[74:10]You will have that rest.
[74:13]You will be at that peace.
[74:14]You will get that relief.
[74:15]And one of the keys is recite this for the person on
[74:22]whom has died.
[74:22]Immediately the soul of that person will get that relief.
[74:28]And alhamdulillah what we mean today over here in Al Mahi 6
[74:33]Jamaat have gathered and around the world the recital the way you
[74:36]and I have done and inshallah around the other places this surah
[74:41]is going to be recited and inshallah it will be a cause
[74:44]of relief for the soul of the Muhammad.
[74:55]The fifth benefit of recital of this surah.
[75:00]I would like to share with you a story and from the
[75:04]story you will get the benefit of recital of this surah al-
[75:06]Mul.
[75:08]It is narrated that once a person had spread his cloak on
[75:15]a grave to sit down.
[75:17]After sitting down that person started reciting surahul mul.
[75:25]As he was reciting surahul at that time he heard a voice
[75:31]coming out from the grave.
[75:34]This is indeed one which is the one which is going to
[75:44]give us uh salvation.
[75:46]Can you imagine the state of that person?
[75:50]You and I just imagine if you in that person's state over
[75:54]there, you would not think of dusting anything.
[75:59]Immediately zoom away from that place.
[76:00]What did that person do?
[76:02]That person immediately rushed to our beloved prophet Muhammad Mustafa Sam and
[76:15]he narrated this incident to the prophet and the prophet told him
[76:24]immediately that what you have heard is indeed your recital of surah
[76:32]Indeed, it is one which is going to give you that nijad
[76:36]that salvation from the adab of cover.
[76:39]It is one which is going to give you a lot of
[76:45]that taking away the the punishment the adab of the cover and
[76:48]protect you and keep you far away in a salvation from the
[76:52]adab of that cup.
[76:52]Just like that example for a person who is drowning and we
[76:57]throw to them the life boy ring as such that is the
[77:01]life hold it is indeed the greatest salvation for that person who
[77:06]is drowning.
[77:04]Likewise the recital of surah al- mulk the fifth benefit which we
[77:11]get over here is that it is indeed a it is one
[77:15]which is going to give that salvation to us from the adab
[77:18]of that.
[77:21]Through these five names of mul from the excellencies of recital of
[77:28]the surah the hadith of recital surah mul we have been able
[77:31]to look at the benefits of the recital of this surah.
[77:35]And as we have this benefits of recital surah mul an important
[77:42]point for us is to be able to understand that whilst the
[77:45]hadith and the teachings of the b mentioned to us the recital
[77:50]of surah mul not only for the person who is passing away
[77:52]for the person who has also died and to put it a
[77:57]practice for us to recite also in our lifetime.
[77:59]A lesson which I want to advise myself and share this advice
[78:05]with you is the question is that as living human beings as
[78:08]people who are still in our own temporary residence over here and
[78:12]waiting to be transferred and waiting to be able to take that
[78:18]daring challenge of transferring residence to the other residents over there.
[78:22]The question which is which we need to ask ourselves as a
[78:24]homework for ourselves is what should be our connection to this surah
[78:32]al- Mul.
[78:30]What is it that we need to be able to understand and
[78:35]be able to see that surahul is one which gives us benefit
[78:40]and that strength to be able to be daring to take up
[78:45]the challenge of transferring that residence.
[78:49]It is important for us to be able to reflect for as
[78:53]we know a hadith mentioned to us that these incidences of death
[78:58]which we see one of it is for it it becomes an
[79:02]elolesson for us to such an extent that we perform that pashia
[79:08]janaza when we perform that accompanied that procession of the funeral procession
[79:14]towards the graveyard as such that itself is an ibra and a
[79:16]point of lesson for us to Understand it could be I in
[79:22]that coffin over there.
[79:25]This is where is a point of reflection for us withahul.
[79:30]What is it which needs to be our connection of surahul mul?
[79:36]Is just the recital of mul sufficient for us?
[79:42]Is just the understanding of the translation and the and the of
[79:50]enough for us?
[79:51]Is it all sufficient so that it becomes one which gives us
[79:57]those five at least those five benefits from surahul?
[80:01]This is a question which I leave myself and share this question
[80:06]with you to think about.
[80:08]Look at the translation of Looking at the translation itself will enable
[80:16]us to see that how is it we can build our connection
[80:22]as human beings to surahul mul itself.
[80:26]And through building that strong connection with surahul mul inshallah it becomes
[80:33]a it becomes an announcement.
[80:34]It becomes a warning for us.
[80:39]It becomes a jolting and attention for us as to how we
[80:41]approach our life on this earth.
[80:45]So that we become very willing and daring to be able to
[80:48]take transfer the residence from this world to the life in that
[80:51]abort of the country.
[80:54]We pray to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that he inshallah gives us
[80:59]a inshallah to be able to become close to the Quran especially
[81:04]the connection with inshallah and we pray to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[81:09]that the recital of this surah inshallah will become which becomes a
[81:16]lesson for us and the for the inshallah and all other inshallah
[81:28]Well, meaning you and I are indeed blessed and very lucky and
[81:39]fortunate to be able to extend our condolences and to the family
[81:44]of the berd.
[81:44]Immediately since yesterday evening when the news of the said news of
[81:52]the passing of Abdom was out each and every person reached out
[81:58]to be able to send their condolences and sympathies to the B
[82:02]family members of the ber.
[82:05]Why do they do it?
[82:09]This is one occasion mean in all our lifetime is one when
[82:15]our humanity actually comes to life.
[82:18]There is no person on earth I can tell you when an
[82:20]occasion or the news of that takes place will in any way
[82:25]get pleasure in their hearts.
[82:26]They will immediately come to that fitra to that nature to that
[82:30]actual essence of human heart and that is become sorrowful extend sympathy
[82:36]and extend condolences and we make effort to even come to the
[82:43]gatherings or the misim like today and we find out how we
[82:45]can be close to the to the families of the bif and
[82:49]be able to support them.
[82:49]This is our human nature.
[82:54]In these days of ayat on the day of Ashur when the
[83:04]sun is now setting out when it is now the Shamariba there
[83:10]is a family of Aba Abdah Hussein.
[83:12]am there is a family of the noble companions of Aba Abdahisam
[83:20]who for three days have been hungry without have been thirsty without
[83:27]food who since the morning the time of fajar till the time
[83:31]of have become traumatized have become heartbroken have seen their clothes and
[83:38]near ones slaughtered not only slaughtered but after that They have seen
[83:43]the bodies of the shuhada, their close and near ones being laid
[83:50]out in line and the horses are being put on to trample
[83:53]upon the noble bodies of their beloved shuada at that time.
[83:58]This is the way the ummah went out to give condolence to
[84:03]the family of the B on the day of Asha.
[84:06]And amongst those family, amongst those who are grieving Mo was a
[84:13]young daughter by the name of Sakina.
[84:17][laughter] Can you imagine Mo in Sakina bint Hussein?
[84:21]How much traumatized she must have been at the end of the
[84:28]day?
[84:26]How much heart, how much heartbroken, how much mourning would Sakina be
[84:34]crying at the end of the day?
[84:36]And the enemies went to give condolence.
[84:39]Yes, the enemies went to give condolence but not condolence the way
[84:43]human beings like you and I give to a young child like
[84:48]Sakina.
[84:47]Do you know how did they give condolence?
[84:50]They went with bronze of fire and they went with whips and
[84:58]they slapped the sakina and they put the tents on fire and
[85:02]they even reach and the dhakirin say that part of the dresses
[85:06]of Sakina was put on fire and the little daughter was seen
[85:13]running out into the dark over there.
[85:15]This is the way.
[85:19]Condolences were given to the family of the shuada of the ya
[85:34]Allah.
[85:36]We pray to you by the vas of our beloved prophetam.
[85:41]And ya Allah we pray to you with this softening of our
[85:45]hearts and the moistening of our eyes.
[85:47]Ya Allah grant abundant mak and rahma to the mum.

[85:57]the berved to the family of the mum.

[86:05]We pray to you to please reward the family especially the close
[86:09]family members for this test which you have given not only in
[86:14]the life but the test of the separation of the beloved one
[86:16]and the test of the taking care of the ya Allah we
[86:21]pray to you for the arwa of all shuada for the of
[86:27]our family members and for the for all give them abundant forgiveness
[86:30]give them rah ya Allah for those who are not in good
[86:33]health we pray to you grant Ya Allah, we make special duas

[86:57]and void and defeated at all times.
[87:00]We make special dua to ya Allah for And ya Allah grant
[87:07]them good health, grant them long life and protect them from all

[87:18]and challenging times.
[87:28]with three las begin with recital of torches.
[89:12]Well,ch.
[89:20]Husseinb Hussein Hussein Hussein.
[89:44]Hussein.
[90:00]Aliham.
[90:32]Rahman.
