[1:53]lovely [Music] um Muhammad their brothers and sisters thank you all for

[2:59]attending today we're going to be having an iftar program the schedule

[3:04]is going to be as follows first we're going to have inshallah

[3:10]a lecture by Sher khani followed by solat and then iftar and

[3:13]then afterwards it's going to do Dua which is followed by a

[3:19]discussion Circle um inshallah we can benefit from the chef tonight today

[3:23]we're honored to have with us as I mentioned chef khani from

[3:28]Denmark he has been a student of the Islamic Seminary for over

[3:32]10 years and still is studying at the emiral meaning hausa and

[3:38]com he is the local Imam at Imam Imam Ali mosque in

[3:41]Copenhagen please welcome him with the loud salawat foreign [Music] foreign today's

[6:02]topic is a bit sensitive so if it's possible our mindset our

[6:09]mental mindset basically and mental attitude when it comes to this topic

[6:14]should be that nobody exists in this world except for myself so

[6:19]every Hadith that we hear every verse from the Holy Quran that

[6:25]we hear if you think of different situations where you think that

[6:29]maybe there was this person who showed this Behavior or that behavior

[6:32]think about yourself first and foremost focus on yourself don't focus on

[6:37]anybody else because it is a sensitive and topic and the examples

[6:41]that are being given sometimes we think of examples from our own

[6:45]lives so if you want to think of an example or a

[6:48]situation think of the situation where views where you showed that behavior

[6:51]yourself and not somebody else like don't focus on other people only

[6:55]focus on ourselves and that's what reminders of myself before anybody else

[6:58]because respective brothers and sisters tonight's topic is going to be a

[7:04]topic about a spiritual disease it's a spiritual disease that is so

[7:09]bad and so severe that it works like an acid bath you

[7:11]know what an acid bath does it dissolves all the virtues that

[7:16]you have it prevents all the virtues from flourishing and prevents you

[7:21]from realizing your own potential this spiritual disease and it's such a

[7:25]bad spiritual disease and so destructive that he mentions it as being

[7:32]the worst spiritual disease in the Holy Quran as well so why

[7:35]is it that we should focus on on negative things like spiritual

[7:38]diseases why can't we focus on like how to see closeness to

[7:44]Allah gave us the answer he said in fact because this spiritual

[7:49]disease prevents all the potential to flourish in fact that if you

[7:52]deal with that disease the virtues in itself will show itself why

[7:55]because human beings that were created in such way that we have

[8:00]the potential and we can realize that potential if we just remove

[8:03]the barriers that exist in order to grow or self-development and what

[8:11]is that that's why in a narration he says [Music] that we

[8:19]refrain from sins is more important higher priority than doing what that

[8:29]seeking Rewards because if you understand that spiritual diseases works as a

[8:33]barrier and an acid birth for all the virtues in life then

[8:35]you understand you will take care of those diseases first and focus

[8:40]on those diseases first then afterwards you will be what you will

[8:43]seek towards the rewards of Allah and the blessings of Allah and

[8:48]why is that because the prophets they weren't sent to add something

[8:53]to the existence of human Allah he created Allah he created us

[8:58]with everything we have the potential the prophets were there to show

[9:01]us the path so we can realize this potential that he created

[9:03]us with that Allah he created us with we just need to

[9:09]deal with these spiritual diseases so what is this spiritual disease brothers

[9:13]and sisters and where does it stem from I'll tell you where

[9:17]it originates from and then I'll mention the disease itself human beings

[9:19]we seek desire we have a desire sorry and we seek something

[9:23]called greatness human beings we seek something which is called greatness and

[9:30]depending on how old we are we seek it on different levels

[9:35]so human being for example likes to be acknowledged likes to be

[9:38]loved that's something which is general for all human beings and we

[9:42]like to utilize technology and and tools in order to be superior

[9:47]to our own surroundings and that all stems from this fact that

[9:52]we have a desire for greatness that all human beings have a

[9:55]desire for greatness so that desire for greatness is not a bad

[9:58]thing in itself why because Allah is the greatest it is the

[10:02]desire for greatness that leads us towards what Allah so the desire

[10:06]in itself is a very positive thing just like your thirst it's

[10:09]not a bad thing about how you quench it makes a difference

[10:13]you can quench your thirst with poison but that doesn't mean that

[10:17]the need itself is a bad thing right but still you hurt

[10:20]yourself if you try to quench your thirst with poison the same

[10:23]applies to what this desires were the desire for greatness and the

[10:28]need for greatness is not a bad thing in fact that's exactly

[10:31]what leads us to Allah the desire for greatness is what leads

[10:35]us towards individuals that we know their means to obtain that greatness

[10:40]like prophets why is it that we love because our love for

[10:47]Ali is love for greatness we love the greatness or else there's

[10:53]a lot of people around the world that is called Ali it's

[10:56]not the name in itself it's the personality so when we understand

[11:03]that we have this desire so what is the spiritual disease stem

[11:08]from because sometimes when we want to satisfy this desire brothers and

[11:14]sisters we do something wrong and because we satisfy this need in

[11:17]its wrong way it turns out to be a spiritual disease it's

[11:19]going to end up in a spiritual disease how sometimes in our

[11:28]Pursuit for desire for greatness you know what we do sometimes we

[11:34]hasten a bit we're a bit hurry we have a like we're

[11:35]Hasting ourselves when it comes to work seeking desire seeking just desire

[11:39]seeking disgraveness sometimes we choose the wrong path and we point out

[11:46]certain things to be something which should be means for greatness but

[11:50]they aren't and no sometimes we just wrongfully assume that we are

[11:55]obtain obtain greatness that we are great individuals and when we do

[11:59]that it leads to this spiritual disease which is this most destructive

[12:02]one and works as an asset path for all the virtues that

[12:06]a human being they have in their heart and what is that

[12:08]that's the spiritual disease that we're in Arabic called takapur and in

[12:14]English called arrogance arrogance so now when you understand where it originates

[12:20]from because sometimes you know what we do we have a superficial

[12:22]understanding of arrogance and that's a very bad thing if you ask

[12:27]a person what is arrogance that you feel better better than other

[12:29]individuals that's it he leaves it there what are the root causes

[12:33]for this arrogance if you want to solve the issue if you

[12:37]want to solve the issue you should know the root cause of

[12:41]this issue or this spiritual disease of course you should and that

[12:46]goes back to what our desire for greatness and how we try

[12:51]to satisfy our desire for greatness we do it in the wrong

[12:54]way instead of obtaining greatness to sujood we think that a car

[13:01]is a mean of greatness we think that cause a mean of

[13:06]witness instead of being humble we think that a title can lead

[13:10]us to Greatness for example an education a degree suddenly we point

[13:15]out these things to be means of greatness and then we understand

[13:18]no in fact that leads to arrogance why because you try to

[13:23]satisfy a need in this wrong way and that led to some

[13:24]spiritual diseases just like if you try to quench your thirst with

[13:28]something which is poisonous you're gonna hurt yourself you're going to hurt

[13:33]yourself why because they were not created as mean for you to

[13:35]quench your thirst the same implies when it's whenever they need and

[13:37]desire for greatness if you try to quench The Thirst for greatness

[13:43]in a wrong matter in a wrong way not in the right

[13:47]matter you know what happens you end up with spiritual diseases and

[13:50]that that's the worst type of disease perspective brothers and sisters that's

[13:55]the disease that is called arrogance and if we just get rid

[13:57]of that we solve a lot of issues hence [Music] just the

[14:06]fact that you get rid of takapur and arrogance that itself will

[14:10]lead you toward Karama you'll have dignity and you'll be a dignified

[14:19]person if you get rid of arrogance why it's important to get

[14:25]rid of these diseases because they work as a barrier for all

[14:27]the virtues and for us to realize our own potential Allah he

[14:31]created us with a potential it's not like we should obtain it

[14:36]just get rid of the bad stuff and they will flourish themselves

[14:38]if you try to plant a seed for example if you want

[14:41]to plant a flower if you want to plant a flower don't

[14:45]put a bucket above it that's it leave it alone give it

[14:48]some water in the sunlight it will grow itself you don't have

[14:50]to do anything no magic is needed the same applies to virtuous

[14:55]respective other than sisters just deal with these diseases and the rest

[14:59]will solve it [Music] or you because it's among the worst the

[15:12]worst and one of the biggest sins so respective brothers and sisters

[15:18]according to the prophet the holy month of Ramadan is to what

[15:22]get rid of sins that was the most the best action that

[15:24]you can perform is to abstain from sins in the holy month

[15:31]of Ramadan he says that arrogance is one of the biggest types

[15:36]and of sins then we understand that what shall our purpose of

[15:40]Ramadan be get rid of what arrogance we should be focused on

[15:46]this spiritual disease or else we can't benefit from this holy month

[15:53]so does it apply to everyone yes nobody is Exempted from this

[15:57]spiritual disease and that's another Point as well you could be rich

[16:00]or you could be poor doesn't sometimes we have this perception that

[16:04]oh alhamdulillah I'm not rich so I'm not arrogant or in fact

[16:08]you can be poor and because of I don't know a shoelace

[16:09]or a mobile phone you think that you're better of another person

[16:12]that's it that's how simple it is and we see that in

[16:16]the history of Islam as well once there was a woman the

[16:20]prophet sallallahu alaihi he was writing with his companions they came to

[16:24]Medina this woman she wouldn't move from the street and they had

[16:28]a caravan coming so this woman she was standing in their way

[16:31]the prophet well-mannered of course as the prophet he were he went

[16:37]over to this woman and he asked her politely he asked her

[16:39]can you move a bit because the Caravan is coming through she

[16:42]said no and she was disrespectful to the prophet as well some

[16:44]of the companions they were like we're going to move her by

[16:48]force the prophet said leave her leave her why she's not gonna

[16:52]be affected by it you know why she has killed it in

[16:55]her heart and who was this woman the poorest woman of Medina

[16:59]who has slaver herself she had nothing she owned nothing so you

[17:03]can be the most poor person but still be an arrogant person

[17:07]don't think it's only rich people that are arrogant at the same

[17:09]time you could be ignorant and you could be arrogant at the

[17:13]same time and being educated doesn't work leave you Exempted from being

[17:17]arrogant either nobody is Exempted respective brothers and sisters regardless of your

[17:23]man or woman or child or grown-up nobody black or white ethnicity

[17:28]it doesn't discriminate this spiritual disease affects everyone everyone and everybody is

[17:33]a danger zone the first moment you think that you Exempted for

[17:36]being an arrogant person that's the first step towards arrogance as well

[17:41]the first moment where you think that you're Exempted from being an

[17:47]arrogant person or you're not in the danger zone to become arrogant

[17:49]that's where you actually are taking steps towards arrogance be careful so

[17:53]nobody should see themselves as example so how does arrogance affect us

[17:58]how does arrogance affect us so there's different ways that arrogance affect

[18:03]us the first thing that arrogance does respective brothers and sisters that

[18:08]is that it corrupts the intellect of a human being the same

[18:14]tool that we should utilize in order to do what to administrate

[18:19]all the information to look at the outcome of our actions to

[18:23]evaluate ourselves how we deal with information how we deal with other

[18:27]individuals if we want to pursue the truth as well and understand

[18:30]the truth we do that with our what our intellect so when

[18:35]the act with the arrogance corrupts that you know what happens you

[18:39]know what happens then the rest of the body will be corrupted

[18:43]as well the heart and the soul will be corrupt corrupted as

[18:45]well in other words you're like a person who can't pursue the

[18:49]truth and you can't understand the information or work with the information

[18:52]that you actually get you know what it's like it's like an

[18:55]engine or a core you put you pour fuel in that car

[18:58]but the engine doesn't work so how does the fuel benefit you

[19:01]can't benefit you if the engine doesn't work of a call you

[19:06]can put as much as fuel as you want to enter that

[19:06]call it's not going to work how it's going to benefit the

[19:10]car you're going to move there's been no movement the same applies

[19:13]to a person who's arrogant all the information that he gets is

[19:18]not going to benefit why his accolades corrupted which is a narration

[19:23]as well they said um look what he says foreign they'll be

[20:03]equal imagine your own intellect your intellect that is so important to

[20:05]understand and then you're not going to benefit you can't benefit from

[20:10]others either how are you going to benefit from others if you're

[20:12]an arrogant person how exactly arrogance is like a club that you

[20:18]put above your head that prevents any light and blocks out all

[20:22]light of the perspective of other individuals why we have a narration

[20:28]that says a person who's most who practices arrogance or he isn't

[20:35]what's a capital person he can't learn from other people how it's

[20:38]important to learn from other people when you think that he knows

[20:40]better than them oh oh it's impossible so that's the first thing

[20:48]respective brothers and sisters and we see that sometimes unfortunately from individuals

[20:53]that supposed to be educated but we see there's a lack of

[20:56]consistency in the way they live you know why that goes back

[21:00]to arrogance as well look at the disbelievers in the time of

[21:03]the Prophet salallahu alaihi what is it that Allah tells us that

[21:09]they used as an argument against the prophet you're human beings just

[21:18]like us that's it why should we listen to a human being

[21:22]when we are human beings as well what makes you different from

[21:27]us they were arrogant you know what they said afterwards we followed

[21:34]that which was discovered by our forefathers question your forefathers weren't the

[21:40]human beings look at the lack of consistency here so the prophet

[21:43]they said we're not going to follow you because you're a human

[21:45]being and then afterwards they say that we follow our forefathers and

[21:50]what they discovered they were human beings as well why are you

[21:54]following them then sometimes we see individuals they have a lack of

[21:57]consensus team when it comes to their lifestyle and you know why

[22:02]because of what because of arrogance as well you know Abu jahil

[22:04]his name what it was before the prophet called him abujal means

[22:08]the father of ignorance abujal his name was Abu Hakim you know

[22:12]that the father wisdom why because he will consider to be very

[22:18]intelligent person in the society back then everybody understood him as being

[22:22]very intelligent and a well-read person in other words he would be

[22:26]well educated according to the standards of of today's society you'll be

[22:30]well educated person hence his name was Abu haqab they asked him

[22:34]why are you not following the prophet is it because he's a

[22:38]liar he said no I called him Muhammad al-ameen I know he's

[22:41]the trustworthy person but should I follow a person like from who's

[22:45]not even from from this tribe or like closely related to me

[22:50]and who's not amongst our forefathers should I follow this person look

[22:55]he was arrogant hence the prophet he called him he was the

[22:58]father of ignorance it wasn't that he didn't have any knowledge or

[23:04]any information but he was ignorant because of what his ticket book

[23:08]so that's the first thing it does corrupts our intellect we won't

[23:15]be able to use this intellect any more then unfortunately so we

[23:18]should take care of our the spiritual disease and purify your heart

[23:25]from it how inshallah we're going to explain that the second thing

[23:28]that we would do respective others and sisters which is worse than

[23:33]the first one is that it did we distance ourselves from Allah

[23:38]listen to this Hadith from Imam what he explains about Hadith or

[23:48]a revelation that was revealed for prophet he says um the same

[23:55]way that the people that are closest to Allah are the people

[24:00]that are humble okay the same way the people that are furthest

[24:06]away from Allah are the people that are arrogant we distance ourselves

[24:13]from Allah when we become and respect their brothers and sisters we

[24:17]should be careful when it comes to arrogance especially religious arrogance you

[24:21]know why because it's dangerous sometimes it's so dangerous that you can

[24:25]worship Allah for 6 000 years and you won't discover that your

[24:28]heart is filled with hurricanes and then when you get a command

[24:32]from Allah you're going to be like I'm not going to go

[24:36]to sujood for Adam just like shaytan just like shape one for

[24:39]six thousand years he worshiped Allah he didn't notice that his heart

[24:43]was filled with what arrogance that's called religious arrogance don't think that

[24:49]shaytan when he wants to make you arrogant he comes to you

[24:52]and tell you look you have a nice call you have a

[24:53]nice this you have a nice Dad therefore you should feel that

[24:56]you are better than another person he's sneaky he knows how to

[25:01]deal with people right he's seen how many thousands of thousands of

[25:05]prophets he knows how to speak with religious people it's not stupid

[25:07]so when he comes to he's going to tell you look tonight

[25:12]you prayed sadata Lake let me tell you something there's a person

[25:14]in the room he didn't do that there's a person in the

[25:19]room he didn't praise like you do in this month of Ramadan

[25:23]you recited the whole Quran Masha Allah yeah how beautiful isn't that

[25:27]but there's people in this room that didn't do that you know

[25:31]slowly he starts to work on your arrogance then you see that

[25:34]religious arrogant you think that you're better than other individuals why because

[25:39]some of their sins are apparent and your sins are hidden they

[25:42]were committed like behind the veil and they are obvious about their

[25:48]sins then you think that you're better than them in fact he

[25:52]says is the one who looks at other individual and who can

[25:57]swear by Allah that he doesn't feel better than that person that's

[26:00]that's a Pious person don't be careful be careful shaytan he has

[26:09]his ways so the second thing that it does we distance ourselves

[26:14]from Allah so now today's topic this is the part where it's

[26:19]actually related to our discussion today all of it was just one

[26:22]big introduction to this part of this lecture and what is that

[26:27]how does it affect our relationship to other people other people more

[26:32]specifically our family members and members of our community how does arrogance

[26:38]affect our relationship to our family members and members of our community

[26:43]that's a question respect the brothers and sisters an arrogant person an

[26:47]arrogant person the first thing that he would experience you know what

[26:51]it is but lack of empathy a lack of empathy for others

[26:56]he won't be compassionate with other people and he won't understand other

[27:00]individuals as well now tell me this or answer this question a

[27:05]person who has no empathy for there's no compassion for others and

[27:08]has a lack of understanding of what they are saying how is

[27:12]that person going to be going to be able to establish or

[27:16]have a healthy relationship to other individuals how it is impossible and

[27:20]you know what happens that's even more dangerous instead of becoming creative

[27:26]in the ways that we can communicate collaborate and cooperate with family

[27:32]members and members of our community a human being that is being

[27:36]arrogant he becomes creative in ways to be evil and that's the

[27:41]work that's the worst part of it and we see that throughout

[27:43]history of humankind that everywhere you saw that some sort of an

[27:49]arrogance emerged amongst human beings on this Society they became creative in

[27:54]ways to be evil have you been to one of these museums

[27:58]where they showed the different tools or different methods of torture then

[28:02]you understand how creative human beings they can be when it comes

[28:08]to being evil not the worst predator on Earth could come up

[28:12]with such a machine to torture other animals why because if they

[28:17]attack other animals it's because they even feel threatenable it's because of

[28:20]their own Survival we don't have a third cause it's either because

[28:24]they're feeling like they're being threatened or it's because of survival they

[28:29]want to live therefore they eat other animals but human beings know

[28:32]they can do it because of greed they can do because of

[28:36]arrogance they could kill other people because in other words we become

[28:38]100 times worse than the worst predator on Earth and that's exactly

[28:43]what happens when we become an arrogant individual why would because we

[28:47]become creative in ways to be evil towards other people you know

[28:52]what we do instead of building a community we become creative and

[28:57]how we can destruct that Community destroy that community and we do

[29:02]it subconsciously why because this spiritual disease is hidden this spiritual disease

[29:07]that is called arrogance is so well hidden that we use different

[29:12]concepts and words to justify it as well and that's the dangerous

[29:15]part by it that's that's the dangerous part so how can we

[29:20]solve that and what's the solution to that I'll mention two different

[29:27]solutions the first one is about our perception about this concept and

[29:30]how to achieve greatness the second is a practical solution something that

[29:33]we can practice from tomorrow but you should understand it doesn't only

[29:37]affect our communities but also our family life as well instead of

[29:42]looking for Flaws all the time because we're arrogant and we do

[29:45]that we see that sometimes unfortunately I sit in an office where

[29:50]a lot of people they come for with their marriage problems and

[29:52]so on and whatnot and some of the people that if not

[29:56]99 of everyone that had a divorce that comes to me and

[30:03]get a divorce is through the life or their marriage one of

[30:06]them or both of them showed some sort of an arrogance and

[30:10]they could actually solve that issue and their problem in that marriage

[30:13]instead of being divorced if they were just like if they were

[30:16]humble in that situation if one of them was ready not to

[30:20]be an arrogant person they would have solved their issue there wouldn't

[30:23]be any issue they could actually continue their marriage but things escalated

[30:28]after that it became a competition on who can be who which

[30:31]one of them that could be the most arrogant person and they

[30:35]just ended up in a divorce that's why I see Allah look

[30:39]at the beautiful part of his life how humble of an individual

[30:44]he was if anybody had the right to be an arrogant person

[30:54]it would be a person like Allah because he knew that he

[30:59]was a great person his whole the whole society was telling him

[31:01]that he was a great person everybody knew that he was a

[31:05]great person his family told him that he was a great person

[31:07]so if anybody had them right nobody has the right to be

[31:12]arrogant but if anybody did have the right to be an arrogant

[31:13]person it would be Unlimited look what he tells his wife look

[31:19]what he tells his wife his wife who hasn't studied she's taking

[31:22]care of the family and the household from the beginning she wasn't

[31:25]educated or anything but he said if I could change the reward

[31:28]of tafsir al-misan for just one day where you've been the backbone

[31:33]of this family and you taking care of this household I would

[31:36]do it without hesitating and if you accept the I'll make sure

[31:42]I change that reward because I know that just the fact that

[31:45]you've been the backbone of this family just for one day not

[31:47]your whole life for one day you'll receive more reward than I

[31:54]will receive from tafsira Mizan all Muslims all Muslims are in debt

[32:02]to Allah and he said one day of my wife being the

[32:07]backbone of this family taking care of the household I'm 100 sure

[32:11]I'm certain that there's more reward in her action this is a

[32:18]humble person respective brothers and sisters he understands that the whole world

[32:21]tells him that he's a great person yet he doesn't see his

[32:25]greatness from himself he understand it it's from Allah that's true greatness

[32:29]so what's the first solution change our perception on how we seek

[32:33]greatness understand that greatness is only achieved by the means that Allah

[32:37]has made the effective you cannot achieve greatness through means which Allah

[32:45]hasn't made effective that's like trying to quench your thirst by eating

[32:48]sun it's not gonna happen you're probably going to end up hurting

[32:51]yourself so if we try to seek greatness to a car a

[32:57]house a title of Education a degree while Allah told us to

[33:04]be humble if we think that being aggressive when Allah wants us

[33:08]to forgive [Music] is going to give us some sort of a

[33:11]greatness or that we're going to feel great not in fact it's

[33:16]the opposite when it's time to be patient and you're being aggressive

[33:19]it's going to end up in arrogance if you want greatness you

[33:25]should do it through the means which Allah he made what effective

[33:29]that's the first thing change your perception about greatness and how to

[33:32]achieve greatness in fact Allah says not mistaking who are the people

[33:40]that will achieve greatness that's the humble people we think it's the

[33:43]opposite we think a title will make us great work being a

[33:47]ruler like these things that they're being promoted today in the society

[33:50]what we consider to be success from a worthy perspective we think

[33:55]that will cause that will cause some greatness where that will give

[33:58]us Allah tells us exact exact opposite if you watch it for

[34:03]yourself and your own internet how would you come up with a

[34:05]solution like that how would you understand that being humble in this

[34:08]situation you will be great person or you'll achieve greatness through that

[34:13]you wouldn't that's why it's a blessing when Allah have given us

[34:18]these means that we understand them as the only means to achieve

[34:21]greatness and not try to achieve greatness on with other methods and

[34:25]means that Allah hasn't made effective that's the first thing a practical

[34:29]solution respective brothers and sisters if you want your spouse or members

[34:36]of your community to be humble then you should be the first

[34:40]one to accept the truth yourself if you commit mistake admit it

[34:45]straight away don't wait if somebody in the community says something does

[34:51]something and you look at it like maybe he's right admit it

[34:54]acknowledge it straight away don't wait listen to what I mean he

[35:00]says I look for humility but I didn't find an except in

[35:08]what accepting the truth it's only when we accept the truth that

[35:12]we become humble as individuals so if we want to our heart

[35:17]the members of our household to be humble individuals we should understand

[35:20]that it starts with ourselves when they told us something when we

[35:24]committed a mistake be the first one to admit it as well

[35:27]be an example in Practical terms not just spill out like yeah

[35:31]you should be humble you should do this you should listen to

[35:33]me you'll be the first one to accept the troops yourself if

[35:38]a member of the community has you said something about a member

[35:45]some problems they cause themselves be the first one to say it

[35:50]was my mistake why because I caused this problem myself I did

[35:53]this I did that first one you know what the beautiful part

[35:58]about it is that virtues is it's something that spreads faster than

[36:03]spiritual diseases as well humility or being a humble person itself it

[36:09]inspires other people to be humble as well why instead of becoming

[36:15]a competition or who can be the most arrogant against it towards

[36:17]each other it becomes so competitional who could be the most humble

[36:20]who can sacrifice the most and that's exactly what we are looking

[36:25]for and that's exactly what we should try to achieve inshallah so

[36:28]respective brothers and sisters in this holy month of Ramadan the worst

[36:33]spiritual disease that we should focus on and get rid of that's

[36:36]the spiritual disease that in Arabic is called takapoor and in English

[36:42]it's called arrogance how change our perception on how to achieve greatness

[36:46]second practical step accept the truth and acknowledge your mistakes as soon

[36:53]as you know that that's the truth then accept it don't postpone

[36:56]it don't delay it don't be like right now my nephe is

[36:59]not allowing me to say I'm sorry so I'm next week inshallah

[37:03]I'm going to buy a gift for her no that's not going

[37:06]to help that's not going to help that's just going to make

[37:09]things worse to get rid of this disease in short law so

[37:14]we can solve the issues and the problems and make sure that

[37:19]we realize the potential we realize the own potential that Allah he

[37:23]created us with so the virtues that can grow and we can

[37:25]build a healthy family and a healthy community [Music] oh foreign thank
