[15:44]mahdi adjallah wa ta'ala farajah imam hussain woke up on the day

[15:54]of ashura and prayed the morning prayers with his companions then he

[16:01]stood and addressed them and told them that allah has permitted your

[16:05]deaths and my death today so have patience and fight then he

[16:11]prepared them for the battle and they were 82 brave and courageous

[16:16]warriors already to fight the enemies zohayr ibn al qayn was entrusted

[16:24]with the right wing of the army of the imam and habib

[16:28]ibn mavahir with the left wing standard was given to abel fadulillah

[16:34]abbas because he was the bravest and most courageous omar ibn saad

[16:42]the commander of the army of yazid performed the morning prayers on

[16:48]the day of ashura as well and came out with 30,000 troops

[16:54]was entrusted with the right wing and may allah curse him with

[17:03]the left wing as ra'ibin tais was put in charge of the

[17:07]horsemen and ship the ibn arabi in charge of the foot soldiers

[17:12]the standard was given to the weighed when the opposing army advanced

[17:18]towards imam hussein he raised his hands and supplicated oh allah i

[17:26]put my trust in you in every tribulation you are my hope

[17:31]in every distress you are my trust and provider in every affair

[17:37]that falls upon me the enemy approached the tents of imam hussein

[17:43]and observed the fire that the imam's companions had lit one of

[17:48]the opponent's horsemen cried out loudly hussain are you rushing towards hell

[17:54]fire in this world before the day of resurrection see how they

[18:00]had no mercy in their hearts imam hussein responded who is this

[18:06]who is this person speaking it sounds like they replied yes it

[18:14]is then the imam said you are more entitled to be scorched

[18:20]by the fire muslim ibn ausaja said oh son of the messenger

[18:26]of god may my life be sacrificed for you give me permission

[18:32]to shoot a narrow and kill shimer the imam replied do not

[18:39]fire at him for i do not like to initiate the battle

[18:42]battle when the enemies began to approach him he called for his

[18:47]horse and addressed them loudly so that everyone can hear people listen

[19:50]woman calmed down imam hussein praised and glorified allah and he sent

[19:56]blessings upon muhammad and god's angels and prophets one reporter said god

[20:03]i have never heard a speaker more eloquent than him in my

[20:07]life then the imam said trace my descendants and reflect upon who

[20:14]i am think and rebuke yourselves do you think it is lawful

[20:19]to kill me and violate my sanctity am i not the son

[20:24]of your prophet's daughter am i not the son of your prophet's

[20:29]successor ali abi talib did you not hear the famous statement of

[20:35]the prophet about my brother and me these two are the masters

[20:40]of the youth of paradise then he said if you do not

[20:51]believe me and are in doubt ask ask they are all companions

[21:09]of rasulullah and they will confirm that they heard this statement from

[21:14]rasulullah about me and my brother is this not sufficient to stop

[21:19]you from shedding my blood imam hussein continued if you doubt what

[21:27]i have said you also doubt that i am the son of

[21:30]the daughter of your messenger by god there is no such person

[21:35]but me search amongst yourselves or or the entire world tell me

[21:41]whether you seek revenge for someone among whom i have killed for

[21:46]property that i usurped for any injury that i inflicted responded to

[21:53]imam hussain then he called out that did you not write to

[22:08]me to come to kufa and that you will fight for me

[22:13]and now you have come here to kill me replied no we

[22:17]did not do so imam hussein responded saying subhanallah by allah you

[22:26]certainly did do so omar ibn saad moved forward toward the camp

[22:32]of the imam and he said the way bring out the standard

[22:37]he then put an arrow in his bow directed towards the camp

[22:42]of imam hussain and he released the arrow saying bear witness that

[22:49]i was the first to strike thereafter the two camps began to

[22:54]shoot at each other and the war began hardly any of al

[22:59]imam al hussain's companions escaped being shot by an arrow the imam

[23:06]said to his companions stand may allah be merciful with you go

[23:13]and meet your imminent deaths for these arrows are the messengers of

[23:19]your enemies to you he and his companions charged and fought with

[23:25]the enemies until 50 of imam hussein's companions fall to fell to

[23:30]the ground martyred after the other the great and loyal companions of

[23:37]imam hussein went to the battlefield and they will arm they were

[23:42]all martyred the imam started to examine the landscape he looked around

[23:50]the battlefield all he could see from his companions was their mutilated

[23:56]bloody bodies on the sands of karbala after losing all of his

[24:01]companions imam hussein was engulfed with sadness he looked to the right

[24:09]he looked to the left and then he started to say oh

[24:29]warriors of the desert why is it that i call on you

[24:32]now but you do not respond how come you cannot hear me

[24:42]anymore are you asleep my companions wake up from your sleep this

[24:55]is your imam calling on you these are the women of rasulullah

[24:59]the family of the prophet needing your support then the imam begins

[25:06]to call them my name look at the loneliness of our imam

[25:14]he began to say but how can they respond to him when

[25:30]they've all been martyred on the plains of karbala no one from

[25:36]the companions of imam hussein remained they were all killed no one

[25:42]remained besides his household 28 loyal brave courageous relatives of the imam

[25:48]and they were determined to face death with their might and dignity

[25:53]the first of them to go to the battlefield was the flower

[25:58]was the flower of the heart of imam hussain the first of

[26:03]them was ali alaikumar when imam hussain sent ali alaikumar to the

[26:11]battlefield his eyes brimmed with tears then he looked to the sky

[26:17]and he said the the imam says oh allah you bear witness

[26:42]that a young man has come to them he resembles your messenger

[26:46]most in his physical appearance in his speech and whenever we would

[26:51]miss rasulullah we would look at the face of then the imam

[26:59]ali yusallam asks allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to seek revenge from those

[27:05]enemies ali yun al akbar fought intensely then he returned to his

[27:11]father saying hussain oh my father hussain thirst is killing me and

[27:28]the heaviness of the armor and the sword is exhausting me then

[27:33]the imam told him my dear son patient for it will not

[27:38]be long before your grandfather shall give you water and you shall

[27:45]never go thirsty again aliyeon iqbal farewelled his mother layla then he

[27:52]went back to the battlefield he fought courageously and resumed the battle

[27:58]then oh believers the tragedy came when one of those evil enemies

[28:05]by the name of murrah ibn munqad al abdi he said may

[28:10]all the sins of the arabs burden me if i do not

[28:14]deprive his father of him continued to attack the people until mora

[28:21]approached him and he struck him on his chest aliyeon al akbar

[28:28]when he was struck on his chest he called out on his

[28:32]father hossein abaya hossein farewell oh my father for now i see

[28:42]my grandfather rasulullah and he has given me the drink that i

[28:47]shall never go thirsty after the enemies pounced on ali and elokma

[28:54]and they cut him into so many pieces with their swords imam

[28:59]hussein rushed to him and he saw that he had been cut

[29:03]up into so many pieces the imam sat down by the body

[29:08]of ali in iqbar and he said my beloved there is no

[29:22]taste to life after you how can i live ever after you

[29:25]oh ali life is not worth living after you imam hussain alaihi

[29:30]salaam then he ordered the young man of bani hashim to carry

[29:35]al akbar's body to the tent soon after the nephew of imam

[29:40]hussein al qasim ibn al hassan came and he told his uncle

[29:46]you abba abdullah oh my dear uncle please give me permission to

[29:52]fight after imam hussein saw the letter of his brother imam hassan

[29:57]he gave al qasim permission to go to the battlefield because initially

[30:02]the imam had refused al qasim kept insisting then when qasim lost

[30:08]hope he remembered that his father al hassan had given him a

[30:13]letter he told him oh my dear qasim if one day you

[30:17]lose hope and you have no way out take out this letter

[30:21]imam hussein when he saw the handwriting of his brother al hasan

[30:26]he broke into tears he gives him permission al qasim put on

[30:32]his armor and he went into the battlefield this young beautiful boy

[30:38]who was like a shining moon went and bravely fought if you

[30:57]do not know who i am then i shall introduce myself to

[31:01]you i am al qasim the son of hassan i am the

[31:05]grandson of the messenger of allah then then amr ibn nufail he

[31:13]saw al qasim and said by god i am going to attack

[31:17]him and kill him then al qasim sandals snapped as he bent

[31:23]down to fix it am struck him with his sword on his

[31:27]head al qasim fell down on his face and he called assalamu

[31:35]alaikaya imam oh uncle they have struck me imam hussain came running

[31:43]like a charging lion and he struck amr with his sword and

[31:47]killed him when the dust settled imam hussain was seen sitting by

[31:52]the body of al qasid oh my dear nephew my qasim do

[32:07]you know how heavy it is on my heart that you call

[32:10]on me but i could not make it to you then the

[32:14]imam carried the body of al qasim and he placed his body

[32:18]next to the body of ali ibn iqbal the imam looked to

[32:23]the right he saw the dismembered body of ali ibn iqbar to

[32:28]the left the body of al qasim what kind of a tragedy

[32:31]allahu akbar may allah help your heart abba abdullah al hussain one

[32:37]after the other the relatives of imam hussain all advanced to the

[32:43]battlefield and were martyred only one man remained now in karbala defending

[32:49]abba abdullah al hussain this was al abbas could no longer bear

[33:02]seeing his friends and family members being killed one after the other

[33:06]he could no longer endure the hearing cries of the children calling

[33:12]out we are thirsty we are thirsty al abbas went to imam

[33:20]hussain and he told him my dear brother my beloved imam please

[33:25]give me please give me permission i no longer have the patience

[33:31]to see what these enemies are doing i no longer have the

[33:35]patience to hear the cries of allah tajj allah tajj the imam

[33:41]tells him my brother abbas you are the bearer of my standard

[33:47]you are the commander of my army can i let you go

[33:52]imam hussain ordered him to bring water for the children if you

[33:57]must go then get them some water al abbas mounted his horse

[34:02]and he headed towards the euphrates river 4,000 men were guarding the

[34:07]river but all abbas through his courage he moved all of them

[34:12]out of the way and finally managed to reach the river he

[34:16]came down and went into the river put his hands in the

[34:21]river to drink but he remembered the thirst of his brother hossein

[34:27]he dropped the water immediately how could he drink when his brother

[34:32]hossein is thirsty oh self humble yourself how can you drink when

[35:10]your brother hussein is thirsty by allah i shall not i shall

[35:15]defend my imam he spilled the water he threw the water then

[35:20]he filled the bucket and headed towards the tents as he was

[35:25]heading back to the tents oh believers the tragedy comes when zayd

[35:31]ibn ratan ibn juhani he ambushed him from behind and he struck

[35:37]on his right hand and he suffered the hand of i swear

[35:57]by life you cut my hand don't think that's going to stop

[36:01]me no i'm going to continue al abbas he still had hope

[36:05]at this point he continued marching towards the tents of abba abdullah

[36:11]hoping to get the water to the children he carried the bucket

[36:16]with his left hand he was only worried about taking the water

[36:20]to the tents but this time one of those evil enemies by

[36:26]the name of hakim ibn tufayn he ambushed ambushed him from behind

[36:32]and he struck him on his left arm now lost two of

[36:38]his arms oh allah they've amputated my left hand but abbas be

[37:06]strong don't fear the enemies he still had hope he was he

[37:10]still managed to save the bucket from being spilled abel fadlil abbas

[37:17]was now surrounded by his enemies they began to shoot arrows and

[37:22]spears at him from every direction oh believers you know when a

[37:27]bus lost hope when an arrow came and it hit the bucket

[37:31]and spilled the water another arrow came and pierced his chest another

[37:39]arrow landed in his eye oh believers then he was hit with

[37:44]a pole on his hand and abbas fell and called my farewell

[37:57]to you abba abdullah al hussain al abbas fell to the ground

[38:01]imam hussain alaihi salaam rushed to him but in what condition did

[38:06]he see him he saw that he had his hands severed arrows

[38:11]all over his body and abbas was breathing his final moments when

[38:18]imam simon that state he sat with a broken heart my brother

[38:33]now my back has been broken the imam alaihi salaam sat and

[38:42]placed the head of abbas in his lap he said it is

[38:46]me abbas your brother hussein i'm your brother hussein and abbas told

[38:51]him forgive me brother that i had to die so soon oh

[38:56]believers then abbas's soul departed he became a sheikh what is abbas

[39:03]alai going to do now the imam went back to the tent

[39:08]crying and grieving his daughter sakina asked him father hossein where's abbas

[39:15]did he make it back did he bring some water lady zaynab

[39:19]came inquiring about abbas what is the imam going to tell them

[39:23]he went to the tent of abbas and imam took down the

[39:28]tent zaynab got the signal that she lost her brother abbas when

[39:37]al abbas was killed imam hussein turned to see that no one

[39:41]was left to help him he saw his companions and family members

[39:46]all slaughtered and their bodies mutilated on the ground he heard the

[39:52]wails of the orphans now imagine the scene of abba abdullah standing

[40:00]by the tent with a with a broken heart calling on someone

[40:06]to help the family of the prophet look at the loneliness of

[40:20]abdullah is there anyone to support us is there anyone to support

[40:24]and defend these women and children there anyone to support the family

[40:29]of rasulullah when imam zain al abideen heard that call he stood

[40:34]up leaning on a cane he was extremely ill and he dragged

[40:39]his sword to go and defend his father hossein imam hossein yelled

[40:44]on kulthum his aunt stop him for he if he has killed

[40:49]the progeny of rasulullah will not continue she took him back to

[40:54]the tent imam hussein is now getting ready to go to the

[40:58]battlefield he went to the tent of the woman and he called

[41:03]out oh my sister me my child abdullah al rabi ali azgar

[41:09]bring him let me see him zayna brought al rabi and she

[41:14]gave him to imam hussain imam hussain saw that he was about

[41:18]to die from thirst he he he could no longer move and

[41:23]he has turned pale zaynab told him my brother please go and

[41:27]ask the enemies for a for a few drops of water for

[41:31]this child the imam took him and he went to the enemies

[41:35]and he asked for some water he told them if you consider

[41:40]me sinful then what is the sin of this young child give

[41:44]him some water there was commotion some said yes let's give him

[41:48]some water some said no that point omar ibn saad the commander

[41:53]of the army of yazid he looked at harmala who was an

[41:58]expert archer and he told him yeah harmala end this dispute you

[42:07]know what what you have to do harmala says i was seeing

[42:11]hussein he was carrying his baby in his arms then suddenly i

[42:16]saw the whiteness of the neck of the baby i took out

[42:20]a three pronged spear and i shot the baby and i slaughtered

[42:26]him in the arms of his father jose the baby when when

[42:31]the baby felt the heat of that arrow slashing his throat he

[42:36]took out his arms from the swaddle it's as if he wanted

[42:41]to embrace his father it's as if he do wanted to tell

[42:44]his father father this is the water that they give me you

[42:55]are watching oh allah you are seeing what's happening to me allahu

[42:59]akbar what a tragedy the imam went back to the times he

[43:04]gave back his infant son to sakinah to zainab how did they

[43:11]see him did they see him what condition they saw him slaughtered

[43:16]instead of being fed water now the imam saw that it is

[43:23]the time for himself to go and fight he moved towards the

[43:28]enemies raising his sword he fought like a lion and killed many

[43:33]of those enemies omar ibn saidiyaad he said this is the son

[43:38]of the killer of the arabs meaning imam ali surround him and

[43:42]fight him the enemy surrounded the imam and shot many arrows at

[43:46]him imam hussein shouted at them and he said oh followers of

[43:51]abu sufyan if you have no religion at all and you do

[43:56]not fear the day of judgment then at least be free men

[43:59]in this world they told him what are you trying to say

[44:03]the imam said as long as i am alive do not attack

[44:06]the women and the children in front of me then the imam

[44:10]went back to the tent to say his final farewell to his

[44:15]family he called on them one by one by their names oh

[44:38]woman come this is the final farewell the tragedy is very near

[44:42]it's coming allahu akbar they gathered around imam hussain he told them

[44:48]get ready for affliction and tribulation and be aware that allah is

[44:53]protecting you and he will save you from the enemies he shall

[44:58]punish your enemies and compensate you for this tragedy so do not

[45:03]say anything that you shall regret then the imam after they all

[45:09]farewelled him they embraced him this was the last time they would

[45:14]see abba abdullah alive the imam said to zainab he was suggesting

[45:20]to her who's going to bring my horse allahu akbar which sister

[45:27]has to bring the horse of death to her brother this was

[45:30]zaynabun al masa'id yes the imam he mounts on his horse he

[45:37]he's about to leave the tent when he hears a very faint

[45:41]call someone calling on him the imam looks back he sees it's

[45:46]his daughter sakinah the imam is surprised i just farewell to you

[45:51]what do you want father father come down from the horse the

[45:55]imam he comes he comes down from the horse father father sit

[46:00]on the ground when imam hussain sits on the ground lady zakinah

[46:05]comes she sits next to the imam she tells him father place

[46:10]your hand on my head wipe my head because i shall be

[46:14]orphan soon and there will be no one to do that for

[46:19]me so qayna you're breaking my heart the imam farewelled her he

[46:38]mounted his horse for the second time was about to leave leave

[46:42]the second time again the imam heard a faint voice calling on

[46:47]him what's the matter who's calling on me the imam looks back

[46:51]this time he sees it's his sister zaynab ahiy hussain my brother

[46:57]hussain comes zaynab why i just farewelled you don't you know i

[47:00]don't have time i need to go and fight these enemies and

[47:03]defend you before they launch their final attack ahi hussain please come

[47:08]down just this last time imam al hussain he comes down from

[47:12]his horse he comes towards lady zaynab she approaches him she embraces

[47:18]him lady zaynab then tells him akhir hussain uncover your neck let

[47:25]me see your neck when she sees the neck of abba abdullah

[47:30]she kisses him on his neck then she looks towards madina she

[47:35]says peace be upon you mother fatima i have fulfilled your request

[47:48]imam hussein asked her zaynab what is this request you're talking about

[47:52]she told him hussein when my father when my mother fatima was

[47:56]passing away called on me she told me zaynab when you see

[48:00]your brother hussein in karbala lonely with no one to support him

[48:07]kiss him on his neck for me because that is where the

[48:10]sword shall suffer his neck the imam hiked her and he wiped

[48:27]the tears of lady zainab then the imam he mounted his horse

[48:35]and he went to the enemies the enemy started to surround him

[48:40]omar ibn saad he said don't have mercy on this man today

[48:44]surround him from every direction the enemy surrounded the imam and started

[48:48]to shoot him with their arrows imam hussain attacked the an enemy

[48:54]like an angry lion and he killed anyone that faced him then

[48:59]he took out a bow and an arrow oh believers then he

[49:06]shot the imam came into the forehead of abha abdullah the imam

[49:11]pulled out the arrow from his forehead and his blood gushed all

[49:15]over his face the imam became very weak he stood in a

[49:23]corner to rest it was then that a man he came and

[49:28]he hit the imam with a stone on his forehead then another

[49:33]man shot him with a three pronged arrow that pierced the chest

[49:38]of abba abdullah he began to say the imam you know what

[49:50]he did he took the blood and he stained his beard with

[49:53]it he said this is how i shall meet my grandfather rasulullah

[50:02]and then he raised his head towards the sky and he said

[50:07]oh allah you know very well that they are killing grandson of

[50:12]your prophet as soon as he took out the arrow from his

[50:23]chest the blood gushed forth like a drain pipe and he placed

[50:28]his hands on the on the wound yes he said what gives

[50:33]me consolation is that allah is watching watching watching watching the imam

[50:38]alaihi salaam we're nearing the tragedy oh believers at this point imam

[50:43]alaihi salaam he remained powerless on the ground was losing more and

[50:49]more blood every time one of the enemies came to kill him

[50:54]ran back saying by god i cannot kill him because i see

[50:59]the eyes of rasulullah in his eyes how could they kill someone

[51:04]like you o waaba abidullah the enemy surrounded him again zar'a ibn

[51:12]shuraik he struck the imam on his shoulder another one of the

[51:18]enemies hit him on his mouth another one struck him on his

[51:23]chest and another one on his back imam raised his hands in

[51:29]this dua these are the final seconds of the life of abba

[51:32]abdullah you know what he said the imam never complained give me

[51:49]the patience oh allah i wholeheartedly submit to you is now at

[51:55]this point that the horse of imam hussein begins to circulate in

[51:59]him even the horse of ababa abdullah was defending the imam al

[52:03]imam al baqar says the horse of ababa abdullah was crying saying

[52:07]what an act of injustice they're killing the grandson of rasulullah but

[52:14]you know what happens now the horse imam al maidi he captures

[52:18]this this moment in ziyaratunnah the horse this time goes back to

[52:25]the tents of the woman and the children they hear the horse

[52:31]of abba abdullah coming to the tent they had a shimmer of

[52:36]hope is imam hussein back but you know how they see the

[52:41]horse imam al mahdi says your horse was running towards the tent

[53:07]ababa abdullah when the woman this time they saw the horse they

[53:11]saw the horse without the rider they realized the tragedy had come

[53:17]lady zaynab came running out with a deterrent where are you ababa

[53:20]abdullah your whole your horse is without the rider came they ran

[53:25]towards the scene from a nearby hilltop they were seeing what was

[53:31]happening know what they saw this is what they saw zainab started

[53:37]to watch her brother hossein when she saw him on the ground

[53:41]in that situation she started yelling i wish that the entire world

[54:03]would be destroyed because of what i am seeing imam hussein he

[54:07]lay on the floor the blood gushing from his body then she

[54:11]looked at omar ibn saad she told him omar ibn saad how

[54:21]can you look at abba abdullah when he is being killed is

[54:25]there any muslim here to defend hussein allahu akbar you know what

[54:30]was the response of omar of insa'at he yelled and he said

[54:34]go to him strike him finish him oh believers here comes the

[54:43]tragedy how can we say the tragedy of abba abdullah zaynab instead

[54:50]of them heeding your call you know who came
