[0:28]um in our last lesson we were shedding light on verse 190
[0:58]of surat ali and we dissected the verse thoroughly by mentioning multiple
[1:06]points concerning the holy verse the verse was we said the reason
[1:17]why we're shedding light on this verse and the few other verses
[1:20]that come after it in surah ali is because last year we
[1:28]stopped um at the migration of imam ali and the falafel and
[1:33]we mentioned that uh before they reached rasulallah when rasulullah was waiting
[1:42]for them outside medina before they reached him they stopped at multiple
[1:48]places and whenever they would stop they would mention allah constantly and
[1:59]the mistress of the women of the worlds fatima zara and the
[2:05]fowatum he praised them in verses that are found today in the
[2:09]last uh portion of surat ali for this reason we wanted to
[2:15]shed light on these verses to have a good understanding of what
[2:18]allah says before we continue with the history of rasulallah we said
[2:25]that ultimately even if we're studying the biography of rasulallah uh we
[2:30]cannot ignore the holy quran for the holy quran is intertwined with
[2:38]rasulullah's life and every verse in the quran relates to rasulallah's life
[2:42]in one way or another so there's no contradiction by taking a
[2:46]few lessons on quranic verses before we continue with his biography especially
[2:51]that uh we will be mentioning certain issues concerning rasulallah for example
[2:58]last week we mentioned a hadith by imam assad he said i'm
[3:03]a very beautiful how he would worship him at night and apparently
[3:19]he's talking about salat how he would perform salat and we came
[3:24]to the conclusion after we read the hadith that based on that
[3:31]narration rasulullah read the verses of the verses were studying he read
[3:35]them three times nightly so three times every night he would contemplate
[3:41]and would recite these verses as he would be contemplating upon their
[3:47]meanings this tells us a lot about the verses we're studying especially
[3:53]if we remember as well that traditions command us to certain traditions
[4:02]command us to recite these verses when we wake up for salat
[4:07]so there's a connection between worshiping allah at night and reciting and
[4:14]contemplating upon these important verses the verse surely in the creation of
[4:28]the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and
[4:33]the day there are signs for men who understand we mentioned the
[4:38]importance of worshiping allah at night and that according to imam proximity
[4:44]to allah if someone wants to get closer to allah azzawajal then
[4:48]he must make use of the night the night is essential making
[4:52]use of the night doesn't mean you deprive yourself of sleep no
[4:56]ultimately you're a human being and you need sleep but it means
[5:01]make use make use of part of the night at least 5
[5:06]minutes at least 10 minutes at least 15 minutes of the night
[5:08]use those minutes to uh reach higher levels in the eyes of
[5:14]god subhanahu wata'ala and to fix your relationship with the almighty also
[5:21]we mentioned the meaning of the two meanings of we mentioned the
[5:25]meaning of the two meanings and finally which we stopped in this
[5:36]context means what it means the people of intellect the people who
[5:44]make use of their intellect and we mentioned a tradition by rasulullah
[5:55]he said this tradition is a famous tradition and uh it pertains
[6:03]to this verse and the few other verses in surat al-imran [Music]
[6:17][Music] uh recites these verses but does not contemplate does not ponder
[6:27]upon its meanings so contemplating on the meanings of these verses is
[6:32]essential that being said today inshallah we're going to shed light on
[6:39]the second verse verse 191 of surat al-amran so we may see
[6:44]what can we derive and what can we uh understand from that
[6:49]holy verse before we do so we're going to read a tradition
[6:54]by imam in which imam allah uses parts of this universe to
[7:02]confirm allah's existence remember we said last week based on this verse
[7:11]based on this verse you can use any segment in the universe
[7:19]to confirm allah's existence subhana any segment whether you're looking at the
[7:25]ant or the lion or the shooting star or the black hole
[7:35]or any creation out there any creation in you or around you
[7:40]you can prove allah's existence and you can also prove other things
[7:43]you can also prove other points pertaining to beliefs or morals what
[7:50]does it say let me paste the tradition copy and paste it
[7:56]for you in the chat section last week when we shared our
[8:02]screen uh we had technical difficulties so we'll just copy and paste
[8:06]it inshallah and you can read it with me so the hadith
[8:19]is found in the author cites the book which is a masterpiece
[8:29]written by sheikh salud in which he mentions plenty of traditions uttered
[8:33]by imam al-isram especially during the last years of his life when
[8:39]he was he was granted when moon uh supposedly chose him to
[8:45]be his successor and forced the imam to accept that successorship nonetheless
[8:50]the imam said what he regarding the traditions of imam in salaam
[9:09]pertaining to allah's unity imam says the following as he's confirming allah's
[9:17]existence he says what is he saying firstly he's using the human
[9:45]body to confirm allah's existence he's using the human body he's saying
[9:51]that i looked at my body and i realized that i cannot
[10:01]change my body in length or width i cannot make it shorter
[10:10]nor can i make it longer and i cannot make it wider
[10:19]or smaller before we continue before we continue a question comes to
[10:26]mind which is what is ima talking about because ultimately one might
[10:35]say i do have an amount of control over my body if
[10:38]i overeat every day ultimately i will become chubby or obese right
[10:46]i will change the size of my body similarly if i go
[10:50]on a diet on a serious strict diet then i'll become thinner
[10:56]so what is he talking about when he says that i realized
[11:03]i cannot change the length or the width of my body by
[11:07]making the length or width by making it greater or in better
[11:18]terms by adding to my width or length or by subtracting from
[11:23]both what does he mean it seems that imam already is not
[11:31]talking about changing your body based on the laws that were placed
[11:37]in this universe you see allah placed multiple laws in this universe
[11:42]if you work within those laws then obviously with allah's permission your
[11:48]actions will have an effect your actions will have an effect if
[11:55]allah permits right your actions will produce certain effects however it seems
[12:07]imam alvarez is talking here about controlling your own body without using
[12:15]the laws that allah placed in this universe controlling your own body
[12:21]based on your own will for example someone is short and he
[12:25]wants to grow taller if he wills to grow taller will he
[12:33]grow taller instantaneously no he won't similarly someone is very tall and
[12:39]he wishes that he was a bit shorter he wishes he was
[12:43]a bit shorter to have mercy on his head for example he
[12:46]keeps on bumping and bumping as he moves right or left bumping
[12:52]in obstacles for example can he actually shorten his length can he
[13:00]shorten it he can't similarly someone for example is overweight and he
[13:07]wants to lose weight if he wills to lose weight will he
[13:12]lose it as soon as he wills for that to happen no
[13:16]he won't and vice versa what does that indicate when i cannot
[13:23]increase or decrease the length or width of my body based on
[13:30]my own will what does that imply it implies that i am
[13:33]not the one in control of this universe and i am not
[13:37]the one who has absolutely full control over my body i don't
[13:43]think there is an intellectual who who dares to claim that he
[13:47]has absolutely full control over his body for at the moment as
[13:54]we're learning these hadith and these quranic verses there are multiple parts
[13:57]of our body that are working without our um commands correct your
[14:03]lungs are working your heart is working your brain is working who's
[14:08]making them work it's not me or you we're not pressing any
[14:11]buttons to make sure that they're working it's someone else who has
[14:16]supreme control so here when he says is confirming that since i
[14:31]cannot increase or decrease my length or width that in itself indicates
[14:36]that in itself indicates that i do not have absolute full control
[14:43]over my body hence the one who has absolute full control over
[14:48]my body must be someone else who's that someone it's the one
[14:56]we call god or allah subhanahu [Music] he also says i realize
[15:12]that i cannot push away hardship or things that i dislike from
[15:21]my body similarly i cannot bring forth and acquire benefit thus when
[15:28]i realized that i failed to acquire benefit and i failed to
[15:36]push away hardships and what i dislike i knew hallimtu meaning i
[15:45]knew that this body has a creator the literal translation of halim
[15:52]to and ali had gone i knew that this building has a
[15:58]builder but the meaning is i knew this body has a create
[16:02]here a second question comes to mind a question that resembles the
[16:07]first question which is what is imam already talking about ali salaam
[16:11]when he says that i cannot push away what i dislike from
[16:15]my body and i cannot bring forth benefit and acquire benefit bring
[16:22]forth benefit to my body what are you talking about when you
[16:26]look at the outer world we see that sometimes you can actually
[16:30]push away harm from yourself for example someone will be standing on
[16:37]the street and a car will be moving towards him so this
[16:42]person jumps towards the sidewalk to avoid the accident by jumping towards
[16:48]the sidewalk what happens he saves his life or he saves himself
[16:51]from severe harm so he's able to push away harm then again
[16:57]we're able to acquire benefit i know that eating apples is beneficial
[17:02]right napoli keeps the doctor away so i'll eat an apple every
[17:06]day i know that certain foods are beneficial certain drinks are beneficial
[17:08]so i'll consume them and i'll acquire benefit thus the question is
[17:15]what is imam talking about the answer is similar to the first
[17:19]answer to the first question isn't talking about pushing away harm or
[17:27]things that you dislike or acquiring benefit based on laws that allah
[17:34]has instilled in this universe rather he's talking about pushing away harm
[17:40]or things that you dislike and acquiring benefit based on your will
[17:48]based on your will not based on the laws that allah has
[17:54]instilled when we think about this point we realize what imam said
[18:02]is true and obviously it will be true realize sometimes i am
[18:13]i am afflicted with a sickness for example god forbid hiv or
[18:23]um cancer and i really want to heal myself and i jump
[18:31]from one doctor to the other but i feel in doing so
[18:33]what does that indicate it indicates that i cannot push away from
[18:37]harm from myself unless the one who is in supreme control allows
[18:44]me to similarly sometimes i want to acquire benefit i actually do
[18:51]i want to i want to learn but due to my circumstances
[18:59]i'm unable to travel to the cities of knowledge i'm unable to
[19:04]travel to the cities of knowledge and um have fun and uh
[19:13]i'm unable to acquire a good amount of knowledge in my own
[19:17]city so i want to acquire benefit but i can't to my
[19:25]circumstances what does that indicate it indicates that we cannot acquire true
[19:30]benefit unless allah permits us to unless the one who's in supreme
[19:36]control permits us to so and that the one who is in
[19:39]supreme control is the one we call god you have a question
[19:46]before i continue uh no no okay i'm gonna mute you just
[19:50]for the sake of not having not hearing sounds here and there
[19:55]okay this is why you'll realize that allah has two names has
[20:05]two names one of them is anatha the one who benefits others
[20:13]and abbar the one who harms others okay what is meant by
[20:17]the nafta is the one who has benefit within his control within
[20:22]his power no one can acquire benefit unless he permits them too
[20:28]and what is meant by the bar the one who harms is
[20:33]that allah will harm you if you deserve that harm for example
[20:38]he punishes the disbelievers is that a form of harm yes it
[20:42]is when he punishes them punishes them in hell fire it's a
[20:46]form of harm but they deserve it he's not doing anything unjust
[20:50]the second meaning that we understand from the name of god the
[20:57]one who harms is that no one no being can harm you
[21:01]unless what unless allah permits that being to harm you obviously here
[21:10]another question will come to mind which we can't answer thoroughly right
[21:15]now but we'll just touch upon it quickly and that is what
[21:21]if allah allows an oppressive human being to harm me what if
[21:27]he allows certain beings to harm me when i don't deserve that
[21:32]harm if he does so subhanallah then he does it for a
[21:37]wisdom he does it for a wisdom and he compensates you he
[21:41]compensates you for the harm that you receive with a reward that
[21:48]exceeds the harm you receive such that when you see that reward
[21:52]you will be completely satisfied with what happened to you in this
[21:59]world are my words clear concerning imam of those traditionalists he says
[22:33]based on this proof the proof pertaining to the human body i
[22:37]believed in the creator i confirmed his existence on top of that
[22:44]imam islam presented other proofs he said he mentioned he mentioned the
[22:52]galaxy and how planets orbit around the sun he said that this
[23:02]issue in itself the quran is orbit around the sun with allah's
[23:08]power subhanallah is another proof confirming his existence a third proof is
[23:16]what insha is sahab he mentioned how he mentioned the formation of
[23:23]clouds the formation of clouds in itself is a second or actually
[23:27]a third proof um confirming his existence which is definitely true subhanallah
[23:32]the world of clouds is uh is beautiful and if someone actually
[23:38]delves into that world and sees the different clouds that exist and
[23:43]how they're formed he will truly be mesmerized a fourth proof he
[23:50]says creating different types of winds different types of winds these different
[24:03]types of winds are all proofs of his existence sometimes you have
[24:08]a calm wind that's very soothing sometimes you have a violent wind
[24:12]that destroys cities such as a hurricane right so these different types
[24:20]of ones are also proofs of his existence then he says [Music]
[24:31]uh fifth or sixth proof uh proving his existence subhana wa ta'ala
[24:38]is the movement of what of the sun the moon and the
[24:46]stars the movement of the sun moon and stars realize subhanallah and
[24:57]hadith mentioned that there was a movement that there is a movement
[25:03]for the sun that the sun actually uh that the sun actually
[25:07]moves and today based on what the scientists say they say yes
[25:10]the sun that the the planets orbit around the sun but the
[25:16]sun also has its own movement and there are other wonderful signs
[25:30]marvelous signs proving his existence this is a glimpse and i'm not
[25:42]exaggerating when i say a glimpse of uh the sun excuse me
[25:53]the signs that allah points to when he says and this is
[26:04]a glimpse a very small glimpse of its knowledge this being said
[26:11]we move on to the second verse verse 191 allah said correct
[26:17]the intellectuals he mentioned those who use their intellect who make use
[26:24]of their intellect who are they allah describes them also let me
[26:36]copy and paste the verse for you so you can read it
[26:40]with me those who remember allah standing and sitting and lying on
[26:51]their sides and reflect on the creation of the heavens meaning the
[26:57]skies and the earth before we continue we need to uh shed
[27:01]light on one or two points in the in this part of
[27:08]the verse firstly he mentions that are people who mention allah in
[27:13]three different states when they stand when they sit and when they
[27:17]lie on their sides what does that indicate according to one interpretation
[27:22]it indicates that they mention allah at all times they mention the
[27:28]almighty subhanahu wata'ala at all times however we're going to read the
[27:35]tradition by imam and maybe today or next week if we're still
[27:38]alive um from which a tradition in which imam imam al-baqara is
[27:47]derives an islamic law pertaining to prayer from this verse and he
[28:00]uses the words to inform us that if someone is able to
[28:10]pray while standing then he should pray as he's standing if he's
[28:16]not able to pray as he's standing then he prays as he's
[28:18]sitting down and if he's not able to do that then he
[28:23]prays as he's lying on his side so what does that imply
[28:30]it implies that yes we can understand from the verse that allah
[28:34]is mentioning and describing them to be people who mention allah at
[28:45]all times but we can also confirm that allah might be uh
[28:52]allah might be telling you that they also mention god in these
[28:58]three different states in these three different states here one of the
[29:09]commentators on the quran made a beautiful comment he said look at
[29:13]the verse first the allah mentions mentioning allah and then he mentions
[29:23]mentioning allah and pondering upon what the creation of the skies and
[29:32]the earth he says based on that we can understand that when
[29:36]we mention allah subhanahu wa mentioning him is not enough rather we
[29:41]need to be thinking about uh what we're saying or about allah
[29:49]or about the signs of allah etc for example after every prayer
[29:54]it is recommended to perform correct it is the the supreme keeper
[30:00]it's the most important taking is a beautiful vicar however we'll find
[30:11]ourselves sometimes doing this without actually paying attention to what we're saying
[30:16]right we say allahu akbar allah it's good it's still good it
[30:28]will instill light in your heart but if we would if we
[30:32]want to maximize the benefit of the hazara or any specific invocation
[30:37]then thinking upon what we're saying will do so for example when
[30:44]i perform this and i say allahu akbar let me remember that
[30:53]allahu akbar and yusuf that allah is so great you cannot describe
[30:59]him every description fails to describe his reality when i say alhamdulillah
[31:06]all praise belongs to allah let me remember different bounties he has
[31:12]given me such as my hand my ear my eye my fan
[31:14]members my my imam the most important blessing allah has given me
[31:19]the existence of sahaba zaman with me on earth and when i
[31:26]say subhan allah exalted as allah let me remember the negative attributes
[31:31]of god that he's not stingy that he's not evil that he
[31:34]is not oppressive etc the bottom line is what vicker is beautiful
[31:43]mentioning allah is needed but thicker is more important so if we
[31:51]want to maximize the benefit of zikr invoking god mentioning god then
[31:57]we need to also think upon allah signs and what we are
[32:03]saying we have a tradition by rasulullah i believe i mentioned mentioned
[32:11]it last week but we'll mention it again actually we have multiple
[32:15]traditions confirming this specific reality which is thinking is more important than
[32:24]uh worshipping when you actually think upon allah signs or your prayer
[32:29]your invocations that is more important the eyes of allah than uh
[32:33]merely worshipping him without thinking hence we have a tradition by rasulallah
[32:39]which says there is no worship like what like thinking and the
[32:48]thinking thinking sometimes when you think you think about as we said
[32:52]allah's creations right just as imam al-assad when he proved allah's existence
[32:59]through the human body sometimes not you think about how far you're
[33:03]in heaven so you feel afraid from jahannam and you feel eager
[33:09]to enter heaven that is a very important type of thinking we
[33:13]need it sometimes not you think about your imam and subhanallah as
[33:20]soon as you remember him you feel that there is light which
[33:24]penetrated through your heart the first says and they think they reflect
[33:43]on the creation of the skies and the earth they reflect on
[33:48]the creation of the skies and earth here the same commentator makes
[33:53]a second a second comment he says that um thicker is more
[34:02]important than dicker but then again thicket is also not enough thicker
[34:09]is not enough and now figure is not enough what should we
[34:15]do he says you need vicker vicker must take you to thinking
[34:21]about allah or what you're saying and faker must take you to
[34:26]what to what's what we call it actually reach a state in
[34:33]which you behave in accordance with your thoughts aren't you thinking about
[34:39]allah aren't you thinking about his universe his mercy his signs etc
[34:44]let your beliefs and behavior uh correspond with those with with those
[34:51]thoughts how do they correspond with with those thoughts they correspond with
[34:57]with the thoughts when you obey allah so the goal of the
[35:08]goal behind thinking about allah's signs is what is driving lessons and
[35:15]finally implementing your thoughts why does the commentator make this uh this
[35:23]note because based on the verse we're going to see that are
[35:29]people who move from zikr to ficker to the verse says see
[35:44]they took a lesson they say our lord thou has not created
[35:50]this in vain they're thinking about the universe and they're taking a
[35:55]lesson they're saying allah we see beautiful wisdom we see a beautiful
[36:02]a beautiful manifestation of your wisdom mercy and other attributes thus we
[36:11]confirm that you did not create this universe for no reason no
[36:17]no there is a reason there is a good reason and there
[36:21]is a lot of wisdom behind the creation of the universe when
[36:27]we shed light on any segment in the universe we we we
[36:34]see this we see allah's wisdom thus i remind you and myself
[36:46]uh which has lessons given by imam salah salaam tomorrow allah's oneness
[36:55]allah's unity imam al-sadiq mentions countless wisdoms in this universe and i'll
[37:01]give you an example i'll give you an example today regarding the
[37:06]egg look at what imam allah let me just copy and paste
[37:14]the tradition for you subhanallah ah it can derive lessons from everything
[37:20]and you are the first thing we think of is what eating
[37:24]it's ah added right or not like that they derive lessons okay
[37:31]this is the first part of the [Music] um of the hadith
[37:44]here's the second part i'm sorry i'm going to have to dissect
[37:50]it or divide it into parts and here's the third part okay
[37:54]so he says he says look at the egg and derive a
[38:20]lesson as you look at the egg and you ponder upon it
[38:25]and upon what and upon the chick that is formed inside of
[38:31]the egg firstly he sheds light on two main parts in the
[38:34]egg which are the yolk the yellowish part which is viscous and
[38:43]the um the the white part called albumin albumin which is less
[38:50]dense than the yolk right it's more light hence he says we
[38:58]have two versions for this hadith here he's talking about the yolk
[39:06]which is yellow and it's dense right it's viscous he says part
[39:29]of the egg is made so that allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala turns it
[39:37]into the chick and the other part of the egg is made
[39:42]so that the chick uses it to nourish itself here we need
[39:48]to take a pause and remember the fetus the human fetus the
[39:55]human fetus nourishes itself through what through the blood of its mother
[39:59]correct hence a pregnant lady is responsible of feeding two people if
[40:04]you think about it herself and her fetus because ultimately the food
[40:11]she eats will turn into blood and the fetus will be nourished
[40:16]through her blood the question is how does the chick get nourished
[40:23]where does it find its nourishment when it is separated from its
[40:32]mom the egg comes out from the chicken the imam says it's
[40:35]as if he's telling you don't think allah forgot about this right
[40:40]or he made a mistake instilled the sustenance of the chick in
[40:46]the egg then he says so part of the egg was made
[40:57]so that the chick may nourish itself from it until the egg
[41:03]cracks and the chick comes out to this world the affair of
[41:15]this chick realize the hadith says but i believe the original version
[41:29]said la ma lama not saying the imam made a mistake in
[41:32]failure but possibly um one of the people who wrote the tradition
[41:39]of made a mistake when writing it it should be nonetheless i'll
[41:47]read it the way it is that the chick is imprisoned in
[42:11]the egg and the egg has a shell which is rigid which
[42:16]is solid right now nothing can penetrate through that shell so the
[42:21]sustenance of this ship cannot come from outside because he's completely imprisoned
[42:28]inside the egg thus he says he says for that reason allah
[42:33]subhanahu wa'ta'ala placed its food inside of the egg meaning the substance
[42:39]it will need to actually turn into a chicken come into this
[42:46]world he placed enough sustenance for it until the time comes until
[42:54]the time of its emergence comes then he gave an example analogy
[43:10]behind he says that chick inside the egg is like a person
[43:20]who's imprisoned imprisoned in a prison that is completely closed completely locked
[43:32]such that no one enters upon that individual that prisoner will be
[43:40]left with an amount of food which will suffice him up until
[43:46]the day he comes out of what of the prison that is
[43:50]the example that is the example of the check but here you
[44:00]see allah's wisdom subhana and you also remember the the issue of
[44:07]sustenance allah azzawajal the almighty did not forget a chick and made
[44:11]sure to instill sustenance in its egg so it may turn into
[44:15]a chick and come out into this world then obviously he will
[44:21]not forget me in you nor will he forget any of us
[44:28]subhana wa and he'll ensure to give us our sustenance to bring
[44:33]our sustenance to us or to lead us to our sustenance this
[44:40]is what a very small fragment of the universe yet you see
[44:48]how much wisdom lies in it you did not create this universe
[45:00]for no reason ah there is a reason before we continue the
[45:11]verse one will ask what is the reason okay there is a
[45:17]reason what is the reason why did he create subhana wata'ala creations
[45:23]and why did he create so many creations let us go to
[45:30]the one who can answer let us go to the lady of
[45:34]life as she explains why allah created his creations in her fedex
[45:53]here is the the part we shall be dissecting okay she mentions
[46:03]in her in the fatakia sermon the creations and after it she
[46:09]describes allah after she mentions that allah created his creations although there
[46:18]was nothing in existence other than himself and there wasn't a previous
[46:22]model he could use to actually create a new universe meaning allah
[46:31]created the universe without being taught he already knew how to do
[46:38]it and he had not been shown by someone else how to
[46:41]create and what to create yet he knew because his knowledge is
[46:48]what infinite and it is timeless he says when he created the
[46:57]creations he was not in need of creating them so don't think
[47:01]that he was in need of his creations thus he brought them
[47:04]out of in existence into existence it's not that he felt lonely
[47:09]and he wanted some company no god subhanahu wata'ala doesn't mind remaining
[47:16]alone in existence but there were reasons behind our creation and she
[47:23]will mention them he did not benefit whatsoever by creating his creations
[47:35]and by giving them their images giving them their appearance then why
[47:42]did he create the old lady of light he says she says
[47:48]she presents five reasons why he created the universe including you and
[47:54]i first the first reason is confirming his wisdom he wants to
[48:04]show his beings the impeccable wisdom that he holds that he has
[48:09]subhanallah how does he show us his wisdom through his creations as
[48:13]we saw when we read the hadith regarding the egg the second
[48:19]reason what so he may keep his slaves and his creations on
[48:33]the path of his obedience here you might say what's the relationship
[48:38]what is the relationship between remaining on the path of his obedience
[48:44]and creating different beings there's a relationship ultimately allah shows you his
[48:52]greatness power mercy generosity life etc through his creations right so the
[49:01]more you understand of this universe the more humble you'll feel towards
[49:06]allah the more humility you'll feel and the more you'll be inclined
[49:11]towards obeying such a lord secondly secondly a second point we can
[49:20]derive from this point that says is um the creations he creates
[49:30]benefit each other correct for example when we look at foods and
[49:37]drinks allah created fruits allah created vegetables allah created animals allah created
[49:41]grains etc and he created different types of beverages all of these
[49:48]are what their blessings to us and or to other animals when
[49:52]i see that he has created so many creations that benefit me
[49:56]subhana this will push me towards what towards thanking him and i
[50:02]can't thank allah properly unless i do what he wants me to
[50:09]do which is obeying him so by creating different creations many creations
[50:15]allah azzawajal helps us to actually stay firm on the path of
[50:21]his obedience because we remember that we need to thank him for
[50:25]what he created he says had allah not created heaven or hell
[50:33]it would be incumbent upon his servants to to worship him it
[50:38]would still be incumbent upon his servants to worship why he says
[50:46]out of thankfulness because he deserves he deserves to be thanked i
[50:52]save your life for example you're drowning and i save your life
[50:58]the least i deserve is what is a thank you that's the
[51:03]least i deserve but imagine if i save your life and you
[51:07]don't thank me you look at me okay or you give me
[51:13]a dirty look and you walk away what will people say what
[51:18]will intellectuals say they'll say this is improper this person has done
[51:25]a sin a sin pertaining to morals and he deserves to be
[51:30]this praise for what he has done because the intellect tells you
[51:35]when someone does a favor to you you should thank him now
[51:39]thanking him might be through words or it might be through actions
[51:43]i can thank the one who saved me from drowning by buying
[51:46]him a car by giving him chocolate by giving him flowers there
[51:51]are multiple ways of doing it but i need to think for
[51:56]the imam says had allah not created heaven or hell you o
[52:00]people would still be responsible and it would still be incumbent upon
[52:05]you to worship him because he deserves to be thanked next week
[52:12]inshallah we'll continue with the five reasons that say the fatim mentions
[52:17]as she explains why allah created his creations [Music] foreign
