[0:09]utmost perfection and may the peace and blessings of the Almighty God

[0:14]be upon his pure and beloved messenger the peak of his creation

[0:19]the symbol of humanity the holy prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa ala

[0:25]allah humma salli ala muhammad wa ala muhammad and his immaculate progeny

[0:30]of the idol bait peace be upon them especially the leader of

[0:35]our time the awaited savior al imam al-mahdi arjun allahu ta'ala firaga

[0:44]may Allah haste in his reappearance and make us all amongst sincere

[0:49]and dedicated servants my dear brothers and sisters assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh this

[0:57]evening is a very unique evening after 2-3 months of experiencing a

[1:05]lockdown it's the first time at the NYC that we have the

[1:09]opportunity to meet you it's been a difficult time my dear brothers

[1:18]and sisters very challenging especially the month of Ramadan it was a

[1:23]very unique month this year but we are thankful to allah subhanahu

[1:27]wa ta'ala hamdulillah we are safe and sound many of you and

[1:34]your families have been strong throughout the struggle so we are infinitely

[1:40]grateful to the Almighty God and we ask Allah subhana WA Ta'ala

[1:44]to lift this affliction so it's our first official gathering after two

[1:50]and/or three months it's very refreshing to see you and to be

[1:54]amongst you may Allah subhana WA Ta'ala protect you and keep all

[1:59]of you safe in our discussion this evening we continue our examination

[2:09]of this journey that we will all take the journey into the

[2:17]Hereafter previously last week we examined the stage of the grave according

[2:24]to the Holy Quran and the hadith of the elevat-- peace be

[2:27]upon them what do we expect to happen in the grave what

[2:33]are the stages of the grave in our discussion this evening we

[2:38]will examine what comes after the grave and this is the butter

[2:45]sock the buzzer starts with the grave and carries after this stage

[14:03]that's how vast the garden will be allah subhanaw taala you just

[14:10]see your grave expanding it turns into a garden and you're there

[14:17]in Wadi Salaam so the Imam Mahdi's Salaam tells us that the

[14:21]grave will expand then the Imam Hani Salaam says the row will

[14:25]enter the grave you know what the law is sometimes you feel

[14:33]suffocated I know some people when they put on their masks they

[14:37]feel a little bit suffocated and you just want to remove it

[14:41]and get some fresh air or sometimes if you are in a

[14:47]sauna or you're taking a hot shower there's all this water vapor

[14:51]around you could be suffocating right when you're about to suffocate like

[14:57]that you step outside and you inhale and breathe this fresh cold

[15:02]air can you imagine how it feels in arabic this is called

[15:09]the low it's similar to the word delirious means breeze the wind

[15:15]is called Rehan Arabic Rao is a specific type of breeze it's

[15:23]a breeze that refreshes you that gives life to your soul so

[15:28]the believer experiences that as the Imam says and then once they

[15:32]are taken to Adi Salaam the imam mahdi salam says the believer

[15:36]is given the honor to meet the prophet muhammad sallallahoalyhiwasallam ann's of

[16:34]will mingle with them whether to hug that's my home you'll speak

[16:40]to them imagine how many thousands of questions do you have if

[16:43]you were to meet the Prophet SAW Allah Allah one you can

[16:46]ask him anything that you want the Imams of elevate you can

[16:51]speak to them and even in the Berzerk Allah gives you the

[16:54]opportunity to increase your knowledge you can ask them about anything they

[16:58]will increase your knowledge they will share with you new dimensions that

[19:56]go in vain no in addition to the reward that allah subhana

[20:01]wa ta'ala will give you Allah will grant you the honor to

[20:04]come back to this life so you have the privilege and the

[20:10]honor of being with the amount of your time so this is

[20:14]the fourth dimension that we see in the buzzer and this continues

[20:19]until the day of judgement next week next Friday insha'Allah we will

[20:25]examine the day of judgement how it will start and the trumpet

[20:28]that will be blown into so the buzzer is a fascinating experience

[20:33]my dear brothers and sisters Allah subhana WA Ta'ala is merciful with

[20:37]us this life is very limited the better self is more unlimited

[20:42]Allah has been good to you here he's given you health he's

[20:45]given you wealth he's given you hundreds of different types of blessings

[20:49]and the berserk this is all multiplied and by the way the

[20:58]sins that we commit in this life and we don't repent from

[21:01]those sins in the byrsa these sins might come back to haunt

[21:09]us might come back to haunt us my dear brothers and sisters

[22:08]paradise a beautiful garden but there's one problem every day at one

[22:14]hour of that day at a particular time of that day I

[22:32]son asked him father why does that happen what did you do

[22:37]in the world he said the reason is I used to sometimes

[22:43]insult your mother I'd call her names I should not have done

[22:46]so I knew she was getting hurt but you know I didn't

[22:50]think it was a big deal I didn't really care she kept

[22:52]telling me stop this hurts me have you seen some friends you

[22:57]know you keep calling them names and they tell you look ok

[23:00]maybe one time two times you guys you know made a joke

[23:04]out of it but enough this is now hurting me this is

[23:06]now abuse and this turns into a type of bullying so I

[23:12]would call her sometimes a particular name and I never really asked

[23:17]for her forgiveness I never really repented from that and this and

[23:23]the buzzer is giving me a hard time he wakes up he

[23:26]goes to his mother he told her mother is it true that

[23:32]father sometimes would call you this name she was shocked she told

[23:35]him how did you know who told you he would not call

[23:40]me this name in front of you my children see he was

[24:07]our father I know he was wrong he should not have done

[24:09]that but he's suffering now do you really want him to suffer

[24:14]he was able to soften her heart and she forgave him a

[24:17]week later he saw his father again in a dream and this

[24:23]time his father told him my dear son I'm in that same

[24:25]beautiful garden but this time the scorpion does not sting me anymore

[24:32]your mother has forgiven me and I'd like to thank you for

[24:35]that if you know my dear brothers and sisters a family member

[24:38]a friend who was hurt by someone who passed away ask them

[24:43]convince them to forgive that person if you do so Allah will

[24:48]reward you you'll save a person from suffering in the bursa yes

[24:51]you could say yeah say it but that person deserved it he

[24:56]wronged this person he shouldn't have of course no doubt about that

[24:58]but show forgiveness the more you forgive others the more allah subhanaw

[25:03]taala forgives you especially those who have passed away if they violated

[25:11]you try to forgive them bring yourself to forgive them now my

[25:15]dear brothers and sisters this leads us to the last part of

[25:19]our discussion as we talk about the bursa before the day of

[25:25]judgment those who have passed away they've died the deceased are in

[25:31]desperate need for your good deeds we usually don't think about them

[25:37]we think about those who are living someone needs my help I'm

[25:46]ready I will help them but sometimes if there are people who

[25:49]have passed away from my relatives from my friends I forget them

[25:51]do you know that they dead needs you more than those who

[25:57]are living because those who are living to an extent they can

[26:00]help themselves they can seek means to help themselves to relieve their

[26:05]distress but those who have passed away that said the test is

[26:12]over they can no longer acquire any new good deeds they left

[26:17]with the deeds that they offered in this dunya they are in

[26:21]desperate need of your deeds I'd like to narrate to you this

[26:26]hadith from the prophet muhammad sallallahoalyhiwasallam company it's a very emotional hadith

[26:35]the Prophet says in our WA hominin 30 could imagine in a

[26:39]summer at dunya the souls of the many the believers every Friday

[26:47]like today every Friday comes to the world behad I adore him

[26:54]what boo you to him where do their souls come adjacent to

[26:59]their homes their rooms their houses in which they lived what do

[28:12]in goodness but we wasted that opportunity we gathered all that wealth

[28:17]others came after us and they enjoyed the wealth and we were

[28:20]held responsible for it I've seen this subhanAllah sometimes some parents especially

[28:27]some father's they worked so hard day and night they over exhaust

[28:31]themselves I once asked one of them I told this person you

[28:37]know you're a very good father I know you're a responsible father

[28:39]but you're working too hard Habibi why you're over stressing yourself you

[28:44]don't need to work that hard to have a pleasant life you're

[28:51]working too much you don't need all this money seriously and I

[28:54]don't even see you spending all that money why are you doing

[28:57]this to yourself you're affecting your health you don't have the appetite

[29:01]to do anything you don't even have time to spend with your

[29:06]family honestly he wasn't really enjoying his life working working non-stop you

[29:12]know what he said to me he told me say it I

[29:13]have two daughters and I am saving for their future I want

[29:20]to buy each one of them a house so they'll be comfortable

[29:23]in the future I said to him two things I told them

[29:28]may Allah bless you for thinking of your daughters in their future

[29:33]but my dear brother I would like to ask you a question

[29:37]are you that exact the sustainer of your daughters or they have

[29:42]a lord who will sustain them did Allah tell you kill yourself

[29:48]to death and overwork yourself so you can buy a house for

[29:52]your daughter and the future she has a house show me where

[29:57]did Allah say that a lot tells you be responsible work appropriately

[30:01]don't be lazy work but don't overwork yourself sometimes we think we

[30:07]own our children and we are their sustainers Habibi allows the sustainer

[30:13]your daughters have a lord you'll take care of them and you

[30:17]see sometimes some people they go to a legitimate ways making Haram

[30:22]money why because I want a good future for my family these

[30:27]people every Friday they come back to the world and they speak

[30:31]to you we don't hear them but the Prophet is saying they

[30:33]speak to you they will tell you look we worked so hard

[30:37]we made a lot of money some of it was from Haram

[30:39]source allows holding us responsible for that and others are enjoying that

[30:46]money don't commit the same mistake that we didn't don't fall into

[30:50]the trap that we did imam al hassan and Mustafa race and

[31:05]in life but don't worry about tomorrow worry about today not tomorrow

[31:19]year I'm three years from now especially now with the whole coven

[31:22]19 crisis so many people are experiencing anxiety what's going to happen

[31:28]what's going on with the economy what's going on with the country

[31:33]with the world am I going to lose my job or not

[31:35]the unemployment benefits I'm getting how long is that going to continue

[31:37]what am I getting to after that is there another stimulus check

[31:44]hi baby calm down relax chill you have a lord allows controlling

[31:49]this entire universe this planet is a speck ghovat 19 should only

[31:54]serve to prove to you the power of Allah one small little

[32:02]virus that's invisible to the naked eye disrupted the entire planet one

[33:06]to the poor on our behalf for our soul one prayer if

[33:10]you can offer that prayer in our honor even even the prophets

[33:17]as they mentioned crumbs of bread you can't donate a loaf of

[33:22]bread half a loaf I will kiss certain mineral hopes a part

[33:26]of the bread this will help us this will comfort us the

[33:31]Companions said when the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa ana said this he

[33:36]began to cry and cry until his beard was soaked with tears

[33:43]because the prophet knows what the dead experienced he can vividly visualize

[33:49]it so you're telling his companions don't forget those who have passed

[33:54]away remember them do good deeds in their honor in the bazaar

[33:57]everyday they wait every Friday another hadith says empty every Thursday evening

[34:02]they come to the world desperately waiting desperately waiting is this person

[34:08]my sibling my son my daughter my grandchildren my friends are they

[34:13]going to send me a good deed tonight and you know what

[34:18]your deeds do to them my dear brothers and sisters the hadith

[34:21]states when you offer a good deed on behalf of someone who

[34:26]passed away whether it's a prayer whether it's an act of charity

[34:30]whether it's the recitation of the Quran any good deed Allah sends

[34:33]jibra eel you know who Gibran is God's greatest angel allah subhana

[34:39]wa ta'ala sends jibra eel allah tells Jobrani go and take this

[34:46]gift this spiritual gift that this believer is sending to the soul

[34:50]of the deceased I want you Gibran Eve to go and carry

[34:52]that good deed and deliver it to the one who passes away

[35:01]who's passed away the hadith states Gibran in takes the gift in

[35:05]a tray of light all the angels of the sky they can

[35:11]see that light that's how precious that gift is because now it's

[35:14]in the hands of Gibran he goes with 70,000 angels to the

[35:20]grave of that person who passed away and he calls on him

[35:24]by his name good news come here so-and-so person has sent you

[35:29]a gift then he delivers that gift which you've sent the good

[35:35]deed that you did on behalf of the deceased on that tree

[35:38]of light he gives it to the deceased the hadees' states that

[35:46]person will be filled with joy when they receive that gift that

[35:51]gift will illuminate their grave it will immediately turn into new sustenance

[35:56]at new blessings that will help them in the butter so my

[35:59]dear brothers and sisters don't forget those who've passed away I've seen

[36:04]some believers may Allah bless them they have a nightly habit at

[36:10]night before they sleep they offer us Allah I once saw one

[36:13]of them I wondered what what prayer is this person praying every

[36:17]night so once I asked this person I told this person what's

[36:21]this prayer that you're praying every night before you sleep the person

[36:25]says I am gifting the salat to everyone who has passed away

[36:31]tonight I know there is a lot of people who passed away

[36:33]tonight I am gifting them this prayer to ease their experience in

[36:41]the grave what a beautiful act of generosity my dear brothers and

[36:44]sisters the Prophet says when you give good deeds to those who

[36:47]are passed away allah subhana wa ta'ala will reward you on the

[36:53]day of judgment allah subhanaw taala will reward you in the bursa

[36:56]and on the day of judgment Allah will allow you to stand

[37:03]under his throne before he takes you to paradise especially especially parents

[37:07]and grandparents my dear brothers and sisters the hadith states there are

[37:12]some people there good with their parents when their parents were alive

[37:16]they were always there for them but the minute their parents passed

[37:21]away they forgot about them Allah on the day of judgement resurrects

[37:25]these people as being out you know what AK means in Arabic

[37:33]the one whose undutiful towards his parents you will say oh Allah

[37:37]you're the witness I was so good to my parents when they

[37:41]were alive allow until you yes you weren't but the minute they

[37:44]passed away you forgot about them you stopped doing good deeds for

[37:52]them and so you abandoned this very important responsibility I consider you

[37:56]up you did not fulfill your full responsibility just to what I

[38:00]caused my dear brothers and sisters an imam asada hani salaam every

[38:03]day would great - like ours and he would gift those too

[38:07]like us to his parents every day do so your grandparents great-grandparents

[38:13]it does not take more than two minutes if you do this

[38:17]Allah will send someone long after you've departed this world to do

[38:53]like us are better for your deceased than giving them the entire

[39:01]planet if you could theoretically that's how powerful it is and remember

[39:07]the will of Lady Fatima Leah Sarah Lady Fatima in her will

[39:11]- Imam Ali Ali Salaam shortly before she was martyred and she

[41:32]main road where people passed by maybe there was a pothole there

[41:38]was something he fixed it to protect the lives of people see

[41:42]it's a simple Act it's not a big huge achievement you fixed

[41:46]some part of the road a humanitarian act that's the first one

[41:51]the second one he sponsored an orphan because of the good deeds

[41:57]of his son Allah lifted the punishment from his father even though

[42:02]his father deserved to be punished for some sins that he had

[42:04]committed in life but because his son offered a good deed allah

[42:11]subhana wa ta'ala lifted that punishment from him you see how important

[42:15]it is my dear brothers and sisters to raise a good family

[42:18]if you raise a good family good children who do that which

[42:24]is right their charitable they care about humanity they sponsor humanitarian projects

[42:30]every time your child your grandchild your great grandchild for generations and

[42:39]generations if they do a good deed you will benefit from it

[42:45]in the medicine and that's why having a good family is an

[42:50]eternal investment every investment ends in this life every investment the day

[42:53]you leave tell us all your stocks your investments your properties they're

[42:58]gone but there's one investment that continues into eternity into the day

[43:04]of judgment and that's a good family that stays after you and

[43:09]for generations they offer good deeds you will benefit from them my

[43:14]dear brothers and sisters we ask Allah subhana WA Ta'ala to bless

[43:18]us on this difficult journey to give us the insight and the

[43:25]power to prepare well for this journey and we ask allah subhanaw

[43:28]taala to have mercy on all those who have passed away from

[43:34]us from relatives friends the previous generations we remember them especially on

[43:38]Friday remember the hadith of the Prophet he says every Friday they

[43:43]come and they begged the living ones to offer a good deed

[43:47]for them so next Friday in the morning do a good deed

[43:51]on behalf of the deceased even if it's a dollar of sudde

[43:53]that you give a few verses of the holy quran a pray

[43:58]or anything do so for those who have passed away Allah Spano

[44:03]to Allah will bless them in the Barza my dear brothers and

[44:09]sisters it was an honour for me to be amongst you this
