Sheikh Jafar was such a gifted speaker and his sermons were so emotional that they attracted thousands. The number of attendees grew so much that Marvi Mosque could not fit the crowd anymore. With the suggestion of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, he moved to Sepahsalar Mosque, and according to one of his students, 40,000 people attended his sermons. His sermons were so emotional, that often even clerics in the audience started weeping. Many have reported that Nasser Al-Din Shah Qajar himself was often coming to his sermons in an anonymous outfit.

The Whispered Prayers, is a collection of 15 intimate conversations with Allah SWT and the 15 Whispered Prayers are extracted from the book of Imam Zainul Abideen A.S - known as Sahifa Sajjadiya, also known famously as the Psalms of Islam.

Munajaat means "talking" or "having a conversation". In this case, it is the intimate conversations of our Imam with his Lord. Conversing with God regularly is true spirituality, and these conversations between Imam Sajjad (as) and God will really open our eyes. Again, there are conversations for different spiritual states, such as being fearful, hopeful and thankful. Conversing with Allah according to our current spiritual state will only serve to enhance our relationship with him. (al-islam.org)

The prayers start with 'repentance', as repentance is the first step towards a genuine communion with God.

Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Power (The program list of the A'maal is listed below)

Eve of Destiny (Laylatul Qadr) is the night, which is the most blessed and excellent of all nights. A prayer during this night is superior to the prayer of a thousand months. The destiny for the year is decided on this night. The Angels and Roohul Ameen (a highly dignified Angel) descend on this earth, with the permission of Allah (SWT) & call on the Imam of the time, and what is ordained (by Allah) for everybody is presented before the Imam (May Allah SWT hasten his reappearance). It is reported in Hadith that whoever keeps awake on the nights of Qadr shall have his/her sins forgiven, even if they equal the number of the stars in the heaven.

A'maal of the 19th Night of Ramadhan 1441 (Tuesday 12th May 2020):

1. Recite two Raka’t Salaat, in every Rakat: recite Surah al-Hamd and Surah Ikhlaas 7 times. (For seeking protection against sinning for the seven organs)

أثره قطعي ولكن بعد حين!

عيب السلوك هو أن يظهَر أثرُه بعد حين ولكن حُسنه هو أنّ أثرَه قطعي سبب اعتبار العمل أدنى مرتبةً من العلم في مجالات كثيرة هو أنّه يستغرق فترةً طويلةً ليُظهر آثارَه مثاله الدقيق الرياضة فمن بدأ بالرياضة توّا لا ينبغي أن يقيس عضلاته يوميّاً ليرى كم سانتيماً قد ضَخُمَت إنّما عليه أن يبدأ بالرياضة فعلاً لو كنّا جميعاً نكترث بالعمل كما ينبغي لاقتنعنا بهذه الفكرة جيّداً «كلّ شيء يستغرق وقتَه» كلّ شيء في هذه الدنيا يُنجَز رويدا وبتأنٍّ لا تتوقّعوا من السلوك أثرا فوريّاً لقد ورد في الروايات هذا المعنى وروى الإمام الصادق(ع) عن الإمام الباقر(ع): «کانَ یَقولُ: إنّي اُحِبُّ أن أدُومَ عَلَى العَمَلِ إذا عَوَّدْتُهُ نَفسي.. و إن فاتَني في اللَّیل قَضَیتُهُ بِالنَّهارِ وإن فاتَني بِالنَّهارِ قَضَیتُهُ بِاللَّیلِ» سُئِلَ الشيخ بهجت: كيف نداوم على صلاة الليل؟ قال: أي ليلة فاتتك فاقضِها في النهار ثم قال(ع): «وإنَّ أحَبَّ الأعمالِ إلَى اللّهِ ما دِیمَ عَلَیها» ثم قال الإمام(ع): «فإذا عَوَّدتَ نَفسَكَ عَمَلاً فَدُم علیهِ سَنَةً» يتساءل البعض: أفلا تريد أن تتكلّم عن قيمة العلم شيئا؟.. فإن للعلم قيمةً بلا ريب.. ولكنك ضربتَه عرض الجدار مؤكّدا على العمل...؟! أقول: ولكنّي لم أنتقص قيمةَ العلم يا هذا ولكنه أقلّ قوّةً من العمل فما عساي أن أفعل؟ لا يخفى عليكم أن أثر العلم غير قطعيّ فترى أحدَهم يعلم ولكن لا يعمل ولكنّ العملَ ـ يا حبيبي الغالي ـ أثرُه قطعي! يطول مدّةً ولكن يترك أثره قطعا ما قيمة العلم؟ للعلم قيمة عالية. وهل يمكن تشغیل السيارة من دون إدارة المفتاح؟ نعم؟! جيد! لا يؤخذ أصلُ العلم عن المعلّم وإنما ينبغي أن ينبع أصلُه من داخل الإسلام ما يتناقل من المعلومات بهذا الكم فلا أثر له في تقدّم العلم العلم قيّم، كما هو قيّم في المسائل المعنويّة أيضا لماذا؟ لأنك إن كنت فاقدا لبرنامج فلابدّ أن تتعلّمه
ـ وهل أنت تستغلّ العلم لخدمة العمل يا هذا؟
ـ فما تريد أن تفعل؟ أستغله لخدمة عمّتك؟! لابدّ لي أن أستخدمه لصالح العمل
ـ فماذا لو لم يرتقِ العلم إلى عمل؟
ـ لا سبيل لي عندئذ سوى أن أبشّره بجهنّم
«إنّ أدنی ما أنَا صانِعٌ بِعَبدٍ غَیرِ عامِلٍ بِعِلمِهِ مِن سَبعینَ عُقوبَةً باطِنِیَّهً أن اُخرِجَ مِن قَلبِهِ حَلاوَةَ ذِکري» العلمُ بلا عمل يُشقي الإنسان! لا تتوقّعوا من السلوك أثرا فوريّاً مثاله الدقيق الرياضة فمن يبدأ بالرياضة توّا لا ينبغي أن يقيس عضلاته يوميّاً ليرى كم سانتيماً قد ضَخُمَت إنّما عليه أن يبدأ بالرياضة فعلا

دواء للأمراض كلها

النص الفلم:
الصلاة علاج الأمراض المُعضلة، دواءٌ للأمراض كلها. ماذا تفعل الصلاة؟ إنها تقطع طمعَك في الدنيا وتجعله في الله. هل يوافق الإخوة على أن الصلاة تفعل هذا؟ أم عليَّ أن أوضّح كيف نصلّي كي تفعل الصلاة هذا؟ أوضّح.. إذن لا توافقونني على أنّ الصلاة تفعل هذا. آية الله بهجت(ره) عنده الحل، وهو كيف نصلي كي تفعل الصلاة هذا؟
ـ شيخنا، إذا كنتَ تقصد الصلاة بحضور القلب؟ فلسنا من هذا الصنف من العرفاء كي تحدّثنا بهذه الأمور.
ـ كلا أبداً، فأنا أيضاً لست من هذا الصنف من العرفاء.
ـ وإنْ كنت تعني الصلاة بآدابها الكاملة ومستحبّاتها مع إضافة أصناف "التوابل!" فلا وقت لدينا لهذا ولا نستطيع أن نبذل لله كل هذه التضحية!
كيف يجب أن تكون الصلاة لنجني منها أفضل الثمار؟ أفضل الثمار.. بل كل ما تطلبه من الصلاة من ثمار؟ أن تصلّيها أوّل الوقت. سُئل الشيخ بهجت(ره): أول الوقت يعني مع حضور القلب؟ أجاب: أبداً، بل هذه الصلاة العادية نفسها!
لكن ما حُسْن كونِها في أوّل الوقت؟ وهذا ما قصدتُه بالتوضيح. لماذا الصلاة في أوّل وقتها تجعل الإنسان آدَميّاً إلى هذا الحد؟ يا رفاق، أتدرون متى أوّل الوقت؟ أول الوقت هو ما يلي: يتأمّلُك اللهُ، فيقول: "يا ملائكتي، دَعُوا عبدي يمارس حياته بضع ساعات". فتمارس حياتك بامتحاناتها وانشغالاتها المختلفة وفجأة تنشغل بأمر ما، بسيط أو معقّد؛ استراحة، أو درس، أو تجارة، في ساعة يَعلمها الله، فيقول: اَاَاَ.. فليرفع أحدُهم الأذان.. الآن، هذه اللحظة لأرى هل سيترك عبدي ما بيده ويأتي أم لا؟
ـ إلهي، لماذا الآن؟
ـ لأنه في وضعٍ يتحتّم عليه أن يترك ويأتي.. ارفَع الأذان الآن!
ـ عجباً، شيخنا، وهل الأذان هو حسب الطلب؟ ليس له وقتٌ معيّن؟
ـ أجل، ليس له وقت معيّن، اقبَلْها منّي!
ينظر.. يتأمّل، يرى عبده يعيش حياته، فيقول: الآن هو جائع، ليكون اليوم وهو جائع، أَذِّن الآن.. (فأنت جائع)، أَذِّن أَذِّن الآن لأرى أيَترُك ويصلّي؟ فإن ترَك انتهى الأمر، فازَ بالكثير. وقتُ الأذان ليس ثابتاً، لينتبه الإخوة، وقت الأذان ليس ثاااابتاً، الله الذي يحدّد متى يكون أذان كلّ شخص. ثم إنه يعلم متى يُرفع أذانك بالدقة ليجرّدك من حالك السيّئة ويمنحك حالاً أفضل. الله مربّيك في الأخلاق، أستاذك في العرفان
ـ عجباً، هل الله حقّاً هكذا؟!
ـ نعم، هكذا، فلو كنتَ عند الشيخ بهجت(ره) ما كان سيصنع معك؟ كان يعلم كل شيء، كان يقول فجأةً، مثلاً: يا فلان..
ذات مرّة كان آية الله حَقشِناس(ره) خارجاً من درسه وقد وقف مُريدوه يودّعونه، وكان ذلك بعد الصلاة، فنادى أحدَهم فجأةً، هكذا، وقال له: يا سيد فلاني، مهما شتمَتكَ زوجتُك فلا تقل شيئاً أبداً!
قال: شيخنا.. لكن لا مشكلة لديّ مع أهلي!
وذهب..
فعاد إلى البيت، وإذا بمصيبة قد حلّت، واجتمع كلّ أقاربها، وراحت زوجته تُمطره بوابل من الشتائم، فهَمَّ يردّ عليها، وكاد يفقد صوابه، و.. و.. لولا أن تذكّر كلام الشيخ، فلم يقل شيئاً.. وصمتُه هذا هو الذي أعاد حياتَه إلى سابقها. ما أجمل أن يطّلع (الشيخ) على حياة أحدهم فينبّهه في الوقت المناسب! الشيخ حقشناس؟! فما بالك بربّ الشيخ حقشناس؟! ألا ترضى أن يتعهّد (الله) بتربيتك؟ يقول: على رسلك، مارِس عيشَك، وساُصلِحُك بالصلاة فقط، بوقت الصلاة، اُصلِحُك بوقت الصلاة لا غير.. أنت مارس حياتك، الآن أَذِّن يا مُؤذّن، الآن، الآن، ولنَرَ..
الله يعلَم في أيّ لحظة وفي أيّ ظرف من حياة كل امرئٍ يُعلن الأذان. التفِتْ إلَيَّ وقل: لو كان كذلك لاختلَف أذان كلّ شخص عن أذان صاحبه!
ـ نعم، أذان كلّ شخص يختلف عن أذان صاحبه!
ـ عجيب! لكن الكُلّ يسمع الأذان نفسه!
ـ وما دخلُك أنت بهذا؟ في الظاهر أنت تسمع أذاناً واحداً للجميع! هذا الأذان لك وحدك، عليك أنت، الآن، في هذا الظرف، أن تترُك ما بيدك وتصلّي، أنتَ لسبب، هذا لسبب، ذاك لسبب، وذاك لسبب آخر، يكفي فقط أن تقول، في تلك اللحظة: سمعاً وطاعة، وسيُصلح "هو" باقي الأمور بنفسه.. فالله مُعلِّم.
قولُ العلاّمة القاضي(ره): "كُلّ مَن صلّاها أول وقتها نال مقاماً" هل قصَدَ الصلاة بحضور القلب أم ماذا؟
ـ كلا، لو كان هذا قصدُه لسألوه: وكيف نصلّي هذه الصلاة؟ ما الوسيلة إلى الصلاة الكاملة؟ لو قصَدَ هذا فأين الفائدة؟ فلا تكون الفائدة إلا إذا قصد مطلق الصلاة، فإذا التزم أحَدٌ بالصلاة، أيِّ صلاة، في أوّل وقتها فسيبلغ الصلاة الراقية، يبلغها بنفسه، تكويناً.. سيصعد شيئاً شيئاً يوماً بعد آخر.

When a person wishes for something, he admires it in others. “Did you see his car?!” This means I would love to have that car too. “Did you see his house?” This means I would love to have that house too. “Each person’s value is according to what he admires.” [, said Imam Ali (as).] “God, I admire You since You’re flawless.” This means I want Him to correct my flaws. A Human being likes his flaws to be corrected. When you say these things about God, you’re in fact talking about yourself too. When a person says, “سبحان الله [Glory be to God],” he is talking about his own wish. He wants to be flawless too. God is flawless and He likes to make everyone flawless.
You say, “God, You’re flawless.” He says, “What do you mean?” You say, “But I have flaws.” He says, “You’ve said enough. Come to Me.” This is what happens when you say, “سبحان الله [Glory be to God].” When you prostrate and say “سبحان الله [Glory be to God],” what are you thinking about at that time? You say, “O flawless God,” and He says, “Remove my servant’s flaw.” He didn’t say anything special. He just said God is flawless. [But God says,] “He meant ‘I have flaws but You don’t. I’m Your servant and belong to You. No one can resolve my flaws except You. Don’t You want me to become like You?!’”
What does praising Him mean? It means, “I’m thankful. Give me the rest!” And He does. Didn’t He say in the Qur’an, “If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more”? [Qur’an, 14:7] [One says,] “Praise God.” [God asks,] “Why do you praise Me?” [He replies,] “In general. You’ve probably given me some things.” [God says,] “Don’t give this foolish servant more. He hasn’t understood what I’ve given him. He’s doesn’t really mean it.” “God is greater.” This means, “Bring me out of this paltriness.” I don’t mean this is your reason for saying this.
When you say, “You’re so great!” you become great yourself too. This means you like being great. “You’re so pure. You have given me a lot!” You understood this?! God says, “Angels, give him more. He understood.”
A tradition says it’s enough if you recognize your blessings. God will increase your blessings. In the traditions, thankfulness means understanding your blessings are from God. You don’t need to do anything else! “God, I’m thankful to You.” You don’t necessarily need to say this. [God says,] “Have you seen the blessings I’ve given you? When you see them, I count this as you thanking Me.”
When you say these things about God, you’re in fact talking about yourself too. “Glory be to God.” This means, “Make me flawless too.” And God likes to resolve your flaws. What does praising Him mean? It means, “I’m thankful. Give me the rest!” And He does.
“God is greater.” This means, “Bring me out of this paltriness.” When you say, “You’re so great!” you become great yourself too.
