[0:00]Imagine [sighs] Alhamdulillah.
[1:26]Thank you.
[1:27][snorts] Respected brothers and sisters, there are moments of our existence where
[1:43]we feel very unfamiliar with life.
[1:47]There are moments of deep discomfort.
[1:53]Alisam speaks about these moments when you are taken out of your
[2:03]comfort zone and you are taken into an area into a place
[2:05]that you're not familiar with a place that's new and imam says
[2:13]there are three of those moments that are the most difficult you
[2:20]feel the most loneliness on those three days and moments because they're
[2:24]very difficult times.
[2:28]The first imam says is the day that you emerge from your
[2:35]mother's womb and you enter this world.
[2:37]When we are born, my dear brothers and sisters, that is a
[2:41]very difficult day because we're new to this world.
[2:46]We're afraid we're terrified.
[2:47]If you remember, and I hope you don't remember because you're not
[2:51]supposed to remember, when you came out of your mother's womb, you
[2:57]were crying.
[2:56]You were a little crybaby.
[2:59]You wanted to go back to that world that you were living
[3:02]in for 9 months.
[3:05]So, it was a very difficult experience.
[3:08]Number two im says the day we die when they take us
[3:14]out of our bodies out of our houses and they want to
[3:19]put us in our graves.
[3:18]That's also a day that we don't look forward to.
[3:23]It's a day that we will feel the im says lonely.
[3:28]You're all alone.
[3:27]You don't want to go to a place that you've never seen.
[3:32]You're unfamiliar with.
[3:33]And finally number three im says the third most difficult day loneliest
[3:42]day is the day that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala gives you birth
[3:50]again is the day that Allah resurrects you after we die brothers
[3:55]and sisters we believe that Allah will resurrect our bodies and after
[4:01]Allah resurrects our bodies the day of judgment will begin.
[4:04]Alm says when you wake up on that day, you will see
[4:11]realities that you're unfamiliar with.
[4:12]You will see a dun that has completely changed and that's why
[4:16]you will feel very lonely, very difficult and frightening experience.
[4:23]Tonight, my dear brothers and sisters, I'd like to give you some
[4:31]glimpses of the day of resurrection.
[4:32]The day of judgment has multiple names.
[4:35]One of the names of the day of judgment is the day
[4:40]of resurrection because Allah will resurrect us, raise us from our graves,
[4:44]raise us from the dead.
[4:48]How will Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala raise us?
[4:51]In what condition?
[4:52]And what can we do to make that experience more pleasant, less
[4:57]difficult, and less lonely?
[5:01]Now, before we speak about the resurrection, I'd like to back up
[5:06]a little and explain how it all will end.
[5:09]How will this life end?
[5:11]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala when he decides that the dunya, this life
[5:17]will end, he will blow in a trumpet.
[5:23]The Quran says it's very simple.
[5:24]Allah owns a trumpet that the tradition state is greater than the
[5:31]entire world.
[5:30]It's a huge trumpet.
[5:33]It has one end where you blow in it and then on
[5:38]the other side there's two openings.
[5:40]One towards the skies, one towards the earth.
[5:42]When Allah decides that he wants everyone to die and this dy
[5:49]to end, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will summon one of his greatest
[5:54]angels is will come down to this earth.
[6:01]He will carry that huge magnificent trumpet.
[6:02]It's a physical trumpet that the hadith state people will see it.
[6:09]Imagine seeing a huge trumpet in the sky and Allah will order
[6:12]him to blow in that trumpet and Allah says this in the
[6:17]Quran.
[6:19]And when the trumpet is blown into every living being will die
[6:34]instantly.
[6:31]The sound of that trumpet is so strong, so powerful that no
[6:38]life can stay alive in front of it.
[6:42]It will wipe out all of life within a split second.
[6:46]Every human being on earth will fall to the ground and die.
[6:54]Every animal will die.
[6:54]Every plant, every the Quran says every soul shall die.
[7:00]And not just human beings that are alive.
[7:03]Even human beings who had died because when we die our body
[7:11]dies but our soul remains.
[7:11]It continues to live.
[7:13]And the traditions of B tell us that our souls will be
[7:18]taken to different places based on our iman.
[7:22]For example, the souls of the believers will congregate in Wadi Salam
[7:26]in Naj close to the shrine of so millions if not billions
[7:34]of souls they're all roaming around in Wadi Salam and in other
[7:38]places whether good or bad all the souls will die meaning the
[7:42]prophets of Allah their souls are alive they will all die once
[7:49]that trumpet is blown into the imam comes everyone and even the
[7:55]hadith says even the angels of Allah that's why the Quran says
[8:00]even the ones in the skies how many angels does Allah have
[8:05]brothers and sisters trillions they will all die in one hadith explains
[8:14]he says only three angels will remain The verse makes an exception
[8:23]that there will be a few that will remain.
[8:25]Says three angels will remain.
[8:29]Number one, number two is who blows in the trumpet and number
[8:35]three is the angel of death.
[8:38]Allah tells the angel of death.
[8:41]Take the soul of it's not easy for the angel of death
[8:48]to take the soul of this is the trustee of Allah.
[8:49]This is who Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala would send to communicate with
[8:54]every prophet of Allah.
[8:57]Now it's only the angel of death and is Allah subhanahu wa
[9:05]ta'ala then he orders is he tells him die and he dies
[9:10]no more israel and then it's only Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and
[9:14]the angel of death there's an interesting hadith from I believe either
[9:18]either or Allah then will look at the angel of death and
[9:24]he will tell him Allah will tell the angel of death today
[9:35]I will make you taste give you a dose of your own
[9:41]medicine you used to take the souls of every everyone on earth
[9:47]today I will take your soul let's see how it feels so
[9:51]the angel of death brothers and sisters Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will
[9:55]take his soul soul.
[9:58]I remember I mentioned this in a lecture once and someone made
[10:01]a loud salawat.
[10:02]They were very happy as if the angel of death is is
[10:04]an enemy.
[10:05]You know, it's as if we human beings are getting our revenge
[10:08]against the angel of death.
[10:11]The angel of death, remember, is just a soldier, a servant of
[10:14]Allah.
[10:15]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala orders him and he goes.
[10:18]So Allah subhanaa tala takes the soul of the angel of death.
[10:23]Now no one remains except Allah.
[10:25]the entire universe.
[10:28]It's only Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[10:29]When that happens, the Quran says every being will die and only
[10:41]Allah will remain with his might and majesty.
[10:45]And once Allah is alone and every being is dead, Allah will
[10:49]begin to speak to the universe, to this world.
[10:52]Allah says this in the holy Quran.
[10:54]What will he say?
[10:57]To whom does the kingdom belong to now?
[11:00]Allah will address all those that were arrogant, all the dictators, the
[11:06]tyrants, those individuals that caused corruption and tyranny in this dunya.
[11:12]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will tell them who's who is the ruler
[11:18]now?
[11:18]Those that thought they were invincible in this dunya with their powerful
[11:25]army with their mighty ships, their warships and their nuclear weapons and
[11:34]they cause injustice everywhere in the world.
[11:36]These presidents like President Trump and Netanyahu, Allah speaks to them who
[11:42]think that they can get away with anything and they're invincible.
[11:47]Allah will tell them where are you now?
[11:50]Where are you?
[11:50]But they can't even answer because no one is there to answer.
[11:56]It's just Allah and no one else.
[11:59]So Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala replies to himself only Allahel when I
[12:05]told you that I am the owner of this dy of this
[12:12]life now I showed you.
[12:13]So Allah's voice will reverbate, reverberate everywhere on this earth.
[12:20]There's only dead bodies and dead souls.
[12:25]Now once that phase finishes, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala then decides to
[12:30]recreate to resurrect everyone.
[12:38]Almadisam explains he says Allah will send rain heavy rain for 40
[12:44]days it will rain over this earth.
[12:48]Once that rain enters the the earth the bodies the decomposed bodies
[12:59]im says will begin to reform.
[13:01]They will begin to recompose.
[13:06]The bones will begin to connect once again.
[13:08]The flesh will begin to grow through the miracle of Allah subhanahu
[13:14]wa ta'ala.
[13:15]So every body, no matter how many millions of years have passed
[13:19]by since the day that they died, Allah will reform that body.
[13:23]And once the bodies are ready, Allahel will blow in that trumpet
[13:32]again.
[13:33]The first time is everyone dies.
[13:35]The second time everyone wakes up.
[13:38]Allah gives everyone life again.
[13:41]And the Quran mentions this and then another time this trumpet will
[13:47]be used.
[13:49]Allah will blow into it.
[13:54]All of the sudden you see everyone from Adam, from prophet Adam
[14:01]till the last human being that dies, they will all be resurrected.
[14:05]They will wake up.
[14:13]They will wake up, rise from their graves, and like zombies, they
[14:18]will just walk literally zombies.
[14:19]What is a zombie?
[14:19]We will all be zombies one day, brothers and sisters.
[14:23]We'll wake up from our graves and we'll just walk walk to
[14:26]the court of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala.
[14:31]Many people will wake up confused on that day.
[14:35]Allah says this in the Holy Quran.
[14:41]They said they will say, "Oh my god, who woke me up?
[14:46]What's going on?
[14:48]I was enjoying that dream.
[14:49]Why am I up?
[14:54]What's going on?
[14:53]Some others, they will reply to them.
[14:59]Allah tells us the details in the Quran of the resurrection.
[15:04]This is what Allah promised in the You never heard about, you
[15:09]never heard about the resurrection.
[15:11]This is the resurrection.
[15:15]So those individuals that in the dunya, they knew about the Quran,
[15:19]they knew about Allah's plans, they listened to the prophets, they won't
[15:23]be shocked because it's all been informed.
[15:26]But for those individuals that never bothered to open the Quran, never
[15:30]bothered to learn about their dean, about their they'll be shocked.
[15:34]They don't know what's going on.
[15:37]How did I wake up from this sleep that I've been sleeping
[15:39]for a thousand years?
[15:42]So for the believers, brothers and sisters, that experience will not come
[15:48]in total shock.
[15:49]There's a hadith, a beautiful hadith that Bakr narrates from Allah.
[15:56]He says the prophet said that when someone dies do if you've
[16:07]attended the graveyard when they're about to bury someone you would have
[16:11]seen what is when we speak to the dead we're instructing them
[16:18]to sayahillahillah and some other beliefs the prophet says this is a
[16:24]good habit Always when someone dies, tell them after they die, tell
[16:28]them to sayahillahill.
[16:32]Why?
[16:33]One reason we know is because when we're buried in our graves,
[16:40]Allah will send two angels to ask us, to question us, to
[16:43]interrogate us.
[16:44]And what's the first question that they ask you?
[16:47]Who's your Lord?
[16:50]So remind that deceased person so that they aren't confused.
[16:54]They're not anxious and forget.
[16:59]Remind them if the two angels come say Allah is my lord.
[17:03]Sayahillahillallah.
[17:03]But Allah in this hadith he provides a second reason.
[17:07]He says instruct or teach or tell the dead to sayahillahillallah for
[17:13]this will provide comfort for the believer.
[17:16]How?
[17:17]He says, "For on the day of resurrection, when they are awakened
[17:22]by Allah from their dead, from the dead to wake up, they
[17:30]will automatically sayahillahill if you did the for them and that will
[17:34]bring them comfort, that will bring them tranquility so they're not afraid."
[17:42]And then the hadith says told Allah, "Yeah, Muhammad, only if you
[17:46]were to see how that day unfolds.
[17:48]Everyone just waking up, rising from their graves.
[17:51]Only if you were to see how people will remove the dust,
[17:55]they're removing the dust from their heads." Jabrael tells the prophet, "Some
[18:02]people on that day, they will wake up and automatically sayahillahill.
[18:05]Alhamdulillah.
[18:07]Those are the individuals that lived the life of iman.
[18:11]They will be safe.
[18:14]They will be secure.
[18:14]They won't be shocked.
[18:14]But then but then tells the prophet, but there's another group on
[18:20]that day.
[18:21]This other group, they will wake up shocked.
[18:22]They will wake they will wake up in complete bewilderment.
[18:26]What will they say?
[18:32]I can't believe this day has come.
[18:36]I heard about it the day of resurrection but I'm not prepared
[18:39]for it.
[18:41]So some individuals will be glad on that day they will be
[18:45]comfortable because they lived a life that guaranteed comfort for their while
[18:51]others they ignored their they will panic on that day.
[18:57]Now in the remaining minutes that we have brothers and sisters I'd
[19:03]like to mention a few of the characteristics of the day of
[19:07]resurrection.
[19:08]How will Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala resurrect us?
[19:11]In what state in what condition?
[19:14]All according to the Quran and what can we do to be
[19:21]safe on that day.
[19:22]I'll mention anywhere from seven to nine conditions depending on how much
[19:27]time permits me.
[19:29]Number one, all from the Quran, brothers and sisters, this is very
[19:33]beneficial for us so that we can prepare ourselves for that day.
[19:36]The day where Allah resurrects us.
[19:39]Number one, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala on that day will resurrect us
[19:46]and we will all go to Allah alone.
[19:52]We will be by ourselves.
[19:54]He says in the Holy Quran, every single one of you, you
[20:08]will come alone individually to me.
[20:10]You will be raised and you will walk all by yourself.
[20:13]We spend our lives building networks, building connections.
[20:20]We have so many friends, family members, some individuals, they're part of
[20:28]a clan of a 100 people, 200 people, or maybe even more.
[20:30]Allah says on the day of judgment, none of that will be
[20:36]there for you.
[20:35]It's just you and your deeds.
[20:39]That's it.
[20:44]So on that day, if you had taught yourself in the to
[20:50]rely on Allah, you'll be okay because Allah will be there.
[20:54]But if in this dunya you had taught yourself to rely on
[20:58]others, to keep yourself company always with others on that day, you'll
[21:04]be very lonely because there will be no others.
[21:07]There are other people, but they're all like zombies.
[21:12]You don't know anyone around you.
[21:15]No one even wants to talk to you because everyone is focused
[21:20]on themselves.
[21:19]And that's why the traditions of B tell us solitude when you
[21:26]have some time to spend just you and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[21:30]This is the best thing for you brothers and sisters.
[21:34]It's the best thing for your soul, for your iman when you
[21:37]have time to spend just you all by yourself with Allah.
[21:43]Because what does that do to you?
[21:46]It teaches you to learn to have Allah as your company.
[21:53]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the best company.
[21:55]You don't need a sah every single night and friends all the
[22:01]time.
[22:00]Yes, of course, this is a part of our life.
[22:03]But if I'm by myself one day, can I live normally?
[22:10]Will I develop anxiety?
[22:11]Will I be bored?
[22:14]Will I be afraid?
[22:16]Will I feel lonely?
[22:17]If you give them years and years all by themselves, they'll never
[22:23]feel lonely because Allah is there.
[22:25]Dua, speak to Allah.
[22:25]Read the Quran.
[22:28]There's a hadith where im says if everyone on earth dies I
[22:31]just have a copy of the Quran I'll never be lonely because
[22:36]I will be spending all that time with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[22:40]So this is number one your relationship with Allah no connection besides
[22:49]your connection with Allah will help.
[22:53]Number two, the Quran says that on that day we will be
[22:57]born and we will come out of our graves in the same
[23:02]way that we were born in the dunya.
[23:05]In the same way that we left our mother's womb and we
[23:10]entered the dunya, we will leave our graves and enter the day
[23:13]of judgment.
[23:15]When we were born, brothers and sisters, we did not own anything.
[23:21]You didn't own a single dollar.
[23:22]You didn't have any connections, any status.
[23:26]You don't have anything.
[23:31]No record, no social security.
[23:33]A king and a slave, they're both born in the same way.
[23:39]You don't own anything.
[23:42]On the day of judgment, we will be born in the same
[23:48]way.
[23:49]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says and you will come back to us
[24:00]after we die.
[23:59]Allah says you will be resurrected in the same way that you
[24:04]came into this dunya.
[24:04]You do not possess anything.
[24:08]You do not own anything.
[24:09]And even the hadith state when you're born, you don't even have
[24:13]clothing, do you?
[24:14]Have you ever seen a child be born and he's wearing jeans?
[24:17]There's no such thing because you literally come into this dunya empty-handed.
[24:23]You will be resurrected empty-handed.
[24:25]The hadiths tell us that you will be resurrected unclothed.
[24:32]Nothing.
[24:33]Imam mentions that in dua and I mentioned it a few nights
[24:40]ago.
[24:41]He says, "I cry for the day of my resurrection.
[24:53]I'm all alone.
[24:56]I have no clothing." This is how we will be resurrected.
[25:02]But there are some traditions that tell us there are exceptions.
[25:07]There are some individuals who will be clothed by their because the
[25:13]only thing that you will have on that day with you is
[25:15]your deeds and some deeds will give you that shelter will give
[25:21]you that clothing that you need on the day of judgment.
[25:23]There's a couple of examples I'll quickly mention two.
[25:28]One example sallallahu alaihi wasallam is narrated in one hadith.
[25:32]He tells his companions one day he tells them on the day
[25:36]of judgment there will be a group of believers who Allah will
[25:39]resurrect them and they will start moving across the lanes across the
[25:44]roads.
[25:45]They're trying to get to the front until they get to the
[25:47]front.
[25:48]When you see these individuals, the prophet said they will be clothed
[25:52]with garments of n of light.
[25:56]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will give them garments, but that garment is
[26:01]made out of light.
[26:02]That's unbelievable.
[26:04]That's something we don't see in this life, but we will see
[26:06]in the next life.
[26:08]And then the prophet says, "And on their face you will see
[26:11]N and on their foreheads you will see the marks of sujud."
[26:17]The marks of sujud because they used to place their forehead on
[26:21]the earth not on the carpet on the earth.
[26:24]This is where a mark is left on your forehead from sujud
[26:27]from salah.
[26:29]So [clears throat] the prophet then tells his companions that these individuals
[26:34]will be honored by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala receive VIP treatment such
[26:39]that even the angels will be surprised they'll ask who are these
[26:43]individuals and the prophet stops one of his companions the hadith says
[26:51]ask who are these people that even the angels even the angels
[26:56]they will envy them who are these individuals Sam said those individuals
[27:07]are the of and their im is Ali Abi.
[27:17]The true SH of Ali, not those individuals that lived as Shia
[27:23]by name only because I was born as Shia.
[27:27]My parents were sh and thus I pass as a sh no
[27:32]true shia individuals that follow in the footsteps of this is what
[27:38]it means to be a shia and I've mentioned this multiple times
[27:40]brothers and sisters you're born a Muslim but you're not born a
[27:46]sh is a position a status that you have to earn your
[27:49]parents could be but you're not shia why because your parents demonstrated
[27:54]through their through their behavior here through their actions that they are
[27:59]indeed followers of but I did not do that but I didn't
[28:04]show that I didn't express that [snorts] so the position of do
[28:08]not take it lightly it's not just because I loved it's much
[28:14]deeper it's much more than that you have to what show obedience
[28:20]you have to show your loyalty toam so the of on that
[28:26]day told his companions.
[28:31]They will be clothed with garments of N.
[28:32]Alhamdu.
[28:38]The second example provides those individuals that will be clothed on the
[28:46]day of judgment.
[28:49]He says, "Those people that were companions of the Quran, but when
[28:55]they were young, you see, brothers and sisters, reading the Quran, reciting
[29:02]the Quran, being a companion of the Quran, always having it with
[29:08]you, this is good throughout your life.
[29:11]But if you become a companion of the Quran, a friend of
[29:15]the Quran while you're young, this has extra benefits.
[29:18]And I im speaks about this in this hadith.
[29:22]He says, "For those individuals that familiarize themselves with the Quran while
[29:27]they're young, not when they're old, when they're young, they're teenagers, they're
[29:31]in their 20s and 30s, and they spend time with the Quran,
[29:36]learning the Quran, reciting the Quran, listening to the Quran, as we
[29:42]spoke about that last night, such that the Imam says such that
[29:46]the Quran mixes with their flesh and blood.
[29:49]It becomes a part of their life." The Quran becomes a part
[29:51]of their life.
[29:53]The Imam says on the day of judgment, the Quran will be
[29:59]your lawyer.
[30:00]The Quran will defend you.
[30:02]The Quran will protect you and the Quran will speak for you.
[30:06]The Imam says that you will be resurrected.
[30:08]If you were a c a companion of the Quran when you
[30:13]were young, you will be resurrected with the Quran.
[30:15]So what is it?
[30:16]A physical copy of the Quran?
[30:17]Is it symbolic?
[30:19]Allah.
[30:20]But you will be resurrected with the Quran and the Quran will
[30:23]speak to Allah.
[30:26]The Quran will tell Allah, "Yeah Allah, every individual who had a
[30:30]companion who worked for anything, you gave them their jazat.
[30:33]You gave them the reward.
[30:37]This individual is my companion.
[30:38]He used to recite me while he was young.
[30:42]while he could have spent his time on music on all these
[30:46]wastes ways that we waste our time watching shows TV sah whatever
[30:53]it is but this individual every day he used to recite the
[30:56]Quran even if it's five minutes even if it's one minute brothers
[30:58]and sisters he used to learn the Quran he used to listen
[31:03]to the Quran the Quran will ask Allah ya Allah please give
[31:09]him the best jazah the best gift.
[31:12]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will tell the Quran.
[31:12]Yes, this is when the hadith of im says that Allahawel will
[31:18]gift this young individual.
[31:19]When he was young, he used to love reciting, reading, learning the
[31:23]Quran.
[31:24]Allah will gift this individual two garments from paradise and he will
[31:30]be he will be clothed with those two garments and Allah will
[31:35]give him a crown.
[31:35]Allah will tell him on this day you're a king because you
[31:40]took the Quran seriously.
[31:41]You cared about the Quran when you were young.
[31:44]When you had so many desires that were taking you different directions,
[31:48]you decided to turn to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[31:53]This is the second example.
[31:54]So these are two conditions that we spoke about.
[32:01]Number one, we will all be resurrected alone and go to Allah
[32:05]alone and be tried alone.
[32:05]Number two, we said we will enter that day as we were
[32:10]born.
[32:11]We don't own anything.
[32:11]We don't have any possess possessions.
[32:14]Number three, on that day, the only thing that we will have
[32:20]with us is our deeds.
[32:24]And our sins on that day will hold us ransom.
[32:28]Our sins on the day of judgment, they will burden our backs.
[32:32]We will literally carry our sins on our back.
[32:37]The Quran says the Quran says that when you wake up on
[32:43]the day of judgment, that's true.
[32:46]We said you wake up just like the day that you were
[32:48]born.
[32:49]But there is what?
[32:51]But you're connected.
[32:51]You're linked to something.
[32:52]Just like a child has that umbilical cord.
[32:55]that has to be cut.
[32:59]You will be resurrected while you are bound to your deeds, to
[33:02]your sins.
[33:03]You can't run away from your sins.
[33:04]And the more sins, the heavier I will be.
[33:07]I'll have to carry them on my back.
[33:10]Remember, the day of judgment has how many stations?
[33:11]50 stations that you have to go through.
[33:14]How much walking will we have to do on that day?
[33:18]Allah.
[33:19]Imagine carrying all that load on your back.
[33:24]The lighter you are on that day, the faster, the easier you
[33:27]can move and finish the day of judgment and go to paradise
[33:33]inshallah.
[33:32]So this is one of the conditions of the day of judgment.
[33:36]Sall wasallam in his sermon where he spoke about the month of
[33:42]Ramadan and he told people that the month of Ramadan is coming.
[33:44]It's a month of mercy and forgiveness and blessings.
[33:48]Later on in his speech he mentioned these words.
[33:52]He says the prophet said that no your soul is bound to
[34:06]your sins to your deeds.
[34:08]So free yourself from your sins from that burden through if you
[34:15]don't want to carry that load on the day of judgment Allah
[34:20]has provided easily solution he's provided it for us the prophet says
[34:23]and we talked a whole lecture we talked about repentance and asking
[34:27]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala for when you ask Allah for repentance you
[34:31]repent to him you ask him for forgiveness Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[34:35]will remove will destroy that load off your back.
[34:40]So when you wake up on the day of judgment, you wake
[34:42]up light and you can easily move from one stage to another.
[34:48]And then Allah says, "And your backs are burdened.
[34:57]Have mercy on your back." Allah says, "Your backs are burdened with
[35:01]your deeds, with your sins.
[35:05]So make it lighter.
[35:07]Make the load light lighter.
[35:09]How says dojud the longer your is brothers and sisters the more
[35:18]the effect of forgiveness will be on your life.
[35:22]And that's why this is something the used to always do sujud
[35:25]sometimes we don't do sujud brothers and sisters outside our salah.
[35:29]One of the best acts you can do is sujud because when
[35:33]you are in the position of sjud you are closest to Allah.
[35:36]Some people think if if you want to speak to Allah, go
[35:41]up, go high.
[35:43]No.
[35:40]The tell us you want to speak to Allah, place your forehead
[35:45]on the earth.
[35:47]This is the closest position you will be to Allah subhanahu wa
[35:50]ta'ala.
[35:51]The longer you extend your sujud, the more Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[35:57]will forgive you and will shed those sins off your back.
[36:00]So this is the third condition of the day of judgment, brothers
[36:04]and sisters.
[36:04]because we will all carry our deeds on our back.
[36:07]Number four, the fourth condition that we will be resurrected with that
[36:15]the Quran speaks about is that some people will be raised from
[36:20]their graves while they are blind.
[36:24]Even though when they died they had vision.
[36:28]Even though when they died they had 2020 vision.
[36:32]There was nothing wrong with their eyes.
[36:35]But when Allah resurrects them, they Allah will resurrect them blind, without
[36:44]eyes.
[36:40]Allah says this in the Quran.
[36:44]He says, "And whoever turns away from Allah in this, whoever turns
[36:56]away from the remembrance of Allah is not interested in Allah and
[36:59]in what Allah has to offer.
[37:03]First of all, Allah says that you will not be comfortable in
[37:09]this.
[37:10]In this you will live a life of anxiety, a life of
[37:12]inner inner confusion and con constrictness.
[37:17]Even if you have the best outer life, >> even if you
[37:31]have the best outer life, but inside you will not be comfortable.
[37:34]You will be always confused and you will not have that inner
[37:40]peace.
[37:41]So this is what Allah says.
[37:43]But then Allah says, but that's only the beginning.
[37:46]That's only in this life.
[37:49]If you turn away from Allah in this life, you will not
[37:52]find comfort.
[37:53]And then Allah says, and the second effect of turning away from
[37:59]Allah in this dunya is that on the day of judgment, when
[38:04]Allah resurrects you, he will resurrect you blind.
[38:07]And then Allah mentions the complaints, the objection of those individuals.
[38:14]When some of us wakes up, inshallah it's none of us here.
[38:18]But when that individual wakes up and he sees that he has
[38:20]no vision.
[38:22]I died while I had vision but now Allah took away vision
[38:27]from me.
[38:25]He will complain to Allah.
[38:29]Why have you taken my vision?
[38:32]Why am I blind?
[38:34]When I died, I had 2020 vision.
[38:37]Why am I blind now?
[38:38]Allah will reply to him.
[38:38]Allah will tell him Allah tells him in the you acted blind
[38:50]to me.
[38:51]You acted as if you couldn't see Allah subhana wa tala.
[38:55]You see Allah gives us sight and he gives us insight.
[38:57]He gives you the and he gives you the he gives you
[39:02]the sight of the eyes and the sight of your heart.
[39:05]Imam Ali says your heart has eyes.
[39:07]It can see but not through sight through insight.
[39:10]Through your insights, you're able to see Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[39:15]You're able to speak to Allah.
[39:17]You're able to see the communications of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[39:21]If someone decides to live a life of blindness, but not physical
[39:29]blindness, spiritual blindness, any as if they don't see Allah, as if
[39:35]Allah doesn't exist.
[39:34]Even if they believe in Allah, but they don't care about Allah.
[39:37]Just like a blind person who walks over everything and causes a
[39:43]mess.
[39:44]They walk over the of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala as if Allah
[39:47]is not watching as if Allah is not there.
[39:50]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in the Quran if in this dunya
[39:56]you act like I'm not there on the day of judgment I
[39:58]will take your vision.
[40:02]I will take your bus.
[40:01]And on that day the only way for you to make it
[40:06]to the next station is you have to see.
[40:08]You have to use your eyes to go to move to the
[40:10]next station.
[40:10]What are you going to do?
[40:11]You're going to have to beg others.
[40:14]Beg others to hold your hand and take you.
[40:15]But the Quran says, "You think anybody's going to care about me?
[40:20]Please, I can't see.
[40:23]Help me.
[40:24]Go to the next station." Too bad.
[40:25]Why did you do this to yourself?
[40:27]This is self-imposed, self-inflicted blindness.
[40:31]Because in the dunya all you cared about was dunya and you
[40:37]were blind to the communications of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[40:41]Now Allah takes my vision from me.
[40:43]This is what happens on the day of judgment brothers and sisters.
[40:46]So if you want Allah to give you that 2020 vision, open
[40:52]the eyes of your heart.
[40:52]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has given you vision of the heart.
[40:58]And Imm Ali Ali in one hadith he says if you notice
[41:00]that your heart's vision is not so strong you're struggling with it
[41:07]he says the best way to make the vision of your heart
[41:09]more clear he says is through of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala remembrance
[41:14]of Allah he says it is what it is granting it gives
[41:22]clarity to the eyes of the heart remember Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[41:30]and the duas of that we mentioned these are the best ways
[41:34]to remember Allah so when you remember Allah throughik one of the
[41:40]benefits is that this what this retains and fixes and strengthens the
[41:44]vision of your heart so this is number four the fourth condition
[41:48]of the day of judgment number five the Quran tells us that
[41:53]on the day of judgment ments.
[41:56]There will be some faces that will be radiant, bright, and there
[41:59]will be other faces that are dark, black.
[42:02]There will be faces that will be happy, joyous, rejoicing, and there
[42:10]will be other faces that will be sad, frowning, and crying.
[42:14]Your face on the day of judgment will reflect your soul in
[42:22]this dunya.
[42:21]He says in the holy Quran, There are faces, beautiful faces that
[42:28]are radiant.
[42:30]They are smiling and laughing.
[42:35]This is the believers like you, inshallah tala.
[42:38]But then there's another group.
[42:44]But there's another group of people.
[42:47]Their faces will be filled with dust.
[42:50]You can't even see their eyes.
[42:53]You can't even make of how they look.
[42:55]You can't recognize them because their faces are so dark.
[43:00]Why?
[42:59]Because their souls were dark in this dunya.
[43:03]And this is how Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala resurrects them on the
[43:09]day of judgment.
[43:09]The day of judgment, your exterior, brothers and sisters, reflects your interior.
[43:14]In this in this dunya, in this life, we can hide.
[43:19]We can fix our exterior, right?
[43:21]If there's any pimples, any blemishes, you can use makeup.
[43:26]We curate ourselves.
[43:26]We can hide whatever we want.
[43:28]But on the day of judgment, there's no filters.
[43:32]There's no makeup.
[43:32]There's no mask.
[43:35]However, your true self, your nephs, your reality, your inner self was
[43:42]in this dunya.
[43:41]Allahawajel will make that visible on my face.
[43:46]So make sure brothers and sisters to truly fear Allah.
[43:50]Not just to fear people and run away and hide behind filters
[43:54]and behind makeup and behind names and whatever it is.
[44:00]Allah subhana wa ta'ala tells us that a day will come in
[44:02]which I will be exposed.
[44:03]Meaning my inner self will be exposed to everyone.
[44:08]There will be no secrets.
[44:10]There will be no interior.
[44:11]So make sure that your interior is good.
[44:15]It's kindness.
[44:18]It's generosity.
[44:17]It's sincerity.
[44:19]Do not contain within you brothers and sisters vices, arrogance, envy, hatred
[44:26]towards others while I pretend and act that I'm such a good
[44:29]person but my interior is different because Allah on that day he
[44:32]will show my true self.
[44:37]This is number five that our faces will reflect our souls in
[44:42]the dunya.
[44:42]Number six, on that day, brothers and sisters, it will be pitch
[44:50]black.
[44:51]Why?
[44:51]Because there's no sun.
[44:52]There's no light.
[44:54]And you need to make it to the next station, the next
[45:00]stage, the only light, the Quran says, on that day is the
[45:04]N that Allah gives to the believers.
[45:05]He says in the Holy Quran, On that day you will see
[45:18]light you will see but the N will emanate from the believers
[45:21]depending on how much im says im you had that's how bright
[45:28]your N will will be on the day of judgment and that's
[45:30]how far you can see and thus there are disbelievers there are
[45:34]hypocrites that Allah speaks about in the holy Quran they will tell
[45:39]the believers it's pitch like but he sees his friend he was
[45:42]a believer he has they will tell them that give us from
[45:48]your light please let us borrow from your light you have so
[45:54]much light give me some of that it's pitch black here but
[45:57]Allah subhana wa ta'ala will tell these individuals Allah tells them go
[46:03]back to the duny and take light how can they go back
[46:08]to the duny Allah subhana wa tala I will tell them this
[46:10]N is N that was in the heart of the believers in
[46:16]this it was spiritual N now it becomes physical N.
[46:18]If you want N on that day light then create it create
[46:23]it through your heart through your through your im.
[46:27]So Allah will tell them go back go back to the dunya
[46:29]and try to collect some n there because this is where we
[46:35]create our n for the next life.
[46:37]This, my dear brothers and sisters, is I believe number six.
[46:42]I'll mention one more because we're out of time.
[46:46]Inshallah, I will end.
[46:49]And the last one, brothers and sisters, that I'd like to mention.
[46:53]The seventh condition on the day of judgments that Allah subhanahu wa
[46:57]ta'ala will resurrect us with is that everyone will be resurrected hungry
[47:02]and thirsty.
[47:04]Allah says this in that same sermon I referenced the sermon where
[47:12]he introduces the month of Ramadan.
[47:15]He mentions in his sermon when he tells us about fasting.
[47:27]He says that on when you fast during the month of Ramadan,
[47:33]you will feel hunger.
[47:34]You will feel thirst.
[47:36]He says, "Let this hunger and thirst remind you of the hunger
[47:40]and thirst of the day of judgment.
[47:42]For this hunger and thirst of the dunya is so temporary only
[47:48]from you know at you can eat all you want.
[47:49]You'll stuff yourself.
[47:52]But on that day Allah says it's a day that's 50,000 years
[47:58]long.
[47:58]So remember when you fast in this dunya your hunger and thirst
[48:03]on that day so that you're inspired to do deeds so that
[48:05]Allah eases your hunger and thirst.
[48:10]Now what eases hunger and thirst?
[48:12]Imam Ali Alisam speaks about this in one hadith.
[48:14]He says on the day of judgment there are 50 stations.
[48:18]There are 50 stations on the day of judgment.
[48:22]And he says the first of those stations is where Allah subhanahu
[48:24]wa ta'ala will resurrect you all alone.
[48:27]You're naked.
[48:28]You have nothing, no one besides you.
[48:32]No connections, no money.
[48:33]And then the Imam says, "And everyone will be everyone will be
[48:41]hungry and thirsty." But then the Imam says, "But if someone raises
[48:50]rises from their grave while they have iman in Allah, they have
[48:54]im in the messenger of Allah.
[48:56]They have imul they believe in what taught and what brought.
[49:04]I believe in all of the teachings of Allah and I submit
[49:11]to them." and you believe in Jenna and the day of judgment.
[49:16]Imm says [clears throat] Allah will save you.
[49:24]Allah will protect you from hunger and thirst of the day of
[49:26]judgment.
[49:27]So your belief, my dear brothers and sisters, your iman is what
[49:31]will save you on that day of judgment, from all of the
[49:37]horrors, from all of the difficulties.
[49:38]Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says that for individuals, for some individuals, and
[49:45]that is the believers, they will not have to worry.
[49:50]They will be safe on that day.
[49:53]It is the individuals that turn their hearts in this dunya to
[49:57]what?
[49:57]to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[49:59]They soften their hearts through the beautiful duas of there's just one
[50:04]hadith I wanted to mention and I know I'm over time just
[50:07]three minutes and I'll be done with this.
[50:09]There's a hadith from imam.
[50:11]In this hadith the imam shows us one of the most beneficial
[50:15]acts for the day of resurrection for how I am resurrected and
[50:19]the loneliness of the day of judgment.
[50:24]Almadisam he says on the day of judgment the believer will rise
[50:29]from his grave Allah will call him and he will notice that
[50:35]he is not alone there is someone a figure with him but
[50:38]he doesn't know he or she doesn't know who this is that
[50:43]figure tells him today follow me don't worry about anything you're going
[50:46]to see a lot of scary things you're going to see people
[50:48]confused as the Quran says people as if they're intoxicated That's how
[50:54]confused and afraid they are.
[50:55]That figure will tell you don't be afraid.
[50:57]Just hold my hand and walk with me and I'll take you
[51:03]to paradise.
[51:02]Alisam says that this figure will take you through the first station,
[51:08]will take you to the second station.
[51:09]It will speak for you.
[51:10]It will defend you.
[51:11]It will take care of you.
[51:12]You don't have to do anything.
[51:13]You just tag along until finally it takes you to the last
[51:19]station to the gates of paradise.
[51:21]Once you arrive at the gates of paradise, this figure tells you,
[51:25]"Enter paradise." Before you enter, you tell this individual, "Thank you so
[51:29]much.
[51:30]Who are you?
[51:30]You're an angel that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala sent." This figure tells
[51:35]you, "No, I am your own actions that you created in the
[51:43]dunya." That figure will tell you, I am the happiness, the joy
[51:50]that you brought to the heart of a believer.
[51:52]Remember in the dunya, you made someone's day.
[51:54]You smiled in the face of someone.
[51:57]You gave someone financial help.
[51:59]You gave someone some advice.
[52:03]You gave them some comfort.
[52:04]And you make their day.
[52:05]When you instill that happiness, you bring joy to someone's heart, to
[52:09]a believer's heart.
[52:12]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala took your action and he made it into
[52:15]this form so that I guide you to the final destination to
[52:18]Jenna simply because you instill joy in someone's heart.
[52:24]Brothers and sisters, do not belittle the small acts of kindness that
[52:28]you do for others in the community, others in the society.
[52:33]For it may be that it is this small act of kindness
[52:36]that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will use on the day of judgment
[52:42]to save me and to allow me entry to paradise.
[52:45]We ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to grant us inshallah ease on
[52:49]that day safety and to grant us access to the paradise of
[52:53]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala with Muhammad and al Muhammad with now I
[52:59]ask you to turn to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala open your hearts
[53:05]as we listen to al recite the beautiful hadith as the imams
[53:10]of who are our patrons our they show us How important and
[53:18]how blessed it is to always remember Muhammad.
