[0:01]subhan allah one of the mainstream scholars contemporary maharaja of today he
[0:09]says and this is on his website he says i don't know
[0:15]why ignorant attacks are launched at this incredible masterpiece of devotion meaning
[0:20]whether it be against its chain or its content both of which
[0:26]are flawless end quote but before we even address those things i
[0:30]need to ask again with all due respect what is your criteria
[0:33]for authentication i mean seriously do you even have a consistent set
[0:38]of rules or do you make your own rules as you rampage
[0:41]your way through authentic shia literature i'm genuinely asking because first you
[0:46]say the dua is full of negativity and complaint and we've addressed
[0:51]that in the previous question but then you jump to saying it's
[0:54]accurate but not authentic going as far as to say we know
[0:58]it didn't come from the imams which is not only an absurd
[1:02]statement as you most certainly do not meet the incontrovertible burden of
[1:09]proof for that clear-cut verdict to say for a fact it didn't
[1:12]come from the imams but also an actual scholar with sufficient piety
[1:17]would hold a reserved and cautious opinion instead of jumping to their
[1:22]biased foregone conclusions so i'm honestly perplexed as to how to even
[1:27]address this erratic line of reasoning i never thought i'd see someone
[1:31]hold such a grudge against a prayer and such a beautiful and
[1:36]inspirational prayer at that now i won't even address the authenticity question
[1:44]because qualified scholars those who are much more learned than i uh
[1:48]as well as jurists have attested to that and it would be
[1:53]her fatul ages to even engage in that with these kinds of
[1:57]people but let me address the other problems that were raised right
[2:00]he says that the dua creates two problems even though he then
[2:06]rounds up to three points but besides that he mentions a few
[2:10]issues with the dua the first he says it creates a negative
[2:14]outlook to humanity the second was i think it rids us of
[2:19]our confidence in our capability and the third point uh which is
[2:24]the most confusing is he says it makes us imam centric then
[2:28]he concludes these are all in sharp contradiction to our human condition
[2:34]so i'm like what is the human condition so um let's actually
[2:41]look it up on wikipedia here to know what that even means
[2:49]right human condition so this is on wikipedia it says the human
[2:55]condition is all of the characteristics and e and key events that
[2:59]compose the essentials of human existence including birth growth emotion aspiration conflict
[3:04]and mortality this is a very broad topic which has been which
[3:08]has been and continues to be pondered and analyzed from many perspectives
[3:12]including those of religion philosophy history art literature anthropology psychology and biology
[3:18]as a literary term the human condition is typically used in the
[3:22]context of ambiguous subjects such as the meaning of life or moral
[3:27]concerns i mean what does that even honestly what are you trying
[3:31]to say these are in sharp contradiction to the human condition who
[3:34]knew that masada besides should also include one human condition i mean
[3:43]the oddity and the absurdity of that aside let's see if these
[3:50]three statements that he makes hold any truth at all excuse me
[3:54]the first one was it provides a negative outlook for humanity and
[4:00]when i hear that i mean it sounds like you've never actually
[4:03]read or shia literature is so foreign to you that you don't
[4:11]know what you're talking about because while the dua addresses the injustices
[4:14]that have occurred in the past and present an entire section literally
[4:19]paints the most exquisite picture of the future of humanity listen to
[4:25]what the dua actually says the imam says mata when will we
[4:32]be able to come to you and visit you and our eyes
[4:37]are illuminated when we will be will we be able to see
[4:42]you and you us raise the flag of victory um when will
[5:11]the day come when you have restored justice to the world you
[5:15]have destroyed the evil doers and you have given victory to those
[5:21]who are righteous so that we could say alhamdulillah praise be to
[5:27]allah i mean how beautiful can it be the dua then goes
[5:31]on to say it where is the one who's going to restore
[5:44]justice where is the one who is going to destroy injustice and
[5:50]oppression where is the one who will do all these things where
[6:05]is the one who is going to uh deal a final blow
[6:11]to the uh to the aggressors uh destroy the buildings of hypocrisy
[6:23]and so on and so forth all of these sections are in
[6:29]this beautiful however you have some guy who feels that this is
[6:37]too bleak and too negative and then you know says that because
[6:42]of this this dua is not authentic i mean honestly if you
[6:46]feel that way then maybe you should reevaluate which camp you're in
[6:50]because if you're in god's camp you'd rejoice at the prospect that
[6:54]falsehood will be defeated and eradicated once and for all you'd only
[6:59]see that as a negative if you're playing for the other team
[7:05]unless there's another problem and we kind of talked about this in
[7:08]the previous question right maybe you don't even believe in the mahdi
[7:11]perhaps you hold that sufi view that the mahdi is some vague
[7:15]concept of humans evolving into demigods which is a conical notion extracted
[7:22]straight from japanese anime as well as roomy mystical gibberish so that's
[7:28]as far as the first point is concerned as far as the
[7:32]second point where he says it rids us of our confidence in
[7:36]our abilities and our capabilities how does it do that exactly again
[7:42]i think you don't understand how dua works or what dua even
[7:46]is since when does dua abrogate our responsibility who says that of
[7:52]course we must do what we can but there comes a point
[7:59]when you know that direct divine intervention is required also are you
[8:03]suggesting that you can conclusively end all injustice in the world today
[8:09]i mean i get that you're pretending to have this 60s woke
[8:12]hipster persona and i admire your enthusiasm i really do but only
[8:18]someone super high on psychedelics would think that they can reverse the
[8:23]space-time continuum and undo the sapifa the dua speaks about the injustices
[8:29]committed against god's prophets and emissaries let's hear your plan excuse me
[8:35]on how you'll use your capabilities to restore justice for them and
[8:40]accomplish what god calls victory for his prophets in this world allah
[8:45]says in the holy quran we shall grant victory to our prophets
[9:00]and the believers in this world and on the day the dead
[9:06]will rise on the day of judgment let's see how you plan
[9:09]to do that with your capabilities actually forget universal justice how about
[9:14]you use those capabilities of yours to address one single problem like
[9:20]let's say women's sexual exploitation or the 40 to 50 million abortions
[9:25]that take place every year or maybe address growing wealth disparity between
[9:31]the rich and poor which is only getting bigger and bigger address
[9:34]these systemic problems not on a global scale but on a local
[9:42]scale alway in fact it seems we can either wait for your
[9:46]grand plan that's based on your capabilities or use the inspiration of
[9:50]to actively prepare for the one with divine backing and as far
[10:02]as the third point which is that makes us imam centric right
[10:07]there it is brothers and sisters the anti-shia rhetoric is finally coming
[10:13]out right which is why i said in the previous question that
[10:17]there is a silver lining in all of this all these hidden
[10:20]things need to come out so that we can tell the righteous
[10:24]from the hypocrite because you see a pattern emerging here he uses
[10:29]these vague and ambiguous terms to scare lay people into thinking that
[10:34]they're somehow committing shirk it's a classic wahhabi-esque move repackaged as shia
[10:45]scholarship excuse me the entirety honestly if you look at the entirety
[10:51]of the dua is about allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and his messengers
[10:56]and his prophets and obedience to god it begins with this allah
[11:19]praise be to you for your decree that you have made for
[11:25]your followers for your friends your awliya that's how the duha begins
[11:30]and then the dua ends with this statement oh allah turn to
[11:39]us with your generous face and accept our uh us seeking nearness
[11:46]to you look at us with your mercy what is this boogie
[11:55]man that they've made up imam centricity honestly i don't understand that's
[12:01]what dua nudba is like but in order in order to scare
[12:06]people away from imam zaman to scare people away from shia literature
[12:10]they've created this this this scarecrow called imam centricity look at the
[12:17]quran i just want to give you a few examples from the
[12:22]holy quran to illustrate just how problematic their whoever obeys the prophet
[12:36]has obeyed allah has obeyed god that's one verse the second verse
[12:41]is we have not sent a messenger except to be obeyed by
[12:49]the command of god and if they commit injustice against themselves meaning
[13:00]they commit sins come to you o prophet of allah ok and
[13:07]they seek forgiveness from god and the prophet seeks forgiveness for them
[13:14]they will find allah they will surely find allah to be repentant
[13:20]upon them and merciful this is in surat and nisa that's the
[13:25]second verse the third verse by your lord they will not be
[13:35]believers until they make you a judge between them in matters of
[13:40]when when they disagree when they have any discord they have to
[13:44]make you the arbiter you must be the judge you must be
[13:47]that ultimate uh distinguisher between right and wrong they must submit fully
[14:00]to you or else they won't be believers if you look at
[14:04]all these verses it appears as the quran itself is making us
[14:09]imam centric which is terrible because that makes the quran contradictory to
[14:13]the human condition as he put it um but in all seriousness
[14:17]this is how these imposters deceive people and attack the shia faith
[14:23]god centricity quran centricity i mean these are all code words for
[14:27]their real agenda which is to replace our culture that's rooted in
[14:34]the in the quran and and restore that with a confused neo-salafi
[14:40]hodgepodge of secular liberal rationalism that's mixed with esoteric mystical revisionism but
[14:48]the end game is to attack to shay their unspoken motto is
[14:54]and just like the original inventor of this statement they're nothing but
[15:00]illiterates as ayatollah makadam said wallahi brothers and sisters there is such
[15:05]a gaping lack of actual scholarship when you hear statements like this
[15:12]you realize just how deprived we are this is exactly why uh
[15:16]we've introduced the uh program that we were talking about earlier uh
[15:20]the john the martyr academy because you'd think there's a lot of
[15:24]scholars out there but the reality is when it comes to authentic
[15:31]knowledge it's a cold dark world out there what is this nonsense
[15:34]honestly i mean i can't believe that every marjah advocates for reciting
[15:38]these beautiful duas yet instead of showcasing them to the world as
[15:44]masterpieces and spirituality and devotion i'd have to sit here and defend
[15:49]them against attacks by people who know nothing it's like having to
[15:53]defend the mona lisa from attacks leveled by a fool who says
[15:56]she looks so depressed the colors feel like they're they contradict the
[16:01]human condition um why are you so art centric her eyes are
[16:05]so emasculating honestly it's so pathetic and uh frankly it's exhausting to
[16:12]having uh to debate uh these pseudo-intellectuals and you know imposter uh
[16:18]scholars by the way i mean i i think you know we
[16:20]have to talk about this a little bit on the question of
[16:25]authenticity let me share this example with you to kind of illustrate
[16:28]what i'm trying to say imagine you're invited for iftar at a
[16:32]friend's house she comes she cooks the food she sets the table
[16:37]and brings the food everyone sits down to eat then all of
[16:44]a sudden somebody storms off screaming oh my god this table is
[16:49]full of germs and micro particles or something along the lines of
[16:54]it's against the human condition to eat here or the food itself
[17:00]has harmful microbes so you try to calm that person down and
[17:03]say you know what's going on and he says i saw this
[17:09]documentary on how bio pharmaceutical and medical equipment are made and this
[17:14]table fails to meet the level of sterilization that they use in
[17:19]those factories there is dust there's airborne organisms and vaporized particles it's
[17:25]dirty i can't eat here if that ever happened to you you
[17:30]tell this person to take their pills or to go see their
[17:35]doctor immediately why because it's a logical fallacy the standard of hygiene
[17:39]listen carefully to this the standard of hygiene for biopharmaceutical and semiconductor
[17:46]manufacturing is one thing while the standard for food consumption is another
[17:52]you're confusing two different things it's one thing to require a high
[17:57]standard and a direct connected chain for a hadith about halal and
[18:05]haram but to require that for a supplication shows just how ignorant
[18:08]you are and it shows you really know nothing about authentication because
[18:13]applying say the hawaii strict rajali principles on everything is foolish not
[18:20]least because those principles are today disputed and don't represent the latest
[18:27]mainstream trends in hausa scholarship being in hom or in najef and
[18:31]speaking of rajali principles do you consider yourself a follower of said
[18:35]or are you a mushtahid and have your own principles if you
[18:40]follow hawaii's principles then care to elaborate what those principles actually are
[18:45]because you're not a mustahit and to borrow your own quote we
[18:48]know that you're not a muslim if you're an adherent of said
[18:53]then adhere to his application of those principles you can't cherry-pick from
[18:58]this and that to patch up your inconsistent and incoherent theory that's
[19:03]the problem with someone simply trying to throw around big names as
[19:08]an appeal to authority and intimidate poor unsuspecting souls who don't know
[19:14]any better ask any qualified scholar like our esteemed maraja and they'll
[19:18]tell you that for a dua dua un is more than reliable
[19:25]and once again on the question of authenticity the uh i i
[19:31]think we have to establish that we're dealing with in an individual
[19:35]who's not a scholar worthy of debate but someone with nefarious intentions
[19:41]and an agenda to gut the shia faith and that's key what
[19:46]he's saying does not represent tasha your you want to establish your
[19:51]own religion go right ahead and do that you want to become
[19:55]a liberal sunni do that no one's going to object to it
[19:57]there's been many people like you right several recent fake maraja did
[20:04]exactly that one of them fled to saudi arabia and started wearing
[20:07]the schmack as they call it threw away the turban and the
[20:12]other one ran to some undisclosed location you want to join that
[20:16]club feel free be my guest but people need to know that
[20:21]you do not represent the shia faith and that's all i'm going
[20:25]to say about this
