[4:18]Respected brothers and sisters, it is no secret that the state of

[4:29]the Muslim is not so well right now.

[4:34]The suffering and the genocide and the bombing and the killing of

[4:42]Muslims throughout the world is something that is very clear.

[4:48]It has been going on for close to two years now with

[4:53]Gaza and then Lebanon and Yemen and Syria and different places in

[5:05]the Muslim world and just recently last week in Iran as well.

[5:10]And as a Muslim, if the suffering of Muslims across the globe,

[5:19]in fact, if any suffering goes on, but specifically the suffering of

[5:27]Muslims across the globe does not bother me, then I need to

[5:32]question myself.

[5:31]And I need to question how am I truly a Muslim when

[5:38]I'm not bothered when I'm not moved by the suffering of other

[5:43]Muslims in the world.

[5:44]And the one who sleeps not caring not minding what is to

[6:03]other Muslims in the world then this person should not consider themselves

[6:08]a part of the Muslim um if I don't care what other

[6:11]people are going through then why should I consider myself to be

[6:15]a part of the Muslim um this is the of the holy

[6:17]prophetam and Islam teaches us that yes while I am an individual

[6:28]person I am a part of a I am a part of

[6:36]one larger um and that is the um of Islam, the um

[6:43]of and the holy prophet he gives the perfect analogy to make

[6:49]you think of how important this is for a Muslim for a

[6:54]and he says in a He says that they should be like

[7:10]one body.

[7:11]If one part of the body is in pain, the whole body

[7:14]suffers.

[7:14]If one part of the body is not well, then the whole

[7:21]body is not well.

[7:20]Imagine if your toe hurts.

[7:23]Could you sleep at night if you have to pain?

[7:25]No.

[7:26]If your If your finger hurts, if your liver, if your stomach,

[7:35]whatever it is, this is the example that gives about the um

[7:40]and why should we feel the pain and the suffering of others?

[7:44]Why should we care about the pain and the suffering of others?

[7:49]The answer is because we are a part of one.

[7:50]We are a part of one nation.

[7:56]And Allah subhana wa ta'ala says, You are one today.

[8:04]The way that the way the Muslims are carrying out themselves, the

[8:08]way we live, the way we think, do we think of ourselves

[8:13]as onem or do we think of ourselves as different groups?

[8:18]The Quran says it doesn't the Quran doesn't come and say you

[8:24]are multiple.

[8:26]The Quran says you are one um and there is one Lord

[8:30]to be worshiped.

[8:32]So who is a part of this um who is a part

[8:38]of this um today?

[8:40]There are some different groups of Muslims that come and say only

[8:43]I am a part of this um I am the Muslim.

[8:46]No, they are not Muslim.

[8:47]They are kafir.

[8:49]They are this.

[8:48]They are that.

[8:50]Who deserves to be a part of the um let's go and

[8:53]see what Allah says.

[8:54]Let's go and see what the Quran says.

[8:56]That is our most important book.

[8:58]That is our most important resource.

[9:01]The hadith of he says he who says the shahill.

[9:14]Whoever says the shahada, then this person is a part of the

[9:21]um and in a from he says the one who prays our

[9:31]prayers and faces our ate from oural food.

[9:40]This person is a Muslim.

[9:43]this this person should be treated as a Muslim.

[9:44]You're allowed to eat from their food.

[9:46]You're allowed to marry with them.

[9:48]You're allowed to live with them.

[9:51]You're allowed to interact with them.

[9:53]Anyone who says the shahada, the Imam doesn't come and say, "You

[9:58]have to be a follower of the B.

[9:59]You have to be following this school of thought, you have to

[10:02]be following here and there." No.

[10:04]The imams and the Quran teach us about the importance of um

[10:11]and this concept of um this is something that is heavily stressed

[10:17]upon in the Quran.

[10:18]And unfortunately this is one of the most neglected teachings in Islam.

[10:24]Something that is so stressed upon and encouraged and promoted and made

[10:30]as an obligation.

[10:30]Today you see the Muslims they don't treat it as an ummah.

[10:35]Today you see Muslims they don't treat each other as a part

[10:38]of one greater ummah.

[10:38]Allah subhana wa ta'ala says in several verses in the Quran talking

[10:44]about the importance of unity within Muslims.

[10:47]Put aside your differences.

[10:48]Put aside the small differences that you have.

[10:52]Even if they are ideological differences, even if you pray a little

[10:56]bit differently, even as long as you share the same common belief,

[10:58]you are a part of that um Allah says in the Quran,

[11:03][Music] hold on to the rope of God everyone and do not

[11:13]be divided.

[11:24]and remember the favor of God upon you that you were enemies

[11:31]and this is specifically talking about those who united the Arabs and

[11:37]others from the non-Arabs they were all fighting each other he came

[11:43]and He united everyone with the Quran, with the teachings of Islam,

[11:47]teaching everyone that you have one mission in life.

[11:51]What's my mission?

[11:52]My mission is to worship Allah subhana wa ta'ala.

[11:54]I have differences with this person and that person.

[11:58]Put these differences aside.

[11:59]We have a greater commonality.

[12:01]Our commonalities are much greater than our differences.

[12:07]In another verse, Allah says in the Quran, Obey God and obey

[12:17]the prophet and do not quarrel.

[12:18]Do not have disputes with each other.

[12:22]Why?

[12:23]Because these disputes they will lead you to become weaker and then

[12:27]you will be divided and then you will be weak and then

[12:31]you will be hit on your head and you can't do anything

[12:35]about it.

[12:34]And this is the state of the Muslim um today.

[12:37]In another verse, Allah says in the Quran, as long as you

[12:47]believe in God, you believe in the prophet, you are brothers.

[12:50]Treat each other like brothers.

[12:53]And my dear brothers and sisters, unity and uniting, it requires effort.

[13:00]Division and being someone who is divisive, that does not require much

[13:06]effort.

[13:07]Imagine trying to bring people together.

[13:09]That requires a lot of work.

[13:10]But for someone to come and divide people, that's something that's very

[13:14]easy.

[13:14]Anyone could come and divide people.

[13:16]Anyone could come and say, "I'm creating my own sect.

[13:20]I'm creating my own group.

[13:20]I want to be on my own." But to put people together,

[13:24]that is something that is very challenging.

[13:28]And that is one of the greatest legacies of su he was

[13:33]able to bring people together.

[13:35]One of the greatest achievements of Allah is that he brought people

[13:38]together.

[13:39]He brought the Arab and the non-Arab, everyone together, united under one

[13:45]banner ofahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahill andoolah.

[13:47]And similarly we see that this was something that the they struggled

[13:56]very hard and they disciplined their followers to keeping the ummah united.

[14:01]You know, it could have been very easy for Im Ali to

[14:06]come and say, "They took my huck away from me.

[14:07]They took my right away from me and to hell with the

[14:11]um I'm going to come and create my own religion.

[14:13]I'm going to come and create my own sect.

[14:17]I'm going to come and do my own thing." I want Aliham.

[21:01]My dear brothers and sisters, we are talking about the importance of

[21:08]Muslim unity and how being united is not an option that we

[21:17]have.

[21:17]It's an obligation.

[21:19]It's not a choice that I make whether I want to be

[21:24]united or not.

[21:26]It's an obligation, a duty upon every single Muslim to preserve as

[21:31]much as I can of the unity.

[21:35]Yes, sometimes unity is broken.

[21:38]Im Hussein.

[21:39]On the day of Ash, he stood and he gave a sermon

[21:43]and then he gave another sermon and then his companions gave sermons

[21:49]and they kept speaking and speaking and in and a part of

[21:52]the sermon one of the companions of Imam Hussein I believe Muslimbah

[21:56]he tells them he tells them as long as the fighting has

[22:02]not initiated between us then we have this we have this tie

[22:05]that holds us together.

[22:08]The moment the fighting begins then the unity will be broken.

[22:11]And today we need to see how much we can preserve of

[22:19]the Muslim ummah and the unity and try to be united and

[22:22]not be divided.

[22:24]And this is something very important today.

[22:27]Even within the sh community for example you might find some people

[22:31]they're very easily divided.

[22:33]Oh they go to this masjid they go to that masjid they're

[22:36]from this community.

[22:38]They're from that community.

[22:40]My dear brothers and sisters, this divisive behavior is unislamic.

[22:45]It's unethical and it breaks the foundations of our ummah.

[22:51]We have to be very careful to not be from those that

[22:53]promote division.

[22:55]There are some people as soon as there's a talk, there's some

[22:59]type of juicy gossip talk about the ummah, about a community, about

[23:03]a scholar, about a masjid, about something like that, right away they

[23:06]want to get in and they want to add fuel to the

[23:11]fire.

[23:11]My dear brothers and sisters, we have to be very careful not

[23:14]to do that with our community and within the broader Muslim community

[23:21]with Sunnis.

[23:21]There are some people very easily, oh they're kufur, they're not believers,

[23:25]they're not even Muslim.

[23:28]This is not right, my dear brothers and sisters.

[23:30]Whoever does is they themselves are not a part of the um

[23:38]and it's so sad.

[23:37]Today the Muslim the state of the Muslim community as a whole

[23:44]has reached a point where I was listening on YouTube some of

[23:47]these scholars people are calling them and they're asking them they're telling

[23:52]them right now there's a war between Iran who are and the

[24:00]Zionist who should we support and you see how sad the state

[24:05]of the ummah has become where Muslims they're coming and they're asking

[24:08]Who should we support?

[24:10]As if their eyes don't see.

[24:13]As if their ears don't hear.

[24:14]As if they have never read the Quran.

[24:17]As if they have never heard about.

[24:21]This is the state of the um today.

[24:25]Some people they're still on the mar on the margins.

[24:26]They don't know should I should I pray for the Iran or

[24:30]should I pray for Israel.

[24:30]This is this is the state of some people today.

[24:34]And this is the sad reality that we are living.

[24:38]And this is as a cause of division.

[24:40]This is a a cause a direct cause of the Muslim ummah

[24:43]and the unity within the Muslim ummah broken.

[24:46]Today Muslims are very proud of their high numbers.

[24:50]Yes, Islam is the fastest growing religion.

[24:53]Islam is a religion that we have.

[24:56]We come in billions.

[24:55]But what has this done for us?

[24:58]What have the billions done for us?

[25:00]Nothing.

[25:01]If we are divided, what's our number going to do?

[25:05]If we are united, yes, our number is going to make a

[25:07]difference.

[25:08]But if we are divided over silly, petty issues, then our unity

[25:15]is not going to do anything.

[25:17]So my dear brothers and sisters, we have to be agents of

[25:20]unity rather than division in within our community.

[25:24]In anything that you do, even within your family, if there's a

[25:27]dispute, try to be the one who unites within your community.

[25:31]If there's a dispute, try to be the one who brings people

[25:33]together.

[25:34]If and within two friends, if you have two friends, if you

[25:38]see them divided, try to bring them together.

[25:42]He says, "I heard from Allah." He says this in his he

[25:47]says, "I heard from Allah.

[25:52]Bringing two people together who are fighting, bringing them together, the reward

[25:57]is better than salah and fasting.

[25:59]If you bring two people together, this is the importance of unity.

[26:04]This is the importance of creating brotherhood.

[26:07]And this is something very important.

[26:10]While Islam and the Quran and the teachings of our religion advocate

[26:14]unity, you see there are agents of division.

[26:19]Shaitan wants you to be divided.

[26:20]There are people in our community, there are people in that you

[26:26]listen to on TV, they are they try to create division.

[26:29]This is why Allah subhana wa ta'ala says be very careful not

[26:34]to be divided.

[26:37]In one verse Allah says Allah says be very careful what you

[26:51]utter the words that you say.

[26:55]Maybe this word, you just said it very easily, not thinking about

[26:59]the consequences.

[27:01]But this word could create a huge rift in a community.

[27:03]This word could cause a divorce in a marriage.

[27:08]This word could cause fighting between two brothers.

[27:14]Tell my if you're a of God, you have to be very

[27:18]careful what you say.

[27:21]Why?

[27:19]Because shaitan comes and tries to cause division amongst you.

[27:25]Shayan comes and tries to create division.

[27:28]This is why even if I believe in something today someone comes

[27:34]and says I'm a follower of the yes I'm a follower of

[27:36]the this is my this is the right that I have to

[27:40]follow the but do I have the right to come and insult

[27:45]individuals that are going to come and create division within the Muslim

[27:51]ummah?

[27:52]No.

[27:49]All our scholars, our maj hold on to your belief, hold on

[28:01]to your values.

[28:00]You're a follower of Ali.

[28:04]You're a follower of the imams of the Alb.

[28:04]That's something that you hold on to.

[28:07]But you do not have the right to come and divide the

[28:11]um and this is something that is very important.

[28:16]That's why our imams they never said something in which is either

[28:21]bad mouthing or saying something bad that would create a rift within

[28:26]the um in fact the Quran the Quran says do not even

[28:31]curse do not even badmouth the idols of the because they're going

[28:34]to come and curse God when you come and you talk bad

[28:44]about their idols in a way that is going to insult them.

[28:45]They're going to come and talk about God.

[28:48]So you have to be very careful.

[28:49]So here my dear brothers and sisters, we have to be very

[28:54]careful what we say.

[28:54]We have to be very careful who we associate ourselves with, who

[28:59]we listen to.

[28:59]Right now the season of Muharam is coming up and alhamdulillah there's

[29:04]going to be hundreds and thousands of lectures.

[29:07]Who should I listen to?

[29:08]Should I listen to someone who is divisive?

[29:11]Should I listen to someone who's going to break the unity within

[29:14]the um because he wants to get likes or he wants to

[29:20]get views?

[29:19]No.

[29:19]We have to be very careful who we listen to, who we

[29:24]associate with.

[29:26]This is something that is very important and one of the most

[29:32]important causes of unity within the um is to follow the when

[29:36]we follow the B we're not following them because they're going to

[29:41]create a division.

[29:41]were following them because they are the only ones that could unite

[29:44]the um while the others they divided the they united even though

[29:51]the hak was with them their rights were taken away from them

[29:56]but they never did anything to cause a division.

[29:57]This is why fatam in her sermon she delivered a sermon when

[30:02]her h was taken away from her she says Allah she says

[30:17]Allah made our the obedience of the that is what gives that

[30:21]is what gives organization to the to the Muslim and im the

[30:28]im of the it is the from the that is our only

[30:35]safe haven from division and Today, today once again we state the

[30:43]obvious.

[30:41]Today you see the words of the B they are what unite

[30:46]and you see the followers of the B they are also the

[30:52]uniters in the um when you see a person who is a

[30:53]follower of Ali a follower of the B but willing to give

[30:59]up his life and willing to give up his property and willing

[31:04]to give up everything for the sake of someone living in Gaza

[31:07]or Palestine who does not even identify in the same faith as

[31:10]you because they are the followers of the al that's where you

[31:15]see who has the who has the leaders that unite and who

[31:17]has the leaders that divide today the how many years have the

[31:25]been accused of kufur this and that but you find it is

[31:27]the followers of the B that are putting their lives on the

[31:32]line for the sake of Palestinians who are Sunni Palestinians who are

[31:36]not Shia but they are putting their lives on the line why

[31:38]because this is what our taught us this is what and Hussein

[31:43]taught us.

[31:44]This is what the of Islam teaches us.

[31:46]Not to look at someone what your sect is, but you look

[31:48]at the if you see someone who's being oppressed, you have to

[31:52]stand with the oppressed.

[31:53]Teaches his sons.

[31:59]Be an enemy of the of the of the oppressor and be

[32:04]a supporter of the Mum.

[32:05]You don't need to come and ask what your sect is, who

[32:07]your imam is, and what you believe in.

[32:09]If you see anyone who's oppressed, you have to stand with them.

[32:12]And today, if the Muslim world truly follows this statement and truly

[32:18]stands with the oppressed against the oppressor, oppression will be wiped out.

[32:22]And that is our problem.

[32:26]Our problem is the lack of unity.

[32:28]And the solution to the problems of the Muslim um today is

[32:31]to be united.

[32:33]My dear brothers and sisters, we have to pray for unity and

[32:37]we have to strive for unity and we have to act.

[32:40]We have to do everything within our powers to create a greater

[32:47]united ummah because the enemies of Islam, the enemies of the Muslim

[32:51]ummah, they don't care whether you fold your hands in prayer or

[32:54]you have your hands down.

[32:56]They don't care which mer you follow.

[32:58]They don't care who your im is.

[33:00]They just don't want to see you united.

[33:03]And you need to be as cautious and as careful as possible

[33:05]to remain united to not cause any divisions to come between you

[33:13]and your community.

[33:14]My dear brothers and sisters, it's been over a week now that

[33:18]this unjust war of Israel has been taking place and Israel bombed

[33:27]a sovereign nation initiated a war and then they come and they

[33:31]say we're defending ourselves.

[33:34]What kind of self-defense is this?

[33:36]You come and you bomb.

[33:36]You come and you kill.

[33:39]You bomb hospitals.

[33:39]You kill journalists.

[33:39]You threaten to kill heads of state and you do kill commanders

[33:45]initiating a war and then you come and you cry.

[33:49]We're defending ourselves.

[33:51]This is this is Israel.

[33:52]They they bomb, they attack, they instigate and then they come and

[33:56]they cry that we are being attacked and we are defending ourselves.

[33:59]The the most dangerous entity in the Middle East is Israel today

[34:06]because every single neighboring country has been bombed and attacked by Israel.

[34:09]while the other countries they're not bombing each other while the others

[34:14]are not doing anything.

[34:15]Yes, they have the right to live.

[34:17]They have the right just like everyone else has the right.

[34:21]But you see, Israel has the double standards.

[34:23]And today, they're trying to suck in the United States in this

[34:30]war, which will be worse than the war of Afghanistan and the

[34:33]war of Iraq.

[34:34]And Americans are starting to wake up.

[34:36]I don't know if they're going to allow this to happen or

[34:39]not, but whatever is going to happen, if it go if it

[34:44]takes a worse step, it's going to be worse for America than

[34:47]Afghanistan and Iraq and all the other interventions that they have.

[34:52]The United States, Americans need to wake up and they need to

[34:57]call their politicians.

[34:57]They need to let let the president know.

[34:59]They need to let their senators know that this is something that

[35:03]Americans did not want.

[35:05]And Americans don't want Israel has a problem.

[35:06]They could sort out their own problems.

[35:09]Why should America be sucked into this?

[35:12]American taxpayers, they want their money to go towards causes in the

[35:15]United States, why should it go towards towards supporting and and carrying

[35:24]out the crimes of Israel.

[35:24]And if Trump, who ran on America first policy, if he wants

[35:28]to be a supporter of Israel, then he should not come and

[35:32]claim that this is a America first policy.

[35:34]This is a Israel first policy.

[35:36]We ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to bring an end to this

[35:44]suffering and injustice that is going on.

[35:46]We ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to have mercy on our shada

[35:49]on our martyrs.

[35:51]And we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to bring victory to the

[35:58]m.

[35:59]And Allah has promised victory to the Allah subhana wa ta'ala has

[36:03]promised victory.

[36:04]We need to be patient.

[36:06]Victory will eventually come to the inshallah.

[36:42]Allah Allah for the souls of all of the from this.

[37:04]We ask you all to recite before it a loud Brothers, if

[37:36]you could please make space and move up.
