[0:13]um so alhamdulillah has been a great first year with the mecca

[0:16]city of knowledge Sunday school we are all so proud and grateful

[0:18]to be a part of this institution from the beginning we have

[0:20]seen huge interest in this project and I personally can't wait to

[0:24]see the school grow from thrilling games of Jeopardy enthusiastic shouting out

[0:28]during say it's all this history lessons watching Messi's World Cup win

[0:31]and stirring over snacks there is no shortage of excitement here but

[0:34]along with this comes beautiful Hadith shared by students before every prayer

[0:38]seeing these children asking questions and raising interest about Islam witnessing growth

[0:41]in not just the children but our spell ourselves especially when it

[0:46]comes to patients and helping kids learn and understand the Quran which

[0:49]all inspires us to work even harder in making this a great

[0:50]place for kids to come together and build Connections in the name

[0:54]of Allah I'm so grateful to all the parents who entrust their

[0:57]kids to us every Sunday and allow us to pass on whatever

[0:59]knowledge and understanding we have of this beautiful religion Islam now we

[1:04]get to show you all the dedication and growth of these children

[1:07]through amazing recitations nasheeds and speeches all prepared by our Sunday school

[1:11]kids and organized by our wonderful and hard-working Sunday school coordinator Dr

[1:14]yosura we begin with recitations from the Holy Quran by Danielle and

[1:19]zecharia followed by a translation by Fatima after allowed Salu Allah foreign

[6:10]Mr Maya and brothers class and level three Miss irem and brother

[6:14]Matthew hamud and sister sana's class to recite on the day of

[9:35]those students did such an amazing job let's recite another silhouette for

[9:39]our level two and three level two and three teachers sister Aaron

[9:42]and sister Samaya for working to put this together next up is

[9:50]our first speech by Amar on the topic of our fourth Imam

[9:55]Imam sajjad followed by a presentation by level four with Zahra zainab

[10:01]energy and in an essay on Imam presented by Yusuf from level

[10:05]five let's encourage them with another Muhammad uh um assalamu alaikum I

[10:19]want to congratulate you on the birth of a mom who says

[10:26]mom the dormant of the worshipers she was born on the 5th

[10:34]of the shabbon 659 in Medina Hussein was a survivor of the

[10:40]battle of garbala along with the other surviving family members and companions

[10:46]after being released from imprisonment after the battle of garbala he stayed

[10:52]in Medina until the end of his life in his room in

[11:46]book saifa said zadia a collection of supplications not only an effort

[11:52]to describe the key to crucial points and defining political teachings he

[12:52]what I've done beforehand let me find the sweetness of well-being let

[13:52]are some facts what is Imam Allen known for Imam ale is

[13:59]mainly known for being very smart having a lot of belief and

[14:03]honesty his loyalty to Muhammad and his equal treatment towards all Muslims

[14:08]what are some sayings of Imam Ali the most complete gift of

[14:12]God is a life based on knowledge practice makes knowledge he is

[14:17]really wise whose uh he is really wise Whose actions reflect on

[14:21]words was born in Mecca in the year of 600 on the

[14:29]13th day and month on lunar of rajab is when he was

[14:36]born Imam Ali got gifted a sword from from Prophet Muhammad a

[14:49]sword was named zelfikor Prophet Muhammad gave Imam Ali the sword thank

[14:57]you I'm fine okay so I did a painting about Imam Ali

[15:07]and um when he did Battle of our head and all his

[15:13]all the people um backed down from like battling or wasn't listening

[15:18]so then he had to um protect Prophet Muhammad on his own

[15:22]and got many wounds and his sword broke during the battle so

[15:29]Angel jibra ill came down and told him La feta Ilah Ali

[15:32]foreign [Applause] before we proceed I'd like to take a moment to

[15:54]thank all the students that I've gone so far I'd also like

[15:57]to give a special thanks to my own students in level four

[15:59]who have grown so much in the past year as a teacher

[16:02]an assistant teacher at that having the ability to watch so many

[16:05]students grow so significantly is a feeling that came being explained inshallah

[16:08]we were all able to witness all of these amazing students grow

[16:10]even more and become what I know they are capable of in

[16:14]their faith and Future to all the students sitting here today I

[16:16]ask that you don't undermine or lack confidence in your abilities with

[16:20]my own eyes I've seen that each and every one of you

[16:21]are capable of greatness I'd also like to thank um the impact

[16:25]the impactful level four teachers I've been able to work with Miss

[16:27]wafa and Dr isra and with that being said I'd like to

[16:32]introduce our very charismatic level one students taught by Miss mehwish and

[16:36]sister Kosar to recite their nasheeds after once again another allowed Muhammad

[16:44]foreign [Music] thank you [Music] always remember that Imam may Allah is

[17:46]the Imam of our time he is alive he is present and

[17:52]he is here for us he is just a cool away [Music]

[23:01]an essay on Imam Madi presented by Yusuf from level five to

[23:08]give a wonderful speech after another Muhammad [Music] just come on assalamualaikum

[23:34]um simply is known as born in Medina as a child who

[23:49]is growing up around a tragedy of Care by law he laid

[23:53]out on the foundation of the twelver Shia which was further developed

[23:56]by his son Imam jafir al-sad Sadiq and AD book I found

[24:29]his brief rain yet others say he's poisoned by his cousin said

[24:35]IBN and Hassan we're grateful to him for laying out the foundations

[25:38]of The Twelve Imam consists of two phases the manual occultation and

[25:43]the major occultation as of this day and age he is still

[25:47]alive hidden from society and placed in the current major accultation he

[25:51]is thriving at 1189 years of age and this is because it

[25:54]is currently the year 1444 Hijra and if you subtract that by

[25:59]the year he was born 255 after Hijra you will result in

[26:01]1189 will allow him to reappear when the Injustice and tyranny of

[26:08]this world which is a Zenith he will reappear in Mecca with

[26:11]Prophet Aisa and 313 generals an army will be cultivated to help

[26:14]proliferate the final Message of Islam to Avail his message our duty

[26:20]as Muslims is to prepare ourselves for his arrival we can accomplish

[26:23]this by giving our honor to Allah and filling the five branches

[26:26]of Islam Salat zakat homes and Hajj this will improve our relationship

[26:31]with our creator and bring Allah's and most plan to fruition silhouette

[26:42]all right masha'allah thank you for sharing those words of wisdom it

[26:47]takes courage to come up in front of so many people you

[26:50]did such a great job um Mustafa from Level 5 taught by

[27:31]consisting of many of our students from various classes I'm excited to

[27:35]see what this wonderful group has to offer and with that being

[27:37]said I'd like to introduce this group with a solo odds like

[29:42]so uh here so this slide shows on Imam not deep change

[29:57]the slide um was born on the third of Shaban for a

[30:03]h he was born in Medina and his parents were Imam Ali

[30:09]inside and then a story I would like to share about his

[30:12]birth was that um was born Allah ordered Angel to um descend

[30:18]down and give congratulations to the prophet so um while Imam I

[30:25]mean well Angel was descending he passed by an island that angel

[30:29]faturos was banished at because he um failed to fulfill an order

[30:32]made by Allah in time so while he was going down who

[30:39]had been banished he was repenting on this island and um his

[30:46]wings were taken away and uh so Angel decided to take Angel

[30:49]photos with him to give congratulations to the prophet so they went

[30:53]there and they gave congratulations to the prophet and uh Andrews as

[30:58]the prophet Salah alaihi wasallam to um to refer his case to

[31:01]Allah and when he said this the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said

[31:06]touch the body of the newborn baby and you will receive your

[31:11]wings and go back to your place in heaven in doing this

[31:14]he received his wings again and returned his place to his place

[31:17]back in heaven okay so now we move on to so basically

[31:27]yazid was a very cool person he was the son of mawia

[31:33]who was who stole power from Imam Hassan um he was a

[31:37]very bad person very cruel he was known for his devilish personality

[31:41]so after um Maui passed power to him he started messing with

[31:48]the Islamic faith and he declared he made everyone declare allegiance to

[31:55]him Imam Hussain however refused to pledge allegiance to yazid and yazid

[32:01]decided to persecute him for this when asked upon his sudden departure

[32:21]he said he would please he said he would he said that

[32:37]he would not offer the sacrifice of any animals but the sacrifice

[32:42]his kin and friends this eventually happened at the great sacrifice of

[32:49]karbala is his horse would no longer move then announced that this

[32:59]is the place that the Metrodome would happen yazid's Army would go

[33:03]on and torture and kill Imam presence and his family and companions

[33:14]liquor doesn't work yeah the lesson that the life of Imam Hussain

[33:20]teaches us as a very good is a very important one it

[33:24]teaches us to stand up against the bed and corrupt and to

[33:29]serve an example of right the lessons Imam Hussein offers us isn't

[33:33]only for the shias or Muslims that serves the lesson for all

[33:36]of the mankind this lesson is still relevant today even being used

[33:43]in Inspiration people by people like Gandhi and Charles Dixon we should

[33:48]always strive to use this lesson in our lives if you see

[33:50]someone being bullied stand up for them this is one of many

[33:54]examples that apply to this lesson so always remember the lesson that

[33:57]Imam Hassan taught us good job guys what a great presentation by

[34:10]our great role models next on our agenda is an amazing Nasheed

[34:13]consisting of many of our students from various classes I'm excited to

[34:17]see what this wonderful group has to offer with that being said

[41:07]Models our honorable Scholars after the loudest so far foreign respected brothers

[41:46]and sisters I would like to congratulate you all on this auspicious

[41:50]occasion the births of Shaban the birth of Imam Al Hussain the

[41:57]birth of Abel father the birth of Imam zainil abedin and in

[42:04]a few days the birth of Imam al-mahdial month Sharif and we

[42:10]ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to make us from those who follow

[42:16]in the path of the Salaam those who learn lessons from Imam

[42:19]al-hussein from Imam and to make us from the sincere and devout

[42:27]followers and Shia real Shia of Imam I would also congratulate the

[42:43]management and the teachers of this Sunday school that we have every

[42:47]week these teachers they gather here and with the limited space that

[42:56]we have they have to rearrange the seating they bring out the

[43:00]tables bring the partition we have three classes in this Hall and

[43:04]two classes in the prayer Hall we have a tight space but

[43:09]alhamdulillah these teachers they've done a wonderful job they gather every weekend

[43:15]and they dedicate time to teach these children and this is something

[43:20]that needs to be commended we ask Allah to reward them to

[43:24]bless them to bless their families and at the end of the

[43:30]day my dear brothers and sisters we are all on One mission

[43:33]and that is that we have to strengthen our Iman we have

[43:39]to strengthen our taqwa we have to protect our children and our

[43:42]family and we have to make sure that just as we are

[43:47]successful financially just as we are growing in terms of finances and

[43:54]in terms of comfort and we have prepared food and nutrition and

[43:58]we have the comfortable houses we also have to make sure that

[44:05]we enrich our children with spirituality we have to make sure that

[44:09]we enrich our children with the proper with the proper manners the

[44:13]manners of Islam the manners left for us why do we remember

[44:21]rasulullah so much why do we remember the elevates we remember them

[44:26]because of their we remember them because of their virtues the prophet

[44:35]was a Mercy to Mankind today we need to make sure that

[44:42]we teach our children we need to make sure that we teach

[44:49]our children who in a time where it's very difficult to hold

[44:57]on to your faith we have to make sure that we're invested

[45:02]in our children and this requires an effort this requires dedication so

[45:08]we ask Allah to make us from those who care for our

[45:15]children children Allah says oh you people who believe don't go to

[45:28]paradise alone try to take as many people as you can try

[45:34]to save your own children try to save your family and this

[45:37]is what we are doing here my dear brothers and sisters we

[45:40]are focusing on the whole family and we are focusing on educating

[45:48]the children on Islam on their principles on praying Salah on reciting

[45:53]reciting the Quran on learning about the lives of the mat so

[45:57]mean every celebration of a birth or a death a martyrdom of

[46:03]an Imam or a masum we hold a celebration here and we

[46:06]focus that day on the life of that individual masum so this

[46:13]is how we will be sincere followers my dear brothers and sisters

[46:21]I wanted to congratulate you I wanted to thank you for bearing

[46:25]with the tight space that we have here I know it's tight

[46:31]but insha Allah insha Allah we plan on expanding and we plan

[46:35]on getting a bigger location of course this has to come with

[46:40]the help of the community we cannot do it on our own

[46:42]we have had most of our programs most of our programs have

[46:50]reached maximum capacity and we cannot we even with our Sunday school

[46:56]we have 83 students and we had to turn away over 20

[46:59]students we had to turn them away because of the limited space

[47:05]so this requires the help of the community this requires people to

[47:11]stand together to try to raise the funds and inshallah we will

[47:15]try to acquire a bigger place one thing I would like to

[47:21]ask um of everyone there was a survey that was sent out

[47:25]on the WhatsApp announcement group if you have received the survey if

[47:29]you fill it out this will help us better know the size

[47:33]of the community how many families we're catering for what are the

[47:37]needs of the community and this will help us make better decisions

[47:40]as we are looking for a bigger space for the growth of

[47:47]this community another thing that we are having is inshallah the month

[47:51]of Ramadan is coming up we plan on having a nightly program

[47:56]here during the month of Ramadan there will be tafsir Quran there

[47:59]will be there will be youth programs Saharas for the Youth activities

[48:03]and this would also require support from the community brother Hassan in

[48:09]the back everyone could see him raise your hand brother Hassan he

[48:15]is going to inshallah anyone who would like to sponsor one night

[48:18]two nights three nights during the month of Ramadan please see brother

[48:23]Hassan and you could speak to him about sponsoring the Knights of

[48:29]the holy month of Ramadan I thank you all I ask Allah

[48:34]to bless you bless your family bless your children foreign quickly before

[48:47]we conclude this program on behalf of history and myself we would

[48:50]like to thank everyone once again who has contributed to the success

[48:54]of the Sunday school this couldn't be done without our wonderful students

[48:56]passionate teachers our dedicated lead coordinator Dr yuster and our honorable and

[49:01]devoted spiritual leader say it's Allah to continue these unique and engaging

[49:04]events and make sure we cater to everyone please fill out the
