Imam Hussain (a) - The Oppressed Seeker of Justice – By Shaykh Kadhim Yasin | Labbayk Series
Peace be upon you O Aba ‘Abdillah, and upon the souls that resided in your courtyard [after being martyred with you]!
Peace of Allah be upon all of you from me forever, as long as I am existent and as long as there are days and nights!
And may Allah [SWT] not ordain this to be my last opportunity to visit you,
Peace be upon Hussain,
upon Ali ibn Hussain,
upon the sons of Hussain,
and upon the companions of Hussain.
Join us as we bid farewell to our beloved Imam Hussain (a), and the martyrs of Karbala, in the fourth episode of the “Labbayk” series, in which Shaykh Kadhim Yasin discusses the significance of the sacrifice of Imam Hussain (a), who was an embodiment of the virtues of the Holy Qur’an, whilst analysing what he (a) truly sought from the battle of Karbala.
As our beloved Imam (a) stood by himself on the 10th of Muharram, calling:
“Is there anyone who can help us? Is there anyone to come to our aid? Is there anyone to defend the sanctity of the Messenger of Allah [SWT]!”
With soaking tears, unending love, we respond: “Labbayka Ya Hussain, Labbayka Ya Mahdi!”
