The first episode starts of with no other than Sayed Mohammed Baqer al-Qazwini. Sayed al-Qazwini is an Islamic scholar and speaker, who has studied Islamic sciences for over 10 years (as well as Islamic jurisprudence, belief system, history, etc.). The Sayed grew up in the
United States and has a BA in Sociolgie in addition to his Islamic credentials. In 2017, Sayed returned to Dearborn Michigan, after 10 years of studying at the Islamic Institute of Qom, to establish al-Hujjah Seminary. This is an Islamic college taught entirely in English.

Together with Sayed we go back in time to talk about his upbringing, pursuit of knowledge and insight into the lives of students of the Islamic institutes in Iran and Iraq.

De eerste aflevering wordt afgetrapt met niemand minder dan Sayed Mohammed Baqer al-Qazwini. Sayed al-Qazwini is een islamitische geleerde en spreker, die langer dan 10 jaar bezig is met het bestuderen van islamitische wetenschappen (jurisprudentie, geloofsleer, geschiedenis etc.). De Sayed is opgegroeid in de
Verenigde Staten en heeft naast zijn islamitische credentials ook een BA in Sociolgie. In 2017 is de Sayed teruggekeerd naar Dearborn Michigan om, na 10 jaar studeren in de islamitische instituut van Qom,
al-Hujjah Seminary op te richten. Dit is een islamitische college volledig in het Engels.

Samen met de Sayed gaan we terug in de tijd om het te hebben over zijn opvoeding, zoektocht naar kennis en inkijk in het leven van studenten die in de islamitische instituten in Iran en Irak studeren.
