On March 18, 2026, the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran entered its nineteenth day. Iran confirmed the assassination of Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib in U.S.–Israeli strikes, marking the third senior official martyred in 48 hours. Strikes also targeted key energy infrastructure, including the Asaluyeh gas processing plant, and a Red Crescent ambulance during a humanitarian mission. Iran responded with new waves of missile attacks targeting U.S. bases across the region and Israeli-linked sites, with impacts reported across central Israel. Iranian strikes also hit industrial sites in Riyadh and Qatar, causing major fires. In Lebanon, Israeli airstrikes on Beirut killed multiple civilians, including a journalist, while H*zbollah launched long-range rocket attacks reaching new areas in Israel for the first time.

[0:00]It is now day 19 of the US-Israeli war on Iran.

[0:03]Here's a roundup of what happened in the past 24 hours.

[0:07]Iran confirmed today that its intelligence minister Ismael Katib was assassinated in

[0:11]USIsraeli strikes along with several family members and members of his accompanying

[0:15]team.

[0:16]Katib is the third top official to be assassinated in the last

[0:19]48 hours.

[0:21]Iran's Tesnim news agency reported that US-Israeli strikes have targeted the Esaluya

[0:26]gas processing plant in Bushaher, part of Iran's South Pars field in

[0:30]a coordinated attack targeting critical energy infrastructure that underpins much of the

[0:36]country's electricity supply.

[0:36]Iran's first news reported that a US-Israeli attack on a Red Crescent

[0:40]ambulance in Iran's L County targeted Red Crescent rescue workers while they

[0:45]were carrying out a humanitarian mission.

[0:47]Iran's IRGC announced the 60th and 61st wave of retaliatory strikes targeting

[0:52]US military bases across the region as well as Israeli linked sites

[0:55]in Eshdad and the Rafael complex.

[0:57]The IRGC said the operation was carried out in retaliation for the

[1:00]assassination of security chief Aljani and passage commander Rola Solmani and said

[1:05]the strikes hit more than 100 military and security targets causing power

[1:09]outages and leaving over 230 killed and wounded.

[1:12]Footage showed thick black smoke billowing from an Iranian missile strike, Enriad's

[1:17]second industrial city, despite authorities claiming successful interceptions.

[1:20]Gatar's foreign ministry confirmed that Iranian missile attacks on the Reslafan industrial

[1:25]city caused a major fire and serious damage with emergency teams deployed

[1:30]to contain the blaze.

[1:33]The IRGC also announced targeting a strategic refueling aircraft base belonging to

[1:36]Israeli forces at Bengurian airport.

[1:38]According to Israeli media, three private aircrafts were damaged as a result

[1:42]of missile shrapnel.

[1:45]Direct missile impacts were reported in Tel Aviv and Holland following a

[1:49]renewed overnight Iranian barrage towards Israeli targets.

[1:51]Other impacts were reported in Rashdan, Greater Tel Aviv, and Betikva.

[1:55]Shrapnel from Iranian cluster munitions killed two people in Ramadan near Tel

[1:59]Aviv.

[2:00]An Israeli air strike struck a residential building in Beirut's Bashora neighborhood

[2:05]today, leveling it completely.

[2:06]Israeli air strikes on Beirut's Elbasta Elva and Zukak Alblat areas have

[2:11]killed at least 12 and injured 41.

[2:13]According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, among them was prominent Lebanese

[2:18]journalist Muhammad Sherei and his wife.

[2:20]Footage published by Hezbollah shows its fighters targeting the headquarters of the

[2:23]146th Division in Jatun, east of the Israeli settlement of Naharia with

[2:29]a rocket salvo.

[2:29]Direct rocket impacts were reported in Kirat Shimona and Escalan occupied Escalan

[2:33]in the Gaza envelope which was struck for the first time in

[2:36]Hezbollah's history by a rocket launched from Lebanon marking a record range

[2:43]of over 200 km.
