[0:06]brothers and sisters it's great to see you all joining us for

[0:10]the third and final night of the annual myc at a brain

[0:12]program as always we'd like to start the program with the recitation

[0:16]of the holy quran recited today in arabic by brother abdul rahman

[0:19]and the english translation by sister maryam so please welcome them with

[5:42]the sun and its brilliance and the moon when it follows the

[5:47]sun and the day when it shows it and the night when

[5:49]it draws a veil over it and the heaven and him who

[5:53]made it and the earth and him who extended it and the

[5:56]soul and him who made it perfect then he inspired it to

[6:01]understand what is right and wrong for it he will indeed be

[6:04]successful he purifies it and he will indeed fail who corrupts it

[6:08]samut gave to the lot gave the lie to the truth in

[6:13]their inordinancy when the most unfortunate of them broke forth with it

[6:16]so allah's apostle said to them leave them leave alone a lushy

[6:22]camel and give her to drink but they called him a liar

[6:26]and slaughtered her therefore their lord crushed them for their sin and

[6:28]leveled them with the ground and he fears not its consequence sadaqah

[8:03]make this all cyclical it's important to take action so if i

[9:30]and you'd see oceans collapse from our silence we don't only fight

[9:33]for the love in our hearts we don't only fight for the

[9:36]love in our hearts but also for the nature that was left

[9:39]mourning hussein the injustices against our prides may leave our breath shallow

[9:42]our fists turn cold and numb but how many of us have

[9:47]still stood as centuries these martyrs their blood is priceless these martyrs

[9:51]their blood is priceless just as those 72 stood worth more than

[9:54]the heavens hussein and his supporters are our supporters so let us

[9:59]never fail them when allah says be patient with a beautiful patience

[10:03]are we doing anything but when we dress in our armor and

[10:08]stand defiantly our hearts never tire because his infinite power is our

[10:12]greatest supporter each of our backbones rely on his majesty and let

[10:15]it manifest with our awaited mahdi these explosions are not our losses

[10:20]nor are they hurtful they act only as our driving force behind

[10:23]each prayer and moment of faith that hussein's story be a testament

[10:28]to our unwavering strength and let his supporters continue to inspire our

[10:32]fight and its beauty it is our ability to fight it is

[10:35]our ability to fight till our bodies and that all have envied

[10:39]they ask and they inquire about our grandeur and fearlessness so we

[10:43]give them answers that only point to the ship of salvation there's

[10:47]nothing worth more to us even when our bodies lay apart the

[10:50]taste of martyrdom we are all craving and we trample upon all

[10:55]the ridicule our lives incomplete when death reached at the service of

[11:01]their infallibility our lives incomplete without death reached at the service of

[11:06]their infallibility tell me if our lives are sanctioned to emulate their

[11:08]way of beauty how can we not offer each second and become

[11:12]their devoted protectors i swear by god we'd let this next breath

[11:15]be our last if it provides us with the taste of honey

[11:19]hussein's army was not only for his protection but also for our

[11:23]own so let ali akbar fuel your devotion and let costume provide

[11:47]only derived when we fight our oppressors and crush the heads of

[11:55]not fuel your heart does that not provide armor enough does that

[11:57]not give your heart its purpose and i tell you from our

[12:01]love we've lost our sanity but we've remained calm in our battles

[13:39]brain program before we move on to our main lecture i have

[13:43]a few announcements i'd like to go over brothers and sisters the

[13:48]uh nyc will be having its annual birth of the prophet dinner

[13:53]inshallah to next month december 10th at the vintage bad cultural center

[13:56]tickets can be purchased online at nyconline.org or at the nyc table

[14:01]in the back if you speak to any of the mrc members

[14:03]also the nyc would like to remind you that it will be

[14:07]continuing its regular friday night programs every friday night 8pm at wise

[14:10]academy inshallah brothers and sisters also the nyc is always in need

[14:15]of volunteers alhamdulillah it's open to volunteers from all ages uh specifically

[14:21]for the youth of the community especially for high school students who

[14:26]require volunteer hours they can definitely volunteer the myc and use it

[14:31]towards towards the requirements you can speak to any of the nyc

[14:33]members at the nyc table in the back we have several volunteer

[14:37]opportunities open and also i ask you all brothers and sisters to

[14:41]please stick around after the lecture for a couple more announcements alhamdulillah

[14:45]brothers and sisters we have been blessed to have joining us for

[14:49]these three nights of art is a renowned speaker who has traveled

[14:53]worldwide to lecture on islam he has a graduate from the university

[14:58]of colorado with a degree in molecular biology and psychology moved to

[15:02]derwent from new york where he founded the taohed institute and ran

[15:07]a successful internet company called netsite corporation which specializes in e-commerce and

[15:14]e-business hasanan is also the director of camp toha the world's first

[15:16]worldwide muslim-owned camp in columbia ville michigan he is currently the founder

[15:22]and director of wise academy in deborah heights a private college and

[15:25]prep school so without further ado please help me in welcoming hasan

[17:08]i begin in allah's name and it's a blessing that we have

[17:12]this opportunity together whether it's in celebration or in commemoration both are

[17:19]blessings of allah and the fact that allah has given us the

[17:23]opportunity to represent him on this earth it's a transient world as

[17:28]we know and this is a world where there is no way

[17:32]we can be stable no matter what we do there is instability

[17:35]but the stability as i mentioned in summary is the fact that

[17:39]we make efforts to realize what the true function of our existence

[17:42]is which is to connect with allah this sentence is the foundation

[17:50]of all conversations allah created us we're returning to him only he

[17:55]is eternal only he is stable only he is the absolute and

[17:59]only he is the absolute good when we understand this thoroughly thoroughly

[18:04]in our trials and tribulations in this world we will begin to

[18:09]realize and become submissive because ultimately no matter how much wealth we

[18:12]acquire how much notoriety we acquire no matter what we get in

[18:18]this world no matter how many empires we build we have to

[18:23]let go of that allah says your wealth and your family are

[18:38]the beauty of this world they're a blessing and by the way

[18:41]acquiring wealth and being rich and being a billionaire and living in

[18:44]nice homes is not forbidden in islam islam actually promotes that that

[18:50]the standards of our community should elevate we should all be minimum

[18:53]middle class middle upper upper class no problem poverty should be eradicated

[19:00]islam promotes that even the quran allah says who made haram for

[19:10]you the good things that god has made on this earth these

[19:12]are good things for you and allah says in the day of

[19:16]judgment it's exclusively for the good doers the believers because allah says

[19:20]i am a maker of good things but i allow you to

[19:23]destroy it and i cause havoc so that you realize and appreciate

[19:26]the mercy that is given to us you will notice humans when

[19:32]they are threatened they become more cognizant of the value of the

[19:36]threat you find mothers against drunk driving become more prevalent beings that

[19:41]are going to be very proactive against drunk driving because somebody they

[19:46]love especially their children were killed due to drunk driving that destruction

[19:50]leads to greater construction but that doesn't mean we should put ourselves

[19:54]in the way of destruction we should work to constantly construct but

[19:59]understand the whole holistic system of allah system that when there is

[20:05]destruction when there is a loss when we do have problems in

[20:07]trials and tribulations it's holistically good but at the moment it's very

[20:13]painful it's what we call tough love sometimes the commemoration of karbala

[20:17]is precisely the lesson of how to deal with tough love as

[20:21]i mentioned no one is more deserving of praise and honor and

[20:26]happiness and pleasure than prophets and imams they are chosen agents of

[20:32]god and their families who god has chosen specifically to deliver the

[20:36]message of allah yet they were the ones who received the most

[20:39]punishment in society they were the ones who were killed the most

[20:43]they were the ones who were abused the most imprisoned the most

[20:46]lied upon the most you know so why is that the case

[20:50]shouldn't rationality say that when god chooses an agent that's the agent

[20:54]that should be the most comfortable well allah is showing us that

[20:58]on this earth it's not the prescription as such though we should

[21:01]make every effort to bring peace and harmony and justice and to

[21:06]live in an equitable peaceful manner on this earth but beware allah

[21:10]says that while you do it the evil forces will come against

[21:15]you and i'm a true believer that the way we subdue the

[21:18]evil forces is when the good forces become the most prominent figures

[21:22]when there is a lot of good in society then evil has

[21:27]a difficult time promoting its its destructive manners but when you and

[21:32]i claim to be good and we are silent and we are

[21:37]not progressive and we're not proactive and we do not prevent evil

[21:41]then evil will take over us and we will become its slaves

[21:45]karbala is precisely that situation where people allowed evil forces to come

[21:50]to power and when that power reached its pinnacle it became intensely

[21:57]destructive to the extent that it even lost its vision such that

[21:59]within the first three years yazid killed imam hussain desecrated the you

[22:06]know desecrated the prophet's mosque the masjid you know madinat these are

[22:14]the symbols these are the foundations of islam the very one who's

[22:18]claiming to be the khalifa in islam is destroying the very foundation

[22:22]of islam this is how shaytan works he says i will destroy

[22:25]you from the heart and then of course the third he burnt

[22:29]the kaaba i mean if i ask any muslim in the world

[22:32]today let's go burn the prophet's mosque let's go desecrate it and

[22:36]put monkeys on it in it and let the dogs wander in

[22:40]the masjid of the prophet and then let's take fireballs and cannons

[22:43]and drop it on the kaaba which muslim will tell you you're

[22:45]a good person which muslim in his proper mind which non-muslim will

[22:50]tell you you're a good muslim which person with half a brain

[22:55]will tell you a good person we had a khalifa who did

[22:57]that who came and burned all these three that abject recklessness can

[23:01]only be possible when the people acquiesce to such leadership yesterday i

[23:07]talked about partially that we find today when the presidency is taking

[23:11]place people with enormous wealth who are liars cheaters xenophobes bigots islamophobes

[23:19]yet they're coming to power there's all these protests on the streets

[23:25]i think the greatest protest is when you and i unite as

[23:29]a community when we look at each other with dignity and we

[23:33]promote goodness and not allow wretched and wicked politicians to reach power

[23:37]it's easier said than done agreed but i believe at the grassroots

[23:42]level when you and i as a community get together and we

[23:45]work together to unite ourselves for the good cause of reaching allah

[23:50]in an upright way maintain your faces upright towards allah this is

[24:05]the system of god when you and i promote that and not

[24:09]bigotry and not backbiting and not divisiveness where we cause backbiting and

[24:16]divisions within our community then the enemy will use us as agents

[24:20]by which they will promote their wickedness so let's be very careful

[24:26]with that salah you'll see that tonight as you know yesterday these

[24:35]three nights let me establish a few principle points so i don't

[24:39]lose my chain of thought people may be asking why do we

[24:42]commemorate well arbain is a tradition quran even mentions it in some

[24:54]ways but the real principle of arabin is that we don't forget

[24:56]when a tragic event takes place and then you commemorate it within

[25:02]the 40 days and on the 40th day you commemorate it again

[25:05]it's basically setting a standard that's this event should never be forgotten

[25:09]hence it's also its impetus behind it is that within 40 days

[25:15]if you have understood its value hopefully within the 40 days after

[25:20]a momentous event takes place it takes time to absorb what just

[25:25]happened what do i need to do with this message see when

[25:30]musa went up to the mountain allah kept him up there for

[25:33]40 days people lost faith in him they made an idol out

[25:38]of a golden calf and started to worship it so when we

[25:44]look at imam hussain alaihissalam let's not be cyclical in crying tears

[25:48]for the sake of crying tears it says and then we cry

[25:53]and beat ourselves but we don't do anything progressive we don't bring

[25:57]unity this is not what imam was saying went to karbala for

[25:58]for you and i to cry so that these tears will save

[26:02]us on judgment day that's not how the religion of allah works

[26:04]we should not belittle the great sacrifice of imam hussain with mere

[26:10]tears tears are very important crying and having love and to show

[26:15]expressions of grief are within the system of islam even when hamza

[26:23]was martyred in uh the messenger commanded the people of madina to

[26:27]go to the house of hamza to cry in the house of

[26:30]hamza it's a tradition of the prophet it's a sunnah but what

[26:33]do we do we just become cyclical criers we put on the

[26:40]black garb we become very sad and we mourn often i ask

[26:43]people how many lectures have you heard says oh hundreds what did

[26:46]you derive did you understand or hate from it the bigotry continues

[26:52]within our community we're still bigots we're still racist we're still tribal

[26:57]we're still backbiters we're still cheaters then what did we gain out

[27:04]of the message of karbala you think imam hussain just went so

[27:08]that he should become a hero no he is the upholder of

[27:11]truth he is the upholder of justice tawasso that when yazid wanted

[27:19]him to submit to the evil ways such that the the moral

[27:23]prescription is becomes oblivious becomes hidden so no one understands what is

[27:29]hakan battle imam says never i'm going to teach my people what

[27:33]is hakken battle so that tomorrow when tyrants come to them they

[27:39]stand firm and yes within our community there are groups that have

[27:42]understood this message and masha'allah masha'allah the ones who have really understood

[27:48]this message are at the borderline of nations today that are invading

[27:51]and robbing people's lands and they are the most powerful indomitable forces

[27:56]today that even the western nations are trembling at their names muhammad

[28:06]we know who we're talking about they put it in action they

[28:12]put it in practice they don't have the most sophisticated weaponry but

[28:18]they make the whole west having you know inability to sleep presidents

[28:25]of these nations cannot sleep they're in trepidation how do we eradicate

[28:30]these resistance groups and then they're wondering how do they get their

[28:37]strength and they're so smart even with sub-level armaments they're able to

[28:43]defend themselves who are these people the mafia is saying listen i'm

[28:47]the boss in town i want to crush everybody but these standards

[28:51]who hold the standards of allah and united nations is wondering who

[28:56]are these people they're not that rich as we are they haven't

[28:59]conquered of the lands as we have we have controlled the media

[29:05]but then they arise because they've understood the message of imam said

[29:09]they are proactive they are wise they're united their message is for

[29:14]the positive they don't divide the ummah it's not sunni against against

[29:18]shia it's insane altogether hold on to the rope of allah together

[29:26]and do not cause division this fundamental principle when it's put into

[29:31]practice even giant nations that have nuclear worms that can destroy this

[29:36]planet a hundred times are terrified the last verse know that muhammad

[31:05]of allah we would reach insanity but our imam was so high

[31:08]in stature that he said yes we have come to sacrifice our

[31:11]role on earth is to sacrifice for humanity so that we stand

[31:15]upright us minor problems we abandon we run we give up we

[31:20]change we join the enemy forces leave that alone within our community

[31:26]we cannot be divided how are we going to present the religion

[31:28]of allah if we ourselves cannot be united within our communities we

[31:36]have divisions and because we have difference of opinion and i told

[31:41]you yesterday who doesn't have a different set of opinion there are

[31:44]no two people on earth who have similar opinions on everything impossible

[31:48]to have same opinions impossible so now i fight you because i

[31:53]don't agree with you rather than say what's the mission of this

[31:58]disagreement we come to an equitable agreement that your way is different

[32:01]from my way but let's work together to promote the bigger end

[32:05]do we do that even within our centers today we have divisions

[32:11]all our centers in this town and everywhere in the world and

[32:15]i'm not addressing this town these videos are being watched all over

[32:17]the world it's not here when i mention directors of institutions or

[32:21]whatever it's not this town it's all over the world this problem

[32:25]is prevalent everywhere even at the presidential level i mentioned yesterday the

[32:28]problem of people submitting due to people's wealth is very common common

[32:33]ground imam ali alaysalam says you choose these leaders not on the

[32:37]basis of the qualities of taqwa on the basis of the quality

[32:39]of vision and the ability to lead mankind but rather what they've

[32:44]accomplished in their material senses like the size of the shoe are

[32:49]we united you know if i was the enemy from the outside

[32:53]you know how easy it would be for me to create chaos

[32:55]in this community or any community within islam or within non-islam that's

[33:00]divided if you ever see how the romans ruled it was by

[33:02]the principles of divide and conquer the british empire divided and conquer

[33:06]and the british continue to divide and the very people who migrated

[33:11]from that land to this land continue to divide today you look

[33:13]at the middle east it's a hell hall of divisions isn't it

[33:16]and they make it public they tell you daniel pipe says there

[33:21]should never be peace in the middle east and he is the

[33:23]head for peace in middle east can you imagine the contradiction he's

[33:27]the head of peace in the middle east and he's making a

[33:37]because these muslims especially these arabs should never get together because they

[33:42]may rule us because they know the power of our history they

[33:46]know what lies in makkah and madina they know what lies in

[33:51]karbala they know what lies in najaf they know what lies in

[33:54]mashhad they know it trust me they have done thorough studies they

[33:59]know it so well that when lawrence of arabia created the kingdom

[34:03]of saudi arabia he made sure they put the worst enemies of

[34:07]allah in power and they finance them and they work together like

[34:12]one married couple who love each other so much that they sacrifice

[34:17]everything on earth to maintain their their vicious power but they are

[34:23]masters of division even within our community they are masters of dividers

[34:26]and if you and i take the lesson of karbala we must

[34:31]be united those 72 soldiers who fought with imam al-islam were united

[34:35]if there was even an ounce of difference between them the ma

[34:39]the message of imam was saying would not have been carried across

[34:41]that's why imam says my companions are the finest companions and you

[34:47]and i cry for them we we bear allegiance to how great

[34:50]they were huh we say we bear witness you pay you prayed

[35:08]you gave charity you believed in prophet you had certainty we bear

[35:12]witness we today in history when we read ziara we say oh

[35:16]imam you and your companions were prayerful upholders we bear witness but

[35:21]we don't practice it we give lip service but we don't practice

[35:24]it we're so ever so quick to find faults in everybody so

[35:27]that we should not go here don't go here i hear people

[35:30]saying don't go over there don't do this one that shaykh or

[35:32]this mawlana this say this guy don't who says that who told

[35:38]us to do this shaytan says exactly what i like you for

[35:40]for then i will come and infuse this difference today when voting

[35:45]takes place within our community somebody's running for judge or somebody's running

[35:50]for position you find within our community with splinter and then the

[35:52]enemy simply says ah easy take one of them fight the other

[35:56]they will never get elected this community largest community in north america

[36:01]doesn't even have full representation in governance in this town because we

[36:06]can't get it straight because we are we have such animosity against

[36:10]each other instead of uniting for the greater front no wonder we

[36:14]are shooting ourselves in our feet that we will never climb out

[36:17]of our halls and our bunkers and then we are complaining to

[36:20]god oh allah make our affairs right allah says you can't make

[36:24]your own affairs right how should i make it right when i

[36:26]send prophets imams and they sacrifice on the battlefields for you to

[36:29]learn you listen to their lectures but you are so deaf dumb

[36:35]and blind you can't hear it allah i'm passionate don't get me

[36:47]wrong i'm not angry i'm not angry at all i'm sad flip

[36:52]it let's look at the beauty of this world the first day

[36:57]i say who's going to hell people wonder yeah tell us please

[37:00]we want to come some brothers left here why did the brother

[37:04]tell us we want to know who's going to hell who's going

[37:07]to paradise look i'm not the master of the day of judgment

[37:10]i don't have the list i'm going to give you a general

[37:14]philosophy allah is too merciful to put humanity in hell those who

[37:21]will enter hell will probably enter it for a period of time

[37:25]and leave very few will remain in it forever very few very

[37:31]few and i'm repeating it majority will enter paradise now you might

[37:37]be thinking oh thank god this is great this is great news

[37:41]i love this ah i don't have to pray now i don't

[37:47]have to fast you know because insane you know paradise is wajib

[37:52]on us i didn't say that what i mean is to avoid

[37:59]hell there are levels of paradise you and i should struggle daily

[38:05]to reach the highest paradise that requires struggle allah mentioned in the

[38:10]quran you want to enter makkah mahmoud that high station where prophets

[38:14]and imams are going to be then you have to work hard

[38:18]in promoting good sure it's hard to promote good in the world

[38:22]where there's too much evil it's hard but that's the beauty of

[38:27]hard work but by the same token let's not say to ourselves

[38:29]you know what i'm damaged goods i'm going to hell anyways humans

[38:33]who are not muslims you might ask what's happening to them you

[38:37]know it's funny how we are so segregational schismatic as i call

[38:43]it where we want to damn everybody to hell except ourselves i

[38:47]believe anyone who does that is suffering from what we call myopia

[38:53]you know it's myopia when you have tunnel vision you know like

[38:58]horses they have these blinders they can only see down when you

[39:02]have that vision you come to this conclusion because when you have

[39:06]broad vision you cannot say that people with broad visions will never

[39:11]say such sentences people with broad vision will look at the rahm

[39:15]of allah universally not only on earth but all other beings in

[39:19]the universe and say what's going to happen to all of them

[39:22]in the mercy of god for they all came into existence by

[39:26]his will they're all sustained and maintained by his will what will

[39:30]happen to their end we can conclude that because god is so

[39:33]merciful and we can establish that rationally we can establish the goodness

[39:38]and the rationality of allah logically i don't have time to mention

[39:41]it here but i'm telling you it's very easy to establish the

[39:46]mercy the universal good of god as the precursor to all that

[39:51]exists in the universe and therefore we can deduce and induce that

[39:56]god is so merciful that he only creates for good and the

[40:02]one who goes to hell forever is the one within the good

[40:05]uses his power of limited free will to reject allah and god

[40:10]gives that being whatever they want so if the person wants to

[40:14]go to hell and loves it god says no problem i put

[40:18]you there and i'll leave you there forever now you might think

[40:21]who's that there are people who are recalcitrant a good example is

[40:27]iblis iblis was given access to knowledge the average creation did not

[40:33]have and he was elevated from earth to be among the angelic

[40:38]beings that's a privilege now if you and i had that privilege

[40:41]of being elevated among the angelic beings the likelihood of you and

[46:46]as i mentioned yesterday let me give you an example of the

[46:49]filthiness of drugs happening in this town a group of youth get

[46:53]together some of you may have heard and they're told when you

[46:56]come to this party take some medications from your parents steal it

[47:02]right here it's happening in town then all the youth come they

[47:07]steal some medications on the parents they open up all the bottles

[47:11]they put into a big basket bowl then everybody must take a

[47:19]pill they shuffle the pills then all in the party needs to

[47:23]take one and then see the effect 30 minutes later this is

[47:26]where we have reached the level of decadence in our community where

[47:30]our young generations today are having parties like this to get high

[47:34]to blast their brains to take you know hallucinogenic stuff like where

[47:40]we say lsd they're taking in crystal meth it's become so popular

[47:45]today and then the manufacturers are adding more poisons in it and

[47:49]people are overdosing in one dose they don't know what they're taking

[47:52]and parents are crying what happened my child was in the university

[47:55]first year university i've saved my whole life for them to go

[48:00]to this university it took one little white powder and it wiped

[48:03]them out this is where we should reach we muslims our children

[48:07]especially in fact no human being should be doing this but the

[48:11]conversation is specifically here within our community that we should at least

[48:16]work within our community to prevent these kind of problems they become

[48:19]prevalent when we forget allah they become prevalent when we have no

[48:23]vision when our vision is short-lived when our vision is just to

[48:27]become rich and cheat and lie the child who is innocent who

[48:29]is full of wisdom towards allah starts to get shattered every day

[48:37]school and they walk home alone mom and dad doesn't even come

[48:39]to pick them up we ask them where are your parents oh

[48:41]they're late so we confront the parents why are you late to

[48:46]pick up your child oh i'm busy i'm busy then we asked

[48:51]the child what do you do says no i go home i

[48:53]cook on my own we have our own we do you talk

[48:55]to your brothers and says no we don't you don't talk to

[48:58]your brothers no you don't even say salaam to them no we

[49:01]don't what is this we see it here we do intervention all

[49:06]the time we're watching this happening in front of our eyes how

[49:10]have we reached this law that our children growing up in the

[49:13]houses where fathers don't even hug their sons did you know that

[49:17]i have sons who i deal with who are so sad who

[49:22]lack any confidence i was in canada one boy came and shook

[49:24]my hand his hands were so wet i said why are your

[49:30]hands so wet he said i sweat when i'm nervous i sweat

[60:25]going around creating fitnah in society are they destroying people no the

[60:29]majority of the human race is good in fact 99.9 percent of

[60:34]the world is holistically good in the world what will happen to

[61:36]doing good things did you promote good or did you not and

[61:39]if you do not you fail so it's an irony that we

[61:45]may consider ourselves sophisticated muslims when it doesn't boil down to basic

[61:48]principles of right versus wrong then we are as wrong and man

[61:53]in fact we may be punished much more than those because at

[61:55]least we have been given this knowledge and we don't practice and

[61:58]if they haven't been given knowledge maybe they have an excuse on

[62:01]judgment day what's your excuse in mind salah muhammad brothers and sisters

[62:26]at a loss time is a trajectory in a one direction it's

[62:30]a vector in one direction you cannot go back in time and

[62:36]within this scale of time everything we do will count for us

[62:42]and or against us so allah says by time let us not

[62:48]fool ourselves as i mentioned yesterday the older we grow the less

[62:51]opportunities we have to grab so grab it now and be good

[62:56]at a young age rise and promote good let's be united and

[63:00]promote good allah all of mankind is at a loss you might

[63:06]say oh allah how can you put us at a loss you're

[63:10]merciful allah says there's a condition the condition is those who believe

[63:16]believe in what in the promotion of allah of course but assuming

[63:21]you're a hindu assuming you're an atheist you're struggling to get to

[63:25]the truth you're struggling to be good you're struggling to promote haqq

[64:24]have laid paradise in many scales you take which one you want

[64:31]struggle but go for the highest why shortchange yourself for the lower

[64:34]when you can get the highest this conversation is about that that

[64:39]when we talk about imam hussain alaihi salam he struggles you say

[64:42]why did he struggle allah chose him but he is the highest

[64:47]of the high he's are the saying ones and the ones who

[64:55]will enter paradise without being questioned there will be no question on

[68:39]the quran in the 22nd chapter 40th verse allah says they expelled

[68:45]them as you know hijrah was wajib when the prophet they came

[68:49]to kill the prophet he moves to medina the enemy now has

[68:52]amassed an army to attack the messenger so in this surah allah

[68:57]is expressing the reason why they have been allowed to fight and

[69:02]i want you to pay attention to this ayah i'm paraphrasing here

[70:00]the house of allah which is the kaaba not only the masajid

[70:03]but even the churches and the and the synagogues and today we

[70:07]find people claiming to be muslims that the minute they get power

[70:09]they burn churches down they even burn massages down these are not

[70:14]ambassadors of peace and islam quran says you uphold it imam ali

[70:19]al-essaram was traveling and there was a dilapidated church meaning it was

[70:24]broken down there was nobody there and some of the companions made

[70:29]a derogatory statement against the church that this is where isa was

[70:34]worshipped imam ali al-assam turns to them and says don't say that

[71:24]city of knowledge allah says i am the city of knowledge the

[72:53]have forgotten the quran and hence we are going astray and the

[72:56]enemy is coming and dividing us and causing fitnah between us whereas

[73:01]the quran is saying christians jews you're all within this one parameter

[73:04]that you need to come and submit to the truth even wherever

[73:08]you are on the scale we must encourage each other to come

[73:11]closer to allah and that's the impetus on judgement day and allah

[86:51]and sisters let's pray and make dua that we as a community

[86:56]are progressive we as a community forgive we as a community look

[87:02]at the big picture and promote islam within ourselves and don't allow

[87:08]divisions don't visit all the islamic centers visit all of them be

[87:11]part of the bigger vision and say no i'm united for the

[87:15]greater cause sunnisha unite christians jews muslims say we are brethren in

[87:21]humanity we're all going to promote goodness for each other and we're

[87:25]going to establish a very powerful powerful foundation for ourselves so the

[87:32]enemies cannot destroy for setting up this program may allah bless them

[87:54]and all the organizers may allah bless them for setting up this
