[0:02]Allah subhana wa ta'ala states in the Holy Quran Allah subhana wa
[0:10]ta'ala in his holy book he beautifully states he says Allah says
[0:19]in this verse he says and we will show them our signs
[0:24]in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes apparent to them
[0:30]that he is the truth is it not sufficient for you that
[0:42]Allah subhah wa taala Bears witness over all things brothers and sisters
[0:53]in this beautiful verse Allah subhana wa tala unveils for us many
[0:58]truths the first thing that he said is he says that he
[1:04]provided for us signs in the horizons and within ourselves signs for
[1:11]us to be able to use so that then we can come
[1:17]to this truth that he truly exists the verse continues to say
[1:24]is it not sufficient for them that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala Bears
[1:29]witness over all things now now in this holy month it's important
[1:32]for us to ponder over the Holy Quran why because Allah subhana
[1:37]wa ta'ala revealed the Holy Quran in this month it is this
[1:40]month that is called the month of the Holy Quran it is
[1:45]the month in which we come back to the words of Allah
[1:47]while during the year we may have abandoned the Holy Quran we
[1:53]may have been too busy we may have been too active in
[1:56]our lives to take the time to sit down with Allah's holy
[2:01]book and to really not just recite but to ponder over his
[2:05]beautiful verses and his wisdom but alhamdulillah in this holy month the
[2:09]holy prophet sallallahu alaih alhi wasallam tells us that the doors of
[2:15]Heaven are open wide open and the doors of Hellfire are tightly
[2:24]shut he says with a sh with an emphasis on the lamb
[2:29]so Subhan Allah he says that the um satans are which means
[2:38]that they're in chained which means they have no way to um
[2:42]affect us at all and that means then Allah has created this
[2:49]great environment and atmosphere for me in this month to not have
[2:54]any worldly distractions that are going to take me away from coming
[2:59]close to him according to the holy prophet Allah subhana wa tala
[3:03]in this month makes my very breath and exaltation of Allah this
[3:10]very breath brothers and sisters which by the way we breathe 22,000
[3:15]times a day within a 24-hour period that means if we do
[3:23]the math that if we are doing Tas that means our breath
[3:27]in one day 22,000 thousand times we are exalting Allah with every
[3:35]breath and of course it comes to as no surprise that if
[3:37]we are sleeping this then becomes a form of worship right as
[3:42]the holy prophet sallallah Al tells us in that speech he says
[3:48]and so we come to understand then that 22,000 times I'm exalting
[3:56]Allah but what is this T Subhan Allah alhamdulillah there are four
[4:07]important in this one exalted is Allah I do not ascribe a
[4:10]partner to him that's what Subhan Allah means right alhamdulillah all gratitude
[4:18]is to Allah and there is no God but allahar and Allah
[4:31]is greater now what's wonderful about this is that it starts by
[4:37]setting our mindset suban Allah what does it mean it means is
[4:42]which means it's an exaltation which means that we remove any partner
[4:49]remove ourselves from ascribing any partner to Allah subhana tala so what
[4:55]are we saying here we're literally saying that there is none like
[5:00]Allah for us to look towards or to worship you see not
[5:10]our Xboxes not our game boys not our PlayStations not the football
[5:16]game not the soccer game not the basketball game not the Tik
[5:21]Tock influencer right nothing not the Neflix movie in this month I
[5:28]will not binge on anything other than the Holy Quran I will
[5:31]not binge on anything other than the wisdom of Allah this is
[5:36]exactly what I'm saying when I say Subhan Allah I'm affirming to
[5:42]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that I will not ascribe a partner to
[5:47]Allah that I will not worship anyone other than you oh Allah
[5:52]and if I truly apply the meanings that I've just understood then
[6:00]I will have truly only worshiped Allah and this is a form
[6:03]of this is Subhan Allah alhamdulillah is a statement of purpose because
[6:12]you see brothers and sisters showing gratitude to Allah is truly our
[6:17]purpose in life you might say how so you see first and
[6:24]foremost when I make any decision in my life I have to
[6:29]have a strong found Foundation from which I make my choices meaning
[6:34]that my moral code has to come from somewhere and if it's
[6:41]not based on a strong solid foundation then whatever choices I make
[6:45]will also be shaky choices right right and so if I don't
[6:52]have a strong Foundation then just like if I was to build
[6:56]a home if I put the framework of my home on it
[7:01]it on a weak Foundation then what will happen to that home
[7:05]will my windows ever sit straight will part of my house maybe
[7:09]over time sink right a lot of bad things can happen if
[7:15]I don't have a strong foundation in Islam Allah subhana wa tala
[7:19]tells me that your foundation has to Beed and that that becomes
[7:27]what becomes the very Foundation of upon which you build your life
[7:32]now I want you to pay attention with me on this point
[7:38]Allah subhana wa tala would not make it hard for his Creations
[7:41]to realize him to know him does that make sense if it
[7:46]makes sense say it makes sense if it makes sense say it
[7:53]makes sense good so that means then that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[7:55]will make it easy for me to know I don't have to
[7:59]be an academic or a scholar I don't have to be a
[8:03]high level philosopher I don't even have to be a scientist right
[8:06]I can make simple observations and I can use that intellect that
[8:11]Allah subhana T has given me to be able to reach this
[8:15]reality let me give you an example I know that if I
[8:20]look at creators any creator that there is a commonality between all
[8:25]creators and that is that a Creator is greater than what they
[8:31]create let's take a simple example our parents they brought us to
[8:35]this world right are they just our parents or are they someone's
[8:38]daughter and son or are they a lawyer or a doctor or
[8:46]a restaurant owner or a maybe a um a lawyer right or
[8:51]an engineer they're greater than what they create just like a cook
[8:55]just like a painter right they're not defined by what they create
[8:58]there are a lot more than that that would you agree with
[9:02]that if you agree say I agree so now if I apply
[9:03]that to the creator of all of limitation and we said the
[9:09]Creator is greater than what they create right Haj therefore that means
[9:14]then that the creator of all of limitation is greater than limitation
[9:20]which means that he is unlimited look at how simple it was
[9:28]to be able to not only prove the existence of a creator
[9:30]but the most important characteristic of our creator is that he is
[9:36]unlimited and unlimited means what it means he neither has a beginning
[9:44]nor an end because a beginning and an end are what their
[9:48]limits right so that means then that he always existed and will
[9:53]always exist that means that the very question of saying well who
[10:03]created him is the wrong question why because he is Unlimited in
[10:07]order for him to be created that means he has to have
[10:12]a beginning and therefore must have an end but we just proved
[10:16]that he is unlimited therefore that question of asking well who created
[10:21]him is wrong you see because he is the uncreated the Supreme
[10:26]Creator before whom there is no Creator he is the one that
[10:35]created before and after because before and after are relative terms they
[10:40]are in reference to time agreed if you agree say I agree
[10:45]right so Allah is not confined by time he is the creator
[10:52]of all limits which means that he created time so now when
[10:57]I uncover this reality I say okay he's un limited that means
[11:00]then he doesn't have flaws because flaws are what are limits exactly
[11:09]which means Allah is Flawless what's another word for flawless starts with
[11:14]a P perfect I knew the sisters would know this one first
[11:18]exactly perfect that means that Allah is all perfect that means that
[11:26]since he is unlimited he's everywhere he's all perfect he's all knowledgeable
[11:32]and not just that it means that he is all wise and
[11:37]that he is all just which means that any oppression that we
[11:42]see in this world comes from whom from Allah or from our
[11:50]own choices from our own choices you see why because we proved
[11:55]he's unlimited therefore he's all perfect therefore he does not oppress he's
[12:00]all just and so by a process of elimination that means that
[12:04]oppression and Injustice in this world is a result of what it's
[12:12]a result of our choices so now when someone comes to you
[12:15]and says to you but how is that fair that Allah would
[12:20]give us choice to destroy and to hurt is that not oppressive
[12:24]we say hang on let me ask you a question is being
[12:30]forced to do something oppressive does anybody like to be forced to
[12:37]do anything would you agree that being forced to do something is
[12:43]oppressive Behavior agreed if you agree say I agree good so that
[12:47]means then that Allah since he's all perfect and we know he's
[12:52]not going to be unjust that means that he's not going to
[12:55]oppress us not even an Adam's worth not even a quark's worth
[12:59]right so that means then that Allah would not oppress now let
[13:08]me ask you this Choice do you guys like to have Choice
[13:15]do we like to have choice is Choice good yes exactly so
[13:18]that means that Allah since he is all good since he is
[13:25]all perfect he will give us choice because choice is good and
[13:28]so what does that mean that means that Allah will is so
[13:34]fair that he will give me Choice even if it means choosing
[13:38]to be disobedient to him but in addition what will he give
[13:46]me he'll give me opportunity to repent he'll give me opportunity to
[13:50]seek out the truth he'll give me opportunity to make amends and
[13:57]to find him and to know him Allah subhana wa ta'ala will
[14:04]give me clemency meaning that he will completely absolve me of all
[14:10]of my sins if I just repent to him and that's a
[14:15]choice that means then this very system which allows for good choices
[14:22]just as well as it allows for bad choices is going to
[14:26]be a fair system or an unfair system Fair why because the
[14:33]all fair the all just is the one who made this very
[14:36]system agreed so now that I realize this this becomes what this
[14:47]becomes the foundation that I build my life choices on so what's
[14:50]the most important life choice that I must make right so the
[14:58]question is is Allah all purposeful what do you think Allah is
[15:02]all perfect we said so must he be all purposeful because to
[15:11]do something without purpose is bad agreed agreed good that means then
[15:18]doing something with purpose and for a purpose is good yes and
[15:23]therefore Allah must do everything with purpose he is the allp purposeful
[15:30]that is what his Perfection dictates makes sense if it makes sense
[15:37]say it makes sense good so then now that I understand this
[15:40]I say that means that I'm here for a purpose so anybody
[15:45]who tells you oh this world is without purpose say no this
[15:48]world is for a purpose and with a purpose I don't know
[15:51]my purpose in life well the most important purpose in life is
[15:59]to understand that Allah ah the unlimited created us and that means
[16:05]that the all perfect deemed us worthy of existing so how worthy
[16:08]are we a little worthy or extremely worthy where do we get
[16:17]our value from from Allah or from the popular crowd in school
[16:21]and the jocks and the president of a country and the boss
[16:28]in my work do I get it from them one of me
[17:33]pleasing him and being obedient to him agreed right so that means
[17:40]then that my purpose in life first and foremost is what is
[17:47]to please Allah through showing gratitude and thanks through obedience through seeing
[17:51]how Allah treats his creations and acting the same being Godly in
[18:00]my morality right and so I have the of Allah Allah subhana
[18:03]tala is tolerant with his Creations therefore I'm tolerant Allah gives every
[18:09]creation worth therefore I give them worth and so when I look
[18:12]at everyone I don't dismiss or cancel anyone but rather I say
[18:17]this person has an intrinsic worth and value and therefore I must
[18:20]give them from my time in actual fact this time is not
[18:23]mine to give it's Allah's you see how many realities we can
[18:29]uncover just by proving that Allah is unlimited and so I recognize
[18:38]and I realize that this is my true purpose in life and
[18:41]from this Foundation inshallah the foundation ofed we're going to move forward
[18:47]in the upcoming nights to uncover even more realities I ask that
[18:52]Allah subhana tala gives us the ability to do so and the
[18:57]I ask that Allah subhana tala allows us to connect with his
[19:00]guidance in the Holy Quran to be able to do so Muhammad
