The Important Message of Ghadeer - explained by Professor Muhammad Shojaee with English subtitles

Professor Shojaee highlights the important message of Ghadeer, and its importance is that all people learn that they need an infallible expert (s). This is because the biggest and most important question on the Day of Judgement is the question about your relationship with the Imam of your time, and the quality of that relationship. Professor Shojaee explains more.

The love of Ali [AS] to believers, is as sunlight and water are to flowers. Through this love, we blossom. Through this love, our souls are beautified.

Congratulations to our Imam al-Zaman [ATFS] and to all the believers on the auspicious day of Ghadeer.

Eid Ghadeer Mubarak!

What is Eid al-Ghadeer?

The eighteenth of the month of Dhul-Hijjah marks the day of Eid al-Ghadeer, one of the most important occasions for the school of Ahl al-Bayt (pbut). It is the day in which the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was commanded by God Almighty to appoint Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) as his successor and leader of the people after him. After the Holy Prophet disseminated the message, God sent down a revelation to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) stating, “On this day I have perfected your religion, completed My favors to you, and have chosen Islam as your religion.” (Surah Maida, verse 3) Islam only became a completed, perfected religion after the appointment of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (AS), as the Holy’s Prophet’s successor.

One of the biggest blessings that He has given us (and that we must thank Him for) is the ability to remain on the path of the Ahl al-Bayt (pbut). Imam al-Sadiq states (p), “This is the day of worship, prayers, and [giving] thanks to God and praising Him. It is a day of happiness due to the obligation which God has laid upon you in regard to our authority (wilayah), and surely I love to see you fast on this day.” (Wasail al-Shia, vol. 7, p. 328.) The day of Ghadeer is a day where we thank God for opening our hearts and allowing the love of the Holy Household (pbut) to guide us. Thus, among the most important dynamics of praising God on the day of Ghadeer is to be truly thankful for being amongst the followers of Imam Ali (p).
