[0:00]We understand that Allah subhana wa ta'ala does not want us to

[0:07]simply read alquran or memorize it.

[0:10]Although reading it and memorizing it are two very important deeds.

[0:14]They are part of the best deeds that people can perform in

[0:17]this world.

[0:19]However, reading the Quran or memorizing it is not the end goal.

[0:24]All wants us to read the Quran or memorize it so we

[0:29]may understand it and then after understanding it he wants us to

[0:33]implement the teachings of Al Quran.

[0:37]Thus you find many verses or multiple verses in the book itself

[0:44]that command us to ponder to think think about what think about

[0:47]the verses about the words of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

[0:53]Allah says in surah Muhammad sallallahu alaihi Do they not ponder upon

[1:04]the words of Quran?

[1:04]Bear in mind the word comes from or is connected to the

[1:14]word which literally means the backside of a particular thing.

[1:16]So when Allah says, it's as if he's telling us when you

[1:23]go by any verse amongst the verses of the holy book, you

[1:27]should take a pause, ponder upon the words of that verse and

[1:31]put your hand in the hands of that verse.

[1:35]I'm speaking of course in a figurative manner.

[1:38]Allow the verse to lead the way and to take you wherever

[1:44]it wants.

[1:45]Will help us understand the book and it will definitely open doors

[1:55]of guidance and doors of insight if we actually perform it.

[2:00]When we read the Quran, sometimes we don't pay much attention to

[2:07]in better terms, we skim through the holy verses.

[2:12]For example, during sh Ramadan, we want to perform a yes, we

[2:16]want to finish the Quran at least once.

[2:19]And so, we read the Quran without without giving much time for.

[2:29]However, it is important to choose some time or to dedicate some

[2:34]time perhaps 10 minutes a day or 10 minutes a week to

[2:41]actually properly deeply ponder upon the words of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

[2:46]Which means every day or at least every week pick one or

[2:49]two verses from the holy book.

[2:55]Read the pertaining to those verses and ponder deeply upon the words

[3:01]of Allah.

[2:59]You will realize that that kind of will truly open doors of

[3:08]what?

[3:09]Doors of guidance, doors of spiritual insight.

[3:11]Hence Allah says Quran.

[3:15]Meaning, oh people, when you read the book, I want you to

[3:20]think about it.

[3:19]I want you to think and ponder and understand it.
