[0:03][Music] [Music] hey uh [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] in [Music] be
[1:49][Music] is without a doubt one of the greatest ladies in the
[2:09]history of the religion of islam and indeed in the history of
[2:14]humanity indeed if ever you wanted to see the embodiment of knowledge
[2:20]wisdom sacrifice as well as bravery then look no further than this
[2:26]outstanding personality without a doubt when a person has been blessed in
[2:30]the way that she was blessed and guided in the way that
[2:34]she was guided and became a guide in the way that she
[2:38]became a guide then there is a need to examine and dissect
[2:40]her biography in depth because this was a lady who was able
[2:47]to serve rasulallah and was able and witness the most difficult moments
[2:58]for imam al-hassan and be there alongside imam al-hussein and the rest
[3:19]of the ladies who were held as prisoners and captives in this
[3:25]period indeed it was those ladies who ensured that the message the
[3:28]pure message of rasulallah reached us in the way that it reached
[3:34]us today because after karbala the likes of lady father and the
[3:38]likes of sada zainab and others who were present through kufa and
[3:44]sham managed to ensure that at different moments they supported one another
[3:48]they supported one another in the most difficult trials and tribulations that
[3:54]they faced and that's why it's not surprising when you find that
[3:57]many historians and many poets will always mention further as a backbone
[4:01]to the members of the holy household you'll find that young children
[4:07]for example such as sukena the daughter of imam al-hussein and others
[4:11]would actually go and sit next to filter for they had seen
[4:15]her as a great auntie in the household in the same way
[4:18]that a lady for example from your family members has always been
[4:22]around the house and you see her like a mother figure that's
[4:25]the way they viewed this lady and at the same time they
[4:28]didn't look at the color of her skin as for example an
[4:33]impediment or as a barrier in terms of the special lofty status
[4:36]that she achieved because when we look at the origin of this
[4:40]lady whether you go with the traditions that talk of her african
[4:44]descent where some will for example state that she is that she
[4:51]comes for example from sudan or from modern day egypt or her
[4:56]being from indian descent you notice that the holy household in no
[5:00]way look at her race or look at her color rather they
[5:04]look at the god consciousness the taqwa that this lady had but
[5:09]this lady wasn't just the lady of taqwa this lady was a
[5:14]lady of elm and the lady of hickman on the first level
[5:16]when you're hanging around fatham and you're a student of fatima and
[5:23]the student of ali and you are around say this no doubt
[5:27]you become one of the scholars of the scholars of the religion
[5:31]of islam many times we talk about the male scholars in islamic
[5:34]history we talk of the elm of salman or the elm of
[5:36]abu dharr or the elm of hisham or the elm of zorara
[5:41]but how many times do we mention the female scholars in islamic
[5:46]history do we ever talk about female religious tradition or female religious
[5:49]scholarship unfortunately that's an area which many have not tapped into can
[5:55]a person logically conclude that a lady who is virtually living most
[6:01]of her life in the holy household would not be someone who
[6:05]is able to talk using the quran explain using the quran be
[6:10]able to narrate to you some of the most famous incidents for
[6:14]she was present at some of the most important moments in islamic
[6:20]history the first 50 odd years 60 odd years of the history
[6:23]of the religion of islam she saw everything that took place therefore
[6:27]for us is not just a servant of the house even though
[6:31]that is one of the greatest honors you can ever have but
[6:34]that she is also an alima she is a lady who is
[6:39]able to talk using the quran naray choosing the quran give tafsir
[6:44]of the holy quran when rasulallah he is saying that how glorious
[6:54]and how praiseworthy is this felt by don't just look at her
[6:58]as a servant many times when you ask people tell me about
[7:00]bibi festa what will they say to you that she is one
[7:04]of the servants of fatherhood ask them but this lady is just
[7:10]a servant this lady surely would have studied under fatham surely would
[7:14]have learned from fatima and then becomes a role model for our
[7:18]sons and daughters because the second point that is fundamental to mention
[7:22]is that just because i'm speaking about one of the ladies of
[7:26]sham one of the ladies who saw kufa one of the ladies
[7:31]in kerbela doesn't mean she's only a role model for the ladies
[7:35]yes we do need and we can relate sometimes to those of
[7:38]the same gender as ours by the same time for every male
[7:42]she becomes a role model a role model in terms of sacrifice
[7:47]our role model in terms of submission to al muhammad sallallahu alaihi
[7:52]you read the lines i am at peace with whoever you are
[8:00]at peace with and i'm at war with whoever you are at
[8:02]war with if you want to see the embodiment of that then
[8:05]it's lady father and that's why the sadness of all sadnesses is
[8:10]that there isn't much literature on this lady whether from the time
[8:15]of for example the umayyads who obviously wouldn't give much time towards
[8:18]those who are alongside imam al-hussein even until today sadly there aren't
[8:25]many biographies on ladies you are hard pressed to go to any
[8:30]bookshop and find a whole biography of this great lady how could
[8:34]a lady who has been alongside six of the or seven of
[8:40]them rasulullah of the prophetic household yet you found that sadly there
[8:55]are many out there the basic conclusion they reach is yes she
[9:00]was one of the servants of bibi fatima and that later on
[9:02]she was of the prisoners of kufa and sham these aren't just
[9:05]prisoners nor are they just servants they are the embodiment of servitude
[9:12]there is servant and there is complete servitude foreign service to bait
[9:18]they become complete in their service to allah wa therefore tonight let's
[9:24]look at the life of this great lady and the different incidents
[9:30]which affected her some which are well known others which unfortunately are
[9:36]not and i'd like to do this in the following stages number
[9:40]one how did she reach the house of rasulallah number two when
[9:46]did she enter the house of father and how did she in
[9:52]this house see incidents like kissa and the incident of heleta number
[9:59]three who was she when it came to the martyrdom of fatima
[10:02]and so when fatham get married and how did the imam insist
[10:17]that she remained with the holy household and how did ebin muljam
[10:23]strike on imam ali's head affect her to the extent that she
[10:27]raised the spear wanting to kill him that day number five how
[10:31]did she stay with imam al-hassan and with imam al-hussein and how
[10:37]did she highlight that from fatima to zara she had not just
[10:41]memorized the quran she began to only answer using the quran and
[10:46]which incident number six how does she highlight that if you hold
[10:49]on to the quran and your children see you have an attachment
[10:54]then even your grandchildren have that attachment and grow to become amongst
[10:58]the most pious number seven if i have a magnet should i
[11:00]use her name in asking allah subhanahu ta'ala for a particular another
[11:04]and which of the scholars mentions this in relation to his own
[11:11]daughter and finally how was her stand in karbala and kufa and
[11:15]how did she remain alongside say the zain of alaya salam throughout
[11:19]her life let's examine this and dissect the topic in complete depth
[11:23]if you look at the biographers who say that father was from
[11:29]nuba from the sudan area then this would give us an indication
[11:32]that around that time there was a rise of people who had
[11:36]come towards the religion of islam the sadhaka goes to jaffar brother
[11:41]of imam when him and his wife asma the daughter of omas
[11:47]had gone towards abyssinia they had given the best image of the
[11:51]religion of islam you see when a person goes and does tabli
[11:55]or does they can either give the best image of the religion
[11:59]or they can leave a blemish on the image of the religion
[12:03]there are some when they go to talk about the religion of
[12:07]islam all they want to do is put people in hell there
[12:09]are others who want to show you the doors of mercy you
[12:13]find that there are some all they want to do is judge
[12:15]there are others who want to tell you that only the lord
[12:22]can judge when jeff salam went towards abyssinia there was a movement
[12:26]for muslims to come towards islam for people to convert towards the
[12:31]religion not only were the muslims who were in abyssinia because of
[12:37]him who had converted becoming better muslims but there were non-muslims who
[12:41]were appreciating either jafar or appreciating in najashi or the emperor of
[12:48]that area some of these would go towards where would go towards
[12:53]medina eventually when they went towards medina you found that father found
[12:58]her home look how allah guides in mysterious ways whoever allah then
[13:06]none of you can misguide allah subhanahu wa ta'ala sees that this
[13:12]lady who some traditions mention was the daughter of a prince or
[13:15]a king of india others mentioned no she was one of the
[13:17]servants who had gone towards medina to find pastures new she entered
[13:23]the house of rasulallah rasulullah of course is not just going to
[13:28]bring anyone into the house the holy prophet peace be upon him
[13:32]his family will only bring the purest of the pure only those
[13:34]who he knows on the first level their heart is pure on
[13:38]the second level they have a physical cleanliness about them and on
[13:42]the third level was saying colored lives matter sometimes when we see
[13:50]black lives matter you find that from the very origin rasulallah made
[13:55]it clear that bilal is the more than colored lives matter that
[14:01]this father will be in my house and treated like anybody else
[14:04]colored lives matter it doesn't matter if you've come from india or
[14:09]you've come from africa what matters is what is that allah looks
[14:14]at your consciousness of his presence as in an arab who has
[14:19]arrogance and no presence of god in their life are they really
[14:22]higher than someone who is colored and has allah has part and
[14:28]parcel of their life every move they make they do it for
[14:32]the sake of allah when today we see black lives matter our
[14:35]prophet peace be upon his family had stressed years ago over a
[14:39]thousand years ago that you want to see what the meaning of
[14:41]black lives matter is it's not just a slogan nor just a
[14:45]banner but rather that is something you must implement if you're gonna
[14:50]have servants who come from a different background to you whether it's
[14:54]on a class level whether it's on a race level never act
[14:57]arrogant with them because i would never act arrogant with those in
[15:04]my house fever while in the house of rasulallah never once talks
[15:07]of the fact that he said i am a prophet who are
[15:10]you i'm the greatest leader who are you i'm chosen by allah
[15:13]who are you sometimes when we have servants in our house there
[15:16]may be that hint that these are always going to remain slave
[15:19]we're used to seeing them as slaves we can't change our mentality
[15:23]as if a person grew up seeing that a particular group of
[15:27]people were their servants very difficult for them to then look at
[15:30]them as equals if i've grown up for example in the middle
[15:35]east and i've had filipino servants i cannot ever imagine talking to
[15:38]the filipino on the same level because in my mindset the filipino
[15:43]is my maid for example in the emirates my maid in kuwait
[15:46]i cannot see her as an equal if i grew up in
[15:49]africa and i've seen members of the black african community as my
[15:52]servants i find it difficult for me to then look at them
[15:57]as rising higher than me it can affect us not all there
[15:59]are some it doesn't affect rasulallah once came to him she had
[16:07]given birth to imam and she came and said to him that
[16:11]i would like a servant to help me with the household duties
[16:13]the first time said to her something he said i'll give you
[16:18]something better than a servant what did he give her the tasbih
[16:22]that we all recite the test that test was after she had
[16:30]asked him to find her a servant for the house the prophet
[16:33]said i'll give you something better meaning that i'll give you an
[16:36]act which will be an act which will bring you such strength
[16:41]spiritually physically that it will compensate for having someone in the house
[16:46]recite subhanallah 33 times recite alhamdulillah 33 times recite allahu akbar 34
[16:53]times and i tell you this is one of the biggest blessings
[16:57]we have as and believe you me if you can just spend
[16:59]30 40 50 seconds after you finished your salah just stay sitting
[17:04]don't even go down in sujood and do shukran don't even take
[17:09]a right and i left and shake people's hands don't do any
[17:12]of these straight away as soon as you've said allahu akbar allahu
[17:15]akbar allahu akbar three times straight away begin the test me why
[17:20]because that will prevent you from ever seeing the fire of hell
[17:24]how many traditions we have from our imams that that gift rasulullah
[17:32]was the greatest gift you could ever have a gift which replaced
[17:37]any servant that was needed for that time you find therefore that
[17:42]was when imam al-hassen was born when imam he said that she
[17:58]will be in your house she will be a servant in the
[18:01]way that she served me she will serve you in her house
[18:05]do you think fatima would lock further in a small room somewhere
[18:09]random in the house or look down at her or tell her
[18:13]don't ever look at us or tell her don't ever sit with
[18:18]us or you cannot eat what we eat on the contrary father
[18:20]would always reminisce about her years with father zara because you know
[18:25]when a lady for example has just had a son now has
[18:28]a second son two children to enter at that time you may
[18:32]find that this person is going through many difficulties trials her father
[18:37]is returning from battles like better and her husband is returning with
[18:42]injuries all over his body it could affect her psychologically and she
[18:44]could take it out on the servant does she ever take it
[18:48]out on her never does she take it out on the contrary
[18:50]she doesn't take it out once on the servant rather she makes
[18:55]it clear to her father you are part of our family you
[18:58]are part of our growth for that there'll be a day i
[19:02]cook another day you cook a day i clean another day you
[19:07]clean have you ever seen someone who's the daughter of a person
[19:11]who's the highest in that area talk like this believe you me
[19:13]you could see some who are daughters of kings they'll make their
[19:18]servant carry 20 bags and they'll walk and they're on their airports
[19:20]talking you only have to go to knightsbridge or fifth avenue to
[19:22]see such scenes but what you find with further alaya is that
[19:27]she looks at father on the country whenever salaam would want to
[19:32]have a certain moment where she wants to open up her to
[19:34]a lord she shall join us how many of you know you
[19:39]all know very well the young hassan and the young hussain alaihim
[19:41]assalam when they were feeling unwell when rasulullah so far and he
[19:50]said to them what is it they said they're feeling unwell he
[19:52]said then do a man to do another one unfortunately many do
[19:55]not do these things another make a vow to allah maybe i
[20:00]have someone unwell in the family maybe there's a marriage issue in
[20:04]the family a domestic in the family yeah allah if it gets
[20:06]resolved then i'm willing to give something back my sons are feeling
[20:13]unwell rasulullah said fast who fasts you fast filth the fasts imam
[20:18]ali fasts all of you fast and allah subhanahu wa allah will
[20:23]ensure that this is accepted they all fasted imam al-hassan had become
[20:28]well imam al-hussein had become well when they all fasted you all
[20:34]know that suddenly the door was knocked as they're about to break
[20:37]their fast who wants the door to be knocking when you're about
[20:39]to break your fast all of us at that moment we just
[20:43]want to munch we want to destroy the meal in front of
[20:46]us at that moment dog what is there the knock on the
[20:51]door all of a sudden a person calls out oh family of
[20:55]rasool allah i am one of the masaki and i'm needy if
[20:58]you could give me something look at what looking at fatima looking
[21:04]what is fatima about is there altruism is there generosity here straight
[21:08]away father salam would say you are mesquite no problem here have
[21:12]our meal the next day you are about to break your fast
[21:16]someone else comes who is it i'm an orphan no problem here
[21:19]take the next day someone comes i'm a captive asir again the
[21:25]quran reveals the ayah in honor of who in honor for love
[21:43]of allah according to one opinion or for love of the food
[21:46]according to another opinion when the needy or the orphan or the
[21:52]captive comes towards them listen to this line in the quran we
[22:02]feed all three of you so that we attain the pleasure of
[22:08]allah when that's inculcated in then her whole life becomes for the
[22:12]pleasure of allah holding on to the strength that she holds on
[22:16]to after what happens to a little bit happens that can only
[22:20]be someone who's seen certain things in the holy household at a
[22:24]young age when she's seen this family who are the grandest family
[22:29]in islam a family whose salah without mentioning them is never complete
[22:34]a family who are the equal to the quran when she sees
[22:38]that this family looks at orphans captives needy she recognizes that they
[22:45]do everything for the pleasure of allah this is inculcated in her
[22:48]character what else she is there when the incident of the kissah
[22:54]happens so at every juncture she witnesses everything that takes place she
[23:17]then slowly her islam grows and where better training can you get
[23:21]than being in the house of fatherhood when you see fatima's attachment
[23:26]to the quran and fatima's ability to narrate the way she even
[23:32]narrated after rasool allah died with her famous sermon of fedex philba
[23:36]had seen all of these things and she also saw what took
[23:42]place so fatimah after rasulallah died why because who was it who
[23:46]saw fatima when the nail paste the rib behind the door yes
[23:51]who is it that's heard the cry oh yeah come and help
[24:00]me for i feel that the baby is dying inside me imagine
[24:05]you were there at that moment and fatima calls you ya as
[24:11]nadine o philba come and help me how much of a backbone
[24:18]was someone might ask why didn't she call out ali not only
[24:28]do we have a tradition about ya ali adrikani but also at
[24:32]that moment with the miscarriage there may be certain things female to
[24:36]female they understand each other with what's happened at that moment a
[24:40]door being pushed on you when you're pregnant females are able to
[24:46]talk to each other at that moment come help me stand alongside
[24:52]me and she did because i tell you who was it that's
[24:55]when father says dying they normally mention a couple of names they
[25:01]mention bibi father and they mention who else they mention alongside people
[25:06]these two ladies they always mention them when it comes to the
[25:12]last moments of the life of fatima and they ask for me
[25:20]give them their food tell them their mother is in the other
[25:23]room if you call upon me if i answer i answer if
[25:26]i don't know that i have returned to my lord that trust
[25:29]that she placed in her is not a normal trust it's only
[25:34]the trust from a heart to another heart that can contain such
[25:38]when therefore hasan and hussain allah is the one who has to
[25:47]maintain the emotional balance at what is the most difficult moment knowing
[25:52]that she has to tell two children that their mother has died
[25:57]she knew deep down that father the injuries would eventually get to
[26:03]her so what you find you find that when she said i'll
[26:06]prepare the food for you what did they reply oh when have
[26:11]you known us to eat without our mother father when have you
[26:16]known us to eat have you ever seen us at a certain
[26:21]moment where we have not been delighted to eat with our mother
[26:22]father what is everything to hussain everything to hasan everything to zainab
[26:28]and everything to um who then becomes the mother because there's a
[26:36]period where father is but also to them they relate the most
[26:43]to father father's the one who's been with them she's seen zainab
[26:48]grow up she's seen imam al-hasan grow up seen imam and hussain
[26:52]grow up she's seen on kulthum as a young child therefore when
[26:56]she's seen all of them she becomes a backbone for imam salam
[27:00]imam ali on the one hand wanted lady father to live her
[27:06]life that he wanted to be done he wanted to help her
[27:10]get married as we all know she got married to abu alaba
[27:12]he helped with that marriage she had children from abu alaba imam
[27:17]ali looked after everything just because you're a servant in our house
[27:21]doesn't mean that we don't look after you in your personal life
[27:26]no in your personal life i'll help you get married she gets
[27:29]married to abu dhabi but at the same time imam ali alayhi
[27:31]salaam wants her to remain with him wherever he goes if i'm
[27:37]in medina stay with us in medina live your life but stay
[27:42]near us if i have a house for example number three you
[27:44]stay at number seven if we're at number 50 you stay at
[27:49]number 60.
[27:48]don't stay too far away why because each of the members of
[27:52]this household number one respects you when they see you they know
[27:55]how much love you have for us and how you are at
[27:59]peace with whoever we are at peace with and you are at
[28:02]war with whoever we are at war with and number three you
[28:08]have seen their trials others cannot empathize with what they've seen you
[28:12]saw them when their mother died you saw the difficulty that took
[28:15]place stay with us she stayed with them and that's why imam
[28:19]ali alayhi famously said [Music] o bring us what bring us that
[28:30]prosperity with our this is without a doubt that blessing with our
[28:35]father imagine when imam says when he says such a line he's
[28:43]saying that this lady fell there is not just a servant there
[28:47]is knowledge and wisdom inculcated in this lady this lady has become
[28:52]a source of blessing for us in our life even when he
[28:55]left medina to go towards kufa he said filter comes with us
[29:00]and filter would come with them and they got further a house
[29:04]a few doors down and she used to always have the utmost
[29:07]admiration for ibm someone says where is the shone this is clearly
[29:12]shown when eben muljam strikes the head of imam ali alayhi salam
[29:18]this is hardly ever mentioned that you know when eben muldram shook
[29:20]the head of imam you found that at kufa at the time
[29:26]many people had gone and they had captured him when they captured
[29:28]him majority of the people who were around were crying knowing that
[29:32]imam ali alayhi salaam was in his final moments and he was
[29:36]injured when the news reached the house of imam ali khaled salam
[29:40]favor do you know what she did she picked up a spear
[29:44]she picked up a spear and she asked where's ebin mulcham tell
[29:49]me now they said to her why she said tell me where's
[29:53]eben muljam if her african descent narrations are true in the same
[29:58]way you had the man who killed hamza threw a spear and
[30:02]finished him likewise she would be able to throw a spear and
[30:08]defend she took the spear and when she went towards eben mulgem
[30:12]she called out oh eben you have burnt my heart by attacking
[30:19]and killing my master and you have brought grief on me and
[30:25]the best of families how dare you do what you do allow
[30:27]me to kill him they had to come and stop her you
[30:31]know who was amongst the ones who stopped him imam al-hasan said
[30:35]if you take me as your guardian i ask you not to
[30:38]come forward she said no how dare he attack my master amir
[30:41]al-mu'min i could not just sit back and watch him attack my
[30:46]master and i see people crying i'm crying and my heart is
[30:51]grieving but you think that's enough for me i am trained with
[30:54]the spear i'll finish him right now imam al-hasan alayhi salam had
[30:58]to be the one who calmed her otherwise fulfilled the salam is
[31:03]not just to be seen as a female therefore she is not
[31:05]someone who can compete or someone who's well trained filth that could
[31:07]get on that battlefield and do a better job than some of
[31:12]those who are famous for running away from battles she could get
[31:15]on that battlefield and she'd stand alongside the imam therefore you found
[31:19]that bravery you could see her spirituality you could see her but
[31:23]even further than that what could you see further for the last
[31:27]20 years of her life from after imam ali had died 40
[31:32]a.h father died around 63 age let's say from 43 a h
[31:36]till 63 a h father would only answer you using the quran
[31:40]do you remember from iran a few years ago there was that
[31:46]young boy whenever you ask him a question he would only answer
[31:51]using the quran he would not even talk what our common language
[31:56]is every answer he would give would be the answer of the
[32:00]holy quran if you for example were a journalist like some journalist
[32:03]and saudi said to him what do you think of us journalists
[32:08]he replied normally me and you would say you know i don't
[32:11]trust you journalists all the time he would only reply in the
[32:13]quran how would he reply bismillah would use surah 49 verse number
[32:19]6 oh you who believe when an evil person comes to you
[32:30]with news verify the news yes he would say that to them
[32:33]verify the news he's talking to journalists but only talking the quran
[32:37]people would look and say what are marriages that this child is
[32:41]that he only replies in the quran i ask you a question
[32:44]someone who grew up in the house where the quran was revealed
[32:49]would not be able to reply with the quran someone who replies
[32:52]where jibrael used to descend would not reply with the holy quran
[32:59]are the walking quran then what do you expect of filter who
[33:03]grew up in the house of fatima and highlighted to us what
[33:08]that every lover of fatama should have the attachment i have to
[33:14]the quran what do we mean when abdullah bin mubarak you know
[33:18]sometimes they mention his name when he met baby they don't mention
[33:22]her name because she's too close to a little bait so you
[33:24]remove her name you said that she he just met an a
[33:28]lady even shahara mentions that this person the son of mubarak he
[33:33]was on his way seemingly towards the area of hajj and the
[33:39]place of mecca you found that he said i encountered this lady
[33:43]this lady who was seemingly facing some difficulty in her journey i
[33:48]came to her and i said what are you doing here if
[33:51]you say to me what am i doing here how would i
[33:53]reply to you i wouldn't reply using the quran i'll reply by
[33:56]saying bro you know what i'm on my way to hajj i'm
[33:58]a bit baffled at the moment you know a bit confused i
[34:01]don't know where to go but someone who's a student of fatima
[34:03]and becomes an alimah that person only replies with the quran so
[34:08]when he comes he says i literally said to her what are
[34:14]you doing here she replied surah 43 verse number 89 bismillah [Music]
[34:35]and then you will know he's baffled you just quoted the quran
[34:39]to answer me he's like okay okay i'm sorry like are you
[34:43]heading somewhere she decided let's use surah 39 verse 37.
[34:51]whoever guides no one can misguide he said what's going on are
[34:57]you a human or are you a jinn answering like this surah
[35:02]7 31.
[35:05]now son of admon one of the children of adam he said
[35:11]okay so where are you going exactly she said surah 3 not
[35:26]any one student this is someone who has graduated from al-muhammad university
[35:31]al-muhammad's graduates are all lovers of the quran they have an attachment
[35:36]to the quran he then said to her well how long have
[35:39]you been away from your caravan because there's always a careful are
[35:43]going to hide and you're alone and she had to reply using
[35:48]the quran so what would you use surah 50 verse 38 and
[35:50]for the viewers at home you can check the verses that i'm
[35:54]giving you because i could easily give you verses and i'm just
[35:57]saying surah this is that have you come from uh where have
[36:09]you come from like she said surah 41 verse 44.
[36:24]allah light of allah on earth then after that he looked towards
[36:36]them and he said okay you must be hungry you know you've
[36:41]been away from your caravan for how many days six days she
[36:47]quoted surah 21 verse number 8 we have not created them as
[36:55]bodies that do not eat food of course i'm hungry he said
[36:57]okay very well get on the horse with me on the camel
[37:00]with me and we'll go towards the direction that we're meant to
[37:04]no we don't want to go in such directions there are certain
[37:08]that has to be respected between mahrami they'll be facade of me
[37:16]and you are riding together then after that they continue their journey
[37:19]as you're about to begin the journey what do you always say
[37:21]on middle eastern airlines wherever you're going the dua of safar don't
[37:26]you subhanallah 43 verse number 13.
[37:33]then he asked that do you have any children how do we
[37:38]answer if my children are named baffled names then i can't quote
[37:43]the quran if they're named after some members of the adult babe
[37:46]then you have a point you can't quote the quran unless you've
[37:49]used the quran for your kids names so she's got four sons
[37:54]so but she's got to answer using the quran so she says
[38:01]child number one and she goes through each of the children one
[38:16]by one dawood she mentions all of the names using the verses
[38:23]then from far away he sees people coming he's wondering who are
[38:28]those she said these are my boys who have come your wealth
[38:33]and your children are the xena of this world then when she
[38:37]sees them they're like mom how's everything this man has he been
[38:41]okay she replies the line of uh who the daughters of shaib
[38:50]oh my father give him a wage for and honor him and
[38:55]employ him for he is someone strong and someone who has been
[39:00]trustworthy as well he said thank you very much and she replied
[39:04]allah gives the result to whoever he pleases when he was asking
[39:08]who is she they said to him do not be surprised for
[39:13]she has graduated from fathamatazara was highlighting that number one our attachment
[39:22]must be to the holy quran how many of our daughters today
[39:27]have that same attachment how many are able to quote because i
[39:32]see a disparity or a spectrum that's very wide either you have
[39:34]some who can quote quote or you have some who are not
[39:35]interested and that fault lies with people like myself if we who
[39:40]are imams of mosques or have positions or scholars in the community
[39:45]why is it that there are programs where quran has become fun
[39:48]something the quran enjoyed learning the quran different methods where a person
[39:55]wants to memorize the quran for too many years our attachment to
[39:57]the quran is pirate fashion you read something but you don't understand
[40:00]what you are reading you can read the i seen every thursday
[40:02]night you ask the person with arsenal what does it mean i
[40:09]don't know but you've read it all your life okay but there's
[40:11]no reflection that reflection sometimes not the fault of the reader fault
[40:16]of the scholars who are not making this interesting enjoyed the quran
[40:20]because she saw the way loved the therefore for her she became
[40:31]a scholar not just a servant although a servant was a huge
[40:36]honor but she became a scholar 20 years in a row she
[40:39]never spoke anything but the holy quran who could do that 20
[40:43]years in a row can you walk around without using anything but
[40:47]verses on the quran i tell you what if you use the
[40:49]quran as a vicar then without a doubt it'll be a reminder
[40:53]for you in every situation you face every situation you face the
[40:59]quran becomes a backbone to you to your growth and to your
[41:03]spirituality therefore that lady remains with imam al-hasan until he dies until
[41:14]the age of 57 and she says i want to accompany you
[41:19]to where you're heading right now does she accompany him she doesn't
[41:24]just accompany him she remains a backbone and that legacy of hers
[41:28]of remaining a backbone having that connection with allah remained with her
[41:34]children as well i remember the daughter of muska the daughter of
[41:39]filter this man says we were on our way towards hajj i
[41:42]saw this lady in the middle of nowhere i'm talking about who
[41:46]her name was i saw her in the middle of nowhere i
[41:51]said to excuse me where are you heading he goes all of
[41:55]a sudden she looked at me she said i'm going towards god's
[41:59]house i said but you seem baffled and lost he said all
[42:02]of a sudden she raised their hand i left my house and
[42:05]i am not there anymore and now i have not reached your
[42:12]house if it was anyone else i would have complained about them
[42:16]to you but now i talk to you to guide me he
[42:18]said i looked at i couldn't believe the way she said it
[42:21]she said i've left my house and nor am i at your
[42:26]house and if i had to be in the hands of anyone
[42:28]else i would have complained to you about them but how dare
[42:33]i complain to you all i ask is for you to guide
[42:36]me he said i looked at the spirituality of this lady eventually
[42:38]i get to talk after who do i see i see her
[42:42]on that tawaf but before i had got to the camera what
[42:43]happened the moment she read that suddenly a camel a man came
[42:47]to the camera he said here's the camel for you to go
[42:49]towards allah's house i asked when i got there who is she
[42:53]they said that is shohara the daughter of musket the daughter of
[42:56]filth submission became a salah for her children and for her grandchildren
[43:06]generation after generation continued that that's why one of the ulama of
[43:11]who is there in the house of najef he narrates he says
[43:16]my daughter had a tumor in her stomach six centimeter tumor went
[43:19]to the doctor he said this is very problematic for her life
[43:23]he said ya allah in the name of the servant of al-muhammad
[43:27]filth who saw every trial and every tribulation from karabella to kurfur
[43:34]ya allah this child of mine i ask you he said we
[43:38]went to the doctor a six centimeter tumor he said you know
[43:41]what it's gone down four centimeters a couple days later two centimeters
[43:44]couple days a day said i want to know what you've done
[43:47]it's completely gone he said from that day i advise people whenever
[43:50]there is a hijab you have hijacked you have a man you
[43:54]have another ask allah through the lady who saw karbala and kufa
[44:01]and sham because that lady my dear brothers and sisters what she
[44:07]saw none of us would see that lady hung in there what
[44:11]did she see she was the one who had seen the beheading
[44:17]of imam al-hussein and she had seen abel when he heard and
[44:22]she saw his altruism but then what else did she see she
[44:27]saw the heads paraded on spears karbala was not the end it
[44:33]was the beginning of the chapter of the oppression against al-muhammad because
[44:37]when they went towards kufa she was part of that journey where
[44:44]they had people in some cases cry for them in other cases
[44:46]laugh at them taken into the court of ebenziad she was there
[44:50]but then in sham she had to become a backbone to zainab
[44:57]and to sukena and to the others of al-muhammad there were nights
[45:03]when they would try to sleep father would try to remain awake
[45:08]for them but one particular incident had broken for wales no doubt
[45:14]which incident you found that the incident when he azide was coming
[45:19]to attack on a night like this in sharm while cedar zainab
[45:24]was there because she had been outspoken against yazid you found that
[45:29]yazid was coming to attack sayyid as a name all of a
[45:32]sudden further stood up for the had seen there were some african
[45:35]slaves near yazid and she called out to them you are from
[45:38]africa the way i am and you stand there and watch a
[45:42]man come to slap the granddaughter of muhammad how dare you they
[45:47]said to her stay quiet i will not you come and want
[45:51]to attack the granddaughter of the man who bought this religion and
[45:53]you people from my country from africa are standing there watching how
[45:57]dare you stand there and watch suddenly according to some there was
[46:02]a revolt by the african slaves in yazid's palace that the africans
[46:05]were like hold on this lady is from africa where from africa
[46:08]she's just made a complaint about what has happened to the granddaughter
[46:13]of muhammad at that moment you found that some of them begun
[46:18]to revolt against yazid because for filter you touch zainab you've touched
[46:24]me and you touch zainab then you've touched fatima if you've touched
[46:28]zainab then you have hurt hussein for her she would never allow
[46:33]anyone to hurt al-muhammad in that way and that's why my dear
[46:38]brothers and sisters forfeit that these moments were difficult no doubt seeing
[46:43]ruqayya dying in front of her in charm that broke her heart
[46:49]seeing for example the heads paraded that broke her seeing zainal abedin
[46:54]with people cursing him that broke her as well but something in
[46:58]particular broke her more than anything else what was it something in
[47:03]particular got to her what was it she was there at the
[47:09]martyrdom of fatimatazalam she was there when she was there at the
[47:12]martyrdom of fatherhood she had seen a number of things she never
[47:18]expected to see or hear them ever again at the martyrdom someone
[47:27]who said gather the fire and burn the house she remembered that
[47:32]day vividly when the fire enveloped the house of the daughter of
[47:39]rasool until today nobody knows where the grave of fatima is ask
[47:42]any muslim where is the grave of zahara nobody knows is it
[47:47]something logical that the daughter of the man who bought the religion
[47:49]1400 years later no muslim knows where she's buried why was she
[47:53]buried secretly in the night father had seen the burning she never
[47:57]expected to see the burning again father had seen a baby die
[48:00]in front of her and moisin or el mohassen she never expected
[48:05]that day to ever come again that another baby would die in
[48:09]front of her father had seen a rib broken in front of
[48:13]her in medina she never expected to see another rib broken ever
[48:21]like that again father had seen a slap towards the face of
[48:27]the daughter of rasulallah she never expected to see that again filter
[48:34]had also heard fatima saying [Music] she never expected to see that
[48:47]again [Music] she saw a house on fire then on shama rima
[49:08]she saw the tents of the daughters of rasulullah on fire if
[49:14]in the medina she saw the rib of zara broken she saw
[49:21]the horses trampled on the rib of the son of zara if
[49:26]in medina she saw a baby she saw a baby killed then
[49:35]in karabella she saw a number of her babies dying in front
[49:41]of her only allah knows the suburb what she saw a slap
[49:59]on the face of fatima then coming to karabakh but come to
[50:05]shame and see the slaps on the faces of the daughters of
[50:09]rasulullah one of them calling out my filter why are they throwing
[50:17]stones at us another of them calling out amma for the why
[50:21]are they staring at us another calling she never expected to hear
[50:39]that line again she knew the same way her mother called out
[50:48]help me in the same way saying them look towards the black
[50:53]but this time what was the difference uh what happened with zainab
[50:58]they kicked zainab and they slapped her and they attacked her from
[51:03]every angle and her hijab they took off her [Music] [Music] there
[51:32]are some of our brothers and sisters who are feeling unwell in
[51:36]these difficult times with covet lets us all come together with our
[51:48]dua bismillah with the famous [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] wherever you may
[52:31]be [Music] [Music] oh is [Music] [Applause]
