[31:07]community brothers and sisters young audience [Music] [Music] am [Music] [Music] [Music]
[32:26]husin [Music] [Music] [Music] as muh muhad Kali muak to you all
[33:29]my dear brothers and sisters reciting the Zara in Arabic it sounds
[33:35]so nice so beautiful so sh Sumptuous if I can use the
[33:43]one but in English he doesn't give the same the same volume
[33:48]the same weight so if I'm going to read this in Arabic
[33:51]peace be on you oh daughter of the messenger of Allah I
[33:57]don't know which makam can I use so I have to speak
[34:02]to to stay on reading the way we normally say peace be
[34:04]on you oh daughter of the messenger of Allah peace be on
[34:10]you oh daughter of the prophet of Allah peace be on you
[34:17]oh daughter of muhamad Al mustaf peace be with you oh daughter
[34:26]of w of Allah peace be with you oh daughter of Ali
[34:31]Al the master of the vice Jaren and the truthful ones peace
[34:38]be on you oh daughter of Z the leader of the women
[34:49]of the world peace be on you oh sister of Al Hassan
[34:51]and Al Hussein the leaders of the Youth of the Dwellers of
[34:59]paradise peace be on You O pure Lady Peace be on you
[35:03]o one called welcomingly unto Allah peace be on you oh zra
[35:21]when we talk [Music] about when we talk about the daughter of
[35:33]is truly speaking is difficult to find which topic can we talk
[35:43]about this Noble lady but we may call this lecture as [Music]
[35:48]from in order for us to look at the lessons which we
[35:53]can learn from there and in order for us to make them
[35:55]practical we need to look at Z and then bring those lessons
[36:05]from her to us and ask ourselves a question how much do
[36:11]we know say Zab alhamdulillah within the K communities there is no
[36:18]any shock that the community know say Zab and within other communities
[36:22]however how many of the those lessons which we know about say
[36:27]Zab we can practice them in our daily lives this is very
[36:34]important we are talking about as the Zara says clearly daughter of
[36:40]the messenger of Allah she biologically was not the daughter of rasool
[36:48]but because of the status she Acquired and she was with rasool
[36:53]yes she is known as the daughter of as we remember Z
[37:03]was born in which year fifth or six a six or fifth
[37:11]or 6 ah fifth ah she was born in Medina Muhammad passed
[37:25]away in the year 11 a H so 5if ah 11 ah
[37:32]s Zab lived with the holy prophet for how many years six
[37:42]six I'm say seven so was there when Z was born now
[37:45]there are two narrations here the first narration says thato was not
[37:52]present when Z was born and for that reason reason IM gave
[38:01]a name to say and which was not Zab it was another
[38:06]name when rasool came back he said Mah there's a baby here
[38:13]what have you named they said yeah we have given this name
[38:15]the holy prophet said change the name this narration according to the
[38:20]narrators and the way it present to us the relationship between and
[38:31]it's difficult for them to preed to give a name to say
[38:39]Zab so we keep this narration aside another narration when was born
[38:46]rasool was there and it was rasool who came and said give
[38:53]me my granddaughter and he hold her and then rasool said few
[39:01]things including make sure you dignify this young girl because she resembles
[39:12]lady she resembles grandmother lady khad the question here why you mention
[39:23]khad why you didn't mention any other person it's because some Scholars
[39:28]say the struggles of Khadijah would be taken by s z and
[39:34]that's why the holy prophet mentioned that the holy prophet named her
[39:42]Zab this is Zab and you know masah these days Zab either
[39:45]it's a a tree with a beautiful scent Zab or Zab as
[39:54]per other people who say it is a compound name name you
[40:00]have Z Plus AB which means the adornment of her father meaning
[40:04]what the one who would take all the lessons of father and
[40:08]practice them into her life Zab was Zab rasool definitely gave the
[40:17]name and it was not anyone else for this reason we come
[40:21]this is we program please when you give names to your children
[40:27]choose the beautiful names don't call your your sons for example don't
[40:33]don't call them Hitler yeah if you call your son Hitler you
[40:36]what do you expect from them oh don't call them Saddam Saddam
[40:43]means something which you hit it and it gives sound and Sadam
[40:50]was a hitter yeah he hit many Iraqis even non Iraqis he
[40:53]killed Scholars why because of the names so make sure you choose
[40:56]a name which fits in properly unfortunately we live in a time
[41:01]especially the young Mah professional brothers and sisters they look at the
[41:07]Google and they choose Nam sometimes the the translation it's not right
[41:14]and imagine when you take English words and then you go Google
[41:18]Translation swah sometimes he gives you funny words yeah which are not
[41:21]the right words we don't want to mention anything here however be
[41:24]careful don't just go to the website take a name and it
[41:32]sounds good one day in London we were invited for AKA AK
[41:36]Seventh Day Children it is highly highly recommended for us to slaughter
[41:43]an animal for them yeah in order for them to get protection
[41:47]fukah Scholars of Juris Prudence they said if you know your mom
[41:52]and dad they didn't do AA for you when you grow up
[41:56]you have to do AKA for yourself but alhamdulillah our fathers and
[42:00]mothers they know this sunah of AKA I'm sure most of us
[42:04]the AKA has been done but if you know your mom and
[42:06]dad didn't do it do it for yourself it is a protection
[42:11]so we were invited for this program OFA we entered mashah this
[42:15]young man and woman they got a baby a baby boy what's
[42:20]the name because in the AKA we need to do Dua they
[42:23]say his name is Jim what's the name Jahim Allah what is
[42:31]Jahim they say well we don't know the meaning you don't know
[42:37]and you call the baby Jim yes why there is a basketballer
[42:40]in America his name is Jahim so we named our baby after
[42:46]him he is Jahim we said do you know the meaning of
[42:51]Jahim no Jahim means hell hell you have jna and Nar another
[42:57]name of Nar is Jim he said oh okay so change the
[43:04]name he was reluctant unfortunately how can I change the name we
[43:07]say You must change the name because this name will have a
[43:09]bad effect to your son we hope inshallah the name has been
[43:15]changed this is important for us I repeat again young professional men
[43:19]and women please when it comes to the issue of choosing the
[43:22]name be like the way we were we were waiting for our
[43:26]Mom and Dad they will come write the names and then they
[43:31]will well put them together and say okay this is the name
[43:34]very good and a good name shouldn't be only in Arabic that's
[43:41]another problem sometimes we think that the Arabic name it sounds good
[43:45]so any name you can give it to your sons and daughter
[43:49]noas Muhammad gave beautiful names to his sons and to his grandsons
[44:03]and daughters because he was an Arab he used Arabic names but
[44:07]you can use any any good name yeah for you to call
[44:12]your children and here there's another issue alhamdulillah now we live in
[44:16]a time where many people are becoming Muslims Subhan Allah with the
[44:20]problems which are happening in Gaza and other places still there are
[44:24]people who are finding the light of Islam and they're becoming Muslims
[44:30]so sometimes you will find these people who are becoming Muslims we
[44:33]run quickly and we said okay you need to change your name
[44:38]no we don't need to change their names if they don't want
[44:40]to change their names don't change their names because in the Holy
[44:47]Quran Surah Allah subhanahu wa tala says name them after their father's
[44:54]names their names if they want to keep them no problem if
[45:00]they want to change them no problem at all however we shouldn't
[45:03]grash and say okay you need to take an Islamic name which
[45:09]Islamic name are we talking about are we talking about Arabic names
[45:12]and we think that they are Islamic names that's another discussion if
[45:15]we give them the names of messengers of Allah alhamdulillah is good
[45:21]the names of that's good but any good name it can be
[45:26]in any language no problem at all call them call them Al
[45:32]any any any tanzanite yeah those are nice names yeah well and
[45:39]then you can explain what does it mean yeah so these names
[45:41]alhamd they are good we need to be very careful about names
[45:50]another masah recited thean of and this is very important we have
[45:56]from my wife's family one of the relatives his son is so
[46:01]naughty so naughty Subhan Allah so now we asked the question what
[46:08]happened the father said you know when he was born I wasn't
[46:13]there so my wife saw someone wearing this kof kandiko the way
[46:16]they call it yeah so they call him come he said what
[46:21]do you want there's a n went and say oh man are
[46:25]you Muslim he said yes I'm a Muslim can you come and
[46:26]do aan for our baby he said yeah inshah I'll come he
[46:31]went and he said Allah abbar Allah abbar and of course he
[46:35]come they didn't know this particular individual so today the boy is
[46:40]very very naughty they said maybe because of that particular individual who
[46:44]recited aan he was naughty and that's why the baby is naughty
[46:47]that's another issue you need to be very careful when you do
[46:52]aan for your babies if you are a naughty find someone else
[46:55]please alhamdulillah we have Scholars yeah mujah is here and others call
[47:00]them yeah alhamdulillah they will come and support you and share that
[47:05]blessings with youuh muhamad lived with the holy prophet for about six
[47:19]or seven years the holy prophet passed away in the year 11
[47:23]ah so say was 6 OR7 unfortunately the mother also passed away
[47:30]can you imagine yeah s years mother passes away grandfather passes away
[47:37]it was difficult for her to live her life but alhamdulillah there
[47:41]was a support of was so close to that even though we
[47:58]recite in the you are a scholar you are not taught we
[48:04]mean by that you are not taught by a normal scholar not
[48:10]any Alim but your father of course was there your mother was
[48:14]thereo was there jibra descended in the house where Z was there
[48:25]was with until when she he was 35 years of Agee Amir
[48:30]passed away when Amir moved to kufa s Zab was there for
[48:40]four years she used to teach the community in Iraq many men
[48:44]used to ask for permission Ali allow us to go to attend
[48:51]the classes of say Z which classes tap not normal classes they
[48:57]are very difficult classes she used to teach but Amir would say
[49:01]you will learn from me let your wives learn from Z there's
[49:07]a point where we read in the books of History they say
[49:13]that when Z was about 12 years of age 12 or 13
[49:18]that was the time she got married uhoh this is too young
[49:23]12 or 13 yes the mother is aliam said you will get
[49:30]married at this age and she said yes I'm happy with that
[49:33]who is the husband Abdallah bin ja yeah Abdallah bin ja abdah
[49:45]ja was born in Ethiopia habas as it was known I really
[49:52]don't know how many of us we have made an intention to
[49:56]go to to visit habasha in order for us to know those
[49:59]early Muslims who migrated to to that area how did they live
[50:03]there I have passed by ethiopan Capital City Adis Ababa at the
[50:12]airport but I'm saying to myself I also I ask Allah to
[50:15]make me go follow the footsteps of those early Muslims who migrated
[50:22]to habas ja and Asma moved to habasha in the early stages
[50:27]of Islam abdah ja was born in habash the only sahabi son
[50:37]who was born in Africa was abdalah in Africa yes why habasha
[50:45]the holy prophet told Muslims go there because there's a king who
[50:50]doesn't take a right of any person in that land King Nashi
[50:52]or Nei so abdah ja was of course from the families of
[51:00]married Z and it said that one of the conditions after Mahar
[51:08]that say Zab said Hussein and me we are so close whenever
[51:13]my brother want me to go with him I will accompany him
[51:18]and that's why s was in carala but abdah bin jaff was
[51:25]not there either because he became blind or he was very ill
[51:29]he didn't come to carala so conditions in the marriage are they
[51:33]permitted of course they are so long as they do not violate
[51:39]Islamic laws and principles say was born when he was she was
[51:48]very young 12 13 W sometimes is is difficult for us yeah
[51:51]parents you know your daughter wants to get married you and me
[51:55]we say no but you have to go and study you have
[51:58]to finish at least your ba and then you can get married
[52:04]you are too young but we are wrong the teachings of are
[52:07]not like that if you have time just go look at the
[52:15]list of and the time when they got married you will see
[52:17]that they all got got married when they were young as well
[52:22]as the daughters of our lifestyle now is different yes but don't
[52:28]forget that told us I live amongst you two weighty things two
[52:43]precious things the book of Allah and my holy household if you
[52:47]hold on these two together you will never go astray why are
[52:50]we getting astray these days it's because we are bringing our own
[52:54]intellectual approach to towards Islam and that's why we got it we
[53:01]get it wrong you know how many how many girls they have
[53:04]reach the age of 30 plus and there are no men to
[53:11]marry them one of the reasons we delay marrying them when they
[53:15]are young and this is a big problem it's a community issue
[53:17]which we need to discuss about it some say how can we
[53:22]marry when she's 14 she's 16 17 life is difficult we need
[53:28]to support them they at the University can we marry them and
[53:31]support them if the answer is yes yes let us support them
[53:37]they are children ah they are B you know they still even
[53:40]though if we can help them let us help them muham he
[53:53]says all the community of young men anyone who is capable of
[54:06]taking care of his family let him marry why Allah two reasons
[54:10]he says one is you will protect your eyes you will not
[54:15]see that which is Haram today I remember there was a day
[54:22]we used to have one TV in the sitting room just one
[54:27]we all compete if it's my time to watch much of the
[54:29]day Rashid will not come sit there unless he sits with me
[54:32]alhamdulillah then the mother has the time and they have their own
[54:38]time it was a beautiful moment but now we have this yeah
[54:41]this could take us in jna or it could take us in
[54:47]Jim this one why you can look at all the Haram things
[54:52]in your bedroom I as a father and The Mother We may
[54:55]not know we don't have guarantee even with our children some say
[55:00]well I'll put some some don't know whatever you call them yeah
[55:05]parental control they are more smarter than us they may go to
[55:12]see things which even we have never seen themas says when you
[55:15]marry early you will close your eyes not to see the Haram
[55:18]and you will protect your private part or private parts for you
[55:24]not to commit Zena this is the wisdom behind getting married when
[55:28]they we were young or when the the people are young however
[55:31]as I said there are many challenges it's not W however if
[55:36]we can go the way of rasool let us do so Zab
[55:40]got married when she was either 12 or 13 she became a
[55:46]mother two years later and then she continue as I said until
[55:50]goes to kufa say Zab is there when she was 55 that
[55:56]is the time when carala happened she has children she's the mother
[56:05]she's taking care of the family she is now the Zab we
[56:07]are talking about we were coming and we were talking about say
[56:13]Zab we said sometimes it's difficult for us to differ to differentiate
[56:17]between Zab when we want to talk about happy occasions of Zab
[56:21]and those sad moments of Zab because most most of the time
[56:27]when we mention Zab we remember carala but however the lessons we
[56:30]can learn from her number one it is incumbent upon each and
[56:38]every one of us not to segregate the boys from the girls
[56:41]when we want to educate them we should put cross in that
[56:48]idea I will educate my boys only until University until Masters until
[56:54]they become whoever they want to become come but ladies are no
[56:57]my young girls someone will come and marry them so I don't
[57:02]need to spend money that's a wrong notion wrong idea was taught
[57:08]throughout byse all the time and she became Z knowledge number two
[57:22]we should always have the idea that you know what in life
[57:25]even though we depend on boys sometimes to do difficult tasks but
[57:31]girls also should be prepared and that's very important if it were
[57:36]not for say Zab to be as the media to inform us
[57:42]what happened in carala if say Z wasn't there we wouldn't do
[57:45]we wouldn't know many of the things which happen in carala for
[57:51]that to happen in order for you for your media to be
[57:54]better you need to be an eloquent person and she was she
[58:02]was what do you expect she is the daughter of the words
[58:10]of Jo and other people who are not Muslims they look at
[58:16]them they say we have read Quran and we have heard the
[58:18]wordings of the holy prophet but the eloquence ofir is below just
[58:25]below know the eloquence of the Holy Quran Quran andasol she grew
[58:29]up in that house a lesson here we need to learn is
[58:35]that brothers and mothers sometimes we come home tired our children come
[58:39]to us they want to relate to us dad this was the
[58:42]day today in school I'm tired I'm busy let me finish here
[58:50]we don't listen to them we gag them put a zip there
[58:54]they cannot communicate allow them they want to come and talk maybe
[59:00]they will be maanas maybe there will be speakers and not only
[59:07]that do like some parents do they will take a chair and
[59:09]say not only that you tell me climb on the chair tell
[59:13]me what happened today tell me about your day we encourage them
[59:17]this is very important we allow them to speak and not only
[59:24]that when we allow girls to speak they will be the proper
[59:29]media which we want today what we see what is happening in
[59:32]Gaza there are some ladies Subhan Allah when you hear the way
[59:38]they relate the stories you say Subhan Allah we need all our
[59:41]children to be like that they are so eloquent so precise so
[59:46]yes we need to encourage boys but at the same time we
[59:48]need to encourage girls as well there's a very sensitive masalah and
[59:52]that is can ladies give maalis can they give lectures in front
[60:00]of men or not ouri they have here if there is a
[60:07]case where they need to speak in front of men then alhamdulillah
[60:11]they are encouraged to do so say Zab was in kufa sayab
[60:16]was in Damascus say Zab spoke in the courtt of yazid and
[60:20]everyone was captured by her words we need to encourage that in
[60:26]order when there is a need our daughters should be there to
[60:30]make sure they communicate that say became s because there was a
[60:36]pillar there was a father and there was a mother there was
[60:39]a grandfather they were all working for this particular young lady and
[60:44]they invested their time and everything in order for say Zam to
[60:50]be a product of what we see from say Z this is
[60:52]very important for us we need to work together young men and
[60:57]women when your grandfathers or your fathers who are the grandfathers of
[61:01]your children and mothers they want to correct you sometimes you be
[61:06]you become very sensitive Dad don't interfere mom don't interfere me why
[61:11]because you think they are old school and they don't have any
[61:18]contribution with the upbringing of your children that is very long very
[61:23]wrong because in in English proverb it says old is gold yeah
[61:27]your father and your mother they raise you to be who you
[61:31]are do not be little of their efforts which they do so
[61:33]let them come and help you in your uh upbringing of your
[61:39]children not only that when we look at sayab we learn from
[61:41]her perseverance a very difficult lesson easy to say but when you
[61:50]are in a moment of difficulties to bring all the IM of
[61:55]s it's not easy sometimes times from s Zab we learn that
[61:59]and not only that we learn the importance of taking care of
[62:04]IM this station of imama is very important s Zab was there
[62:11]throughout her life to protect that and that's why today when you
[62:15]go for Zar of say Zab you can see and you can
[62:20]hear there are people who are ready to sacrifice their lives from
[62:24]all over the world they protect the shrine of s Zab that
[62:30]by itself is an honor and when you look at say Z
[62:33]where did say Zab passed away so we have three narrations narration
[62:38]number one says say Zab was buried in J Al Al not
[62:48]the Mar m Alin the author he says s z was buried
[62:55]in j after his own research so do not take it lightly
[63:01]when you go for Z in maybe ised there according to another
[63:10]narration which is very famous s is buried in sham so we
[63:17]go there we visit s z another narration so says no s
[63:21]Zab is buried in Egypt Cairo and there's a Masid which is
[63:25]known as Masid of s Ayah alasi in London he has maras
[63:33]alus Mar alus for research the only work they do is to
[63:40]Res to to read and write anything which is connected to IM
[63:44]Hussein more than 100 volumes books have been written on IM husseiny
[63:50]Ki says there is a high chance that say Z is buried
[63:59]in Egypt so when you get opportunity to go for Z of
[64:02]Z in Egypt go don't say no only sham because our Scholars
[64:08]have mentioned this for us we ask the question yeah Allah now
[64:12]we are talking to Allah how one person people now mention she
[64:19]is either buried in Medina she is either buried in sham she
[64:25]is either buried in in Cairo what happened to this person why
[64:30]why why we say there's a SE here there's a secret there's
[64:38]a wisdom which we don't know and this is to honor let
[64:47]people of Egypt mention Z people of Damascus Zab people of Medina
[64:52]Zab because why Zab was Zab and that's why Allah subhanahu wa
[65:00]ta'ala elevated her to be in this particular level final Point Ayah
[65:04]from the Holy Quran one day we were talking with my colleagues
[65:09]and they said how can you recite a majus without mentioning even
[65:12]one ay from the Holy Quran and I agree if we go
[65:16]to the Holy Quran Surah Al Surah number 33 Ayah 35 this
[65:23]Ayah mention 10 qualities of men and women 10 equal qualities of
[65:33]men and women because of time I will not mention them all
[65:37]of them however this inshallah take take it as whenever you have
[65:44]time go Ayah 35 Surah number 33 read these qualities then you
[65:48]can see say Zab clearly within the merits which men have been
[65:52]mentioned uh in this particular Ayah for us we say Ya Allah
[65:59]we thank you for making us to know the status of say
[66:02]Sal and we ask you Ya Allah the children we have named
[66:08]them after say Z make them to be proper followers of say
[66:15]Zab and our girls Ya Allah make them to emulate say Zab
[66:18]in her life Ya Allah we also as men allow us to
[66:24]learn those lessons which we can practice them in our lives the
[66:28]lessons which we have learned from s Ya Allah allow us to
[66:33]go for the Zara of Z in sham allow us to go
[66:37]for her Zara in Egypt allow us to go for her Zara
[66:43]in J Ya Allah when the day you are going to resurrect
[66:45]us resurrect us with Ya Allah we ask you the way you
[66:50]have made us to adhere to the teachings of Ras also you
[66:57]have made us to know the importance of through these noble people
[67:05]Ya Allah we ask you to relieve our difficulties in our lives
[67:08]and those who are mared Ya Allah cure Allah we ask you
[67:15]and our Elevate them in the status where they can be closer
[67:18]to Muhammad Muhammad muhamad thank you very much and as we prefer
[68:17]to say Asana she a for accepting our humble invitation and H
