[12:23]is alhamdulillah spending all his time trying to gather the people in
[12:27]the mosque so they are people people usually these leaders and organizers
[12:31]like my our brother Hadi shami over here sacrificing everything in his
[12:36]wife is going to leave him after these two weeks God bless
[12:38]you he's just always in the mosque always working always with the
[12:44]people these brothers usually around the world they're the brothers that are
[12:47]trying to give back because they gained a lot when they were

[12:58]when they were younger they sought knowledge and then they reached a
[13:04]point where they remain there for a very long time they reached

[17:41]to do is make your intention to be a knowledge seeker and
[17:44]start to consume real knowledge in the Quran Allah says that insan
[17:54]must look toward his food where it comes from says here means
[18:01]you must look towards where your knowledge comes from so the first
[18:08]thing you do is set your compass correctly who are your guides
[18:13]who are your teachers you must have a teacher either online or
[18:16]in person but don't think anyone that comes wearing this is your
[18:20]teacher this doesn't mean anything maybe we respect this just because of
[18:24]what it represents but it doesn't mean that people have knowledge these
[18:27]days people look around everywhere they put theama on themselves and you
[18:32]cannot ask for a CV you cannot ask for the qualifications what
[18:35]did you get in your exam M but we are in a
[18:42]time of charlatans and W I say it charans everywhere so you
[18:47]must be aware don't think just because someone came up on Instagram

[20:26]the Quran to know about the Quran the different concepts that relate
[20:31]to the Quran this is a very important topic to study the
[20:34]heritage of to know about our books to know about and and
[20:42]the narrations of the and what they say to be close to
[20:44]the words of the ultimately in my opinion the first thing that
[20:49]we should do is learn Arabic so that you can read Quran
[20:52]and you can understand the words of Allah subhana wa tala this
[20:54]is the key to knowledge language is the key to knowledge in

[21:01]write that was a dangerous slave they would off that slave very

[22:34]by reading 10 pages a day the idea is you become a
[22:39]diligent knowledge Seeker you're not here just going with the flow and
[22:42]then in mam you go you sit down in the lecture and
[22:45]you listen and that's it that's not the point of this we
[22:49]want to be knowledge Seekers each and every single one of us
[22:52]doesn't matter who you are you are all all of you must
[22:56]be all of you how or you must be you want knowledge
[23:03]you want to understand the secrets doesn't matter who you are old
[23:08]young boy girl mother sick whatever it is whatever your situation you
[23:13]must commit yourself to knowledge to learning in learning with a sincere
[23:18]heart that you're doing it for Allah subh not to seem like
[23:24]you are someone who is very smart and that you can debate
[23:26]but someone who is learning for Allah then you will see and
[23:31]experience in the way your mind operates in the way your heart
[23:37]opens you will reach limits you never knew Horizons you never saw
[23:40]within yourself you start to experience the light but not from information
[23:45]because of your intention and sincerity in seeking this knowledge you start
[23:50]to go through this experience so then you must decide your techniques
[23:56]your subjects and then give yourself some time every single day I
[24:00]said 10 pages that's not a lot of reading that's just reading
[24:03]but to study is more than reading to study is listen you
[24:06]sit down you engage in intellectual conversation you write notes if you
[24:12]really want to do this properly then every single day you must
[24:15]commit three hours to seeking knowledge in this way if you can't
[24:22]do three hours you do two hours if you can't do two
[24:26]hours do one hour if you can't do one hour half an
[24:28]hour a day just half an hour a day I know no
[24:31]one's going to do 3 hours so I started there so that
[24:34]you can feel like okay I'll do half an hour if you
[24:38]want to go to Allah like a rocket 3 hours you want
[24:42]to go like a turtle half an hour but at least you're
[24:45]going but I started at the top you know if I want
[24:50]to sell a car half an hour a day man seek knowledge

[25:56]room belongs to Imam M because we paid for it with the
[26:00]money of the Believers so this room you're living in is IM
[26:03]M's room so you're sleeping in IM M's room and the food
[26:08]you eat is M's food so your meat the meat your Flesh

[26:24]from you is to study but you have a contract between you

[27:21]pray we eat I rest a little bit it's 2:00 with did
[27:25]other 2 hours that's 8 hours I go to the gym come
[27:26]back it's 6:00 three more hours is 9:00 p.m.

[29:18]times no you can't rely only on these lectures this is just
[29:25]a beginning this is a spark this is supposed to be setting
[29:29]you on your way you must go and engage in study and
[29:31]seek knowledge and there are ways to do that now all everything
[29:37]is available online there are no excuses to remain stagnant there are
[29:41]no excuses to remain stagnant when it comes to the seeking of
[29:44]knowledge however there is a weakness when it comes to seeking knowledge
[29:53]a great weakness and that is just because we have knowledge does
[29:57]not mean that we apply it and that type of knowledge does
[30:05]not benefit anyone in fact that can be one of the greatest
[30:09]curses and this is the double-edged sword of being because knowledge by
[30:16]the words of IM can be he says it can be the
[30:23]greatest hijab between you and Allah so I'm telling you knowledge knowledge
[30:26]I say hijab when it's insincere if it is insincere then this
[30:34]becomes a problem then you become someone that seems very smart and
[30:39]you can run intellectual laps around people all the time but it's
[30:46]not for Allah then light will never enter enter into your heart
[30:49]it has to be for Allah that is the condition on the
[30:54]outside I'm studying you're studying but I might not be sincere and
[30:57]you are we can recite the same words and we know the
[31:03]same material but your knowledge is infused with light because of your
[31:08]sincerity and that opens Horizons andif inside you whereas here with this
[31:14]insincerity I am serving only myself and in the report of the
