[0:21]on the museum amongst the best ways to truly gain an increase

[0:33]in our our true deep understanding and knowledge of Allah is via

[0:41]his names and attributes symbolically we speak to the names of Allah

[0:45]is 99 the fact that he is the most merciful he is

[0:49]the most gracious he is the most kind he is the all

[0:55]omnipotent he is the most loving so on and so forth and

[0:56]through an understanding of these names and attributes of Allah we are

[1:03]able to fulfill our ultimate objective which is to draw in closeness

[1:07]and proximity to him and in that famous Dawes taught to us

[1:17]by Imam Assad which we often recite during the month of rajab

[1:20]that no harm in reciting it at any other time throughout the

[1:22]course of the year we are beginning to gain a sense of

[1:28]exposure to truly just how generous how caring how merciful Allah is

[1:34]to his creation we State Yemen [Music] that our Allah is seeking

[1:44]you for you are the object of everything that I need in

[1:46]terms of goodness the stems from you and you are the one

[1:51]who repels me from all evil but throughout the course of this

[1:54]the Imam begins to invoke again just how generous this all-generous Lord

[2:00]of ours truly is and that requires a bit of contemplation you

[2:12]are the one who responds to whoever asks how many things have

[2:18]we sought from The Lord of the worlds and very quickly he's

[2:21]responded to our Dua and supplication we ask for family we ask

[2:27]for wealth we ask for health we ask for whatever it is

[2:29]that we ask for and many times Allah again out of his

[2:35]kindness and out of his graciousness and out of his generosity not

[2:39]only does he give us but he goes above and beyond and

[2:43]it gives us far greater than even our intellects have the capacity

[2:47]to comprehend or imagine in the first place foreign but at the

[2:58]same time you are the one who gives to the one who

[3:03]doesn't even ask how many things has God given me without me

[3:06]ever truly even seeking or asking from him what it is that

[3:11]I just received in terms of bounty or in terms of blessing

[3:14]have I truly ever asked Allah for the lungs to breathe the

[3:21]fresh air as I'm going out for a walk did I ever

[3:25]ask Allah for the son which shines and gives us light and

[3:30]gives me heat and gives the entire universe energy via again that

[3:34]blessing of the creation of Allah how many blessings of God have

[3:40]I totally taken for granted similarly how many things even physically or

[3:45]tangibly has God given us without me ever asking for it or

[3:50]even thinking about it but now that I think about it I

[3:53]realize wow what a generous what a gracious what a kind what

[3:59]a merciful Lord that I have that Allah you are also the

[4:08]one who gives to those who don't even know you even the

[4:11]one who blasphemes God someone who doesn't believe in God someone who

[4:15]rejects the fact that Allah has created them and the entirety of

[4:22]the universe get out of God's kindness out of his love and

[4:25]of his graciousness out of his care for his creation he gives

[4:29]to them as well and that famous States I did not create

[4:48]you so that I can profit off of you but rather I

[4:51]created you so that you can profit off of me Allah he

[4:56]cares about his creation he cares about us he wants our success

[4:59]and it's so important for us to transition the way that we

[5:04]think particularly in nights and days as sacred and as blessed as

[5:09]these ones to truly understand again just how much God wants our

[5:16]success so in this line we address the lord of the worlds

[5:19]and we say oh my Lord you are the one who gives

[5:23]when we ask you are the one who gives even though we

[5:28]don't ask but Allah you are also the one who gives to

[5:30]the one who doesn't even know you yeah why do you do

[5:38]that because of just how caring because of just how loving because

[5:47]of just how compassionate you truly are again even to the one

[5:51]who bless themes in The Lord of the worlds Allah he still

[5:55]gives out of his graciousness my dear friends during this holy month

[5:58]of Ramadan let us keep in mind just how generous the all-generous

[6:03]lord of the world truly is and when we devote ourselves in

[6:08]humility and in submission and in prayer and in supplication to Allah

[6:12]it should compel us to truly desire to continue to increase in

[6:20]our knowledge in our of him because through an understanding and a

[6:25]knowledge of his names and of his attributes surely we have the

[6:30]potential to be transformative in terms of our engagement and in terms

[6:34]of our seeking of proximity to him [Music]
