[0:16]Allah subhana T states in the Holy Quran and what he States
[0:20]is the truth in the chapter ofak he says Allah states in
[0:30]the first two verses of the chapter ofak the these letters that
[0:37]are called considered to be disconnected letters um he says he says
[0:43]that book in which there is no doubt a guide to those
[0:48]who are God wey today we want to continue in our exposition
[1:00]or looking at the um the Divine book we determined that uh
[1:08]based on the first two criteria that the only book really that
[1:11]was able to make it through um was the Holy Quran right
[1:17]we determined that the Torah and the Bible since uh a they
[1:21]uh don't exist in their original form today and B that there
[1:27]are contradictions in the Bible between the within the Old Testament and
[1:30]between the Old Testament and the New Testament therefore we can't take
[1:34]either of those books to be the books of of God yes
[1:37]the Bible has some elements that sound like it's God speaking but
[1:40]since there are contradictions we can't depend on its authenticity especially since
[1:45]we know for a fact that the majority over 85% of the
[1:47]book um was is written um is composed of gospels and that
[1:54]the majority of them we don't know who their authors are right
[1:57]so not only is their lack of consistency which was the first
[2:00]criterian that the book of God has to be consistent because he
[2:05]is unlimited and therefore he's con consistent and constant but also that
[2:09]um the book has to be perfect because Allah is perfect since
[2:12]he's unlimited which means that there have to be no contradictions whatsoever
[2:15]in his message and so we found these contradictions in the Old
[2:19]Testament and between the Old Testament and the New Testament and there
[2:25]are many other contradictions right uh for example the story of prophet
[2:30]L Prophet lot and his uh uh um and his daughters right
[2:33]terrible terrible story how they depict the prophets we see Noah is
[2:38]depicted as being a drunk God forbid then we see lot being
[2:43]depicted as being incestuous right and what his daughters did with him
[2:46]getting him drunk and all of this business this is completely unacceptable
[2:49]you know neither does the intellect accept it right nor does the
[2:53]heart accept it right nor does it make any sense that the
[2:57]representative of God would do such a thing or would be subjected
[3:00]to to such such behavior from of course we showed that the
[3:05]Holy Quran has is unchanged from 1,400 years ago till this very
[3:10]day it exists in its original Arabic language we said if you
[3:14]compare it from the time of the Revelation to this very day
[3:17]it's exactly the same you might see differences in the font but
[3:20]that's about it but to the everything is exactly the same the
[3:23]the chapters are exactly the same the verse placements exactly the same
[3:27]then we said there are no contradictions in the Quran and we
[3:30]mentioned one um contradiction that is claimed and we refuted it outright
[3:38]we said it was taken out of context then there isn't a
[3:40]claim that has has been made about the Holy Quran except that
[3:42]there it has been refuted so we said so far then it's
[3:46]only the Holy Quran that has been able to pass these first
[3:50]two criteria so I remind you of the third fourth and fifth
[3:53]criteria the third Criterion is that the message must correct false information
[3:58]or claims that were made by um Scholars of past religions the
[4:02]fourth Criterion is that the message must have information in it about
[4:05]the universe that nobody would know except for the creator of the
[4:07]universe himself and number five we said that the message has to
[4:12]be miraculous and Supernatural because the Creator himself is beyond nature which
[4:17]means he's Supernatural therefore his message must also be Supernatural and miraculous
[4:20]today we want to take the third Criterion in the third Criterion
[4:24]we want to be able to look at what false claims were
[4:28]made we're going to take four false claims so first we'll take
[4:33]the um claim that Noah was drunk God forbid uh the second
[4:38]claim will be the Jewish claim of course that was a Biblical
[4:41]claim the second claim is the Jewish claim that Ezra is the
[4:46]Son of God the third is that Jesus is the son of
[4:48]God and the last is that Jesus was crucified so let's start
[4:54]with the first that um according to the Bible that Noah was
[4:57]found drunk in chapter nine of Genesis verses 20 to 25 the
[5:02]Holy Quran answers this outright in chapter 3:33 the chapter of what
[5:09]does Allah say he says and in verse 34 he says so
[5:19]Allah here what does he say he says surely Allah did something
[5:23]called now what does mean means to choose purify qualify and appoint
[5:30]four meanings within one right the worda means that he chose who
[5:37]did he choose the best of the best why are they the
[5:38]best of the best because they have been purified see the word
[5:43]comes from the word saf or saf which means pure right or
[5:47]to purify so that means then that if God purified someone and
[5:54]choose him because he's the best of the best right is he
[5:59]going to make is he going to fall into sin ever what
[6:04]do you think of course not right so that means then that
[6:09]neither Prophet Adam who some claim oh Adam sinned no this verse
[6:13]exonerates Prophet Adam from sin clearly number one and number two and
[6:20]Prophet Noah so here the Quran answers outright the false claim that
[6:28]Noah was found drunk how could he be drunk right he's purified
[6:33]from sin you see so and then of course prophet Abraham and
[6:37]his progeny prophet and his progeny and then which means a progeny
[6:41]or a lineage one from the other so that's the first false
[6:48]claim answered second false claim that azra is the Son of God
[6:52]and will do the second and the third false claims together okay
[6:55]because the Quran addresses them together so that Ezra is a son
[7:02]is the Son of God and that Jesus is the son of
[7:07]God so who was Ezra Ezra was was um you know a
[7:11]Pious um uh man who was a scholar who is depicted in
[7:13]the Holy Quran as being that person who ended up um walking
[7:18]through a village that had been uh since abandoned and uh he
[7:21]saw some uh bones that had holes in them and he said
[7:26]oh will Allah subhana tala truly resurrect these bones so Allah subhana
[7:29]T puts them to sleep for basically 100 years um and and
[7:35]he wakes him back up after 100 years and he sees the
[7:36]bones of his donkey he was next to him and Allah revives
[7:40]the donkey in front of him right and his food is exactly
[7:42]as it was when he first left it untouched right he goes
[7:47]back to his City to his hometown and uh um you know
[7:51]he makes the claim that he is Ezra they don't believe him
[7:54]they said well Ezra memorized the the Torah so tell us you
[7:58]know what the Torah says and sure enough he proves to them
[8:02]that he is azra so what do they do they say oh
[8:06]so you're the Son of God they give him this title okay
[8:08]so is this a true claim or is it a false claim
[8:12]now how does the Quran address it the Quran says very clearly
[8:21]in uh chapter of TBA Chapter 9: 30 what does it say
[8:25]it says so the the Jews said that Ezra is a Son
[8:36]of God and the Christians said that Jesus is is the Son
[8:42]of God that's what they say with their own mouths right you
[8:45]what do they do here they're what they're doing is they're doing
[8:50]exactly what the disbelievers did okay so um here what does what
[8:58]is Allah really saying then and then after that he says may
[9:02]Allah combat them for the false claims that they are making so
[9:08]the Quran clearly says that what they're doing is T amount to
[9:11]disbelief and that Allah combats them and surely they are uh claiming
[9:15]uh false claims or making false claims so Allah answers both false
[9:19]claims in that one verse okay now the question is why did
[9:24]they fall into this misconception both groups right respectively well in the
[9:34]next verse in chapter 9:31 what does it say it says umam
[9:50]it says says they they took their their uh priests and they
[10:04]took their rabbis as what as their uh Masters as their Lords
[10:11]instead of Allah and Jesus that's where they went wrong right and
[10:20]surely Allah says they were only commanded to obey Allah subh and
[10:25]no one else so the Quran clearly tells us where they went
[10:30]wrong right so all right so now we understand now um so
[10:38]what what is the truth then the Quran comes along and what
[10:43]does it do and it's interesting here Allah subhana tala in uh
[10:48]in in I believe the chapter of Al ma verse 116 he
[10:55]has a a conversation with Prophet Jesus Prophet you know how if
[10:59]somebody was to say something bad about you right what would you
[11:01]do would you just ignore it or would you go and talk
[11:05]to them and say is it true that you said this to
[11:08]me about me you'd face them right just to clear the air
[11:10]to make sure that you know there's no bad blood between the
[11:14]two of you am I right right so Allah subhana tala he
[11:19]has a conversation with Jesus he says um did you tell people
[11:24]that you to take you and your mom as Gods instead of
[11:27]me is that interesting so what does the prophet Jesus respond he
[11:33]says oh Allah exalted are you um I would never make a
[11:38]a claim that is not mine to make if I had said
[11:42]it then you would know it is that interesting so um so
[11:47]clearly then Jesus didn't make such a claim next we want to
[11:51]take a look at the claim of what so we finished claim
[11:56]one claim two and claim three um but as well we need
[11:58]to take a look at you know Jesus this claim that Jesus
[12:01]is the son of God of course there are three schools of
[12:03]thought when it comes to uh Jesus and his relationship with Allah
[12:08]first is that there is only one God and Jesus is his
[12:10]Prophet right this is a monotheistic belief by the unitarians there's a
[12:16]group of Christians called the unitarians the second group are called the
[12:17]binitarianism now Allah subhana clearly in the chapter of he says say
[12:36]that there is no God but the unique God the one God
[12:42]Allah subhana T and here not because if you say that means
[12:45]that what that you're comparing him to another that if there's there's
[12:49]right so here he's saying specifically which means he's the unique God
[12:55]right that he is the steadfast he is neither begotten nor does
[13:02]he beget and that there is none like him at all right
[13:06]so then clearly Allah answers here right this claim but does he
[13:13]answer as well uh so he answers then that Jesus didn't have
[13:15]a begotten son and neither is he is Allah subhana T created
[13:21]either right so the next thing we look at we notice that
[13:23]Allah also answers the binitarianism that believe that the two are one
[13:32]he says and do not say that God is the second of
[13:35]two right right right um or in another verse Allah answers the
[13:47]trinitarians right um in which he says and do not say that
[13:51]God is the third of three right surely there is only one
[13:59]God right so it becomes clear to us then that Allah subhana
[14:02]tala in the Holy Quran is telling us clearly and emphatically that
[14:06]there is only the one God so what about the last false
[14:10]claim we said that Jesus is the uh sorry that Jesus was
[14:13]crucified here in the chapter ofter 4 verse 157 Allah subhana tala
[14:20]he says so part of that verse it states and did not
[14:30]kill him and they did not crucify him except it was made
[14:33]to seem that they did and then at the end of the
[14:37]verse what does it say it says and surely with certainty they
[14:40]didn't kill him right so then where is Jesus he's in the
[14:46]Islamic view Allah raised him to him and so he's still alive
[14:49]and sustained with Allah subhana tala so with that we were able
[14:55]to complete the third Criterion right of proving that a message is
[14:58]truly from God and that is that has to cor correct false
[15:01]claims that are made by uh Scholars of past religions and we
[15:06]find that the Quran does indeed do this the next uh Criterion
[15:09]to look at is the fourth Criterion which is that the message
[15:13]must have information about the universe and its creation that nobody nobody
[15:17]else would know except for the Creator himself inshallah that's what we'll
[15:21]cover in our next session until then we say muham
