This video introduces the short and long vowels in Arabic.
There are two types of vowels in the Arabic language: short vowels and long vowels.
There are three short vowels and they are not part of the alphabet.
These vowels play a key role in the meaning, syntax, and pronunciation.
The short vowels and long vowels are exactly the same in terms of the sounds they
make.
The only difference is their duration.
When the sounds of short vowels are doubled in duration, they become long vowels.
The three short vowels are: fathah, kasrah, and dammah.
