[0:14]that many of our youth are facing today is the problem of

[0:20]atheism many of our youth are beginning to doubt and the existence

[0:24]of the Almighty Allah and some of them even go to the

[0:30]extent of disbelieving in and becoming atheists many parents mothers and fathers

[0:35]come to me and they tell me say it my son has

[0:39]so much doubt in Allah my daughter no longer believes in Allah

[0:42]she has left Salah she has left her job she doesn't come

[0:44]to the center because she does not believe in Allah anymore and

[0:50]you find usually these individuals these young youth are affected by other

[0:54]people he either has an atheist friend that has influenced him or

[0:58]in some cases I have heard an atheist teacher in high school

[1:01]or in the university that tries to convince him of becoming an

[1:06]atheist that instills doubt within his heart and they tried to drag

[1:11]these people who usually are not educated towards atheism just before I

[1:16]came here to the city I was lecturing in another community and

[1:23]I had lectured therefore more than once and I noticed that one

[1:26]of the brothers after a week his son he had a son

[1:31]I remember used to always attend and was active as teenage son

[1:33]17 18 years old he never attended once so I asked some

[1:39]of the brothers that I never saw the son of this this

[1:41]man he never attended what's what happened is he here they said

[1:46]yes is here and they told me say it this young man

[1:48]has turned into an atheist she are the father she I religious

[1:53]last year he would attend every night so Allah asked questions listen

[1:56]to the lecture this year he never showed up once because he

[1:59]had turned into an atheist and you find this problem exists in

[2:04]so many communities that are young children they are being dragged by

[2:08]this one by this disease of atheism so the question is how

[2:11]can we protect our youth how can we protect our sons and

[2:15]our daughters from going towards the direction of atheism how can we

[2:19]help them if they're suffering from atheism if they're struggling and they

[2:23]have doubt within their minds and hearts about atheism if my son

[2:28]comes to me and asks me Father I'm having doubt that Eliza's

[2:31]don't think that my family my sons are immune my daughter is

[2:38]immune no may God forbid even in my family it may happen

[2:40]if my son comes to me Father who says Allah exists my

[2:46]teacher says there is no God or he may have doubt do

[2:50]I know how to help that son of mine that daughter of

[2:52]mine because some of us unfortunately as soon as if we hear

[2:57]that right away we will start to you know escalate things and

[3:00]become violent and aggressive and maybe we'll even kick that son out

[3:04]of the house that's not the correct way to deal with our

[3:08]children if they are having problems in the society so if such

[3:10]a problem may god forbid insha Allah never happens in my family

[3:13]but there's always going to be difficulties and trials that Allah soprano

[3:21]son and daughter or youth may not be my son or daughter

[3:24]a youth in the community who is suffering who is struggling with

[3:27]this idea of atheism they have doubt that Allah exists how can

[3:31]we help them how can we protect their Iman their faith what

[3:37]do we do now in order to address this issue first we

[3:40]have to first identify the common factors that lead to atheism first

[3:45]we have to see why this person chose atheism to begin with

[3:50]why did they stop believing in God why did they choose to

[3:53]become an atheist because different people become atheists for different reasons not

[3:58]every atheist is an atheist for the same reason everyone has their

[4:02]own reason for why they decided to disbelieve in God and become

[4:05]an atheist so first we have to analyze the reasons why they

[4:10]chose atheism only then we can fix the problem only then we

[4:13]can prescribe the suitable and the correct remedy for this disease of

[4:18]atheism now when it comes to the factors leading to atheism most

[4:25]atheists don't become a he is because of intellectual reasoning don't think

[4:31]that most atheists you have today in the world became atheist because

[4:34]they found there's so much intellectual logical proof that you know this

[4:39]proves God or that leads to atheism no it's not because of

[4:45]logic because if you speak logically there is just so much proof

[12:43]the universe had a beginning that means there was a time in

[12:45]which it was not there then who brought it into existence it

[12:49]brought its own self it doesn't make sense it's preposterous to believe

[12:53]that so you use the what that cause and effect argument this

[12:56]is called the cause and effect argument every effect has a cause

[13:02]there cannot be any effect with this is what this is common

[13:05]sense every human being knows there can't be any effect with the

[13:07]cause if you see something fall down you can ask why did

[13:11]it fall down correct even if its gravity as simple as gravity

[13:14]and that's why if you leave the earth you go in space

[13:17]nothing falls down if something falls down in space scientists will try

[13:21]to figure out what brought it down you can't tell them it

[13:23]was an accident can you know scientists will accept it was just

[13:29]an accident chance so you don't accept chance in a small apple

[13:32]that's falling down but the entire universe it had no cause just

[13:40]by chance just by accident so these are the the arguments that

[13:42]we use with the young ones and of course the more sophisticated

[13:55]to buy a phone so you see all the phones are placed

[14:05]phones until you come across the iphone you see it's written iphone

[15:33]you know the memory card the graphics card the Wi-Fi the GPS

[15:38]the camera the touchscreen all these things they just by chance came

[15:43]together and there you had they formed the iphone through decades of

[15:49]evolution and selection that you have an iphone if that store associate

[16:01]look at this person as the biggest idiot in the world won't

[17:26]all the work of chance and this human being that thinks that

[17:30]innovates that speaks that has free will and moves and speaks this

[17:37]was all the work of chance isn't this much more absurd of

[17:41]preposterous when I believe this was just the work of chance just

[17:44]through millions of years some piles of rocks and this and that

[17:50]they came together to form this beautiful sophisticated universe if it was

[17:54]chance an accident here accident there are millions of accidents they formed

[17:59]this beautiful then how is it that this world is so flawless

[18:02]how come gravity works every day chance is the opposite of order

[18:06]accidents are the opposite of order that means one day gravity should

[18:09]work one day should stop one day things should go up instead

[18:15]of how come is it fixed every single day why what's keeping

[18:18]this all ordered there is someone there's an intelligent being that is

[18:24]making sure everything is kept in order or else it doesn't make

[18:30]sense you just have to use these examples smallest thing you don't

[18:33]have to even use the iphone example my friends just use the

[18:37]example of what just use the example of a paper clip if

[18:42]you see a paper clip on your desk and atheist tells you

[18:45]who made that paper clip can you tell him this was by

[18:49]chance that paper clip has all these you no one can you

[21:26]and the cause and effect argument this is all clear most atheists

[21:30]become atheists for emotional reasons not for logical reasons and there are

[21:35]two main reasons so that's why I said when you want to

[21:40]help that struggling youth see what was the problem for him leading

[22:56]God doesn't exist he's what he's appealing to people's emotions not to

[23:00]their intellect when we become emotional we go far from the truth

[23:04]you have to always be you know in a way in which

[23:11]you don't let your emotions affect you don't let your emotions lead

[23:15]you towards the wrong way be objective so he was what he

[23:20]was a game I saw it was a game he's appealing to

[23:21]people's emotions just like some politicians what this is what they do

[23:24]when they want to convince people to vote for them they have

[24:12]are you doubting his existence because of your ignorance of evil just

[24:16]because you don't understand why there's evil that means you reject God

[24:22]isn't this arrogance and this is the second problem my friends I

[24:25]said number one it's because of the problem of evil number two

[24:28]arrogance some people because they're arrogant they don't accept a lot we'll

[24:32]get to this so just because I don't understand why there's evil

[24:37]or why Allah permits evil does it mean he doesn't exist doesn't

[24:46]someone's doing that means this person is wrong no it could be

[24:54]don't understand why kids are dying and why there's evil that means
