The Religion of the Prophet before Prophethood - Qazwini

There are three different opinions concerning the religion of the Prophet (s) before Prophethood. What are they?
1. He was a prophet before he received the message of Islam but did not announce this to the people.
2. He followed the upright path of Ibrahim (as).
3. The Prophet (s) practiced a religion which was exactly the same as the upright religion his ancestor Prophet Ibrahim (as) had practiced. However, as Prophet Muhammad (s) is higher in rank than Prophet Ibrahim (as), he is not the follower of his religion.
