[0:03]Here's a roundup of what happened in the last two days.

[0:08]Iran's assembly of experts has officially named Ayatollah Kam's son, Mustaba Kame,

[0:13]as the new supreme leader of Iran.

[0:16]A selection that Trump has called unacceptable.

[0:19]According to Israeli officials, two Israelis were killed and several others wounded

[0:24]today when an Iranian missile hit central Israel.

[0:26]Police said that the missile carried a cluster warhead that hit at

[0:29]least six different sites.

[0:33]Hezbollah also launched a significant missile and drone barrage that hit central

[0:38]Israel, resulting in several injuries.

[0:39]The US Central Command has announced that a seventh US service member

[0:43]has died from wounds sustained during the war with Iran.

[0:45]Israel targeted oil storage facilities in Tehran and Elours, causing massive fires

[0:51]and sending thick smoke over the capital.

[0:54]Witnesses in Tehran said that the smoke was so thick that it

[0:56]looked like the sun had not risen.

[1:00]This is the first time civilian industrial oil facilities were targeted in

[1:11]In response, Iran's president vowed to expand attacks on US targets across

[1:16]the region on the 9th day of the war.

[1:18]Iran's retaliatory strikes against Gulf nations targeting US assets continued on Sunday.

[1:22]The Kuwaiti army said that a wave of hostile drones targeted fuel

[1:27]storage at Kuwait International Airport.

[1:31]Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, and Qatar also reported new aerial attacks.

[1:36]The escalation has affected global markets with crude oil prices surging past

[1:44]$120 per barrel before settling near $113 as fears of supply disruption

[1:48]across the region increase.

[1:49]According to Lebanon's Ministry of Health, an Israeli strike targeted the Ramada

[1:53]Hotel in the heart of central Beirut in a major escalation, killing

[1:57]at least four people and injuring at least 10.

[2:01]While indiscriminate bombardment continues across southern Lebanon, the Becca Valley, and Beirut,

[2:06]the Israeli army announced that two Israeli soldiers were killed in southern

[2:10]Lebanon as Hezbollah continues operations against northern Israel.

[2:13]Lebanon's death toll from Israeli strikes has risen to over 480, according

[2:19]to the Lebanese Health Ministry, and over 700,000 displaced, according to the

[2:25]Lebanese Social Affairs Minister.

[2:25]Netanyahu also demanded Iran's surrender, threatened it with what he called a

[2:31]surprise that will destabilize the country.

[2:33]But Iran remains committed to defending itself, something its foreign minister, Arashi,

[2:38]said will continue until a permanent end to the war.
