[4:20]we mentioned last night that Islam is the religion of mercy and

[4:29]that our Prophet was a merciful tolerant Prophet even with his enemies

[4:35]and we mentioned the stories about the mercy of with his enemies

[4:41]and we said despite that fact our religion is always being attacked

[4:45]Islam is the religion of violence and terrorism Islam is a religion

[4:49]that promotes all this extremism and violence that we see and we

[4:55]said that thus it is vital for all of us every single

[4:59]one of us to educ educate ourselves about this in order that

[5:03]we are able to refute these false accusations and to disprove these

[5:07]claims that when one tells me that your Prophet was a violent

[5:14]Prophet or your religion is a vient religion I have to know

[5:17]how to answer with the proof or else everyone can make claims

[5:21]it's not about making the claims it's about bringing proof and evidence

[5:26]to prove what you're claiming so yesterday we spoke about the first

[5:32]point howo treated his enemies and we proved through historical analysis that

[5:38]when he overpowered his enemies and when he had the chance to

[5:44]destroy his enemies he chose to spare them he chose to forgive

[5:47]them and we mentioned the stories and we said these are the

[5:49]stories that we have to let the non-muslims know about the mercy

[5:53]of this is point number one tonight we'll speak about Point number

[6:00]two and that that we said many times our Prophet was accused

[6:02]or is accused of being a man of war meaning that our

[6:08]Prophet spread his religion and his faith through War contrary to for

[6:12]example Jesus they tell you that Jesus he spread his faith and

[6:15]his teachings through love while Muhammad s Muhammad Muhammad while Muhammad spread

[6:27]his teachings through the sword and they will tell you that the

[6:32]whole Prophet how did he advance so much and how did he

[6:34]build a kingdom he built it through the sword through Wars and

[6:37]battle and he would force people to become Muslims and if they

[6:42]would reject the prophet would kill them and I mentioned yesterday that

[6:45]even the pope he accused our prophet of being a violent and

[6:48]inhumane man and he said Muhammad spread his religion By The Sword

[6:52]and there are books written about this against our Prophet there is

[6:57]a book titled Muhammad the man that spread his religion by the

[7:00]sort so if I am faced with this accusation do I know

[7:04]how to refute this do I know how to show that this

[7:06]is all false or not this is what I will do tonight

[7:10]I will show you how you can prove to the non-muslims or

[7:13]to anyone that accuses our prophet of being a man that spread

[7:16]his religion By The Sword how can I refute this accusation how

[7:21]can I disprove this and show that no Muhammad did not prove

[7:24]did not spread his religion By The Sword but rather through love

[7:28]through wisdom and through his his manners this is how he spread

[7:34]his religion so this is what we will look at tonight now

[7:38]historians state that throughout the 23-year period thato was preaching Islam for

[7:45]23 years throughout this 23-year period how many battles was rasool Allah

[7:51]engaged in historians State 29 battles was engaged from the time he

[8:00]was sent till he died there were 29 battles the Muslim had

[8:04]and in addition to that there was approximately 50 military Expeditions they

[8:09]were small military Expeditions that the prophet would send so put 50

[8:13]plus 29 you have almost 80 battles and Military Expeditions now some

[8:17]non-muslims they use this number to prove that our Prophet was violent

[8:24]you see look they tell you look 29 battles 50 military Expeditions

[8:27]altogether 80 this seems like a violent person a violent leader now

[8:32]there are four or five points we have to keep in mind

[8:37]when it comes to these battles Point number one that we have

[8:43]to know about these 29 or 50 military Expeditions Point number one

[8:49]our state the historians state that every single one of these battles

[8:56]was Defensive none of the Prophet none of the battles of the

[9:00]Prophet were offensive offensive never did one day wake up and say

[9:04]you know what let's go and launch a huge offensive and attack

[9:09]a certain tribe or a certain country or a certain people just

[9:12]so what just so we expand our territory just so we force

[9:15]them to be Muslims not even one put a challenge to those

[9:20]individuals that attack your Prophet tell them I challenge you bring me

[9:23]one of the battles of our Prophet that were offensive that he

[9:27]started all of them were defensive the enemies initiated the attack rol

[9:31]Allah is going to defend himself of course and in some instances

[9:37]rasool had made certain pacts treaties with the non-muslims of his time

[9:43]many times they would break those treaties they would kill Muslims would

[9:48]then go to fight to what to retaliate and it was Defensive

[9:52]at the end of the day the only reason why he fought

[9:56]them was because they broke the treaty if the treaty was respected

[9:59]would never fight against his enemies even so all these 29 battles

[10:05]and the military Expeditions they were all defensive this is number one

[10:09]this is the first point that what that you have to tell

[10:11]them none of them were offensive they're all defensive words the second

[10:14]point that we have to tell them is that tried his best

[10:20]he tried his best to what he tried his best to stay

[10:26]away from fighting he tried his best to make peace how through

[10:29]two ways the first way is historians state that before every battle

[10:34]when he would come with his troops and the enemies come with

[10:41]their troops would always offer them a chance to become Muslim he

[10:45]would tell them look we don't have to fight if you become

[10:47]Muslim we we can become friends and stronger he would offer them

[10:52]this chance to become Muslim before every fight and if they would

[10:55]accept there would be no need to fight even though they had

[10:59]broke the treaty even though they had killed Muslims but he would

[11:02]tell them if you become Muslims then then what then we could

[11:06]solve this situation and that's why you see in the in the

[11:13]famous story that happened between IM and in the Battle of Al

[11:17]AB was a very strong Warrior he challenged anyone of the Muslims

[11:25]to come and fight him IM aliam he was young he came

[11:27]and he told him I will fight you but before he fought

[11:31]IM Ali told him look I offer you the chance to become

[11:34]a Muslim if you become a Muslim we don't have to fight

[11:37]now obviously would reject it but this was the strategy of before

[11:41]every battle he would give them a chance to become Muslim and

[11:44]if they would there would be no fighting this is number one

[11:46]number two a second way that would try to make peace through

[11:52]is by what before every battle historians say that he would try

[11:56]to find a diplomatic solution to the problem problem so the two

[12:02]sides they come to fight each other they want to fight would

[12:04]meet with the leaders of the enemies and he would try his

[12:09]best to make peace he would try to solve it diplomatically he

[12:11]would tell them there's no need to fight we'll give up a

[12:13]few things and you give up a a few things and let's

[12:17]make a peace treaty because fighting is always what fighting would always

[12:22]be the last resort he would try his best to stay away

[12:28]from fighting and that's what and that's why historians state that out

[12:31]of the 29 battles do you know how many actually ended in

[12:35]fighting so the two sides would come carrying the swords and the

[12:40]Shields and the spears they wanted to fight would try to make

[12:42]peace do you know how many of these 29 battles ended up

[12:48]in fighting only nine only nine of the 29 battles ended in

[12:52]fighting rol successfully managed to make peace in 20 of them so

[12:55]they went backas we don't have to fight because we have diplomatically

[12:59]solved it 20 battles was able to make peace because his his

[13:07]main objective was to stay away from fighting because was a merciful

[13:10]man he did not want to see Bloodshed he did not even

[13:12]want to see his own enemies being killed or fighting 20 out

[13:17]of the 29 Allah successfully managed to make peace only nine of

[13:22]them Allah had to fight defensive Wars and yet they tell you

[13:25]Muhammad spread his teachings By The Sword Muhammad was a violent man

[13:29]where are they getting their facts from do you see these people

[13:34]are not sincere they have evil motives behind what they are saying

[13:38]behind their accusations or they're just ignorant they are misled they have

[13:43]the wrong facts so you leave the 20 that made peace in

[13:47]and you concentrate on the nine which were defensive and you say

[13:50]based on these nine battles Muhammad was violent what about the 20

[13:54]that he was able to make peace in in those nine instances

[13:58]the enemies didn't want peace they wanted to fight had to defend

[14:02]himself so which Muhammad are you speaking about the Muhammad I know

[14:06]the Muhammad I read about is nothing but VI is nothing but

[14:08]Mercy nothing but forgiveness nothing but peace nothing but tolerance there's absolutely

[14:14]no violence Subhan Allah you see sometimes when these individuals make these

[14:20]claims you see how ignorant they are they have absolutely no idea

[14:25]of they haven't read history they see something on the Internet they

[14:30]hear some you know some fanatic say something and Kal they base

[14:33]all their information on that and that's why we have to challenge

[14:36]them when you say Muhammad was violent bring me the proof where

[14:39]are you getting this from so you find that managed to make

[14:44]peace in all those 20 battles only nine L they were led

[14:50]to fighting and this is the order of Allah subhanahu wa taala

[14:52]Allah says in the Holy Quran he tells the prophets that when

[14:56]you come to fight the enemies and if the enemies want peace

[15:05]you have to accept peace you can't say no I don't want

[15:07]peace I want to fight this is unacceptable in Islam if the

[15:12]enemies want peace the Muslims have to make peace because fighting is

[15:16]always the last resort when there is absolutely no other way but

[15:20]if peace is feasible then peace will be the way that will

[15:24]be what the Muslims have to choose Allah says in the Holy

[15:26]Quran and likewise you see just like how all his wars were

[15:30]defensive he would never fight until they would initiate the war you

[15:34]see IM aliam likewise he was in the same he was in

[15:37]the same manner you find that in the Battle of s before

[15:43]the battle began IM aliam he sent a letter to one of

[15:48]his companions one of the commanders and he told him some of

[15:54]the rules of War amongst the things IM Ali told him was

[15:57]this he told him he says and do not begin the fight

[16:06]do not begin the war let them begin it so that once

[16:08]you fight you're defending yourselves they wanted what they wanted to stay

[16:12]away from war and fighting as much as possible if mu has

[16:16]come to fight me then I fight or else I'm not going

[16:19]to fight him and likewise you see on the day of IM

[16:22]Hussein on the day of as when he was there and the

[16:28]enemies wanted to fight him one of his companions by the name

[16:32]of Muslim he told IM Hussein let me throw an arrow and

[16:44]want us to begin the fight let them begin the fight let

[16:46]them be the first ones that throw an arrow or Spear and

[16:51]then we come to defend ourselves this was Allah's Legacy IM Ali's

[16:55]Legacy IM Hussein and all the imams of they would never initiate

[16:59]violence it was always defensive the Holy Quran says if someone has

[17:07]come to what to oppress you to bother you to hurt you

[17:09]then of course you have the right to defend yourself so this

[17:13]is point number two remember number one we said all the wars

[17:16]were defensive number two we said that would try to what make

[17:21]peace before every war and he managed to do so in 20

[17:23]out of the 29 battles this is point number two point number

[17:28]three that we have to keep in mind that when they say

[17:32]our Prophet was violent in those nine battles that did not was

[17:36]not able to make peace because they rejected peace you find in

[17:41]those nine battles he used to gather his asab his companions the

[17:45]soldiers and he used to teach them the rules of War you

[17:49]see alh wasallam because of his Mercy he used to tell his

[17:55]companions that there are certain rules that you have to abide by

[17:58]in War because there are certain countries there are certain armies certain

[18:03]groups that only have one rule when it comes to fighting your

[18:08]enemy what is that one rule defeat your enemy in any way

[18:12]possible whether it's inhumane whether it's merciful whether it uses betrayal whether

[18:18]it uses treachery it doesn't matter the point is destroy your enemy

[18:22]in any way that you can that's their only goal The end

[18:25]justifies the means he used to tell the companions his companions that

[18:31]the end does not justify the mean just because they are your

[18:34]enemies does not mean you can use any evil way any deceitful

[18:39]way to kill your enemies no you have to fight them like

[18:43]a man you have to be honest and straightforward with them used

[18:46]to tell them that number one the first law you're not allowed

[18:49]to kill civilians this is mentioned in our Hadith book he used

[18:52]to tell them you're not allowed to kill civilians only kill the

[18:56]soldiers that are there to fight you so you can't kill children

[18:59]you can't kill the wom if they're not there to fight and

[19:02]you can't kill the old people keep them out of the battle

[19:03]because they're civilians only fight the military personnel only fight the soldiers

[19:09]the Warriors this was the teaching of and that's why he Subhan

[19:14]Allah these groups that claim to follow Allah today like Isis and

[19:18]they claim that they are what Muslims and their role model is

[19:23]but did they follow rol Allah's teachings rol Allah says keep civilians

[19:28]out when they have a problem with someone they include the civilians

[19:31]in their War now you have a problem with the Shia you

[19:36]want to kill for example the you know the the the military

[19:38]of Iraq for example or you have a problem with Bashar in

[19:43]Syria yes and his army why do you kill the civilians why

[19:45]do you kill children whose religion are you following says it is

[19:51]Haram to kill any child keep the children out of it this

[19:53]was the mercy of but you see these individuals like Isis what

[19:58]do they do they explode themselves in areas where there are children

[20:02]every day this happens in Iraq every single day it happens in

[20:05]Iraq it happens in Syria it happens in all the Muslim countries

[20:09]because they're cowards they they have no way of fighting you know

[20:13]head-to-head manto man and that's why when you see that when the

[20:19]Iraqi forces they went into fuja right away they ran away they

[20:21]used they took they took pictures of some of those Isis Fighters

[20:24]they were dressed as women wearing the Abaya just so they could

[20:28]run away you see these people are what they are the Defenders

[20:30]of Islam they are the representatives of Islam go first understand what

[20:34]Islam is then come and fight for Islam so you find that

[20:38]when they have a problem they include the children and the women

[20:41]and the old men this was a very sad story that I

[20:45]read about in the beginning of the month of Ramadan there was

[20:47]a father and a mother in the city of Bagdad they had

[20:52]two children one was a six-year-old daughter and and a 5-year-old son

[20:58]the daughter was called her name was lean the father's name was

[21:05]Abu lean one day in the beginning of Ramadan before M time

[21:08]they're fasting so the mother she tells her husband let's go to

[21:15]the market we need some things forar so I need to cook

[21:17]so they go to the market to buy some things they Park

[21:21]their car it was a very hot day you know it's hot

[21:26]in bdad in the summer so the mother tells the father let's

[21:29]keep the children in the car it's you know and have the

[21:32]AC on because it's very hot the children are sitting in their

[21:35]car the father and the mother they go to the market for

[21:40]5 minutes while they are shopping buying the fruits and vegetables and

[21:43]the other things they need for a all of a sudden they

[21:46]hear a huge explosion from the direction of their car right away

[21:49]they begin to think about their children they Rush towards the car

[21:53]they see that the explosion was right next to the car the

[21:57]car is in Ruins they go and they find find their mutilated

[22:00]bodies of their CH children completely mutilated and they sent pictures of

[22:04]those two children you want to go buy food for you go

[22:08]with your family and you come back with the mutilated bloody bodies

[22:14]of your children by whom who are these crimes being committed by

[22:18]by ISL the Islamic country the Islamic Nation Islamic walli the Jews

[22:24]are more Islamic than these individuals walli these people are as low

[22:30]as a human being can be and they know nothing about Islam

[22:32]you go and you kill children and you find likewise this happened

[22:38]in Saudi Arabia last year it happened in Kuwait and it happens

[22:40]in Iraq all the time they go to a Masjid when they

[22:44]want to kill you they can't kill you in in a battle

[22:46]like a man they come in a Masjid when you're praying to

[22:49]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and they kill you there's children there's old

[22:52]men here that will be killed like what they did last year

[22:54]in Ramadan in Kuwait and inif the explosion ofif last last year

[23:01]Anda and in bdad last year also in Ramadan they come to

[23:03]the masjids and they kill you because these individuals are cowards they

[23:07]cannot kill you in the war zone they kill you while you're

[23:12]praying just like IM Ali how was IM Ali killed wasn't he

[23:14]killed while he was doing sujud because they could no one could

[23:20]dare come close to IM aliam in the battlefield this is how

[23:24]our enemies of B are and this is how B are look

[23:31]fight and look at their enemies back then and look at our

[23:36]enemies now alhamdulillah that Allah has made our enemies such cowards that

[23:40]they cannot come and fight you like a man they have to

[23:42]come and kill civilians and children and kill you while you while

[23:47]you are praying in the Masjid so this was the F first

[23:49]law of before any battle you're not allowed to kill civilians if

[23:54]you see any Muslim killing civilians this person is not a Muslim

[23:57]I don't care what his just ification and excuses he's not a

[23:59]Muslim because said you're not allowed to kill any civilian this is

[24:05]number one the second rule Allah used to teach them is mutilation

[24:09]is Haram you cannot mutilate any body of any soldier that you

[24:29]body of a dog you can't touch it if it's dead you

[26:00]that Syrian so this was maybe 5 years ago and then he

[26:14]not following they are following Abu sufyan mua ya they are their

[26:20]role models not they have absolutely no clue of the teachings of

[26:25]they are enemies of if was was alive today these individuals they

[29:04]IMI he was about to destroy mu do you know what mua

[29:15]and his troops they strike the Quran would be hit he uses

[29:17]the Quran to prevent them from fighting them because they know IM

[29:27]him and he knows IM Ali as a man of principles he's

[29:36]fighters and one of the you know the companions of muaah he

[29:42]was in the battlefield IM aliam he came to to kill him

[29:47]what did he do can he take out the sword and fight

[29:51]IM Ali no one could dare fight IM Ali Al do you

[29:52]know what he does to prevent IM Ali from killing him he

[29:57]takes off his clothes he exposes his private parts why so that

[30:00]IM Ali moves his face because he doesn't want to look once

[30:04]IM Ali moves his face he starts running away you see the

[30:07]enemies of how they were and how IM Ali would never betray

[30:15]Imam Ali would never use treason no matter what never and you

[32:14]to tell them before any battle you cannot use treachery it says

[32:17]Haram you cannot use treason you cannot use betrayal deceitful methods IM
