[2:03]their lives for islam for our martyrs and shahada especially those that

[2:13]were assassinated just two years ago that many of you commemorated their

[2:18]death anniversary for the murhameen of all those are gathered here for

[2:23]the mean of all the around the world please recite here [Music]

[3:11][Music] my [Music] me [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] for

[4:41]us to be of those who get to see the imam in

[4:48]our lifetime and be of service to him insha allah recite the

[4:50]second one louder for the love of the lady fatima zahara recite

[5:03]the third one with the loudest of your voices respected elders respected

[5:18]olimar my fellow students my dear brothers and sisters assalamu first of

[5:29]all i would like to send my heartfelt condolences to you all

[5:34]on the martyrdom these days belong to the most superior woman that

[5:47]ever stepped foot on this earth this woman who is a great

[5:54]role model for all devout muslims both men and women and non-muslims

[6:00]she's not just a role model for today's society but for every

[6:06]society and for those on the heavens and the earth over here

[6:11]before i continue i would like to apologize to say the hashem

[6:19]for not being able to make it on time to listen to

[6:21]his speech but it was a very beneficial speech was actually the

[6:27]topic that we're discussing it was in farsi many of you who

[6:32]understand farsi will recommend that you listen to this speech and also

[6:37]like to thank the organizers that gave me this tawfiq an opportunity

[6:46]to come and spend a few nights to share a few words

[6:48]with you all about the ladies so for these organizations and for

[6:58]all our organizations and centers that are working hard and trying to

[7:05]spread the message of the salaam please recite two loud salads truly

[7:26]being here gathered here sitting here is a great blessing it's a

[7:33]natma that we need to be thankful for many are ill they

[7:39]couldn't make it to the program they will be listening online this

[7:43]is a great nightmare that we're starting our new year by remembering

[7:49]we're starting our new year by remembering and mourning for this great

[7:58]lady i know my time is short many youth nowadays may question

[8:07]themselves many of you sitting here may question yourselves how can i

[8:13]relate to these individuals how can we relate to that how can

[8:19]we relate to amir mohammed and say that they lived so many

[8:27]years ago we're living in a different time can we not relate

[8:35]to them let's look at a few aspects of the say the

[8:38]fatima there's many aspects that we can relate to not just in

[8:45]this time in every time i'll just briefly mention a few before

[8:48]we go on to our topic one of the things that we

[8:56]can relate to is when we look at the life of the

[9:01]father is her patience and perseverance in the face of calamities and

[9:09]bella all the trials and tribulations that she faced are many of

[9:19]us going through calamities now bala inshallah we'll touch on this in

[9:22]a short while when we look at her knowledge the importance she

[9:28]gave to gaining knowledge and spreading knowledge we see that the women

[9:36]of medina would come to say the father and she would teach

[9:40]them if you look at her piety her supplication everything that she

[9:46]went through but still she's seen in the midst of the night

[9:50]supplicating supplicating praying for her neighbors praying for the motmini for many

[9:57]a time nowadays many remember her courage and strength how she stood

[10:07]up for the oppressed and we remember the sermon of father that

[10:12]she gave her we remember when say the zainab salam allah gave

[10:15]those beautiful words after karbala or we remember say the fatima as

[10:26]a compassionate caring person for her neighbors preparing food for her neighbors

[10:35]if we look at her as a as a family woman as

[10:39]a mother as a daughter the amount of respect she gave to

[10:43]her parents how did she live with the middle ma meaning how

[10:48]was she as a mother how did she do tabia of her

[10:55]children can we not gain lessons from these recitals please so living

[11:06]in these times in the time of this global pandemic many are

[11:14]suffering in many ways many have physical illnesses many have passed away

[11:22]in our communities due to covet and other illnesses many are facing

[11:29]other challenges maybe it might be financial constraints on their livelihood or

[11:36]like i said maybe illnesses many of us when we face these

[11:46]challenges we start questioning ourselves so why me why am i facing

[11:53]these issues why am i facing this problem why has this challenge

[11:57]come my way what have i done to deserve this am i

[12:00]a bad person it's like mothers and grandparents what did my son

[12:06]do to deserve this is there only bad people face problems so

[12:15]today inshaallah we're going to go through some of our arts and

[12:19]the life of say the fatima salaam allah alayha so we can

[12:21]relate to this current time that we're living in so we can

[12:26]ask to answer these questions many of us when we face these

[12:33]problems or challenges in our life some of us our default answer

[12:43]is the evil eye or another in the in the pack community

[12:59]before looking at other factors the first thing many of us mention

[13:05]or grandparents will say or other friends and family members will say

[13:09]for example when a son or daughter gets ill it must be

[13:16]the evil eye someone has done some sort of magic on them

[13:22]when it comes to a problem in a marriage a dispute in

[13:29]a marriage some people again the default answer is what that someone

[13:38]must have done some sort of magic or evil eye on this

[13:43]person how should our default answer be this there could be many

[13:52]potential factors that led to this dispute if it's in regards to

[13:57]a marriage problem let's see what caused this let's not always go

[14:02]to the default answer of sehar or evil i i'm not saying

[14:09]this doesn't exist we have some narrations that mention ways to repel

[14:14]this for example you have wearing the of hizer of imam jawad

[14:21]you have reciting ayatul kursiya and different ayaat to repel this yes

[14:25]it's unfortunate that some people in some communities that resort to this

[14:33]just to cause harm they go out their way to try and

[14:36]cause harm but there's a few people like this these people have

[14:41]a sickness in their heart they may be jealous of something or

[14:44]hatred or anger that they can't control that they resort to try

[14:49]and cause harm to others so before it's too late for the

[14:54]guidance of these people please recite so we can realize that it's

[15:12]not only bad people get tested and face challenges in their life

[15:18]if we look at the lives of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam

[15:22]and the other members of the bay look what did they face

[15:28]what did the lady thought about zahara salaam allah allah face even

[15:34]though she lived a very short life how many challenges did she

[15:39]face i'm not reading maseba here but we just so we get

[15:42]more familiar with the best of people being tested we look at

[15:48]the start for example when she was a young child in the

[15:55]ship of italy in the valley of abitalib there were sanctions for

[16:01]the bani hashim and the followers of the prophet were forced to

[16:04]go in this valley it got to the extent where the mushrikeen

[16:08]put a treaty together to besiege the bani hashim where trade was

[16:16]forbidden with them no one could buy and sell from them to

[16:20]the extent they couldn't buy and sell food imagine this a young

[16:24]child for three years going through this if you look at our

[16:27]history books it says it got to an extent in the valley

[16:32]of abitalib that at times you could hear children and women crying

[16:36]at times people were so hungry that they would share a date

[16:42]people would share a date to survive what else did she see

[16:50]after a short while she loses her beloved mother these are not

[16:58]small things that the lady father throughout her life from a young

[17:04]age up until her shahadah is facing after that what else does

[17:07]she see this is just to get a bit familiar with challenges

[17:09]and trials and below to see say that is also facing we

[17:18]see she has people threatening to kill her father it's not a

[17:23]normal person this is the prophet of islam people throwing rubbish and

[17:31]other things insulting the prophet she's seen her father wounded she attended

[17:37]many battles how courageous was this woman she attended many battles with

[17:41]her father at one time she sees her father's bleeding she starts

[17:48]crying and then she attends to the wound of her father and

[17:52]then afterwards the prophet's death or shahadah we see he's disrespected and

[17:59]after that her rights taken these are not small things we won't

[18:02]understand the calamities of say the zahara salam the messiah is beyond

[18:11]our comprehension because we have to take ourselves back to those times

[18:15]and understand who these individuals were you know it got to a

[18:24]time where say the father she has to come out and knock

[18:31]on the doors of the ansari maharaja what kind of calamity was

[18:42]this she's coming to those that are apparently the dear close companions

[18:48]of the prophet but they accept what she and amir medina are

[18:52]saying they know no one answers her please recite salah don't want

[19:14]to carry on too much because i know many of you will

[19:19]just start to break down and we won't be able to carry

[19:24]on with our actual topic what we realize from the life of

[19:28]say the father is the most perfect of individuals the most perfect

[19:34]of women face challenges it's not always because we're a bad person

[19:41]that we face challenges let's look at some of the verses of

[19:47]the quran and some narrations that talk about this we see like

[19:51]the verse that i read before you from surah god says do

[20:07]people think that they will be left alone just by saying we

[20:11]believe we have iman and they won't be tested another surah in

[20:22]the holy quran in verse 155 in surah baqarah god says that

[20:40]surely certainly every single individual will be tested every single person that

[20:47]has stepped foot on this earth will be tested in different ways

[20:52]this is not me this is the quran what will be tested

[21:01]with of fear of loss of wealth a loss of life many

[21:12]things in one of the commentaries i'd like to mention here when

[21:18]they say tamara some people mention that this is mentioned last because

[21:25]it may it's people translate as fruits some people say it's a

[21:29]loss of children why it may be one of the most difficult

[21:32]of challenges for a person so we may be tested with this

[21:39]as well let's look at a few narrations recite salah please there's

[21:48]a lot of brothers and sisters here it seems that i know

[21:54]it's very late you're very tired please recite a louder before i

[22:02]continue there was something that i wanted to touch on since we're

[22:09]talking about balor and challenges and i see as a responsibility and

[22:15]duty since i've been given this opportunity to make our community aware

[22:19]of some of the problems that we're facing today if we look

[22:26]especially living in this current time of the pandemic many people are

[22:33]feeling lonely this is not normal for us we've lived some of

[22:37]us 20 30 years we haven't witnessed anything like this there's many

[22:45]in the muslim community in the non-muslim community facing many physical and

[22:51]psychological illnesses like anxiety or stress or depression and unfortunately because in

[23:04]some communities this is seen as a taboo subject it's not spoken

[23:10]about and these people these members in our community are neglected someone

[23:17]may say that they're suffering from anxiety or stress some people say

[23:21]you'll be okay they don't know what that person is going through

[23:26]so they don't give it much importance but ask those people that

[23:32]are suffering some of them will say that this psychological pain is

[23:41]far greater than any physical pain that i've ever felt we know

[23:49]many people in our community some family members that are suffering with

[23:55]these things let's try to help them let's not push them away

[23:59]you know sometimes we try to advise someone who's going through a

[24:07]problem it may be a marriage problem or a death of a

[24:13]loved one or a mother of a brother or a sister or

[24:15]a friend and we approach that person we console them but sometimes

[24:26]i feel and i've witnessed and people have approached me that will

[24:33]be a bit insensitive sometimes we give the wrong advice at the

[24:37]wrong time i know the intentions of the beliefs are not bad

[24:40]let's just be a bit more careful when we speak to these

[24:44]individuals that are have just lost someone or you know they've just

[24:48]had a marriage breakup you know the first thing a person doesn't

[24:51]want to hear you know everything will be fine you'll get married

[24:56]again it may be true but this person has just spent 10

[25:00]years with someone they may not want to hear that straight away

[25:04]for example someone may have lost a child these beautiful mothers who

[25:10]have lost young children i don't want to get into that the

[25:14]great status of these mothers and these children that are waiting for

[25:17]them in heaven when it comes to children sometimes we'll say it's

[25:27]okay god will give you more children god will give you another

[25:33]child and this is true of course everything is in god's hands

[25:35]these are all amanets of allah he will take and he will

[25:39]give when it's best for us but maybe that sister or that

[25:44]brother they didn't want to hear that one day after they've lost

[25:46]their son let's just be a bit careful when we approach these

[25:52]people when they're vulnerable and for those people that have been through

[25:56]these situations just a reminder that when people approach you or say

[25:59]these things they don't have bad intentions asmr meaning you know we

[26:05]will say things according to what we think is but i have

[26:11]best intentions to cause harm on you to make you think when

[26:13]you go home that this person how dare they say such a

[26:16]thing now these people don't have bad intentions and they advise you

[26:20]just we haven't been in that situation so we don't fully understand

[26:25]it please just before i continue just a quick reminder to all

[26:38]those that are suffering or lacking motivation or inspiration never never belittle

[26:47]yourself and your abilities that god has given you you know sometimes

[26:52]you may fall you may crumble you'll be faced with very difficult

[26:56]challenges it's okay to be upset it's okay to feel down but

[27:04]you will get through it just take those steps don't get stuck

[27:09]in that hole you know make those small steps it may seem

[27:11]difficult but take a step out of time don't rush into things

[27:15]if that's something that you cannot do now approach people there's no

[27:21]harm in approaching other members of the community that you know have

[27:24]maybe experienced this and dealt with it in the best of ways

[27:28]now there's many things that people have mentioned for example physical exercise

[27:32]is great being around nature but as well as all of those

[27:38]things don't forget your spiritual side your connection with allah with our

[27:43]connection with the most beloved coming to these majalis it's a great

[27:47]help morning and remembering this purifies our heart it softens our heart

[27:53]they're just coming to these gatherings and mourning for them as some

[27:58]of our narrations say that the prophets the prophet of islam face

[28:04]the most severest of tests and those lovers that are closest to

[28:06]them their tests are heart also and then those lovers that are

[28:13]closest to them why do they have some of the most difficult

[28:17]of tests so we can relate to them so i think it

[28:21]was the prophet we find in narrations that you know when you're

[28:25]facing problems console yourself and compare them to our calamities then you'll

[28:30]find some sort of comfort in them so many of you are

[28:35]that are suffering or know people that are suffering those of you

[28:38]that are listening at home many of you thought that you wouldn't

[28:42]make it through 2021.

[28:46]you thought that problem that challenge that you were facing was so

[28:52]difficult that that's it i can't do this anymore but subhanallah look

[28:55]we're seeing in this new year in 2022 and you've made it

[29:02]through and allah has given us a tolfique this wasn't promised the

[29:06]next second the next hour the next day the next year is

[29:10]not promised we've been given this opportunity to so make those small

[29:14]steps so for all those that are suffering with anxiety stress or

[29:19]any other illnesses please recite a salawat i don't normally recommend certain

[29:35]acts to do on the member but there's many scholars who have

[29:40]advised people that are facing many hardships in life that finding it

[29:47]very difficult to cope or many people that have hajjat they've tried

[29:51]everything but nothing's working of these scholars have advised and this is

[29:58]trustful to say the father they've advised the salat lady fatima is

[30:10]zahara as you know many of our scholars when they were stuck

[30:17]in difficult times did you trust to say the fatim and that

[30:20]problem was resolved and as our martyrs mentioned when they were on

[30:23]the battlefield when they had no hope they tried everything they couldn't

[30:29]find a way out how did they get a way out through

[30:34]toward say the father so those of you that are struggling try

[30:40]it maybe once a month once a week if you can try

[30:45]to implement this namaz if you can or other torso to say

[30:48]the now let's get back to our discussion of these challenges as

[30:59]we realize from the ayaat that everyone will be tested everyone will

[31:05]face challenges it's not only the bad people there's many reasons that

[31:09]are given for bala which i don't want to get into let

[31:12]me just share one story one of the ashhab of the prophet

[31:20]salallahu alaihi wasallam invited him for a meal many of you may

[31:27]have heard this story the sahabi invited the prophet from me as

[31:31]the prophet sat down with this sahabi a hen came and laid

[31:36]an egg on the wall and the egg it fell it didn't

[31:43]drop fell into a wedge by the one who has sent you

[31:56]with the truth i've never been afflicted with a loss and looking

[32:02]as small as this egg i've never been afflicted with the loss

[32:06]you know what the prophet did what did the prophet do he

[32:13]stood up and he left he said allah has nothing to do

[32:19]with someone who has never been afflicted with the loss this is

[32:25]not something small there's many stories like this in our reliable books

[32:33]for example when the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam went to ask for

[32:43]someone's hand not going to go through the whole story but in

[32:48]conclusion the father started explaining that my daughter is like this she's

[32:54]like this and giving all her for the island said she's never

[32:56]been afflicted with the loss in my own words the prophet said

[33:01]no thank you what has nothing to do with someone who has

[33:04]never been afflicted with the loss let's look at another narration from

[33:10]al-qafi it says allah tries the believer in this life according to

[33:20]the iman the degree of their conviction in faith what do we

[33:28]realize from this story these iarts or these narrations it's not only

[33:34]bad people will be tested when everything is going smoothly in life

[33:39]and there's no hiccups in life that's when we know something is

[33:43]wrong it's easy to say that you know we're lovers of the

[33:53]bait allah when everything is okay there's no problems but we really

[34:01]find out how strong we are as believers when we face these

[34:06]problems for example when we have a dispute at home how are

[34:10]we going to make things better with maybe our wife or our

[34:21]mother or maybe it may be someone at school many of you

[34:24]are young here when we say we're lovers of say the zahara

[34:28]salam allah this comes with responsibility we can't just say these things

[34:36]we have to act when you're at university when you're in the

[34:41]public places when you're in a different town and a calamity may

[34:48]come your way how are you going to act when for example

[34:54]when you're walking on the street maybe it's the summer in the

[34:57]uk there's many na maharam women inappropriate dressed how are we going

[35:10]to act are we going to show in our actions that were

[35:13]lovers of the halal bait were lovers of say the father when

[35:19]challenges and difficulties and problems come your way that's when we'll find

[35:26]out how strong we really are as the quran says in other

[35:32]verses why did he create this death and life why a you

[35:38]come ah to distinguish to see who is the best amongst us

[35:56]no it's very late and my time is short so inshallah tomorrow

[36:04]we'll continue with the other aspects of the lady fatima's life for

[36:12]example her in the family her as a daughter how much respect

[36:16]she gave to her parents how she was as a wife talk

[36:22]about marriage how she was as a mother how she did tariyah

[36:27]of her children and how many men and women can relate to

[36:33]this but tonight i know many of you are here to mourn

[36:41]and cry for the lady fatima it's very late in the night

[36:49]so i want to spend a few moments just remembering some of

[36:53]the tragedies that fell on the way tonight we're not mourning and

[37:05]remembering an ordinary lady you know sometimes just looking at the father

[37:11]of this woman it makes once cry makes one cry this is

[37:23]in so many narrations she was the daughter of the prophet of

[37:28]islam that so many claim that they follow his or his teachings

[37:38]what did they do to the lady father let's turn off the

[37:45]lights and close your eyes i know many you have many problems

[37:49]just for a few moments so appreciate this topic that god has

[37:53]given me and you to remember the lady father let's just put

[38:01]our problems away for a little while and focus on the ladies

[38:08]i'll start with the narration from imam where he says [Music] that

[38:26]the greatness of one's reward lies in the greatness of calamity and

[38:32]god did not love a people except that he made them suffer

[38:38]and face this calamity so how much love love did allah have

[38:45]for the babylon how much sufferings and tragedies did they face i

[38:53]know crying you know for mothers and for loved ones it's not

[38:59]difficult many of us have lost loved ones we've lost mothers we've

[39:03]lost sons daughters friends friends you know many a time we just

[39:08]sit and we speak and they start remembering some of the memories

[39:12]they had with for example the mother i remember a brother he

[39:16]was just talking to me about his father and he just mentioned

[39:21]his hand see my father shook my hand like this he started

[39:23]to cry why because we love him so much he didn't care

[39:30]who was in front of him he was talking to me why

[39:33]because he's someone he loved so daily you know sometimes we're very

[39:39]shy and crying and mourning but when it's for your loved ones

[39:43]is any shyness in crying we all say we love we love

[39:48]the lady so many of us have lost loved ones yeah we

[39:56]go to the graveyard you look at these graveyards you go to

[40:02]the graveyard and you see beautiful tombstones with names and this is

[40:08]daughter this is for example fatima daughter of this person you have

[40:13]names written on the graves you have poems written on the graves

[40:17]you know we go we remember we cry and we supplicate we

[40:23]take flowers to the ground where are we meant to grow for

[40:33]the lady father can we even go there these restrictions i know

[40:37]there's many different reports where are we meant to go where are

[40:41]the followers of the vatican today shall we go to bahri are

[40:45]we allowed to stand up barfi should we go to roda or

[40:51]should we go to the house of say the father that many

[40:56]say that's where her grace i know when it comes to the

[41:18]meseba it's very difficult reading the masiba of lady father it's very

[41:23]difficult to comprehend so i'm just going to read a few salaams

[41:26]and this is enough for a masiiva i know many of you

[41:30]understand arabic and you'll understand where i'm going just remember remember who

[42:33]that the heart of ahmedabad menin is grieving it's very heavy he's

[42:37]about to bid farewell to his comfort to the daughter of rasulullah

[42:42]he's about to return this that was given to him foreign [Music]

[43:23][Music] what happened to this lady how was this lady treated after

[43:42]the prophet's death those of you understand arabic this line is very

[43:51]painful [Music] how was this woman mistreated and multitreated and persecuted allah

[44:20]send your peace and blessings be on the lady fatima on her

[44:27]soul and her body i just want to share a story here

[44:31]i remember a few years ago on a night like this i

[44:35]was in i think it was dr rafi if i'm not mistaken

[44:42]he was he was reading a story about kuche bani hashim the

[44:47]streets of bani hashim so during the times of fatamiyah in guam

[44:51]in many other places in iran what the menin do is they

[44:59]make it's like an exhibition she tried to replicate the street of

[45:01]bani hashim they call it cool so now before this exhibition it

[45:10]starts the mini gathered the help just like many of you have

[45:13]helped set up set up the place so they're getting this exhibition

[45:18]ready and it comes a time everything is ready except the door

[45:31]there's a lamar present everyone's singing standing standing everyone's in silence everyone's

[46:37]this man light the door he knows that this is the door

[46:40]that say that that the prophet used to come and give his

[46:42]salam he tries again he takes another match out he starts trembling

[46:47]he's crying he can't light the door of lady fatima zahara he

[46:53]can't make it why he remembers the prophet used to you know

[46:58]one direction we find allahu akbar the prophet once approached the door

[47:02]fatima he pushed it slightly i promise you he didn't kick you

[47:09]or bring any fire he pushed it slightly and he says can

[47:12]i come in say the fatima replies but i'm not wearing my

[47:18]hijab so the prophet waits he puts on a hijab and he

[47:21]gives salam again but what did the people do after the prophet's

[47:26]death now this man is standing there again he takes the match

[47:31]out but he can't light the door why he's remembering how did

[47:36]these 95 days pass on say the fatimate of zahara tomorrow inshallah

[47:42]we'll read more of the messi but how did these days pass

[47:45]you know when we look around look at the ages of your

[47:50]mothers look at the ages of your mothers that have passed away

[47:55]look at the age of lady father what happened in these 95

[48:00]days that she left this world after the prophet's death what happened

[48:05]that they say the state of say the father mind this time

[48:11]it became there was nothing but skin and bones left of this

[48:17]beloved lady what happened [Music] um [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music]

[49:42][Music] [Music] m [Music] [Music] [Music] yo foreign cry for my son

[51:11]or i cry for my host or any crime for my son

[51:20]only crying for my hussain or any crime for saying a day

[51:28]oh i cry for sane again oh i'll cry for my son

[51:37]oh i'll cry for my hussain or i'll cry for my [Music]

[52:14][Music] [Music] [Music] cry [Music] [Music] i [Music] and ever since i

[52:54]lost my father ever since i lost my father every day my

[53:01]life gets harder every breath i talk after him the pain got

[53:10]sharper oh and the pain got sharper i mean everything seems distant

[53:18]maddie known now feels so different even the streets feel so tight
