[0:25]i don't immediately you wonder how many rokhats units have i actually

[0:33]prayed i know many of us have been in these situations and

[0:35]it's important to know the rulings on how we should deal with

[0:42]doubts during salah in this video i will explain the doubts that

[0:44]do not invalidate the prayer the ones that do and the ones

[0:50]that have remedy for them it can be quite complex for some

[0:55]so here are two really important points at the outset number one

[0:58]a doubt is when you're 50 50 about something if you're 60

[1:02]sure for example that you're in the fourth ro then you should

[1:06]ignore the doubt and continue as normal number two if you do

[1:10]have a doubt you're permitted to end the salah there and then

[1:14]by moving away or turning your head for example and then starting

[1:18]the prayer again just make sure though that there's enough time to

[1:24]pray the salah again doubts you can ignore basically if you have

[1:30]any of these doubts don't worry and continue with your prayers as

[1:38]normal number one a doubt about an act for which the time

[1:41]of the performance has passed for example you're in rakuw and you

[1:46]doubt whether you've recited suratul hamd or not number two a doubt

[1:50]after you finish the prayer about something during the prayer number three

[1:56]a doubt that comes to you after the time of the prayer

[2:00]has actually finished for example it's the night time and you doubt

[2:04]something about salat number four if you're someone who doubts excessively i.e

[2:10]more than normal referred to as kathiru sheikh you should ignore it

[2:17]number five doubts in recommended prayers as well as a prayer known

[2:23]as salatul should be ignored b doubts that invalidate the prayers number

[2:29]one if you doubt the number of units of prayer rakats in

[2:32]either fajr salah or mere prayers whilst praying salah is void this

[2:38]also applies in the prayer of a traveler number two in a

[2:42]prayer with four cuts such as asha if before going into the

[2:47]second sajdah of the second rookah you doubt whether you've done two

[2:52]rakats or more for example before you're going to the second sajdan

[2:56]asha you doubt have i played two rakats or three number three

[2:59]a doubt about the number of rokas when you don't know at

[3:04]all how many rukas you've actually done number four a doubt on

[3:08]whether you have performed two or five rakahs or two or more

[3:13]than five rakaats and a few other which are less common but

[3:18]it's important to remember if you do have any of these doubts

[3:22]think about it first see if you can move out of the

[3:28]doubt before you break your salah see doubts that can be fixed

[3:32]first of all let's talk about doubts that happen after the second

[3:39]sajdah of the second ruka number one if you doubt whether you've

[3:43]performed two roka's or three rakaads this is what you do you

[3:47]assume that you've prayed three raka's and hence perform one more roka

[3:52]and complete the prayer after you've finished you perform one raka'ah of

[3:57]what is known as in a standing position now how to pray

[4:03]salatul is explained in another video number two you doubt whether you've

[4:08]prayed two rakahs or four rakahs in this situation you assume you've

[4:16]performed four rakahs and complete the prayer after you have done so

[4:20]you perform two rukas of salatul e-hat in a standing position number

[4:26]three you doubt whether you've performed two three or four cars in

[4:34]this situation you assume you've done four ragas and after the prayer

[4:37]perform two requires of salatu in a standing position as well as

[4:44]two in a sitting position number four you doubt whether you've prayed

[4:49]four or five raka's in this situation you must assume you've prayed

[4:54]four cause complete the prayer and after the prayer immediately perform what

[4:59]is known as sajda as sahu another video explains how to do

[5:05]this the same applies if you doubt whether you've prayed four or

[5:10]six rakaas now let's talk about the doubts that happen in other

[5:14]situations in salah say you are at any stage of the salah

[5:18]and doubt whether you've done three or four rakaas you should assume

[5:24]you've prayed four okays complete the prayer and after the prayer perform

[5:28]one ruka of salatul in a standing position or two raka's in

[5:33]a sitting position or while standing you doubt whether you've performed four

[5:40]or five raka's in this situation you sit down you say to

[5:45]the tashahud and the salam of the prayer and then perform one

[5:50]raka'ah of salatul in a standing position or if you want two

[5:54]raka's in a sitting position sometimes whilst you're standing your doubt whether

[5:59]you've performed three or five rakaas in these situations you sit down

[6:03]you say that tashahudan the salaam of the prayer then you perform

[6:07]two rakaas of salatul in a standing position sometimes while standing you

[6:14]doubt whether you've performed three four or five rakahs in this situation

[6:19]you sit down you recite the tashahud and the salam and then

[6:24]you perform two rakaas of salatul in a standing position and then

[6:29]perform two rokhats in a sitting position as well and finally sometimes

[6:34]when you're standing you doubt whether you've performed five or six regards

[6:39]in this situation you sit down you recite the tashahood and the

[6:43]salaam and then you perform what is known as sachidate this might

[6:48]be quite difficult so it's worth reflecting on it perhaps watching this
