Today's War Update: US-Israeli War on Iran and Lebanon
On March 21, 2026, the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran entered its twenty-second day. Airstrikes hit Iran’s Natanz uranium enrichment facility, Khuzestan, Isfahan, Ramsar, and a tourism complex in Ahvaz, killing civilians, including children, while Iran’s air defenses struck an Israeli F-16. For the first time, Iran launched long-range ballistic missiles at the UK–US base on Diego Garcia. The IRGC announced its 70th–72nd waves of retaliatory strikes, targeting over 55 sites across the region, including U.S. bases in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, and Bahrain. Iranian missiles hit Israel’s Dimona nuclear area, Rishon LeZion, and Arad, causing dozens of casualties. Fighting continues in southern Lebanon, with Israeli airstrikes killing 20 and H*zbollah engaging invading forces while firing rockets at Kiryat Shmona, Meron, Avivim, Nahariya, and Misgav Am. Meanwhile, the U.S. approved a 30-day waiver on Iranian oil sanctions, though Tehran dismissed it as a psychological operation.
